Going to the Chapel
Due to the fact that Fia wasn’t around today, I couldn’t get myself a custom wedding set, so no purple other than the backdrop in this one..but I will make up for it in other posts. I really was in the mood to shoot this tonight though, so I went with it, I am sure that Ashia will be a sport about it :P.
Somehow this evening, the conversation steered its way to weddings and partnering, so with that in my head, I pulled out the Waterfall Wedding Gown by Sascha Designs, also because of the fact that the beautiful new skin by YS & YS has a hair base with matching bun, that just looked such a perfect wedding bun style.
This gown has many options of wear, but this combo was my favourite, it has a real va va voom thing going on, sort of what you would expect a hollywood starlet to wear in the roaring 20’s. This gown could also be worn to an event, because of its more silvery sheen than pure white, that would totally work.
While at Sascha Designs I camera’d across and landed on Tally Hoo, the name alone made me smile, and I thought it would be a great accompaniment to the wedding gown. If Johnny Depp was a girl, and was getting married to another girl, this would totally be what he would wear, ok maybe not, but in my silly fantasy it would be.
All of the wedding floral items are from Essentia, there are bouquets, bouttonnieres and corsages, all matching and demos available in the store, all prim and no alpha, so it makes taking pics a breeze.
Speaking of pics I played around a bit with this pic in ps, so the prims laying properly along the floor as of course prims usually sink into the floor or just hang there, this gives it a bit more realism for the pic, but just so you know they will not do that in sl.
The skin again is new by YS & YS , three tones available in 14 make ups… freckles options , hair bases and cleavage enhancements, so you have so much choice, and the skin is just beautiful. So pretty, so feminine and with a really diverse look …DEMO DEMO DEMO.
I am using some new modeling poses from Body Language Sweet Lovely Cute, I actually would have shot so many more fun wedding shots, but again with all the alpha and prims, I wanted clean looks, so I will just have to use these fab poses in other shoots, the packs are great, so make sure you stop by and splurge.

Romper Domper Doo
Sales are always fun, and even better when you have been meaning to go over and get your fix for ages and haven’t had a chance. The other things that are too much fun, are new AO’s . The other day I got one, and was attending a meeting and just giggling myself silly, while I bent and stretched and seriously exhausted my avatar and others watching me.
The new AO is one of two recently released by Body Language. Romp is a definite no standing still styled AO. It has so much movement, and most of it is fitness like in nature. What better way to show off the new shorts by Boom I thought, so that was my first play today…also handy that I got fab new visors from Cobrahive this week. They are the store having a huge 50% off sale at the moment, and if you haven’t indulged you need to. Unisexy content for the win, so you can take a group of friends over and have a shopping party.
Also new and a definite throwback to the 80’s are the sneakers by Anexx, these are reebokesque for sure. Everything about them is fun, the fringe on the sides, the beaded ends to the hang down parts, and the three different options, plain, paisley or rose print on the sides to these adorable hightops.
Even MORE 80’s are the Denim Boots also by Anezz, wow talk about flashbacks, these were so popular back then. One of my best had a pair a bit lower and looser than these, and the funniest part about the jeans like boots was the pocket replica portion actually worked as a pocket, so storing your ID and such for the night was totally taken care of.
The Riddle dress and coat combos are not only stylin for colder days, and yeah down here we are moving into that territory, but the coat itself is a separate wearable that will come in handy for so many different looks. Riddle does such lovely dresses that you could probably interchange the coat with other styles such as a big favourite their argyle ones.
The Cozy Scarves are just too divine. Buttoned or unbuttoned this accessory is fantastic. You could ad so much to an item with this, totally changing the overall look of a garment. I decided to wear them with the gorgeous Rhia dresses that for me are so original Star Trek looking.
The style is simple and just the right type of contrast, with Milla taking into consideration not only all layers , but sizes as well, with the premade prims portions in size options as well as mod. Pairing them up with her Pia leggings, aren’t the cutouts just adorable, I really hope she didn’t do those cutouts one box at a time, because we need her eyes to stay clear and focused for lots more beautiful releases to come.
