A Valiant isn’t just a Car
Ok in my house it was a car lol, our first car actualy, mum was a late starter to driving and she got given a Valiant (TANK), the back door used to fly open when you turned corners, I almost didn’t make it past ten. But we did love that car, and You are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE Valiant the Mens Clothing Line by Wavie Haller.
The other day when I was at Truths sim, writing that whopping great big post, I was chillin by the fountain and watching the people TP in and out, ok I was trying to write, but I get sidetracked easily lol. Anyway, this guy TP’d in, and I know some of you know this and some don’t, but I used to manage a store that sold lots of menswear in SL , and RL actually.
So I was interested in this guys look as soon as he rezzed, first thing that caught my pisces eye was his necklace actualy, then his shirt and wooohoo it had a prim pocket *grins evily* so I went into inspect on his shirt and necklace and realised oooo same creator, but wait OOOOO its HIM!.
I was very impressed, then more so when his partner TP’d in and she was dancing up a storm lol, her names Ruby, and they make such a cute couple. I didn’t say anything but did copy paste his name somewhere for later reference-mind you of course I have no clue where. But last night when I was taking some pics I remembered Wavie and Ruby and looked him up by memory, thank goodness not many Wavie’s in SL and only one partnered to a Ruby :o).
I TP’d over and to my despair his store was closed for renovations BUT DAYUM! what incredible renovations, oh and of course he did the building too -muttters about too much talent. I IM’d him and told him I stalked him lol – pays to be honest when your doing such things. We had a chat and I found out that his store was opening today, and so I could make you all drool he was kind enough to drop some goodies on me.
Ladies not only are you going to want to dress your men in Valiant you are going to want to ‘borrow’
half their wardrobe once you do, they are no transfer though lol so you will have to buy them yourself, or of course charge your man a finders fee lol.
This first combo is the Incredibly Hot Long Gentleman’s Coat, a stunning use of prims and texture to make this long coat that has the awesome undone belt and OMG toggle buttons, aren’t they adorable.There are two fits to the coat prims but alas none small enough for me :o(, I did mention that to Wavie though so you never know what might happen in the future with those, they are mod though but you would have to edit seperate parts, and I don’t have good enough skills for that.
The pants are the Grey Executive Pants, which I love for many reasons first of all that they are grey, and secondly the style is yum. A very distinguished but stylish combo, the shoes are the City Walk by ShinyThings, which I just adore as mens dress shoes, and they come with socks lol. The hair is Tynan by Diversity hair, one of the newest mens styles and super cute.
This is a look for a night out, without being too formal but definitely stylish.
This next look you can “Borrow” :P, This is the Open Leather Bikers Jacket, and its delish, Wavie definitely has an incredible assortment of jackets as you will see and so worth getting as many as you can.I loves the detailing on this jacket, the open look works fab for with or without shirts, the sculptie cuffs and the collar fit well for either size avatar.
The jeans are the United Jeans, fantastic torn and sewn up again jeans with great pockets I adore, you will see why in a pic coming up, they have a great worn in look and the colour of the denim is fab.
The hair is Nigel hair again by Diversity hair and one of my fav mens styles, I am still nagging for the female version to happen. The Pullback is by ETD and Im not even sure if its still called that, it was couture originaly and then that changed, but either way its a gorgeous style.I am wearing the Red Bomber Bikini underneath from Renegade, by Kaejo DaSilva, I love his bomber sets, and there are wonderful colours to choose from with skirts and leggings as well, and he looks fab in it himself lol this post killed me.
The adorable shoes are the Polina shoes by Dela, incredibley chunky clog style wedges, the colours are beautifully rich, and the contrast of red and black in these ones works a treat. I love the strap across the foot and the buckle detailing on these, over all with spring on its way these are a Must Have.
This next combo is what Wavie was almost wearing the day I inspected him – lol it sounds so grotty. This shirt is called the Ruby Striped Ripped Pocket Shirt, and I so want to know the story behind that.The style is gorgy and the torn pocket just adds some fun to the whole look. The detailing on the top of the shirt is lovely too with asian characters near the collar.
My favourite part to this shirt is the un-tucked finish, that belt you see isn’t actually part of the pants at all, its actually part of the shirt, HOW COOL IS THAT!, it adds great finish again to the United Jeans.
The necklace you will see better in another pic , is the one that I zoomed in on…and its adorable…BEGS for a Girly Sized one. More Incredible shoes from Dela, are the =Jape Stern= Shuzzle Boots, how cute is that name. The style of these is great, and the overall sculptie work is just divine, colours and textures look like really soft suede, me loves, Dela has a great range of Mens shoes/boots so you need to go and check those out, DEMO’s available also in all colours which is fabulous.
Another incredibly popular mens style from Diversity hair is Chad, over and over I used to say ‘It’s all about the Chad’ because so many New Residents would choose it as their free hair of choice, and I actually said it so many times out loud I even remembered where the line was from…do you know 😛 ? – write it in comments if you do lol.
