Skin Fair is in full bloom, and I have been back and forth a few times. I am wearing Chelsea, a fantastic new skin from Adam n Eve. Not only is the skin divine, but she has been creating make ups such as these luscious lipsticks, with spec maps so that they actually look almost wet and moist to the touch, it also gives the appearance of each little ridge in the natural shape of the lips, very sexy especially in this amazing red colour. So the Skin appliers are separate and Chelsea is just lovely as a skin, then on top I have the separate lipsticks for the Visage heads by Slink, so top to toes I am all mesh as usual lately.

Then adding a little more with these new make up options the Elymode eyeshadow from her Cosmic release that is already on marketplace, so grab those and all the ones at Skin Fair too.

We went over to Kustom9 the other night, Justice, Ashia and me, and I picked up this great skirt and top from Le Primitif. Now generally as a rule I do not usually mix and match within the same release, then I feel as though someone else dressed me, but this time I made an exception, because they really do compliment eachother. The simplicity of the v neck cropped shirt, with the wrap style of this stunner of a skirt.

It really is the shoes that pull the whole look together though, they are drop dead gorgeous. The St Tropez shoes are another Essenz shoe that is at Whore Couture Fair, and honestly once you have these in your arsenal it wouldn’t be long until you could retire, you know if you really were whoring.

The collobor88 items I am wearing are the beautiful necklace from MG, it is a lovely mix on a secret locket and letter rolled into one. Then you have this great cafe sign, that is so cool and I will have to find a more permanent place for it, probably near my garage sign. The other day I showed some Pink Hustler hair, I did buy out the store, but this style today is the style I have not taken off since, I love this back behind the ears bob style, it is just perfect.

I love when What’s New SL takes me to new to me stores. Yesterday I shopped till I dropped at Pink Hustler and it was hair galore, so make sure you run over and grab everything. The dress is a divine creation from Ison, and it is at C88 this round, it has very sexy leather strapping, and is otherwise a very modest dress, so the combination is rawr. The shoes are stunners from Essenz at the annual Whore Couture Fair, they have the greatest mule look in their high awesomeness, and have texture change options for the metals.

Skin Fair 2015 is upon us and Deeetalez has released a new skin called Amy with Visage head appliers that are just gorgeous. You can also purchase hairbases separately, and the skin options are super. You get multiple brow options, different mole and freckle options or clear, and then different lipsticks and one smokey shadow as well as the nude lips and eyes options. Mixing them all up gives you lots of looks, and now that Visage has make up appliers options, you can be as unique as you want to be.

I loved the wood influence that those creating with the C88 Twin Peaks theme used in their items, seeing as there is a woodmill that plays a big part in the other parts of the storylines on that series. Yes surprises for all, it is not just about ‘Who killed Laura Palmer”. Mixing those wood elements, with some great blues in the pallete, by Tres Blah and Emery, to put together the clothing aspect of the look.

Following through with the fabulous accessories from LaGyo and again wearing the Ariskea pieces, this time in silver. Some fantastic shoes from Decoy finish it all up beautifully, and the pose actually is one of the options of the bag, so you too can look this well put together.

She was the innocent, the evil, the sneaky and the seductress all rolled into one. Behind every closed door she would lurk, she wanted all the secrets, and when she found out that some were too close to home, she managed to regroup and come out on top. She made the show something to watch, the show of course being Twin Peaks. I have to admit though, while it was actually on in Australia, I didn’t watch it…on occasion I would be at a friends place waiting for us to go out and her Mother would be watching it, and it would always be one of the oddest scenes, that I just cocked an eyebrow and humphed a little, not interested.

Then years later a friend got the first two videos and I watched it, then was so addicted, that I raced to the video store and got them all…that weekend I watched the whole series, and have watched it a few times since. It is incredible, the perfect blend of drama, thriller, rom com and more. I often do hear birds in cages squawking in my head – shudders- but that just goes with the territory. While Twin Peaks was scary in stages, it was really ‘Fire walk with me’ that was the scariest of them all, so if you haven’t watched the ‘prequel’ you really should.

The team over at C88 have really done a great job of combining bits and pieces of the show to draw inspiration from. While I am aware, the red curtains and chair were more to do with Laura and Detective Cooper, it really is Audrey that was a Puppet Master in so many ways.

