Hair Fair 2026 – Aeone
Aeone’s booth at Hair Fair is full of goodies, I was finding it very hard to decide what I was going to grab, I am still wanting the NY Suit of Armor helmet, just because it exists. This hat was giving me Juggernaut that needed some love feelings, and I love that. Kind of a don’t mess with me, but if you do mess with me, be kind. I hope everyone is ♥. I am definitely feeling it from the messages about the event, and people I have met there. This hat has a hud that provides so many colours and even some polka dot prints, it is the summer of polka dots apparently. As it is unisex you can have a lot of fun with these caps, and the whole focus your attention here aspect of it is lovely….I do really need to take another look at that helmet.
Hair Fair is open until June 14th and ALL purchases made at the event donate to Wigs for Kids, Exclusives and previous releases. Not all stores have previous releases out, but so many do, so it gives you a real taste of what the stores have created over time, and some things you may have missed that donate with each purchase, a great way to get it all in at once.

Hair Fair 2026 – Mina Hair & The Little Bat
I am enjoying myself dressing based on my hair choices this past week. Hair Fair makes that possible, and all the efforts by everyone to help Wigs for Kids just makes it more pleasurable to be part of. This style by Mina Hair had me feeling very Bratz Doll, with a hint of Monster High.
The Joan hair is a half up pigtails style, and the bangs are optional. I really like the bangs a lot, and can see myself using them with other hair in future. The Little Bat had these Horn Clips in their booth that while not made for the hair, were not moved at all when wearing them, they are a perfect match for each other.
The whole look gave me more reasons to go with another set of super high platform shoes by Breathe and the skirt and top by Cynful, the skirt has matching panties, and was a close enough look to being bloomery, which always makes me happy. The decal options are awesome and with PBR it looks amazing.

Hair Fair 2026 – Exile and Lock & Tuft
I love these goggles by Lock & Tuft at Hair Fair, they are so cute, and fun, and have so many options…at first before putting on the HUD I thought I was going to put together a whole Tank Girl kind of look, and then when I realised that I could control all parts and tint like a dream, I thought, this could just be a fun accessory with a 70’s – 80’s style. The rims even light up and move about in a good subtle way, so if the lights go out, I can get my Disco on. The goggles worked perfectly with the latest Hair Fair hair by Exile…it has volume, it has a fluffy kind of layers cut that we all wanted in the 80’s. I could so totally be a lead singer’s girlfriend in this look, and my leading Man is Mel and he makes me swoon on the daily ♥
Exile has done what Exile does, and changed his vendor ad layout, and I really like the impact of these new ones, they look so bright and attention grabbing. Also changed recently how he is offering his hair packs, returning to individual colour packs with an all in one package also, giving people a lower price point if only interested in one colour grouping, which is great. This hair includes the styling options for left, right, in front and behind shoulders. Any reason I can wear these platform shoes by Coco is a great reason to have, and this outfit just had me so happy and it was all the Goggles and the Hair that made it so.

Hair Fair 2026 – Truth Collective – Litterbug
I mentioned the other day that I celebrated my 20th anniversary in Second Life last month. It is honestly pretty amazing when you consider, I originally came here just to salsa dance one time. Instead, I ended up modelling for a store on my very first day, started working at a region with a mall on my second, and Second Life just completely took over my life.
Over the last two decades, I have been aware of people raising full families. I’ve heard children playing in the background of voice calls, and been part of endless conversations about schools, first boyfriends or girlfriends, and all sorts of major life happenings. For years, I waited for Whimsy’s kids to finally get old enough to join us for one massive shopping extravaganza, only for them to be completely over the idea by the time they reached the right age. They wouldn’t even give us a sympathy log-in, how rude.
Then along comes Litterbug. As the daughter of Truth Hawks, she has been surrounded by content creation her entire life, and now she is taking on hair making as if it were written directly into her DNA. She probably knew what a vertex was before she even learned that I goes before E, except after C. She is absolutely lovely to talk to, and she’s taking this “born into it” TRUTH fanbase completely in her stride. I honestly love to see it, because if I had been born into a hair dynasty, I would be putting the K in Kardashian—I have no real idea what that means, but it certainly sounded oooo ahhhh in my head.
So, instead of what is going on in my head, let’s talk about what is on my head. This is Mochi, and she is absolutely adorable. It is a mid-length style with cute “bun-buns” that just pops. It features slender ribbons with heaps of texture options, including some incredibly fun polka dots. You can also tint the ribbons – which I did to match my dress – or turn them off entirely. The style portion of the HUD gives you plenty of versatility, with options for fuller bangs, delicate tendrils, or no bangs at all. At first glance, the hair seems youthful and fun, and it is! But when you pair it with the right clothing and the perfect colour (this vibrant red is a whole mood today), it shifts the look entirely, giving off a beautiful, sophisticated vixen vibe. I went back to the AlaskaMetro brows, and another thing I love about Bakes on Mesh is that you can stack, so I actually went with two layers of the brows to get what seemed like a closer look to the hair colour. I am also wearing a hairbase by Martyr called Mel that is also at Hair Fair, and I love it so much and tinted it to match the hair. Perfect tint first go, I am skilled, it is mostly the side areas that it is visible.

