Many moons ago I used to talk about ‘Bloggers Fate’ pretty much pertaining to the fact that whenever I was on a posestand (VR Studio Pose-stand to be specific) putting a look together, a dropdown or IM would occur from a Designer, and the item they were sending me, was usually spot on in keeping with the look, and brought it home.

One of the main culprits in these item bombs was Roslin Petion, she always knew when to jump into my space and say ‘Have I got exciting things for you’ or something to that effect, and she was always correct. Today such an IM occurred, this time with the news that her newer brand Poppy has added Slink Hourglass sizes to their rotation, and I was very excited to hear that. This romper by Poppy is just perfection in not only fit, but in its feminine adorableness. It is a release at the Kawaii Project, and as rompers go this tight in all the right places, with those adorable frill wings at the shoulders, just delights.

Even more exciting is that the pink option, which there is also a floral version of, is the right colour to go with these sexy heels by Mutresse. The colour options are never ending as with all Mutresse items, and the ability to mix and match, and add some darker pink to details of the shoes is a win win. They definitely make the look Pop!

One of my favourite things to do is as mentioned in the past is Hybrid me some hair, and with the two styles at C88 this round by Exile, the bangs of one work so well with the style of the other, so between the two you get four hairstyles, if that is your way too. I edited the bangs a little bit, as they were not made for the hair, but I only stretched them and moved them, no editing in P.S today.

All of the gorgeous decor is a mix of Soy, Junk, What Next and Fancy Decor, some of it is at C88 and Mixing the older and newer sets really makes decorating fun. Whimsy of course had a hand in it, adding and moving things into place, she is one of the most imaginative and quickest decorators, I wish she could get dressed as fast….would spend less time standing around yelling that earrings are not a must for every look if it involves me waiting an hour for her to find the right ones – this really happens.

Firstly it is FAKE FAKE FAKE! nope, not having some kind of virtual world meltdown or anything, just bringing your attention to the bottom of this stunning dress in my picture. That is not what the bottom of the skirt will do if you stand like this, Cynful as talented as they are did not reinvent mesh. It is me being tricky with PS that did that to give it a more realistic look and be able to show off these beautiful shoes by Baiastice at the same time.

Also fake is the lipstick colour, because I took a purple shade from the Chloe skin make-ups and tinted it with the LeLutka head hud, nifty trick and gives you so many options to play around with make-up, tattoo, hairbase and skin layers. Want to be green for a day, tint yourself green YAY.

I have a love affair with navy and silver, I think they are truly beautiful companions in many things, so this dress and the stunning necklace – it actually runs in a long chain down your spine MUST HAVE FOREVER….are the perfect match for me, those bare arms needed a little something to bring it home, so I grabbed the armband off marketplace.

I needed hair that would not take attention away from the lines of the dress and necklace, and this style by Vanity at this round of HairOlogy is just perfect, not an updo, but so sleek and stylish. It isn’t mod, but it does have a resizing option, if you click the word resizer on the top left of the HUD for colours, you get a drop down that allows you to change the size as needed, but always try demos. The blue/black colour is perfection, and the whole ensemble for me is win. I always think of Mel when I put navy and silver together, as one of the first pretty dresses he ever bought me was that combination, so it just makes me feel special and girly and all that jazz.

I do love the spikes in the metal of the shoes, and the sharp cut of the hair, just adds a little rebellion to the look…it is what every girl needs on occasion.

Some old and new items today, and an absolutely ancient one. The Hair Rose by Fiachra Lach was something that only really old readers and bloggers alike would possibly remember. It became my signature for many years, every outfit, every blog post contained a hair rose by Essentia. Not only was he my bestie, but also each rose was actually created in colours usually over something I wore, the collection grew and grew, he even screen shot my bum once to get a colour match to an Artilleri leopard bikini.

I still love my Essentia roses, so once this outfit started to come together, it truly was a no brainer to be the icing on the cake. Now the hair itself does come with flowers, beautiful, delicate ones, and it is a great style for it, actually it’s three styles for it, as it’s one of those great combination add on styles that you can build on with the pieces provided. Tableau Vivant has this Teri style out at Fameshed, and the messy updo, the long braid or the braid and updo combo, will fit right into your hair rotation.

I like seeing updo’s as a thing still in SL, it used to be a normal day to see Ladies tp into stores in full formal affair bald and trying to find that perfect one for their look before they tpd off again to an event. The days when events actually meant something different in SL. The days when it was normal to actually own enough gowns to cover your week, because anything could happen, and it was not uncommon to be invited to two or even more formal occasions in the same 24 hour period, that timezone thing is a killer.