The pants are highwaisted pants by The Secret Store and are just perfect for this look, combining them with a tank top from Blueberry. The shoes are from Ingenue at C88 as well and I just love the preciousness about them…there was a very vintagey air to Audrey, to the whole town really, even though it was set in the time it was created. Like they just didn’t quite evolve the same as everyone else, a little slower moving.

The skin is me being naughty. It is Viola a soon to be released at Skin Fair skin applier set by YS&YS. I tried so hard to be good, but when I took it off, and tried to wear something else, I just couldn’t…Viola is just perfect for Audrey, it was a must. It is so beautiful and so many options now with the Slink heads having make up layers.

The Jewellery is a mix of the stunning pearl rain sets that were at Shiny Shabby by Mandala. The amount of detail that they can get into anything is astounding…this set is just delish. The gold pieces are from Ariskea, and the gold metalic finish is wonderful, very realistic, so if you were after some true gold looking pieces, check them out at C88 for sure.

I have been running all over the place the past week wearing the same outfit, because I haven’t had a moment to change, and also it is just perfect. I saw these shorts at Uber and just fell in lust with them. Not only are they perfect cut off denim shorts, but they have all the loose threads modeled in actual mesh, not just textured…incredible detailing from Blueberry. These were made just prior to the HUGE Slink updates, in which the body, hands, feet and head all have had a large amount of incredible features added. So the fit is still fantastic, but I had to make sure and use both groin options on the body hud to be sure of perfect fit. Everything else was spot on, so just double check that before you leave the house.

The shorts come with two options, with or without coin belted look, because the event has a BOHO theme this round. I love both, but with the addition of the amazing leather jacket from Ison that is at this round of C88 – ending soon – it didn’t work with the belt. This jacket is amazing, and comes with the tshirt inner. The jacket comes with a hud that has 7 tshirt settings, the only way this could be even better is if there was a no shirt option, even if just made transparent by the hud so that you could wear it with other items. The detailing is superb, and Ison really never lets us down in terms of style and a real finger on the fashion pulse.

I picked up also these great shoes from Uber by Pure Poison. They are so clunky and just how you want your boho accessories to be, I just need a fabulous oversized bag now and I will be good to take on any day.  The shoes work with the Mid Slink feet, but also include options for Maitreya feet, as well as a brown version.

This gorgeous hair is from LeLutka, and comes in all those great new textures. I am so loving the range hud, so many fun colours that you may not wear usually, but when mixed in with more natural looks, it is almost a must for people that do take a lot of pics, or do a lot of ‘looks’ in their SL or just because, some days you wake up and need pinkish hair to get through your day.

One of the great new features in the SLink items is the NEW Utilities hud that works for hands and feet all in one. This thing is great, because it can minimise and just stay on my screen full time, then whenever I need to do anything there it is. The huge bonus, especially for those that like to play with their nail polish is that you can now select ANY NAIL and apply polish to it, and double win is that all older huds will still work. Meaning that every nail hud you own now has the capacity to give you thousands of nail look combinations. I am dreading how long it is going to take Whimsy to get ready for anything now :P.

Another great feature in the hud is that you get to change your wrist or ankle size on the hud, so now you only have one pair of feet or one set of hands in your inventory, not the previous five sizes of each. This is perfect for people that change not only their clothes but also their shape depending on their needs, could be that you are an amazon some days, and a pixie others, this way one set of each and you don't have to colour match for other looks. 

My favourite part is also the OFF functions for the wrists and ankles. Now if something is made incredible narrow at the wrist or ankle, you cannot clip through it, you just turn them off and VOILA you are perfect. If you have not updated yet, be sure to do so by using the Redelivery thing at their store. If your items are older as some of mine were, just contact Slink Resident.

The Heads have also now got Make Up layers, which is going to just make your ability to look different so much greater. Layers can now be added to by creators that do not only make skins, so those that love doing face tats, scars, adding a beauty mark here or there, and make up of course, can all get creating.

I released 10 new huds for Flair, that have a definite slanting towards mixing and matching the nails options. I am wearing some of them in this post, as I combined the black solid with a gold art set. Also in the older huds you had toenails or fingernails huds, sometimes combined, but either way, either hud will work now, so you do not have to wear both to access the nails you want to focus on.

