Get out there and Dance
Ok so you have to quickly dash to the credits and such because some of these things are only available until the end of today EEEEEEEEEEEK. I had no clue about this event, until I came smack/bam up to the poster promoting it at one of the stores. So when I came back online this afternoon I quickly dashed to the stores mentioned and grabbed a few goodies to post on, the 25 stores involved in the Adorable Grid Wide Sale all have an item or more out for less than 99L but the sale ends tonight so don’t miss out coz so much of it is YUM.
Ok now don’t forget to come back and read about the rest of the goodies. So the hair I am featuring in the first pic is all from Epoque, Vintage did an incredible job on those that love sleek and sofisticated styles, of course drawing some inspiration from Lady GaGa with the Alejandro style. So in that vein I went with a dancer kind of group setting for my pics. The hair comes with pack huds, so you can swap between colour choices on the run.
I did also buy some non sale items while doing the run around, some of them are in this pic, the set in the middle for instance I couldn’t resist, and of course the panties and gloves, all worked wonders for this look. The top on my back up dancers lol, is from Nyte n Day and it is extremely revealing, I really don’t imagine I would do much dancing in it unless it was gaffa taped to my breasts.
Moving down, I was so excited to see Gurl 6 return to Hair Fair this year, you know it was her that pretty much started the ball rolling on the very first Hair Fair in Second Life that was held at the Panache sim, and if you noticed there is actually a 2006 poster up at this years Hair Fair that Zyrra found and was kind enough to share with us. I love these new styles, and so awesome to see Six using Sculpties, the pixie style on the right could totally be unisexy, and has that just out of the shower look.
The three items in this pic are the ones I grabbed from the Adorable event, the dress in the middle is Sassy Kitty designs, and the two bodysuits are from PIG, the much loved Olivia bodysuit without the ruffles.

You have the right to remain silent
I seriously woke up today and went ‘Mugshots” I had found my Hair Fair 2010 Groove lol. Not only were they fun to do, but I was cracking myself up everytime I added a new one to the group. I am even being tricky and according to some numerology site I found, I have swapped the letters of the store for their numbers, so it has that touch more authenticity to it.
First hair is Aoharu, they have actually added another style to their booth, so if you have already been you need to go back again. Machange had been away for some time, so her being able to participate was awesome. Both styles are very different from previous Aoharu type hair, and the ribbons all come with beautiful textures in a drop down menu.
Both outfits, or partial outfits are from PIG, we love that store, such beautiful texture work, and all just so worn in already, that it makes it an old favourite right from the start. The shoes are the latest from Royal Blue, the name is a LIE , lol because if I was a secretary my dream would not be those shoes, but a working photocopier. But the shoes more than make up for it by being stunners.
Another one that almost didn’t make it to the fair, was Gwendolyn Cassini, so busy RL and scripting lately that Hair Fair was last minute, but she made it in the nick of time. The first style I am wearing is unisex and I have it on with a tattoo base from Amacci, i did also tint it slightly because the two whites differed.
The GORGEOUS skirts are from Beetlebones who actually has hair at hair fair 2010 also, these skirts are to die for MUST HAVES, seriously I would wear these all the time, the texture is perfect and the length and flex is just right, they are the baby bear porridge of skirts.
Other Must Haves are the Dandy boots from Miel, these western style boots are all win, not only from the shape and style of them, so yum, but also the texture options, you can change the leather main from the trim and soles. So many options and they also have that worn in look…but the winning factor is that they were also made as bottoms only so that you CAN wear them with pants with cuffs and get that boot look that is so sexy, as seen on the bottom pic on the right, with the Dandy clothing pieces.
One of the standout styles for this years hair fair has been the eating strand styles from Magika, everyone has gone nuts for these do’s and rightly so, because I cannot think of a single girl I know that at one time or another hasn’t done that, some girls even have it as a bad habit, ending up with hard strands of hair lol. The ribbon tied updo is also so pretty, from daytime casual to dressy uppy this would work a treat.
The clothing is all Nyte n Day goodness, with the shoes from Biastice recently released and also so adorable, I have a tank top RL with the same button detailing that was so huge at markets in the mid to late 90’s.
