Rocking Tibet
Whimsy Winx is going to be assassinated today if she keeps pushing into me with a freenis.
Seriously she is going downnnnnnnn. I saw June Dion today, and one of the latest items she has released is the Yangchen Lhamo set, a Tibetan Rocker set as she herself called it. It has a definite mix of that, and for me it reminded me of Sgt Peppers lonely hearts club band lol. Either way the set is killer cool, and the pieces are exceptionally crafted, as usual it comes with a variet of options, the others being way more colourful.
I love how she has done the pants in this set, she has made them very lowrise, with the upper portion of the waistband as part of the belt, the fit was incredible for my shape I didn’t have to edit it at all. Going with the rocker theme I opted for the Spike heels from Slink and seriously these are some heavy duty pain inducing shoes.
It is love love love for the hair I am wearing now and in the next post. It is from an incredible store called XPlosion, the store is Neko themed, but the styles are a definite mix. From Hair to Skins, with clothing mixed in, it’s fun for all the family.
The Hair I am wearing is just gorgeous, it is Lilli, and it has a diamants option as well as a normal. The skin is also from Xplosion and is just lovely , the tones range from the one I am wearing to darker tones, there is also a big must see for many an all over freckles range. So many different make ups, and at the moment only 3 hair styles , but you are going to want all of them, they are just gorgeous, you wait until you see the next one too :P.
Todays AO By Red Queen is the ETrangE-I again such incredible animations, using the slow animations option in advanced I was able to capture a downward fly for one of the; what looks to be standing poses. The animations are sold seperately or in full AO form, so take the time to check them out and look at them with photography in mind, not just as an AO.

I’m a woos, no it’s true, I have blubbered so many times this week it’s just whatever. But one thing that will absolutely tip me over emotionally, is the idea of a friend being hurt. I even mean virtually, don’t ever ‘headshot’ gesture in front of me, coz I will go off my nut at you.
That’s why I am sure to get spanked for this post, especially from Newdoll who will be all indignant that I am wearing a cyber heart, as the idea of her wearing a steampunk one a few weeks ago, spun me out.
But that is the way it is, when you are constantly surrounded by people that reach out a little from the norm, we all do it in our group, and it rubs off. It’s funny because we all have such varying tastes, but end up loving such similar if not the exact same things, as you have seen recently in some of our cross over posts.
Mixing it all up, I went to [rQ] earlier today, and was playing with the hair, tails, ears and animations.
I think it makes so much sense for Hair Designers to make tails and ears, I mean you have the customers already wearing your hair, so why not give them the option of their other parts being in the same rich textures, and these Kitten tails and ears are just win win win.
One thing that I love doing is shooting animations. If you have read my posts in the past you will know this isn’t the first time I have done this, and also won’t be the last.
Red Queen has some incredible Anime AO’s , which I will be featuring over the next few posts, the pics today are taken from just one of them, and I could have taken dozens more pictures with them.
Magicka Moonites is the creator of the AO’s from Red Queen, and between her and Ruth Quan the creativity and energy is wonderful.
Tips to taking pictures of animations:
1. Unpack the AO just as though it is a box.
2. Load them into a posestand – I use the VR Professional Posestand and HUD.
3. Change animations just as though you would poses, but be patient and let them run through the whole animation before you start taking pictures.
4. If the animation has a lot of fast movement, go to Advanced > Character > Slow Motion Animations and click on it. This will slow them down so that you can shoot your pictures a little easier, do not forget to uncheck it when you are done.
Shooting animations is not only a lot of fun, but it actually extends your range of picture taking, giving more flexibility to the images, as well as actually giving you a lot more picture options in the one animation, which can actually save you money in the long run.
The other great part is that when you have animations to shoot with, things like incredibly flowing hair or tails such as the ones I have on today get captured in movement, and it really is fun to shoot that way.
Wanting to show off as much of the Red Queen skins as possible, not only do you get light and dark brows, but also a ‘Damage” look, which I thought was fun to wear after my obvious and so graceful fall.
These skins as did the first release, have such lovely toned bodies, and incredible make ups, making the eyes a definite feature to the skins make up.
I swung by Paradisis on my way home, always one for baring some skin, this store does not disapoint. I actually got much more than I shot, but you can see a bit of a mix in the items shown.
If you have been looking for more in the way of shorts with suspenders and sexy thigh high stockings, then the Hands Off set is a MUST HAVE. I am also definitely in love with the set shown in the top pictures which not only have creamy stockings but also thick rubberised and holey leggings over the tops.
The Wrapped Boots I am wearing in the top pics are boots that Ashia Tomsen of Inventory Episode keeps asking me if I have gotten them yet, I HAVE HAVE HAVE NOW. I told myself I had to wait a few weeks for those and some other items I have to go grab soon.
Boots like this are always so fun, they definitely add a spring to your step, and whether a little ball of energy like Ashia or tall like myself, they are such fun. Also fun for boots, and sexy by name and nature are the Kinky boots by Utopia, I have actually taken the shiny off these boots in edit, yes miracle of miracles they are mod, funnily enough many kinky things are :P.