I stress so much about how long it can take me to get to a release, but sometimes it is a bonus that I did, with the buttoned look of the scarves, and the two tone look of the dresses working so well with the Pursay boots buttoned version by Perse. I cheated a bit here though and went with the Sasy Chic shoes in the noir for the second look, because I could and I did .
I had to wear the eyewrap for this look first off, because wasn’t there always some sinister chick in Star Trek that appeared a goody and then wasn’t, and they for some reason are always missing eyes, or a hand or something peculiar like that – or maybe I am just mixing all my baddies together lol – regardless it is another item from Cobrahive that is just fab.
The Faded tunics by Doppelganger have that at first male oversized shirt look to them, and honestly when is that ever a bad thing. I was watching Greek the other night and apparently it’s a big turn on for men to see women in their stuff – ok it was more about dress shirts but shhhh – what I really liked was that all the colours went so well with the snowdrift boots by Kalnins. Even though I very very much would love more colour options in these boots, the ones preset into the hud worked so well for these.
Adding the big waist belts to cinch the look together, I am all ready for a day or night out with my snuggled footsies.
All of the hair I am wearing for this post is by HCT, I was a bit upset in convo the other day to hear that someone thought that Babyboo hadn’t been making hair. She has been in and out of SL of late, but she does as much as she can when she is here, and regardless of new or old her styles are still so lovely.
Also lovely are the Charlotte skins by Dernier Cri, the make up range is fun and interestingly named, and I just love the body detailing, so when looking all fit for the shorts they were an easy choice.

More hats, more hats, more hatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttts. Ok hat singular, but still…more Hattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttts. I really love the bucket hat and add on collaboration piece.
It is fun when partners get together and do great things, especially when they don’t share a store usually. Babyboo and her partner Smerk did the Hat and Hair combo together, and the hair is a hats wearable style, as in it has no top. So not only perfect for this hat, but for many others.
Somehow, I am not sure how exactly. I missed out on the knowledge of all things Vanitas Vesture, what an oversight on my part, this store is just lovely, and I cannot wait to see more from this creator. I am so in love with this skirt I am sure to be back for more soon.
Showing off my new Far Boots by Miel, these are the all colours scripted to change leather and socks boots. So cute in either solids or plaid finish. Besides the obviously awesome creation itself, the surprise and not so surprising thing was that they are MOD, Miel made the decision that due to how many prims involved, that having that many running scripts wasn’t such a good idea.
So lovelies, you will be kicking it old school with these. If you find you cannot resize by hand, you can always use a resizer script – there are free ones out there – on a copy and then DELETE it after you are done.
I edited mine by hand, and even though a touch rusty it was pretty simple and I just love them, and knowing they aren’t going to lag me up, means they will get lots of wear.
During skin/shape fair, I bought this fab string dress from This is a Fawn – did anyone else squeel watching Better off Ted this week, they totally said that in the show, and I was like WoAH – I wore it all over the place , and just loved the military style of the back. It is a lovely dress, and you can have a lot of fun with accessories with it.
Taking Marianne skin from Vive 9 around for another spin, these skins have such a wonderful softness to them, almost like a soft powder has been added to a base make up…the effect is just beautiful and delicate, and remember all those options. You will have a great time trying them and other Vive 9 skins on I am sure.

blog – I see the future and what it will be
OMG how cool is the post Ashia did on her trip to the future. Funny that I was watching Back to the Future only recently, and with the changing of the decade it just got a whole lot bizarre around here.
Was anyone else pissed off we didn’t get hovercars or suddenly have all those futuristic things they have alluded to in the past 20 years in movies for about this time now.I got the dress and boots I am wearing in the last post, and I really like the whole idea of the look. So much so I am still wearing it, and funnily enough so is Ashia, we is twins we are. I decided that as I was going to show more lovely Gwen skins, that I would also take the time to show some other fabulous pieces.
A moment to mention the fantastic hair base of the Gwen skins, as I mentioned before so many options, but my fav has to be the widows peak style hair line. More evident in pic two this bring all those styles that are a little bit too pulled back, into some perspective. I don’t mind either way, but I do know from experience some girls wig out at non bang hair – pun pun punnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
Baiastice is the designer of the day today, the styles of that store are always so well thought out, and put into really appealing looks. Those that can’t wont, and those that can, do. Not just the clothes though, often shoes and accessories just explode off the wall into your inventory.