Ok now a dressy uppy style I can “Borrow” WOOOT. This is the fabulous Double Breast Cardigan, and I love this so much. The style is gorgeous and the texture divine velvety yummyness -probably isnt velvet at all but has that look to it.The style is as I said GORGEOUS! and looks incredible dressy, or casual, The cuffs and collar fit well again on both sexes -thank goodness or I’d cry.
Coming up to winter for me I am going to love wearing this Cardi, and the other fab thing about it is the great openness of the collar , so that scarfs and what not show beautifully.The jeans are the United jeans, but I am wearing Jeans from Dela, which are the Forina jeans, really beautiful dark style denim, that kind of has an old aged look to it without being too worn looking – ok that made no sense really but like sepia does to pics . I am also wearing Devon Boots from Dela, these are divine ankle boots, with gold or silver zipper options, fabulous wedge heel, which isnt overly common in ankle boots like this one and just looks great. The texture again is amazing and they fit well to the ankle so prim cuffs on pants fit over them well.
The hair I have on is the Catherine style from AOHARU, a really lovely shaggy short cut, and on SALE at the moment for only 60L.
The Zipped Biker Jacket is another great “borrow”lol, again the leather is done superbly, and the detailing of the fastenings is really cool, looks great again with or without a shirt, I opted for without because I could :P.
Worn over a moderno shirt, the jacket has a casual feel to it but depending on your mood could be dressed up easily. The necklace is the Beach Rock Tooth necklace, and you can see in the pic close up that the detailing on this necklace, and why I must have it; is just YUMMY! – Begs again.I am wearing the Tabbypunk hair by CopyKat, hee hee this hair is too cute.
That headband even has bling, which is so funny as its so urban and the contrast of bling and urban is like too many degrees of seperation lol.
The shoes are Digit Darkes biker boots without the uppers.
A bit more preppy is the Striped Sweaters and Shirts, all on same layer but all layer options, these can again go from casual day to semi-dressy evening.
The colours are rich and lovely and again Wavie has done my favourite belt part at the bottom of the untucked version, this really is a unique way to finish off this look.
Its those finishing touches that really jump out at you at Valiant.
The boots are the Jape Stern Tucker boots from Dela, in brown and smoke shown in the close ups , again details and texture are great on these and the fit is wonderful, also of course removing uppers means they fit snugly under pants so you get shoes look and boots in one.I love love love this nautical combo – even if i couldn’t fit the prims to my legs :P, *tries to remember this is about him not me .
Either way the Skulled Jean Shorts were my first choice in the pants section, they are gorgeous and whats not to love, you have skullies, 3/4 length shorts and did I mention Skulls yet ?.I love how the cuffs are actually made on these, again its all about details. Not just a rolled up look, but actual clipped holders on the sides as you would love to have RL so they didnt keep unrolling…LOVE THAT!.
You can also see the Beach Rock Anklet and Bracelet which I sooo stole, that one I was able to make look a little not so big . The anklet attaches where the cuffs do so you might need to play with that , and unlike me dont attach to the upper leg because it doesnt move with you then .
I also adore the Frey White Sports Jacket, this is definitely a real sporty-mans jacket, its been through some hard knocks and still looks heavenly and soooo warm and snugly, great for days spent sailing , again a superb fit on us girly girls, and dont we just look so north shore like in this pic , all that matchy matchy look that rich people do *giggles* I guess north shore in the states would be Marthas Vineyard or the Hamptons, anyway its fun and fab.
I have on the Pink Bomber Bikini top from Renegade, love the shading on these and the rich colours. The hair is Jess the 1L fat pack at Diversity hair, which is just a fabulous ponytail and a barrrrrrrrrrrrrrgain.
Lastly, and then you can go buy up everything at Valiant, is the Open Bomber Jacket, its Grey *WIN* its Hot *WIN* and it fits Girls *WIN WIN* -any one else hear pinball sounds then.Another fantastic style jacket, as they all have been, this one has wonderful shading and the lighter colour allows you to mix layers of greys and blacks really well with it.
With all these incredible jackets why would you ever wear shirts again lol.The pants are the executive pants, which again look fantastic in this combo, and I am wearing the Tank by Popfuzz in black, only one of us could go shirtless, don’t want to fog up the screen – lmao even I cant believe I said that lol.
My hair is Samantha by AOHARU , and the shoes are the Polina again in black from Dela.

Ok so Valiant is open today and the build as I said is DIVINE , spacious and stylish, you will love shopping there, and TP in every guy you know because I am sure they will appreciate the heads up, as fabulous Mens Fashion like this is too rare in SL, and if you ever see Wavie and Ruby you wont have to inspect him now, I saved you the trouble and Ruby moves too much to inspect lol .

Please if you can take 2 minutes of your time to vote for this you will be doing so much to help stop content theft in SL.
Its a feature request to have a resize only option rather than Modify rights over objects. It would be an extra option available as well as modify.
