Ok so the handsome and talented Winter Jefferson started a challenge you can see it HERE , I only found out about it by seeing it on Cajsa’s post, and I was so excited. I had been sorting out my BareRose this morning, finding a few random boxes in objects folder that I had yet to unpack. I was also only telling someone the other day that Fia only comes in world now to shop at BareRose, he opens Whats New and if he see’s B@R stuff he lands in the house and tells me brb, and off he goes in a puff of smoke, often I am lucky enough to get a TP lol.

It’s a weekly thing for us to go there, and sometimes more than once, we worked out a long time ago you have to go that often or the items will end up in the actual store store, and only once a month or so do I venture past the actual New Release section.

I have one pet peeve about BareRose *giggles* nearly every time I take someone there they win the ‘Just for being here’ prize, in nearly three years and over a hundred visits I have won once. I have come to the conclusion that it’s rigged to only give to those that are ‘Just There’, and not those of us that are shopping like crazy lol.

I didn’t find BareRose until a few months in world, but then I started working my second day so didn’t get out as much as I should have – don’t do that if you are new, spend a month at least just taking it all in.

I realised as soon as I decided to take up the challenge thrown down by Winter that I was going to find it very difficult choosing what to show, one thing about my inventory is that its all alphabetical, often I will ask friends to pick a letter and thats what I will go to for clothes, hair and shoes, it’s fun a bit whacky but its in order.

So I looked at my BareRose folder, that while open fits my whole screen and noticed that I have one of almost every letter, the strangest thing is that I don’t have an x, y or z, but even funnier is that I don’t have xyz in hair either.

I’m probably losing you on that. It goes Body Parts> Hair > Letter > Store Name > items, same with clothes, skins and shoes.

So I thought that what I would do is one item from each letter of BareRose with the same letter in a Hair Store.

So as much as I will want to talk on and on about every outfit I am going to try and not too much, that’s also because ive been on since ten last night and it’s now 7 tonight and I am starting to see triple.

I couldn’t start without the start, these are the first three items I ever bought from BareRose. I loved them so much then, and I still adore them today. I used to run around in Harajuku Pank all the time, it’s just such a fun outfit. Commando was dead sexy and also has pants that are longer , but I was fixated with my bum back then thanks to the Passport skin by CS . Shy Vixen I thought was very dark and goth like and for the time I guess it was, I really liked the knit effect of the fabric, but didn’t actually wear it much after the first purchase of it.

Being nostalgic and against the whole letter thing, this pic wasnt part of that, but the hair is all Gurl 6 and all purchased around the same day I bought these three outfits, and I loved them so much then and still do now.

Ok really not loving this WP thing argh, so anyway this next pic is the start of my alphabet. One thing about BareRose is that her method has always been to allow people on a budget the ability to still shop, this has always been something I admire and something that also Dark Eden has always given June credit for doing and has always wanted to try and keep along that same path.

This pic is A is for Alicia a stunning suit combination that gives you a few colours to choose from, I went with the pink because who doesn’t want a pink pinstripe suit like this one, and ooo la la look at what you get underneath. The hair is from Aden and I did have all of the styles names written down ,but my pc locked up and none of that text doc was saved, thank goodness all my pics were.

B is For Basilisk, it has open laced sides, chains and feathers, is there any need to explain the love, one thing I will admit to is having a die hard addiction to June’s Latex and Leather, if she only made that for a month I would be in heaven. The wild and fab hair is from bOON.

I am so cheating in this pic, I will explain in a sec.

C is for Cross Bones Lady , that tshirt always reminds me of a hershey bar wrapper, and clothing made to remind me of chocolate wins. The coats and colours of coats in this set are just stunning, superb leather work and I think the pants and belt are wonderful too. Hair is by Curio. I do know the names to at least 98% of the hair shown , I just feel bad if I get one of the 2% wrong, and I had to log out because seriously strange things are happening in world right now.

Now about the cheating, some of you know I used to blog on Appearance Mode a million years ago, well this challenge gave me a chance to revisit those posts, and wow there were a lot on BareRose, so I took the pics from there and put them on my flickr, it’s amazing to see the difference nearly two years can make to your posts, I still talk as much then as I do now :P.

