blog – Mame
I have mentioned in the past that I love old movies, grew up watching them every saturday as a kid. One of my favourite movies even though it was made in my time, is Mame. I was 2 when it was made, but the age I would have been by the time I saw it was around 7 and it had all the charm of an older film. The Elaborate costumes, dancing and singing…it was an adventure for the senses, and Lucille Ball played the main part – what is not to love.
The outfits I have put together today totally remind me of that idea, the over the top eccentric fashionista of days gone by. The Tuxedo Revers Jacket is incredible, and would totally suit either dress pants or a long gown skirt. I went with the more casual but totally Dynasty power skirted look.
Ready for an executive luncheon, to overthrow the majority this next outfit would be perfect. The macrame body suit, comes with enough options to wear as one, or over pants or a skirt as a top…I went with as a tucked in top with some goreous tweed pants. The Backstabber Sunglasses were impossible to resist, not just because of the name lol, but also the size and pretentiousness of them.
Wrapping all of this around the Brooke Skin in the nightfall make ups, a fantastic skin line that keeps on allowing you to dress up or down depending on the make ups you choose.

blog – Gala plays Cupid
New Skins can brighten up any day, and what is more funna than romantic cupid themed skins for the upcoming Valentines. So I was thinking with that I need some Lingerie, and seeing today is Wing Friendly day I decided to keep burrowing in my folders for some more.
Of course more by Material Squirrel. Over the years I have been lucky enough to gather many different styles from the Material Squirrel range, and it was so lovely revisiting them. I even found some Relay for Life ones circa 2007.
Even the lingerie I have on starts back then too. Aradia would probably be the oldest set in the collection, named after Aradia Diellie of course…and as lovely. Again going through the items from way back when until now, was like a trip down memory lane. Camilla has been creating some of the finest lingerie for so long now it is definitely a staple go to for many older residents.
She hasn’t been creating as much as she used to, but if I she asked what people would recommend she make more of, I would have to say Latex, because WOWZERS does she do an incredible job on it. Seriously the latex collection she released a while back is superb, I just wish there was more of it, even in other colours.
I kept to one colour hair for all the pics in this post, as you can see lol. The Caramel texture by Maitreya is such a lovely soft highlighted brown that it goes superbly with the brows of the Gala/Curio skins.
The latest release that will definitely be out at some stage tonight or tomorrow is Cupid, as I said perfectly in time for Valentines Day coming soon. The make ups as usual are inspired by the name, beautiful and soft in colours that can only compliment the theme. The lips are made for kissing and the eyes are set to entrance, a heady combination all atop the incredibly sexy body we are so used to in the Gala/Curio skins.
I suggest going through your lingerie and wing – kickin it Victoria Secret style – and be prepared in advance for Valentines Day, nothing like giving your partner a little taste of treats to come. My treats today were also in the form of Body Language – Sweet Lovely Cute … Body Language opened up at The Deck today and all the AO’s and Modeling poses are laid out to tease and titillate me. The ones used in the post are a large mix of the poses, shot in a way as to show that it isn’t just about top to toe, but a shoulder and cheek, or a back upper torso can really extend the use of beautiful poses.

blog – Wing! Wing! why don’t you give me a call
I am wing friendly, yes it is true because Kala deemed it to be. I am actually flattered by that, the concept of being something friendly is really nice, and that fact that it is my blogging that makes it so is something that I will be always proud of…so thank you Kala for making me smile amongst a week full of insane Diva’s.
Who can blame me though, I mean the wings that have been produced by Material Squirrel creator Kala Bijoux have now and always been such top quality. Watching her adapt to not only sculpties but different technology over the years, and her professionalism has always been of the utmost customer care.
These twig wings are so delightful and the pearled texture on the wing itself is gorgeous. Teaming them up with the latest release by Scribble, how awesome is that store, I have loved watching how Scribble just does it’s own thing, no fads here just good clean fun…unless of course you find a way to turn their latest notepaper into dirty little messages.
Last night I took Justice to Fantasia, I hadn’t been in a while, and I knew that she would love the creations there. Sure enough she did, and I ended up grabbing a few pieces myself. All of the styles in the Fantasia store – and Elementals next door – are generally geared towards your Gorean clientelle, but seriously I am so not letting them have this creator all to themselves. Both dresses I am wearing are from there, and are sooooo sexy.