Currently with Modify rights which are neccessary so you guys can fit poeples work onto your avs people can put malicious scripts inside them to copy the data and basically steal peoples hard work. Modify on Sculpty also allows the easy theft of UV maps. So please if you do anything in SL let it be to vote for this feature and you will be doing so much to protect the work of all your favourite designers!If you are the owner of a large group in SL then even better send this out to your group thankyou.

NEW Skins and Latex Yummies
Alessandra Pinklady of Alessandra has been working hard over the last few weeks to release a NEW skin called Stephanie, this is a High Resolution skin, and the detailing is 
wonderful.Alessandra has taken from her current line of skins and enhanced all the popular features of the skins, to bring about the latest Generation of skins for her store.
In the past I discussed the shiny to the body on her skins I had seen before, and that is alot more subtle in these latest skins.
The shading to the body is superb, and already a huge fan of her skills at shading and lighting on her latex that it just makes sense she would do it really well on skins too….I got to chat with Alessandra after my last post, and found that she made skins before latex, so all that practice on lighting and shading is what helped her get so skilled at it for the latex and it shows.
So far there are 15 Make-Ups and they cater to the really smokey eyes fans out there- you know who you are lol. I really love the eye shadows on these and the lips are full and detailed in colour but not overly matte or shiny. Make sure you grab the DEMOS and look at the whole body, its really well done.
I am wearing STRENGTH 3 by ETD one of the two styles Elika has released for RFL in her store in a selection of packs, all money goes to RFL and the style is gorgeous.
One important thing to note, is that this year like every year Elika has donation kiosks in her store, and EVERY linden you donate she will match it one for one, so if you are thinking of dropping some L’s on RFL that is the place to do it, your L’s will go further THANK YOU ELIKA!
Now for some more Latex Yummies from Alessandra, First pic is the Oriental combo, you get bra and halter top with the stunning pants, the texture is gorgeous and Alessandra has been doing alot of work with more detailed textures lately which is a real challenge with latex, but she does a magnificent job.Great thing about this set is the ability to wear the tops seperate with other pieces, maybe some dress pants or even leather. As usual the Oriental combo comes in a great range of colours to choose from or in a fat pack.
In all the pics I am wearing the NEW April Sandals from Insolence, these sculptie sandals are gorgeous, with their delicate straps and metal rings up the middle of the foot, these are a great sandal for the upcoming spring fashions, but also as they are so shiny and sexy, look wild with the latex which has gold/silver metal detailing too.They have a wonderful heel for dancing and I love love love the delicate straps with the tiny tiny buckle at the ankle SOOOOOO cute.
The second set is the Latex Chain Suit and Dress, OH MY GOODNESS! look at the cut outs with the chain linking and stretching the latex even tighter across your body…mmmmyummy.
Divine detailing of the chains, that would be so hard to do at the seams part of the texture , and the Micro Mini is superb, how I will manage to move without my latex shimmying up my body I …OOooo this is SL, SAFE ! *giggles*.
The Latex Chain Hot Suit is an incredible combo of the NEW Chain suit and the older Hot Suit that I love love love, you remember I posted on it before as my Shakira Suit lol. Well it just got even sexier.
Beautifully revealing, the dress part of this set is my favourite, for the fact of that little chained part on the hip I LOVE THAT. The fact that Alessandra has gone into the dress making too is just more reason to get over to her store and stock up.
This last set is the Neko Suit and Dress, I showed the dress recently in my Dark Eden post, and you can see again how divine it is in length and fit. The texture is superb on both the suit and the dress, and again as I said , Alessandra moving into more patterned textures has just enhanced her range and shown more of her talent.
All the skins shown in the pics are of course her own Stephanie skins, and you can see more of the detailing with her sexy latex, look at the back and stomach as just a teaser for the DEMOS you are going to want to try. When I came into SL I got so excited about many many things, like we all do. But one big squeel was over all the silks I saw running around the grid. I was so excited growing up in the 70’s I actualy had harem pants that I remember wearing to primary school -thats kindergarten to 6th class here.
But when I went to buy some silks the friend that brought me into world said ‘You can’t wear them” oh you can imagine the argument that happened for the next 2 hours after that statement, but it was explained- ok it was yelled, that Kajira wore silks in SL not regular girls playing dress-ups.
I was still really annoyed at the fact I couldn’t swan around pretending I was Jeannie, so “NOT” happy about that, but when I debated and came to realise that I wouldn’t want some random guy to tell me to kneel *LMAO* like to see them try actually… sadly the passion for the idea diminished…and yes I am fully aware that Kajira’s don’t only kneel etc etc – I am so pro-lifestyle choice so don’t even attempt to go there lol.
Anyway over the 2 years I have been in world I have, on the down low lol , purchased silks and had fun with them myself …but there are some fabulous silks out there and sometimes you just have to say ‘I know what I am, I know what I want , I wanna be Jeannie’ lol.
