Hairgasm
I had a total hairgasm today, an incredible release with updates to previous styles and an incredible range of new ones, all at once, it was hair overload and I am happy to drown in it.
Ivanka Akina has a store full of items you just have to try, but the new hair range stopped me in my tracks. Not only are the styles just fab, but the amount of hat/hair and headband/hair to choose from had me almost blissing out.
The way this hair is sold is definitely customer friendly, each style is sold as one wig, and each wig has the whole hair colour pack only a click away, then same can be done for the hats and headbands, it is so easy, if you feel like a change you have the change right there. There is enough to suit everyones hair choices in this collection, from updo’s to floral garland hair, and then the punkish rock chick looks I love. That beanie tails do is like so awesome.
The Outfits I am wearing are all from Sn@tch, such incredible releases constantly from that store, Ivey is a machine, I do not know how she manages to release so much all in one go and have so much fun doing so, and I still say that her release notices are so entertaining, if you haven’t ever read one you are missing out.
The first sexy outfit you will have to fish for, it is a prize that will be gone mid week this week, so don’t miss out. There are so many glorious separates in the release, with the cropped cardigans, and the beautifully styled tank tops. I also love the crochet babydoll and tops, but I did have to be a little demure as usual with those, but I do admit you don’t reveal much of anything if worn without a cardigan over the top.
Some of – not all of – the shoes/boots I am wearing are also from Sn@tch, the fun stomper boots would have to be my favourites, named Buffy Combat Boots, amazing how it has been years already since Buffy ended and she still has such an impact on us. The boots have colour change laces menus which can be fun to blend with your outfit.
The other boots I am wearing are the GOS Burlesque boots, now I really like the style of these boots and I think that the options are marvelous, but I would prefer some different colour options, just because the basic range of colours just doesn’t work for me with boots, and I would have loved some deep red, some chocolate brown etc. But then there is something for everyone, so I will just have to be happy with the regular leathery deep colours of earlier releases. You can also choose to just change the laces on the boots, so for contrast that is always a plus.
Todays nails are the Jolie by SLink, I really like the shape and length of these, with the added bonus of also being mod. But the hands down yummyness comes from the HUDs you can buy as expansions in different colour packs, and the range of nailpolishes is HUGE. So again just keeping them on and click click click and I was able to match to everything, I think these ones are definitely going to stay on for a while.
The poses I am using in the first three pictures are all from Diesel Works including his new set scarlett, then the other pics are all using the fabulous new AO by iMagz who was originally the ao/poses creator at rQ, the new AO is so much fun, I am all in love with the sit on ground, you might just die from the cute.
Finishing up with the Doutzen skin by Glance, this skin comes in only the one tone, and it is a mid to fair skin with a beautiful face and body. The make ups range from the subtle to more dramatic. Make sure that you always try on the Demos of skins, because seeing things on your own shape is necessary.

Today is Pink Shirt Day ( if you want to know more about it contact December Dollinger) , with the concept being uniting as one against bullying.
Bullying makes you think of many people in your past and present, my favourite bully of all time has to be every girls favourite bully I would think, especially the fashionable, so today I tried to go with her seaside look rather than the outfits she is most known for.
I was watching Two and a Half Men earlier and was so shocked to see Alison as some kids mum. I guess that’s what made me think of her, mind you Alison got a bit bullyish towards the end there. Amanda from Melrose place, the famous Heather Locklear is and was the perfect bully, followed by Sydney of course. I have to admit I was psyched when the show came back, but after I think two episodes I gave up, I mean really it just lacked that fire the original had.
Most known for her power suits, that woman changed how women dressed for the office in one fell swoop, seriously I had so many of those skirts back then, I even had a few of the tightly buttoned crop jacket suits. I loved Amanda though, I think I always believed she wasn’t that way, not really, that her heart was huge and that she was just pushy because she had been hurt so often, pfft now I know different, she was a bully.
When they let her let her hair down, figuratively speaking, she bloomed. So today’s outfit is one of those days, the days she escaped Melrose Place and would be eventually found living carefree at the seaside, all out of focus and shot through a pantyhose lol ( or is that just porn they do that with?). As soon as I saw this outfit from Ema’s Secret I ran right over, dragging Newdoll and Whimsy with me.
The way the system skirt has been used, with the addition of the sculpted sash ties and loose pieces is perfect for nights strolling along the esplanade, or dancing up a storm at your local Salsa bar. It comes in four different colours, and the fat pack is a steal so I had to get that because it is so beautiful. Ema’s Secret is a glorious store, part of the What’s New SL stores…not only do they have beautiful clothing, but also amazing eyes in a seperate section, you may know some of them from Belleza. From Casual to Formal Ema’s Secret has a bit of it all, and make sure you pick up the panties pack too, so cute.
Stunningly gorgeous, and such a pisces like mes’ dream uppydo, this Lost Coastlines style by Tiny Bird is squeel worthy, the style itself is lovely for all occasions, done just right to even wear casually, but the addition of the baby starfish is glorious. I was really happy to find the right pink shoes to go with the look, not only in colour but the style suits so well too, these are by Insolence, yes that known for lingerie store , she makes shoes too, and I think she always does such a perfect baby pink.
I swear I have seen Heather dressed like this, maybe not as Amanda though, maybe some made for tv movie, you get all the good ones of those up there, we rarely get them down here. Bullying aside I loved her in the Perfect Man , such a cool movie.
A beautiful blonde skin is the pearl by LAQ, the hair base worn with the updo is a nice touch as it does give a more realistic effect to the hair.

