Wake me up before you gO gO
The other day I was checking out a store and found the most incredible items, of a theme that is not my cup of cocoa in Second Life, but I totally understand if you are going to go there, you sure as hell should have the most funna items in the grid to do so with lol.
So condsider me the Nanny Elf, because I have in the past had a whole group of little people around me and played all day, lol was way too fun, watching a conga line of cubbies trailing up a mountain. Anyway, again rambling lots and lots and lots. So anyway, the builds are all 10×10 and my way of thinking is that these would either make insanely awesome gifts for friends expecting, because over the years you will always see someone ask about such things in chat groups.
Or if you take out the kiddie aspect, such as the furniture for little ones, and the change tables – yes even those – then you could totally rock out the space as a photo prop if they are themed how you need. The first being Drow is incredible, and could also be the perfect room for a haunted house this halloween. In the first pic I am wearing the complete Elf avatar as well, skin, hair, clothing it all comes in the set. The designer behind all these pieces is Gocha Merlin of !gO! an incredible mix of items in this store, so you need to check it out.
I had to keep the hair, skin and ears on, they are too delish.The next theme for a nursery is Tipi, all fur and woven fabrics in beautiful rich colours, and if you want to one touch can close or open the front of the tipi. I could so see pulling this build apart for the pieces for RP, the chandelier, the bed and sofas, and all those amazing rugs, not the mention the tipi itself are amazing. The sweater I have on is also from gO and the way it is made was so in keeping with the look, I put it on over the new items from Eclectic Apparel, the Calypso bra and slip dress, I will be showing more of those soon.
Next up is this fun wearable afk device, I did hide the glow parts in edit so you could see it better, my glow settings are nuclear. Not only is it fun to wear, but you can also change the message on the take, to either AFK, Busy or My Space…I have seen a few different variations of this type of thing, Whimsy has an awesome one, but this one is a touch more relaxed and again makes a great photo op, with me wearing more clothing from gO which is the Goth Doll set.
Lastly for now is the Mermaid nursery, I had to put it out there in Fashion Emergency that Queue the fabulous Hair Designer Mermaid needs to have a baby lol, just so we can get her this as a pressie, or again pull it apart and just enjoy it yourself. If when I had started SL there had been mermaid outfits like this from Bare Rose, and rooms as cool as this one, I don’t think I would have lived on the land at all, I was so disappointed in Second Life and the inability to live underwater back then. Even know why can’t they give you the option to parcel space without water 🙁 it would be so cool to still have it outside of your build.
The animations I am using when not on poseballs of the build are from the Chocolate Addict AO by Body Language, if you haven’t seen it you need to, it is adorable on all sorts of crazy levels, from looking like you have ants in your pants, to just tra la la ing as you walk, so adorable.

Muddy Waters can’t keep me away
First off friends list, my apologies for the crashity crashes. I really wish Second Life was a little bit more stable the last few days, it has been a bit crazy.Call for Couture starts tomorrow, and there are as I have said so many items that are worth checking out, one of which will be the release of new shoes by Maitreya Gold – not shown here, but I did get a sneak peak of those and the Auction ones and they will not disappoint.
With all that crashing some items did not rez for me well, one of which was the PXL skin that is the pret a porter item for CfC, it is a stunning make up, but every time I crashed I took too long to rerez that I gave up and wore some of the same line with which is comes from.
On the left I am wearing the So Many Styles Pret a Porter set, the Autumn set is a oversized wool sweater with a beautiful cowl neck, the skirt is one prim sculpted and full, making a lovely silhouette that was matched in part by the large hat from LeLutka. It also matched incredibly well to the two tone boots recently released at LeLutka so it was all win and all happy for me.
The look on the right is a mix of G’fields recent, and available at Call for Couture Bolero coat, so stunning and it comes with three length options, this being the short. A little dressier of a look, with the In Hibernation dress by Addict also from Call for Couture – I love seeing Kianna push herself into higher end fashion, so this is a start of more cocktail frocks to see I hope. The combo worked a treat with the Hana shoes from Maitreya Gold, the frills at the back working so well with the ones from the jacket. The whole ensemble creating a backdrop for these insanely beautiful jewelry pieces from Donna Flora, the Mari set is hers for Pret a Porter, and wow just wow, Donna Flora always impresses and the range at CfC and at Jewelry Fair will have you drooling.
If waiting impatiently for Call for Couture, I suggest spending some time at the four Jewelry fair sims until it opens, as well as all of the other events happening this weekend, it sure is a full one.

