I just wanna do you, do you…underneath the moonlight. Yes for those of you that watch Modern Family, I just watched that episode lol.
The other day I had the pleasure of spending a few moments with Anessa Stine, the multitasking demon. I was visiting the NEW offices of TOO SEXY an upcoming Magazine that will be launched in late Jan for Valentines Day. I am actually very excited about that, as I will be writing for the magazine, not something that I had planned to do, I was just being nosey…but it all just fell together. For me who has always worked full time for others – now I freelance which has been very satisfying – I had never put myself in for things like that, due to never knowing when I would have to TP with no notice to help customers etc.
So anyway stay tuned for more of that, the team is so exciting. While I was there I complimented her on her pants, I try very hard not to inspect when it’s friends, as I have said before…I just ask. They were from DCNY which is another business that Anessa is part of, and last night I was honored to have some of the DCNY goodies dropped on me. Which was kind of lucky, as I didn’t realise they were part of a set, and I would have been all over the store looking for pants.
I really like the old style of this set, it has that 1920 paperboy thing going on, or you can totally imagine it on a new immigrant with battered cardboard suitcase in hand as he looked up at the then huge buildings of New York. Yeah I know it is just how my brain is wired :P. But even though it has a very masculine style, it is very feminine wearing it. Plus what’s not to love when it comes with hat hair, the fedora with built in hair in many colours is included.
Donning another hat/hair style from Iren, this time adding a gorgeous Knit Scarf from Aoharu I toned down the look a little, and can see this shirt and those pants rearing often. Once established in the big city, taking on the Glitz and Glamour of the flashing lights and dancing until dawn, the Gloria dress is splendid for swiveling and shaking your tail feather, or in this case, your hip and front feathers as well.
I am today wearing Alice, another of the SODA skins, seriously if I was a make up company, this would be the style face I would want to show it, especially the lipsticks, wow those lips. Again the range of make ups is lovely, and for those in need of some lush red lips with smokey eyes, you need to give Alice a whirl. I am wearing Tuesday hair from Magika, but funnily enough she released a hairstyle called Alice yesterday too, with and without bangs, so you totally need to check that out.

blog – In the eye of the beholder
It is such an odd time of year for all the SALES that are going on…for me they will not really hit until after Christmas, because right now there will usually only be the enticing, spend your Christmas money with us, not our competitors…bargains.
One such SALE I went to the other night, had me kind of stunned at how quiet it was, but then again you can only own a whole store once, and so many have been die hard fans for so long, I was actually lucky in the fact that the items that were on sale were ones I didn’t have in all colours.
The Celestial Studios black friday sale, is actually on until the 4th as far as I know, and everything black is only 25L , so it was a bargain to pick up a few things I didn’t already have, and especially as I didn’t have the black version of all three of my favourite pairs of pants from there.
Anyways, moving on, I am showing mainly Beauty Avatar today, but I mixed everything up, to show the versatility of it all. I love mixing and matching, you wouldn’t know it to see me half the time, but that is rollover from constantly changing back to work clothes mid tp lol, it became a habit to not spend time to put together a proper ‘look’ to only be ripped back out of it.
I love the style of the pieces, they do make great backdrops for whole looks, as well as worn as they come. I really like the texture work, the actual style of and in some cases sheen. It isn’t always easy to put together a great fabric with a stylish concept, and these have gone hand in hand with eachother.
The other Beauty Avatar item I am wearing is the Daria skin, this skin is lip smackingly rawr worthy. Soft in all the right places, fit looking but without too much tone to the body shading. I really like the facial features on this skin, as well as the breathtaking lipstick and eyeshadows, but it truly is the high gloss of the lips that makes such an impression.
All the shoes that I am wearing are available at Footwear Expo 2009, there are only a few days left of this annual event, and as a percentage of money from each and every store there goes to help kids this Christmas, it really is worth it to take a look, and maybe pic up some shoes you may have wanted in the past, or something new.
Definitely make time to really explore Beauty Avatar, Whimsy and I helped a girl find a dress there last week or the week before, and you can really lose yourself in all the label has to offer. Take time also to check out the beautiful fountain in the courtyard between areas, it is a trunktacular creation.

Wrapped in plastik it’s fantastic, yes I know it’s not spelled that way, but it is in this case. I had a bag similar to this in the past, in bright colours, a few of them in fact, which would lead to a funny story about my mum and a snooty waiter at a famous tourist attraction down here, but I think I have told it before.
Baiastice is a store synonymous with style and high fashion, definitely a turning point for many when it comes to how they see themselves, and how they want to be seen. The collections have always been show stoppers, and it really is an all in one shopping experience, from accessories, separates, full outfits and skins.
The latest skins are available at the Vanity Skin Fair until 22nd November, the new make ups are lovely, soft and appealing, with dramatic eyes for a dressier look.
The outfit I am wearing is a fantastic use of this style of texture, the bag seperate. It actually even comes with a beret style hat, but I was more about this hair with it today. Even though definitely a high end look, the style of it is very runway for the day, and there are many second lifers that pull that off so well.

