Frosting on the Cake – Cupcakes, DeLa, Zaara, Maitreya
Cupcakes has been the fabulous merging of two wonderful designers. Mimi Coral and Rosemary Galbraith have been designing seperately for a long time, and last year decided to merge the two labels and make one brand. Both ladies bring some lovely cards to the table in the way that they design and execute lovely clothing and skins.
The first dress is Clara in Gold, it’s a beautiful Medieval Gown that is just stunning. The fabric is such a rich gold, with a lovely trim in gold and green. I am wearing the Beautiful Aisha hair from Maitreya that was made for the stunning Nizam Jewelry from Zaara’s , even though the Jewelry and Headpieces were made as traditional pieces from India, it looks so beautiful with a Medieval flare.The Nizam pieces are available separately or as a set, and they are just so delicate and stunning.
The bratop formal comes in various prints at the top, with a full gown skirt that is really pretty, this style is more for the conservative formal events rather than your high glamour, which makes it a very sweet look. I think that the top of this dress would look stunning with dress pants also as the bodice is a very attractive style. With this look I went with the Sophie hair from Maitreya and the Nana heels from Enkythings for a demure slipper look.The Button Dress is a great Must Have, there are many colours in this style that you would definitely find one or more to your liking, but not only do you get this fab frock , but you also get this incredible supersized sunhat. Great for sunday brunch, or those day events that are set outdoors.
Wearing the DeLa RG1 sunglasses, that not only have the different tint lens options, but also worn on top of head option which is great. The Samara Shoes by Adam n Eve are a sexy conservative, with such an incredible high shine in the leather, with a semi built up front and an incredible high heel, these shoes are sleek and sexy in a sophisticated way. The hair I am wearing is Nahla also by Maitreya as are the following two Amber and Piper.
I am in all the pictures wearing Seduction skins by Cupcakes, these are very trim and tight bodied skins, the make ups are plentiful and cover such a huge range of needs, there are separate sets so that you can get the benefit of saving in packs.
I am wearing the Seduction Wheat Skins in the number 2 pack and there are newer make ups to check out also, so many beautiful make ups in these and the other skin lines in the Cupcake range.
Wearing the Fringed Lingerie set which is so pretty in the silvery white, Cupcakes also has a lovely range of lingerie pieces, you really also need to check out the clearance wall at the back of the store were items range around the 25L range.

When you have such a curvacious looking skin, it is your duty to wear as little as possible, and if you can’t wear too little then definitely make sure what you wear shows off as much as possible. Not too hard to do if you shop at Luck Inc and Cynful, which share a sim and a definite passion for the naughty.
The Snake Pants from Cynful are as low as I have ever seen pants go, and not just the front but the back, and what better way to celebrate the fact that the NEW Star Skins by Dutch Touch come with a shaved version, than to wear these pants.
Cynful is the kind of store, that you thank goodness has only so far got a smallish range of clothing, because within moments you have pretty much bought the entire store and can’t wait for more. The Snake pants come in a few different colours, and the grey are the ones I am wearing, I thought being the grey they were a nice in between of black and light grey. Be aware though that they are very bum baring, pretty much mid way down the cheeks, so definitely not for the modest.
The Bowtiful tops by Cynful come in both sheer or solid, I bought both, these are the sheer though and done so beautifully with a bazillion options. They have the option of straps or no straps, lace or no lace and on all layers, and they are just beautiful to wear with all sorts of looks.
Another top that actually lead me over to Cynful that day, is the Crop Shop not sheer top, this top has also different versions, one being the optional top that has been created using a texture that implies shadows from the fabric being stretched across the breasts, that is then finished off with a prim. These tops are available in many colours as well as a camo print.
The other day Newdoll, Ashia and I were at a store and saw a girl wearing these Button shorts, working out they were from Luck Inc off we went. They do have a closed front version as well and come on all layers, but the open front ones are too yummy. The Suspenders are sold separately, and come in the same colours as the shorts, I highly recommend trying the suspenders as I know they are called out for often and these are great, especially in the colours they are available in , as well as on all layers.
