The Girl Next Door, The Model and The Pin Up
Wowza, you know how I say when I have a huge post in store for you, well this would be one of those times. Recently SODA creator Charlotte Morellet released some NEW Skins, tieing this in with the brand new Soigne sim she shares with Second Wave Apparel designer Sioxie Legend.Because building a new sim isn’t enough of a challenge she had to do new skins as well lol.
The NEW skin line is called Persona which I have to admit got me all excited thinking there was a collab with Persona lol, but not the case, it is more to do with as I always say about Soda skins, they have character all their own, and this new line is no exception. The skins come with three styles, Girl Next Door, Model and Pin Up… with more to be added in the future.
Wanting to show the style of each skin I went a bit crazy and took as many pics as I could, of looks unique to each, and when I eventually ran out of steam I stopped lol. So here goes.
This isa Girl Next Door look wearing the Natural Gloss Make Up, the make ups and the overall face detailing is wonderful on the SODA Persona skins. The light smattering of freckles has won me over totally. The mouth is scrumptious and the eyes are just beautiful, overall body features are definitely worth getting DEMOS and getting naked for – at home :P.
I recently hit up the Ornamental Life sale, so there is going to be a lot of Ornamental Life in this post. The first item is the Proteus Machine top in forget me not blue, seriously Shir has a thing for names, you really have to read the vendors to know what I mean, nothing is just a name, it’s more of an experience.
I will have known Shir for one year exactly this coming christmas day, and what a year it has been for her. I met her at Addictive and Whimsy and her and I danced the day away to 80’s music, was a great way to spend the day – ttechnically my boxing day. She has gone from blogger to designer in leaps and bounds and I knew from the first item I got a sneak peak at, that she was going to do great things. Also being very choosey about what she wears herself she wouldn’t be happy unless items she created weren’t perfect.
The top is just great for bumming around in, I have actually worn this in the blue, and the red I also got; with these jeans probably three times already. My favoutire feature is the back ,and I only gave you a tease in this post, so you will have to go and see for yourself. The jeans are from Dutch Touch and are the low waist jeans in light denim, very nice hip huggers.
The shoes I have pulled out because they rock and because I havent worn them for an eon, they are from The HUB, and are the Venus sandals. such cute sandals and as it is my summer now perfect shoes for me. The hair you have seen before, it is Connect by Magika , so cute with the braids and the pulled back bangs, so many people are scared of no bangs hair, don’t know why , as so many of my favourite styles are that way.
Eeeks at how much I have written already, and we are only at pic one, you are so lucky I bold and colour for skimming ease :P.
Instant love, and not just for the gorgeous SODA Persona Girl Next Door-Lilac – Nude skin – how pretty is that eyeshadow. I have often mentioned my Mums wardrobe from when I was little, this dress would have so been in it, and I would still be crying that it’s all gone. This is Barefoot Asian by SN@TCH , a floor length patchwork halter, there is so much to adore in this dress, the colours the prints in the patchwork, it all works splendidly.
Keeping in theme with the patchwork I went with the Button hair from Magika, so cute with the buttons clip on the side. This is totally a Christmas time dress down here, so flowy and beautiful, perfect for any occasion that will have you spending time outdoors, just don’t forget to Slip, Slop, Slap.
Ok I am so cute today lol. I have had this set for yonks, and I don’t think I have ever shown it before, what a waste. This is the Retro set from Dernier Cri, as soon as I saw the gorgeous SODA Persona Girl Next Door Spring Petal make up I had to do a green search. This skin is delish, the eye make up just compliments those of us that wear green eyes perfectly – yes I saw wear because in RL mine are so dark brown they look black. I kid you not, I once went to a alternative expo and had one of those read your eyes things done, they couldn’t get a clear pic of mine without shining a huge light in them to take one, I couldnt see for a few minutes ABUSE I TELL YOU!.
The set consists of the really pretty top and capri pants edged in the same fabric as the shirt, I got this set back when Dernier Cri was brand spanking new, so no layers on this one, but that may have been changed since. The hair also from Dernier Cri is Clipper , again another pulled back style in one of the wonderful blondes that they have there.
