Hair Fair Events
I it so awesome that with Hair fair only days away there is so much excitement building. One of the things that Hair Fair has in store is events throughout the duration of the Fair. So many incredible designers have donated to Hair Fair this year.

Feri Beckenbauer of Beckenbauer Productions has a passion for lots of wonderful things, one of them is armor. Last year he created an armor set that took months to finish and I got to show it on appearance mode. This new set the X1 Project is just incredible, he has done a female version this time, thank goodness, and the prim work and fit is just amazing.
Once I had it on I felt courageous, like I was in some rebel force that was going to save the city from ruin by baddies. I don’t know if you remember the show V but I was such a huge fan, and the group that took down the people eating reptile aliens were my heroes. So now thanks to Feri, if they ever come back, I am prepared.
The set consists of about a billion prims, and every single detail is spot on, there is even a light system in the arm band things so that it looks like it does something fabulous. The Hayden hair from Goldi Locks is one I bought earlier in the week- it’s hard working with such creative people with Hair Fair, you just can’t help but tp over to their stores and shopping, I’m going to be broke before it even starts. This style is also empowering, I just love the side swept hawke look, its tough and pretty all at once.
Speaking of pretty, if you are going to help save the planet, you need to make sure you look hot doing it- just like they do in movies lol. So the Le Salon Dulce skin – josephine (cake) from Comme Il Faute is the one I am wearing in this shot, the gold make up is so yummy, and the beauty mark just adorable. I was given these to show just prior to the opening of Le Salon, so make sure you try on Demo’s as I have seen a few posts by Moire of different things regarding them.
I couldn’t help myself, wanting to stick to the hero theme of the post was too easy, Ultra Girl is a set by Bare Rose in an abundance of colour and the latex work on these is incredible. The light reflections are superb and even though tight it feels off the skin, which is something I adore in great texture work. This set has all the pieces you need to save the day, another favourite show of mine during the 80’s was the Greatest American Hero one, he was so accident prone I loved him. That would be so me, I mean I walk into walls and furniture and up stairs all the time, and I am not even talking about in world.The Ultra Girl set also comes with two poses, the one of the left and the flying one you see in the background, just awesome to think of those extras for such a stunning costume and at the normal Bare Rose prices, so it’s a bargain. le salon – Dulce skin – nadine (cake) from Comme il Faute is the second skin I am wearing and again such pretty make-up with lovely soft mauve lips.

I Yabba Dabba Dooo , Do You ?
So the other day I was blessed with a delivery of the latest Boneyard Voodoo shoes from Canimal. My reaction was Sasy Scarborough: those are so cute , i neeeeeed pebbles hair now. So all week I kept thinking of that idea, as you see I am a HUGE fan of Pebbles Flintstone, like nuts about her actually, I even used to have a huge window sticker of her on my car. It goes back allot further though, the whole Hanna and Barbera thing, as my mum used to hostess parties for them in the 70’s and sure enough innocent little me used to fall asleep in the guestroom and had no idea until I was much older that I was in the presence of cartoon Gods.So again, this week I kept thinking about if Pebbles was in this time and not bedrock, what would she wear, well these adorable shoes for one thing – close up at the end. So rummaging around in my inventory, I found some great little looks that I think that she would love to wear, in keeping with her heritage and all.
First off I already had this wonderful Rebel Yell dress in the lime green from Canimal, but the emerald option in these fab colour change shoes was a bit too dark, so off I went to see what other fab colours it came in. Sure enough perfection with the pink version, and it got better. The shoes have not just bones that Pebble used to love to adorn herself in , but also skulls – yes can go invisible with a click- and the lovely black and white detailing at the top of this wonderful leopard print dress also features skulls, match made in heaven me thinks.
It’s tight it’s sexy and Bamm Bamm would just love it. In keeping with her true brilliant red hair, I went with the Curio Gertrude style in white blonde and tinted it to get this rich colour. The whole look sensational in my opinion for date night and clubbing.
A touch more elegant, maybe a business function as you all know that Pebbles was destined to go on to great things. The House of Nyla Vintage Leopard set is perfect. there are so many options to this set, but of course with my System Skirt Love , this is my favourite. The halter neck and the just above the calves length is pure bliss, and perfect for a night out entertaining or perhaps even the races, as it does come with two hats – why do we not do races in Phils Place, I often wonder about that, I mean there are major major race days in so many countries I think it would be bliss to hold events like that *waves arms around trying to get someone to take notice of that idea :P*.Again keeping true to delish reds, I am wearing the Avery hair by Here Comes Trouble, pulled back into a long pony but with the right accessories and clothing can look either casual or sleek and sophisticated. I went with the fantastic Dela Zazu Clutch in faux Crocodile, and the beautiful Berlioz earrings in gold and black. Kuranosuke Kamachi is so talented with her textures, I just love the high quality of these.