All of the skins I am wearing are from YS & YS and the messed up make up one is from The Dressing Room at a drastic reduction in price, so do not miss out on that. The mascara running tat though I made the other day for something else, so if you want one IM me.

Beach Baby
I had fun playing around with my backdrop idea today, the one thing that drives me a bit nuts about blogging is how to present my pics, seriously I get all stressed and then end up doing them the same way because it feels safer. Hopefully you are paying way too much attention to the items worn to really care that much about the rest :).
The first dress is OMG Fun, not only do I love the style of the dress, and its concept as a beach throw style, but the vintage prints just make it that much better, going back to being a kid and spending most of my time in the water, and it having been the 70’s I know that I and all my friends had these kinds of dresses to muck about in.
The Ferine outfits in the second pic are animal print heaven. If you build it they will come, I know that animal print fans are just like purple fans, if you put it there they will run to it. Whimsy is like that with animal print, which is probably what makes me appreciate it more. The options for this set are great, taking it down a notch and back up again. Animal print is not for the shy, but if you want to bust out of that shyness it would be an interesting way to go.
Wrapping it all up with a swoosh and a swish in the true frockyness of the TeaTime dress by Exodi. Delicately edged and so pretty, it is the perfect weekender, and for me it is about to be Sunday, so it would be perfect if it wasn’t pouring rain here. I love the almost spanish looking romance hair by Magika that I wore with these dresses, with the hair roses perfectly matching the colours of the dress I am set, but I would easily see wearing a large brimmed sun hat too. Maybe next time. The shoes I am wearing are oldies but goodies and they had the perfect colour companions to the dresses, the shoes are from Insolence, and are so lovely to wear with this style look.

Wow I have been behind in blogging this past week, but what a behind to have to be behind with right?
Hair Fair 2010 sponsored by A Fashionable Secret Admirer this year, is steadily getting underway, don’t worry about not finding out info, you can totally hit the Subscribo at The Deck Landing point, or Savoir Hair in world for updates.
Speaking of hair, there is some beautiful hair by Tiny Bird released in the past couple of days, seriously I love the names Autumn gives her styles, they always allude to far off romances, and remind me of old films. This one is named as such, and the style is just glorious for either spring days, or daring nights.
Not only excitement about the new hair, but DAYUM! Autumn is making clothes, and such beautiful clothes too. This dress is adorable, from it’s ribbon tied straps to its bell shaped bottom. I also love the fact that it goes so well in the black with my newish shoes from SMERSH…totally fell for these from a PIG ad, and had no plans to wear them with anything in particular. They are a bit glittery once you buy them, which I have to admit I didn’t notice…but all in all that they go so well with this dress made them even more delightful.
The next mixy matchy pieces are from SySy and Doppelganger. The shorts are great in various colours, and without prims make a perfect choice for laggy areas if needing to deprim. The tops are totally fun colours, and glittery also, but in the day looks work, but can also be imagined adding some fuller gown skirts or tule, and making a more stylish evening look, even under a nice suit with an open or deeper plunged jacket would work.
I am sporting two of the latest do’s from Fri.day in the next two pics, and they also work from day to night…I must say that the soft brown texture on the third pic left had me doing a double take and thinking of that girl from the O.C. The new skin by League – Taylor – totally had me reminded of her at a glance.
Wearing the sexy new dresses from SK Designs, these are a shirt like look, which works on their own, or you can wear over pants as I did with a really beautiful belt from Indyra Originals. The shoes I have on are the newest from SLink, a mix of ankle boot and strappy heel, they have a with socks or stockings option, or plain built in foot. The ability to have them open toed or closed makes them very durable, and once you activate the socks option, you use the colour picker to tint, giving you probably hundreds of options if not more.
The gemstone fronts come with their own hud that you can change the colours of the gemstones with, personally I would have loved a gemstones off option too for more casual wear, but if too casual I wouldn’t have been able to drag my boa out of storage and strut around like a peacock.