The boots I am wearing are a MUST HAVE , they are at least 50inches high lol and are Pure Black Opaques from Utopia, I am so excited that Utopia finally has a store, I found them on Xstreet a few months ago , and have been waiting ever since for newness, and these boots are it.
Other Newness is in the Uzuri Stores Jewelry range, one so new it was only cast in the last few hours. The Anganasa Necklace is just lovely , beads of both gold and silver crafted into an elegant necklace, the Zamani Bangle in silver is a stunning piece of work, the texture of the unpolished silver is just lovely.
You may have noticed I have a thing for socks and leggings, well when I saw the Kookie Hole Leggings it was love, they come in a pack with all layers and a nice range of colours, I would love to see more of these produced soon.
The hair I am wearing in the top picute is Winter by Kyoot, an older style but one that I had been meaning to grab for so long and finally did recently, Winter is so girly; I much prefer it to summer, and have already been discussing that I will need to do some wintery posts during your summer or I will be too cranky lol.
The second style is by Red Queen and is Threats, a shorter style than normal for Red Queen hair, but just as fabulous as all if not more so, as it seems to be a little tamer. The other style I am wearing is Easy by Red Queen which I have worn in the past and brings the hair back from the face making it easier to see the stunning make ups on this New Star skin by Dutch Touch.
I am wearing the Walnut tone, which is darker than I usually wear, but oh so beautiful. Not only are there 15 stunning make ups, only 8 shown, but you also have freckles which are a smattering across the nose and cheeks, with brow options and SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVED.
I know I know, I get excited over such nonsense, but when I was discussing this need with Iki the other week and shortly after went and bought the Snake Pants, I was unable to wear them with many of my skins, I am pretty sure the shorts would probably be the same.
These skins though are just so spot on everywhere, they are incredible naked, totally made for becoming a nudist. I am really in awe of the stomach though, something about how its shaded with the belly button, pelvic bone and hips, it all has a really beautiful curvy look that is all woman.
Check out the Demos of all the Dutch Touch skins as soon as you can, the range is delightful.
The Green Mist eyes I am wearing are by Silhouette by Carissa Crimson, I don’t believe they are released as of yet, but keep your eyes open for those (pun pun punnnn) they are really beautiful and have such lovely reflections built in.

The notice came down that Luck Inc had a new release, I was up to my nose with work things, so I had to keep the notecard open at the bottom of my screen so I wouldn’t forget. The Sinken Dress is sex on a stick, it comes in a lovely pallette of desirable colours, so much so I had to get them all. Definately not a dress for the faint of heart this dress was designed to tease and titilate.
I of course am wearing it as modestly but still naughty as I can, the dress comes with so many wonderful layer options, with pasties as an option for the more revealing of looks, but then again the no pasties option would be more so ;)…. also with garter straps that are heavenly and joy of joys go down to meet the LO socks from Miel so well.
I am wearing the beautiful Green Bra from the bra pack at Dutch Touch, so many lovely colours in the packs of solids and prints, these bras come in so hand for shirts and dresses like this.
When I saw the Hush Hair from Red Queen it was instant love, which then intensified with the addition of the Hair Accent Jewelry. The chain and crosses intertwined throughout the hair is just great, the accent comes as a seperate nose attachment, and also has a resizer version for easy fitting.
Having the Hush hair already it was a double bonus to come across P/a a store that to my knowledge is either an offshoot or a rebranding of the old Kiki’s Closet, I was happy to find it either way. The Jewelry and accessories in this store are fantastic, and some older pieces still look as fab now as they did when first released.
This Suggestive Bracelet and Necklace is just gorgeous, they come seperately but you get two of each. I am wearing the midnight versions in the pics and who could ask for a better accompaniment to the hair accessory than these.
The shoes I am wearing are the Diva heels from Tesla, I wear these often and I just can’t get past how sensible they are but in that naughty librarian way, that is just too much fun to be naughty with.
The skins I am wearing are the NEW Sun skins by Dutch Touch, YAY for Iki being back and doing her thing, these skins come in a lovely range of make ups, I am only showing a few of the range as I ran out of time. The mouth is divine and the eye make up is sensual and seductive, without being too over the top allowing for day to night transitions, and back again because aren’t we lucky there is no panda eyes if you stay awake in Second Life.