Hair, Hair,Hair. Now is the time you should be thinking about HAIR. Not only the new hair I have on today, but all hair, long, short and otherwise. September is coming around fast, and if you didn’t already know that is the scheduled time for this years Hair Fair 2010. I am not going to spill the beans on the theme, but it is a beauty.
The committee is the same incredibly dedicated team chaired by Washu Zebrastripe and Kia Goodliffe, with team Leaders Sasy Scarborough (Me), Teagan Blackthorne, Laynie Link and with Whimsy Winx, Brandy Rasmuson and Autumn Hykova assisting.
If you have ever thought of making hair, or being in the Hair Fair because you do make hair, now is the time to start planning for one of the biggest events of the year. The reason I am unofficially spilling the beans ? well one of the main rules of Hair Fair is that you must already be an established business with hair at the time of application. As the application process is going to be coming sooner than later, I thought this would give you a chance to start establishing that part of your business in preparation, you don’t want to find out that rule when you don’t have time to do anything about it.
So “YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD” lol, also it is an early holler at all those that wait until the last minute
start creating now, if you release often anyway, start putting styles aside and keeping them hidden or even as back ups to release when you are too busy with your hair fair styles to do regular ones.Today’s hair is a new release by Tiny Bird, as Autumn is on the committee with us I couldn’t help but do both at once. The latest releases this week are must haves, this one with its flickyness is just great. New too are the Zipped dresses by Urbanity, these come in charcoal or denim, with different coloured belt options to choose on purchase. The belt determining what colour you get.
Now you know I am not one for the nipple shading, it freaks me out, and as someone who deals with clients and customers in person at any time of day, I feel uncomfortable knowing I am on high beam. This sort of outfit though is not something that I would necessarily be wearing in that situation, so it slips by…but those of you who are obsessed with this feature on your clothing, please think of others not wanting to look like horny tarts that could at any moment start dry humping your leg when you do this.
If that doesn’t urge you to give the option of no nipple highlighting, how about we all sit and imagine penis shading for mens pants (insert interlude music here) to me it is the equivelant, and honestly if you could feel comfortable standing there talking to others with your boy parts outlined on your pants, then so be it, but I tend to not like looking turned on when talking to others.
I digress though, this is a great and very sexy little dress, and for clubbing and what not it is very cool, and if you take off the top layers (comes on all yay) then you have a perfect skirt with belt look you can wear other things with, so if you like the bottom it is worth getting even if unzipped zips aren’t your thing, for me nipple shading no unzipped yes
I am not that much of a prude lol. Hell I am not even a prude, I just like options, GIMME GIMME OPTIONS ALL DAY LONGGGGGGGG *Sings*. I have so said all that before, but the penis shading is my new concept in getting the point across – is that a pun? I don’t know but it sure seems like one.With these looks I am wearing the latest shoes from Fri.day, the dream booties have a naughty side to them I just know it, they are bordering on kinky with the strapped and buckled belting to the heel. Wrapped around the shoe and back, to fasten at the side, nice working of the sculpties there Fri.day peeps. The dream booties come with not only the regular shoe/invisi combo, but also the shoes without invisi with alpha layer for the 2.0 peoples.
Sing it with me … GIMME GIMME OPTIONS ALL DAY LONGGGGGGGG, laughs and then follows that up with a rendition of Berocca gives you bbbounce, I so did the Berocca/Redbull thing again, can you tell?
The Adriana V2 skin by Glance is sexy sexy sexy, the gloss on the lips is superb, I am amazed often by the skills of many skin makers and how they are able to really capture the look of true make up. The body on Adriana is scrumptious and you should definitely take all the demos for a spin, remember never buy skins without looking at the demos first, as closely as you can, because you never know when someone is going to have their camera so far up your face they see everything…and if that doesn’t matter to you, just make sure it caters to your lingerie needs at least. SHAVED FOR THE WIN!
I love my little wings, aren’t they steampunky cuteness, they actually flight assist and open up into full wing mode when you fly, I got these yonks ago with the most adorable teddy bear that follows you around, you should totally check out the Mochi Products store.

