Breathe in and HOLD
Purple Punishment week is almost over, but as I said before I am having too much fun. I still don’t think I will go to one purple as a first choice ever, but I don’t think I will entirely rule it out, and I love how the other ones look. Today somehow ended up being a corset post, I love corsets, in all of their styles, I especially love them when the designer makes them on all options, so that they work with everything, as was the case with these ones today.
With the Addict corsets in the first pic, it is lucky that Kianna did them on every layer including pants, so that I would be able to wear it over underpants layered jeans, and still wear the fabulous new no collar leather jacket by Aoharu, or if I had opted for a cardigan or shrug on the jacket layer. Layers really enhance the experience on how you can get the most out of your wardrobe.
The skinny jeans and frayed come on both pants and underpants layers, so this makes them fun and versatile too. I could have kept layering and mixing and matching these four pieces all day. The second pic veered away from the purple, but again showed the beauty of layer options. Wearing a cropped top on the jacket layer, over a corset on the pants and shirt layer, over a mini skirt on the underpants layer. Eclectic Apparel, Dark Eden and Urbanity all having layers for everything made that so possible. With the large expanse of skin in this look, you may be fooled into thinking not necessary, but the trim on the corset is actually on the underpants layer.
What is fun, is that the corset by Eclectic Apparel is in fact a full breast covering corset, but with the cropped shirt over the top, it looks like an underbust cinch belt style one instead. Whimsy and I took a trip to Xplosion, haven’t been since way back, and wow have they grown in leaps and bounds. Mind you the store was huge already, but I couldn’t resist the cute tank girl stockings, which don’t cover the feet, so I wonder if they are stockings at all, maybe calf coverings ? I don’t know, but they are hot.
Addict has been updating a storm lately, the doubs gloves are another of their great new releases, with either gold or silver buttons they can be fun and funky, or a little more stylised depending on look. I pulled out the older sculpted Anklets by Maitreya, I have not worn these in ages, and mentioned them to Newdoll the other day, and decided I needed to show them some love today.
A Bargain today is the Fawn hair in the last pic by Adam n Eve, this hair is great and it allowed me to get my Cher on. It is part of the 69L humpday promotion, so don’t miss out on the savings there. Other Adam n Eve items are the C ‘mere shoes I have so much fun with, as well as the leather pants which are just beautifully made. Dreams has released a new set of corsets as well this week, with houndstooth as shown as well as ribbed and animal prints.
I also have on one of the latest collars, neko style with adorable diamond paw print dangle. It comes with bling or no bling options, and has a colour change menu. Lots of fun and the cute Cat box that some of the neko items are packed in is awesome.
I love my Ife skins by LeLutka, but today went with the first love on that line Estella, with the beauty marks that are just so lovely. Great hair bases too, with light and dark options.
All my poses today were created by Miseria, I cannot wait until she produces more poses to play with, hopefully she is in the pose fair coming up on the 2nd of April , not sure though, will have to wait to see.

Ok so the asset servers are playing silly buggers. I have taken back to inventory the same boxes about 12 times now, I gave up as they weren’t going there anyway, just vanishing, so now I am just dragging them out of the way, it looks like a delivery truck overturned outside my door. Actually I could totally do that, because I am so in love with the NotsoBad rezzer that I keep it out full time at the moment.
As fun as SL can be during times of nothing working, it is unfortunate for those that have had plans made, a date set etc. Tuli announced last week that today would be the much anticipated release of her Eva skins. So far, not a peep out of Tuli as she is probably trying to tackle opening her new build and releasing of her new products, not just the skins.
The skins come in seven beautiful tones, from very pale to dark dark tan, and with a blend of make ups that compliment all. The brow options vary from tone to tone, as some wont work on all…but all that info is very clear when purchasing, and you can always check edit, or demos to find out if the brows you are after are part of that tone package. Eva also has a lovely full cleavage option, that just cries out for attention, so don’t be wearing the b version and covering them up, that just wouldn’t be fair.
Preparing this post I got to fall in love with all sorts of items, I mentioned the other day that Sabina Gully of Magika had been training up her sculptie techniques, and one of the outcomes of that is the hat hair on the right of the first pic. A beautiful loose beanie style but with a lovely rich texture that doesn’t make it too wintery, and is colour/texture change on click.
Most of the clothing today is also featured at Clothing Fair, either RFL items or just regular, and the fair is still going strong, I popped over earlier today, and the crowds are having a great time. I love the semi casual to dressy pieces being released at the moment, depending on how you add to them, they can be fun for running around in, or going out in.
