So today I woke up and checked my emails as I was logging in. There was an offline from a designer who’s store I featured a few years ago, letting me know he still remembered that the first time he appeared in a blog it was by me, and that now he had his own store blog.
I thought that was so sweet, and was excited to see some items I hadn’t seen of his on the blog. Yes I did go and search out his store every few months, but nothing that I didn’t already have, until today. So as soon as I logged in and sorted through everything I had to , I was off and running.

I also checked out another store, then came home. Trying on all my new outfits I remembered that I had meant to swing by Refuge, so off I went again, and got two more styles to show with my other Refuge hair. I really like the hair produced by Refuge, especially with the straight across rock-a-billy bangs. The first style has the most adorable bows and pins decorating the pigtails look.

All the clothing I am wearing is from SK Designs, they have been around since 2007 and their look has changed a bit, but not too much over that time. The creator Sergio designs for both men and women, but I think from the style of clothing he does, that he probably enjoys making for women a bit more. The ensembles are sold as sets, so all you see is all you get, and sometimes more, depending on if there are other coloured tops or both long and shorter pants, etc. The prices are really reasonable and transfer, so if you are looking at buying items that you can share with your other selves, this is perfect.

The skins I am wearing are the Cleo skins from Dutch Touch, with more leaning towards the more creative of make ups in the range, the punk and pip make ups are a fun change. The eye make ups are especially gorgeous, and I have been wearing the punk skins on and off for the last few days, I love the liner on the inner part of the eyes.

Old boots in the form of the 3way Engineer boots from J’s, teamed up with the brand new Rea Suede plain boots by Pixel Mode, these are delightful , in a range of colours that you can co-ordinate with a vast range of seasonal choices. The style are simple but elegant, they have a semi scrunched look, and an incredibly high heel. What is very surprising and will make many happy , is that these boots are mod, so that you can size them to your needs.

I had a wonderful time revisiting an old store, and came out with lots of newness, I hope you like.

    Hair thanks

Hair has always been such an incredible industry in Second Life. From way back when there was less stores to choose from, until now, where there is a constant stream of fabulous locks to love. Hair used to be my biggest and only addiction in Second Life.

Sometimes buying up to a dozen styles in one day, and ending up walking around in the last purchase, and often never even wearing the first few until weeks afterward. I actually started as a redhead, the candie Vonta being the first style I purchased for 5L and regardless of how many other styles I bought in the weeks following, I loved it to bits, and wore the red all the time.

I thought I would never move from Strawberry red by Gurl 6, it was a to die for red, and it was close enough to the one by Panache. I actually still have Candie and Faith MidNyte still in my inventory, it is too hard to let go of them.

Then I started to find other stores, and the reds weren’t special enough for me, or as bright, or they just didn’t have the same energy to make me desire them. The hair itself did that, but the colours were so hard, and back then it was very rare to have a colour demo, and often hair had so many strips of either demo texture or colours that you were distracted.

So I turned to the ‘safe’ black , because even when black isn’t always the exact black you like, it is still black. I often mix it up though, there are stores I often cannot pass up their reds, or blondes, or even brunettes. But out of habit more so than not, I reach for the black, and i do love it, I always wanted to dye my reddish hair black as a teen.

There are others though, that are so true to their colours, perfect examples of that come in our bloggers, there are some bloggers that we probably recognise more from their hair colour, than anything else when running down a feed, especially the redheads like Cajsa, Ana and Whimsy.

I actually embarrassed myself recently at a store with Grazia, when a lady joined us to say hello and I mentioned how startling it was to see her not blonde, apparently she had changed hair colour a while ago – sorry Nici – but even though I look at her blog every other day, in my head she was still a blonde.

Over the years I have worked with a few different Hair Creators, as well as been close friends with others. There are many things that go on behind the scenes in all kinds of stores in Second Life, but with hair it is a constant mix of updating, repackaging and coming up with new styles.

