Re-Connect this Christmas and into 2025 – Second Life Mobile App.

It’s not exactly new news that Linden Lab made the Second Life mobile app available to everyone in the past month or so. The app is still in beta, with plenty of new features on the way. While reflecting on what’s been shared about it, and the reactions I’ve seen from others, I feel like many people are missing the bigger picture and opportunities this app presents—especially at this time of year.

The internet itself is vast, and Second Life is a world within that world. Sometimes people move on or disappear from our virtual lives, often without explanation. This can leave friends wondering—are they okay? Did something happen? In an anonymous world like Second Life, it’s easy to forget that stepping away can cause real sadness for those whose lives you’ve touched along the way.

But it’s not always a downer. Life moves on for all of us. People get busy, start new jobs, welcome new family members, or simply decide to spend more time offline. It’s natural. That’s what got me thinking: Second Life mobile has the potential to be a truly positive thing.

Initially, I saw the app as a practical tool for creators—people tied to their desks for hours every day, whether they’re content creators, community leaders, or business owners. For many years, I was in that position too, always feeling tethered to my computer, especially during busy periods like the holidays. The mobile app offers a way to step away while staying connected. You can answer questions, keep conversations flowing, or even log in quickly if something urgent comes up. That’s such a game-changer.

Then I started thinking about the emotional possibilities. How many connections have faded because someone no longer has regular access to a PC? Imagine being able to log in from a phone or tablet—just to chat while sitting on a rock or exploring a nostalgic corner of the grid. Old friends could pop in during the holidays to surprise people, relive memories, or see what’s changed. With mobile access, they could rediscover Second Life’s evolution—from the advent of mesh and bakes-on-mesh to Bento bones—I personally lost my mind seeing my fingers move—  and so much more.

This app could spark both new and renewed interest. New residents might use it as a guest pass to peek at what’s on offer, while returning residents could dip a toe back in, only to find they’re still remembered and missed. Picture their IMs lighting up as old friends greet them with joy. It’s happened before, and the idea of it happening more often, thanks to mobile, is genuinely exciting.

Beyond personal connections, mobile opens up opportunities for collaboration. Imagine needing quick input on a project—should the house have an extra door or window? Are we making shoes or boots to match that outfit? Instead of delays waiting for everyone to be at their computer, mobile makes instant feedback possible.

Sure, some might say, “Why not email or use another messaging app?” But not everyone feels comfortable communicating outside Second Life itself. That’s how many lost touch in the first place—by losing access to the platform. Now, they can log in and stay connected, and that’s something to celebrate.

This holiday season, I hope the app brings a bit of magic. Maybe someone you’ve missed will pop in unexpectedly, or a curious newcomer will find their way to the grid and discover a world beyond their wildest dreams. And perhaps, a year from now, they’ll be celebrating their first anniversary in Second Life, reflecting on how much it has enriched their lives.

There have already been changes and updates to the Mobile app. You can access group chat and notifications, the way chat is displayed and the options you have in settings have all been tweaked and worked on. New features coming will be The Lobby option which will be an insight into what you are about to log into, kind of like offline emails but more robust— I always start my day looking at offlines first. You will be able to see what friends are online – which is a great reason to drop in, and there are plans for notecard reading and many more abilities to come. The Mobile team is also very encouraging of your feedback through their feedback portal, if you think there is a bug, or a feature you want to see, put it there.

To be clear, the framed images in this post were created by me using AI. It’s not my place to associate real people’s faces with a product, even if those faces are from stock or free-to-use image sources. While these may resemble real people, I want to clarify that I made them with AI. My intent was to showcase how the Second Life Mobile App could feel incredibly freeing—and it was fun for me! Additionally, I edited some of the official Linden Lab images in Photoshop to fit the narrative of my pictures. While some features shown are real and upcoming, others were simply doctored for storytelling purposes.

Let people know you’re okay. Share your highs—and if needed, your lows—with those who care about you. Don’t let the absence of a desktop computer be what keeps you away.

Imagine spending some quality time outside—on your own, breathing in fresh air, enjoying a class, or just being more mindful. When you spend too much time at the computer, it’s easy to worry about missing things because it’s someone else’s midday or evening. With the mobile app, you can check in at various times and decide whether you want to return to your PC.