That is definitely the case for the clothing released by Elate recently. The Kaia dress is perfect for slipping on and taking off – by taking off I mean going about your day :P. The two tone stripes give you ample opportunity with accessorising them, and using one of both colours as compliments to the look. I could totally wear these over a fav pair of jeans too.
Another LOVE LOVE LOVE is the gorgeous Mermaid set jewelry from Biensen & Maitai , this is a set to be had by all fishy lovers, pisceans which is now by the way, and just fans of all things water related. I love this necklace and earrings combo, and the image on both is just beautiful.
Next up another big love – don’t you just love that show, it spins me out, but it is fab – are the Alex skirts , again by Elate. This is a MUST HAVE staple for the remainder of the year, the kind of item you have on hand in your go to folder, as the style and the fit is perfect. Not only is it high waisted, but the belt is superb, and even with a long top over it, covering the high part, the belt can be worn as a cinch and just enhance the whole look… bravo Kellie on this one.
Changing into some beautiful hairstyles from Tiny Bird. Autumn has really been producing some really feminine styles lately – not that she doesn’t usually – but these have a little something extra in the girly girl department of twin sets and cameos for sure.
The rest of the Jewelry is by Addict, Kianna has updated all of her necklaces and made them colourchange, so if you were oooing and ahhing in the past, but didn’t follow through, now is the time. The doll necklace has always been a fav of mine, and now I can make it match a variety of looks when I want.
Boots Boots Boots, the Prestige ones have been featured here before, and the choice of either leather or suede is a hard one, but as you do get so much wear out of them, it is more to do with what colours will best enhance your wardrobe. The leather option is just perfect in the brown version, and I did make lots of squeely noises when I went from the skirts to the Trek outfit from Nyte n Day. How gorgeous is that safari look dress. Just going to show that thats two outfits in the same day that I get the use of the camel colour.
I adore the trek dress, it is just gorgeous, and I was able to cheat and use the lower portion of it as a skirt with the new Boyfriend Racerback Tanks by OhMai. Be careful of those, Miss Anya Piglet made them sheer so you will need to wear a bra or the other fab layers to cover up – or not – the split sides and back of these are just perfect, it is funny how when you see something done so well, like side splits on a top, that you realise you don’t see them that often.
Keep your eyes and ears peeled for the announcement that Eva is released, as the skin is just beautiful and I can see it fast becoming a default skin for many.

I may not be into bobsledding in a shopping trolley, or hanging out of the back of a car by my hair – ok I possibly made that one up, as I didn’t really ever watch the show. But I do think that if Johnny Knoxville was a chick, he would be such a Disco Diva.
This isn’t the first time I have been inspired to do the Johnny female version, and as long as people create hairstyles like this one, I will probably do more. This is a NEW NEW NEW release from HCT and I am so excited that my Boo is back making hair.
Signing up another store for What’s New SL I couldn’t not go back as me and grab some bits and pieces, one such item was this fabulous Glitter Dress by Onyx Wear. The accessories were a no brainer, especially starting with the Love/Hate rings from Addict, Kianna does such great accessories when you want to get your Funk On, and I never have to go far as she has a store here at The Deck lol.
If you have been looking for new sunglasses, definitely take a gander at Voyage by Kalnins, they have all the extras Kalnins are known for, different tints for the lenses, gold or silver frames, but the ability to change those in parts, if you want a bit of a mix. Some added glow and sparkle, and built in face lights, which you can thankfully turn off, it is just a shame the balls don’t go with them, because seriously rezzing (they are alpha I just mean when lagging ) with balls floating around my head is liable to get me beaten up in my group, and Mel will have a fit. We are definitely a no face lights group.
Other than all that, I love the style, they are pure knoxville circa Elvis fabulous. Ashia and I went and hit Plus hard last night, after a crashtacular visit to Fri.day for their sale, make sure you hit that. I love all the accessories at +Plus, and really hope she keeps making more…also if you are looking for shapes, she has a shapes store next door, and her put together ‘looks’ are really great.
I have wanted to bring out my harness for a while now, and the Zebra Slim 2.0 bodysuit was a perfect reason, SK Designs makes me happy, this combo came in different animal prints and wow the snake is hands down my fav, but snakes don’t wear harnesses that I know of :P.