Make sure you try on the Sun demos as well as Moon and Onyx, they are all such beautiful skin ranges, you will definitely find something to your liking.
The hair I am wearing with the skin pics is Fuzzy by Red Queen in the streaked version, so much fun having coloured strands throughout your hair, especially when its such lively hair like this.

Putting on the Crackers – Rebel Hope, Red Queen, Bebae
So, in my experience in Second Life, with work and play, one thing has always been a repeat request.
‘Does anyone know where I can get a female tuxedo?”.
Many of us have always opted for mens formal/business wear when coming across this need, and many actually are shocked to find out how hot we can look in mens fashion, but Rebel Hope has decided to go that extra mile.
The Signature Ladies Mini Tuxedo is a micro mini skirt, with crisp white shirt, satin vest in a beautiful soft pink finishing it off with a tails tux coat. There is black, white and grey as available colours. Each tuxedo comes with a pocket watch, pocket and handkerchief and a cute sculpted bow tie in the same pink.
I loved creating an edgier look with the straps from the Dark Eden Lilith set to my legs in the first pic, and garters and stockings from Popfuzz in the second.
This set is done on many different layers so the ability to wear it different ways is definitely a feature. Last week I went on a poses shopping overload, and got some great poses from “V” by Toko Voom, the poses are fantastic, going from artistic to useful with ease, I think I bought the whole store and I have used my favs in this and the next post, my favourites have to be the Glue poses which you will see in my next post. Right near them was also the Golden Delish store, another poses store I went to town on , and have had a ball with the great new additions to my VR Foundry Professional Posestand.
The hair I am wearing is Easy by Red Queen [ rQ] , Easy has a lovely pinned back and innocent look, amongst all these large dread style locks, pulled back with a thick band and let to fall loose, great hair for the heavy hair fans.
Recently Bebae released Delilah, a new skin range in a beautiful face and body. The make ups are ranging from heavy night looks to light days, with some fantasy thrown in for good measure. The body of this skin in usual Bebae fashion is beautiful worked, with bare down there – is going to hum playschools theme all day now – DEMO DEMO DEMO and see how Delilah looks on you.
The full bottom lip, and the detailed eyes make it a definite all rounder in the skins field. I have been showing skins faces without lashes lately so you can see the extra lengths our talented skinners go to; to make sure you have the loveliest of faces.
My partner Mel and I had a talk about a Permanent item that was for me to always think of him, which i do anyway :P. But with all the changing I do it is often hard as many know to keep valuable and sentimental items on, I looked at all the attachment options, and for me it ended up being my mouth – funny how it doesn’t stop moving RL but in SL it can be a steady fixture lol.
When he asked if we had been to Deviant Kitties yet as he was searching piercings , I said no with excitement and told him that having run into Helyanwe Vindaloo about 5 times in the last few weeks under bad circumstancesthat I wanted to spend money at her store definately so off we went, so thank you Helyanwe for my transition Permanent piercings ♥.
I had in the past made my nose chain, but that cuts across the face too much and can be a nuisance after a while, so after him tping me Deviant Kitties and him choosing a piece he really liked, then modding it to me saying no higher, lower, left no up a bit, then the next day completely changing it again…eventually Mel will make me one, he didn’t want to yet as I would probably not last it out, lol we shall see :P.

Sock it to me – Miel, Gala, TRUTH, DarkMouse, Bliensent + Maitai
It started with a glimpse at Cajsa’s blog post at It’s Only Fashion, that then ended up me unable to get over to the store. Then on the weekend Arabella came to visit us at The Deck and she was wearing a delightful dress/pants combo that was just too pretty to ignore.
On tping I was to find that it was the same store I had been meaning to visit, and Newdoll and I bought up most of the store. Since then Miel has joined us at The Deck for a spell, and now everyone is hooked. So much to our delight tonight they released their New Sock Factory items which allowed me to quickly add new pics to the already planned post, and tada this is what you get.