This is the latest Harem Set I have been lucky to be given by Zorena Deckard of Ookami Ningen, you see Zorena also is a lover of dressing up, she creates incredible items for herself to play in, and sometimes we are lucky enough that she sells them in her store.
Now whether you are Kajira or not, if you love pretty silks then this set is one to check out, the colours are rich and the texture is wonderful, I really adore the gold detailing and image at the bottom of the attachments.
You have two silks skirts options also which is fab, the sides only option, or the sides and front, the prims are sized to perfection, didn’t have to touch a thing YAY. My favourite part to this set is the asymetrical top, its just lovely and could be worn with dress pants or a long skirt of the non silk variety. There is just something really feminine about silks in any design and I am sure that is why so many girls love wearing them, and why creators enjoy making them.
Yesterday I found a NEW to me hair store, called CopyKat..how did I find it? hee hee Inspect is a wonderful device, fall in love with something made of prims right click on it on the person, and click more, then inspect, and then see creators profile and wooosh off you go shopping lol.
The hair I am wearing is DEIRDRA in black, a lovely style for this look, but overall just a really beautifully structured high pony, but its a bit more than that actualy, at the very top the hair is wrapped around the start of the pony and then coming from the wrap is a dynamic fishbone braid, before falling the rest of the way in a long straight ponytail, it has delicate wisps of hair from wrapped part and it just really is very attractive a style.
The style reminds me of my hairpiece days in the 80’s lol I used to have an incredibly long tail, and would wrap my hair around it to hide the fact it was an extension, funniest thing ever was once at a club in a rush I went passed a guy and my tail got caught on his shirt button.
I was caught bad too it was funny as hell, but he tried so hard to delicately untangle me and was so upset, then i just yanked really hard from the hair part and he freaked out , until i laughed and told him it wasn’t real, poor guy I think I aged him at least a year- don’t you just love my stories :p .The skins I am wearing are the Arcane Ghost in Vivid Mystical, seriously love the Ghost…and the Wonderful Pandora Saucy from Adam n Eve which totally brings out my naughty side lol, and has incredible back detailing and yummy as all get out feet that when wearing not alot of anything is a fabulous skin to wear.

The perfect Lady Jaydie
My wonderful friend Jaydie was honored last week, when the talented Myllie Writer of Persona named a complete set after her.
The reason I say a complete set and not just dress or gown, is because there are so many incredible pieces in this set, and so many variations, to call it one or the other doesn’t really work.
Jaydie is an incredible Lady, she has such warmth and vibrancy about her..she touches the hearts of all her friends and family all the time, so this is no surprise to me at all that someone would want to immortalise her this way.
You may have met Jaydie at either PhatCats which she used to help Manage or more recently ETD which she has worked at for some time now and recently got promoted WOOOOOT! same week this dress came out, so it was definitely Jaydie week and totaly deserved.
I wanted to show her in the dress first, and she was overjoyed that Myllie did this it was hard to not have her float off while taking these pics.
The three pics of Jaydie are taken on my Octoberwerks Paradise Rug, its very handy having one object in your inventory that turns into dozens of incredible settings- I love my rug.
Here you see the lovely Jaydie in the black version of Jaydie. The elegant, overall richness to the fabric is divine, and doesnt she look fantastic…the set is so her, thats why I am so happy too, because Myllie really captured Jaydie’s style in this creation.
Jaydie is wearring hair styles by ETD , and her lovely skin is Pandora and her shoes are the fabulous Volar heel both from Adam n Eve, Jewelry is both Alienbear Designs and Muse.
Not only do you get these three wonderful length skirts but there are so many incredible pieces in the set for you to mix around, You get all layers of everything, as well as those incredible stockings that on the back are detailed with small patterns running up the leg- fabulous to wear with lots of other items you have.
You also get the cute as floral brooches that attach at waist and bodice, and have seperate attachment points so you are able to wear both at same time. Then oh and how I love this, Myllie also included the sash as a seperate layer, so that means you are able to do as I did with the Wine and Black, MERGE them into another Gown/Dress entirely….I LOVE THAT!.
I am showing the different length of each colour, and then of course when hunting through all the layers; realised I can mix the two, the purple and olive would look equally fabulous together.
This set is just gorgeous, and it also means more sashes woooohoooo, I am wearing Arcane Fudge Smoke skins that I just love love love.
The hair is the stunning UpDo Lyrica by Diversity Hair, which is so pretty and has kiss curls which I just adore. My shoes are the Bonita heels by Enkythings.
The stunning Gem Deco Jewelry is from Essentia, the placement of the pendants was just perfect for this set and the colour Gemstones available all matched up with the colours of the set.
You need to go and check out all of the incredible Jaydie sets at Persona as soon as you can and just love them like we do, make sure you spend the time to look around as Myllie has so many treasures that are just gorgeous.