Lime in the Coconut
It’s now officially Bandana Day, YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. So for the next 24 hours I and hopefully thousands of others will be “replacing their hair to show they care”.
You can still buy the Bandana’s at Hair Fair 2009 and as it is nearing the end it is alot easier to navigate around, so make sure you check out all the other fabulous booths, and consider buying up the styles that send part of their proceeds to Locks of Love.
The lovely full piece Yolanda swimwear I am wearing is by the talented Milla of MichaMi. This swimsuit is elegant and stylish, with a definite 70’s appeal.The colours are just beautiful for the sunshine, and will have your skin tone – whatever it is – looking fantastic.
I couldn’t think of anything better to mix with the Carmen Miranda inspired Bandana by Whimsy Winx of Virtually Dressed. She even put the lime in the coconut at the back, what’s not to love.
I went to pixeldolls tonight to grab something for Arabella Steadham of Arabella’s Amblings, and while we were there I poked my head in Sin Skins, which I haven’t done for a while. I saw a skin that was a must have for Whimsy, for a post she has planned coming soon, and then my eyes were captured by the skins I have blogged in the past, but the more creative ones of the range.
This is only one of the ones I just had to have, and with it’s sequined look detailing framing the eyes it is over the top yummy.

Garage Days
Ashia of Inventory Episode and I went shopping this week, we dragged poor Meko along, Ashia’s partner opted to go back to The Deck and afk for a while lol.
In the middle of all this I realised that I had been meaning to get to League all week and took that moment to go. I had not only wanted to see their new release for that day, but the skins that were released last week.
I grabbed Misty and Ashia grabbed Misty and Kate, since then Arabella has grabbed Misty and I dragged Newdoll over who got Kate lol. Lucky for us we all look different in these fabulous skins.
These are fat pack skins, price wise and make up wise, the range is delish and the skins themselves are just gorgeous. Now why didn’t I get both skins, well you all should by now know the answer to that, with the clothing changes I can do in a day, and most of the time in public, I am not going to risk that my clothes are lower than the hair line created for a particular skin, and as sometimes I have to change and tp all in the same moment, thats too great a risk for me.
For now I will just have to make sure I am fully aware of which skin I am in. There are four different options in the skins themselves, hair or no hair as a skull base, thats awesome because the hair line on the skins can add such a lovely look to some hair styles.
The other option is BT which is the League skin equivelant of a push up and in bra. Which as much as I don’t mind either way, came in really handy for the sitting on the crate pose lol. DEMO DEMO DEMO and take all your friends, because we all had a blast together and seperate and then showing eachother lol.
The money I didn’t spend on the other skin, I spent on the Jeans and shirts. The New Garage Jeans are just fabulous, not only their texture work but also the sculpted pocket flaps with built in handkerchief that texture changes. The Garage tie shirts are also splendid, with the winged or skulled back option they are fun and sexy to wear, and of course with the BT skin option its all win.
Later that day I was running around The Deck sim, and literally bounced into Naith Smit’s store. I have to keep my eye on him because he puts in newness when I’m not looking. As an Aussie it is all about the UGG boot, but these are definitely not your average Ugg. Pink and covered with Donuts, what more could you want.
Also from Naith Smit’s store is the Rock n Rolla Rosary Beads bracelet, fun and resizable and just the right touch to match the Rock n Rolla Uggs.
Even though I know this hair was so obviously created to be a formal uppydo, it is so cute with the seperate Tiara , that I was just loving being that playful in it. Plus I’m Mel’s Princess so nerrrrrrrr.