The Miel items are the perfect combination of staples,whether you opt for wearing the items as compiled on the vendor boards, or change it up a bit with other pieces, you will have way too much fun with the pieces.
The first pic I am wearing the Bo Lace top, this top actually has a lace collar, but I went without because I just love the wavey finish at the top hidden underneath. The tank style top comes at the moment in black and brown, and the back is incredibly detailed. Wearing some shorts from Twosome that I have had for ages and not yet shown, they are the Autumn shorts in grey and very cute.
Needing a little something around the hips, I went with the Efemera belt – wishes she would come back – by Storin, a lovely sculpted belt with a great buckle. The socks, oh the socks… I have decided I am going to rename this kind of sock to a Socking, it is too thick to be a this day and age stocking , but too high to be a sock. These definitely remind me of partially rolled down woolen stockings of the start of last century, and earlier lol.
The Lo Socks are to die for, and they did at the time only come in the black and the brown, and then later that night Miel gifted to myself, Newdoll and Ashia the New Plaid in black, oooooo we were an excited bunch, so much so we struck a pose in our newness and Newdoll took a pic and put it here.
Anywho, the socks are lovingly slipped into the 3 way Engineer boots by J’s these come with scripted options of up down, and different colours to choose from, its like a fat pack in one. Wanting to add a little more girly girl to the look, I couldn’t go past the beautiful and delicate Burst of Colour Necklace in Copper from DarkMouse, the jewelry and now hair from this store has just blown me away with each new release.
The Red Queen/rQ Crush hair is a semi latest release in the wonderful New build, the detailing amongst the twisted locks of this style is fabulous, make sure you try on all the demos, they are so much fun.
The next pic is the dress/pants combo that drew us in. The SF outfit by Miel is so adorable, with the softest looking fabric tightly stretched across the bodice of the dress, you could be in for some trouble if one of those straps tore. The tunic is just lovely and what better addition to the mix than a pocket with flowers, and I don’t mean embroidered or printed on the fabric, but actual flowers inside of it, it is so dreamy a look, but you do have the option without.
The drawstring leggings come with and the whole combo is perfect for a spring stroll in the sun. More beauties from Dark Mouse in the form of the Flowers are Blooming Necklace and Earrings, so delicate and beautifully crafted. Aradia is a hairstyle by TRUTH , a lovely loose pony tail that actually features a flower, that you can make invisible or colour change, I am wearing the Plum Hair Rose by Essentia. Sorry to say I couldn’t find any info on the bag other than Kotoricco Basket , and it was a gift, but you can see that any basket or bag would look fun with this outfit.
Speaking of bags, I got overly excited to find that June had made new Bellissima bags for BareRose, only reason I saw them was she set them out at The Deck, otherwise I would have missed the release somehow. These are fabulous, they come in a range of colours and you actually get 4 different ones in the pack, different places to hold them from as well as a bonus clutch purse, all for less than 200L.
The top is again the Bo Lace Top from Miel, this time with the CH Silver shorts, I coudln’t resist these at Miel as they are of course Grey and well just yummy. Adding to the mix the New MI Knee High Socks , these are so cute, prim topped kneehighs that have buttons to fasten to, they come in solid or plaid as do the NEW LO socks in more colours, I mean this is just a SOCK explosion, that you will not want to miss out on.
I love the plaid versions in both styles bunches, but seriously that ribbed waffle effect that the solids have as well, IT IS TOO HARD to not be able to wear both at once lol. I cannot wait to see more incredible designs from Miel.
So much stunning jewelry today, the Art Deco Onyx Necklace, Belt and Earrings are from Bliensen + MaiTai, they come with some great options, not just resizing, but also gem and metal change, and not just one gem but you get to change two different sections, so you can go all one like I did, or have a mix for more playful colour combos.
The flats are the Mina flats from TRUTH as is the Hallie hair, a ncie sideswept pony, that has a loose fit look to it also, he does that well with styles recently, that not too tight casual but classy look.
Recently Gala Phoenix of Gala @ Curio released the April skins, a skin that was all youth and innocence, but with a slightly fanciful make up line. Blending her usual two different tones and freckles options, with two varieties of each make up, the Gala skins have fast become a must have for lots of people and rightly so.