The amount of IM’s as well as notecards a hair creator can receive during a week is huge, not even counting the downpour straight after a release. Can you make it longer, shorter, bangs on left, bangs on right.  Can it have a bow, a bonnet, a hat.  Can you take off the bow, the bonnet, the hat – lol I just realised I sent one of those IMs just last week myself.

If a hair creator changes textures, it’s the end of the world for some. If a hair creator changes the way they put together their packs, it’s catastrophic. Being a newer creator in some aspects is easier, because you have the ability to really look at the market as a whole, and see what it is from the start that will work for them and their brand. Older creators often get stuck in what they have, because any change could effect them as a whole business.

We are incredibly loyal to our hair needs, I once did a post on hair creators including updates in their packs, that way if they did make changes, we got the choice to change with, or keep what we had, but the option would be there. Possibly freeing up the creator, and allowing them to feel that it’s ok to change.

Making room for new hair has always been my own personal hell, when hair creators discontinue – cries . Hairstyles we love so much, are suddenly thrown away. Aleri has done that to me often, but last year I actually won one back, as that hair was asked for so often it was just crazy not to pull it back out of retirement.

That’s sometimes another IM/Notecard “where is such and such hair, I saw someone wearing it and I must have it ” the hair has been deleted even from the creators inventory, but the IM’s keep coming, so they recreate it as close as they can, which makes many happy, but for some reason, others get a bit weirded out by it.

Is it the same ? Is there enough of a difference in a style to make it a New style ? Well for me it doesn’t actually always have to be too different. That is the other thing I have noticed about hair wearers.

Let me step back a second though, a few months into Second Life, one thing that dawned on me, is that in such an incredible costume driven environment, we don’t have wigs. Or at least we didn’t back then – I would hate to not point out that Curio Obscura  most definitely fall into the wig area – but I was watching a rerun of Alias, and pined over the way Sydney looked in a short blue bob.

That all of Second Life hair for some would be thought of as wigs, I have even heard some call them that, but that means we would have to consider ourselves naturally bald underneath. But we didn’t get to wear hair that looks like it is a wig. I mean if Cajsa turned up at an event in a short blue bob, that would be considered one 🙂 as she is known as a red head.

But if I did it, or Grazia or many others , it would be just us changing hair colour/styles again not a second thought would go into it – Mind you Grazia in that pulp fiction style Lamb hair looked HOT HOT HOT like a wig.

So back to hair that only changes slightly, or a lot. If I wear my rQ hair, it is like it’s my hair restyled. The hair itself is always the same texture, similar length pieces are used, but it is such a different style, that it looks like I have really done something new with it. It looks like I gathered it all back and knotted it, or I grabbed big handfuls of it and added enough hairpins to hold it in place. Or it looks like I gathered it up as best I could under a cap, and that is why I love it.

If I go to Magika it is the same, my hair, restyled , or cut and restyled. Sometimes I part it on a different side, sometimes I add things to it, but it is my hair. I wear it up, over , under, I curl it , leave it to dry naturally, get it layered or wrap it around a bone if I want to.

I am also loving lately the fact that a few newer stores, and some older stores are all using the same textures, this just gives those that wish to keep that same look, but slight changes, more of a range to choose from now.

There are other stores where each release is a completely different style, it isn’t your hair you worked on, but more of a visit to a stylist for a make over, you completely do a 360 and out you come looking so startlingly different that if you didn’t have a name over your head, your own SL mother wouldn’t recognise you.

But that is half the fun too. I have many of those styles as well. There are so many ways to give yourself a lift in Second Life, the most inexpensive of them is Hair. I could go to HCT , ETD, and have a hair explosion just in 1L packs.  If you are new it is an incredible thing, to have such wonderful variety to find the look you wish to have, mind you that often changes a few weeks in, once you see all the other ways you can look.

But for the most part, people want to identify with their avatars, especially the longer they are here, if they work or represent a business, often they want to look as professional as possible, so like to wear their hair up and neat, but love the option of the same looking hair once its down and loose, for more social occasions.