The gemstones and their sparklyness reminded me of the Fever lingerie from Twisted and Spoiled, the perfect accompaniment to the stunning Taylor skins. The bodies and faces on the skins by League are just gorgeous, with a huge amount make up choices and hair base, cleavage and freckles…with the added advantage of a pubic hair cover up lol. I kid you not, reverse pubic hair, seeing as the skins have a small strip Nena made a cover for lower more revealing clothing to be able to be worn. The cover comes on both tattoo layers and underpants…so if you don’t use V2 viewer all the time you can log it in, put the layer on and log back into your regular, it will stay there and be visible…just don’t forget if you change tones or skins.
Nena promised though that the next set will be shaved as default, because it gets tricky otherwise 😛 – you have to now it is in print you promised lol.
Just remember DEMO DEMO DEMO and you will be all sorted 🙂 .

I had an amazing morning, I got to talk to some lovely people, and then went on a journey to a very sparse but thought provoking sim. Bryn Oh’s art is on display and I have no idea whether or not it is a finished area, or there is more to come, but either way I was intrigued by it, Thora even came and checked it out with me once I sent her this pic I took. If you want to check it out, just look in Bryn Oh’s picks and teleport to the World Expo one.
Then it was off and home to take some pics, the first one being a recent release from Nyte n Day, this set is a great staple, you can either wear it as is in its forms, or add lots to it using it as a base, I really like that, and know that using the separate pieces will come in handy in the future.
I am wearing the Shirelle hair by Exile, I am so in love with this hair, it was an instant hit with me, and I ended up chatting with Kavar about it in IM, seems we both have Mums that wore the same style do back in the 60’s. I have pics somewhere of mine with big panda eye make up and platinum hair, so white that I am amazed she still has some.
Cute and vintagey are the Judy heels by Ingenue, with their solid heels and bow fronts they are perfect for many looks. I like that Ingenue has branched off into shoes, making it easier to find footwear for her style of clothing.
Second up we have the beautiful cocktail dress from Page 3, a new to me store that has an incredible range of just about everything…talk about your multi talented designer. Not only clothing and accessories but furniture too, you will also find the fabulous Nails and rings I have on in this post. The nails come with beautiful jewelry, and a hud that allows for silver or gold and different nail colours and french polishes, all very reasonably priced.
This dress has a short and longer version of the skirt, not too long though, definitely a cocktail frock this one, the style is very Audrey Hepburn but I went with a looser hairstyle, and the added Jewelry also from Page 3.
The last pic is a mish mash, combining Nyte n Day with Page 3 and a little bit of DeLa too. The latest styles from Exile are so win, I was finding it really hard to take off one to put on another, and then would fall for the new one just as hard. The collared halter dress is so cute, all I needed was a tennis racket and I would be off to the club, you can wear without the collar also if that is not your thing, and it works so well with either, the sunglasses are also from Page 3 and have many different options in a handy drop down menu, easy to use and perfect to wear.
The Yoga style set from Nyte n Day is so comfy to wear, the pants are great, I have slipped them on a few times in the past week…the top has some nice prim finishes, and layers options, and I would totally have that amazing scene hair if I was doing Yoga at the time I took these pics.

Ok so the asset servers are playing silly buggers. I have taken back to inventory the same boxes about 12 times now, I gave up as they weren’t going there anyway, just vanishing, so now I am just dragging them out of the way, it looks like a delivery truck overturned outside my door. Actually I could totally do that, because I am so in love with the NotsoBad rezzer that I keep it out full time at the moment.
As fun as SL can be during times of nothing working, it is unfortunate for those that have had plans made, a date set etc. Tuli announced last week that today would be the much anticipated release of her Eva skins. So far, not a peep out of Tuli as she is probably trying to tackle opening her new build and releasing of her new products, not just the skins.
The skins come in seven beautiful tones, from very pale to dark dark tan, and with a blend of make ups that compliment all. The brow options vary from tone to tone, as some wont work on all…but all that info is very clear when purchasing, and you can always check edit, or demos to find out if the brows you are after are part of that tone package. Eva also has a lovely full cleavage option, that just cries out for attention, so don’t be wearing the b version and covering them up, that just wouldn’t be fair.
