One of the other great reasons to use the Petite Augment by Slink is that it can enable stacking of mesh in standard sizing fits of old, that may have not been possible to wear with your regular breast size and shape. I am wearing the latest Oh Carol bustier from the gorgeous lingerie set by Adam n Eve that is at Vintage Fair currently, with this over the shoulder blazer I have from Emery that is much smoother over the chest and was made in standard sizing.

The Slink Petite Augment fits perfectly underneath as well as the bustier in mesh no clipping and a smoother and more sophisticated look. I have on the wrong kind of cleavage for the petites but I wanted so much to wear the new skin by YS&YS I let it go this time. It is not overly cleavage enhanced though, and I do have my shape settings to around 80 even with the petites on so it is probably an A cup? I can pretend I have those chicken fillet things stuffed in my bustier for a bit of extra lift – you believe me right.

The coat is gorgeous, but as it was made standard sizing and actually I do believe pre-mesh bodies, it pretty much just alphad out the entire arms/hands with wearable alpha, I think the idea was to believe your arms and hands were just underneath, it does not come with any animations to lock them in place so it is definitely more of a prop item than a definite wearable, unless you don’t mind hiding all, and with the new slink body hud options you can in fact just turn off your hands and wrists as well.

The style of coat and the bustier, especially in this colour, worked really well with the style I wanted for the day, the pants are from my recent trip over to Fashionably Dead and for great trousers these are wonderful. The style and colour made it a no-brainer when pairing the lookup with these clog style heels by Utopia.

Hair drawn back from the face or using the new styling features on the Mina hair HUD I could go with looser tendrils framing the face option, but I would leave that for the end of the day, I have to start out a little more put together, first impressions and all that. Love that about the styling huds, do not have to be huge options, just little nuances that can take you from one time of day or set to another.

I may have mentioned in yesterdays post how much I was enjoying my bottom in the Skinnery skin appliers. I had purchased the new Drew skin and when I applied to the body, I was reminded of the nice bum factor of it. We tend to spend a lot of time back there, so it is nice when everything is as pretty as can be.

So when I saw that Cynful had released some new shorter than short shorts, I ran over this evening and picked up the new Baewatch set – you get shorts and a cute half covering tank top – as well as other shorts set called Rain Baby that comes with a hoodie. Lots of options whether single or fatpacking, so check out the HUDs in the demo, as Cynful explains visually as well as text what is included if only opting for the single colour purchase, which is nice and helpful.

I have had these gacha sets rezzed on my platform for ages now, saw them at backdrop city when it first opened and everything we saw that we liked Whimsy and I ran over to their stores and grabbed whatever we could…we like to own things, even if like these they sat around maturing for months. They are very Miami Beach scene looking – to me who has never been and watches way too many movies. If Barbie was going to rent for the summer, this is what it would look like I imagine.

Exile has released this amazing style of hair at Rewind, and it does come with adorable daisy flowers scattered all over it, but I opted for the without option, because I was feeling very sporty and such. The styling HUD included has the full style front option, then side swept left and right options and all with and without the flowers.

I have so many sets of rollerskates now, but I could not resist these by N-Core, they say they are for Slink Physique Original, but as they do not go higher than the knee they fit Hourglass also. The shoes by Rebel Gal are just too much fun with their racey look. You can change so many of the features with the HUD in the fatpack, and they even did some of the work for you by including some combinations already set. Matchy matchy with my shorts set.

Sometimes you just have to make your own weather, and with these pants by Coco I brought the sunshine to my wintery world. It is very cold down under at the moment, and these pants just make me deliriously happy. I have been waiting for wide legged pants like this since Celoe closed their doors, and need more colour options. You can get them at this round of Fameshed and while there is a top that looks great with them there also, Coco just released this great semi tucked shirt that is perfect as a great staple piece for your wardrobe.