So anyway in some ways I am redoing some older posts with this one, you can see old ones on there if you are curious. One particular item I was so hot for, and that was the Decadence set.

D is for Decadence, but in this case D is also for Decadence Maia, you see many many moons after the first June released a second set, she used to do that often, and the second was incredible because of the amazing bright colours, the yellow is amazing. She did change it a bit too, the original had a more open front jacket with a prim tie, but the second and that sweeping open neckline is just awesome. The hair is Deviant Kitties.

E is for Envy, this cute parka pack – theres that word again – comes in a few colours with denim capris, simple and fun to play around with, I am a fan of the toggle buttons on the ties of the hoodie, its that attention to detail that makes us all wow at Junes talent.

F is for Fantasy, I wore this so much when it was released, its a stunning style and the colours and prim work are exceptional, incredibly stylish and who can resist high waisted pants, this was definitely the sign of more high fashion items to come from BareRose. The Hair is from FFS.

G is for Gabrielle, again a stylish combination suitable for the business minded, the texturing on the skirt and jacket is wonderful and the way that June has managed to make a long tight look skirt with prims and pants is just remarkable, she is always pushing the envelope.The hair is from Gritty Kitty – confesses that thats one of the 2% I don’t know the name of off by heart.

H is for Hell Fire Lady, again incredible coat work with graffitied pants giving a very urban edgy look to the combination, complete with bandage wraps for the arms and thighs. You will notice too that many of the sets have incredible accessories, Jewerly and other items, and this is where I have to disagree with Winter on the transfer love :P. The hair is from HCT.

I do adore being able to run to BareRose and grabbing something I know someone likes, or I want them to see, and at the price if they don’t like it once I give it I don’t mind, but there are so many incredible pieces that come with sets from there, that I wish there was a no xfer option, but in BareRose doubling all those prims would be horrific, I don’t want to break up sets, but I know I would love to make use of all the pieces by having them in different places in my inventory, I’d also love to be able to make copies to keep safe.

I is for It’s Only a Paper Moon, I have no idea where the inspiration for this outfit came from, but it truly is incredible, the texture , the prims and the adorable lily and hat attachments, this gown is art. The hair is from Ingenue.

J is for Judy Tweedly, everyone has to love tweed, I saw that written in some really thick book once, so you know it’s got to be true :P. This combo comes with either the flared flexi jacket bottom or a tighter fit with the system skirt, Junes ability to shade a system skirt has me in all sorts of rapture. This is a definite need for this seasons cooler climate. The hair is from Junwave.

K is for Kaguya , When this set was released I couldn’t blog it,Torie knows why and thats cool, but now I have the chance to do so, this is a style that June has redone recently but this is still such incredible work and just made my jaw hit the floor when I saw it. It actually does come with its own hair also, but this hair is from KUROTSUBAKI.

L is for Leo Lady, when this series first started Fia and I were so worried that she would only do one per month when it was that zodiacs turn, thank heavens she didn’t or I would still be waiting for my starsign. The whole concept of these is incredible, and the detailing is divine, the claws do scare me I have to admit but everything about it is just Queen of the Jungle like. The hair is from Lagroki.

I hope so far you have been paying attention to the skins I am wearing too, there will be a quiz at the end 😛 j/k

M is for Mystic Lady, this is again a time to point out that many many sets at Bare Rose have incredible seperate pieces, and often you can search all over the grid for something that you would find in a set at BareRose, I know from years of seeing people ask for things that capes and cloaks are often much desired items. The ones in this set are fantastic, and yes ONES there are at least three from memory. The chainmalle loincloth armor is so damn sexy.

This is the kind of set that when you put it on you wished you roleplayed – ok maybe YOU don’t but I do. The hair is from Maitreya.

N is for Night Gazer, again the latex leather love comes shining out. this set makes me happy that my Vista AO has a crouch walk that does back flips, because thats the kind of moves you want to do in such a high action set like this one. Definitely a second skin it even made my bum perky. The hair is from Novocaine.