Today though a little change of pace with a necklace from a new to me store, unusual and suitably named, the obscureness of it really made the formal pretty la la of the gown really work for me. Sissy really gets where women come from, I really do think so. She blends style and sophistication, together with boho and vintage..and the mixes work.
Take some time to look everything over, because skimming over a vendor sometimes just doesn’t entice you as much as it should…and look at all the possibilities in the outfits at Baiastice… sometimes the sets are so rigid, but often they have so much range in their own selves and even expanding into others.

Australians just love their sheepskin, probably not as much as the Kiwi’s do though *snickers* and then promises I am just teasing. We have always used sheepskin for clothing, it is the perfect warm in winter, cool in summer natural product. Sheepskin carseat covers are very common, and the infamous Ugg boots of course.
It is humorous that until Pamela Anderson was parading around between takes in them, they were actually a fashion DON”T for most of us down here. But most of us have them, and generally they were used as slippers in winter, I even accidently left the house in a pair once, and when I got out of the car and realised, I freaked out so badly that I flicked my foot so hard that my boot went careening across the car park.
Had that still been my reaction to sheepskin fashion, it would have definitely turned the moment I saw the Shearling Coats, these jackets are just fantastic, the style, fit and texture work is amazing… and so spot on to how this kind of coat would sit on the body.
The other really versatile item in this post are the Western boots, what is there not to love. It is not easy, well hasn’t been in the past to find really well created cowboy boots, especially girly ones that don’t lean to the too girly. Beautifully crafted with all the extras as usual, the ability to wear with or without the belt strap is just one of the features I love, because it is those little things that can really change your overall appeal to something.
A man that loves make up, is a wonderful thing. Kavar Cleanslate definitely has to be that guy, or he has a good ear for suggestions. Either way there is mucho love for the latest release by him of the Heart Shaped Box skins. Bow shaped lips, with a pouty look that usually lends itself to the most spoiled of petulant women, but with a can’t deny sultry look that could go back and forth through eras. Some of the make ups have a very vintage quality to them, and then there are some that are definitely our era so to speak. All of the names suggest a musical presence, and nothing can be more endearing than a song.
His first foray, I do hope wont be his last. I expect to see a great range of faces come forth from Kavar, as he has always struck me as very aware of his surroundings, and the needs of the women that make up parts of those surroundings.
Getting your western groove on is simple, and if you are feeling ” a little bit country ” like Newdoll this past week, then these looks can carry you there, without being too cheesey…not that there is anything wrong with cheese, I LOVE IT.

I may not be into bobsledding in a shopping trolley, or hanging out of the back of a car by my hair – ok I possibly made that one up, as I didn’t really ever watch the show. But I do think that if Johnny Knoxville was a chick, he would be such a Disco Diva.
This isn’t the first time I have been inspired to do the Johnny female version, and as long as people create hairstyles like this one, I will probably do more. This is a NEW NEW NEW release from HCT and I am so excited that my Boo is back making hair.
Signing up another store for What’s New SL I couldn’t not go back as me and grab some bits and pieces, one such item was this fabulous Glitter Dress by Onyx Wear. The accessories were a no brainer, especially starting with the Love/Hate rings from Addict, Kianna does such great accessories when you want to get your Funk On, and I never have to go far as she has a store here at The Deck lol.
If you have been looking for new sunglasses, definitely take a gander at Voyage by Kalnins, they have all the extras Kalnins are known for, different tints for the lenses, gold or silver frames, but the ability to change those in parts, if you want a bit of a mix. Some added glow and sparkle, and built in face lights, which you can thankfully turn off, it is just a shame the balls don’t go with them, because seriously rezzing (they are alpha I just mean when lagging ) with balls floating around my head is liable to get me beaten up in my group, and Mel will have a fit. We are definitely a no face lights group.
Other than all that, I love the style, they are pure knoxville circa Elvis fabulous. Ashia and I went and hit Plus hard last night, after a crashtacular visit to Fri.day for their sale, make sure you hit that. I love all the accessories at +Plus, and really hope she keeps making more…also if you are looking for shapes, she has a shapes store next door, and her put together ‘looks’ are really great.