Ran around the grid a bit the past few days, went over to the new session of Rewind – Summer of Love event. It looks fantastic, and so well laid out. I love the Coachella/Woodstock look of it all. I got this gorgeous skin for LeLutka by The Skinnery, so loving the face, and my bottom looks sensational. I also picked up this hair by Navy & Copper which had been released at another event but suits the theme, so check before you buy that you haven’t already purchased it before. I especially love the hair wrap as it is textured so well it seems fluffy and soft.

The shoes I am wearing are at Kustom9 and if you get the fatpack you get the option to change all the parts so you can do as I did, and coordinate with your outfit. They are beautiful strappy high heels, with the ruffle look across the foot. The build is also at K9 and is such a great loft style and I could not resist these windows and the radiator making the scene – because even though I have on yellow bright pants, I am still freezing.

Fashionably Dead than Fashionably Late. The other day I was checking on some slurls for my post on Tres Blah and realised that I have not been to Lulu sim in a long time. I wanted to see if they had done any landscaping projects, because Lulu used to be a much visited sim by many for their outdoors. It is still lovely over there but I realised that I could not walk from store to store, as the paths do not lead that way, once you go out and over the bridge you have to go back in from store to store, tricky, but thank goodness for flying.

I flew over to Fashionably Dead and picked up some group gifts, then some jeans, then some, well room to room got my attention, each item complimented other items, and actually fit eachother even if not made for the same time. I am not sure that is definitely the case for everything, but everything I got did so, and I got pretty much something from everywhere.

The boyfriend jeans are perfect for people that are not low slung hip hugging wearers, the boyfriend look is still very cool for just spending the day out and about. The top is so pretty, and because of its satiny goodness, it can be casual dressy or dressy dressy, which is marvelous. For a day out and about and with bared shoulders, I went with this oversized sun hat by Baiastice, that includes a bandana only option, and I am a fan of bandanas as you know.

The casual dressy worked out well with the margot slippers by Slink where you can turn on or off the straps, and also have the deluxe feet option of all heights, so you can be on pointe or kitten, mid, high and flat. I love these as a quick pretty shoe, and kept them throughout the post.

Then moving into these resort pants, I was feeling the blush pink, and the top is a top from a spring shorts set, but as a top is great too. I added the choker part of the one shoulder top by Coco that is at this months Fameshed, I knew I would get great use from the choker aspect of it.

Lastly the top was a gift at FD, and as I mentioned it fit perfectly with the skirt that was actually made to fit over a henley style bodysuit, but I wanted to see what I could do with it even further, so the top, then the addition of some highwasted pants by Muka perfectly fitting underneath. I am using those sleeve add ons by Tee*fy again, I love them, and they come in handy so much to round out and change a look.

The styles of hair are by Exile, and I was feeling their brunette to blonde mixes today, which paired with the Alessa skin by League, just makes me feel all rawr and ready to take on the day/night.

I promised more of these stunning knickers by Adam n Eve featured at this years Vintage Fair that is now open to the public. These are the second option of the Gacha prizes available, the polka dot versions come in ten colours and the rare is all colours.

If you had been anywhere near me last night, you would have blocked your ears to stop them bleeding as the screams of joy from my platform were piercing. Not only do I love the polka dot version of these pants all by themselves, but to find that the Hope Kimono by Tres Blah fit over them as though made for eachother had me incredibly excited. Not a smidge of clipping anywhere, I am even right now as I write this dancing in a stunning build by Bryn Oh which is an instalation of single scene poems she has created, it is raining and I am dancing and I am enjoying it a lot.

So as mentioned yesterday, you can get the floral or the polka dot knickers as a gacha item, and then add the solids by purchasing them with the matching bustiers, or just grab the solids in the colours/fatpack you like. They even come with petites options included.

I love this look, as it is the weekend and the idea of just spending time in the home, enjoying the space, being comfortable and very girly, and it gave me another reason to show off the bedding by Cheeky Pea.

