Sales are always fun, and even better when you have been meaning to go over and get your fix for ages and haven’t had a chance. The other things that are too much fun, are new AO’s . The other day I got one, and was attending a meeting and just giggling myself silly, while I bent and stretched and seriously exhausted my avatar and others watching me.
The new AO is one of two recently released by Body Language. Romp is a definite no standing still styled AO. It has so much movement, and most of it is fitness like in nature. What better way to show off the new shorts by Boom I thought, so that was my first play today…also handy that I got fab new visors from Cobrahive this week. They are the store having a huge 50% off sale at the moment, and if you haven’t indulged you need to. Unisexy content for the win, so you can take a group of friends over and have a shopping party.
Also new and a definite throwback to the 80’s are the sneakers by Anexx, these are reebokesque for sure. Everything about them is fun, the fringe on the sides, the beaded ends to the hang down parts, and the three different options, plain, paisley or rose print on the sides to these adorable hightops.
Even MORE 80’s are the Denim Boots also by Anezz, wow talk about flashbacks, these were so popular back then. One of my best had a pair a bit lower and looser than these, and the funniest part about the jeans like boots was the pocket replica portion actually worked as a pocket, so storing your ID and such for the night was totally taken care of.
The Riddle dress and coat combos are not only stylin for colder days, and yeah down here we are moving into that territory, but the coat itself is a separate wearable that will come in handy for so many different looks. Riddle does such lovely dresses that you could probably interchange the coat with other styles such as a big favourite their argyle ones.
The Cozy Scarves are just too divine. Buttoned or unbuttoned this accessory is fantastic. You could ad so much to an item with this, totally changing the overall look of a garment. I decided to wear them with the gorgeous Rhia dresses that for me are so original Star Trek looking.
The style is simple and just the right type of contrast, with Milla taking into consideration not only all layers , but sizes as well, with the premade prims portions in size options as well as mod. Pairing them up with her Pia leggings, aren’t the cutouts just adorable, I really hope she didn’t do those cutouts one box at a time, because we need her eyes to stay clear and focused for lots more beautiful releases to come.
I stress so much about how long it can take me to get to a release, but sometimes it is a bonus that I did, with the buttoned look of the scarves, and the two tone look of the dresses working so well with the Pursay boots buttoned version by Perse. I cheated a bit here though and went with the Sasy Chic shoes in the noir for the second look, because I could and I did .
I had to wear the eyewrap for this look first off, because wasn’t there always some sinister chick in Star Trek that appeared a goody and then wasn’t, and they for some reason are always missing eyes, or a hand or something peculiar like that – or maybe I am just mixing all my baddies together lol – regardless it is another item from Cobrahive that is just fab.
The Faded tunics by Doppelganger have that at first male oversized shirt look to them, and honestly when is that ever a bad thing. I was watching Greek the other night and apparently it’s a big turn on for men to see women in their stuff – ok it was more about dress shirts but shhhh – what I really liked was that all the colours went so well with the snowdrift boots by Kalnins. Even though I very very much would love more colour options in these boots, the ones preset into the hud worked so well for these.
Adding the big waist belts to cinch the look together, I am all ready for a day or night out with my snuggled footsies.
All of the hair I am wearing for this post is by HCT, I was a bit upset in convo the other day to hear that someone thought that Babyboo hadn’t been making hair. She has been in and out of SL of late, but she does as much as she can when she is here, and regardless of new or old her styles are still so lovely.
Also lovely are the Charlotte skins by Dernier Cri, the make up range is fun and interestingly named, and I just love the body detailing, so when looking all fit for the shorts they were an easy choice.

Something Old, something New, something borrowed – but I’m keeping them – Something blue. Ok, ok nothing is borrowed, but then I wouldn’t have gotten to do the whole saying. The something old is the Sexy Sexy dress I am wearing in the first pic.
The something New would be the skins and the clothes in the rest of the pics, and the something blue, which is also new would be the store I got that smokin 3 in 1 silk dress from, but also my favourite make up, and my new earrings that are just DELICIOUS!.