Redcoats are coming
Whimsy just kidnapped me.Loving the new military style Tourist jacket from Fri.day, it totally compliments the older DeLa boots that have those similar brass buttons up the side that I love. I kind of felt all ex british hunter/soldiery, so went with layering some pieces from MichaMi one with a kind of animal print effect that was originally part of a swimsuit set, but totally rocks when layering.
What is not to love with the belt from Veschi, this comes with the dresses that are must haves anyways, so you will have ample opp to wear them. Banging out in my Maitreya roll up shorts to finish this stylish but way comfy look. The choice of what colour to feature today was made easy with the make up in the Elena Skin pack. This one number three is divine for those that love their rich red/burgundy’s.

I was having an awesome day yesterday, then it turned to crapola…not to worry though I turned it around because the lindens immortalised me and some friends in the new viewer wooot! One of the highlights of course was BOOOOOOOOTS.
I love boots, I could wear them all year. These new Quinn boots by SLink are just divine, the texturing, the style and the options to be open toed or not. There was a pair set out for 50L friday and if you missed out then thank goodness you can buy the regular colours because they are all must haves. My favourite thing other than the colours, the heels, the open toedness etc, is the scrunched down leathery look of the ankles, I love that attention to detail that has them all authentic and stuffs.
Beetlebones just released some beautiful Slouchy tunic style dresses, in soft textures and colours. The pulled up and puffed out elasticated band look is tops, and I think the length is just girly perfect, especially for wearing BOOOOOOTS.
I wanted something to wear around the neck, but wasn’t really feeling accessories need but more of a snuggle fest need, so the voluminous scarf and hair 3 by Maitreya fit the bill perfectly. They are texture change and have a great colour range that worked in really well with the dresses.
What I did do accessories wise was the new bags by Fri.day, these dreamcatcher bags come totally set up to shoulder wear, hand wear or non scripted for anywhere wear lol. The colours of those are so many and so perfect to go with all your leathery goodness. I wonder if vegans and anti leather wearing peoples actually wear virtual leather ? or would that compromise some integrity or something? I guess if it is pretending to be, it is just as bad *shrugs* not sure, interested to know though.
I get another chance to wear Elena by LAQ the lips on this skin just make me wanna smoochy everybody, so watch out, if you wake up with keyboard face and lippy on your cheek, it is because I the kissing bandit came to Elena smooch you.

Redhead matches my mood
Having fair skin and freckles in Second Life is not an easy task, sure you can find skins with tans and freckles, or fair skin that is porcelain in appearance, but a true red head skin is a rare thing. But like all rare things in SL the more people shout about them they soon appear, talk about using your voice for good not evil.
Glance saw a need for a true redhead skin and this is just lovely, the Louisa skin has that redhead look to it that lets you stay unique to your colouring and yet adapt for whatever dress mode you are in. What I really loved is the fact that the brows match the Passionate Red texture of Fri.days hair so well that it had me excited to look non dyed for a change.
This isn’t my natural colour as such, I am darker but I definitely have this colour running through it thanks to Mum and her irishness…I am not as fair though, I used to tease her when I was little that if I rubbed her arms really hard she might get a tan. What I also love about Louisa is that she was made to be a redhead, not just an option on a skin line, don’t take that wrong I LOVE OPTIONS, I just mean she is a standalone skin, one tone, one brow option and that is it, you have to love her for herself.
The new dress by SySy is perfect for this natural feeling, spring styled and whimsical. You get the two options of skirt and I had to giggle that I look preggers on one of the pics, standing that way thanks to the DelMay poses. I pulled out the old HUB sandals for this pic, the colours and style were perfect…I wish I knew what happened to them as creators, they just seem to have stopped for the longest time.
With the very dramatic make up options that Louisa has I went with a new dress by LP Designs as well showing that kind of retro rocker montage look, I would totally wear this and rock out to billy idol and duran duran lol.
Lastly the Jori skirts and tops, I mixed these up because I can. It is such a great selection of colours in the Jori pieces, and the more you buy the more combos you have. On doing this with the pieces I thought it would be cool if stores did things like that as add ons. I understand it may limit sales in one direction, but imagine if the sash part, which is actually just the top of the skirt, was made in totally different palettes the original and sold separate as a pack, that would be so cool with so many different things, I guess it wouldn’t always work, it would really have to be something that originally does that on its own like these.
Make sure you get on over to 5th & Oxford not only for the Jori pieces but EVERYTHING because at the moment it is all 50% OFF EVERYTHING , I mean wowza, that is skins, clothes, LINGERIE OMG OMG OMG and the gloves that I just loves muchly, run, hurry , go , now , why are you still here?
The new poses from Long Awkward pose are adorable, even if my ankles would be in plaster eventually lol, great for cutesy shots like this, and it is great seeing all the fab poses being used from Pose Fair.
Make sure if you have been looking for a true redhead skin that you go and try the demos at Glance, the body on this skin is beautiful and the make ups have a nice range from soft to dramatic.