Other NEWNESS because of the updates are the Glitter face make up that Adam n Eve has done, which also has specular maps, so it actually glistens with advanced lighting on. Eyeshadow and lipstick is also all Adam n Eve on top of the YS&YS skin, so now I am a Hybrid, so cool.

Maitreya has been updating older items, and creating new ones to work with their recent Body release Lara. If you have previously purchased Maitreya Gold footwear, or items such as the Skinny jeans and pastel versions, go and get them updated via redelivery. I am wearing the New Vixen dress that just coats the body beautifully, no alphas needed, and it is also fitted to the body, so that I can actually give myself a bit more va va voom.

The shoes are the older shiki shoes, and I just love these, the textures on the wedge are some of my favourite by Maitreya footwear, and they just work in day looks or sultry night ones such as this. Also wearing some fantastic jewellery from Yummy at this round of C88 , with hair by lamb and these wonderful candlesticks just helped set my mood by Pilot & Jim. Perched on my head for a little bit of the macabre, is the lovely fascinator by MiaMai, they do such charismatic pieces, you should give their store a whirl around every so often and just marvel at their work.

The Glam Affair skin is part of the Shiny Shabby event, and has a great range of make ups to choose from. It also has a great range of eyebrow options, so there is no need to despair, on which will go with which hair.

This dress by Tee*fy just makes you feel all girly and romantic, such a beautiful daytime frock for many occasions. I felt the urge to pick daisies and have a picnic while wearing it, but decided instead to spend time in the FIMA Winxbox to fulfill my floral urges. The flats by Ingenue, work perfectly with the beauty of the dress, and my NEW Kayla hair by LeLutka in one of the beautiful soft new textures just had me all whimsical.

It has been a heavy duty weekend, so I was glad to jump aboard a Whimsy run, while we visited Yasum. We do this every few months, just enough time to make it a buy everything in sight trip. I adore this dress, it is so tutu-esque and fit perfectly over my body. I even got the matching panties that fit snuggly underneath and also have big polka dots. I may just start wearing them on their own, so adorable they are.

I was busy doing work things the other day, while Ashia was visiting the Fantasy Gatcha event. She was squeeling and oooing and ahhhhing all over the place…and I was lucky enough to be sent some of her doubles. Then while I had the chance, I ran over and joined her and Whimsy, and shopped a lot, there are so many incredible items there. I was lucky to get this great RARE item from the Muka stall, and it was the complete white set of clothing I am wearing. It also has a posture collar mask combination that I was not able to wear because of my head, but such an incredible set, even if using pieces of it only.

The headress is from Zenith, also at the event, and it is just WOW! Not only is it gorgeous, but on some investigating, I realised that because it is linked pieces and modify, that I could wear it different ways. I can make the flowers invisible, and just have the face chain. Or I can make the chain invisible and just have the flowers, or make just one flower visible. It is an item that just keeps giving.

LeLutka has released 3 incredible NEW hairstyles, and also a GIFT style that will remain in the store full time. All the NEW hairs are in the courtyard under the lovely yellow and black tent. Each new style has the great new textures, and there  is a new RANGE pack that is like an essentials pack but jam packed full of 15 colours, from natural to fantasy.

Each hud has the base colours, then a fade option of those colours, and then on top of that, roots bases and then roots versions of the fades. So just the single packs alone give you 32 options. Great new pricing on the packs as well, so you will only have a hard time deciding between your packs or all.

Only a few days left before the new cycle of Collabor88 starts, so make sure you run over and grab the Emery leather shorts if you didn’t already. They work so well with this great top from Ison that is at the Uber event going on right now. I mixed them both together with some Glamistry shoes that have a lot of different options when it comes to being able to coordinate your looks.

I was getting my spanish dancer groove on with this pose, and then I wore myself out and needed a rest on my stool by The Loft, these are things that happen at our studio, we tend to get exhausted from all the laughing and ribbing eachother we do all day. I think that Samantha, the hairstyle by Damselfly is the last of the styles I picked up there recently, which I got in all black packs and of course have now decided that I want to go back to lighter colours, so we shall see how that pans out.