Hair Fair 2026 – Opale & Inkdependent

When I saw this Koi head piece by InkDependent, I had to stop myself from squeeling all over discord, because it was earlier than set up, and I did not want to scare the other participants in the event. They always do such beautiful work on their booth and their releases and as a Fishy water sign, this just made me so excited. It also gave me a chance to use a backdrop prop I purchased in 2018 and still had not unpacked – sometimes you just have to own things. Opale also has lovely items at their booth this Hair Fair and while this is not their exclusive it is a past release and was a new to me style. I do love hair that has a bit of motion for a good photo op and this one has that as one of the options in the style section of their hud, I love the tucked behind shoulders option, as well as the no tendrils tucked behind ears look, so versatile a style, making it not just a photo op style.Originally when I put on the Opale demo, I was loving the blonde, and I do still, Opale has those blondes that make you want to be blonde, but I went with the darker for the picture, because I was feeling all about me. I went rummaging in my inventory for some scales, and of course the beautiful Izzie Button came through, some mermaid scales, some sand, all beautifully applied to my Slink Hourglass body, with a cute tankini look by White River Co. which was an Elikatira and Friday collab. I just loved the idea that my mermaid self came out of the ocean, grew some legs, kept my scales and stole some clothing from a random beach clothes line, bringing along some of my friends who could of course miraculously stay alive out of water. I think I next leveled Disney a bit here. That is ok though, because I am the boss of me.

Hair Fair 2026 – Sigma & Merit
I mentioned that I was wearing Merit hair from Hair Fair in a previous post, the post HERE. Now you can see the ponytail hairbase style in more detail. Previously worn without the add on bangs, so that it fit perfectly under the hat, this time the bangs have been added. It is a lovely low pony, the tail so stunningly thick and heavy. This time being worn with the gorgeous Lydia hair accessory by Sigma also at Hair Fair, now this attachment is shown as being worn at the back of the head, so of course, I spun it around to wear it at the front, and also at the back, a two for one opportunity for gorgeousness. You could opt for only wearing at the back, or only at the front, or both as I have done, but either way it looks amazing and the front reminds me of one of my favourite shows growing up – which I have mentioned a few times over the years – The Secrets of Isis, where the main star wore a beautiful gem detailed circlet at the front, and she was like Egyptian Wonder Woman.
Easily turned around and sized into position, the texture hud comes in both blinn phong and pbr textures and just looks great. It made me feel very Fae so with this beautiful gown from Just Because I could see myself striding through the forest in this look very easily.

Hair Fair 2026 – She Said Destroy & Opulein – Hair Fair Hare
The other day I was talking to Gogo of Juicybomb, and I mentioned that we needed to do another Bloggers Challenge, that focused on the idea of dressing like another Blogger or Friend etc…as in stepping out of your comfort zone. Gogo was having none of it, the idea that she would have to dress like me, had her all nope and I laughed…she does know me well though and vice versa. So today when I went to grab the new Group Gift Heads by Akeruka, I put it on, did not touch my shape and I felt like Gogo was looking back at me – it was the mouth shape mostly. So I laughed out loud and mwahahahah’d to myself and it was on – she thinks I am edgier than most all the time which is not exactly true, I tend to dress on the more conservative side off the posestand, because I have worked most of my Second Life, so all in on the professional looks. I already had the She Said Destroy Hair Fair item on my head, that was my blog post plan, and as it is very punked out, I was going to lean into that…so adding that Gogo face to it just made me chuckle. As soon as I saw the Olivia cap, I knew that I had to bring one of the Hair Fair Hares into the mix as well, they were made for each other – not literally. The Hair Fair Hare was because I was binge watching Sons of Anarchy while I made him, as is the case with the Hares every year, they are sold transfer and mod, and they are 100% to wigs for kids and sold for 150L each.
The Olivia cap has a texture change HUD with a great range of colour and tartan prints, and you can change the brim section from the main hat surface if you like for a contrast. I wanted to match the Hare though. Now speaking of the other Hair…Opulein has this bun style as a gift in their Hair Fair booth, and it is a bun at the top of the head, but because it is an attachment, I was able to move it down to the base of the neck and even though not visible it looks very cool, and military, so the shirt and then the skirt mixed up the punk rebellion with the military conformity so well in my opinion. It also helped that these boots had the matching kind of stud detail of the cap, all coming together beautifully. Seriously more and more in love with my inventory, now that I go back and forth between bodies again.
Hair Fair is open until June 14th and ALL purchases made at the event donate to Wigs for Kids, Exclusives and previous releases. Hair Fair 2026 – MyBags & Merit
I love hats in Second Life, and when they are made so well and we now have so many options for what we can wear with them, it just magnifies the joy. MyBags makes stunning hats and accessories and their Lakshmibai was a must have. The pearl detailing has texture change options and it just looks so pretty. It is a great military structured style that I just love in the pill box look for hats of this kind, and it worked perfectly with the ponytail and hairbase from Merit that you will see better in the next post on it, I get to wear it twice.
Putting together a whole ladies that lunch kind of look with some Rowne and some Coco, and it could be off to the races.