O is for Open my Black Heart, this is another older set I have blogged many moons ago, and the chance to revisit it thanks to Winter made me happy, the cute latex love mixed in with a night out on oxford street look that is unbeatable. Think the skirt is hot look at those pants, yes sculpted shorts that are just HOT HOT HOT, and you really can’t beat that hat. The hair is from Old Gravy.

P is for Pirate Princess, once a long time ago I used to have half a pirate ship in my living room, yes it was a pirate household, when this set came out with also the Pirate Queen version I was so overjoyed to have something so incredibly made that was also exactly what I imagine a female pirate would want to wear. The hair is from Philotic Energy.

Q is for Queen V,I have to admit this is the only set I don’t really get the name of. It’s an older style and really cute for just chillaxin, but again don’t really get the Queen part. The hair is from 69 oh I forgot Q was the other letter no hair stores for, so if you know any let me know, and if there arent any and you plan on making hair soon, then definitely consider starting the name with Q, X, Y or Z because myself and Whimsy both don’t have any with those letters – just realised she should look on the savoir hair blog before she makes such broad statements.

R is for Ran, this dress is just beautiful, simple and extremely elegant, system skirt loving all over the place , but if thats not your thing then totally consider the top with pants. The hair is from Ravenwear.

S is for Sentry Lady White, there is a dark sentry lady version that came out later. This was also a much loved favourite that I wore often before working in clothing stores. It has three different combos and I thought it was just too cool, I still do, but I clearly remember tping to a friend once way back when, and them just being in awe of such an item, that day they became BareRose fans too. The hair is from Shop Seu.

T is for The song of an island , another item I have shown in the past and last time I was with Jaydie and the lovely Manager of BareRose Tori ♥ , she is an incredible lady who I enjoy talking to often, she loves me for my chimera, and I love her for her. This set also comes with the shoes shown I mean WOW and that banjo WOW again. This is definitely one of those pieces sets, even the goggles are adorable. The hair is from Tekili Li.

Last one because I crashed at W and I have blogged it before lol.

U is for Ukifune, again a wilde and sexy combo in a huge array of colours in the set, what I really like about this one is that June has made the system skirt appear sheer at the ends to blend in with the sheer in the prims. This is very Xanadu/Amazon like looking to me, and thats all I need to make me whirl around all Wonder Woman like – thank you Jim and Kit for that gesture ♥. The hair is from UA.

V is for Vampire Fish, did you even know there was such a thing, this outfit is blood heating sexy and we know the Vampires like hot blood lol. A Few different options in this set, not only with either pants or skirt prim, but also the way the tops have been done, the one on the right is a bit revealing through the netting, so you will have to get your own :P. The hair is from Vixen.

That is my partial ode to Bare Rose, I personally show my love for Junes creations regularly as do many , and I wish that Fia had been able to get in world to take some pics too, but he starred in his own BareRose movie some time ago , so he is off the hook, if you haven’t seen that it’s HERE.

I want to thank Winter very much for this challenge, as sometimes blogging takes on a different kind of tangent; and it’s nice to step back and just appreciate why we do it in the first place. So thank you Winter Jefferson you made my day.

About those skins, I know you were getting all excited while I changed make ups and such, they are the NEW Anael skins from Bebae, and the other lovely Torie has moved to a new Main Store right next door to Nyla Cheeky of House of Nyla, I am planning on sitting right between both one day and having a singalong , Nyla will love that :p.

The tones are just lovely , and right now if you join the Bebae group there is a special Winter skin – hee hee Winter is everywhere – that is just beautiful and I am wearing that one in C is for…you can get it out of the archives and use it as a great demo to see the incredible shading on the body, I mean don’t look at my chest look at your own but you can soooo see what I mean, divine.

The Make Ups are ranging from simple to dramatic and there will be more in the future I’m sure, the new store looks fab and you really need to check it out, along with all the DEMO DEMO DEMO’s.

Feri Beckenbauer likes making things with lots of prims, it’s kind of his thing. One thing he loves making is armor sets, so when he sent me a special delivery awhile back and it wasn’t boots, that’s what I expected it to be.

I was mistaken, this set is far from armor, mind you there are parts of it that would definitely keep enemies at arms length.