This hair by Exile has the shorter bangs that give a very Betty Page look to the style, and that right there is all the vintage look love. Slipping into some flat mules by G Field with their pretty little bows across the foot, everything is perfect. I hope your day is.

Vintage Fair 2018 by Pale Girl Productions opens today at NOON SLT. That gives you enough time to peruse all the available options you have to see in advance the amazing creations this two simmed event has for you to delight in. All items are themed pre 1980’s so for all you vintage fans, this is your event.

Culprit has done a lovely job on the builds and everything available is of fantastic quality and so many different types of stores that you will need to visit a few times over the coming weeks.

Adam n Eve has released their first mesh items for this event, with two dresses and the amazing French Knickers shown. However the Flower version is a Gacha item, as well as a gorgeous Polka Dot pair, both come in 10 colours and if you win the rare you get the fatpack of all.  The even better news is that there is also a solid set, with a matching bustier that you can purchase, so you can either just go for the top and bottom set in solids, or combine gacha knickers with solids and so on, this way getting a lot more variation.

For this first picture – and I do plan to do more, maybe even in this post, because I am just typing at the moment so anything could happen – I am wearing the floral knickers in pink,  but opted to wear them with this furry boa by Kaithleens that was from an event last year. These thigh high stockings by Luxuria are lovely, and with the perfect vintage seams. I did tint them slightly from the Slink Body Utilities HUD so that they came in closer to the pink in the knickers.

To show such great lingerie looks, a bed is often the definite go to, but this bed is above and beyond, not only is it so pretty, but with the flower detailing it was a match made in my bedroom. The bed actually comes in PG or Adult options, and when you sit on it the covers are removed so you are left with the sheets, but as I wanted you to see how beautiful the bedding was, I used my VR Studio pose stand to pose on top.

Laying down is often difficult with different pieces and items not exactly laying flat, but this hair by Exile just pulled everything together beautifully in that regard, it is the perfect style for action looking pics, turbulent weather and all that, or some dancing etc, but for laying down and the lovely waves it suited what I wanted to a tee. Bringing all the pinks together, I opted for some of the makeup from the recent launch of the LookBook HUD that I posted a week ago. This set is by Alaska Metropolitan and her make up is always so luxurious.

Being a kid of the 70’s Safari stuff was all the rage, for men and women. I have mentioned in the past that my Mum had a few of the jumpsuits, and most of the men I knew and even some boys my age had little safari suits or the safari shirts. The look is timeless, it comes around every once in a while, and each take on the look gets more inviting, and this dress by Vinyl is inviting in a whole range of ways.

Firstly the belt is texture change and even the belt style is right on the money. Those belts were so good at staying fixed that you often had to wrestle with them to get them to let you free again. The buttons, the creases and the pockets all fantastic, even the unbuttoned look works great. Personally, as I have said in the past on numerous occasions the shading nipple look is not my personal taste, because they often are not strong enough to give that much detail to the kind of fabric used, but also it makes me personally self-conscious to be high beaming all over the place. However this dress is not overly shaded, it is a little more – you are not wearing a bra – than anything, so it works. I do wish stores would give us the option of yes or no, but again that is me.

I also got to wear this great hairstyle I grabbed at Shiny Shabby the other day that comes down enough at the front so that again it subdues the look. With the military safari combination look, these boots came out great, with the ability to change the slip cover portion to the similar colour as the dress, and the heels part similar to the belt. They are going to protect my ankles from any nasty critter bites I may need to avoid in the jungle.

The jeep is a full perms by Meli Imako, I threw the texture in PS to make the colour work, it was neon green to start with, it is often fun for props and the like for pictures to just grab some full perms and make it how you need it.

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of Tempura Island, a beautiful sim that is so graciously supported by the Mandala team of Kikunosuke, Chikae and Polly. Many years have passed and many times I have visited the island to just enjoy the gift that it really is as a location for any and all to enjoy. There is the beautiful formal setting for dancing or just enjoying time with friends or loved ones, then there are the outdoor areas that are either lovely to just relax in, or to take up a poseball and get your Tai Chi on.