I know times have changed, and there’s more to life away from the computer than there used to be. But some people still struggle with FOMO (fear of missing out). For them, this app could be exactly what they need—and I’m so glad it’s now possible.

This one generated perfectly—it’s not easy to come up with so many brand names! I wasn’t in-world at the time, so if any of these happen to be actual store names, my bad, but also… yay for you!

I love that this app allows you to do family or couple activities, get outside, and even take the dogs for a run. Imagine using it to share what you do with someone—maybe as part of a first date where you show them the world you work in, the build you created, or the dress you designed. As a couple, you could check in with Second Life friends who know you’re meeting in real life for the first time in years. Letting them know everything is going great could add to the joy of the moment.

We all have memories—great people, moments, and locations. Finding out Second Life has a mobile app could inspire you to think, Why not? and just drop in to relive some of those experiences.

The official information provided to bloggers recently included a mix of exciting features to come. As you can see, I used those official images to create some of my own.

Second Life – Marketplace Redelivery Tutorial – Sugar High

    Sasy Scarborough - Sugar High

Marketplace and redelivery options can be incredibly helpful, especially as the holidays approach. I wanted to highlight the various functions available to ensure everyone knows how to make the most of them. When new features are introduced, there’s often either a surge of content about them or very little, and over time, that information can fade. This can leave newer users—or those who missed the initial blitz—unaware of valuable tools. Even if you’re familiar with these options, others might not be, so it’s worth revisiting.

If you’ve watched my videos before, you may notice this one feels a bit different. For the first time, I scripted and recorded the narration ahead of the content to bring some order to the chaos. Ironically, it ended up taking much longer, as I had to re-record several times. I’m still unsure which approach is better, so I’d love to hear your thoughts—do you prefer a more spontaneous or scripted style? Reading from a script does sound different, but it might become easier over time. I also tried using a free teleprompter, which turned out to be quite helpful.

I am still obsessed with these pants by Cynful, the pockets and belt loops having their own colours to choose from (as many as the pants) is a delight in contrast fun, actually everything has so many colours to choose from, these pants just give an everything vibe, definitely a wardrobe staple. I ended up feeling very watermelon like putting this colour combination together, but it was a modern leaning from Christmas red and green, to dark pink and chartreuse. The top is by Catarsis, it is very fun, because it can go into formal or casual like this, and that makes it a very versatile piece. I love clothing like that, that you can see endless possibilities in.

Mainstore Monday – Bloggers Challenge – Elikatira

Sasy Scarborough - Elikatira - Mainstore Monday - Region

Sasy Scarborough - Elikatira - Mainstore Monday

Did you know: That the original (in my time line 06) default attachment point was the Skull, this made for some very funny scenes, when people would wear something they should have unpacked and their hair would come off. Now it is by default the right hand. When you upload content, before you rez it to the ground to work on it, you should right click attach to and pick a new location, as there is a hierarchy that actually plays an important role in cases such as alpha sorting. You can see more about the order of things and even a lot more reasons as to why HERE.

Kess Crystal of The Glamoursauce blog reached out and asked me if I would consider doing a Mainstore Monday post as a Bloggers Challenge. Something she had done in the past, and I myself live very much in this wheelhouse of chattering on about more than what I have on in many cases. The information about the Bloggers challenge is HERE. I have chosen Elikatira for my first post because she has changed branding, woven in and out of other collaborative brands (such as Fri.day), been part of mega hits like The Quad — if you know you know — and stayed consistent in her style and growth as a creator over the years. I personally love her past and future releases, it is easy to be enamored by her content and just her overall aesthetic. Whether it be hair or clothing, you always got a consistent insight into her taste — and those of us with pine boxes still imprinted on our rears from camping for releases know that an Elikapeka created item, was always worth it. Some of you may not know this but Elika (when ETD) created a line of hair for the real life brand Aveda, and it was EPIC! The grid went wild to get their hands on those styles, or their heads into them. I asked a good friend Sofia Gray to give me a quote on Elika for this post.

Sofia Gray: I think the thing I always appreciated about Elika was how well she seemed to understand how hair moved. She always had the best “hand” at creating hairs back in the day. The collection she did for AVEDA was one of the best.

