Yesterday I featured part one of my Hair Fair 2019 styles and now I am up to part two. I am very excited to share these styles with you, as sometimes seeing on someone other than the ad changes the perspective of the style, that is what blogging fashion in Second Life is about for many, giving the reader an alternative to the creators’ mindset.

Exile has changed its system for purchasing and launched that new way at Hair Fair, which makes for very happy customers. The packs are now all in one, with styling HUD and tinting options, so talk about more bang for your buck. Not only did Exile create stunning hair for the event, but there is also a gift and they built their inner to the theme of the event itself, so that is just gorgeous. I love the softness of all the styles, but my favourite part has to be the tiny knot pony on the half updo style, it is just there and fabulous. So many styling Hud options for all styles.

 

Cae is one of the invited Hair Accessories creators this year, and her pieces are just delightful. Everything comes with texture change for gemstones, pearls and metals, and I am in love with the soft and rose gold metals. The headband has me feeling like a Princess and all of the barrettes are separate, so you can wear one two or all, or make copies and wear multiples of the same. All of the pieces looked so neat with the Nora hair by Slink that is also at Hair Fair.

 

Sintiklia is always one to please with soft waves of sexy goodness, but this year with the addition of Delilah she just changed the game altogether. This style has so many options, with and without the heart clip but keeping the hair cut to the shape, the longer bangs, the shorter bangs, the whisps that curl around the neck, this had me intrigued and then as soon as I put it on I felt like Charlize Theron so that is multiple wins right there, this hair is art and if you do not collect it you will regret it.

 

Chain has made some very feminine styles and this one with its beautiful braid at the back is just lovely for so many looks. It also has options to turn off the long parted bangs, and I really like the corkscrew style waves. I did want the other style very much but it did not fit my head at the hairline, but I do plan on revisiting that when I have a chance, so if it fits you out of the box, you can tease me about it later.

 

Fabrixquare approached us as a newer store and I have to admit once I saw the shop and bought a style I could not get it off my head for a week, in a good way, so bouncy so why we all loved flexi so much for so long. The interesting thing about these styles is they all only come in black HA HA HA HA HA for once I win at something. They include hairbases, and the creator started out by making them for her own photography and has expanded from that, and they are just great, especially the pony tails. I did have to move some pieces around on the full hairstyle – wasn’t it fun when we could do that, and only because of my angle showing them from a side not correctly – but it was easy as and just a fun look overall.

Tamelss has a mix of all styles in their booth , this one was my favourite of them all. I love the all pulled over one shoulder look, bare necked very sexy, and the side parting, it just all comes together very beautifully and gave me a chance to do some ears, that I have not done in a while, it just suited the hair, the clothing and the feeling of the style.

I still have many styles to do on the Blonde Sim, goodness I am glad there are only three sims this year or I may not have enough time.  Stay tuned for Part 3 of Blonde then moving on to Redhead.

Hair Fair is now open and it has been a great turnout. With two weeks of this event taking the time to see everything can be a going back and forth affair, and I already know just doing this post that I have to go back and grab a few more things from the regions already shopped, and looking forward to the one and a half still not finished.

The DEMO group is still a great thing to join if you haven’t yet, as you can try the demos at home in preparation, it also just gives you that chance to wear what you like, in the environment you like while you do. Info on that here.

There are 3 sims of shopping and 3 cam sims, so you can get as much shopping done as possible with ease, everything is low impact builds repeating textures low etc, so turn off other people and go wild.

I am splitting up my posts so the first featured styles come from the Blonde region. There are a few things to know about the stores and the items.

The Ayame Ame hair is so divine, and you just have to get their gift as it is a selection of stunning hair accessories that you will be very upset you missed out on. The styles are all very editorial looking and this one is pretty much everything you need in that kind of look.