Recently Opium Everyday released some new items as a fundraiser for SHINE. I ran over twice, the first time because I didn’t read the post properly and was early lol, and the second time to grab everything in site. This is the Pax dress in red, there is also blue and white. Beautiful Paisley print on this tube dress with belt. So very late 70’s early 80’s another style thats wonderful for our summer and any occasion that might change from indoors to out and back again.
The Sultry Red Girl Next Door make up is again a great mate for this look, and looky at the beauty mark just under the eye mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmyummy. With the Delilah hair from Wonderhair, such a sweet and innocent looking style this one.
Ryker Beck another blogger turned creative genius, has recently released some beautiful jewelry for her Genesis line, this is the Sprig of Joy necklace and its just lovely. It would make a lovely gift and it’s just that right mix of delicate and pretty to be an every day wear.
Now as I started taking pics at 11pm and its now 5am it did get a bit chilly here, so this is my Girl Next door winter snuggles look. Always looking after me, Dela clothing designer Kuranosuke Kamachi has put together a wool lovers dream with the Katherine Coat and matching Katherine cropped pants – there is also a skirt you can wear.This set with the wool alone would make me deliriously happy, but the addition of the plaid and that it comes in such a wonderful grey just makes me want to tra la la la la through the streets, mind you if I did that in my neighbourhood I would probably get arrested for drunk and disorderly. The Katherine combo could take you from a casual shopping day to a business meeting easily.
The hair is the Jade style from Maitreya , I did have to tint the hat – where is my grey Miss Onyx ? HUH HUH HUH. I have mentioned this to other hair makers in the past too actually , please when you do texture change parts on your hair, if it is mod please include a white for tinting PLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEEEEEE. I should have gone a bit darker on this one as it was cream and not exactly the right kind of grey now Im looking at the pic.

LOL I totally didn’t do this on purpose, I didn’t take the pics in this sequence so it’s funny how it worked out that this one was next on my tab to copy paste. I didn’t even realise I matched up Dela and Maitreya together twice.
The SODA Persona Model Skins are a bit more pouty and definitely more dramatic. The smokey and sophisticated look of the lips and eyes are just riveting, you can see why they are named Model, as for pic taking and overall striking looks, these are that.
The coat again by Dela is the Emma coat, more recent in the release and this time more exposure in the open coat look. I admit to wanting to wear nothing underneath lol, who wouldn’t when the skin is so divine to look at, but I went with the Tshirt Tank from LaLa FooFoo in ash – a fancy name for grey 😛 – just to mix it up a bit.
Hopping over to Cachet to get some new pants, I arrived bald – I truly start out not caring about that when in the middle of a shoot lol, but then I chicken out when I see dots everywhere -, the pants are also a lovely wool blend and are the new Wool Pants in grey , I am very glad these come in an underpants layer, my Wednesday pants don’t which is why I am not wearing them in this pic lol.
They fit snug and tight inside the NEW Nomad boots from TRUTH , these boots are wonderful, they have the look of being much higher and then rolled over, with fantastic button detailing on them, wear them with dress pants like this or your favourite jeans, a must have for whatever season it is.
The hair I am wearing is Aimee from Maitreya, at one stage this was a freebie style, well I should say it became one lol, but I am not sure if it still is, so if you don’t have it already well worth going to find out.
Most models always have big bags, and I don’t think they get much bigger than this one. This is the Love Junky bag Earth also from Cachet, as soon as I saw it I had to have it. on a previous visit, it comes with two in the folder, one with an AO for holding and one without, in the pic Im not using the AO version.Going with the earth theme I opted for the Soda:: Persona Skins – The Model – Sand – Intense – Aurora that is one long name, but such pretty make up, a really nice terracotta look in the eyes and soft pinkish lips. The hair is Milla from Novocaine and is the exclusive style only sold at LE.LOOK ‘s new sim, I swear if you are on a budget right now only open one eye at that sim, Newdoll and I shopped up a storm the other night.