Some will also remember that a viral hairstyle was actually named after Sofia, and everyone was obsessed with it, Sofia also appeared in a few ETD ads back in the day. I actually found a past post with it on and I would bet that anyone blogging back then had it, when discussing it with Sofia I even nailed the year it was released (2008) my memory recall is awesome.

I could talk on the great things about Elikapeka and her brands for reams of imaginary paper — especially how she was one of the founders of Hair Fair and that being accepted into that group in 2007 has always been so special to me — but I just want to encourage you to visit her store if you haven’t, or if you haven’t in some time. Check out the builds, oh how I wish the builds were also for sale. The areas around the region, as they make for lovely backdrops for pictures and just chill out in her relaxation area in the centre of the store and peruse the items at your leisure. She is often a participant in Fifty Linden Friday (FLF) and The Saturday Sale (TSS) but as those events are often outside of the store, it is important to always look inside to see what you may have missed, also great to check up on things like credit earned through purchases. She does have a shared store group linked below that you can join for free.

I got this fabulous long cardigan and tubetop (included) set at Elikatira and I was so happy that the Groovy Tweed Pants by Cynful fit under it perfectly. The belt has an off option, which I usually do, but loved the look with it on this time. I also just loved this hat hair, also by Elikatira that brought all the colours and style together. I am living my yeehaw life today. I hope you like Mainstore Mondays and head on over and see what Kess has done with her post Here.

    Pierrot Cover Up

Sasy Scarborough - Pierrot Cover Up

Did you know: That in the viewer “Comm” (short for communication) Menu at the top of your viewer, at the bottom there is a Conversation Log. This holds onto all communication between you and others, even if you have not replied. So in the event of a crash or a log in fail, or even just you remember you spoke to someone about something the other day and cannot remember who it was, it is all there for you as a list you can open an IM from, so you can grab that person again easily. Sometimes it is even faster than going to a friends list.

It’s the last day of the Gothmas Market, and I put together a look inspired by— wait for it —panties. Well, technically they’re called briefs. Lamb released this fantastic lounging set (available as part of this weeks The Saturday Sale), complete with a T-shirt (in solids and graphics) and briefs. But when I saw the trim options on some of the briefs, I couldn’t resist using them as the foundation for a look. I was going for something thrown-together and playful, staying true to the set’s name, the Boyfriend Lounge set. While I didn’t wear the full outfit, building on it was so much fun.

This is the kind of look that has him walking into the kitchen to find you dancing around to an ‘80s track, wiggling away while working your Ninja blender. He’s smirking, taking in the mishmash of pieces you’ve left at his place over time — now artfully pieced together into this outfit.

The boots are from one of Mellow Elie’s first releases, and she’s been working hard on creating items that pair beautifully with not only her work but others’. These boots come with a two-tone option (which I took full advantage of) and a shaftless version—basically just the foot section—so they fit well with most pants. I styled them with these gorgeous stockings by AlaskaMetro. They’re sheerer than they look here—I layered three pairs to achieve this bold black-and-white stripe effect. That’s one of the joys of Bakes on Mesh: endless layering possibilities!

The sweater tied around my waist? Is it mine? His? Who knows—but it’s keeping the chill away. I added some edgy touches with vine wraps around my arm and a collar available at Gothmas Market, giving the look just a bit of a punk vibe. Then there are Izzie’s pimple patches—how fun are these? They’re BOM layers that come in various colours and positions, so you can go wild stacking them. I thought they looked like cute little stickers, but who knows—maybe it was a rough night, and I’m covering up a blemish or two. Either way, Izzie approves.

Since I’m leaning into this punk-meets-casual vibe, Truth’s Element hair was a must. It’s such a fun style, and I even textured the bangs separately for an extra pop. To top it all off, I am wearing the Frosty Cup by Flair (available at Shop and Hop) and even colour-matched it to my outfit. Lots of options, lots of fun, and one very memorable last day at the Gothmas Market.