Hair Fair 2026 – Ade, AlaskaMetro and Ni-Ju
This years Hair Fair has had me changing my black hair look, more so than usual, or it feels that way after not blogging in a year. I also realised today that because of that I rarely look at my face. In Second Life I could be walking around without a face entirely. This hair by ADE has me wanting to look at myself all day long, the style is so beautiful and feminine and I just love that chatanooga choo choo of it all. I feel like I could walk into a Private Eyes office and convince him I am the innocent party, while it was me all along dun dun dunnnnn. I could have Gene Kelly sing a song about me that turns into a whole musical on rollerskates – if you know you know.
I knew that the Lucia hair was going to also be the perfect stage of the wonder that is the Kanzashi hair accessory by Ni-Ju. I saw it, and knew I just had to have it. What I didn’t know, because I bought it so fast I didn’t even bother to look if there was information I should be paying attention to, but it was a pleasant surprise to find out that there are left and right versions in three different looks, and I have two of the looks on in this ensemble, which is just awesome and makes me so happy.
Also making me happy, and a lovely balance with the hair colour change is the AlaskaMetro brows that are her exclusive for Hair Fair. They are going to definitely go into my rotation, as it is usually only AlaskaMetro that I change brows for from Nuve, so between the two of them I am covered and beautifully so. I also like how Alaska includes a lower option of brow, because while we do have brow shapes that change the height, arch and so on of our brows, having the brows themselves sit differently on the UV can make a world of difference to a look, so well done Alaska…always innovating.
Other things that make me happy, is going back to Hourglass by Slink because I realised that I was limiting myself so much with wearing Reborn and I had my ideal inventory already. That is not to say that I will not go back and forth, and I am lucky to be able to do so, but most of the posts have been Hourglass, and I am loving diving back into my items, because the way Second Life works and the fact that most items I have catered to multiple bodies, they are all still relevant, and as I have always said, everything old is new to someone, and I do love my older COCO ♥

Hair Fair 2026 – Sparkle Skye Creative & Opulein
Hair Fair and hair accessories always give me such a thrill, reason 5469874 why Mod perms are the best thing ever, as well as the fact that I honestly think that without Mod perms, many creators we have had over the years, would never have become creators. It is being able to move things about, tweak things and create something that maybe the creator didn’t intend that is so thrilling, as well as enough of a high to move some people into that creative momentum that leads them to creating items themselves from scratch and we just keep on benefitting from those moments.
Opulein created this unique take on a hairbase add on style hair, taking the ponytail into the base and wrapping it around the head, so that you have a bit more body to the style. The wrap over look at the tied off tail inspired me to grab the Cora pieces by Sparkle Skye Creative that is also at Hair Fair. There are two parts of this collection, the Cora combs and the Cora Hairsticks. I used both, because they both had something to offer this look. To make life easier on myself, and again BECAUSE THEY ARE MOD! – I hope you all heard me in the back – I rezzed a comb on the ground, shift dragged multiple copies of it into a line, and then linked them. Then attached them, and because they were a linkset of four, I was then able to move them into place. The even better part of the combs other than their beauty and lets just bask in that for a moment……………………………………………………………………………………is that they are separate comb to heart and gems etc, so that means that when rotating if you want to make sure the comb portion is more inside the hair, you can control that section separately, it was a dream to play with. then once in position I added the sticks which differ slightly as they have the roses at the base of the heart, and the sticks come in sizes, so that you can get the best look for the style, sometimes you need larger, sometimes more delicate, but remember they are MOD so you can do what you like size wise. I loved this experiment, because it looks so pretty, and it is all about the back more than the front, which is what most of us spend time looking at each day, and I felt this would make such a stunning wedding look.
So thank you to Opulein and Sparkle Skye Creative for inspiring me to have some fun with the combination. I hope that you can be inspired also.
Because of the wedding vibe of it all, I went with this stunning gown by Just Because, and it really added that extra elegance I wanted to show you.