The full lips slightly pouted, and the button nose definitely gave a purity to the face. The make ups come with two variations of the same idea and the April Skins that were first released were a big win, especially the pure 1 and 2, as they were the two that were the most every day all wearable. But I think something happened, because April 2 came about, I suspect a much requested further line of make ups was called for, something that people had more choice in than the fantasy blends.
Seriously though I think more than just make ups happened, because DAD’s LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS, April 2 could get you and yours arrested. DAYUM this skin is way sexy and wayyyy too pure at the same time.
The bodies on the April skins are the same as the last few releases, incredibly detailed – and I do mean incredibly – with such a divine cleavage for those of us that don’t like to look too lifted when it’s obvious we aren’t, that is one of my favourite parts of the Gala @ Curio skins, the fact that if you are wearing a shirt or top and obviously no bra, your shading and detailing between the breasts shows that, it is wonderful.
The make ups are wonderful as I said, and they do have such a freshness to them, so try on the whole store and find your favourites, and make sure you are wearing a low cut blouse or shirt, naked will not give you the same effect neither will a bikini, you really have to see what I am talking about clothed the right way.
The hair I am wearing in most of the skin shots is the Angelina hair by TRUTH , this is a must have, I am so in love with how it frames the face. THe Bikini is the LeeLee bikini from Artilleri, the follow up to my all time favourite Leo Bikini, with super cute ties on the side and in more animal prints.
Due to time I didn’t get in the second make up options in the Gala @ Curio April 2 line, so make sure you try them all on, and also really understand that the dark and light in the packs are actually a variation in skin tone, this is so that if you are feeling a bit in need of a tan you can go darker , and if you are feeling a bit chilly and want to snuggle up you can go light, this is a dreamy skin option, as many of you I am sure have actually gone out in a fit of omg Im too pale, or too tanned breakdowns and bought a whole new skin – not that thats a bad thing :P.

Faith – Tuli, TRUTH, Dernier Cri, Studio Sidhe, Kitties Lair
Through the whole time I was taking these pics, of course all I could hear inside of my head was George Michael strumming a guitar.
Those of you that are part of the Tuli group, know that recently Tuli suffered a loss in her family, during this time Tuli named the skin she was working on Faith, in honor of her Aunt that she loved dearly. A few weeks ago she shared a sneak peak of Faith with her group, and they adored it, and I am very glad also sent her the warmest of wishes in that time.
Then Tuli came to The Deck , and before her main release of the Faith skin she created an Exclusive Faith make up that is only available at the Tuli @ The Deck location, and again her group and loyal skin wearing fans came in droves. Then yesterday she surprised everyone yet again with a fantastic Gift Exclusive. The giving nature of Tuli is known by all of her group, and those fortunate to know her ♥, we are blessed.
The release was going to be Sunday, but so excited was she, that she couldn’t resist releasing earlier than planned and again her Group of admiring fans and friends went wild, so today you too can join in and find the Faith love.
Wanting to show the skin in as much of its glory as I dare, I went in search of some Tuli smalls, there are in fact none to be found, but I heard a rumor that that may just change shortly :P. So wracking my brain I suddenly had a burst of evil genius and love all rolled into one.
You see the day that Tuli came to The Deck I was running around in some cut offs, and Kit, Camilla and Tuli were teasing me, saying such things like they couldn’t concentrate with my bottom hanging out, well I showed them
.The shorts I am wearing are from Kitties Lair and the best way to show as much as I dare , or in this case deriare , was to wear the Santa Monica Torn Hotpants, these actually come in five options this of course being the most baring :P, Tuli loves these shorts, so I had to combine lol.
As you can see the body work on the Faith skins is just superb, the smooth and silky complexion runs from head to toe. I am a bit in lust with the backs of the legs, which as we all spend so much time looking at our backs is an important area, to me the back of a skin needs to be as visually stimulating as the front, and this one is that and more.
You can rest assured though that as much as you will enjoy the back, others will admire your front. The body is fit and fabulous without being overly toned. Then we move up to the face, that is just glorious. The Faith make ups range from the natural and classics, to the daring and captivating. Some of the make up definitely has an 80’s retro kind of feel without being too blue eyeshadowy…more of a coloured liner look which I love.
