The June Look Book just launched and you can find some great options for Makeup, Mesh eyes and Nailpolish options, you can see the gallery here, or just grab the HUD directly from Marketplace and shop. I am featuring the Pink Fuel skin for LeLutka and it is something you need to make grabby hands at. It is shown in the ad on Simone, but I decided to give it a whirl on Chloe, Spencer and May. Chloe and Spencer are my usual go-to LeLutka heads, but as I do not wear May enough I decided she deserved a treat and Pink Fuel is always that.

Anja is a delightful face and it comes in two options with two brow styles, so really it is four options. Then included in the hud is the with or without blush brow choices in a huge variety as far as brow colours go, and then you also have a no brow option if you have other preferences. The second tab is the eyeshadows, you have different luxury colours to choose from with the option of a winged liner so that you save layer space, that Mochi is always thinking.

Then the third tab is my bliss, after the skin itself of course, but I am always a big fan of Pink Fuels lipsticks so to have them all here and present and accounted for, and then in the solid, gradient and dolly, I love the dolly, because with the LeLutka head HUD rerouting option you can stack dolly over lipstick as I have said before and get such a neat look.

Having the different heads also gave me a chance to show the different types of skin tones, three of the many available, and then also the body appliers that Pink Fuel does, with the regular, the athletic and the ripped. It also validated my need to have purchased this Bikini in three colours by Mimikri at this round of Uber, not that I ever need that kind of validation, but it is nice to wear them all so close to purchasing.

I took a run at the great Blush event last night also and got these elaborate nails by Pink Lion – all about the pink stores today. They are Bento and I am wearing the Slink version they also include Maitreya. The nail polish has lots of colour variants in the tropical theme, the flowers and leaves are just gorgeous and the rings have on and off options as well as metal choices, so much range and so detailed.

All my hairstyles are by Elikatira, and I tinted the band on the hippie style Juniper hair, so cute, all of them are just lovely styles to wear.

The year was 2006, I was roughly a month old, and I was at Gurl 6 buying my already probably 30th hairstyle…she made it easy, there were so many rooms of hair even then. I was in the process of buying a style when I saw in the ad the pretties black with pink detailing top. I IM’d Six Kennedy –  because I am an Aussie, and I did not know that that was not the normal thing to do – and I asked her where the top was from, she asked me to hold on and then next thing I knew I was sent the top from her inventory – back then more common to have things no copy – and it was called Princess, and was part of a set. I was so shocked that she would give it to me, she explained I was doing her inventory a favour as she never wore the same thing twice in ads – I think all of us wanted to be like Six. I told her that I would like to pay her for it and that I wanted to know where it was from at the least so that I could buy it from the store directly. The store was Pixel Dolls, the build was this very tall old Victorian looking build and you had to camera up and up and up to see everything – a bit like Bare Rose but not.

I was head over heels for this store, not only did a buy another colour of Princess, much love still to Six for the gift, and then went on to buy everything else in sight. The clothing was a mix of high glam, 1920’s flapper a bit of Gatsby before it was even trendy again, some latex and rubbery Aeon Flux kind of looks and just overall beautiful pieces, with velvets and heavy and luxurious fabrics. I wore a long tulle skirt from there often, with various tops and Asian influenced styles. Flexi and Glitch pants, but everything so feminine and beautiful. Then the store grew bigger and bigger, skins were available, she was the Queen of gargantuan SALES often reducing her entire store to 10L per item, we would go nuts. If she had a release it was more of a collection, empire style gowns, steampunk items top to bottom and everything in between. Her stores were majestic and I spent so many hours in them with Whimsy and Mel over the years.

Until today I thought she had left us, she did come and go a few times over the years, but I thought she was gone gone, but I found out today wrapped around some very sad news that she has had a store called The Muses for however long now, and mainly focusing on RP and Fantasy clothing…which as previously described was definitely her penchant. She has suffered a huge loss in her family and I am truly sorry for that, so Voshie Paine did a shout out encouraging people to go shopping and help out with much-needed funds going forward. Now it did not take me more than an inhale of breath to get onto Marketplace and demo the hell out of everything I could. Everything comes in so many body size options, that you should be covered, or in the case of some of the clothing uncovered. I got more than pictured, but I did just love these two pieces that I will end up wearing with other more casual pieces in future, the skirt is fabulous and the top with pants will be my thing.