    Ghosted – Gothmas

    Sasy Scarborough - Ghosted

Did you know: That the edit tools work as mini calculators as needed. If you type using the number pad in the boxes for sizes, location or rotation it does the math for you. If you were wanting to add prims along a path, and have them be a certain distance apart, you can add the size of the prim to the location of the prim as well as the distance (original number + size number + distance number) and voila, it would land exactly that distance away — you would of course need to make a copy of the prim for the new location first.

No one ever wants to be ghosted, but when it’s by inflatables as cute as these two by Vizarte, who would dare complain? They come in three versions each – the reindeer and the Santa – and are absolutely adorable. Designed as decor, sure, but I could totally see these as fun little companions following you around, spreading festive joy wherever you go.

Now, let’s talk fashion! Lamb recently dropped this fab t-shirt dress, and the available prints are an absolute blast. I don’t usually lean into graphics, but this one caught my eye – it’s a mushroom, but it totally reads like a skull, making it perfect for the Gothmas vibe. Bonus: it also comes in solid colours, which makes it super versatile. Normally, I’d pair this with some leggings, but I couldn’t resist showing off the incredible tattoo by Juna, also available at Gothmas. This spooky Gothmas-themed ink runs down one leg in four different opacities, and it’s such a statement piece. Funnily enough, I saw someone with a single-leg tattoo in another style today and thought, “That’s such a vibe!”

To dive further into the rocker-chic mood, I styled up with Monso’s latest hair release. It’s fabulous! The two-tone HUD gives you that extra cool edge, and I love that the second style option pulls the hair behind your shoulders – my all-time favourite look. I went full glam with the all-forward style for my main shots, but you’ve got to check out the behind-the-shoulders version in the close-up – and the additional bangs are a fantastic touch.

For a playful touch, I slipped on these devil rabbit slippers (yes, with horns!) from Gothmas. They’re just the right mix of cute and spooky, coming in various colours. And let’s not forget the stockings, which are part of an add-on set. The base socks, which I’m wearing, are adorable on their own – I love how mix-and-matchable they are.

Finally, let’s talk glow. That magical aura around my feet? It’s from 2 Percent and is another Gothmas find. There are loads of options, but this one was my choice for the day – it’s pure fun and adds just the right glow to tie everything together.

It’s Criminal Really – Gothmas Market & and Izzie Button

Sasy Scarborough - It's Criminal Really - Gothmas Market & and Izzie Button

    click for video

Did you know: That if you are texturing items, and you already have the textures and the other features of the item, such as normals, specular etc all the way you want them to be, then realise you have to rez another version/size you can copy and paste the parameters from one that is done, to the other/s. Not only can you copy paste the textures, but also the numbers you may have set for gloss and environment etc no matter what faces they are on it will all copy over. This is a time saver for all. You will find the copy and paste buttons above the Glow section in the texture menu, this works for blinn-phong and PBR.

Again with the modify options making me gleeful this Gothmas. This miniature village by Cabal that you see behind me, is not so miniature at the moment, I made the buildings— only two of the many, there is even a bridge —larger because I could, and they made for perfect backgrounds. I liked especially that with this sweater on in the stripes pattern, I looked like I was about to commit a crime. The cookie bag by Chou that not only looks fabulous, but gives you cookies by touch is awesome. The animation for them is just holding them, but I needed to taste one, and also bring attention to my lipstick also by Chou at Gothmas Market. Maybe these cookies were meant for that St. Nicholas dude, but he won’t miss them, they are now mine. The skirt is so well crafted, and even comes with not only a texture hud of options, but also a pack of textures, so you can create your own, how cool is that. I was not planning on turning around, because this skirt while adorable, would not be worn by me personally without leggings. This has so much air conditioning at the back it is a belt, and I mean that in the funnest of ways. However, a recent release by Izzie’s gave way to an idea and not only do you get to see the back, but you get to see the latest Izzie’s project and a song that was so much fun to write, and then with some AI help a chart topper was born, it took so many tries to get the perfect hit, because I am all about the puns and if you know Izzie you know I nailed it. Enjoy the video…if you find yourself doing strange things in future, I promise there is no hypnotism involved, left and right swings of the hips are not the same as pocket watches. The product is fantastic, another of those Izzie’s items that you do not know you need until she makes it. This is going to be fabulous especially for people that wear older skins that were made more for the creation of that area, than what mesh bodies do now. While I had to show it on a body and skin that I wear all the time, and while I have no issue with that area personally, wow does it leave an impression, and yes I am being naughty in not just saying what it is, but when you watch the video and listen to the song, you will know and I don’t want to spoil that for you.