So many beautiful choices that you must DEMO DEMO DEMO. TRUTH recently as I have mentioned made some new hair, as he has been doing this every week lately my to blog folder is a mix of the last few releases, this being the Angelina that I find just lovely as an all day into the night style. As usual the style fits to perfection for me, and the colours are so rich with this latest texture release that you end up wanting to try different ones each time depending on style, or maybe thats just me.
The bikini top I am wearing is from Dernier Cri, the Shiny Silver Bikini has been a favourite since the store first came to the grid. A few finishing touches, one being the Essentia Burgundy Hair Rose, the other being the beautiful Elven Anklet by Studio Sidhe.
This anklet was created to be worn with prim feet, but I chucked a big tanty and proved that it could be worn and would be worn with or without, always a fan of anklets RL and always really surprised that there aren’t more of them in Second Life, these make me happy .
While I was at Tuli grabbing bits and pieces that I didn’t get time to show, I couldn’t resist her pose stands, so the poses used in todays post are also from Tuli.

Pony Play – Sanu, Gala, TRUTH, House of Munster, Essentia, Aitui
A few weeks back when we were in the process of building, Ashia Tomsen of freestyle and Inventory Episode came a calling. We were talking about fun and fanciful items, and she got all excited to show me the then soon to be released Dark Stripes Unicorn set from Sanu.
As soon as I saw her putting on the pieces I squeeled PONNNNNNNNNYYYYYY. No not pony, Unicorn, but it can be a Pony :P. We declared there and then that we would do a post on this set together, and today is the day. The items that we have on, are a compilation of the Dark Stripes Unicorn set, and the Dark Stripes Unicorn Silks. You can buy these items seperately, so if you aren’t into prancing as such, then you have a wonderful prim silks set to lounge in.Now I need to warn you, this set comes with no texture layers at all, so you will either wear the prim modesty layers for down below, or be a kinky prude, and wear panties. Becuase Kink is the New Chic don’t ya know, all the cool kids are doing it,, snortles.
The silks set is so lovely, and all sorts of options to make prim wear easier, Sanu has layed out the top in a variety of sizes pre done for you, as well as having them all fitted with resizer scripts, as all the pieces come that way, it is a case of click and + or – YAY. There are also different length skirts, and they are just so pretty to wear, again as I said you could so totally do the silks set solo, whether it’s your regular form of wear, or you just want to feel all prettyful. Isn’t Ashia prettyful ♥.
The Unicorn pieces, and yes there is a horn there – but we were playing so hard at being Pony’s I think we both forgot we were supposed to be Unicorns lol – as well as a variety of different tails, and the adorable hoofs, that come either cloven, and or bow legged. All these considerations in this set show me that real consideration for those that live this lifestyle was taken into consideration, as well as the fun in which creating such a fun pack would be.
Many other colours can be found in this set, the fat pack is HUGE, and again all the pieces can be used at different times, for different looks. The Dark Stripes Unicorn set by Sanu also has a collar, with a built in Pony Ao, that puts your hands in the correct position and allows you to prance, it is so much fun, and usually you have to buy those seperate, so thats a big bonus.
The lovely Ashia Tomsen and I are both wearing the beautiful Gala April 2 Skins, her in the Petal tone and myself in the Sundust – more of those to come from me later today. The lovely hair that Ashia is wearing is from House of Munster, and is called Wicked, This is a great sharp concave cut with tips, House of Munster hair is so much fun, you will need to keep visiting her store for more beauties like this one.
The hair I have on is Caitlin by TRUTH, which were some of my favourite teen series books as a girl, and she had a Pony too, with Hair Rose by Essentia to finish off the prettyful. The ink adorning the arms of Ashia are from Aitui, and she wears these and others full time, so make sure you check out the tattoo line over there, they are really good work, and only get better with time as his store just grows and grows – MORE HAIR PLEASE.