Slink has redone their hair HUDs now including all in one pack, which makes deciding on colours easier when like me you swap around a lot. They have made over their materials too and added some sections zones to the styles depending on the style itself allowing for a mix of colours if desired. I am all about Hat Hair as anyone who has read my blog or met me in person may know, and this Millie style is just the do for me. It has multiple colour options of the hat and hair ties and I just love it. The Imogen style is a straight cut style, which with the heavier bangs is just delightful. Materials are subtle and you can just turn them off in edit if you wish, usually, I would but these are subtle enough not to need to.

EnVogue has created a really delightful full-length style, soft waves that cascade down the chest. The hairbase look is actually part of the style and instead of it being so frontal it is actually further back to look more natural. I was a bit chestier than needed to wear this style, so I pulled out the Slink petite Augments chest add on and voila, perfect.

Tram has similar-looking styles but they do vary more than one might think, the style on the right actually comes with a mirrored version so you get the left or right braid look. I also had to grab the two sides braid option, and the hair is just both casual and stylish all at once, I can also see some of the little ones grabbing this as it is really adorable.

I love the masculinity of many of their sets, and this Vindustria set (Vintage Industrial) is just gorgeous, the materials, the leather and metal work…I can just hear it as I push it across the floor in my loft to reorganise my space.

The sofa and chair both have texture change options, with colours like caramel, chocolate and licorice, as well as this cranberry and lovely cinnamon, to name a few. You can buy the individual pieces, the set or just combine adult and pg if you need it that way, it is up to you. Everything is controlled via the Ds symbol on the back of the furniture or a click at the base of the seats. I adore this set and so much of it there, I am going to need to rez some more homes.

I am planning the day ahead with my Baiastice shirt dress and sandals that are at this round of Uber, they come with bra and panties options to turn on or off and have contrasting prints for a bit of a peek a boo bra thing going on. The belted waist has texture change options and it all very make your own style out of clothing. The shoes also have options for contrast and are just a great summer sandal.

I was loving this hair yesterday but as it did not expose the back properly for the blouse I was wearing I had to let it wait, but today I can rock this gorgeous centre parted style. The way things are going, how beautiful it feels sitting here in this space I might be here until Sunday.

There are a lot of things I know about wearing mesh, how it works, what is involved in creating it, how it should fit. Most of the time I am aware why something does something, and on a rare occasion, I have some kind of a breakdown in what I know vs reacting to something I see at the moment.

I was doing a round of some weekly event a few weeks ago, and I fell head over heels for an item of clothing in a store, I tried on the demo and saw that there was no Slink Physique Hourglass option, but it did have a Slink Physique Original option…this blouse was so stunning to me that I was ok with that, I could swap between bodies as needed. I then purchased the fatpack and on unpacking saw that there was, in fact, an Hourglass size included. I was confused but thought my goodness maybe it was added after some release, but if Hourglass seekers were thinking they had no option based off of the demo, this was a terrible thing. I contacted the creator, thanking them for making such a stunning blouse, and that there was no Hourglass in the demo, and they may want to fix that so everyone like me could snap up this stunner.

I bought other things, also beautiful but my heart was taken by this blouse. I went home, I put it on and was playing with the options as the colour worn today was the demo and I had not noticed anything odd, it also had a demo sign and was in a different body size, plus as you can see I was taken aback by the back… such a beautiful blouse. I put on the satins, the prints and the solids and to my dismay, the buttons were clipping, the shirt was folded along the shirt front, now this is not actually separate mesh it is smooth across the chest it just has the texturing to give the illusion of a button up shirt style. So the overlapping had me in shock and that is apparently where my brain broke. You see I was so distressed by this, because of the love affair I wished to have with it, I was blinded from common sense. I panicked and tried on other versions, thinking that perhaps the one I had on had been incorrectly labelled – that has happened many times to me, always check other sizes if something seems to not fit in a very big way – but alas no. I realised that the dark colour of the demo and my excitement and it being the other body size had somehow blinded me to seeing something that I would not have usually missed. I already had the creators IM open, as I had contacted them about the demo etc. So I took screenshots and I sent them a message explaining there was an issue.