I have a theory that the Gorean girls in this group are all cheeky little minxes, because the styles that Dream creates for them are like NO Gor I have seen in my four years here. The crochet dress is perfection, revealing and keeping you covered all at the same time.
I am again wearing the Charlotte skin by Dernier Cri, these make ups come from the Valley theme and they are just beautiful. The face in this skin is so intriguing the more time you spend in it, the more you can honestly find to adore. Totally the right tones of make up, and soft smokey sweeps of the brush to get the look just right.
Time to Shop ……. asta la pasta as Jussy would say.

blog – MUST HAVE
In the middle of last week Fiachra TP’d me to something that changed my whole SL . It gave me back something which I felt I had lost, and totally changed how I want people to look at how they live – in Second Life.
From early on in world, we aspire – many of us – to own our own slice of paradise. Whether it be a 512 plot – I still have mine – or a whole sim. But unfortunately, regardless of the size of your land, you end up not exactly living the way you dreamed of – of course not the case for all.
I have been lucky enough to live on full estates ever since the first few months in world. I have had whole sims at my disposal, but alas always lived in the sky because the ground was of course always a business.
A platform in the sky, or a skybox. Usually security orbed up the whazoo as with blogging I change so much and often am left standing there half dressed while in IM with either clients, or friends – actually 99.9% of the time I am in meetings I am always clothed, just to clear that up.
But for the outlay of a full sim, to end up in a box in the sky, is a real letdown. Often you hear designers/creators in group IMs discussing that they spend all day in their skyboxes or platforms, or worse that they just never get out at all. They spend the time in an enclosed space, and wonder why they get down in the dumps… because lately I have seen a lot of that.
In first life there is a condition called Cabin Fever, usually this is because of the enclosed space, but with the added torture of nothing to do…in Second Life we are usually always doing something, but the prolonged isolation has definite effects on how we respond to things, and even how we create.
Even if not on a full estate, many that live on mainland have resorted to skyboxes, mainly to get away from the uglyness that is their neighbourhood, or to give a sense of space to a small parcel.
The place that Fiachra teleported me too is called Landscapes Unlimited and it has changed my life, as well as Whimsy’s and the estate itself.
The pictures you see in the top of this post are taken at over 3000 metres in the sky, the water was a gift to me in waves format for my ground level when I got The Deck – thanks Mel again ♥ – the rocks in the water are part of some outside sim reefs that I bought, which are a wonderful thing to have.
I was able to purchase the incredible sculpted land , that spans across my whole sim, once rezzed it is phantom, so you will have to add some mega prims along where you want to walk, I actually have one as big as the build just below the water, because I kept falling through lol. The other incredible thing is that the other night Mel and I sailed around my new area, as though on the ground level, and Whimsy and Gary have already used their jetskis on their level.
You see now a few hundred metres apart, Whimsy and Gary have a sim sized area of their own too, with landscapes and trees, plants and beaches…hers is so cool she has even built houses on either side of the mountains so that it is like traveling to a holiday house.
There are desert builds and more mountainous regions than mine. But whichever one you choose it is incredible, and adds so much to how you live.
If you rent residentialy on an estate, imagine if instead of land parcels going up, your landlord allocated altitudes instead, same prim limits but you had the size of a full sim…imagine how incredible it would be.
Or for people wanting to combine residential with commercial, you can do both, because your land mass isn’t in question.
There may be other stores doing this, I am not sure. I do know also that in some cases because it is aerial mapping that is used as a texture, there is sometimes size issues, such as most of the green on mine that looks like moss is actually trees from a great height. So look at which builds you like closely and see if they work best for you…there is a display platform that you can rez them, and even cooler they have demos you can take home to try out.
Thanks Fiachra for showing me how to have cake and eat it too.

blog – Sporty and Spicey
The other day I did a post containing one item from a store I had gunfire speed shopped at in the past, thing was that was only their satelite store – yay for satelites – last night Whimsy and I went to the main, and did some serious hardcore shopping lol.
Not only did we want everything in the store, I think I got most of it…but we were actually really admiring the build itself, also done by the creator behind the brand. Then wandering out into the courtyard, we found satelites of some very familiar brands, and some not so familiar to us ones.
We ran back and forth, from store to store – I ran Whimsy cheated with that double click move to thing she has in her Emerald Viewer – we wove back and forth, even going back to the original more than once…it was one of those really enjoyable shopping experiences.