Fashionable Relay Challenge 34 – Rocker – Canimal, Lala Foofoo, Free Speerit, TRUTH, Essentia, Sanu, DeLa, Enkythings
I am not sure what happened somewhere to make it my go again in the Fashionable Relay Challenge, but YAY because I never got to follow anyone. The lovely Kira Paderborn of Shapes by Kira.
So running around with Kira as my absent guide, I ended up at Sanu. The Scribble Monocle set comes with 5 different monocles, they have different colour beads and the funnest names, this one is Smurfy – as if you could resist. The other week I went to Canimal shopping with Whimsy and Meko, and had a squeeling moment when I layed eyes on the new to me Rocker Jacket.
This Rocker Jacket is so cool, it is of course the Union Jack in leather in an open zippered style. The jacket is a semi cropped length with zippers featured on the arms and the back, I love this jacket and I remember when Canimal came back from the UK all inspired but somehow I missed this gem.
I am wearing it over one of my favourite Gauze Tanks by LaLa FooFoo, this is the white, and even though it doesnt have a jacket layer it comes with a tucked in underpants layer, that really works for this look. The navy blue Leather Pants I have on are from DeLa and these pants are such a rich colour, they shine in all the right places without looking too overdone, so you can wear them with all sorts of looks, the dark blue definitely pulls up the depth of blue in the jacket, which I really like in the darker toned flags.
Having way too much fun now with my red, white and blue look, I added the red Nana heels by Enkythings – have I mentioned that I love these shoes yet ?, the style and the colour are perfect for the combination and to really work with the cuffs to these pants.
Needing more white, I chose the Puschel Pez tail from Fifferling, a fun playful cat tail, adorned with pez dispensers and other various candy fun. The Kitti ears are from The Sweetest Sin, but you can of course get ears at Fifferling also, and vice versa if you aren’t in the mood for a candy tail.
A splash of luxurious red in the form of my hair, the style is called Willow 2 and is the latest release from TRUTH, itwas not just the perfect choice for it’s colour , but the swept and pinned back look gave it a fabulous charm but also the ability to see the monocle bangs free. Another splash of red, is in the form of the Tiffany ring by Flirt, it is diamond encrusted, with platinum detailing…it is also scripted to chage size which is fabulous as I had to increase it a smidge to fit perfectly.
Byzantine Choker by Essentia, which is my favourite silver choker. The detailed link work on this necklace is divine, true Byzantine detailing that you have to see RL to believe, there is a demo in the Essentia Main Store. The Skin that I am wearing is the lovely Kimberly skin from Free Speerit, the body detailing, and the lovely make ups are just fabulous. Make sure you try on the demos and check out all the other items at Free Speerit, as not only skins, but hair, clothes and poses.
Now about the poses, Marleen Vaughan of Marlys, put out a challenge to pose makers. This challenge was inspired and creative, it was for posemakers to create poses based on the Robert Longo artworks in RL. His work has people in such intense poses that for a posemaker this was certainly a challenge. So many jumped at the oppurtunity, and did such a wonderful job. Chance Greatrex from DARE sent me his pose set from this challenge and it was instant love and admiration for this set, and the pictures that can and will be taken with them.
Be daring and try them for yourself, they are so lovely, and from different angles and with some imagination, they can do so much.
Passing the baton to Shelly Toonie over at Moonshine, it was a blast being able to jump in and get another chance to partake in this challenge.

Bella – League, Pulse, Gritty Kitty, Essentia
Today after work I tpd over to The Deck – yes, I opened a New Sim on the weekend – thanks to the lovely yellow dots that LL gave us for our mini maps, we are able to see friends when they are on the same sim YAY. So I tp’d over to find Whimsy all ready for some League lovin.
Totally the perfect time for another combined post, I donned my Bella Desastre outfit from League and we were off and sailing. Whimsy is wearing a fabulous outfit also from League but for all her info you will need to go to Virtually Dressed.
The Bella Desastre series has not only the full outfit in dress look, but also an Arm Set which consists of three different Glove styles and attachments, as well as the Bella Desastre Tops that are seperate and allow for different variations with the outfit skirts.The different skirt variations are also a lot of fun, from tattered to clean, and with the gathered bustle intended look, with a short skirt that is just adorable. You will need to be a bit less modesty conscious, and make sure that if your skin is leaning towards the larger nipples that you take that into account, but the Pulse Rebirth skin I am wearing kept my virtue intact lol.