This Harness is an oldie from LeLutka, Thora wanted to get everyone into Pony Play that season I just know it. Regardless of your kinks, this thing is just fun…for some reason when you split your face into parts with leather, it takes on a whole new dimension. You should see Newdoll and I swanning around in our VR Harness Gag’s by VR Foundry sometimes, it is a site I tell you, and funny as all get out, because we so cheat on the no talking thing.
The Envy boots by Magnifico are again featured at the Footwear Expo, and seriously if you haven’t tried the demo of these on yet, you need to get right on that. They are not only gorgeous front on, but the ruched sides are INCREDIBLE leather detailing , that must be seen…I even double taked when I saw them up close, really MUST HAVES. They do have an inbuilt clickable resize and ao function, with sounds, but all can be turned off thankfully.

I even played with my own decal today for this post, just because I wanted to add a little something, but couldn’t find one that sat in the right place. The first hair was a revisit to a incredibly popular store, I don’t get over there often enough, and until last night I only had this style in a mix blend.
I love Anette by Deviant Kitties, it’s such a classic updo, that because of the creator and just how you feel in it; carries over into mainstream.
But this post is mainly about the BOOOOOTS. J’s has recently released at the Footwear Expo these INCREDIBLE Thigh high boots in a gorgeous range of colours that match their previous release of ankle and knee high boots. What is also gorgeous about these boots is that they come in three heights, and as they are made using the shoe base as the actual boot itself, allowing for an extra tighter than tight fit. It is not an easy feat – pun pun pun – to achieve this look properly, many have done so over the years, and often it comes up short…but JB has nailed it.
For the super slick and shiny look of the black Thigh Highs from J’s, I went with a mix of Tank dress and wool pantys from Luck Inc…wanting to add a splash of something to the look, I opened up ps and made a starburst and made it tintable to get a similar hot pink in world. Now I did go looking at Decals made by others first, Artilleri and Stellar both have items with this kind of option, a jacket layer over a plain shirt allowing for the mixing of looks. But as the Luck inc Tank is so low cut, it didn’t match up properly so I improvised.
The Godfsts as they are called were a gift a long time ago from the owner of Gearshift, when Fia bought his nintendo belt and proceeded to drive me nuts with all the sounds. I still love these and bring them out every so often. There are actually three versions to the set, so if you aren’t into the spikes and other bits and pieces, the ones I have on are a nice fit.
With the Cherry Red printed Tank Dress, I of course went with the Cherry Red Thigh Highs…YUM. Adding a few more age old accessories, such as the Cherry bag and bangles, but with the NEW Addition of the Posture Collar from The Hat Mechanic that I was so grateful to beta test at the time of it’s creation. It was actually something that I begged for to be sold as a separate from her other items, and she went above and beyond and created a whole line of them in varies frontages and colours.
Just as new and simply divine, are the Raphael wings from Material Squirrel. All the bells and whistles you are used to in a Material Squirrel wing set, with the hud even including xcite compatibility.
The other day I did a sweater dress with corset overlay, this time another sweater dress this time from Luck Inc, with the other alternative Just Band from Nyte n Day…again tinted to match perfectly to the Thigh Highs from J’s. A much lower cowl neck , very revealing in this beautifully thick hemmed knit style. The other alternatives for this dress is a sheer version, that allows the knit to really stretch across the body, or just removing the cowl for a scoop neck look. Great for showing off such gorgeous Jewelry like the Tigers Eye set from Essentia.
All the scintillating skins I am wearing are from GALA @ Curio, yes I still cannot just say Curio it is odd to me. They are Winter2 the follow up of course to Winter1 that was released for Skin Fair and raved about. There are even more faces in this range that I will show in another post, these first three are a peak into not just the beautiful overall skin, but the way in which the face is really illuminated and given such character with the make up ideas Gala comes up with.
I do not change my shape for skins, so I really see little nuances; in the way my shape wears them…and with the Gala @ Curio it is always there, that variation that comes through from skin line to skin line. This winter one for me has an air of change, naivety and innocence that carries out through the eyes and glow to the cheeks. Maybe it is all in the name, that clearing of the old, and making way for the new signs of change..whatever it is, it is one of the reasons that Gala @ Curio skins speak to so many.
The last picture is me showing off the othertones available in this range. I am wearing the Little Miss Lingerie by 5th & Oxford again, because it is just so feminine and appealing to my sensibilities today. Also it is Roslin Petions Birthday week this week, as well as Autumn Hykovas of Tiny Bird, so if you see them around YELL OUT Happy Birthday.