    Krumpity – Gothmas Market

Sasy Scarborough - Krumpity - Gothmas Market

Did you know: That the code for an Em Dash — is alt 0151 then release the alt. I did not actually know that until today, that is why I was always typing – instead. I also found out today, that they are called Em Dashes and their neighbour the En Dash, because of their length, in relation to the N and the M. Which I find hysterical that they added E’s. What some of you may not know is that I type the way I talk. This means that there is very little breathing between words, sentences and paragraphs. There are always going to be issues with punctuation because I do not pause, so I often second guess myself on where they should actually go (this was edited three times).

I adore things that are Modify, and also love to change things from their intended purpose. I am not the only one that does this, and that is why it is so fun to change things up, and give people an idea of doing more with what they have. Such is the case of the Krampus Plushie, it is a hand-held plushie, that I decided would be fun to use as a decoration for this amazing tree. The plushie is not only cute as a wearable, but because it is mod, you can resize it and use it however you wish, and because it is low on the land impact scale, this means decorations are a possibility. The tree is something I have personally never seen, and it is wild. The idea of decorating a dress form, to look like a Christmas tree is magical, especially if you are a seamstress and are already having to take up that room space. Going even further as to make the top part a gown like look, it is just superb and every fashionista needs such a thing this season. It has a decorated look as shown, or a plain, so you can add your own look to it, which I did anyway, but liked it all together.

Speaking of beautiful adornments, Sigma as always went all out. Gothmas Market as suggests definitely has a Goth theme running throughout, and this necklace is stunning, it really incorporates the architectural influence of the genre, and the macabre intention. It is a collector piece, that if you are someone that does not do a lot of accessorising, this could be your one and done for a darker look. To liven it up a little—because even though I often wear black, I am not usually a Goth kind of dresser, I added the gold/yellow look, inspired by the gold in the decor boxes below the tree. Carrying this to not only my top, but also these new lashes by Nuve, another great set called Mindy, that allows for a separate colour to be added to the mix, that and the fun cyberspace make-up by Alaskametro. Really fun and playful, with a Goth theme, is the earmuffs set, they come in animesh or no animesh options, but are so cute flapping away, as though warding off the cold. I am also using layers to do that, with these great stockings that actually layer, so if you don’t want the crosses you can choose not to add them and still have the stockings. Then the platforms that have the legwarmers inbuilt, and just popped for me when I saw them, so cute, and come in the set with the skirt and a different top. Whether you like the darker looks, and a Gothmas Holiday or not, you should definitely check out all the goodies available at the event.

Not an Australian Christmas – Gothmas Market

Sasy Scarborough - Not an Australian Christmas

Did you know: The NEW Seasonal names have dropped? (info Here)  If you wish to change your last/surname to one of the ones available (Resident even if not showing is considered your Surname) you also have the opportunity to change your first name included in the cost, or you can just change your first name if your last name is one you are fond of. So anyone that wants to drop some numbers or capitalise something they lower cased in the past, you can do so, you can even go a full change, and pop out the other side a new you. If you are not hiding from anyone, I suggest putting your original name in your profile somewhere so that perhaps you are not lost to us all though, because finding people that do name changes is a whole thing I did not expect to add to my list of skills…what do you do in Second Life that you never imagined you would?

You have already experienced my American Summer rebellion this year, but Christmas hits a bit different. While it is sweltering down here, and my Vornado is going flat out, I have already watched 18 Christmas themed movies in the past few weeks, and I get very enamored by the whole look and style of it all. So while I cannot promise that I will truly Christmas Winter Wear this season, this was too fun not to do. It also worked out so well with this Beach Please coverup I think I have mentioned wanting to wear many times before, and every time something went wrong or I got distracted. I finally achieved my goal with the help of the lovely AlaskaMetro, who created these fabulous nordic inspired leggings that are at the current SL Christmas Expo event. Back to the coverup though, it was created to be worn over a bikini from the set, and it is hot, I love it, especially when you have a solid or sheer option on the HUD so that you can actually see the bikini if you choose. I fell hard for it as a top though, at least once a week I have planned to feature it, having already done the bikini long ago. I think I am going to beg Cynthia to make this as an actual top though in future, so it can be worn over mesh leggings or jeans etc, or maybe even just a crop version of it, because honestly the sleeves and neckline of it are what have me so smitten.