This outfit in usual League style comes in the brown and the black, and the brown is just so lovely. The Asuka boots also by League are the perfect match for all of her looks of this nature, with their gold button down sides, they have such a realistic look to them for this genre.
I cannot wait to see the growth that is emerging from League as a store to be reckoned with, it has changed and woven its course from the start, and it is only getting better along the way.
The hat/hair I tend to wear often with this look is the Thursday style from Gritty Kitty, definitely my go to hat/hair for Steampunk, I did however hand tint the hat this time as their brown wasn’t this brown, but there are all sorts of menu options that are fab.
The skin as I mentioned is Rebirth by Pulse, all the skins in the Pulse range are just fabulous, and there are some new ones you will have to get demos of to see to believe, one is actually more mature by about twenty years or so.
So whether you are looking at a bit more of a revealing Steampunk, or a Wenchy Pirate lass as seen on Whimsy League is the go, remember to go visit Virtually Dressed to see her post.

Let them eat Cake featuring Violet Voltaire, Pink Fuel, Magika, Lamb, Tesla
So a few days ago, or maybe a week? a conference call was placed stating that Violet Voltaire was closing up shop. This made me nostalgic, because I remember way way back in the day when Violet used to blog on Closet Crisis. You see Hethr was the pink girl, and Violet of course was the purple girl…well that’s how I used to think of them both :).
When stores close in Second Life, for me I worry, I worry about many things…but mainly I stress about our history. So even though I was unable to rush right over, it has been sitting at the back of my mind ever since.
This morning I decided that I would be very upset if I missed out on scooping up some Violet history, so off I went to the Muse location. Now Violets items have never been pricey, but the prices at the moment are a steal.
Now apparently though since this news of her closing up shop, some of her friends have rallied around and insisted she keep some locations active, so you will not exactly miss out, but I still wanted to know that I have my little pieces of History all gathered at the time it is changing.
As much as you may think you don’t “need” a mini crown, or some cake jewelry, you will be surprised how often you do lol, so get on over to Violet Voltaire and snap up everything, the most expensive item I purchased was 50L the majority were 5L , so don’t miss out. The two items I am wearing are the Hethr Necklace – as it seemed appropriate :), and Their Cell Crown which is just fabulous.
Devilish Cupcake didn’t warn us, no Abby the brat just left for a bit, but she is back and guns are blazing- ok maybe not guns, but her PS has been kicking some bottom. The outfit I am wearing is called Story’s Street Trash, the set comes with different coloured shirts , I chose purple in honor of Violet, and the cute as punk tartan skirt with over the knee torn stockings. Very rebel schoolgirl for sure.
The hair I bought when out shopping with Whimsy Winx of Virtually Dressed, it was the day that ETD released their new hair, and I let Whimsy wear that as long as I could wear Bang Bang by Lamb. but then the sneaky one bought it too and tried to wear it LOL seriously it was a riot. This style comes with swept bangs and straight across, I am so in love with their black pack also as it has an incredible white blonde in it instead of white white, so I get more BangBang for my buck :P.
On another shopping trip with Whimsy I came across Pink Fuel’s location at Canimal, I love Pink Fuel items but in the past hadn’t seen the Lacey Black Heart eyepatch, this thing is so cute it has texture change, and I already had it set to be the crown, so it linked in perfectly with todays look.
Magika has recently released beautiful new Skins, this is the Night – Midnight, and the lips on this skin are just divine. The palish without being too pale tone is just perfect for the kind of looks you would want to create with Magika creations, so make sure you grab all the lush demos, the red in these lips are a MUST MUST MUST HAVE.
Wrapping up this look with the New Harvey Boots from Tesla , these are fantastic biker style boots, with the right amount of roughed up leather. They are definitely boys boots turned into girls, which I am always all for, it is fun to wear something that is usually worn with pants, with a mini skirt like this one, I have a love for clompy boots of this style, so these are a win.