Preparing this post I got to fall in love with all sorts of items, I mentioned the other day that Sabina Gully of Magika had been training up her sculptie techniques, and one of the outcomes of that is the hat hair on the right of the first pic. A beautiful loose beanie style but with a lovely rich texture that doesn’t make it too wintery, and is colour/texture change on click.
Most of the clothing today is also featured at Clothing Fair, either RFL items or just regular, and the fair is still going strong, I popped over earlier today, and the crowds are having a great time. I love the semi casual to dressy pieces being released at the moment, depending on how you add to them, they can be fun for running around in, or going out in.
That is definitely the case for the clothing released by Elate recently. The Kaia dress is perfect for slipping on and taking off – by taking off I mean going about your day :P. The two tone stripes give you ample opportunity with accessorising them, and using one of both colours as compliments to the look. I could totally wear these over a fav pair of jeans too.
Another LOVE LOVE LOVE is the gorgeous Mermaid set jewelry from Biensen & Maitai , this is a set to be had by all fishy lovers, pisceans which is now by the way, and just fans of all things water related. I love this necklace and earrings combo, and the image on both is just beautiful.
Next up another big love – don’t you just love that show, it spins me out, but it is fab – are the Alex skirts , again by Elate. This is a MUST HAVE staple for the remainder of the year, the kind of item you have on hand in your go to folder, as the style and the fit is perfect. Not only is it high waisted, but the belt is superb, and even with a long top over it, covering the high part, the belt can be worn as a cinch and just enhance the whole look… bravo Kellie on this one.
Changing into some beautiful hairstyles from Tiny Bird. Autumn has really been producing some really feminine styles lately – not that she doesn’t usually – but these have a little something extra in the girly girl department of twin sets and cameos for sure.
The rest of the Jewelry is by Addict, Kianna has updated all of her necklaces and made them colourchange, so if you were oooing and ahhing in the past, but didn’t follow through, now is the time. The doll necklace has always been a fav of mine, and now I can make it match a variety of looks when I want.
Boots Boots Boots, the Prestige ones have been featured here before, and the choice of either leather or suede is a hard one, but as you do get so much wear out of them, it is more to do with what colours will best enhance your wardrobe. The leather option is just perfect in the brown version, and I did make lots of squeely noises when I went from the skirts to the Trek outfit from Nyte n Day. How gorgeous is that safari look dress. Just going to show that thats two outfits in the same day that I get the use of the camel colour.
I adore the trek dress, it is just gorgeous, and I was able to cheat and use the lower portion of it as a skirt with the new Boyfriend Racerback Tanks by OhMai. Be careful of those, Miss Anya Piglet made them sheer so you will need to wear a bra or the other fab layers to cover up – or not – the split sides and back of these are just perfect, it is funny how when you see something done so well, like side splits on a top, that you realise you don’t see them that often.
Keep your eyes and ears peeled for the announcement that Eva is released, as the skin is just beautiful and I can see it fast becoming a default skin for many.

Clothing Fair pt 1
Wowza, I have no idea what time I started, but I am seriously starting to see spots I have spent so much time taking pics. So damn worth it though. The talent new and older at this years Clothing Fair to raise funds for Relay for Life, is off the hook Yo! – I think I watched too much Scrubs this week .
Many of the items being shown are from RFL vendors at the fair, so the money goes to help Relay for Life. I blended in a lot of Accessory Fair items at the same time, lol two birds and all that jazz.
The first outfit is Nyte n Days RFL item, a special colour from the New Release Nyte did yesterday. I just had to have this look, as the top is just perfect for lots of things, and the shorts are musts. I especially like the thin belt and matching choker parts, as they make great accessories to use with other items.
The hat/hair is from accessory fair, and by the talented Plurabelle of Bliensen + Maitai , the hat also comes without hair, but it is such a cute bob in this cabaret style, and as they are mod you can edit as I did to match your outfit.