A post called Gidge
So yesterday I got TP’d by Fiachra, and accepted immediately – not like him, when I send one he IM’s me with all the who’s what, where and why’s pfft. So anyway, I landed and instantly crashed, due to my draw distance being at 512. But as I was crashing I went oooo I wanted to come here all week, so how fortunate is that.
Newdoll had done an incredible post on the latest Mia Snow skin releases on the concept of DÃa de los Muertos – Day of the Dead – and the skins are just gorgeous. So I came back after turning my draw down – you can do that before logging back in by the way, hit ctrl P at log in screen and your preferences open up. When I got back in my head id assumed there must be an S or something for Fia to TP me, as a big crowd was standing around, and so I started clicking on all the semi rezzed prims, only to have a message come up second later that I had won the exclusive skin in the mini mania machine. HOW COOL WAS THAT!
I love it so much, I may just have to go back for more, there are also some incredible Zombie sets there to check out with Halloween just around the corner. The latest styles from Frou Frou just totally work it, especially the demeter on the left which has such a sleek bob effect in a totally different way about it. Perched on top is the Macabre top hat by Ripe, who are at Jewelry Fair, their items are just adorable in a dark and glorious way, the hat is so cute, and modify, so I was able to tint it red in edit linked to get it to match my whole look. The Macabre jewelry on the right also comes with that wicked monocle which even though I already had I would have searched high and low for, because it was actually also in one of Mia Snows ads, and looks so damn cool.
The Clothing I am wearing is from Call for Couture, and wow is that ever going to be an event and a half. The style on the left from Malt and on the right from Baby Cakes, perfect for the skins and hair, as the skins make up went so well with Malts Red and Black dress which because of all the layers can be broken up into perfect seperates, and then you have the Baby Cakes on the right with the adorable bronze trim that goes so well with the autumn crown that comes with the Gigi hair, it can totally be worn without too, so you have lots of options.
The stunning shoes are from SLink and are their Pret a Porter item for Call for Couture, the style being a mix of stilletto and wedge, giving you the lines of both in such an open way. I love the concept of that, it kind of makes your feet breathe a sigh of relief that as high as they are, they have a solid enough foundation to dance the night away…I myself thought it and Whimsy said so too, that the toes part would be even cooler as an open option with toes, much like was done with boots by Slink in the past.
Jewelry fair opened today, and yay for the grid going down, always a great sign for an event as big as this, means it will be a huge success. Much like how it rains every Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in Sydney and then stops just moments before it begins lol.
Call for Couture opens on Sunday, so stay tuned because both events have so many incredible items I will be sharing over the duration.