Ok bloggers fate kicked in on this one , because I paid no attention at all to the name of the hair when wearing it with this outfit and the fact that Milla Michinaga is the designer of the Pippa set is pure fate, people don’t believe me when I tell them of bloggers fate but its a real thing, I promise.
Milla’s Blogger Fate was to become a designer, wow we are full of talented ex-bloggers today, see that wasnt even planned either lol. Pippa was as are all of my MichaMi sets one of those dropdowns I get when I am supposed to be doing something else, and I can’t help but run over.
You can always tell a blogger/designer by how many layers are in a set, I swear they come up with combo’s no one has heard of. Between Shir and Milla I think my inventory went up by 10K and thats just two outfits lmao just kidding, I love it especially when certain people wear the folder in public, and end up with everything on the top and nothing on the bottom *giggles coz she knows who she is.
Pippa is a wonderful mix and match set, and Milla has done all the mixing and matching for you, if you haven’t got any MichaMi sets yet , go forth and conquer.
Models never know exactly what they are shooting from day to day, it can be so many different looks and genres, so I decided to spice it up when I put on the Vamp make up in The Model Persona Skin by SODA. I won a prize at the recent Bare Rose appreciation party hosted by Winter Jefferson, it was a trivia question and I can’t remember what it was now 🙁 . But anyway I decided to purchase with my prize money and cammed to the left into the store and came across the Doctress set , one I hadn’t seen before.Instant drooling and it was mine, don’t you just love cam controls. This set is all sorts of sexy and sort of scary at the same time with those tools of the trade attached to the belt. Mind you I would be more worried about someone using the scissors and scalpel to slice the straps holding the whole thing together than anything else. Latex and PVC this set has it all, and incredibly done as usual.
The set does have its own hat but it was time to show the hair that caused me to scream at Ashia Tomsen like a banshee in Red Queen earlier this week. When I blogged that I had no Q hair , Winter sent me a LM to this store, it took a while for me to get there, but I dragged Newdoll over and we both had a hairgasm. Technically its R hair but seeing as I didn’t know of it before then I don’t care, it has amazing styles and this is Fire with hat, very Domme looking and sooo delish. Only to find out Ashia already knew of and had blogged the store when I was unable to load browser a few weeks back, she had tried to tell me but only told me that after I screeched in open chat voice for ten minutes lol.
Lastly in The Model skins pics – and no I have not shown all the make ups of each there are so many more. Soda:: Persona Skins – The Model – Sand – Smokey – Red is a stunning make up and equally stunning is the Carmela set from MichaMi, very refined and stylish is this set, it comes with two completely different colour combos but I went with the all black this time round.
Showing that you can wear the cardi with or without for the bustier look, I have adorned myself with the Casablanca set from Essentia in silver, made for me because I was sad this set always makes me happy ♥. Another thing that makes me happy is the NEW Courtisane Store, a collab between Leezu Baxter and my much loved Enktan Gully of Enkythings, I am so overjoyed about this collab.
The Courtisane range is just beautiful and as soon as I saw the Hors d’haleine I was in love. Open toed ankle boots are too many degrees of awesome. The ruched leather with the eyelets and the ankle gathered and buckled attachment makes these just sexy as all get out.
Quick tip : if you want to show boots that have two attachments and you dont want your own feet or legs in the pic, go Invisi Prim, there might be one in library inventory or just ask someone for one, and make it big enough to cover your body and wear it, then anything texture based on your person will vanish and you will get a great shot of your shoes, or jewelry or whatever lol.
Another must have is the NEW Grazia style from Philotic Energy , I have cheated you all by not showing this style properly, you really need to see it on, the style is Grace Kelly regal, it’s superb.
Ok time for The Pinup.
I had to get the fat pack of this lingerie set, again from Ornamental Life the Remember Chloe set is just gorgeous. Stunning Corsetry in beautiful and rich colours. and believe me LAYERS up the whazoo. I will totally be wearing these corsets as outerwear when I get the oppurtunity, they are too beautiful to keep hidden. Mind you if you get dressed in front of your special someone in this set , you might never get out of the house.