Then a few days later I was trying on a bikini top, and the join at the cleavage had a bow and the bow was distorted and my very chill mind went oh ok I see what is going on there, because you remember I KNOW THINGS!… so as I have done one trillion times before, I went into my shape and adjusted my cleavage join slider. Now this slider in our shapes is the fixer of many things, and one is when things in between your breasts either stretch or overlap (in some cases it can even help when the outside of the breasts are poking through the mesh slightly…I KNOW THIS! but I will admit that in the trillion times it has happened before it has been on tops that came in close to the body, bikini styles mostly, it is often because the shape the creator is using to build on is shape defined by their own settings so if you are off the mark then that can cause issues. So imagine when my embarrassment to have this knowing stuff brain kick in for the bikini top and then my realisation that it did not kick on for this gorgeous blouse. Because yes folks that is exactly what was happening, the same change I made to shape for the bikini fixed the blouse and the rest is history. So when I finish this post, I will be IMing the creator of this magnificent blouse and apologising for my brain meltdown that day and thank her again for making such a divine top that I want to wear with all the things.

So here is the perfect blouse that I love called Vintage Blouse by Ane worn with a favourite skirt by Miss Chelsea. I plan to wear the blouse with pants, jeans, everything I can. The strappy shoes by Breathe were perfect for the style – these shoes are part of an event that works at the event and in the store together, the black and fatpack are at the event only, the colours singular are at store, fun idea giving people the chance to visit both. Just make sure it was clear that I was definitely owning my error, this amazing crows headpiece by Zibska worn atop the Haven hair by Exile just has me styled to the nines, tens and elevens.

You know when you just want to make yourself a little nosh and then all hell breaks loose, well that is what can happen if you have an infestation of adorable Red Pandas by Mutresse. These gorgeous animated critters come in various options, this hanging one is actually part of the breakfast tray with food and pose, I cannot imagine being able to resist sharing if this was to happen. They are part of the current Arcade event, which ends in just under a week, so be sure to head over and play a few spins.

With the chomping of greenery, it leads to a very floral theme for the post, with this very feminine top and shorts set by Mimikri I had a great canvas for my look, with touches of red added with these great pieces by Lode in the shape of these floral headphones and vase with flowers. Keeping up the red the Diana heels by Utopia Design are stunners, in a mule family they are strappy goodness with such great leatherwork and a sexy heel shape plunging to the floor. A strong straight heel like this is a must-have.

I had some of my hybrid hair fun today with the babyhairs hairbase by Izzie’s teamed up with one part of the Janelle hair by Tableau Vivant. The style is two parts generally and a great backcombed look, the centre parted front section is great, but I opted to not use it in this post as the hairbase worked so well on its own, and it gives me more flexibility on accessories. The two part hair makes it possible to resize the front section when worn to fit any heads and not need that part to be fitted, very smart thinking from over there at Tableau Vivant.

I got these glasses first pull of a Gacha machine at Mudskin while the girls were playing with skin demos. I was fortunate enough to be gifted this skin by Ashia when she got it multiple times from one of their previous skin releases, and it is just lovely.

The glasses pulled my whole look together, with my adorable Geek Chic combination of track pants and Tank. I am smitten by these pants, they are by Tee*fy and the leopard print is just wonderful, I also love that you have the added options to change the waist and cuffs to different colours so that I could tie it all in with my great tank by Miss Chelsea.

Garbaggio has these amazing runners at the SL16B event, and there are so many options of colours and combinations, it is staggering, the other times I have purchased shoes from them I spent the day changing colours every ten or so minutes just to say I did a whole fatpack – I am odd like that sometimes. The exciting thing is that they come in male and female sizes, so definitely must haves.

Another must-have in my opinion is this hair by Runaway, the other day I was wearing Zoe which I love to pieces and then when over there having a look around I found this style which is the down equivalent of Zoe, and I was so excited. I love following a theme for hair, and this has styling hud options and breast sizes and it just rocks my world.