We were actually discussing that, and the black and red and lace obsession that SL seemed to have in the olden days, every club used to have at least one black and red, or lace and leather contest a week…most creators based their releases on this very thing, and it worked. Seems the grain furrowed into my subconscious because here I am, without real intention in a black and red, with gold traces running through.

I saw these great earrings in the C88 rotation by Yummy, and if you have ever watched the ways of Yummy and older Paper Couture items, there was always a really nice leaning towards this kind of look. I love them, they are gorgeous, and with the Maxi Gossamer necklace , also at C88 the colour combinations came up a treat. Now usually I am more partial to Silver, but the gold just needed to happen.

I had the pants, these great skinny leathers by One Bad Pixel, that redid their whole collection to include Slink sizes for Original and Hourglass…then the shoes by Vale Koer being able to be textured in parts made it easy to combo my red and black. But it was the trip over to Gizza – Whimsy is going to be mad I went on my own – that really brought the look home, this embellished jacket is part of a two part shorts set, but wearing jacket only, because otherwise a tad too much. It is gorgeous, there is even more perfect detailing down the back. The set is a must have, and there just happened to be a crochet bikini top also at Gizza that fits under it, there is a tiny bit of poke through on the back of the neck, but not enough for me to pass it up, and as they are not made for each other it is not a fault.

I truly love the combination, and the re-telling of my Hair Roses story, I swear it has appeared at least 8 times over the years :P.

So we spent a few weeks in preparation of this event, as Whimsy Winx, Narcisse and I are all in this event, and it was so fun. I spent 5 days straight bald and in my default Slink body undies ( so convenient having those layers there always ) that I think I kind of broke my mind just a little bit. We were exhausted by the time we were finished.

Narcisse released some great skirts a most excellent tube top, and these awesome panties sets…there are also solid colour ones, but the prints options are way funna. So I was standing around in my star panties, and my tube top, and Whimsy called me Captain Underpants, and then because my favourite was Wonder Woman growing up, and she had the star panties, it ended up Captain Wonderpants.

Then I just had to go further, put on these great roller-skates by NeverWish that are also part of the event, this amazing hair by Wasabi Pills that is just Farahlicious, and I found me a cape. So seriously, this is exactly how I have been rolling around SL for the past few days.

Needing some drippingly sexy red lippy, I went with one of the bento make-up sets by Glam Affair that were released around the same time as the Chloe skin. So succulent and the addition of eyeshadow also released around the same time. I could really take on some villians now, no problem scissor kicks to the head and wheel on out of there.

Late one night Narcisse and I went to Body Language to check out the Bento Ao’s, five Aos later and I am having way too much fun, I feel like I am on some kind of inner SL vacay. How did we survive without bento? and YAY for Slink Dynamic hands updates from original static mesh purchase, that was an awesome gift to the masses.

Over the years I have edited and resized many pots, and planters, and urns and stuff…I usually make smaller things bigger, and big things a tad smaller if needed. Such is the case with the dresser needing to be a touch smaller to fit under my arm for my pose. I also often resize rugs to be larger as needed, but I do think this is the first time I have made a rug so small it became instead a runner for a chest of drawers.

Today I did just that, and while you cannot really see it, it is there in its wrinkly glory, sitting under the lovely planter that was just right in size. It is a lovely blue rug with white stripes and just looks awesome on top, so while the items are not only mod, they are also copy, so you can adorn all your tops with one if you like the look.

I mentioned in one of my last posts, that I love double breasted button looks, and in this case it is not clothing, but the drawer pulls on this tallboy, and it made putting together this all business look very easy. As did these stunner pants by Spirit that are definitely must haves especially if you like a dressier more sophisticated style in your wardrobe.

Teaming them together with a great blazer by Coco, that while does not have body sizes, fit me perfectly when using the right alpha options with the Slink body utilities hud. Some statement jewellery with this marvelous set by LaGyo, also a c88 item, brings the professionalism to the meeting with style and flair (winks).

Now while I am not a big flat shoe wearer, when putting together a look like this, it would definitely be a heel of sorts, but these April flats are the perfect look for the combination, because the ankle strapping is more evident by the shorter of leg style of pants, making them perfect together, and one cannot spend the whole day wheeling and dealing in heels.

I have mixed the last powder pack release skin by YS&YS with their this months selection of make ups, so that I am all YS&YS and all glorious.