Eve’s Revenge Mwahahahahaha
What does a woman do when wrongly booted from her happy place? She skins the damm snake that made it happen, and makes SHOOOOES!Ok maybe Eve didn’t exactly do that, but Tesla has. These NEW Snakeskin shoes are just fabulous, the texture work is incredible as snakeskin isnt an easy achievement on any surface.
They are available in the two colours shown, and just think if you’re a believer of the Garden of Eden this is your way of fighting back for Eve lol.

Once upon a time there was a fashion show. This fashion show went for four hours *giggles* I kid you not, if you were there you will remember, and if you weren’t you missed out on one of the funniest days.
The best thing about the show was the audience, don’t misunderstand me the fashion was fab too, but when your dealing with FOUR hours, the clothes get a little blurry and if it hadn’t been for the mix of designers, press and shoppers it would not stick in my memory bank.
Stick it has too, I can remember where I was standing, who was sitting where, and it was one of those incredible days where you end up meeting and putting faces to names. The best thing also is that those I met that day, I still hold very dear, and it was actually one of the first times I read someones profile and flipped out lol.
The profile was that of Arielle Ceres, the reason for the flipping was that she had in her profile something so familiar to me, and one of the reasons why I just had to be in second life-besides to Salsa.
You see Arielle had come from being a content creator for The Sims, and I was a huge Sims nut, especially for downloading from the amazing talent that had nothing to do with the creator of the game…her site is Sim Chic and I had downloaded many gowns from there in the past, so the idea that she was now in second life just made me squeel – and I think I did that in her IM box, LOUDLY.
Arielle has a broad mix of clothing at her store in world Chic Boutique, and there are too many gaps in between her designing here for my liking *makes cranky face*.
But what she does have you will love, and right now even more so, as Chic Boutique is having a FORMAL SALE!.
ALL her gowns are slashed to a crazy 250L, and you just have to have to go and grab them all.
Minerva the 3 tiered gown has always been one of my favourites, I always get compliments on this when I wear it. It really is just divine when you want to stand out from the crowd at a special event. I am wearing Gwen by TM Hair, and Bonita heels by Enkythings. The LiquidSkin is from Arcane, such a delightful tone to wear with this creamy golden gown.
This lingerie I had to point out is also on SALE at only 75L, and one of the things besides Lingerie that Chic Boutique creates so well is Lingerie, the pieces are always incredible and you will feel like a Princess in any of the choices you make. This is the Bronzed Jeweled Lingerie and the colour and finish is just superb, and oh my the panties are so little.The hair is Astrid by Analog Dog which as you may have worked out by now I LOVE LOVE LOVE.
I am not sure if all the lingerie is on sale or only a select few pieces on the right side of the entrance, but whatever is grab it while you can.
This last Gown, is the Sugar Gown. A latest Release and already on SALE so your really blessed. Sugary Pink yummyness, the full flexi skirt is divinely trimmed with silver, as is the incredible bodice of the gown, you will also love the incredible movement as you dance in this gown.
The hair is Cameron from Random , a beautiful sideswept longer style, that is elegant and can be worn casual as well.
I have so many Gorgeous Gowns from Chic Boutique and I have blogged them all in the past, but I really want you to just go out and grab them all for yourself, they are on SALE so dont delay.

‘Its not a House its a Home’ part two / Whopping Great BIG Post
Truth Hawks of TRUTH Designs, just rebuilt his sim, and I am LOVING it. If you’re Australian like we are, or you are a lover of Aussie movies, you will understand the title of this and the last post….if not then you have to learn :oP.Ok Ok you may work it out anyway, when I start going on and on about how Truth hasnt just set out to build a mall around his own Beautiful Main Store, but has invited friends he cares about to join him on his sim.
In doing so he has created a ‘Home’ for them, and you can feel it. The sim is stunning in its design, but there is a definite energy surrounding it that makes you want to stay. As you can see I tpd back to write this post sitting by the wonderful fountain in the courtyard.
The sim is very italian piazza, and thats such an aussie thing to do too, you really have to know what we are all about down here to get that lol – looks around for some Gelato.The stores all over the sim are some very very familiar names , and a few NEW ones too including of course Arcane, the fabulous Aussie Skinner.
I am so glad I got a New pc this week, just to be able to enjoy the spectacular beauty of Sweet Sorrow, and omg everything rezzed for me *sniffles* and the waterrrrr omg the water.
But lets get to the goodies shall we, the skin I am wearing in all shots is of course from Arcane. The first picture is The Gypsy Coat by TRUTH and the incredible Loose fit Cargo Pants.
This coat is fabulous, not just in colour, and there are others..but the overall style and detailing is just YUMMO!. I love the open style of it the most as it allows you to show off not just one item of clothing but lots, or in this case my fab new tummy lol.You can of course wear it without the prims, but look at the great fit of the coat, didn’t have to edit a thing, I LOVE when that happens. The belts is fabulous, the structure of it is great, it really really looks like a belt should when unbuckled.