We returned to The Deck and it seems we made an impact because a lady landed moments later who had been at the place we had just left , which was awesome. I have had such luck with the very 70’s sporty stripe look this week, I got some dresses the other day that were just like ones I had as a kid, and last night I got these so sexy skirts and shorts.
The skirts not only come on pants and underpants layers, but also jacket, YES that means glitchless so that you can wear your own cute spankies or panties. Mind you I don’t think spankies would fit under those skirts. Mixing all the pieces with some new items from LeLutka, in the Subvert the Office Shirt – chuckles because Marni Grut really knows how to name things – I did remove the prim cuffs for these as they were a bit too much for the look.
Some old and new Miseria pieces, I love when Miseria releases newness, I am so girl crushing all up on her vendor pics, seriously I have said it before, she has the CUTEST look. Luckily for me and everyone else, she also has the CUTEST clothing.
Some fab new hair from Magika, that Sabina woman is a demon when it comes to releasing consistently wonderful hair, every other day practically there is a release and she weaves in and out of all sorts of looks and styles, it is great. These two new ones are short bob styles, that can look both cutesy and classy, it depends on what you wear them with.
I was definitely channeling my inner aussie in the top picture, other aussies will know what I mean, and it isn’t just the thongs. I am wearing the Newish Belleza skin Alyson in all of the pics, in all of the tones. Subtle differences in some of them, but from pale to deep tan there is a lovely transition.
Very kissable lips, more cutesie as a face overall for my shape at least. I found it interesting that the skins with more make up looked younger, than the ones without which is often the reverse, but I really liked that you can still find a little smolder in there.
New to me, and the prices show there is some growth happening for J.Tonic. They have a satelite store at My Pinkie Skulls and the hair in that store is only 75L a colour, tping to the main after buying some there, we went to see more and found that they have changed to packs instead of singles now at a different price, so if you like scene hair, grab the deals that can still be found. Mind you the pack price is very reasonable anyway. So either way NEW hair , and maybe for you too a New store to buy out.

blog – To Designers
Mel and I have discussed this in length, to mod or not to mod. As a scripter, business owner and builder he has very strong opinions about what we put into Second Life, and what each person takes from it. He holds very true to those convictions, and even though he has done work for some big businesses in Second Life, he will and has also turned down a lot of jobs because of not wanting to make things that will just add to the strain on our resources.
Read what he has to say, and maybe look at what you are doing, and ask yourself what are the reasons behind your perms choices. I have found often that perms are based solely on what others are doing, but it is a big world, and there are still many stores out there that are allowing mod on their goods, and it makes such a difference when buying.
TO DESIGNERS
The designers of second life have gone a long, long way down a dark path. I’m talking about permissions – specifically the near extinct permission to modify. I think there is some hope yet for this neglected little check box before it vanishes from SL entirely, but it’s going to take some self-examination from the designers of SL, and a little education if there is to be any chance of recovery.THE COST
The first cost, is of course, the issue of ownership. If you purchase something in the real world, you own it completely. You get to do whatever you want to it… squeeze it, stretch it, paint it pretty or set fire to it and toss it off a building. In SL of course your ability to do these things in the best of scenarios depends heavily on your grasp of the building tools. If you’ve got the skills, though, you can make great use of them making the things you wear truly reflect your unique persona through immaculate fitting or other sorts of customization… unless the item is not modifiable. I’m sure that you as a designer and resident of SL have run into at least one situation where “no modify†put a wrench in your works. For some this isn’t a big deal. For many, though, it’s a slap in the face. It’s like saying, “You don’t actually own this. You’re just leasing it.†As a designer, you necessarily have your own sensibilities about how things should look, how they should fit, and how they should work. Currently, the fashion business seems to be devoid of empathy for this, and as a result, there has been a backlash from a portion of the SL community who feel they should have the ability to do what they wish with their virtual property.
One good example of this is something I saw in group chat in a group which is filled with some of SL’s best minds when it comes to the technology that makes it run. Someone had just purchased a pair of shoes, and on getting home found they were not only not exactly how she expected them to be, but also not modifiable. She had plans for these shoes… not nefarious plans, but she evidently had bought them with a particular outfit in mind and were they modifiable she would have certainly been able to make them work.
The group happened to be on the topic of permissions, so she mentioned casually that she would just have to copybot it so she could make it work how she needed it to. I had no doubt that she had no plans to “steal†anything, and I’m sure she didn’t go on to resell it. She just wanted a pair of shoes for herself that fit a very precise idea for an outfit and as a result of the permissions choice of the designer she was forced to either discard her idea which she liked, or discard the permissions which for her was a very simple thing to do.