The XXXFetish set from Beckenbauer Productions is primtacular, and before you pout, there is a Male version too. Now I have to point out – and if I had been wearing them it would be a pun – that I am wearing a top from a different store in this pic. The top is from the Fatality set by Paradisis,a great top that worked really well with the theme of this look, the top also comes in striped and sheer, so you could be more daring than I was.

The reason that I am wearing the top, well the XXXFetish set is ALL Prim, yah no clothing layers at all, and the only covering in the breast area is two very sharp and pointed pasties, they are very very scary looking, in the good scary way, not the bad :).

The collar, armbands and the waist corset style belted straps all have the very detailed spikes, and they are all so brilliantly crafted. My favourite parts are of course the full skirt and corset straps, the ability to try very different looks with this are endless, and the heavy fall of the fabric on the skirt is wonderful, I really cant wait to look at the guys set too.

Rather than going the fetish way with todays look, I went more of a Vamp style, with the Celeste Mono Skin with Crimson make up from Adam n Eve, this is just a recent release for Adam n Eve, but an adaption of an older skin, which is really nice, the revisiting of older products with a fresher outlook.

The hair is new to me, but the store isn’t. The Stringer Mausoleum has such wild hair, and even though I did buy another style, this one was definitely perfect once put together with the set, it’s called KYPHOTIC and for some eerie reason it reminds me of the hair in one of the many Dracula films but his is white, and I wish I knew which film, but I’m freaking myself out trying to remember.

The eyes are from Treasured Visions, they are a great blend of grey, and large enough to be entrancing…cutely named PC101:Pet Rock lol. When I went to take the close up pic, I felt like I needed fangs, but I was a bit eh about that, I did tp to get some and once I didn’t see them immediately ; decided that was fate for me to turn back and go another way, that way being the Lip Piercing from Dark Eden.

Now I definitely recommend clicking on the pic and having a look at the original size on flickr, the Dramatic Lashes curly feather lil stars by PanJen are remarkable, and so many times I have gone to wear one of the brilliant dramatic sets but have ended up wearing other things that didn’t work, this does, so YAY. They were really easy to edit to fit, and I just adore how these ones look with this skin and hair.

Insolence “Barbara”/Dutch Touch “Indie” 19th Nov. 2008

This is kind of a test of sorts, as well as a post disguised as a page. There has often been discusions about ‘cuts’ not working for many reasons, one that would be the most important is that children may see something that they shouldn’t.

I don’t show things in my posts, that’s just how I am, but I totally understand why some do when relevant. WP gives us the option to ‘cut’ but it doesn’t follow through when dealing with feeds etc, so I was trying to work out how this could be tricked, nothing was possible that I discovered, except one bit of info stood out. Pages do not show on the front page of your blog except as a tab, and pages it seems are unlimited, just as posts are.

Now there is also the alternative to show only a portion of your post, but it ends up being a muddle of words and no pics. I also know that when i link to my slurls page, that that is a clickable page, one that can be added to. So lets test how it works shall we, as I show some items that I have been negligent in not sharing sooner.

So what I am doing is, writing the full blog post in a ‘page’ and then once done, copy pasting a portion to a regular ‘post’ with the link to the page. It might work and if it does, then I think that many may find this useful. I personally would much prefer to have the beginning ‘teaser’ of my post on feeds rather than the whole thing.

Barbara is the latest lingerie set from Insolence, it’s not new as in hot off the loom, but it is the most recent release. Barbara comes with a few different option, a beautiful lace bra with a halter neck collar, a half cup corset that is somehow innocent looking with its soft and delicate frills and lace detailing, but definitely all sorts of raunchy if you decide to not wear the bra.

You can see more of the set HERE at the Insolence blog, I urge you to go and look, because there is some ‘need to know’ information about the sculpties used in this set, something that I had experience with earlier this week when using a different viewer with some shoes. So it is really important that you all regardless of buying lingerie or not, know whats going on with sculpties and the new viewers.

The Barbara lingerie comes with also panties or high waist panties options, and the frills and bows mentioned with the sculpties are so delicate and delightful, you can of course wear them without the frills, and with the shirt and undershirt and pants and underpants layers included, you can have the set sheer or a bit less sheer, depending on your mood.