Some rely on stipend for their shopping money, they are on a budget and treat themselves to new hair every few weeks, like a visit to a RL hairsalon, so it is a big deal for them to not get something too ‘out there’ from their natural look. They will be loyal to a brand that can give them as much of a range of the same hair as possible.

Much like people that are loyal to one skin line, pining for new make ups.

All of these factors play a huge part on the hair industry in SL , some cater to both customer bases, some cater to only one. Even the sci fi, cyberpunk hair creators tend to do variations on their own styles because of the loyalty to a particular look their customers have.

Hair becomes as permanent to many as their skin, I remember being guilt of assumption because of the very hair I mentioned in the beginning. If I saw someone wearing the Panache 5L styles I assumed they were new, and if I looked in their profile I would find that wasn’t the case at all, the hair had become the them they identified with the most. They are not unaware there is more out there, they mix with other people, they shop in stores all over SL, but the hair is how they feel comfortable, it’s also how often you can find people in a crowd lol.

Mel wears Armidi hair, and sometimes I think of him changing it and I freak out, he logs into a different Sasy every day, sometimes hourly lol, but if he changed him I’d be a wreck.

So thank you to all the hair creators out there, the ones that give us wigs, the ones that make it possible to feel like a rockstar on occasion. The ones that make us incredibly unusual styles that we could only ever wear in Second Life, and we love that we get to, and a big thank you to those that listen to the requests of their customers and make slight changes, so that we can feel at home in ourselves, because Second Life can be a scary place without an identity of your own.

Oh and thanks for reading my ramble about hair, and my experiences with it. Remember this is just my observations, and dealing with friends and customers, and just how I sometimes want to be a rockstar, or pebbles, or business like.

    Camisk Elegance

    Em2
    Em

Camisks are so beautiful, on rare occasions I will find myself wandering around some out of the way place, and stumble across a little store with divine camisks. Sometimes they are a lot more revealing than others – I smell toast sheesh, neighboars are mean when they tease me with foodstuffs – anyway, as I said more revealing than others, as they are an item of clothing that is created to tantalise the eye.

Then there are Camisks like these two , they are so beautiful, the fabric choice and colours, I couldn’t not snap them up, they have been awaiting me for blogging time, and they have been neglected big time. They are so elegant and I really think that something like this teamed up with a full gown skirt would be a wonderful way to create your own unique gown.

I went with a little more of a light but dressy look with them today, the two colours that I snapped up are gorgeous with their interwoven gold/bronze pattern. Wearing some accessories from Uzuri , who does beautifully intricate jewelry, and boots by Tesla.

The new ankle boots called Absolute by Tesla are very pixieish, great fun for light shorty days , or even better when wanting to wear boots with pants, as they are only one attachment.

The stunning skin I am wearing is Cleo by Dutch Touch. This skin is not only character beautiful but the make up is just gorgeous, especially my fav of the bunch CAMO , I mean what an awesome blend of colours , Mel teased me about that, wondering if it was so I could sneak up on people – his favourite hobby is teasing me , gosh I love that man. I also love this skin and I spent time at the store snapping pics of others wearing it, just because I was in such a mood, Whimsy joined me and we had such fun.

Make sure if you haven’t already, that you check out the Cleo skin as well as all the other divine skins at Dutch Touch , it definitely is a skin range made for green lovers ♥.

Also make sure you check out the NEW Stylista Poses from DeLa recently released by Eitaro , Kura’s also very talented sister.

Going with a little bit of a theme in a round about way today. I actually blame Grazia for this one, I ran into her out shopping and she reminded me that it was about time I went to the store I kept saying I had to go to soon. So off I went and bought as much as I could before I got tpd away.

I actually snuck back again today to get more :P. The dresses the seperates, they all work. Also the featured items in this post are the beautiful new make ups in the Beach Skin range by Gala @ Curio , they are themed for the lovely beach/ocean creatures and forms of nature found in such places. The colours and blend of lips and eye makeups as usual are inspired. Ranging from dramatic black pearl, to the every present pure, from day to night you are covered.