I was honoured to be asked to write up something for their website commemorating this decade milestone and you will find my best wishes as well as many who have also delighted in this wonderful sim. I wish everyone a very happy 10th Anniversary and hope that it reminds everyone to take some really important time to explore this great world we have here, and be proud that we are part of such a fantastic community each and every day.

The excitement is real people, the ability to make a cuppa, get comfy on the sofa and slowly go through some great makeup options is coming to you live on the 27th May. Now I personally see people often asking after makeup appliers, where can I find this or that, and people throw some names at them and off they run. But this new LOOKBOOK HUD system is going to save you a lot of TPing around, and give you the things you may have not known you were ever in need of until you see them there live and lovely.

On the 27th of May as in very very soon, you can get this HUD for FREE! from either the Marketplace store or locations at various stores around the grid. The heads catered to in the HUD are LeLutka and Catwa primarily, but you will also find that some of the creators have included Omega, other heads and even System layers for people that do not wear mesh heads, or for the upcoming baked on mesh.

Once you first wear the HUD you can choose to search using the option at the top of the HUD and input the name of the store you know is participating, or if you are unsure, you can type a store you like and see if they are participating. The other great thing about something like this is that you can be introduced to a brand you may never have found tping around the grid, and now you have them on your radar to visit their store when you are finished lounging at home shopping from the HUD.

Ok so again you wear the HUD, you find an item you have interest in, and you click the DEMO to try, it will send you a demo immediately and then you can buy from either the brand button for the head you wear, or the main picture which means you get all the options available. When you first select an item it will ask you to grant it permissions to accept payment from you. If you try and buy something you have already purchased it will just send it again, this HUD will be something you can go back to over the month if you do not buy it all in one go.

The HUD has options for lipsticks, eyeshadows, eyes, lashes and some very cute highlights for the face. Something for many of your makeup needs. I tried on many items from many great creators and put together some collages of the looks on my wonderful new Faith skin by Glam Affair that is at Kustom9.  I am also rocking out another great top for the Slink Petite Augments, and rocking is right, rocking and rolling.

So this time I got a little nostalgic, as well as thankful for the great friends I have, one of whom is Ashia Tomsen and her input of letters and colours in the last few weeks for my posts. It reminded me that years ago Dove Swanson of Long Awkward Pose did a few sets of poses named after some friends of hers, I was honored to be one of them, and most of the people I also knew, so decided to turn it into a post where I used the pose and then dressed as the person, my own take on their style etc. The post is HERE and some of the names will be familiar to you still today.

So with that being a thing I do, even years later, today’s letters are based on Ashia’s name, and the look that to me represents her style and fun. It was also a way to show that even though on my feet, she wears shoes very rarely, but if she is wearing shoes, they are usually something as incredible as these by Azoury, and she is a huge fan of Azoury so it was perfect. The outfit is all the things, some punk for the UK and her colours red and black, also she does like to show her bottom off – dodges the smack she just sent me telepathically.

She loves her ink, and while not a huge tattoo wearer, for me Izzie’s is the perfect mix of delicate when it comes to tattoo adornments. Ears, well she has probably every type of ear style that is available in Second Life, and I know she is a big fan of Swallow. These elf ears are so cute, the chainwork and detailing are really lovely. I did find it a bit fiddly with skin matching at first, their texture options are very high quality, so it sometimes does not translate when skins are a bit more matte. But I got there eventually and only had to do a tiny blend for my picture just because.

The hair was also an easy reach, being an A name just happened to be convenient but Adoness is a much-beloved stylist for shaved looking side styles or just your roar kind of look. I am not using a shaved base in this pic though, using the default hairbase in the LeLutka head hud because it has very similar highlights as the black hair textures on the Adoness hair, so it is very nice together.