A great way to show new lingerie or swimwear is with a new skin, so I took this oppurtunity to show the Indie skin by Dutch Touch, the skin tones are lovely with different shades from a pale to a tan, and all the ones in between, the detailing is beautiful with pretty shading on the back and an adorable bum cleavage.

The make up in this particular range is a soft violet, and I really enjoy the eyeshadow and the lips in this set, it’s definitely a make up that you could wear casually/dressy in the day or vamp up for the night time. I wanted you to see the fingernails too, not really that clear but they are polished to perfection with a french manicure look you wont want to or need to cover up.

Framing the beautiful make up is the NEW hair by TRUTH called Renee, it’s the farrah of the naughties for sure. Large luxurious waves framing the face and moving down to just past the shoulders, this is an all time hair do, and many actually do have those – shocking I know. With the splendid array of creamy rich textures in the TRUTH hair you will really like how the waves catch light- depending on what kind of light you use, of course.

This style can go from corporate to bedroom with the undoing of a blazer button and the lowering of a zip, isn’t it just a fab coincidence you already have on Barbara underneath.

Rock On

I went shopping with Fia for his birthday, and somehow ended up with more stuff for me than him, c’est la vie. I ended up in a store I hadn’t been to before and got some treats, one such item was this Spiderwoman set, it was the pants that drew me in and the top that ended up being much adored.

The double wrap belt look on the pants, matching the fabulous and sexy split openings with straps and buckles down the front and back, give them a rock chick, punk style that I really enjoy.

Fitting well into the New West End boots that are genius in creation, using for the first time – for this designer – the ability to create upper and lower part of the boot as one attachment. There are still two the other being the foot piece underneath to change the shape of the foot so that the precise style isnt compromised.

Like I said I definitely bought the set for the pants, but I really do like the top for its sheer style with cobweb detailing, and just the overall design. I did however wear the French Lace strapless bra underneath as its a bit too sheer for how I show clothing here. The choker and the armbands come with the set as well, but I do prefer the look without.

Wanting a wild skin to wear with this look, I went with the SUZANA-pale 83. The eyemakeup is fantastic and wow on the lips. As usual the stomach in this skin make me love wearing stomach revealing clothing with it.

The Naima hair was an easy decision to team up with this look, Naima being a dreadlock style do with headband that I tinted using edit linked parts and putting on full bright – always makes me chuckle that you have to do that to see most tints.

I remembered on a recent hair shopping expedition seeing the Guitar I am wearing, its the Hotei and was a free item, so off I went to grab it for the shoot, Yay for free and YAY for it being really cool.

More of a taste of the other West End boot textures available, not all but Yum.

Short and Sweet

Ok so first off that title is not the post size, because by now you know me enough to know that’s virtually impossible :P.

So first off before we do into my post, I wanted to share my Genius!, ok usually my Genius is Mel, but today it’s actually my as in me.

So I’m doing that lay in bed trying to sleep, experiencing insane mind overload thing, you know it, I’m sure many of you experience it, so I’m doing the jump from thought to thought thing, you know how at the end you have no idea how you got there and work backwards and go ‘ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so that’s how’.

So I was thinking about work stuff, groups, SoM’s other tools etc, and then somehow my mind got to a discussion I had with Mel a few days ago about inventory. Wait I’m rambling and you want to see the pretties I’m sure, so I will do them first and share my genius at the end.

So lately I have been all over the place in order of appearance,sometimes things are waiting and sometimes new , and they get all squished up together.

Firstly the New would be the Pristine dress, can we all say ‘Ooooooooooh Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ” this dress has purity gone wild written all over it, ok not really written but it is just so the naughty virgin has come out to play. This dress is a delight, the pure white is as the name suggests Pristine, the mini ruffle skirt and off the shoulders coquettish like straps just make you want find all sorts of wiggling animations, ok maybe thats just me.

There is definitely not much in length to this delight, but the panties underneath more than make up for it, that’s if you wear them of course -  the design is created to give both options, don’t you just love versatility – they have beautiful sheer and not sheer features to the knickers style shape, they are adorable, and the little bows that are in keeping with the one featured on the chest of the dress.