There’s a Fair down there
Jewelry fair is coming to towwwwwwwwwwn. Oh and just noticed it looks like I cannot tint my feet, well that is just lighting I did after the fact and am too focused on wanting taco’s now to fix it. I fixed it, it was annoying me, lucky I always save a new copy when doing anything to pics. Apparently it is taco night at Hempy’s house and it is all I am going to think about now.
More hair base tattoos from UnBra, seriously if you haven’t run over since my last post you are a nut…they are super duper and a real good deal price wise, with demos available you can see what ones work best with your skin. So as I was saying, Jewelry Fair starts tomorrow and I got a sneak run around with Whimsy last night, we had Newdoll in voice and kept showing her pics as we went. As Whimsy would say, Dear Mr Internet, please make a thingy that will auto add links to things I type and link to often. Thanks in advance Sasypants.
Or if anyone knows of stuff that does do that, please let me know lol.Oh yeah Jewelry Fair, ran around the four sims, the theme is Beauty and the Beast, I am thinking they mean the original with the rose and stuff, and not this one which I loved so much as a teen. There are market stalls and castle walls and lots and lots of pretty treasures. There is even a kissing booth. The money raised will go to Oxfam International , the money will be from auctions, fees charged to participate, and also some vendors willl have special items out in their booths at 50% going to charity. You can see on their website some of the items that are set out, and it was a great mix of RP Jewelry, fashionable accessories, and truly special keepsakes.
The first items I am showing from my purchases running around, are from Cento Pallini, new to me store and all win, from their stunning onyx pieces, to the one that won my pisces heart, the Blessings of the Sea set. So pretty and just the right colours to wear with the new Miel items Elle. Brand new sculpted and non sculpted seperates, to wear with many options of clothing, not just their own, but as usual their colour pallette is amazing and works so well on past releases. You not only get the main colours, but light, mediumand dark and striped versions of each.
I am also wearing the latest skirt from Berries Inc, the store has moved to new location main store wise, and the store looks wonderful. These new skirts have such a folksy charm, very late 60’s 70’s, kind of like the cord ones we wore as kids, well I wore as a kid, I don’t know what you wore unless you were a kid then, yes Sasy has had way too much redbull.
It is going to be one hell of a weekend, we have Jewelry Fair starting and Call for Couture, both amazing events, so you best be clearing out the closets and making folders to pour the newness into.

Call for Couture from Flash Gordons Rocketship
Call for Couture is in the final stages of setting up, the vendors are set out in a follow the road kind of style, and I for one like the idea of walking up one side and back down the other, that way if you did ‘hmmm maybe’ over an item, you are definitely returning to its location on your way back to the start.
The idea of Couture vs Pret a Porter came to Keira Seerose she tells me while in conversation with some other people, fine tuning the idea was the next step and then executing it. There have been many ‘Exclusive/Auctions ” over the years, but none to my memory that have given the viewers a little nibble of something extra to take away with them. Not everyone can guarantee that they will have the funds for the highest bid, but to be able to still buy an item that was made for the event is really nice planning.
I for one would have liked to see more designers pushing themselves out of their comfortzones, or even their own known for style, one stand out for me at the preview that did do that was Hucci, those that are familiar with her work know that the usual hucci style is just that, HUCCI. The gown that was produced for this event as the Couture item was stunning, and I do hope that the designer considers delivering more of that style in the future.
CHIC Management are organising the event, and over the last few months, they have not stopped with incredible awareness events, and charitable ones. So be sure to check out what they are up to next if you want to be part of something well organised and for good causes. This cause is The Samaritans which are a non judgemental organisation that helps those that may be feeling overwhelmed with what life throws at them, and could possibly be feeling so at a loss that they feel suicide is the alternative.
Having lost a friend at 18 to suicide, I hope that this event helps people understand what OTHER options there are. I think that this cause is a great one. The donations will come from 50% of the Auctioned items, but also there are donation kiosks in the sign at the front of the landing area.
The first items I am showing are from sYs a new to me store that has a definite Cyber theme running all through it, we actually went to check out the store itself tonight too, and wow what vendor ads these items have, really impressive work.
The skins, the shoes/boots, and clothing is all from under the same two sister designers roof, and are fun and sexy. The items are no mod but have a hud you can use for resizing, this was a new approach to me, and I am not sure if it is a script resources thing, or just another system, a bit tricky at first but overall worked well. The clothes and boots and skins are all at Call for Couture, so be sure to check their space out when your there on the 10th of October, so only a few more days, or of course you can visit their store now for some of the items.
The hair base tattoos I am wearing are the new release from UnBra skins, and wow the styles are awesome, I am so in love with the blonde one that you could even give up prims for this altogether if a tight short style is your thing. Very Madonna in her big suit days, there are demos and lots of options, i will show more in the next post.