This isn’t some rogue, or some jerk. This is a designer who has been around longer than 99.9% of the residents of SL and who runs a successful business. She has no need to peddle in stolen content, but she deeply resents not being allowed to modify what she owns. This designer’s reaction is to just side step the permissions and do what she wants to, but you can be sure that there are many others out there who go ten steps further and punish the designers for their cumbersome permissions by passing their products out full perms. I’m not going to say this is the origin of all content theft – certainly there are many different reasons people steal, but I guarantee it’s high on the list!
THE SCRIPTS
The choice to make something no modify includes another cost – scripts. There are several problems here, one of which has been in the Linden blogs since mid-December ’09 regarding script time. The resizer script is quite possibly the largest and most useless waste of sim processing power to hit the grid ever. The problem as of today is multi-faceted. Part of it has to do with a problem with the Mono garbage collector on the sim servers which leaks memory the more mono scripts it comes in contact with. The result is the more mono scripts coming and going from a sim, the faster it will run out of memory. This can take as little as a day, or on a sim with no traffic it can take forever, but in most busy sims it won’t take more than a few days for this to happen.
Now to understand what’s happening, let’s look at your average newbie avatar wearing an AO containing 3 scripts. Newbie Jane decides to teleport. The sim responds by carefully packing up the script state for those 3 scripts, sending all the data to the new sim server which unpacks it and gets the scripts running again as if nothing happened. Not a big deal! Now jane goes shopping, and buys a fancy pair of shoes and a jacket which are mysteriously no modify, but thankfully have resizer scripts! Newbie Jane goes to teleport back to their 512 plot and (gasp) the teleport screen seems to last much, much longer.
How strange! What Jane doesn’t know is that with her fancy shoes and jacket she’s now sporting 600 scripts… so when she’s teleporting, the sim needs to pack up 200x as much information and send it all over to the next sim. Shouldn’t be a big deal, right? I mean each script is probably only say 16kb of data or so… 16x600kb = what? Oh… that’s about 9 megabytes. For reference, it probably takes you 20-30 seconds to download a 9MB file off the internet. The big problem comes when one or both of the sims involved is already out of memory.
Sometimes the teleport will fail entirely, but if not, chances are that both sims are going to lock up completely for about 10-15 seconds while the sims stop and start all 600 scripts. The worst isn’t over yet, though. After the new sim gets itself running again, it still needs to run all 600 scripts. That will require about 11% of the sim’s cpu time constantly. Keep in mind, she’s not constantly resizing her shoes or jacket. Chances are she’ll never actually resize either of those things.
Even the most experienced SL resident faces the same problem with this merchandise. It’s just toxic merchandise, and unless it has a function to delete the resizer scripts, there’s nothing that anyone can do to reduce their toxicity, since you can’t delete scripts from no modify items.
Now with the changes LL is proposing for script usage for avatar attachments, it may turn out that none of these products will even be attachable 6 months from now. If an item uses too much memory, it will instantly be force detached by the server when you try to wear it. To quell the furious masses they are offering a new function which will allow scripters to make a resizer or retexture script which can perform all the same functions from a single script, but the bottom line is this whole mess is caused by people’s intolerable need to fit things to their avatar! Well, there is one very simple way to offer customers that ability, and it’s built right in to SL. Modify permissions. It’s the most advanced fitting interface ever. Just use it. It will be good for your business in all sorts of ways.
BUT I HAVE BEEN STOLEN FROM!
Yes, it is true that in ancient times checking the modify permissions box left you vulnerable to a certain kind of theft. With products that make use of sculpties or unique textures, though, this is no longer the case. The script function which describes the prim it is in will not report the uuid of its sculpt map unless the object in question is full perms. Now you may say but they can see the sculpt map in the edit dialog! Well, even if you didn’t use alpha to protect your sculpt map, if someone tries to screen shot that sculpt map from the edit dialog window, crop it in photoshop, then upload it again they will wind up with a lumpy, lopsided, terrible looking reproduction of your sculpted prim. In other words, it’s going to look like crap. The content theft that happens today does not attempt to use this process, though. The reason is it’s tedious, and complicated, and the results are very bad. If someone wants to steal something, they are going to use software that completely sidesteps the permissions system of SL. It is much faster, simpler, and yields perfect results. It doesn’t even require that you own the item you’re trying to copy.
