The latest set by Fifty Five not only had me running over because of its inclusion of both Slink Hourglass and Cinnamon & Chai fits, but the square toed strappy heels were just must haves. Now the Mini Corset blazer dress combination is just all the things and more, the options if you go fatpack and believe me, look at this HUD, you definitely should, because not only do you have these amazing prints to choose from and all the extras, but you can either all one colour or left and right as I did, and I am loving that.

I bought this hair the other day when I went to EMO-tions and was wondering what I would do as a look with it, just knowing that the celtic knot metal clasps and the style itself was great, I teamed it up with a hairbase I had from Adoness and that and the tartan punk vibe from the clothing, it all came together for me in such a me forever way. Adding the gorgeous earrings from Mandala that had the black white and red I was in need of, and I am ready to take on everything.

16 years is a mighty long time to be part of something as wonderful as Second Life. I am forever grateful to be part of this platform, the friends made, the experiences had…I love and care about everyone I have ever met here, and am truly inspired daily.
I have been able to watch incredible people grow as content creators and people, been able to share in experiences that have surpassed any expectation one can imagine they would. I came here to salsa and ended up making it part of my life in such a big way. I started working here my second day in world, and hit the ground running and have very rarely stopped since…I am glad though that now I am in a place that allows me to take a bit more time to stop and smell the virtual roses.

Second Life is a healing place, it can be a crazy place, it can definitely be a dramatic place, but honestly I hope with all sincerity that whomever you are, it becomes a place you find adventure, fulfill dreams you are yet to know you have, and share the you you want to be with others, you deserve it.

Today had me running over to the One Bad Pixel area @ Slink Mainstore and getting my Corset dress updates – they just added Cinnamon & Chai and Petite sizing for Original and Hourglass Physique bodies. But also to grab the special colours they put out until Monday for only 75L each. The colours are gorgeous and won’t be around, so grab them while you can. I instantly fell for the gold leather option but this Olive pinstripe option won me over for the day, I still have the other three colours to wear as well.

I have been getting everything for Hair Fair sorted – coming June 25th 2022 – and I gave myself the weekend off to prepare for the months ahead for prep. So what do girls do when on vacation on the beach – well I would not actually know, but so many girls came back from Bali with their hair in braids and it always made me want to have that pure relaxation of hours of time spent having your hair worked on. Mind you I could never have sat still that long unless there was a tv on the sand.

Every few years I have a post that is all about how I found the best dance panties in the whole wide world, and they would replace my previous ones. This actually started around 2007/8 if memory serves, I was in my skybox made of 6 rather huge prims – you know those days when you had to decide between walls and furniture, and I was dancing around in my skybox sorting my inventory in pretty much not a lot at all, except some undies and a t-shirt or tank or something like that. It became the start of my belief that you will find a pair of underwear that are not just sexy, or practical but motivate you to dance around the house in them, think Cameron Diaz in Charlies Angels.

So the other day I saw these land on Flickr for Cinnamon & Chai sizes and I fell instantly in love, so today off I went to get them at the Dubai Event. What was even cooler was that I have been playing around the past month with some tattoos, and fell in love with making Mandala type ones, and I was wearing one of the fishy ones that I made with another fishy one I made and got super happy that the tattoo looks so cute next to the Mandala like pattern of the fabric used for these shorts/panties, ok they are shorts, but I am going to make them dance panties and there is nothing you can do about it so nerrr. If you want to come at me for it, I may just take you down with a wet fish, how you like that – I am very feisty tonight, maybe they are fighting panties not dance ones….or even better Dance Battle Panties – ok now I am even more in love with them, honestly my favourite dance movie genre.
In other exciting news, One Bad Pixel has started updating some of their clothing to now include Cinnamon & Chai sizes, so I ran over and updated all the things, and this bra top is from the babytux outfit and has bows and straps that turn off and on via a HUD.

I have been looking at my blog of late, the really past past stuff, and I was thinking of going over older items, seeing how they hold up now, and my inventory is vast so there are potentially things that I did not feature in full, or things I did not ever unpack on a whirlwind spending spree. I want to try and rectify that, and also just see how things can work together still today with the changes over time.