Kiss My
Some stores just blow you away with how they present their product. Lately I have seen a few stores level up in that area, from how they present their items for purchase, as well as just the clean and crisp way they produce their ads.
One thing that absolutely floored me was the level to which this designer presents her work, not just by the info on the vendors, or the nice pictures, but the fact that every single colour is shown with different hair, skin and pose…really capturing the look and idea of the outfit. Not only is this really eye catching, but the chance to really snare the attention of the customer is much greater, because looking at the vendors you can imagine yourself as one of those girls and the item becomes more real to you.
The store is Veschi and the latest release by Alla Ruff is just incredible. The colours are rich and pretty, with spring in the air the corals, oceans and soft greens are perfect. A true grecian theme with incredible draped dresses in solid or two tone – they are GORGEOUS – the whole collections reminds me of Dynasty.
Not only did Alla feature all her colours in different looks, but two of the major sets came with an abundance of extras options if you feel like adding more to your look, and if not then you don’t have to. It is like a one colour extras pack option, with belts and trim in other colours to change your ensemble enough to be a different palette, much fun and totally lovely to wear.
The collection also comes with separates and the handbags are also by Alla, with all prims in the whole lot modify, because Alla is concerned about scripts being overused in SL at the moment… and by making them mod if you have any issues with editing them to fit you, she has offered to help you out if you contact her with purchase details, how cool is that :).
With this release I am wearing the latest from LAQ, the Elena skin is just beautiful, she is like the more mature version of Tasha which makes me very happy. The lips are fuller and the make up has a deeper range that is just gorgeous. As usual they come with hair base options and the body is stunning.
On my feet another look at the La Sauvage by Courtisane. These shoes have both the ankle strap version and the shoes only look, the colours went so well with this release of clothing too, I found that their goldish sole also worked so well with Veschi offering gold or silver versions in the jacket and bags.
With pose fair still on I am using poses from Avant a collab project of various designers, and Olive Juice. Olive juices release had me in stitches the names of these poses are so entertaining, and I am starting to think that the creator is in her mid to late 30’s because the names have way too much going on in that direction lol either that or she is staying up too late watching reruns, because Alice has not been on TV down here since the early 80’s lol , too funna.

Framed I tell you
The other day while out shopping I was perusing some of the older items in a store…realising that it had been a while since I not only wore them, but featured them, and that some pieces where never shown at all.
I am having so much fun with the Poses that have been released at the Pose Fair, ones I adore are the new FRAME sets by aDORKable, has anyone else noticed how sexy those things are, go the dorks. Sexy new poses to frame sexy new shoes. These are the latest Courtisane shoes and they are super gorgeous. They come with two options, the way shown here with the ankle straps and fringing, or without which is so cool because the incredibly stylish looks can be achieved with both, but sometimes you just want to minimise your bam factor.
These heels are incredibly high, but they have a substantial heel and built platform front to accommodate that, which makes them the perfect dancing shoes. Built with one attachment and various sizes for those that need them like me
. I had to wear Justice the skin by Idiosyncrasy for this post because the poutyness of it just works so well for this combo, I love the blend of make ups available in the three different versions, 8am, 6pm and 2am, I am wearing make ups from the 2am sets because I think I am dress appropriately lol.Make sure you check out the pose fair, and pick up the frame series, they have one for boys too. You can edit them to any colour you like and they are fully mod so you can fit them to your avatar too.