As I have mentioned it’s FREEEZING here lol, and so with that in mind, and because its just so delish, the Kats Meow coat in Leopard from Artilleri is just one of my favourite coats. I had bought this one first but when there was a sale last awhile back I had to get them in all available colours and prints. Vintage at its finest, and just snuggly warm. Again texture is just beautiful and the print is Pebbles all over. Worn with the Black Dress Pants from First Impressions its a divine look for shopping or doing lunch on breezy days.The hair is the Lolli hair from Katat0nik, this style is not only adorable but it has texture change and bow colour change options at a click. I have however tinted the hair and the headband to again get that right sort of Pebbles Red – just be sure when doing things like this you copy and paste an original version into the same folder, that way you wont freak out when your hair wont retexture the way it should forgetting you have added a tint.
This time the earrings again from Dela are the Antonia earrings in black, absolutely not planned but oh so relevant. In this picture I am also using the new Bella poses from Juicy, which gave it just the tude I needed.
The skin I am wearing for all the pics is the PopFuzz Skin Tan – <3 Cupcakes Dark Shadow, I adore this collab skin, it’s one I wear often , the softness of the face is just stunning and the shading on the chest is enhancing without being too overdone, fantastic for the styles worn today. This is a great skin collab between Mimi Coral and Popfuzz Bamboo and can be found at Popfuzz.
Now a close up of the sensational shoes that inspired me and todays post. Boneyard Voodoo from Canimal come with all the colours shown as texture change option in the shoes, those adorable little bones and the lace detailing stay as is , but the skulls at front and back can go invisible if you choose.
The striped textures are rich and colourful and so many of them work wonderfully well with the colours available in clothing in Canimal itself. They are just fab and I know that if Pebbles does ever find that time machine and comes to visit they will definitely be on her shopping list.

Yay! she is back WOOOT!
Ok so the she is back part of this post is going to be about the hair that I am wearing with all the items. You see back in February I blogged a designer that I had never seen before then, only to find out the next day that she had closed her store, this was because some nasty so called friends had belittled her abilities, upsetting her so much she closed down.
I posted another post straight after about how upset that made me, and the response from people was wonderful, everyone IM’ing her to keep going and so on. Well she always promised one day she would return and last night I got an IM from the lovely Kyoko Forcella to say that White Well was back. Not only is she back, but while still setting up her newer styles she has set out the older ones many missed out on at only 10L each, and even though these are only in one colour, some of them tint really well, as you can see with the red tint I have added to the first pic.
The first pic today is of the lovely Zaara Gown from SySy Designs, SySy Chapman has created this lovely gown in honor of the other wonderful creator Zaara Kohime, of Zaara Indian Couture. Both lovely ladies and it is such a gorgeous gown. The colours and rich and flavoursome colours on a black base, they remind me of saffron and other taste bud tantalising colours. The beautiful pendant at the join of this dress is also stunning and is on the fabric itself so no need to spare any attachment points.
The hair is the ww*hair-012a by White Well and just a really nice style, casually or formal. Now about these skins shown today, they are by Ashia Tomsen and as soon as I saw them at AD (Ashia Designs) I fell in lust, the make ups on all of these are so unusual and extravagant, and the colours in Timeless Couture-Vanity 6 just went perfectly with this Gown.
This next dress is Celie, also by SySy Designs and just lovely. Being shown here in the blue, I couldn’t resist adorning myself in the lovely newish Oval Metal Rings Jewelry set in Silver from Persona, the pieces available are the Necklace which is draped beautifully down the chest, the earrings and the lovely bracelet and bangles option, I adore the chunky bangle I am wearing on the left wrist.This dress style is just super cute and great for those days when you want to feel carefree and prettyful , but are already prepared if something comes up, as the look is definitely stylish. The Hair is the and the Skin is the ww*hair-021Timeless Couture-Vanity 7, aren’t the make-ups just heavenly.
The Celie in green is just gorgeous too, and the third colour not shown but available is Mocha, equally yummy. I adore this kind of green its just so fresh and inspiring. I am wearing also the same Oval Metal Rings set but this time in the Gold, which with green works a treat. The Cobalt and the Green Hair Roses by Essentia are also two of my favourite colours in the range, so I am always happy when they go so well with beautiful clothes like this.The ww*hair-019, has to be this time and way back in February still one of my favourites of the White Well styles and now at 10L everyone can have it and love it too. I adore that from the front it looks like a short style and then at the back you have the long pony, so cute, and how she did the bangs is just Yum!.
Speaking of Yum, *AD* Timeless Couture-Vanity 9 is gorrrrgeous, I played around with an eloh base a while back to try to create a look around the eyes similar to this, and Ashia nailed it hands down, its just wonderful.
With Persona being intertwined in the post, I just had to share the latest Dress release the Debutante. Myllie Writer has done incredible work on this dress, the ruching on the fabric running down the body is just,well it just looks damn hard to do :P, and the bottom detailing on the prim attachment is just divine as well.When I was sent the dress in a beautiful array of colours, from the name I expected a gown, you know full and probably white. But then soon came to realise that this dress is designed for the whole debutante thng , not just for that one coming out event , but for one of the many social events occuring through deb season.