The Earrings are also from there, and have a hollywood theme to them, and are just perfect jangle earrings. With the outfit I am wearing stockings and garters from another Nyte n Day set, thats also at the fair…leading downwards to the gorgeous new shoes by Urbanity. Their first foray into footwear and so sexy with those super duper tall heels. I had to get them in this colour as Mel liked it so much, and it ended up matching perfectly with the clothing, so how is that for luck.
The skin I am wearing is also from Clothing Fair, and also a RFL item and incredibly priced. The Plus skin Hope by Sn@tch is just gorgeous and I ended up keeping it on for the whole post. The lovely lips and mesmerising eye make up are just wonderful combination’s for a RFL skin, so make sure you try the demos available.
Now onto pic two & three , fasten your seatbelts it is a long ride today.
Kate had us at OMG, Whimsy and I snapped it up on the naughty, as we got to the fair earlier than we should have, don’t panic we only stayed long enough to see two stores and then left. All the different notices and what not confused us mixed with timezones etc.
This set was designed especially for the RFL item, and is just HOT HOT HOT. It is by Indi designer Jamie Holmer, and we are so glad that Indi got the London sim location, because if not english the sim definitely made an impact. Not lost on me that trafalgar square the home of the Punk Culture of the 80’s is right outside the door lol.
The jacket and all those pieces are just fabulous, and the boots I am wearing are also from Indi and at the fair. The Lombardi booties come with two options, studded and not, studded shown with the Kate set, and without in the next pic. Quickly though how HOT is the new Drew hair by Exile in the pic, mans hair that totally needs to be shot with a girl, Kavar you so need to do unisexy vendor pics , your short styles are wicked on women.
Not a RFL item, but totally at the fair, the Freya set by Indi is OMG also HOT HOT HOT. I am so in love with the jacket especially in the brown, it is like vintage leather and yummy, and snuggly and just sexy. You get most of what you see in the set, the jacket YUM, the two coloured tanks with their ripped look of more YUM, the pants, and the belt…and the variations and layering options are well taken care of, going above and beyond.
Teaming it up with the Turquoise Jewelry from Ganked I was so loving this look I could have stopped there. Everything was working, the way the booties fit under the pants cuffs, the jacket and hair, it was enough to want to make me convert my whole style. Actually now looking at it in print, I would have to say I was channeling Jeli as this would so suit her down to the ground.

Now this dress was just too charming to not snap up, Vitamin Ci releases some beautiful pieces, and this is no exception. I love the style of the shorter dress, with the slit in the front to the side, the billowy sleeves and the option to wear jeans underneath if you can’t do mini, that come with. Very retro in colour pallette it is definitely a fun choice for the fair. I am actually wearing a wide leather belt over the top of the dress, it doesn’t come like that, but the belt pack from Sascha Designs is just gorgeous and a steal at the price. I used it to bring together the leather in the boots, and it really did ad a bit of a different look to it overall.
Playing on the red, I went with more beautiful pieces from Ganked and the uber cute new glasses from Sand Shack Surf. These are rose tinted only to enhance your look on the world, not to cloud it. Also from the accessory fair I got another cute hairstyle from CriCri, one of many…and people if you have it, and you didn’t look past the hair OMG the trolley that comes with is super awesome with an inbuilt AO that is just wild fun. Honestly if you have no love for any of the hair – don’t know how that would be possible – buy one anyway just to get the trolley , trust me.
CriCri hair is option city, you not only get to click to change colours in the pack you chose, but also in some cases change bangs, and add or remove bows and ribbons and whatever else they added…too cool.

Ok the best thing about fairs like Clothing Fair, is the little stores you would otherwise never ever come across. That happened more than once last night, but this one was the first. It is Tomoto and the dress I have on is just sweet and really pretty. The way it moves is divine, and the almost glettering star/diamonds are done in such a way as to move on their own, it is really like watching a star filled sky.
I hadn’t been to P/a in ages, so to see newness by them at the Accessory Fair I was happy as a clam. This neck frill like choker in peacock feathers no less is wonderful. I love the idea that you could add it to a steampunk style blouse instead of the collar it may come with , and totally come out with a new look.
Ok I am going to have to break this into two parts otherwise it will be hell.