So if you have been asleep, Exile has redone their Hair Textures and you should really run to their store and get your hands on them. The Greyscale pack is divine, and I am loving the options of some lighter colours in there, and the blacks that you can see highlights in, so good. The hairs are mod, so you can also play around with a little tint or two, if you are so motivated, it doesn’t always translate well to tint things, but can be fun. I have included a pic of the Key of textures, so you can see how much you want to get your hands on them. The newest releases at Collabor88 have these new textures included, and the Green Light is going to be a firm favourite for looks that want you bare shouldered, and looking fierce.

Another piece of fierce is this divine tank from Ison, also at C88, the straps are so well done, but it is the wrap around neck straps that I just love. The relaxed fall of the ties, the knot, it all looks so natural and in no way stiff. The plunging neckline also has an attention grabbing element to it. Great for casual looks, but with the right lower you could make this a very elegant look.

The make up used is all part of the Agnes skin release by Glam Affair, stunning red lips, that with the shimmer option and some lights is a glossy wet and devour ready red. The skin is being worn on Chloe by LeLutka, but looks equally delish on all of the heads.

My pic is taken in this awesome backdrop 3d environment that I got at Pose Fair by Wetcat, it isn’t an exclusive but it was a must have as soon as I saw it. Stuffed full of poses, it is a fantastic back alley, fire escape combination street scene. You just have to get it, even if you feel like you have no need for it this second, it is a must. I did alter up the poses with some bento static poses by Slink and some adjustments with my animare, but that was just for the pic taken.

I was looking for Moles, because I felt the skin with the red lips needed some Sherilyn Fenn’ing up (that is so a thing). Because I just searched Mole, I ended up with my little fire escape friend Mole by D-Lab, how cute is he, and if you have no yard and want some green thumbing,  then these succulents are a joy, they are super quality and really enrich the space they are set out in.

Waiting to know what the day has in store for you, is my awaiting orders kind of vibe in my picture today. This garden shed, has such a great feel to it, I can imagine decorating it to the nines, but seriously as just some abandoned location in some far off Island somewhere, where there is possibility of a hostile takeover any minute, is too much fun also. The walls are gorgeous, every detail is inspired, I would love more pieces to this as a collection. Soy did an amazing job of this, and it is yours to be had at Collabor88 right now. I added some beautiful plants by Nomad that are also at the event, and they are great pieces if you like a tropical getaway.

Double breasted military button detailing always has me on rez. If it is good work more the better, but when it is Mutresse that just means exceptional work. The hotpants are just that and more, and then the extra tight in all the right places, tback vest is just icing on the cake. I had to include pics of the HUDs as I felt like I was letting you down only showing it in black, when it can be so much more. Do not misunderstand me, if it only came in black it would still be a must have item. You get not only the main faces to change though, as in the case of Mutresse items, there are multiple faces you can change with the outstanding array of colours and texture designs. This is also a C88 item, so get on over and get your wriggle on.

I went to Razor on a shopping jaunt earlier today. I like Razors edginess and as soon as I started to type Razor and Edge I snickered. The build is worth the visit, that guy really needs to build stores on the side for a living, because that build is stupendous. Anyway, moving on from that, I bought a few great fitting items, as they tend to include all options including both Slink bodies…I got this fantastic Guardian Chest and Leg harness set, with guns (guns are detachable). Gun stuff is not usually my go to, that is a Whimsy thing, but it was because of that, I wanted to gear up. It was mostly also because the strapping was so cool, it was a must have. Now there is also a chest section, not worn, and what I loved the most was that they included the legs section in a SHORTS size, as in to fit over the shorts they have in the store recently released around the same time as the harness SMART THINKING RAZOR – I wish more stores would create things to go with their other things – the bonus round was that because of that it fit perfectly over the Mutresse shorts, so it was double win.

I ran over to Red Mint and grabbed this hair that was just perfect to finish off the look. I had not been over in some time, and she has my heart over there that her blonde packs include her blacks – like winning the hair lottery for me. The ties around the tails have texture change options, some of which are metallic, but I am also looking forward to wearing the turquoise version also.

The outfit also gave me a chance to wear one of my favourite purchases from recent Shoetopia event, the Coco sandals with sheer socks, seriously love these shoes. They work with mid height feet, and just are so adorable. You can wear with or without the socks.

The Skinnery has released a skin applier for LeLutka at this round of C88, and it is a youthful charmer, with a small smattering of freckles. I am however wearing it with makeup acquired from the LeLutka Powder Pack of this past month, Pink Fuel lip gloss and eyeshadow from Slack Girl.

You may say porch, patio or verandah, but either way it is definitely the location of many fun times. Some use the front, the back or a separate little build like this great one by Cheeky Pea at this round of Uber. Filling it with some chillaxing items, one of which had to be a radio, because my verandah was all about dancing with cassette tapes playing, mixed tapes, or cassingles – seriously they were a thing.