I was lucky enough to be given early access to Uber a few hours ago, and on landing the inner circle literally floored me. I had to lay down to recover once I saw this boho fish shack collection by DRD. There was me laying the ground, if I had a brown paper bag I would have been breathing into it. If you haven’t realised yet I am water, ocean, fishy obsessed. This, however, does not mean just putting a fish on something, or a dolphin or waves will have me going giddy all the time – most of the time – but not all the time. But something like this set, well damn there is no amount of descriptive words that could truly do it justice. It is a big set, and well worth its price tag, but you can also purchase it in parts if you are on a budget or only feel the need for bits of it – that last part to me means you are crazy but not really judging, just a little judging. While I don’t completely lose myself in the shack set, there are other things there too, and it took a long turn around the place for me to get as much as I could carry.

Word of warning, I have discovered that my usual wear system layers to shop in and then try everything on and leave on the last demo you had on while you continue is not always safe, especially if you do not turn the layers back on. Today I experienced my first ‘TIMER DEMO’ mishap and wasn’t that pleasant! walking around standing in front of a booth and bam NAKED! next to a nice couple. I had actually even purchased the demo item I was wearing, but I had more shopping to do, but ending up naked from a timer demo is not cool, events are huge and they are laggy in some cases, and it is easier to stay in the demo until you change to the next demo. I understand the want to not have people use the demo for pics or whatever the case may be, but I for one would much prefer you attach a prim than have me end up naked in public…lesson learned though to return myself to my layered state before continuing.

Continue I did, picking up this gorgeous bikini by Slink that is a guest of the lovely Baiastice booth this round. The theme of the event is Summer Lovin and I sure had me a blast. This swimsuit is called Athena and with the right lighting has a perfectly shiny and somewhat wet look to it, which just worked perfectly with the droplets effect that comes with my body HUD and then the fantastic wet look hair by Mina that is an interactive style that actually gets wet from SL water. You even get a hairdryer that will blow it dry for you. Mina has actually also updated the hair to include a more versatile hud for picture taking so if not near the water you can still put it into a wet state, and it even has water particles that drip of it, so much fun. It is a system that was created by Salt & Pepper and they did a collaboration together, there is also a dress I picked up at Uber that goes wet also when worn in water.

The shoes I am wearing are by Reign also at Uber and have three options, flat, platform and tiptoe so can be worn with flat and high feet. The straps and soles have texture change options and they are nice rubbery soles so you don’t misstep when wet and walking around uneven surfaces.

Uber is just about to open its doors for another round, and this is the time of the year when each participant gets to invite a Designer friend to join them in their booth. I always like seeing not only who people pair up with, but how their styles merge. I was in the middle of taking pics when I realised that it was that day and funnily enough was already in the throes of using some items from a past Uber event. I remember this because I had a mini-meltdown standing there trying to decide what colour scooter I wanted and that there was no fatpack to just validate my reason behind having them all. How does one know what colour scooter is going to be the scooter at the moment, too much pressure? The helmet option colour I went with was bang on though, so even though I would totally ride an orange scooter wearing all black, I would also wear an array of many colours, the orange was the go to at the time.

I also loved that there was a loaded option, meaning you can get just the scooter and its beauty, or the loaded included with the stickers of locations been etc, and the bag and rug so that you can sleep by the roadside if you get stuck in some lonely highway.

The reason for my wanderlust ways, is this jacket that is at the current round of Shiny Shabby, this jacket is leathery brilliance, not only is it just a great looking mesh jacket with fabulous texture, but look at the detailing of the safety pins on the back, and my new hair by ItGirls with the options to have the hair look as though it has moved for pics like this was just perfect to showcase the back.

While getting the hair I also picked up two skins for LeLutka heads by ItGirls, this one gives me such fuller lips for the Chloe Head it is ravishing. The pants I am wearing with the jacket are by Blueberry, they are not Hourglass sizing though as the pants were out before the hourglass body was released. However because of my shape and the settings on the Slink HUD they work perfectly in XS Standard Sizing for me, so never go without something without trying it on, you may find that whatever sizes are available, it may still fit you depending on style.

I had actually opted for the dark grey in this jacket, because the black was black and the dark grey was more like a worn in black, and this is the kind of jacket you wear forever. The pants also had a dark grey option so perfect matches all around. I put together the scene with some cliffs and some sand I had laying around, some cars from events and it looks like I have found some like-minded travellers to meet up with.

One of the other great reasons to use the Petite Augment by Slink is that it can enable stacking of mesh in standard sizing fits of old, that may have not been possible to wear with your regular breast size and shape. I am wearing the latest Oh Carol bustier from the gorgeous lingerie set by Adam n Eve that is at Vintage Fair currently, with this over the shoulder blazer I have from Emery that is much smoother over the chest and was made in standard sizing.