Hair Fair Extension
Thanks to the good and generous people at Beta Technologies, some understanding Lindens, and the Hair Fair participants…Hair Fair is being extended until the 6th of July, that means that many that wouldnt have been in world until the weekend will still have a chance to visit before the end.
Due to all the sims going down at various stages the first two days, we have extended the fair until the 6th, Hair Stores participating will still be able to set up in their own stores on the 5th as usual, but we will be able to have all of that wonderful hair in the four sims for extra time. This is exciting news.
Do not forget to visit the Auction location at the Hair Fair, Brandy Rasmuson worked so hard on getting this area set up , the chance to big on exclusive hair from some of your favourite designers is awesome. If you bid and are outbid your money will be returned to you, please make sure that when you bid you know that the money will come from your account in the meantime.
Also don’t forget Bandana Day is the 3rd of July , the day when everyone replaces their hair with a bandana in support of those that have lost hair due to illness. All the bandana’s are located at the landing points for each sim, different ones at each location, all 50L and transferable. So make sure and buy a few and gift to those that can’t make it, always good to have some spare for the day.

Australian’s In Second Life
Right now there is much talk about Australians like myself, being banned from Second Life, not only Second Life but many other online worlds and games, yes they are clumping us together as one.
At the moment there are no really ‘Official” statements to this effect, but a lot of posts, forum chatter, and news articles in world and out of world on this matter. I have been getting IM’s all week from friends asking if it is true and will I have to leave if it is etc.
At this stage we do not know, all we do know is that if this does pass, that many lives in and out of Second Life will be effected. If you care about this issue, and believe me you should, because it is the kind of thing that if it works in one country others will try it too…then please go and sign this petition and do as much as you can to help.
You do not have to be an Australian to care about the outcome of this, you just have to care.

At last years hair fair, well prior actually, I had the pleasure of running all over the grid setting up kiosks. It was great getting to meet so many creators prior to the event, same with the year before with the guess who event, I had at one stage every single hair designer on my little platform in the sky…it was a hair addicts dream.
One creator who I hadn’t come across prior to that was the owner of Discord Designs, and when setting up the kiosk I didn’t even get a chance to check out the goods, but the day before we opened I set off for her booth and it was instant wooooohoooo.
This year was no different, and of course the many woohoo’s in between. Pairing up Discord Designs with Uzuri kind of seemed a no brainer really, and as I had a clothing folder just dieing to be seen, it had to happen today…so much so that I even jumped off my stand to go get more Uzuri.
Points to the earrings ♥ they were made by special request, the textures part was , the earrings were already a must have, that just got a whole hell of a lot yummier in the Turquoise. Make sure when you are at Uzuri you check out the boxes on the floor, there are two full of free clothing, that I know was on the wall for sale only a few months ago, so thats one hell of a bargain.