Another feature is the fabulous NEW Ankle boots by J’s. These boots are just scrumptious, the colours available are a mix and match dream, and the texture of the leather is truly superb. My all time favourite thing though is that even though these are made with the invisi prim on the foot and the boot on the lower leg, which makes me cranky because I can’t wear my favourite boots with pants untucked, but JB has made a version for pants wearing, allowing the boots foot to be worn on the actual foot as you don’t need the upper portion of the boot anyway, YAY THANK YOU THANK YOU.

Lately Zaara’s has been providing us with not just beautiful clothing, but incredibly textured accessories, in the Jewelry department. The Vyomini chained bracelet is one such item, coming in gold or silver option, with onyx or turquoise as the choice of semi precious gemstones. The bracelet is a chain style wrapped around the forearm and wrist and threading its way to the palm. I really enjoy this style as well as all the other beautiful and inspirational pieces in the recent releases.

Hair has always been an addiction of mine, I watching creators grow, adapt and blossom is always a delight, and then there is the New to hair creators, Miel has just broken into the hair making market, via The Black Market, a new collab location of fantastic creative content. Also breaking into hair is our own Aradia Dielli who has recently taken up the styling wand and started creating hair for LeLutka, her first style is named after her much adored Sister Kiana of Addict.

Red Queen has been making requests of more Anime inspired hair, and Magika has been retexturing the whole store, with House of Munster having a 50% off SALE …it is a great time for hair :).

All of the fabulous Sand Shack Surf  – I really have issues with saying that in voice lol – clothing I just loved wearing, the Dock dress in red was a second purchase, regret not getting all three now, it is a delightful frock, as is the Colleen. The Rachel one pieces are a divine swimsuit/leotard that I have paired with the foofoo tutu by Canimal, making a really adorable look.

    Biker Babe

    Biker Babe
One thing about the fig leaf duo over at Adam n Eve, is they do leather, and they do it well. Starting at the boots, the new Troi boots by Damen Gorilla are sleek and sexy. The racing stripes up the side make them go faster :P, and they are only available for the month of August, now there’s a way to torture the foot fetishists out there.

The other leather adorning my body today, is by Sachi Vixen who love’s to take on a whole lot of endeavours at once, the latest is the reworking of her entire skin line. Recently she undertook the destruction of the old hair store, and I have to say YAY.  Sachi and I have had a long going battle with the hair department at Adam n Eve, and finally she got around to a huge revamp just before Hair Fair. Make sure you give that department a thorough fondling when you are there gettting the boots.

Wow I did go off on a tangent then, the leather is the Leather pants, and the Georgie Vest, both item were created a large amount of time apart, but are stunning together. Sachi does INCREDIBLE leather, after the skin make over , I may just have to put up my dukes for more leather.

Around my neck and arms are the divine bows from DeLa, seriously these are so pretty, that it is one of those ‘I didn’t know I needed such things, until I had them” moments. They are available studded as worn or not, the arm bands look fantastic like this, or even more beautiful with a corset top from a formal gown, it ends up giving a really beautiful boost to older styles.

The Pilot Peepers are from Miel, and come with an array of menu choices, for colour and shade settings. There are other glasses to choose from, but for this look I went with pilot, but all are so great you need them for sure, especially the Genius ones lol they are too cool.

Wrapping it all around the Riley skin by Idiosyncrasy, Ashia definitely has her skin groove on lately and I am stoked. With an international relocation she found inspiration, and that rocks. Riley is a youthful looking skin, but with the strength in the make up, it definitely works on both levels, and also has freckles options. I got to sneak peak another upcoming skin from Idiosyncrasy and the temptation to post it was so high.

    FLW

    FLW
    FLW2

You know I have to be honest, I didn’t know who Frank Lloyd Wright was before Second Life. It’s not that we don’t have influences of his in Australia, I mean we must. But not until Second Life did I ever really consider where those influences came from, or for that matter in how high regard a man such as he was; was held.