I have to admit that until Athena Loring came into my life – Miseria owner- I had never really been all loopy over cuteness faces before. But have you seen her vendor ads? she is too adorable and sometimes even two times – her cami ad kills me. So a while back I went to the then Vive 9 clearance Sale, and got me some skin lovin.
Now tomorrow, or technically today there is going to be a revealing of the New skin line Marianna which I am showing here now. It will be released later today in a brand new Vive9 store , so exciting I am sure for the creators behind the brand.
The make ups on Marianna are just glorious, not only the fun names, but the incredible depth of shadow and lipstick that comes with them. Now of course there isn’t just incredible make up, there are also the different versions you get with each one. First off dark and light brows. Then of course Freckles, which then brings us to the teeth.
TEETH on skins ? we all know we have them inside of our mouths, but these ones are actually done on the lip itself to give the illusion of a partially opened mouth. Very cool effect if you have the right shape for it, front on I can get away with it, but side on due to the fullness of my lips, I cannot. But it is a marvelous feature for fun pic taking, and really setting up an ideal shot.
The other feature I would have to say is the body, just gorgeous, and the back and bum most of all. So much so that Licentious had to come out of hiding. When a skin maker makes you a bum this good, the least you can do is wear next to nothing, and this dress is that hands down.
The next two outfits are just perfect for my vintage and pinstripe love. The Ratpack collection from Chantkare is a delight, especially the first set, that dress is gorgeous, my only dismay comes from the fact that the upper portion is all on one layer. I can live with it, but I would so love the grey dress to be separate from the white blouse, to allow for more mixing and matching. But a perfect pencil dress, and the bum shading is wonderful.
Chantkare has a whole store of fabulous creations, and totally a must to shop at for high end fashion. I really like the tailored looks I have seen being released from there lately. With the different colours in this look, you can totally appreciate shoes like the Digna boots from Kalnins,with the ability to change textures with the hud, you can coordinate your look pulling it all together. These boots are so cool, with the double strap wrap look, that really do go so well with the whole ensemble.
I was checking out a store for What’s New SL tonight, and came across all sorts of delights, the first being the stocking pack that is a BARGAIN, actually the whole store is. Second was the gorgeous Silk Mini , that is actually three dresses in one, three different upper portions in the most beautiful texture. How sexy is that back in one of the versions.
Wearing the incredible Gladiator Boots from Anexx and the wavy hair from Magika, I was feeling all in charge and fabulous. I am loving the latest release from Essentia, the Deluge earrings are so beautiful with their opalesque texture and unique design, I love big earrings for the win.
I am so glad that Fiachra is back and making Jewelry, also back and making Jewelry is Wednesday Soon of Woo’s , her oversized beads are too much fun, texture change for more versatility and just lovely.

Yesterday was like a relay race, but we were all running together. From one location to another, on the backs of each spot, it was really remarkable how much ground we covered from logging in, to passing out. Along the way I picked up Whimsy and Gary, and then Justice and Fiachra even joined us for a sizzling hour or so.
I am honestly exhausted again just thinking about it. But it was awesome fun, and we do most things in conference IM calls, so it’s constant nattering and oooing and ahhing, and some yelling on occasion, that part is usually me getting all bent out of shape about something stupid.
Fiachra got to use the old expression “can’t see the forest for the trees” which had us all groaning, even Gary did some damage shopping up a storm, it was a great day, and totally seasonal mania. We definitely found new to us stores though, and even though it is sweltering down here, I came out all snuggly.
The dresses I am wearing all come from M*Motion, a little Japanese store. They have some lovely items, and the prices are really budget friendly. The first dress actually had more pieces, but even if not it was the belt that grabbed my attention anyway.
Extras can be so much fun, and in this case it was the belt. With the boots I am wearing, it is all the extra leggings that just fill you with delight. Machang of Aoharu/Anexx has included not just the normal aran style knit in her knit legwarmers/boots set, but also a nordic version to match the recent nordic knit sweater jackets she released, and not only do you get those two options, but also knitted leggings in a whole range of winter delight colours.