I have wanted to bring out my harness for a while now, and the Zebra Slim 2.0 bodysuit was a perfect reason, SK Designs makes me happy, this combo came in different animal prints and wow the snake is hands down my fav, but snakes don’t wear harnesses that I know of :P.
This Harness is an oldie from LeLutka, Thora wanted to get everyone into Pony Play that season I just know it. Regardless of your kinks, this thing is just fun…for some reason when you split your face into parts with leather, it takes on a whole new dimension. You should see Newdoll and I swanning around in our VR Harness Gag’s by VR Foundry sometimes, it is a site I tell you, and funny as all get out, because we so cheat on the no talking thing.
The Envy boots by Magnifico are again featured at the Footwear Expo, and seriously if you haven’t tried the demo of these on yet, you need to get right on that. They are not only gorgeous front on, but the ruched sides are INCREDIBLE leather detailing , that must be seen…I even double taked when I saw them up close, really MUST HAVES. They do have an inbuilt clickable resize and ao function, with sounds, but all can be turned off thankfully.

I have been saving this hair for the right time, it had to be something stunning, and sleek..with that air of sophistication, I knew I wanted something Audrey-esque – yes it’s an official type, because I just said so.
The Harlow Gown & Cocktail dress is by Ingenue, and I am glad that as lazy at blogging that Betty herself says she is, that today she actually did it. As soon as I had it in my hands I was changed into the top portion, I was so in love with the shape and overall look, that I just had to hope that it was wearable with dress pants in a less dramatic way as well.
The Lampshade hairstyle is just amazing, and the colourchange options made it an absolute joy to play with. I am wearing Jesse one of the Skin/Shape Expo skins , that also has a breast enhancement option, which seems to definitely be the new black lately. Beautiful mouth, and incredibly captivating eyes. No need for prim lashes with this beauty, the lashes on the skin itself are divine. There is also a hairbase option which looks fantastic with pulled back and headbanded styles like Ryan from HCT, recently HCT has redone their textures, definitely worth taking a squiz.

I had to hunt down that hair today, seriously the other day I had seen it on a customer and found out it was from a store I hadn’t been to. I had many other things to do that day, and luckily I made a note of it to remind myself to go when I was back from shaping *^(%&^%^*&^*(( only Aussie’s will get that terminology, or at least friends of that are used to us screaming blue murder when it happens.
Anywho’s , today I dragged everyone to find it with me, and by everyone I mean the usual suspects, Justice, Ashia, Whimsy and Arabella. At first I had the wrong location, it was their satelite store I had made a note of, not their main, and through sheer crazyness and for some reason not thinking to look if their was more info on the profile, I IM’d the creator and was sent a LM to the correct store lol.
Nothing is too hard for me when it comes to hair. I got it I love it, it has that Elvis vs Johnny Knoxville kind of thing going on, and um YUM – the Dukes of Hazard Johnny , not the one that used to do crazy things with others and film it, coz that Johnny was just plum crazy.
Showing off the tones of the skins I am featuring, I am wearing a few of the Hotness Bikinis from Luck Inc, aren’t they trashtastical. Seriously the hair, the glasses and the bikinis with the raggedy tank hiked up over the breasts, I am ready to hook up my trailer and take it on the road Vegas style. I recently had a chat with CK Winx of Luck Inc and it was decided, that the store is a ongoing process of things Men want to see Women in.
Truth is too, that I think it’s a bit of a mix also of things Women want to wear for their Men too, but of course to be respected in the morning if we do ;). I opted for the kini prints that actually made me think of Route 66 and the kind of prints that you would find in retro themed stores, there are others in the Hotness range, and all equally sexy.
I’m featuring the BlowPop N2 Ava skins today, recently released these skins live up to the benchmark that Blowpop is known for. Beautifully worked bodies, with stunningly unique faces. There is something very wise in the character of Blowpop skins, a kind of all knowing, all seeing elusiveness.
Each make up has a second option, being a richer lipstick choice, the make up is definitely a more mature range of make ups, very sultry and earthy in tones and colour. Ava is the kind of skin that will feel very comforting, warm and friendly to not only those admiring you, but to yourself.