I am probably very underdressed for a field trip of this nature, but that is the other joy and learning experience that Second Life allows us, don’t judge a book by it’s cover, actually; just don’t judge.

Imagine what he could have done in Second Life had he lived to see it, but he is actually not only immortalised here by the place I visited today, but because of the NEW FLW Museum I actually learned that one of our esteemed Designers names ‘Fallingwater’ of Shinythings, is the name of one of his more famous builds. I wonder if she is a fan too and that’s why the name ?, the irony is that her last name is Cellardoor and from what I read, he actually got rid of most basements and attics that were in usual American architecture, now I need to know if Fallingwater actually had a cellar …argh – someone has to let me know.

The FLW Museum in Second Life is a beautifuly dedicated build to his memory, the large pictures of him are full of facts about the man, and his life. There is a tour of his work, and just a really nice vibe to the place. I do not know how the Museum came about, but if it is what I think , then someone who admires the man greatly has dedicated their time and energy to show and share that admiration with us..we are truly lucky that we can do that here.

The outfit that I am wearing is a mix, the skirt – which Ashia claims is NOT a skirt – is by Paradisis, isn’t it arrest worthy..the only pout worthy thing about it is that the panties do not come seperately and they look awesome, and I want them. But aside from that it comes on a billion layer combinations.

The incredible thing about Paradisis is that everything is sold either transfer or copy, depending on which vendor you buy from, so be aware that you do have that option, and don’t buy the incorrect one. The Skirt comes with the garters and fabulous stockings in three different colours. Incredible prices and everything , and I do mean EVERYTHING is handdrawn by the creators at Paradisis.

The hoodie is a release shortly after the skirts, and they are equally fab, coming on numerous layers with a great range of colours. The skirt also comes in other colours, I bought them all, one is the U.S version with red and white panties, with a blue denim skirt, very cute.

The Vogue Tank is by Cynful and comes also on a billion layers, in with or without garter straps option, I obviously didn’t wear that one with this look as I would have had way too many straps going on, but it will get a revisit soon. The tops also have a lovely lace trim as well as at the cleavage, but you can’t see it because of the layer combo I am wearing.

Lovely Tasha, is a skin that many know and have from LAQ, recently redone in the Glow series, it deserves a revisit…or a first. Due to it being a redo , the fat pack of this skin and a few others in the Glow range are a steal, and all come with the hair base option, that looks awesome with the latest release of the hair that goes with hair base skins…so much so that I was able to convince Arabella to try on the skins when shopping for the hair, and it was a win lol.

The nose on Tasha is adorable, and the make ups are just lovely, the lips will win your affections, as they are full and pouty and just incredibly done, they are a rich and full covering lipstick which is great for those that want to look like they are making an effort for a night out, but also giving you a day option in lighter colours.

    Lifes a Beach

Kura had me at Sassyyyyy Newwwww. I love that girl, I cannot help it, she always makes me smile no matter what the IM is regarding. The New Alexis Jacket and Alexis pants sets, sold seperately are just too many shades of awesome.

The pants come as shorts, medium wide leg capri or trousers with and without cuffs options…but nothing prepared me for the bliss that is the Jacket. Vintage looking YES, beautiful ruffle style piping YES YES YES, but as much as all of those things are adorable, NOTHING compares to the flippy uppy bottom at the back of the jacket. Even without the pants, can’t you just imagine this with a system skirt…LOVE LOVE LOVE.

The sculpties and texturing is lovely, and so much so that I couldn’t resist showing it without the prims, which actually makes a nice looking shirt.

The new Beach Skins by Gala @ Curio are just another sensational product. The thing about the Gala line, is that she really does know what it is to be female, and that is so evident in how she packages her skins. Some women stick to a tone, they will not deviate from it, and if it is not similar enough in another brand they will do without.