There are reasons that dresses are classics, and this dress is no exception. The cut and style to it reminds me so much of that Manager in a beauty salon, or walking the floor at some upmarket department store in the early 70’s.
Not to say that it is a uniform look, but the opposite, a very stylish staple that gives off a professional air. It is the kind of dress, that once you find it, you cant afford to not buy more than one, knowing that the amount of use you will get out of it means you will want back ups.
Shown here with other lovely staples from the wardrobe, you have looks that can easily go from the workplace, to a day out with friends, or to an early dinner date. Cool or warmer weather, depending on your tastes, some accessories like the ones worn and you are set.
This delightful dress comes from the talented sewing table of Zoe Demar, last week when I blogged her jacket, I did not realise that she was in fact cooking up a whole store of goodies, opening today. You will find a lovely handful of items already released, and more to come.
Niavi is the name of the store, and its a beautiful build as well, so make sure you go and visit it and the other great stores in the mall space.
All of the pieces that I am wearing with the Classic Black Dress, are from Nyte n Day. Another incredible resource for true staples, it’s taken weeks to pry Whimsy out of her Essential Jeans. The pieces are all either sold seperately or are part of a set, and either way you will get much use out of them all.
I am so glad too that Nyte has taken some time to revisit her older items, and is slowly doing a version 2 on some favourites *chants TIFFANYYYYYY* Nyte n Day is honestly one of those stores where you could easily just sit and watch, or sit and think over wardrobe ideas. I always feel really relaxed in that store, even though it is rather large it doesn’t feel overwhelmingly so.
New Hair from Exile, this full but short style is just gorgeous. I can see this being a much loved fav for many , including myself as a go to for short but sexy hair. Make sure you also check out Woo’s for these fun pearl sets, combining different strands to make new and interesting sets.

I even played with my own decal today for this post, just because I wanted to add a little something, but couldn’t find one that sat in the right place. The first hair was a revisit to a incredibly popular store, I don’t get over there often enough, and until last night I only had this style in a mix blend.
I love Anette by Deviant Kitties, it’s such a classic updo, that because of the creator and just how you feel in it; carries over into mainstream.
But this post is mainly about the BOOOOOTS. J’s has recently released at the Footwear Expo these INCREDIBLE Thigh high boots in a gorgeous range of colours that match their previous release of ankle and knee high boots. What is also gorgeous about these boots is that they come in three heights, and as they are made using the shoe base as the actual boot itself, allowing for an extra tighter than tight fit. It is not an easy feat – pun pun pun – to achieve this look properly, many have done so over the years, and often it comes up short…but JB has nailed it.
For the super slick and shiny look of the black Thigh Highs from J’s, I went with a mix of Tank dress and wool pantys from Luck Inc…wanting to add a splash of something to the look, I opened up ps and made a starburst and made it tintable to get a similar hot pink in world. Now I did go looking at Decals made by others first, Artilleri and Stellar both have items with this kind of option, a jacket layer over a plain shirt allowing for the mixing of looks. But as the Luck inc Tank is so low cut, it didn’t match up properly so I improvised.
The Godfsts as they are called were a gift a long time ago from the owner of Gearshift, when Fia bought his nintendo belt and proceeded to drive me nuts with all the sounds. I still love these and bring them out every so often. There are actually three versions to the set, so if you aren’t into the spikes and other bits and pieces, the ones I have on are a nice fit.
With the Cherry Red printed Tank Dress, I of course went with the Cherry Red Thigh Highs…YUM. Adding a few more age old accessories, such as the Cherry bag and bangles, but with the NEW Addition of the Posture Collar from The Hat Mechanic that I was so grateful to beta test at the time of it’s creation. It was actually something that I begged for to be sold as a separate from her other items, and she went above and beyond and created a whole line of them in varies frontages and colours.
Just as new and simply divine, are the Raphael wings from Material Squirrel. All the bells and whistles you are used to in a Material Squirrel wing set, with the hud even including xcite compatibility.