Then moving down the legs to the adorable over the knee socks and more bows. This set is just magnificent, I am loving white allot at the moment. I think that comes from the amount of incredible skins and stunning make ups out at the moment, the sharp contrast of make up against white clothing is just fun.

Speaking of incredible skins, I read that there were FREE Natural Prim Lashes and Eyes to be had at La Sylphide, I don’t actually ‘need’ either one, but I couldn’t resist as I love Stephanie’s work. So off I went and it was more a reminder because I was already in a La Sylphide Skin ready to shoot the dress, when I remembered the eyes and lashes, so there I was landing in the store, looked at the lucky chair – can you blame me – and saw it was an F , so Im like darnit wish Fia was on, one minute till change and so I wondered over to the eyes and lashes and was about to leave, when lo and behold it was an S , seriously that chair loves me ♥ and I love it back.

So when I got back home, the Erin Party Girl tan Skin ended up being todays Make Up instead, seriously if you don’t already have Erin at all, this is the perfect way to test it out full time, go to the main store, sort out inventory or chat in IM , whatever you need to do, then win that exclusive to the chair skin and wear it for a day or so, if you don’t get lots of compliments I would be surprised, and its a great way to know completely that you do want a change of skin, make sure you grab all the Demos while you are there too, you can even try those on while you wait.

I’m a dork because after all that you can’t really see the eyes or the natural lashes, but you will be able to when you get them for yourself :P.

When I was scrolling through inventory looking for hair, this one just jumped out at me as very fitting for the look I was going for. It’s called Dirrty Girl and is sexxxxxy for sure. I love this white blonde colour called Cloud , its stunning, and again my love of the white is sated.

What I am really loving in this hair style though is the ends of the hair, they look wet, no really they do. Or at least producted lol, I don’t know what it is really , but I just really like the length and the ends allot.

For some older, and very patient waiting for me to show them items. The Technomancer Neko Collar is definitely some futuristic fun, this collar also comes in a slave version, and it’s equally as cute, I was thinking though instead of a kneeling girl as the symbol, maybe a handbag and some shoes, for those of us that are slaves to shopping :P.

There are 4 colour change settings , that you use in chat channel, such as /4 light1 red and it will change part of the collar. Hard to really show properly in a picture the collars front hanging pendant and the main part of the collar itself all move under the glass covering, creating a very hi tech effect. Also if you can see glow it has a soft glow to it also, its really very well developed and I love the back parts , I am scared of them, because I don’t know what they do 😛 , but I do love them lol.

The boots are the Harajuku Stomp boots, a great array of colours to choose from in these splendidly buckled boots. The very raised platform base is super cute, I can imagine running from cyborg police in these , with toxic rain puddles splashing as I do – ok maybe too far, because now Im worried that those splashes will hurt. All the wonderful straps and buckles though distract my silly, and back to the colours, now that there are so many to chose from, you have your cute adorable punked out options in the pastely light colours, or your dark moody looks in the original and still my favs.

The ring I am wearing, is also scripted for change, the Tahitian Pearl Ring has beautifully placed diamonds on the carved band and a texture change pearl in the centre, this is click on and drop down scripted, so makes it very easy for you – don’t forget though if you are in a no script zone, this might not work so be sure of where you are before you panic.

Ok back to my genius, so I was talking to Mel about inventory , and I realised through experience with customers etc, that many don’t realise that if an item is no transfer in a box/bag, that actually means unlimited unpacks, many of you do know this I understand that, but many also don’t. I have had customers freak out because they ruined something in edit, and I have asked them do they still have the bag/box and explained to just unpack.

So that got me to thinking how in reality, if an item doesn’t need modding, you could in fact keep all boxes/bags and actually unpack fresh each time, then delete when you take off, clearing up some very valuable space in your inventory. This then got on to the impracticality of that , when wanting to wear various pieces from one outfit with another etc, and true enough too, but we all have some sets that we wear as is. So I was thinking ok thats good and bad, and useful maybe for some to consider.