Share the Viewer 2.2 Beta love
Thank you Linden Labs, I appreciate your intense desire to please me at all times…and this newish feature in the viewer has made me happy face indeed.

Whether you be a Designer/Creator, someone who likes to send random information to many people, or you just love to spread the love…this function is wicked awesome.
You may have noticed it in your inventory lately, and may have wondered what it does. Well if you haven’t yet tried, do as I did yesterday and spam your whole friends list at once.By right clicking on any item with the correct permissions to do so, and of course something that you have permission to share, you will get a drop down, and at the top it will say SHARE.
Once you click the SHARE button you will get a version of your friends list pop up in a box. Then you can choose who you wish to send to by holding down ctrl and clicking on each person, whether it be two or three, or hundreds. Then once you press the button it will show you exactly who you chose to send to in a list, mine yesterday was HUGE. I also forgot to say you don’t need to respond, because for the next half an hour or so I got IM after IM letting me know they got the notecard I sent out ♥ so adorable my friends list is..
So if you do send regular amounts of items, and until now have relied on opening each profile one at a time, or gone the scripted route, you need to no more…so now if Linden Labs would just give me the ability to section my friends list I will be doubley Chuffed.

Under the sea
I love a good glittery look, and the ones I have on today are super glitzy. Metalics and glittery fabrics are really not easy to pull off in Second Life, and the ones I have on here are just wonderful.
The store is Sassy, and yes I couldn’t resist checking it out. I was greatly impressed, I think I bought most of the store, and could easily go back for more, especially seeing as there are more than one option in most items. The four looks up top are actually two sets, you get both options of each, and there are a decent range of colours in both.
The change in styles around the store are fun, and interesting, ranging from casual to clubwear, to latex and grungey. I really like that there are enough looks to suit most.
The shoes I am wearing are the latest from DeLa,I for one am chuffed that DeLa has gone back to making shoes, not that I don’t love all the clothing that has been released in the past years, but these shoes are SEXY HOT! The amount of detail in the Marie’s are gorgeous, the straps, and ties are just fabulous, they have an incredible sheer netting over the top of the leather that up close looks just amazing. The HUD is so easy to use, and it was one button click to match my skin.
Maitreya has released more hair, it is one hell of an exciting week, two releases within a few days of eachother, and for all the hair fans it is all win.The two pulled back styles tuck behind the ear and look so pretty. The whispy strands make it so easy to wear this hair, and the fact that they look like other versions of the styles that Maitreya have been releasing over the last year, so for those that rarely change, this is the time to expand your look.
The new Nellie skin from Laq is the latest in their more mature skin range. The mouth is pouty and full, and the body as sensational as usual. There is a nice spread of make ups in the range, and I for one think Nellie looks amazing on so many different shapes as I have seen many wearing it so far. DEMO DEMO DEMO.
I am so in love with the new C – Spray necklace from Essentia, a really high end fashion accessory, like pearls on a spray of ocean fronds, it is divine to wear, and you can change the strands to gold or silver. Demos in the store to try on.

We went down to the river to play
While Mel was recently away I sat and pined on my new Lovers Garden. There really is a sad option, but I didn’t want to put it on the post, because with all the pretty Mel and I pics, it ruined the yummy.
Lovers Garden is a beautiful small space you can rez wherever you have the room and the 12 prims. In this case I just rezzed it at The Deck behind one of the builds so I could still work and take pics and chatter with Mel, Whimsy and Newdoll….multitasking all the way.
I was able to grab him to myself for a moment though and get these great shots. The Lovers Garden not only have single poses, but two pages of couples poses, and some of them are just all fun. There is a falling together into the bed of flowers that you have to try out for yourself. Easy to use, and easy to love. It is created by Eku Zhong who it seems has many talents in Second Life, so be on the look out for more from her.
The store is a treasure trove of low prim furniture from roll down desks to smooshy couches and incredible balinese outdoor furniture, so pack up the kids and grab the trailer, because there is a whole slew of shopping to do.