CONCLUSIONS
In summary, if you are making your products no modify to protect yourself from theft, you’re not only failing to do that, you’re actually inspiring people to rip your product to bypass your choice not to let them modify things they own. If you are making your product no modify because you can’t stand the thought of someone tinting or taking a BeDazzler to your masterpieces, you just need to let go and accept that once you sell something, you don’t own it any more. If it looks bad tinted, well that’s not your problem, and I am guessing people who use this as a justification for making things no modify are just putting up a smoke screen to cover up that they think they’re protecting their selves from theft in a way that defies explanation.
On the issue of scripts, many products today depend on scripts to offer features that require one or two scripts in every prim. While being able to change shoe texture or size is neat and certainly adds to the value of a shoe, it detracts from the user experience immensely and in most cases people will not understand why they’re lagging or having trouble teleporting or any of the other issues that are directly caused by irresponsible designs. It is the responsibility of designers to make sure that their products not only look good and seem to function well, but also to ensure that their designs are scripted efficiently. It is not reasonable for a pair of shoes to require 10% of a sim’s cpu time to do nothing at all. It is not reasonable for a sim to suffer time dilation as a result of what people are wearing.
Some will say that customers request resizer scripts. It is tempting to say these people are idiots, and I’m sure many would, but the reality is these are just people who haven’t learned how to use SL yet. They don’t need resizer scripts; they need someone to explain to them how to resize things. They need a tutorial on the web. I’m sure they’re out there. If not, maybe instead of spending all that time adding resizer scripts to your merchandise, add a resizing tutorial to your web site, or make a notecard, or find one someone else has made and link to it.
Recently, though, someone mentioned to me how often customers request a resizer script if it isn’t included, my response was that if someone asked me for any feature that I knew I could include, but it would require so many scripts that it would cause sims to lock up for long periods, and make it difficult to teleport while using my product, my response would be “no.” It’s not the customer’s job to know about the limitations of SL. That is the designer’s job.
Mel Vanbeeck.
Now of course some things cannot be mod, things that form part of another item would be unfair to make mod, as it could then be used in a way to make a whole new one.
The thing is that times are changing, and if the threats of script limits comes into play, do you really want to tp one day and most of your items worn come off and you will not be able to wear ? also as a designer, everything that LL does change, you will be obliged to redo, to alter or replace. If your items were mod, in many cases you could arrange to send out a fix to all that have the items, and they could do so themselves, saving many hours or weeks of work.
Sculpties are the hardest things in the world to alter, as in change to get more out of it…if you are keeping your items no mod because you think that someone will make copies and recolour etc, then the best they will be able to do is tint, and that wont look good. If you want to make it difficult to alter your item, then look at ways you can do that.
* When making the texture for the base of a sculpted item attach your logo to the actual texture not just to a seperate prim, this will not only protect your items from an ugly tint, but it will in fact act as another security measure if copied.
* If you do not already know, you can take the sculptie map you make to photoshop and add an alpha layer over the top of it, it will look as though it is gone, but do not panic, the Second Life edit tools will bypass the alpha and read the map as intended. You can also do what many do and use alpha to imprint your logo into your map, so when looked at in edit, they do know who the original creator is.
* Be specific in the labeling of every item, not just the items you link, but even as far as naming each prim something other than object – again this will help with content theft and inspect – but if you also go as far as to name the item with the specific colour as many do, then if someone inspects to find out where a cute pair of shoes is from and they see it saying pink, and the shoes are blue, well they are then pre-warned they have been tinted.
With detailed texturing tinting is going to be even harder to get away with , but it is also going to be less likely to want to do.
I hope that everyone understands that this is something that needs to be addressed and soon, if the changes are implemented the whole grid will be effected, and with the lag already effecting us so badly, people are going to start buying from places that are known to care about such things. I have seen comments made in groups and outside of SL about not wearing items from particular stores because people cannot teleport in them, don’t ever let that become your store they talk about in such a way.

The Beauty you have inside
An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of apole
which she carried across her neck.
One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always
delivered a full portion of water.
At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot
arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only
one and a half pots of water.
Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments…
But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable
that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.
After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the
woman one day by the stream.‘I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak
out all the way back to your house.’The old woman smiled, ‘Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of
the path, but not on the other pot’s side?’
‘That’s because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower
seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water
them.’