I am actually wearing some of the leggings in the first and second picture. You can of course also see that the boots come in two varieties, heels or flats, seperate but totally perfect for those that don’t do heels or ever wear flats. The second outfit, was kind of a grab it anyway purchase, it does have text sort of transparent stamped into the cleavage area, it is subtle but if not your thing, then not for you…I just liked the fun steampunky look of it.
Both looks also allowed me some hat/hair loving. I adore hat/hair, have always done, and I have said so more than ten times in the past…well today the release of the New Fri.day styles didn’t let me down in that department. A whole lot of hair to love, and many of them with hats, or scarfs etc. But for those that aren’t about the hat/hair love, the styles have been repeated without.
Fri.day has such beautiful textures also, so mixing it up a bit was definitely putting me in a lighter and brighter mood, mind you the names of their colours could have you seeking therapy lol.The hats/scarves are all texture change on click, so you can co-ordinate with your favourite knits. The beany style also even has some striped combos that are a lot more urban in my opinion, and great for mixing with mens sweaters and argyle styles.
The last dress is my favourite, I grabbed that in all colours, and it is not only warm, but hell sexy. Scooped neck, but not too low, just low enough, to not only show off Jewelry , but also killer cleavage in the form o f the Bella skin by Tuli. A nice split up the thigh, and a gorgeous knit weave that has it definitely a more luxurious look overall. The dress also comes with its own open toed stirrup style socks, that do have a smidge of residue at the tops, but overall YUM.
I couldn’t help wanting to add to the glam with the stunning Fur Coat from Aoharu, shown in the past in white, the black is just sleek and all about the glamour. Worn long or short, with this sweater dress the combo is divine.
Tuli has recently released new make ups in the Bella range, with a different twist, either being all about the lips, or all about the eyes. Today I am showing ones that are all about the lips, giving rich deep shades, with a perfect overall effect. Bella has been a huge hit with many, so adding to the make ups is a wonderful idea, allowing for a long love for those that have bought it to be their full time skin.

Wow what a rollercoaster. I ended up online for 20+ hours straight, tried to sleep in this disgusting heat, and ended up back on three hours later. But with so many gorgeous shoes to take pictures of, with their equally beautiful counterparts of skin, hair, clothing and accessories…I am not too upset about lack of sleep.
I actually took some pics, and ended up stopping for a bit to meet up with Fae for a quick demo of skins. The funniest things have been happening with pictures kicking in with avatar baking for me lately, but that is a whole other enchilada.
The Lace Up boots by Anexx are hands down some incredible work, for boys and girls. YAY for the men, I was in FE for hours having to assure some the other night that there were in fact mens items at the fair. I love the work boot look, I was actually umming and ahhing over some others I saw the other day, that just weren’t doing enough for me, but it was the fates making me wait for these.
As other fates would have it, there was an all pink sale at pink outfitters I went to yesterday with Whimsy. I snapped up a few bits and pieces, and one item was the bermuda shorts that just perfectly went with the pink boots. I wanted to do a little more for this look, so I went a rumagging. Taking some older pieces by Canimal and adding a new but vintage twist with the cardi by Artilleri.
Definitely a back and forth mix up, with the bag a timeless classic by SLink and the hair the latest release from Nishant Zobovic who has returned to SL with the NEW Brand for hair, Anaphora.
The Gluttony skins by Red Queen are just gorgeous, whether going with the RP look, or the more sedate but captivating look of the first picture, it all works. How she features the eyes on her skins is always my favourite part, she really knows how to work those make up brushes.
If pretty in pink isn’t your thing, then go to the darker side with the second look. Ok not darker as such, but it sounded fun in my head. The NEW Release of the Oversized cardigan from Fishy Strawberry happened just as I was in the process of taking pics, and it is just splendid. I have to point out that Fishy – or Fi.St (does anyone else giggle at that in inventory?) -Â is now doing fat packs, YAY.
They actually do come with their own socks, but with the prim attachments taking the same as the upper portion of the boots, they had to go, in favour of the WWI ones with garters. The cardigan actually comes with a more voluminous attachment to the middle, giving it more of a baggy look, but I wanted to go with the length of it, and keep it tight and fitted, it really is just snuggly yum yum.