I myself vary my tones dependant on mood, I can switch from pale to dark tan at the drop of a hat, but I do tend to stay around the sunkissed region. Now lucky for women like me, Gala not only does a wonderful range of tones, but she gives you a light and dark variation of each, as well as a slight variation on each make up, giving you so much more for your crazy days of not being able to decide on the look you want.

I swear this consideration of her customer base, makes for huge fangirlyness. I remember once a friend I worked with saying, you should never shop with PMS, because she came home with a faux fur bikini o.O , I kid you not , faux fur. So on those days when nothing sits right, your attachments wont attach, and you swear you want to go from light to dark or dark to light in skin, just coz, and no one can change your mind, at least you may be able to calm down a bit, and possibly save some buyers remorse with a Gala.

In the main picture I am actually wearing a special and exclusive to the Skin Fair that is now on for a short time, each wonderful designer was asked to make an exclusive to the fair skin/make up and Gala released the Beach Osprey make up, which is gorgeous, and a steal, where you get not just one tone, but all tones, in light and dark with two make up variations for only 1K.

There are slight differences in the Beach face, the mouth especially, whether already a huge fan of the Gala skins, or in the past them not suiting your shape, take the Beach for a whirl, and definitely do not miss out on the Osprey , the idea of getting all tones in one, is just fabulous.

Futuristic Glamazon, that is the first thing that comes to mind with the Cai Suit. The second is usually high society women with little white yapping dogs, lol, either way, the outfit has a definite appeal for an empowered woman. The pants have a definite tailored quality to them, and the sculpties are really well textured, they will again require some modding, due to the sizes they are made. I guess the arm pieces being built so small is a bonus, as often it is easier to resize up than down.

The bottom of the pants are also sculpted to appear tight and scrunched, but I opted for some other Glamazon items in the form of the Over the Knee black boots by Storm Schmooz. I went on a buying spree at ::69:: tonight before I started taking pics, I think I bought a lot of hair lol. I got some of the new – maybe all I’m not sure, and a few others I didn’t already have.

They have returned somewhat to their original kind of style, which is a great thing, because I needed more hat hair. I am also in love with the options, one such option is that the hair I am wearing in black has either regular sides or cornrows option, very cool. I also managed to edit one of the hats shown, to now have SS instead of SN, but I didn’t want to confuse the issue – and yes it then lead me to make SS drawing pins to hold up my polaroids.

LeLutka went swimwear crazy this latest release, and the mix is extremely flattering for all shapes and sizes, easily modified sculpties, and really lovely prints and colours.

Usually when showing a store that has skins, I feature that skin also, but today I misbehaved. This is Nadia, a new skin by Staged. It was created to be a darker skin line, and the light tan I am wearing in the main pics is just a little bit darker than you would be used to with a light tan.

The body is just gorgeous, and look *squeels* lower back dimples. My ex used to say that those were the sexiest thing on a woman, I think he used to add aside from him, but then what do you expect, he is a man after all. Showing a few make up options on the pics, the make up goes from natural blends to highly dramatic nightwear. The shadow is very metalic and almost shimmery which is just great, the lips again are a mix, and more matte than glossy, but the combination definitely works.

You get two options with the skins, shaved and not shaved, and the size of these bikinis and others I have been featuring lately, it’s a bonus to have choice, or have I said that already :P.

    Studded

    Studded2
    Studded

J’s has released NEW and Sexy Studded Wedges. Black and white being the theme of the shoot, well with ten colour options on these stunning shoes, it was easy and painless. The Newish hud for the shoes, have preset skin tones, with darker lighter options, making it much easier to change, also with the signature toenail and toering options.

The wrapped around ankle straps are wide but totally soft looking, I love the idea of that, soft leather being worked and cobbled into the beautiful wooden wedge. The outfit I am wearing in the first pic is from Addict , a store owned by the talented and really lovely Kianna Noel . The PYT Tunic has a sensational 80’s vibe belt, with the press stud buttons at the back.