The lapel and hoody colour is divine and rich in contrast with the fabulous deep cherry of the coat , it definitely is a great choice for daytime casual moving into nightime dressy. The Loose Fit Cargo pants were a Must Have for me, they are grey, so I really don’t have to go into that lol. but the shading and length is just fab, with their prim cuffs for that rolled up look, and my favourite part is the side waistband, I love when pants do up a bit to one side, its just a little sexier.
The fab and quirky hair is Lilo, a NEW release by Truth in his hair section and OMG the hair this man is creating is just fantasorgasamastic – Truth gets a new made up word. The shoes are the Heel Strap Platforms by ETD.
Savvy? is also there another well known Aussie, Dakota Buck… as many of you know Dakota has joined the team over at Armidi, which is hell exciting, but unfortunately means no newness for Savvy? well I for one am all about the oldness too, and for me today two sets I am going to show are brand new to moi.This is the Eve of Destruction set, and its just all degrees of splendid. For one it has a SYSTEM SKIRT – quickly puts it in the right category so I don’t forget – The divine Pencil skirt is, well divine lol. I love pencil skirts and again this one is done properly, fantastic length, shading and design.
Dakota’s use of not the norm colour wise is what I adore about her creations, many couldnt envision that kind of yellowy colour in a set like this one, but its what made me buy it in the first place lol ok second I lie, we all know it was the skirt.
One thing I will ALWAYS hands down commend Dakota for, and strongly stand by my claim she was the ‘first’ to do it, is her implementing of layers. Ok she might not have been, but she was definitely the first to grab everyones attention for doing it lol. It definitely is those little things that make her shine though, not just by seperately packaging all additional layers in the one set, so you dont get confused…but also the additions of things like glove layers for sleeve lengtheners, and in this top that looks fab.
The Military collared crop jacket is stunning as well, and you will get lots of use out of that in other outfits I am sure, as well as the tights added to the mix to create a complete ‘look’. The hair is Dorothy by TRUTH and not only is it a fabulous style but again I am so in love with the Browns 2 pack, the colours are scrumptious. The shoes are the Fujin Saena heels from Enkythings that I spoke about yesterday ALL money from the sale of these lovely shoes will go to Charity, so please buy them
Artilleri is also at Sweet Sorrow WOOOT! and though Antonia isnt an Aussie she is like coming home as well, there is something comforting when you see Artilleri at a sim, its like a nice little stamp of approval that the sim is good apples.
This Lingerie is Deanna polka dots, and I have had it for a while and made sure it was in the store there. I have been dieing to wear it – hee hee I am so bad – The style is typical Vintage Gorgeousnessness, which Antonia does incredibly well.
You do have with or without Garter options and the style of panties is just YUM!, teamed up with some divine fishnets this set is definitely provocative
.The hair another NEW style by TRUTH , is Polly and I love love love this style, you only saw the front of it in the Arcane Skins post, but now you can see how delightful this uppy-do really is.
The shoes are the Nana heels from Enkythings, which you know I love bunches especially for shooting lingerie, and you do get to see some more of the body of the divine Arcane skin.
Dutch Touch and Fuse are also at Sweet Sorrow, The top I am wearing is from the Cam(O)Lis set from Dutch Touch, a set that I blogged a long while ago on Appearance Mode, great style tank, which you get three colours of in the set…I really like the high back of this style and the detailing around the empire line and hemline.
The pants are the by FUSE, fabulous cut of pants and the belt detailing is done really well. I adore the colour of them so they were a Must Have!. I am also wearing the cute Bloom Freebie Ring from FUSE thats in the store, the Hair again by TRUTH Is the Yummy Rachel Hair, the headband is change on click, but I did tint it to reach the right blue I needed.
Heel strap Platforms are from ETD and look how great the Arcane Ghost skin looks in this combo, as does the skin in all the pics as they are all as I said, but I am loving Ghost more and more each time.
Have I mentioned to you yet how much of a perve Truth is lol, well its true. If I moved my hands you would see its true just by these adorable Border Line Crop tops…there are four in the pack and they really are pervey, but really well made and great colours.
Would look great over your favourite tanks too as a closed in shrug look- why I say LOUDLY layers of everything even if it doesnt make sense- these are only on the shirt layer though but still I have stacks of tanks on the undershirt layer, as I am sure you do too.
LIX is also at Sweet Sorrow, the store owned by Ryker Beck who did a lot of the posters in Truths new Store Build, Ryker started off making jewelry and has now moved into clothing, with a small so far line of separates…and with all her PS skills I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in the future.These are her Essentials Corduroys in * hee hee * Ghost, couldn’t resist them. They are really well designed and I don’t think I had a really good pair of white casual pants., I do now though.
The shoes are the Nana heels in white to match of course – and will someone explain to me that no white after labor day thing, seriously I see that in movies so much and have no clue why?- from Enkythings.