I ended up looking at a post from early 2015, when we still had standard sizing, and found out that as mentioned that when I went shopping at E-clipse and purchased a lot of things and featured a lot of things I did not end up unpacking all of the things. I had grabbed this great top in multiple colours and never even wore it. It is even open backed which is so cute. It came in standard sizing which was perfect because I was wearing the Chai body of Cinnamon & Chai and not only did it fit without needing alpha but I was able to fit one of the fitted tank tops under it that is also mesh. because of the style it needed to be loose and because of that it also fit perfectly over my jeans.

Now I do have jeans that are Cinnamon & Chai fit but I wanted to see if I could get away with wearing these Coco high waist ones, and again with a little alpha help, it was great, the tiny bit of stomach pokes over the front, but the top I am wearing is not a concern there and the back fit perfectly.

I was loving all this blue, so I decided to look at what flats I had that may fit my Cinnamon & Chai feet, and found these amazing shoes that I had worn in the past, but with the socks turned off and with them on I was loving the blue and white combo, and then by some crazy bloggers fate they are also called Dorothy, so my shirt is Dorothy and my Shoes are Dorothy and that is about as perfect as it can get without trying.

Also a big win is that these rings by Yummy made for the Slink hands also fit the Cinnamon & Chai, so I am living my best Slife and having a great time revisiting older items, I hope the look inspires you to not only go for the new and seek out some older items that you may have not given enough attention in the past.

When I joined the internet – I was a very late catcher on – I first heard the expression ” Accent Addict ” ok the second word was not addict but the expression comes from those that are addicted to accents that differ enough from their own to make gimme gimme hands at the person speaking. I do love accents – although I would never call myself that – I tend to be a very quick to pick them up also, much to my Mums discontent as she gets very upset when she calls me after being on skype with Mel or Whimsy, and she says to stop speaking American at her. Which is funny because according to those I know she has her own accent that I cannot actually hear, but she does not like when I make changes to my me, she decided she made me perfect and I am not allowed to make changes.

I digress though, the reason for this whole post is pretty much because of the voice of an Actor that every time I hear her I just wish I could listen to her all day long. She needs to be hired by the Calm app or just make her own meditative app and rake in the moola. The actress is Shohreh Aghdashloo and her voice could change lives. Mel recently binged The Expanse which she is in, and while I did not get very far into it myself I did state that if they could just give her a spin off show of her actual role and everything going on while the other stories are going on I would be so into that. Alas no, but then we started watching Arcane and all of a sudden a military lady walks into the bar and starts talking and my ears went OMG it is her.

So todays outfit on the right was definitely inspired by her, and not at all what the creator had in mind for it I am sure. It is actually a very revealing set, it comes with panties and a small bandeau top and all texture change which is marvelous but I wanted to do something more, and the dress component really gave me those Dystopian Future/Egyptian Sci Fi with a bit of military vibe. Putting it with a knit bodysuit and some gorgeous thigh highs in leather I was ready to rock my Chai body – needing to use Chai as the bodysuit has the SL UV.

Then on the left worn with Slink Hourglass I have another great outfit by the same creator, that has options for sleeves on and off, neck on and off and so many variations of the colours with sheer or solid etc. This one I kept as is, because it is also a perfect accompaniment to that previous vibe and I really love the coupling a lot. I hope you do also.

Bakes on mesh and alphas, oh how I love thee. So as mentioned the other day I went to C’est La Vie and picked up a few things, and two of those things were these gorgeous cardigan with dresses items. The first on the right actually has the sleeves into the pockets so to wear them you just hide your arms and hands. So while I was at it, I created a custom alpha, and wore the Hourglass size with the Cinnamon body and the fit was amazing, so happy that I get to wear this delight on any of the three bodies I wear, as it came in Slink Original and Slink Hourglass and fits my Cinnamon & Chai oh happy days. (if you want to wear it that way too and need an alpha, IM me).
The singular colour when choosing is actually the cardigan colour, you get all the colours of the dresses in a HUD the price is amazing for so many options, and as I had yet to wear the Natasha shoes from Athor in a post the combination of the wood in brown and black leather strap, with the black and brown combo of the dress and cardigan, just made it a match made in happiness.
The other cardigan and dress combination I wore with the Slink Original option and matching them up with the Sigourney boots that have recently been updated to include Cinnamon & Chai as well, make everything so mix and matchy for me.

Speaking of match, I went to No.Match and bought up a few styles, I really love their hat hair selection and this style with the streaks at the front is just so lovely, it will  (could) be my go to hair for a bit – seriously I laugh every time I try and say that, like I don’t change hair on the hour if I am in world, but I mean it when I think it.