I used to have a corset elasticated belt very similar back in the day, and the annoying part was smarty pants people thinking unsnapping them all at once was funny, it wasn’t because after hours of wear you felt like you just lost part of your body lol. Thankfully in SL that is not possible, and the big bow is just accentuating the small waist the tight belt alludes too. The Tunics come in a rainbow of colour options, and the leggings are also part of the set, which is way handy, can never have too many of those.

I love how deep these are cut at the front, but not even close to how much I love the plunge at the back lol. The next outfit is the Kare Shirts set from Bare Rose, just as sexy and very evocative of nights late in someone elses office. As usual you get lots of options, the ties and shirts come in many colours, and the prim detailing is just awesome, they come with adorable little shorts, but would look fabulous with a tight skirt or even longer pants.

The two styles of hair I am wearing are newish to Junwave, both really lovely uppydo’s that I couldn’t pass up in both bangs choices, the price on both seperately is less than one wig usually costs, so it was a no brainer. Also the rectangle glasses from HOC a steal at the price and colour change on click, they are fabulous frames too and sculpted, so no alpha tricks.

The skin I am wearing today is from Dutch Touch, it is Dune and just delicious, the whole skin has been reworked for this release except for the feet and hands, the mouth is bow shaped and just too kissable, I could see developing a really bad habit of sucking on your bottom lip if these were yours rl. The eyebrows are an incredible selling point for this skin, the thick brow adds a very distinct touch to the face, and apparently by request that has been changed to give a thinner option , but in my opinion wearing them as intended is what makes them so striking.

Iki has been working her way through different stages of process with her skins, and each release has been individual , and these ones are just really stunning, check them out as soon as you can, the make ups are just lovely, I am really glad Iki added more colour to her lips in this one.

    Laq

With the recent updating of the skins at Laq, I couldn’t wait to take them for a spin, but also wanted to show the clothing that I think is just super duper.

Claudia is one of the hair base skins, you get the option of with and without in the pack, and at the moment the prices on the fat pack are just great, allowing those that had the older version to update without a huge expense, and those that never had them before get a bargain indeed.

The overall detailing to the body, is beautiful, the attention to detail is evident, especially in things like the elbows and backs of knees…which for some reason I am drawn too all the time on skins. The bum is FABULOUS , the perfect bum for swimwear this summer. I am actually showing off the body in the White Lingerie set from LAQ also, it is a silvery white, that has a great thong style .

Just as I was about to get up on my VR Posestand tonight to shoot the LAQ items I had planned I got the notice of the New hair release, and OH MY GOODNESS, if you have need for hair to go with your hair base skins, this is the YUMS. I couldnt resist getting all three styles, I am showing Kira and Claudia in this post, but also Tasha is a must have.

Speaking of Must Haves everything I am showing today is…the Denim Dresses are fantastic, I thought they looked really nice in the store, but on is a hundred times better. Denim dresses like this were huge in the mid to late 80’s , everyone had a denim fetish back then, and these dresses immortalise that look in such a dynamic way. The denim texture is fantastic and the colour options are excellent.

Teamed up with the Cypa boots from Enkythings the look is wicked. Also superbly textured are the loose shirts, another item that had appeal on the rack, but up close and personal they are just wonderful. The detailing on the texture is kind of country, but without being overly so, which actually makes them even hotter. The shadow details on these shirts is excellent, giving a realism to the design.

I am wearing the magnificent Mo Pants from Miel, ahhhh another item where the ads don’t do them justice, and in no way am I saying the ads aren’t wonderful, all Miel ads are, but these pants are off the hook gorgeous. For such a casual concept they have such a classy stylish quality when worn. The sculptie work is excellent and they have the same adorable buttons as their jane shoes I am also wearing in the darks range.

As you can see the make up range on the Claudia skin will never leave you wanting, there is a choice for all needs, and the lipstick is lush, I really think Claudia is a very sexy skin, from not just the body perspective , but the character of the face itself. Try on the demos , especially when trying on the demos of the hair base hair… the two combined are gorgeous, and while you are there, if you happen to see Mela the store Manager , tell her hi from Sasy.