You know it’s not just men that laugh stupidly at so obviously naughty words.Ok maybe we don’t laugh the same as boys do, but we do notice when something is named something that is a bit tongue in cheek so to speak, or maybe it isn’t at all, and some just have dirtier minds than others – and by some I mean me.
So when Newdolly tpd me to the location of the first dress, yeah I wen’t “oh my” and then had a giggle, and it still makes me laugh just thinking about it.The dress is adorably cute, and the store was actually next door to where Newdoll was showing me in the first place.
Stardust Flapper was a perfect dress for the Pixie Hairstyle I’m wearing, tight and curled in just the right places, it has that look of the 20’s, with modern styling products.
We all know I have my purple condition, and I still stand by my round about notion that I don’t hate it exactly, it’s just one shade I cannot handle, and if there are other colours to be had , purple tones would rarely be a choice over others. But I have to say I am so for loving these Grape pants. They also have a long version, and they did have cuffs, but with the capri length , the way cool piping in white, it was too hard not to combine them with the latest Cross Laced Up Heels.
Showing three of the colours available in these shoes, they are with feet and toes, so yes you will have to match them to your skin, or do as i do , match your skin to your shoes. I love how these wrap around the leg, the wide straps of leather look soft and generous in length, the bow at the back is glorious..make sure you try on the demos to make sure they work with your shape, but they do definitely come with resizers inbuilt.
The tanks that have the slight lift to work over belted pants are a win, but even when not wearing prim attachments it just looks cute having that little bit of exposure. A little bit casual for the Sienna hair, with its slight waves and mid length it all works. Seriously the pants are YUM.
Ophelia is a gown to delight the romantic senses, not just in it’s full gown glory, but with the tea skirt that is belted at the midriff it’s just divine. The creamy fabric decorated with soft smatterings of leaves and flowers is just so delicately beautiful. This is the kind of gown that alludes to being truly a princess of nature, for me it is like coming alive from the forest itself.
As inspiring, the Alethia hair is beautiful also, and combined they make one hell of an impact. The hair is adorned with coins and chain, and would definitely make great hair for Kajira and anyone for that matter in silks, but with the Ophelia Gown it was just heavenly.
More newly released skins in the Elegance series, firstly I am wearing the May in tone 3 as well as the Elegance Emotion skin in Serene and Happy, all the skins in this range have great character, so it is just a case of finding the right one for you. YAY DEMOS.

Paradise
I came across an adorable store today, very Elf like in build, with a kind of space age mysticism added in. Instantly I thought of Beauvoir of Maitreya. If you have ever seen Beau you would know why. So this is what I would think he would wear if he was a girl lol – dodges the smack.
Ok he probably wouldn’t show his tummy as much as I am, but still it is such a beautiful store and he makes me smile everytime I see him. On a seperate note, I once did a pic pile up of him and Onyx so maybe it will give you insight into what I am rambling about, it is HERE .
The clothing is all from the same store, the range is magnificent, and the prices WOW you just really need to get over there and look.
Being able to move through a store like this, and just really love the textures alone is really lovely, even if the style isn’t yours, you really cannot fault the execution of each design. One thing I didn’t notice at the time, is that all the perms differ, some items are no copy, some are no transfer. I rarely ever pay attention to that as I keep everything , so unless I am on a mission of gifting it rarely matters, but it is nice to find a store that does actually have such lovely pieces that you can give, just make sure you check first.
When I put on the first set I knew that it needed more magic, and the jump to the Inspired Sparrow wings was simple, these wings are stunning and with the sculpties being perfectly shaped and xcite compatible, which is a giggle and a half sometimes. The wings beautifully compliment the Asian Flower necklace by the same creator but in a different store on the same sim. I love when creators branch out of their comfort zones, but keep to their own names so that fans of their work can really grow alongside them.
There is nothing better to me than open fronted or short fronted long skirts, I love them RL and SL, best way to show off boots there is. Yes with flexi skirts your boots are going to jut through regardless, but its so nice when it has a little more realism to it.
Angelina boots are slimline boots in a crushed leather look, so very detailed, with the laced up backs and full length inside leg zippers – the toes are pointed to Whimsy Winx standards of acceptability *snickers*. Another beautiful feature of the Angelina boots are the seam up the front, these things are as real as can be.
All of the clothing was available in at least 4 colours, and green fans unite, because this store loves us…and not just green but THAT green, the soft autumn like green that is just cherishable, yes I almost did do the post entirely in green lol. Many of the outfits also had other options, such as the black Insect Latex set on the second pic, that has the sheer open look top and bottom, as well as the closed, so even more bang for your buck.
As you can see also, you can wear the skirted outfits without as they do come with pants options, and some even came with a second pair for boots, those were made on another pants layer though, not underpants. There are mens items also at the store on the second level, so be sure to take your partner, and if you are into RP definitely give it a visit, because the prices are amazing, and the work is splendid.
I really love how they look with the Timeless IIÂ skins too, with new make ups and a lovely canvas to show off such lovely clothing, they also come in a freckled version. As usual I love the mouths on this skin, and the way the eyes are shaded gives them so much character. Make sure you give the Demos a spin, maybe even grab them on your way to the clothes.
I couldn’t resist wearing the Maitreya hair either in this post, as the white is always hair Beau wears, and the new styles look fantastic on Men, and now with the NEW Tones, Beau has actually changed to Silver and once you see the demos of the new colours you will see why, it is GORGEOUS.