Officers chat is a way to keep girls out
Things I learned today: that there are still some places possible at Jewelry Fair, so if you have been umming and ahhing STOP IT! and get in contact with Eolande Elevehjem and get your store seen by thousands. Other things I have learned is that Gidge Uriza is a Gnome lover and likes to Gesticulate with Elusyve Jewell, which sounds almost forbidden, but apparently is all the rage, so in this post I decided to Gesticulate all over it.
The stunning gowns I am wearing today are from Baiastice’s new collection, and the whole collection is just WOW. It is often a discussed topic, the whole Season vs Weekly release thing in Second Life, so many prefering instant hits, but then many being blown away when a true fashion house comes out with a whole collection, inspiring and amazing their customers.
Leaving us wondering how long did it take, was it a theme of inspiration, did some items just fall into place while others were weeks of pain and suffering…did the hats come after, or where they always intended? and so on. The whole range is just delightful, and while much of it is wear as intended, you are able to find little pieces amongst that you will be able to mix and match if you work on it. I for one am gaga over the hats, so those hopefully will be worn over the next few months.
I am wearing the Trinity skin again from Redgrave, this time in the pale version, last time was tan. Different make ups and such intense eyes, Trinity is smoldering, and I love that in a skin. Make sure you Demo it and the other styles at Redgrave.
The hair I am wearing is all from Frou Frou, the styles are so glam and easy to take pics of, with minimal alpha they are a bloggers dream. I heard a whisper that there will be two more styles released shortly, so make sure you check notices on What’s New SL for info on that. I cannot wait to try them on.

It’s a healthy self interest
I have it on good authority, that to self love is to share the best of oneself with oneself, how much better than that can it get? When spending the evening swanning around in lingerie, you really get to enjoy the freedom that is Second Life. Both Newdolly and I went to visit Mel as he was rebuilding his store, and to his surprise we were both in lingerie…we decided to let him think that yes as all men predict, women do spend theiir time frolicing around in the knickers and gently nudging each other with pillows of the soft and fluffy variety – and no Mel is not that silly, but it was a good giggle for 2.3 seconds.
Today is Sunday, and on Sunday we will be having the opening as far as I know, of the Luxuria department of 5th & Oxford. What is Luxuria you ask? if you do not know then you best get on over there and see for yourself, or you can keep reading. Luxuria is the Lingerie department, that Roslin Petion has been working her delectable buns off on. Lingerie is something that she creates for not only the beautiful woman within, but for the manly man to admire and delight in. This lingerie is not just sexy layers to wear under clothes, but the true starting point of all that is woman.
It caresses, it entices and it truly intrigues, it is soft and beautiful and enough to make you fall in love with yourself first, and let the man come in second…and if your man knows whats good for him, he will always come second.
Gigglefits, I so want to leave it on that note, but lots more to talk about. The skins I am wearing are just gorgeous. The London skins come in lovely tones and divine make ups, the mouth is just hot hot hot. Glossy lips that have a definite petulant pout that we all find sexy as hell. I really love the shading on the skins the bum is great, especially for lingerie, and it is all about the DEMO DEMO DEMOs so be sure to grab lots. With Cupcakes though there are so many superb skins there, that if this one doesn’t grab you maybe others will, so plan to spend some time there.
New hair New Hair NEW HAIIIIIRRRRRR. Wow wasn’t today crazy with releases. Maitreya released some beautiful updo styles, and I am wearing one of them on the left, with a texture change headband, it is a lovely ballerina looking style, that will get so much wear this season.
Buy it all and have a marvelous weekend, I am off to get Newdolly some lashes like I wear, full prim no alpha, all win.