The Slink Petite Augment fits perfectly underneath as well as the bustier in mesh no clipping and a smoother and more sophisticated look. I have on the wrong kind of cleavage for the petites but I wanted so much to wear the new skin by YS&YS I let it go this time. It is not overly cleavage enhanced though, and I do have my shape settings to around 80 even with the petites on so it is probably an A cup? I can pretend I have those chicken fillet things stuffed in my bustier for a bit of extra lift – you believe me right.

The coat is gorgeous, but as it was made standard sizing and actually I do believe pre-mesh bodies, it pretty much just alphad out the entire arms/hands with wearable alpha, I think the idea was to believe your arms and hands were just underneath, it does not come with any animations to lock them in place so it is definitely more of a prop item than a definite wearable, unless you don’t mind hiding all, and with the new slink body hud options you can in fact just turn off your hands and wrists as well.

The style of coat and the bustier, especially in this colour, worked really well with the style I wanted for the day, the pants are from my recent trip over to Fashionably Dead and for great trousers these are wonderful. The style and colour made it a no-brainer when pairing the lookup with these clog style heels by Utopia.

Hair drawn back from the face or using the new styling features on the Mina hair HUD I could go with looser tendrils framing the face option, but I would leave that for the end of the day, I have to start out a little more put together, first impressions and all that. Love that about the styling huds, do not have to be huge options, just little nuances that can take you from one time of day or set to another.

I may have mentioned in yesterdays post how much I was enjoying my bottom in the Skinnery skin appliers. I had purchased the new Drew skin and when I applied to the body, I was reminded of the nice bum factor of it. We tend to spend a lot of time back there, so it is nice when everything is as pretty as can be.

So when I saw that Cynful had released some new shorter than short shorts, I ran over this evening and picked up the new Baewatch set – you get shorts and a cute half covering tank top – as well as other shorts set called Rain Baby that comes with a hoodie. Lots of options whether single or fatpacking, so check out the HUDs in the demo, as Cynful explains visually as well as text what is included if only opting for the single colour purchase, which is nice and helpful.

I have had these gacha sets rezzed on my platform for ages now, saw them at backdrop city when it first opened and everything we saw that we liked Whimsy and I ran over to their stores and grabbed whatever we could…we like to own things, even if like these they sat around maturing for months. They are very Miami Beach scene looking – to me who has never been and watches way too many movies. If Barbie was going to rent for the summer, this is what it would look like I imagine.

Exile has released this amazing style of hair at Rewind, and it does come with adorable daisy flowers scattered all over it, but I opted for the without option, because I was feeling very sporty and such. The styling HUD included has the full style front option, then side swept left and right options and all with and without the flowers.

I have so many sets of rollerskates now, but I could not resist these by N-Core, they say they are for Slink Physique Original, but as they do not go higher than the knee they fit Hourglass also. The shoes by Rebel Gal are just too much fun with their racey look. You can change so many of the features with the HUD in the fatpack, and they even did some of the work for you by including some combinations already set. Matchy matchy with my shorts set.

Sometimes you just have to make your own weather, and with these pants by Coco I brought the sunshine to my wintery world. It is very cold down under at the moment, and these pants just make me deliriously happy. I have been waiting for wide legged pants like this since Celoe closed their doors, and need more colour options. You can get them at this round of Fameshed and while there is a top that looks great with them there also, Coco just released this great semi tucked shirt that is perfect as a great staple piece for your wardrobe.

Ran around the grid a bit the past few days, went over to the new session of Rewind – Summer of Love event. It looks fantastic, and so well laid out. I love the Coachella/Woodstock look of it all. I got this gorgeous skin for LeLutka by The Skinnery, so loving the face, and my bottom looks sensational. I also picked up this hair by Navy & Copper which had been released at another event but suits the theme, so check before you buy that you haven’t already purchased it before. I especially love the hair wrap as it is textured so well it seems fluffy and soft.

The shoes I am wearing are at Kustom9 and if you get the fatpack you get the option to change all the parts so you can do as I did, and coordinate with your outfit. They are beautiful strappy high heels, with the ruffle look across the foot. The build is also at K9 and is such a great loft style and I could not resist these windows and the radiator making the scene – because even though I have on yellow bright pants, I am still freezing.

Fashionably Dead than Fashionably Late. The other day I was checking on some slurls for my post on Tres Blah and realised that I have not been to Lulu sim in a long time. I wanted to see if they had done any landscaping projects, because Lulu used to be a much visited sim by many for their outdoors. It is still lovely over there but I realised that I could not walk from store to store, as the paths do not lead that way, once you go out and over the bridge you have to go back in from store to store, tricky, but thank goodness for flying.

I flew over to Fashionably Dead and picked up some group gifts, then some jeans, then some, well room to room got my attention, each item complimented other items, and actually fit eachother even if not made for the same time. I am not sure that is definitely the case for everything, but everything I got did so, and I got pretty much something from everywhere.