Some great wicker chairs by Trompe Loeil, and some LODE decor, all combined together to just make perfection, and with SL having no weather system – don’t you often wish they did for real – it can be its own little home, because some days you just don’t want walls.

Now about these pants, serious love happening over here, instantly made me want to recreate some Charlies Angels dance moves, but no time today, lots of things brewing. The pants are by spirit and everything about them is gorgeous, the only sad part is I need MORE COLOURS there are great colours to choose from, and combinations using the fatpack options with bonus colours, but seriously where are all the other colours I want, these needs to come in a fiftyhundredy pack. I teamed it up with the great little crop tank by Cynful, this thing is off the chain, actually it is in the sense it is awesome, but the truth is that the chain is on the top. It has metal options and gemstone options, and some delightful fatpack colours as a bonus , which this great yellow is part of.

Teaming up the look with this lovely hair by Nani, that just flows all soft and luxurious it really is just a beautiful day lounging around look. Or if you want to do something even Funna, then you need to be sorting out your LeLutka Powder Pack from this month, and if you did not get it, trust me paying double for it now is still absolutely worth it especially for store owners that use a lot of different looks for store ads. There are three different full skin packs, a ton of make up options, and it is the very first pack, so it is just a MUST HAVE! all around.

I am wearing the glossy lipsticks by Pink Fuel, the gorgeous Maria skin by Glam Affair that came in all tones. Then adding the delightful lashes by Adored, with brows also by adored.

Honestly if you are LeLutka Bento head wearing, then this pack is something you need to grab, and if you know any new people, or are planning on kitting out an alt, this is a fantastic way to do so. I got it at the early sign up price of 1500L but it is now 3000L and as I said,  with three full skins alone, it is well worth the price either way.

I decided to do a fun little movie on my shopping prowess at Shoetopia…

When you have early access to an event, often as is the case, you run over grab all the things you can carry, and depart. Then realise that you did need at least 2 more fatpacks, and some guy shoes just in case you have to be a man for some reason or another. Then you decide to go back and forth another two times, and think you have it all sorted. Then hours before opening you realise you should have filmed it, and so you run back and you do…then realising later it’s not how you wanted to film it, because you have this awesome (to you) idea on how it should play out.

So then you go back use CTRL ALT SHIFT 4 removing all the avatars and yourself, and then film again. My apologies to those I stepped on, walked over and so on…there was this one time I ended up flying up and out a window, so I think I used someone as a ramp (sorry about that whoever you are).

I purchased as much as I could, had there been all options in many I would have most likely bought most of the event…but alas no, I was also lucky enough to be sent some items for blogging so incorporated both. What I did get, I was very impressed with, especially the different options in some styles, that just enhanced the footwear so much. I especially enjoyed the use of materials used by those that have that all sussed out. You can usually tell when rezzing the fabric of a shoe and you see the maps before you see the colours. Amazing for footwear, or any leather goods really, but seeing proper snakeskin or alligator, proper leather and the like, very nice indeed. Big thumbs up for the shoe creators at this event.

The location is easy to navigate, and the use of wardrobe props to give it a Carries closet like vibe, very smart on the organisers part. The event is a good way to get your footwear addiction taken care of, not all stores are represented, as often dates and time factors in there, but those that are present and accounted for did a great job, and some stores are newer to footwear creation but well known stores, so we hope this event urges them to keep on keeping on.

Teleport to Shoetopia

This top by Maddict at Collabor88 is meant to be worn with the matching panties…with a healthy dose of side boob, it is very alluring. However, the tunic style to it, had me wanting to piece together more of a day out and about look. Layering it over the top of an appliers knit sweater by Sn@tch and some recently updated to include appliers, frayed shorts by League – her texture work is marvelous, so I hope more of her older items end up updated to appliers.

With the addition of the booties by Mutresse, being able to change the colours combination with their fancy hud greatness, urged me to incorporate more colour into the look. I had originally opted for a grey combination, but I found this old clutch I had from many years ago – so old it is sculpts, but still looks great – so the colours just kept popping.

Grey and Yellow are also a great combination, and I could not resist the sunny options of this little cabinet, and the oh so cute ceramic friends decor. I resized them all, as I am prone to do if you give me the option, so I made a little Succulents family.

I am still enamored by my Cate head by LeLutka that is at Skin Fair at the moment, the skin I am wearing is the Cate skin by Glam Affair also at Skin Fair, with some of the beautiful make up that comes with. I love this smokey soft grey eyeshadow, will be keeping that on for a bit.