Again the Lace Up boots by Anexx were just perfect, they have such incredible detailing, from the laces themselves to the little toggle prims on the sides. two options for each with the uppers, one of them being mouton, which is of course a shaved sheepskin giving extra warmth to the look.
You can also see in my pics that the insides are as beautifully detailed as the outters, no cutting corners when it comes to Machang’s creations, she really goes all out. I would love to see this style in a higher boot if possible, mid calf length would be sensational, with a flopped over tongue perhaps as an option…if you build it, they will come :P.

So the long awaited is finally here, for me it feels a little longer, as one day I beta tested a first skin and then never heard anything else…unfortunately as stated in my last post I have been a tad distracted of late.
I went over to the setting up of the Vanity Universe skin fair, and was lucky enough to find demos of the New Sienna line by Ryker Beck. Now Ryker is a name that goes with skins in my mind, since way back when she first started appearing as a very talented blogger, she was the most intense skin poster ever. If your skin was blogged by Ryker it came out feeling like it needed to be hugged and tucked into bed with its favourite blankie…I am by no means saying she was hard on it, but seriously if you were a skin you definitely went under her microscope and how lol.
Some of you will know her more because of her art on Flickr, she is incredibly talented, and it has taken a lot of productivity for her to – from a spectators point of view – reach her nirvana. This skin line is a huge leap into gorgeousness, the face is beautiful and sensual all at the same time, the attractive features and divine make up had me at kaching.
Now I have to admit I was a bit eeek at all the make ups, some I wanted way more than others, and as she has smaller packs to choose from I was dismayed to find that all my wants were spread out, well NO FEAR because I actually remembered smatterings of information that had seeped into my subconscious.
Exodi the store owned by Ryker has a build your own pack system. If you purchase one of her prepaid cards at her main store, for 5K , you get to choose any 8 make ups from her collection, and as there were ten I had chosen as favourites this was perfect for me. I narrowed it down to 8 and then using the card was in my element.
One of my favourites would have to be the Snow, the stunning make up I am wearing in the clothed picture , it is just gorgeous. The body of the skin is lovely and there are so many options with the skins, brows, freckles, cleavage and you even get eyes made by Ryker in all natural colours for free, how awesome is that.
The Lingerie I am wearing for the body shots is from Insolence and was sent out as a Gift pack for What’s New SL , thank you so much Camilla it’s beautiful.
Now I think I would have gotten drawn and quartered if I didn’t wear the ALa Mood Jewelry I have on with the Sienna Skins, as Jori has been the one making the most noise over the Exodi Sienna skins in the past week or so, so together they go, and lovely they both are.
Mixing it up with some Aoharu and Anexx the Aoharu Boutique shoes line. I had fun picking up the lovely ice colour of the boots in the shoulder ruffles of the girl in the picture on the tshirt dress.
My hair today is from Gurl 6 these are two more of my all time favourite styles from the store, Six Kennedy is an amazing woman , and I love her styles that went so against her usual creations, when she branched out she always ended up making gold.

Rocker Chic
As I said earlier, I already had taken a pic that I wanted to post on, but got carried away with the vintage love. Earlier than the Ingenue spree Whimsy , Gary, Justice and I hit up some other stores. I ended up getting my rock chick on , and it was all tude from there.
I ended up combining what is a sexy Glitter Shirt mini dress, with an incredible glittery sheen to it, over some hardcrash leggings, both are items from Aoharu as that is where we ended up, Whimsy wanting Gary to get a matching coat to one of hers, and us realising that Justice hadn’t shopped there enough in the past.
The cut and sliced leggings instantly made me think of the Buckle wedge boots from Anexx , these ankle boots are just fab, the style and shape is wonderful and the open fronts just make them a fabulous addition to the look, they have prim feet/toes so you will have to play with the colouring, but they have made it easier… not only giving you preset colours, but now also an editable tint ball, to make it much better.
Adding some gloves from 5th and Oxford, and some Jewelry from DeLa, with the addition of a New hairstyle from Magika, named Willow all I needed was a tour bus and I would be well on my way to rocker stardom. The Mia Doll skin from Idiosyncrasy is definitely versatile, and the pale complexion is perfect for those that spend all of their time asleep during the day, and howl at the moon all night.