J’s has released NEW and Sexy Studded Wedges. Black and white being the theme of the shoot, well with ten colour options on these stunning shoes, it was easy and painless. The Newish hud for the shoes, have preset skin tones, with darker lighter options, making it much easier to change, also with the signature toenail and toering options.
The wrapped around ankle straps are wide but totally soft looking, I love the idea of that, soft leather being worked and cobbled into the beautiful wooden wedge. The outfit I am wearing in the first pic is from Addict , a store owned by the talented and really lovely Kianna Noel . The PYT Tunic has a sensational 80’s vibe belt, with the press stud buttons at the back.
I used to have a corset elasticated belt very similar back in the day, and the annoying part was smarty pants people thinking unsnapping them all at once was funny, it wasn’t because after hours of wear you felt like you just lost part of your body lol. Thankfully in SL that is not possible, and the big bow is just accentuating the small waist the tight belt alludes too. The Tunics come in a rainbow of colour options, and the leggings are also part of the set, which is way handy, can never have too many of those.
I love how deep these are cut at the front, but not even close to how much I love the plunge at the back lol. The next outfit is the Kare Shirts set from Bare Rose, just as sexy and very evocative of nights late in someone elses office. As usual you get lots of options, the ties and shirts come in many colours, and the prim detailing is just awesome, they come with adorable little shorts, but would look fabulous with a tight skirt or even longer pants.
The two styles of hair I am wearing are newish to Junwave, both really lovely uppydo’s that I couldn’t pass up in both bangs choices, the price on both seperately is less than one wig usually costs, so it was a no brainer. Also the rectangle glasses from HOC a steal at the price and colour change on click, they are fabulous frames too and sculpted, so no alpha tricks.
The skin I am wearing today is from Dutch Touch, it is Dune and just delicious, the whole skin has been reworked for this release except for the feet and hands, the mouth is bow shaped and just too kissable, I could see developing a really bad habit of sucking on your bottom lip if these were yours rl. The eyebrows are an incredible selling point for this skin, the thick brow adds a very distinct touch to the face, and apparently by request that has been changed to give a thinner option , but in my opinion wearing them as intended is what makes them so striking.
Iki has been working her way through different stages of process with her skins, and each release has been individual , and these ones are just really stunning, check them out as soon as you can, the make ups are just lovely, I am really glad Iki added more colour to her lips in this one.

Bloggers fate hit in the midst of setting up for a shoot. Whimsy Winx of Virtually Dressed sent me a notice that came through one of her groups and it was instant TPs. We had just been shopping up a storm and I really thought I was ready, but as anyone older than a day knows, it has always been a call out over the ages for proper looking retro Rollerskates.
Imagine how joyeous it was to not only get the black ones I have on in the pics, but also traditional white. The wheels and laces are colour change scripted, which is aces, but I was totally happy with the black leather and red wheels combo that was default. Nothing like matching your wheels to your lipstick…the Roxy Rollers are fabulous.
Feeling the 80’s love with the fabulous Six Underground dress from Miseria, this style is hot hot hot, not only is it a long tshirt look, but it even has the cut shoulders so that it pulls down off of them slightly, we were such tarts back then. The screen printing on these dresses is really well done, you can totally feel the hours of work that went into them.
Also from Miseria, the Bikini Kill bikinis allowed me to show the skin detailing of the Model Skins by Idiosyncrasy, the skins come in three tones and 8 make ups each, with the added bonus of freckles across the bridge of the nose and upper cheeks. Ashia Tomsen is the creator behind these fantastic skins, and as you know until now she has only done hand drawn skins in the past, this time opting for a little mix of photo realism and hand drawn, if you know the bodies of her past skins, you will already know how amazing they are…mmmm.
Another handdrawn beauty by Miseria is the Mermaid Bustier in charcoal, this bustier is all win, the colours available are fabulous and the texture gives it that semi formal look, meaning you can dress it up or down. I just had to wear the other must have from Emery item in the form of the fuschia Skirt, I kid you not it is called skirt lol, but it is upstairs and to the left on the wall on a shelf near the blondie tshirt I showed earlier.
Tight and stretched across the body, it has a great asymetric cut to it too as in being lower on the sides at one hip, sexy sexy sexy. The Jewelry I am wearing is a new release from Bliensen + MaiTai called Mille Colori which is the necklace and the bangles on both wrists, lovely arrangements of beadwork in dynamite colours…there are five colour mixes in the collection, so you just have to find one you prefer.
Because of the fun beadwork in the Jewelry I played with the beads in the New Apple 2 Hair from Maitreya, tinting the pearlised beads fuschia to match.