The boyfriend jeans are perfect for people that are not low slung hip hugging wearers, the boyfriend look is still very cool for just spending the day out and about. The top is so pretty, and because of its satiny goodness, it can be casual dressy or dressy dressy, which is marvelous. For a day out and about and with bared shoulders, I went with this oversized sun hat by Baiastice, that includes a bandana only option, and I am a fan of bandanas as you know.

The casual dressy worked out well with the margot slippers by Slink where you can turn on or off the straps, and also have the deluxe feet option of all heights, so you can be on pointe or kitten, mid, high and flat. I love these as a quick pretty shoe, and kept them throughout the post.

Then moving into these resort pants, I was feeling the blush pink, and the top is a top from a spring shorts set, but as a top is great too. I added the choker part of the one shoulder top by Coco that is at this months Fameshed, I knew I would get great use from the choker aspect of it.

Lastly the top was a gift at FD, and as I mentioned it fit perfectly with the skirt that was actually made to fit over a henley style bodysuit, but I wanted to see what I could do with it even further, so the top, then the addition of some highwasted pants by Muka perfectly fitting underneath. I am using those sleeve add ons by Tee*fy again, I love them, and they come in handy so much to round out and change a look.

The styles of hair are by Exile, and I was feeling their brunette to blonde mixes today, which paired with the Alessa skin by League, just makes me feel all rawr and ready to take on the day/night.

I promised more of these stunning knickers by Adam n Eve featured at this years Vintage Fair that is now open to the public. These are the second option of the Gacha prizes available, the polka dot versions come in ten colours and the rare is all colours.

If you had been anywhere near me last night, you would have blocked your ears to stop them bleeding as the screams of joy from my platform were piercing. Not only do I love the polka dot version of these pants all by themselves, but to find that the Hope Kimono by Tres Blah fit over them as though made for eachother had me incredibly excited. Not a smidge of clipping anywhere, I am even right now as I write this dancing in a stunning build by Bryn Oh which is an instalation of single scene poems she has created, it is raining and I am dancing and I am enjoying it a lot.

So as mentioned yesterday, you can get the floral or the polka dot knickers as a gacha item, and then add the solids by purchasing them with the matching bustiers, or just grab the solids in the colours/fatpack you like. They even come with petites options included.

I love this look, as it is the weekend and the idea of just spending time in the home, enjoying the space, being comfortable and very girly, and it gave me another reason to show off the bedding by Cheeky Pea.

This hair by Exile has the shorter bangs that give a very Betty Page look to the style, and that right there is all the vintage look love. Slipping into some flat mules by G Field with their pretty little bows across the foot, everything is perfect. I hope your day is.

Vintage Fair 2018 by Pale Girl Productions opens today at NOON SLT. That gives you enough time to peruse all the available options you have to see in advance the amazing creations this two simmed event has for you to delight in. All items are themed pre 1980’s so for all you vintage fans, this is your event.

Culprit has done a lovely job on the builds and everything available is of fantastic quality and so many different types of stores that you will need to visit a few times over the coming weeks.

Adam n Eve has released their first mesh items for this event, with two dresses and the amazing French Knickers shown. However the Flower version is a Gacha item, as well as a gorgeous Polka Dot pair, both come in 10 colours and if you win the rare you get the fatpack of all.  The even better news is that there is also a solid set, with a matching bustier that you can purchase, so you can either just go for the top and bottom set in solids, or combine gacha knickers with solids and so on, this way getting a lot more variation.

For this first picture – and I do plan to do more, maybe even in this post, because I am just typing at the moment so anything could happen – I am wearing the floral knickers in pink,  but opted to wear them with this furry boa by Kaithleens that was from an event last year. These thigh high stockings by Luxuria are lovely, and with the perfect vintage seams. I did tint them slightly from the Slink Body Utilities HUD so that they came in closer to the pink in the knickers.

To show such great lingerie looks, a bed is often the definite go to, but this bed is above and beyond, not only is it so pretty, but with the flower detailing it was a match made in my bedroom. The bed actually comes in PG or Adult options, and when you sit on it the covers are removed so you are left with the sheets, but as I wanted you to see how beautiful the bedding was, I used my VR Studio pose stand to pose on top.

Laying down is often difficult with different pieces and items not exactly laying flat, but this hair by Exile just pulled everything together beautifully in that regard, it is the perfect style for action looking pics, turbulent weather and all that, or some dancing etc, but for laying down and the lovely waves it suited what I wanted to a tee. Bringing all the pinks together, I opted for some of the makeup from the recent launch of the LookBook HUD that I posted a week ago. This set is by Alaska Metropolitan and her make up is always so luxurious.