But that was only what got me to this brainwave, and if anyone has ever suggested this in the past I wish I had seen it. Ok so I was thinking about boxes/bags from then , and we just recently re-bagged all of DD, but we don’t allow rezzing – yeah yeah I much prefer customers to not be griefed than to be able to rez, we had days of attacks.

So anyway I was drifting off and I had a thunk, yes one of my thunks that go plunk. I know, and you know that you can unpack old school if its an emergency, you just HAVE to wear the item you just bought, but its boxed/bagged and you cant just wear from the folder, so you do the wear the bag/box and drag from contents to your inventory – remembering of course to make a folder first to drag too.

BUT then you have other issues, in the wearing the box/bag, issue one VANITY, some people do not want to wear a box/bag in public lol, two would be taking off things you have attached to the hand , such as rings, thats not good.

So here is my idea, and I tested it today thanks to the LC win at La Sylphide. Are you ready ?

ATTACH TO HUD ! OMG OMG OMG OMG , if you right click the ba/box and attach to hud centre it clearly shows up, and even better thanks to La Sylphide having a touch to unpack script in hers, all I had to do was clickit and it even made the proper folder, OMG Brilliant right, and then I did it the drag from contents way and that worked too, so now lovely people, you can still unpack a box, no one will be the wiser because they wont see anything , it will all happen on your screen for your eyes onllyyyyyyyyyyy *sings* don’t you just love experiencing how my mind works :P.

Cover me with finery – SLink + Insolence

I think I just aged in that way we dream about, I am a product of the 70’s so women like Lynda Carter and Jacqualine Smith to me were incredibly looking women. Years on they kept their stunning looks, and just got even better looking, there are so many of those women I know, but this new SLink Bijou skin just reminded me of them.

Maybe it was the skin and corset combo, who knows. Siddean Munro has been as I said earlier this week, working very hard on the newness lately, and I just found out today , that she is going to be full time in Phils Place until the end of the year, so that means lots more yummies to be had.

The New Bijou Skins are using the same base as the lovely Isabelle but enhancing it somewhat, for a more mature glamorous look. This skin is worn by women who know, you don’t exactly know what they know, you just know they know it.

The mouth is beautiful, and the cheekbones are enhanced perfectly, not too overdone, even in the runway make up its just right. I adore the beauty mark over the mouth, and the lashes that are part of the make up itself are just superb, I have no prims on in the close ups. The MakeUps are fun and inovative, I am thinking Torley is going to love the second down on the right, as its definitely watermelon like. Exotic is just gorgeous with the bindi work on the actual skin, I can see lots of Zaara fans liking that one.

Always a great way to show off New Skins, is swimwear or Lingerie, in this case Lingerie was the ideal.

Insolence recently released Lily, an incredible Corset set by Camilla Yosuke. So many ways and reasons to love this set. Firstly the divine fabric choice, beautiful lace and silk work in these rich colours. All of the options you get in each set are remarkable too, you have the bra and two different panties options, short corset and long, you also get garters and stockings in a divine sheer seamed effect.

But then its all the options of layers and such that just make it so wonderful. Whether you want to wear stockings and garters under a pair of dress slacks you can , as Camilla has catered to all layers with all options, so garters come on or off all.

I especially love the Lacing work, and not the lace, but the laces, criss crossed back tied off with the beautiful silk ribbon bow. CInched in super tight, the sides of the pieces also lace up and its really superb work. There are also lace prims for the top of the corset or bra and the bottom of corset or the edge of the panties, I think the set is stunning either with or without this option, but the fact that you have it just adds to the charm.

Also wearing the very pretty and also with a bow – that is scripted to colour change with chat- Blair hair from Refuge , I think this style is totally in keeping with the whole look. The shoes from Enkythings are my favourite lingerie slippers the Nana heels.

I would suggest going to Insolence picking up the Beautiful Lily set then visiting SLink and grabbing the Bijou Demos, they come in 5 tones I am showing the Sunkissed, then admiring how you look in both and choosing the right one for you.

Todays Poses are from Long Awkward Pose and are a mix of the Jewelry set and the Red Carpet Diva set, which is Newish and so fab. I am wearing very high and dark brows too , you can alter them with your own shape, I was going with the more dramatic , but you will see when you try on the Demo 🙂