For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate
the table.Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to
grace the house.’
Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it’s the cracks and flaws we each
have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding. You’ve just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good
in them.SO, to all of my cracked pot friends, have a great day and remember to
smell the flowers on your side of the path!Something we all need to remember each and every day <3 Thank you Mel for sending me this…

Mmmmmm Fruit. That would have to be the one awesome thing about sweltering hot summers, down here the fruit is fabulous. One of my favourite things is the fruitflo machine. They take frozen yoghurt – or icecream – and frozen fruit, such as mangoes and passionfruit and berries, and throw them all into this big drill bit looking machine, and push down to make a swirly fresh fruit medley iced treat.
YUM!, seeing as it is 5am-ish I will have to make do with the fruit alternative that is Berries Inc. Their latest release Mel shirt had me running right over, and then back again later last night. The styles in the store so far are separates and really well made. I not only really like the clothing, but also the actual showroom of a store, and the vendors. A lot of effort has been put in to featuring her goods in a professional and realistic store manner.
I really love that the Mel shirt has buttons on both sides of the opening, as they are more like little decorations than anything practical, because there isn’t a chance on earth that I would ever get that shirt closed. Especially not with the help of Luck Inc.
Those that know Gala Skins know that one of the things I have always loved is the natural fall of the breasts, but it took CK to show us that sometimes a lift or a squidgy chicken tender looking attachment – RL analogy – is a necessity, and created the Enhancers for Gala skins in all tones. So now by just wearing the undershirt layer you can definitely add to your decolletage.
The very mini denim skirts and the gorgeous studded cozy tops are all from Berries Inc, such lovely items, and really well priced. I can see big things coming from this designer, as she is already expanding her skill set by taking classes.
The store that makes those awesome sockystockingleggymathingies on the left had me at hello, I right click bought like a demon. So much fun, with vibrant colours and a fun quirkiness to them.
Did everyone go OMG OMG OMG OMG when they saw Surf Couture’s new hair release, seriously not only did we get the bargain of the century with three of them being 50L each, but they are so gorgeous I had to buy packs of the others as well. The style is so hippie chic, but depending on outfit can take on a whole new look, especially with the help of the texture change hemp band and ribbon tie.
I have always had a thing for dimples, mind you there was this one moment in history when I told a cute guy I loved his, and he told me they were lazy cheek muscles – rolls eyes , seriously what a butthead – I didn’t want to marry them, I was just giving the ego maniac a compliment. So because of that jerk for about 18 minutes I didn’t like dimples much, then I got over it.
Sunny is the latest dimpled delight from Gala, and the soft make ups are as usual just lovely for this not so innocent face. You will be wanting to get up to all sorts of mischief in Sunny, I can see it now…I actually went to school with a girl called Sunny and she was a handful and a half…Queenslanders usually are :P. The worst or in your case best thing is that with those dimples you will get away with it lol.
I am wearing 50L friday shoes by SLink, these are so 80’s tacular, that we spoke about her doing the kitten heel slingbacks with the bow at the toe next, fingers crossed.
New Poses by Diesel Works called Piper *strikes a pose* cute aren’t they? there are more to be seen at the store, and in posts to come I am sure. But don’t wait for me, get on over and try them and everything else for yourself.
Have a bonza weekend, and if someone compliments you, be gracious, because you never know when that person will get a blog and out you as a wanker.

I cannot get enough of shirts like this one, the style and texture work is just lovely.
The advertisement said ‘sheer’ but I thought at least I can wear a bra underneath etc. But as luck would have it, not too sheer and on two layers…so wearing both I was able to cover up enough to be sublimely happy.Sn@tch and Artilleri are a great mix/match combo, the retro style often sneaks into things that Ivey does. Whether dressing it up for a more conservative look, with the gorgeous system skirt from Artilleri. Or the casual look in the Burt jeans also from Artilleri – in the mens section, both looks make me happy, and a great way to get more wear out of these greatly styled shirts.
The new Mandy hair from Fri.day has a distinct retro look to it, with tied back scarf option. Scripted to change colour, and in such lovely textures. Combining all of this atop the Brooke skin by 5th & Oxford, this is the Kitty option of the Brooke skin, in two of the three tones. Make Up of course done by the talented Roslin Petion, which I thought was incredibly fitting due to my upcoming interview with Antonia Marat on TOO Sexy Magazine…don’t forget to join us for the party on sunday.