For the longest time Ashia has been talking to us about her good friend Steiner, the cute and way too adorable thing is that when he talks to you , he makes sure to include that he is Ashia’s friend, so that we know who he is :), I think it’s so lovely and charming.
He is of course also a Skin creator just like Ashia is, and his brand is SD. I was checking out his booth for Vanity Skin fair that starts on Saturday, and his booth is full of beautiful skins, the stand out one for me was of course Vivienne. The pale beauty that this skin personifies is just lovely.
The skin tone is a win win for those that light a lighter skin, without being too pale, and the make ups are just wonderful, you also get three options for the down there regions, so even though 8 make ups, you actually get 24 skin variations. The prices of each skin as a single are very reasonable, and as a pack a steal.
The softness of the skin and it’s make ups reminded me of the Emotive Bubble dress from Paradisis, it’s able to be worn two ways, and is really adorable in a sexy kind of way, it comes in other colours but for me the plum was just a win win.
I am wearing the lovely Flare hair from Gurl 6 another favourite of the range, this style was a charmer when first released due to the painted curls which was very rare back then. Make sure you get prepared for Vanity Skin Fair starting 7th November 2009 until the 22nd .

Gift Lingerie, New Skins and Lashes to write home about.
Over the years we have seen a definite change in the skin market, nothing compared to the leaps and bounds of the past 18 months. This weekend will be the second annual Skin Fair for Vanity Universe, and over 45 designers from all over SL are taking part. Part of the proceeds from this event will go to Care International.
I was able to visit the sim early as press, unfortunately I was so early that most booths had not set up yet, such is the case for most fairs usually, just as in RL it’s a case of a mad scurry before the doors open. Not only are the creators allowed to sell skins at this event, but also shapes, lashes and eyes, the whole body package so to speak.
Even if you are not a skin changer in your day to day, you definitely will want to check out the lashes, it is a total lash lovers dream. I hit paydirt with the New lash range from Redgrave, woah they are fine, not only is there an incredible amount of stunning lash options, but they fit like a dream.
You will see me wearing the Diamond Dust ones in all the posts I expect, they are so yummy. The two skins I am showing today are the latest releases from Redgrave, available at the upcoming Vanity Skin Fair that opens its doors on the 7th of Nov.
Summer is the first skin, in Emilia’s own words a much more mature skin line for her store. I agree, this skin is definitely for the more composed of women, I was actually really excited in how much it gave off that well put together look. Especially for the career focused in SL. It really is a beautiful skin and the hair base is parted on one side making it so distinguished looking. I didn’t want to wear hair at all with either of the Redgrave skins, as they both have such stunning bases.
I put together a very north shore combination, maybe your Hamptons and was loving the look. For Rihanna2 though definitely a bit more naughty, she still has her youthful rocker thing going on in this outfit, and wow the make up, this is one of my favourites, mind you they are all gorgeous on both skins, but this one has to be up the top.
Either Summer or Rihanna2 you are going to want to DEMO both of these new lines, and OMG the new breast enhancers are WOAH !, if you lose your partner at the fair, look for him at that booth lol.

I Stole Gary’s Man pants – Artilleri
I stole Gary’s Man Pants :P…….
As soon as I saw the New Release from Artilleri I IM’d Antonia and asked if the Burt jeans would be released in a female version. No was the reply and without even opening the IM box – my IMs show in chat – I was right clicking the vendor and they were mine.
The pants are called Burt and they are delish high waist with rolled up cuffs jeans, in a thick denim, that comes in four colours, I may have to go back and get the rest.
We all were praising our love for Artilleri, so decided to do a dress up shot. Meet Ashia (Babyface) Tomsen , who is really the head of our crime family, Whimsy ( What Shoes should I wear) Winx, Gary (Get your pants off) Beebe and Sasy (The Pants) Scarborough.
The girls are all wearing Artilleri clothing and hair, the new hair is just fabulous, it was a case of ‘I’m wearing that one, you have to change, no stay in that one now damnit’ , left to right our shoes are Armidi, J’s and Hoorenbeek. Gary’s hair is from tukinowaguma. Skins are left to right, Redgrave, Ewan, Tuli and Gala.
This is just a quick post, but really just to show that, regardless of this release being for men, it is really cool how lucky we are to be able to wear both sexes with ease, and these pants ladies, are a MUST HAVE.