Another Aussie designer is the owner of ROT Designs, a very eclectic range of clothing and accessories, this one jumped out at me though, done all one one layer, its very very funna…I used to wear vests alot in the late 80’s and always stole ties whenever I could lol -not from stores silly but people.This is the Broder Vest in Violet,and i just like its overall Geeky-ness, so I just had to add some glasses by the fabulous Prim-Optic store.
These glasses are called Sleek and are so many kinds of cool. You might think they are just glasses but they are so much more. Each pair comes with click to colour change the frames and lenses separately, yes you can also tint the glass but colour it also. Then you actually have a built in radar that tells you range of avatars in your proximity.
They also have built in flight assist, which for me who lives as high as I can, is a great tool to have, especially as whenever I delete part of my house and fall 600M its always the damm home setting piece *blushes* told you I don’t edit well. They also have the ability to be worn normally, or on the top of your head, for those that like to keep their glasses on at all times. They are very very cool.
What should I find in the little shed in the garden at Sweet Sorrow but Sand Shack Surf, another incredibly talented girl is Emma Gilmour *moves my glass of milk to the side just in case its catching, and her pieces in her store are just fun favourites even if you dont have them yet.This is the Frills Trim Cardigan, and the style is just delish, the length is great for wearing over your favourite pants or in this case Loose Fit Cargo pants from TRUTH Designs. See not only do their stores go so well together but so do their clothes.
Made on the Jacket layer this fab Cardi will look great as is or with any layers you choose to wear under it. The opening at the bottom will allow for a nice splash of colour on your favourite t shirt or tank. I have on one of the Great NEW shorter Unisex styles from TRUTH called Danny 2, that is at the moment only 1L for the Fat Pack so hurry up because it will go to regular price soon.
Lastly, and again a Savvy? item, is the Dear Stephanie, WOW, it looked great in the picture but WOWZA on the body. Everything about this set is stunning.The blouse is a divine grey colour with that incredible collar, the cropped vest is also a wonderful addition to the set as a whole or worn seperately. But the absolute LOVE came for the Jodhpurs, OMG look at them, take my word for it they are BUM-tacular!.
I love love love the realism of the fabric, real joddys are tight tight tight, and they are made with that freaky space age polycottowoolystuffs thats probably been nuclear heated, and then sent to the antartic to test on polar bears during mating season, whatever they do to it, its TIGHT!. Well Dakota managed to get that look spot on, and my bum thanks her for it.
Again the additional love in the form of sculptie sleeves, and then traveling down my pants, if you can get passed my bum you’re doing better than I did. The set is finished off with fabulosu Opaque stockings, you know the really thick private school ones- why oh why in this country would you ever make kids wear such things when its HOT, barbarians- but for this set they are spot on perfect- sorry had to have a tanty for a sec, us public schoolies had to wear them too sometimes.
I went with two looks with the footsies, the first being the Metal Pinson boots by Enkythings, as they have an equestrian look to them in their sleek lines, so suited the pants well. The second being the Diva heels by Tesla which I love for this outfit when I took off the stockings and blouse it had such a carefree look to it, very very northshore, but with sensible shoes :p.
The hair oh my the hair, is the Paris style by TRUTH and I am so in lust with this hair, the hat/beanie/floppy thing is just gorgeous, and look how divine the whole ensemble goes together. The hat is colour change on click and its staying black on mine lol I LOVE ITTTT!
Remember all the Gorgeous Liquid Skins shown in this Huge post are by Arcane, and make sure you dont miss out on the LTD Opening skin pack or the 3 fab 1L fat packs of hair this weekend , but save all your lindens because you need to buy everything in this post .

‘It’s not a house its a Home ” Part One

SKINS SKINS SKINS Droools, Stand back everyone there is a New Skinner in town, an Aussie to be exact and a real life friend of Truth Hawks.
His name is Ignite Nightfire and Ignite is what he is going to do it you, a spark that will grow and grow and grow, until your so hot! you wont know what to do with your cam, but look at yourself.
The store is called Arcane which means obscure, secret, mysterious. Which can be found thankfully on the Sweet Sorrow sim, which I am going to go into more detail about in this and the next post.
First off you have to be FAST! for a limited time only, Ignite has been so generous for Easter and has a 5 pack of skins in his store for FREE! The LTD Opening skin Pack, has all of the delicious tones in one, and the make up is just divine.Also in the pack you get a face light and brows but that is only a teaser of what is available when you purchase one of the incredible Liquid Skins from Arcane.
The skins come in five tones. Caramel, Creme,Fudge,Ghost and Latte…seriously if it wasn’t for the Ghost I would be sure Ignite was hungry when he named the, and you are going to want to eat them up yourself.
There are Four Make Up ranges in all tones, and they are Colours, Galaxy,Smoked and Vivid. I have shown each make-up in each tone and then doubled up on the Vivid, as its so dramatic seeing it in Ghost and Latte.