The majority of todays items are from the same stylish store, I was able to visit early last month, and yet until now hadn’t really been able to make the most of that visit. Shame on me, really truly. What is the most pleasurable about the shopping experience, is the overall range of skill within its many, many walls.
From shoes, to handbags, Jewelry and clothing, with the recent addition of a new range of beautiful skins.
With Hair Fair in full swing, it is really nice to see some changes in the methods that stores have used in the past. Dernier Cri has had the dye pack method for some time now, this being the second Hair Fair the store has been part of. Now instead of buying as many wigs as you need to make a pack, only choosing one colour that dyes permanently, you now have one pack with a beautiful assortment of colours that dye back and forth on the one wig, this is actually a much better deal financially than in the past, unless of course you only wore one of their colours ever.
All three styles are from their Hair Fair 2009 release, and I am looking forward to seeing what Asuka has in store for us with the summer break. Michelle, Kim and Jenelle are the names of the three styles top to bottom. All three have a lovely full effect, and work really well casual or dressy.
The style of clothing as you can see is the same, dressy is definitely the style of choice for Baiastice. I am wearing the divine Blue Twill set, with System skirt love in a highwaisted style look. Beautiful lace shirt underneath, and the added layer of a petrol blue bra from Dutch Touch.
The shine in the fabric is even lovelier when worn with the Querelle shoes also from the same store, the shine and strappy pointed toes style, all melds well together.
In the next picture I blended the Silk Hug in white pearl together with the long Gloves from Fleur, the scarlet contrast with the pearlised gold look is a beautiful way to go against the safe black look. As you can see the dress is somewhat revealing, and with it being sculpted you will need to modify, but they have done some of the work for you by adding sizes 25 – 65 breast sized options going up in multiples of ten.
With the very glam look, I had to take it further by adding the Lotus Tiara from the Lotus set from Bare Rose, because sometimes you just need to dress like a Princess. For more shiny and definitely more red, the Natasha shoes from Tesla are delightful, not adding the straps this time, but for a sleeker look.
As you can also see with this dress, and so far with the faces, the Donnarama Gloss skins are just gorgeous, the shading on the bodies is beautiful, and the make up is HOT HOT HOT. The detailing around the eyes in the make ups is just gorgeous and you will find yourselves captivated by the choices.
Going out on a date, or for drinks with friends this next combination is a win. The Soft Silk top in silver is a lovely kerchief style top, with the added bonus of three different metals choker attachment, that holds the soft and silky fabric in place – or at least the illusion of it.
Definitely a favourite is the Sophisticated Grey Pants, a mix of sculpted pieces, with flowing ties and really well crafted pieces, create these dressy shorts. These come in many other colours, and they are just wonderful, great for the upcoming warmer evenings without losing that stylish look of the evening.
As I mentioned Baiastice also has handbags, and the Crocodile Bag is just one of the many I fell for on my visit. It’s a smaller bag than I would think of for a bag of this style, but the fun part is that it comes with a resizer script, so the bonus is that it enlarges fabulously, so if in need of a carryall or overnighter, a few clicks on the bag and you are done.
Make sure you try on the skins at Baiastice as soon as you can, the lips are just gorgous, and it has brow options and all, so it should work for all types of skin fans.