Take her for a spin around the house, dress her up, dress her down…really see her from all angles..DEMO DEMO DEMO.
The second and third outfits are from Whippet & Buck, a store that is a mix of Twiggy Whippet and Dakota Buck, two aussies that know a frock is a frock is a frock, now that I have the Haver tiered frock I don’t have to think of examples when explaining to the unkowing what a frock is lol..and what a frock it is, the RFL dress is a beautiful tiered frock, with such beautiful colours that I was in heaven when adding the Lamb hair and finding that the hat had a colour option in the perfect harmony. Plus I am so in love with the Lamb textures, not just the colours themselves but the names and the way they are packaged.
The ensemble above is a mix and match of boy and girl, the Sgt Pepper Cropped Jacket is a MUST HAVE as are the fabulous Harris Tartan Shorts, I adore these shorts, I honestly think I purchased those before the womens stuff. The adorable riding gloves are also from there, lending a real vintage look to the outfit.
The Clawtooth hair Timeless Glamour didn’t hurt in that department either, adding more glasses from DeLa and the DeLa socks, with the high oxfords from Tesla I was on my way to lunch with the ladies at the Club, snickers, ok maybe not, but I could be :P.
Lastly after hours of grid jumping today, with all the girls, then some of the girls, then one of the girls, then a different one of the girls lol, I ended up back at home unwrapping my goodies, and quickly putting on my Aoharu stuffs.
Aoharu is having a sale at the moment, and it is pretty much the last 22 hours or so now, talk about cutting it fine, I know. But seriously can you feel the 80’s love. The dress comes with sculpted pockets also , but as you can see you can detach those and have it more slimline, the belts OMG the twin belt is fantasticalafabulous. YOU MUST MUST MUST go grab the pack of those, all colours and a steal.
A sale at Aoharu means you must grab all the socks you can carry, seriously she has this knack of making socks just look heavenly. I grabbed a few other goodies, I have no idea what is staying or what is being taken away, so do not miss out on this sale. Hair is also part of it as well as shoes, so grab as much as you can at the saving.

The other day I was chatting with Arabella Steadham of Arabella’s Amblings, and was unable to draw my attention from her feet.The boots that she was wearing were just divine, and even more so once I found out that they had texture change options up to 6 different ones. Not only are they change, but it does it in individual parts, so that you are able to take it even further than the six and mix it up a little.
She has been wearing them on and off all week, so finally today I declared she had to take Whimsy Winx of Virtually Dressed and I to get some, and my usual awful pushy nature forced Whimsy to go against her pointed toes only rule, and get some too.
So then with us all in need of getting some blog posting done, and the fact that we have a mutual love for many similar things, we decided to all jump up on our VR Professional Posestands and have a great old time.
Now as this is a combined post, you will need to visit both girls blogs to find out the details of their outfits and bodyparts, and it is well worth the jumping about. It has been a hectic couple of months and now with Hair Fair in full swing, I hopefully will have time to share my purchases and incredible items at this years Hair Fair…but even if I do not get them all done before the end, at least you can always get them at their mains.
A few weeks back also I was all up into belts, I found some wonderful ones in my travels and this is just one of them. I love the cyberpunky look of it, and was so ecited to find that on click I could change the colour of the glowing liquid in the sides and the swirling parts at the front, making it a colour co-ordinating marvel. It has many incredible details to it, and Mel is very cautious of the spike attached to the back.
The clothing I am wearing is a combination of new and older releases from Miel, I already have shown the shorts in other colours in the past, and added the newer undertanks, as the girls were rocking out the others…but I do plan on showing those too in the future as I have been wearing them all over the place lately.
How much love I have for the stockings I am wearing, it was part of an outfit that is way hot, and I will show that in the future also, but for now you just get to see the delish large netted stockings, I am all about net stockings, and these ones are superb. I would really love this creator to do more of this style and sell them seperately as the seams are wonderful.
All of the hair we are wearing is of course only available at the moment at Hair Fair 2009, so far already they have raised nearly a million lindens for Locks of Love that is an incredible achievement when the grid has been so crazy today.