What are my favourites? I dont have one because seriously I love every make up and every single tone in this skin, the Ghost is INCREDIBLE, I have always liked the idea of Goth/Vamp skins but they are hard to do without losing something in the shading and not ending up sickly looking…there are some incredible Goth/Vamp skins in SL definitely dont get me wrong. but something about the way Ghost is done is just right for us tan loving folks.
The detailing on this skin is just superb; and the face OMG the face, look at my lips. I don’t know if you want to kiss me, but I want to kiss me *giggle fits* we so need more mirrors in SL, or someone neeeeds to make that animation of fake kissing, you know the one, where you run your own hands down your back and what not lol.
The first thing that I noticed about these skins is the ‘Healthy’ look they have and the overall outdoorsy tones, even Ghost looks healthy. But they really have that glow about them that makes you look well treated, and seriously if you treat yourself to these skins you will be so all about that.Also when you buy an Arcane skin, you not only get brows and lights, but you also get HAIR from TRUTH *squeels* a Shape , omg omg annnnnnd LASHESSSSSS! seriously as Ignite says and I second, the only things you need once you buy an Arcane skin is shoes and clothes, but if you TP home really fast you dont even need those, but you wont want to and I will go into that in the next part of this post.
The hair in this pic is the latest release from TRUTH and isn’t I dont think the one in the pack, but GORGEOUS so Yummy , and its called Polly. The loose curls and sideswept bangs are just divine.
All I can say is GET TO ARCANE , GET THE LTD Opening pack , GO HOME, GET NAKED and love yourself for half an hour in the right sun setting, then RUN RUN RUN back to Arcane and BUY BUY BUY ! Bossy aren’t I ? :oP .
NOTE: the lashes I am wearing in the pics arent from Arcane, so the make-up around the edge of the eyes will be a bit different without them, but thats why we Demo :oP.

I want to be Joan Collins
I have had this incredible dress sitting waiting to be shared for too long, Gentle Creature is a recent release from Big Booty Big Money (BBBM), and it totaly tickles my Dynasty- oh yes I have one, and I bet if you looked or admitted to it you would too 😛 .
This creation is just divine, with its over the top puffed out sleeves, and the incredible feathery fur embelishment on the right sleeve, its all sorts of Joan Collins. When Dynasaty was in full swing I adored her, I also adore her real life sister too, Jackie – Hollywood Wives was the first non kids book I ever read, at um 13 lol.
This dress has all the makings of a magnificent events dress, as I said the sleeves are just incredible, but look at the delish ways you can wear the dress. With both sleeves, without sleeves and with one sleeve, this dress keeps on giving.
I swear I want to make a whole new category for System Skirt Love , this is another case of a designer getting it sooo right.
The shading and length, the texture itself, all of that goes into making system skirts work well.
I am going to too, which means some older posts may appear on the feed,because I found out editing does that, but you will survive I’m sure.
I wanted to draw your attention to the without sleeves pic in green, there is something so sensual about that option, the one thin strap just draws your eyes to the no strap, which with this style of dress looks to me like I am in the process of taking my clothes off, which Joan did sooo well, lol.
There is also a brown version of the Gentle Creature Dress, and I don’t know why, but every time I take pics of all colours I seem to lose one , and I loved that one so much, as its a divine Golden brown which worked fabulously with Tesla Leopard Jane shoes (deserves credit even if you don’t see it ).
In the green I am also wearing Tesla leather Vixens in Avocado– I love where Tesla draws her inspiration for her colours from with her shoes. The hair is Laynie from Bewitched hair, and the tight at top and feathery fullness at the ends style was just perfect, also named after one of our favourite people Laynie Link.
In the black Gentle Creature Dress I am wearing Grable hair by Ingenue, love love love this style, its so incredibly structure just like real hair had to be to create this look. Shoes are the Classy Grey Strap Heels by Digital Dragon Designs, as the dress isnt black black these worked very well and are as the name suggests classy.
The blue Gentle Creature Dress inspired some playfulness with the Babycakes Hair by Tami McCoy of TM Hair, I love how the tails fan out on this style, and all those heavenly bangs allow it to look dressy as well. I am also wearing the Verve blue heels by Maitreya, the style of these shoes is divine and the tan sole or black sole options is fab.
In the Divine Purple Gentle Creature Dress– and yes I said Divine and Purple together lol- I am wearing the Careless style by TM Hair, and the yummy evening Black stitched Silver bag from House of Nyla, this bag is too cute, and has attachments for both hands in case you wear rings.
Lastly the White Gentle creature Dress, this is a very silvery white, which I adore as you know. The shoes are the Volar heels in silver from Adam n Eve,I love how the texturing is done on these, and now I have wind light lol they are even Yummier. The hair is the latest Whispers from Gurl 6 that is on special in the fat pack for a crazy 100L and is just YUMMY.
The skin I am wearing in all the pics is the Kevin Pale by Minnu Model Skins a fabulous eye make up skin with pale lips allowing the colour to come from the dresses.