The other day I did a sweater dress with corset overlay, this time another sweater dress this time from Luck Inc, with the other alternative Just Band from Nyte n Day…again tinted to match perfectly to the Thigh Highs from J’s. A much lower cowl neck , very revealing in this beautifully thick hemmed knit style. The other alternatives for this dress is a sheer version, that allows the knit to really stretch across the body, or just removing the cowl for a scoop neck look. Great for showing off such gorgeous Jewelry like the Tigers Eye set from Essentia.
All the scintillating skins I am wearing are from GALA @ Curio, yes I still cannot just say Curio it is odd to me. They are Winter2 the follow up of course to Winter1 that was released for Skin Fair and raved about. There are even more faces in this range that I will show in another post, these first three are a peak into not just the beautiful overall skin, but the way in which the face is really illuminated and given such character with the make up ideas Gala comes up with.
I do not change my shape for skins, so I really see little nuances; in the way my shape wears them…and with the Gala @ Curio it is always there, that variation that comes through from skin line to skin line. This winter one for me has an air of change, naivety and innocence that carries out through the eyes and glow to the cheeks. Maybe it is all in the name, that clearing of the old, and making way for the new signs of change..whatever it is, it is one of the reasons that Gala @ Curio skins speak to so many.
The last picture is me showing off the othertones available in this range. I am wearing the Little Miss Lingerie by 5th & Oxford again, because it is just so feminine and appealing to my sensibilities today. Also it is Roslin Petions Birthday week this week, as well as Autumn Hykovas of Tiny Bird, so if you see them around YELL OUT Happy Birthday.

More beautiful items from the Footwear Expo, I am loving the diverse range of this years fair. So far there has been an equal kind of ratio on new items and already released. But as I always say ‘everything old is new to someone” so those creators that didn’t get a chance to release new items for the fair, still have an audience.
I got all excited a few weeks back, when I saw the city fur hat from LeLutka, I even mentioned to Minnu that she needed to make us muffs for the cold weather, as I have always wanted one in Second Life, and funnily enough had still yet to find one. Now LeLutka has released a fur hat and muff combo as their LeLook Exclusive for this month.
I went to Elate the other day as mentioned, and was really excited to see a dress called Tuli, which of course makes sense when you realise that the latest Bella skins have a make up called Kellie lol. I decided that I wanted to go all out with the sweater dress. I grabbed one of the latest releases from Nyte n Day, the Just Corset in Sand, and adding a tint got it the colour I wanted. The Just Corset and Just bands are great to completely change, or enhance a look, coming on all layers they rock.
Back to the Tuli dress though, this sweater dress is snuggly, with the large cowl neck and extended sleeves you will feel all huggable in it. The leggings I am wearing are the Zaara’s Nishar Leggings in Ivory – again tinted – to add the same tone to them as the dress…because if I am going to be this warmed up, I need to get into some serious layering. I also at one stage just wore the knee high and thigh high sock versions of the leggings, which also created a fun look.
The sensational Big Sur boots are from YS & YS , they are featured at the footwear expo and are just glorious leather in a great range of colours. They definitely have a lovely lived in look to them, and a definite trip to the cobblers to have them perfectly fitted feet.
Also from YS & YS in the footwear department, is the Illetes Sandals. A roman sandal look, with the added bonus of not just being able to change skin, nails and toe rings, but also the ability to change the metals featured…I went with the bronze as it is a lot softer with the brown shades in the picture.
Again from Elate is the Penelope dress set combo. You not only get the colour top that you buy the outfit in, but also the white. Giving you two looks, and more if you choose to wear the tops on their own with other skirts or pants, or the skirt with different tops, it is all finished well to achieve that. I love the scaled look of the skirts on these dresses, as being a pisces they rock my fishness.
More tones of the beautiful Bella Skin by Tuli than the ones I took the main pics in. I am also wearing a latest release lingerie set from Blowpop, lowrise boyshorts and triangle bra’s called Cassie, which is funny because the triangle bra reminds me of training bras we used to start out with when younger. Most recently Bonds of Australia brought back this look big time here, and the colour coordinating or not contrast look has been featured big time in their ads… so I am chuffed to have that option for Second Life too.