The leggings are a perfect look for it, and they being bakes on mesh, gave me the perfect fit for these adorable slippers with socks inbuilt by Breathe, these I will not lie, make me giggle so much, because I would never, probably also because no matter how cold it gets down here, it has never gotten that cold that this would happen, so this is my playing dress-up so to speak, which is just fun, also gave me a chance to wear my arm warmers by Fashionably Dead again, love these things. The beautiful ornament that I am holding is one of the many Gothmas Market items available as of later today, the soft opening is in full swing if you are in the Juniper Events Group, more info on that below. I am also wearing from the same event, these ornamental earrings, that are PBR and just make me feel all Merry and Bright.

Now to my face, I have been all about the lashes lately, and these new ones by Nuve are fantastic, options abound and you can use them in applier form for a variety of heads and brands. They are tintable in solids or in designated sections like shown, makes for a lot of fun for the holidays. Adding some star glitter and some beautiful make up options also from AlaskaMetro, I hit up her store hard the other day. Could not actually believe there was items that I did not already own, so it was a mix of shock and joy all at once. Rounding out the look with this delightful hair from lamb, an older style but that headband just made it all the more festive and perfect for the look.

Scoot – No One Owes Anyone a Sale

Sasy Scarborough - Scoot - No One Owes Anyone a Sale

Did you know that if you CTRL ALT F1 you can hide your UI in Second Life. This is very handy when sharing screens live, doing tutorials, or just screen recording for various reasons. I bring this up, because I have had this tool tip in my 1st life section of my profile for many years now, and the other day when at the Welcome HUB this as old as I was Resident, suddenly burst out in open chat with ‘ YOU CAN HIDE YOUR UI, OMG How did I not know this” and I had to ask if he had come across that in my profile, to which he said yes…the reason I asked was because he is not the first person to find it and have that same reaction, the last time I got an IM about it, and how it was so cool to now go forth knowing this. So if you did not know that, you are welcome…if you did know that, then all I did was fill your mind with a whole lot of words, is not the first time I am sure, and definitely will not be the last – I hope. You of course do the same again to get it back.

While sharing information, it’s worth noting that there are a lot of sales happening at the moment. Black Friday, which was once a very American tradition, has spread globally and become an expectation. For some, that expectation has turned into entitlement.

Over the past few days, I’ve seen some shocking comments, and I have to say, as my title points out: No one owes anyone a sale, no matter the time of year. This is especially true when it’s based on a holiday from one country. In many other places, sales are more common around Christmas or New Year’s. This creates added pressure for stores, as they might feel obligated to run a sale now, only to face demands for another sale less than a month later. Add to that the expectations around events like Fourth of July sales, and it’s clear how much pressure Second Life store owners are under.

Here’s how I see it: if a store you love – or even a new-to-you store – advertises a sale, then yay, what a treat! But if they’re not participating while others are, take a moment to appreciate their circumstances. Many creators rely on their income and might have limited time in Second Life. Setting up and running a sale, then restoring everything afterward, isn’t as simple as people imagine. While some vending systems allow for quick setups, they require preparation in advance – and that doesn’t even account for newer items that need to be added. It’s not always a flick-of-a-switch process. Even if you are grumpy about a store you want to shop at not having a SALE, please just keep that to yourself, it just reeks of yuck to put it out there as though anyone has to do so, and even worse threatening with no longer planning to shop in their store because they didn’t, that is actually not just entitlement, but bullying.