I know that is a huge thing in the UK and if I was there I would so have wanted to Debut back when I was that age, not so sure about other countries, here its just that one event and the big scary white gown, oh wait my debut age was mid 80’s never mind lol.
The stunning Jewelry set in this pic and the next is the Nocturne set by Trixie’s Treasure creator Trixie Bumbo. Another inspired set, that this time was released due to a Material Squirrel release a while back, that was so gorgeous it made Trixie want to design something to compliment the beauty. I love how often that happens in Phils Place, if it’s not someone its something.
The hair is ww*hair-001A:D a shorter style this time from White Well and don’t forget 10L each. Again incredible Make-Up in the *AD* Timeless Couture-Vanity 4 , smoldering red lips and those incredible Smokey red eyes, just divine.
Last up for the dresses is the Wine version of the Debutante from Persona, I rich pink colour that just compliments the youth and energy that all good Debs are supposed to posses, *wonders if Good Debutantes is an oxymoron* lol I am only basing that on Reality T.V so just teasing :P. Again with the concept of coming out , and showcasing your beauty for all to see, you would want to stand out from the crowd for sure, and the Timeless Couture-Vanity 3 would be a definite way of doing so, as would all the Vanity Make-Ups.This dress is so stunning though, whether coming out for the first time or hopping from event to event, this dress for its incredible texturing and beautiful colours will get you noticed, and isn’t that exactly what you want from a cocktail dress, and did I mention system skirt love, because it has that toooo.
The shoes worn throughout this whole post, whether seen or not, are the scrumptious Frenzy Banana Heels by Maitreya. I was and still am so in love with the first version of the Frenzy heels, but now with the Banana heel version it is hard to not want to wear one of each. I adore the curve of the heel, hence where the name comes from, and the wooden soles in various shades that compliment the colour of the shoe itself is wonderful.
But for me the biggest love aside from the detail and stitching, is that incredible old leather look. You just have to look at these and know exactly how they would feel, this is stroke worthy footwear. For some people its the smell of leather they love, but for me an incredible thick piece of leather that has been scratched in places and gone through many different hands before it reaches the cobbler is for me what its all about, and this is that in a nutshell.
I pray that when winter rolls around for the rest of you – sits here at 4.20am freezing – that Onyx and Beau will take pity on my blue fingers and make some boots in this exact same leather, and even though by then I will be gasping from the heat, I will be over the moon.

More than Dance panties now
I started Scarborough Flair with a post on Kit Maitland of CKS Designs, so it seemed perfect to start off over here at WP with her latest release – mind you, you couldn’t have stopped me as soon as I saw the notice I was over there like a shot. I have been working on setting up over here for the last month or so, I just haven’t had the time to finish preparing the blog how I wanted it until now.
It’s taken many hours to do all the slurls and links on the sidebar, I wanted it to be a bit more category focused, especially with the links in hoping that if someone was looking for something in particular it would help, also with the slurls I had been adding to there for ages, and its really a slow process to continue adding to the same locations every post lol, so hopefully having it in page format means you only have to flip the page and tp, YAY.
Anyway , any one that has heard me discuss dancing in my underwear, knows that it’s usually a discussion that centres around CKS Designs and the original Gidget set. Gidget was released last year in October and Kit and I swapped stories a few times about running around the grid in them, Kit though is a tad more daring than I am in that regard, but once I worked out that wearing both layers of top and bottoms you could easily do so – the original sets are slightly sheer – I was off and running. There is something about ruffle bum panties that is just so many things, they can be extremely innocent or hell sexy and now with the NEW Gidget X set, well SEXY is the word – is the word is the word *tries hard not to do a Grease medley.
Definitely in keeping with her recent Domina release, these strike up such Dominatrix visions that I couldn’t resist tp’ing over to the first store I found that showed riding crop in “All” – I don’t use all that much in search, but knowing in advance the kinds of prices items have in a store in advance can help when its only a prop. But gleeful me found one in the first store I went to that ironically had a Rose head so it was a definite yes for me, lol.
It is the Black Rose Whip from Divine Discipline – runs next door to add to slurls page, woot I love this-. It has a drop down menu with all these handy features, which if that is your thing then you should definitely check them out.
My favourite parts to the Gidget X set of course are the top and panties, but the new features of this set are the wonderful gloves and those fantastic strappy suspenders with the matching effect in the back of the top, I love those , so cute and so effective. The skin I am wearing is the Redgrave Venus Pale skin with Peach Make-Up, incredibly striking but not too overpowering.
The hair is the beautiful Elena style from Here Comes Trouble, I have been wearing this for two days now I just love the way the bangs are style for this ponytail, making it incredibly striking. The boots are the wonderful Thetis ankle boots from Dark Eden, a shorter style but as dramatic as all of the wonderful items at Dark Eden.