Share your heart – Mel, Fiachra, Ashia, Justice, Newdoll, Sofia, Whimsy and Gary
I am blessed every day, I have met the most amazing people through Second Life, some may not be as close to me as others but everyone of them holds a part of my heart. The ones that I spend most days with you all know of by name by now I am sure, I mention all of them so regularly that I hope you have come to realise already what they mean to me.
This post didn’t start out to be a YAY my Friends ROCK! post, but as I was uploading and looking over the pictures that I did tonight, I realised how much influence they have over my everyday, and especially my blogging. For a start they are all so incredibly talented, Mel with his creations and just overall knowledge on everything, he is a walking wiki, he is my heart and every day I get to spend time with him is magical even if he did call me screwby doo today – I have a random scooby laugh, but I swear he was saying I was nuts :P.
Fiachra and his beautiful jewelry, he has always been an incredible part of SL I don’t think I would have gotten through so many big changes without him… and his mind, which is very similar to Mels, so between the both of them I feel like a pinball at times; donking from one side to the other and TILT!
Ashia and Justice and their different way of looking at Second Life, their artistic passions that can range from the flowery and fluttery to the dark and bloody. I think everyone just thinks I don’t like that kind of dark art, it really isn’t that, it is that I cannot handle blood and a friend in the same pic, it breaks my heart. Ashia makes cusswords sound sexy and she has this way of picking you up and dusting you off and pushing you back into battle that is just so motherly she is so amazing and strong. Justice makes me laugh just thinking of her laughing, because when she does let herself stop working for long enough to have fun, she can power a small country with her chuckle. No one can rock out short hair like her, and her absolute bravado is just awesome.
Newdolly is that true friend that can go awol for a month or two, but is always there to count on. She does her own thing, has her own passions and when she shares she shares everything, you do not get only parts of Newdoll but all of her, and anyone who doesn’t see what a gift that is can’t be helped. Her art is fabulous and she can takes the erotic to a whole new level.
Sofia has such talent rolled into such an adorable package but so feisty. She knows how to take charge and get things done, and will help her true friends as much as she can, whether it be advice or skills she has, and she has the skills for sure. I adore spending time with her, as I do all my friends, she has a wit that is so dry she can send redbull flying out your nose at least twice a day.
Whimsy and Gary, such an adorable couple, you can practically set your watch by Gary, and I think Whimsy does. She spends all day doing her things she needs to do, and then when he logs on everything stops and being with each other is the theme. Things as simple as shopping or playing Greedy Greedy just become a little nicer when spent doing them with those two. Whimsy has talent she hasn’t even uncovered herself, but I see it every single day, just a little more shows itself and those close to her know and encourage it.
That is what friends do, that is what they do for me every single day. So when I finished taking these pics, and was looking them over after upload I realised that they are a bit of everyone of those people. They give me strength to do more, learn more, experience more…when I don’t blog for a few days it is because they will ALWAYS come first… I really do see their influence in what I do, I want them to know that. It is because of them that I want to be better in everything, and in reverse I am overjoyed with their successes that I want to believe they gain something from mine too, and to me just making a pretty picture and being so happy to have learned a new trick in PS or somewhere is a success.
So thank you to all of them, for holding my heart and sometimes filling it so full I cannot breathe. The others not mentioned know who they are, they know I love them dearly, because I tell them every time we talk.
The clothing in these pictures is all by Baiastice from the new couture collect recently released, such beautiful colours and very feminine, whether formal or warrior it all shines. I am using the new Amacci poses that have been released for Pose Fair, there is a new AO which some of them are from, and a new pose pack…the AO is called Posh and it is lovely to wear.
I had fun shooting these pics, going from place to place. Some places I had to use my VR Studio Mobile Library and some I could actually rez at, the wheat field let me rez it even said I could in the covenant, how cool was that.

Jailhouse Rock
Being Locked Up this weekend would be a tragedy, with the first ever Pose Fair about to begin, you won’t want to miss out. Maybe being locked up is your thing, and maybe you will wait out the opening weekend munching on easter eggs, but you will definitely make time to visit this wonderful event over the next week for sure.
I think some of these Sasy’s got the Lock Down because of prims, you wouldn’t dare wear that many to such an event, but you do get to strut in all you want after you leave, much more fun in my opinion, it is getting to dress to impress all over again.
The Lockdown cell is a prop with 15 animations in it by Gliteratti, I have two side by side as it was easier to show you more this way, with the use of my VR Studio HUD . The poses for this prop are fun and can really charge up a scene, or be a little more reserved, depending on your mood. I tried to keep in the jail house theme, with black and white, using the strap work from the Lilith sets from Dark Eden and using some Latex outfits as underneath clothing.
The prison guard, or police office technically uniform I have had since I was about a month old lol, I have held onto it that long, and finally it has a place in history, not just my inventory. The only thing I am missing is a baton to clang on the bars, but oh well maybe next time. Make sure you check out the demo version of the Lockdown prop at the Gliteratti booth at the Pose Fair 2010 it has already started and will be worth attending, don’t forget to prim down, or you may end up in Lockdown for real.