You cannot title a post Scoot and not have the Boots to back that up, and I do, and they are lovely. Mellow Ellie released these Camden boots with a Group Only incentive to not delay on purchasing them. For this weekend only (30th & 1st only)  they are reduced for group members, so definitely a reason to hop on over, and also pick up the group gifts, and check out the previous releases. I like the options with the boots in the full pack, as well as the special colour, which decided the colour theme for the post. They are a great plonk around boot, and I loved pairing them up with the girlyness of the outfit. Tres Blah is also having a Sale until the 3rd of December, and I picked up this open cardigan and eyelet top set. I had to fatpack it, as the tops are wearable on their own, and the cardigan fits over the top so well, that I am fingers crossing it will work with other tops in the future. That eyelet fabric is always my favourite, because in the 70’s it was very common for girls clothing, and one of my favourite dresses had it, and it just makes me so happy. I am wearing with some new denim shorts from Kiwi Co. which was previously Blueberry, and they do have an option of wearing a belt, but I decided to not go that route.

Sigma is having a SALE as well, and this super necklace not only looks great with the outfit, but it was by default already set to this plum cord colour, Bloggers Fate strikes again. I liked the shape of the necklaces gemstones, because it kind of gives off horseshoe vibes, and I just like the hints of country to my city girl look. The rings are also from Sigma and you can turn off the rings, chosing one hand or both, or one ring on left and the other ring on right, it is up to you. Beautiful waves of Exile hair finish up the look and I am going to go and get a lot of work done now, wish me luck.

    On my face

Sasy Scarborough - On My Face

So the other day, while logged out of world and catching up on some work, I was perusing Facebook and a post by the owner of Alt 3 caught my attention. It included some Genus items, and accessories, and as soon as my eyes fell upon the cuffed lip attachment I was sold. The lashes also looked great, but at first glance my mind took them in as appliers, I was so mistaken and then some. I tpd to the store and a lovely layout it is, when I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were demos for both. The first thing I did though was demo the lip cuff. I have been wearing the natural pierced mouth from Genus for a long time, using the included ring piercing, but recently changed to the heavy mouth option, which looks similar enough without the piercing. But as soon as I saw this cuff, I was ripping my mouth off and adding back the other – having all my parts in my favourite wearables makes this super easy to do. I tried the demo and it was as perfect as advertised and the price was incredible, so that was a huge yes, buy, do not pass go. Then my eyes ended up at the lashes and I saw DEMO and thought, that is rather odd, as lashes do not tend to go the demo route, and then realised that they were in fact actual attachments, not appliers only. I grabbed the demo, put them on and insta love. There are three different sections that you can tint, you can make glow, there are different options of thickness of lash strands, as well as a gradient option, this set gives so much, and I love them. They come made for particular eye shapes, but I think they are all covered – Almond, Bunny, Cat, Foxy, Mono, Puppy and Round. As mentioned and excitedly so, they have demos, so you need to go and try them and all of the other lovely items at Alt 3.

Also super excitedly, Fashionably Dead has these new pants at the Belleza event currently, which happens every two months at the Belleza mainstore grounds. That does not mean though that items there are only made for the Belleza body, the creators that participate include all their regular body types, so definitely worth a spin through. These pants are gorgeous, you may have noticed that I love a wide legged pants, and these make me so happy, because the colours available make them must haves. I was looking for some casual footwear to go with them and funnily enough found an unpacked set of sneakers by Fashionably dead from a Gacha that is eons old lol, but how perfect they match, we may have to entice her into doing a set similar again. I have mentioned many times, that I love my inventory, I love that it is full of new and older items, and that mixing things up is still possible. That can sometimes mean that something I have on may be unobtainable now, but with much of Second Life, there are often other alternatives that you can purchase or may in fact already own, the images are inspiration for the looks. Speaking of older, this tank worn as bakes on mesh layers is a gorgeous style, it only came in three colours, why I do not know, but the colours it does come in are perfect. You can still grab them on Marketplace.

I needed a bom layer shirt so that I could wear my jacket by The Kiwi Co. This was their first release, and I have wanted to feature it ever since it came out, but I am glad that I waited until now, because it was just the right style for this look. The Kiwi Co.’s recent release though was a collab look effort with Truth Hair, and this hairstyle is the one that was the outcome, it is the Ceres hair and while it looks adorable with the bandana, it does have a bandana off option as well which makes me so excited to have those two looks as well as style HUD options. Definitely a go to for many things hairstyle to have.