I am wearing two of The Pin Up make ups in this pic the first is Soda:: Persona Skins – The Pinup – Grey – Pomegranate and the second I don’t know because I got so excited to put the next one on, I forgot to copy paste the first 🙁 sorry. When thinking Pin Up it was a no brainer with the hair , this first style is Lamour from Ingenue , a beautiful vintage style.
Pin Ups also wore swimwea, so the Kiwi Kawa swimsuit from Ornamental Life is the next fantastic creation from Shir Dryke. It’s a vintagey looking full piece that pretends its a two piece, or is that the other way around ?. Regardless if you were trying to negotiate being allowed to wear a kini with someone insisting you could only wear a one piece this is the way to do it lol.
A great blend of retro swirls in this look, and the non thong but barely covering my bum bottoms is too cute. I am wearing the V Pin Curls style hair from Old Gravy, a really old style this one it even comes in two parts for extra hair extensions.
Soda:: Persona Skins – The Pinup – Grey – Gloss is sultry and a tease of more to come, with the overly made up non make up look being done to perfection. These were the days when women seemed to wake up with perfect make up done, or so their husbands thought lol.
Ooo la la , again with the vintage look in this bra and panties combo also from Ornamental Life. Lyre And The Muse – Sound Of Winter see that Shir cant just call something plum, I love it, and any designer will tell you naming things is hard work. The panties in this set are so feminine with the lace panel with the sheer sides, the more time I spend in these sets the more I want to run around in my undies forever. Sends a HUALUAKU to Mel ♥.
This skin is the ::Soda:: Persona Skins – The Pinup – Smokey Light – Petal, such soft make up but with such an impact. Also full of impact and my first Old Gravy purchase is the DarkChyld hair, back in the day when Old Gravy didnt do demos – yes its true – this was my first buy and once I had it on the rest were all bought within seconds as it fit so well lol.
Lastly and yes I know I ramble, but one more had to be shown. This is the Speak To Me Of Summer – Thief Of Your Heart set, by Ornamental Life, this is one hell of a bikini, the full panties look again at the front with the right amount of non covering to show off the fantastic bum shading of the SODA Persona – The Pinup – Smokey – Red skin. This swimsuit is pure Pin UP, not for swimming but for walking up and down the side of some ritzy hotel pool in your vintage mule heels, oh rats I so should have worn the Nana Heels from Enkythings for this shot.
The fabric pattern is wonderful and the work done to get that netted look on the top and bottom would have taken hours to achieve. Again I could totally see myself wearing that top as a top. The hair is dayna v1 by Artilleri another fabulous vintage hair style and so many wonderful styles to choose from at Artilleri.

Reveille
Reveille seemed a perfect name for this post, as when I woke up the first thing I thought about what the trip I took to Panjen a few days ago with Newdoll so she could check out the wonderful lashes there. No lashes in this post, but the longer we stood there chatting a few other things popped out from the walls at me.
I have said on numerous occasions that I really like the older Military look, you know brass buttons and all that good stuff, well even though this post isnt going to have the brass buttons – I ran out of time on that pic, and there is one so look for it too – there are two other coats I got at the same time I just was dieing to share.
This first one is just gorgeous. More of an equestrian look if you want it to be , but like I said I ran out of time, and wanted to share rather than store the pics until I could finish. The Suede Jacket from PanJen is a wonderful rich chocolate brown, with lots of fantastic detailing, from the collar and lapels to the delightful buttoning on either side, I would wear this happily all season.
It’s matched up with some Brown Suede Pants from Celestial Studios but I have tinted them to be a tad darker for the coat. I was very happy that two other goodies I wanted to share also come in chocolate.
The first is the Canimal Boneyard Voodoo Hat, I have it set to pinstripe but there is a menu when you click on the hat giving you the ability to choose from a great assortment of textures in that same colour. Great fun for a goth lolita look , or just to spice up a more tailored style like this one. Whats cute about the hat, for me anyway, is that Canimal on her recent trip had been talking a lot about sweets/cakes etc, and to me the chocolate with the pinstripe makes it look like an incredibly rich paper wrapped brownie cupcake, with candy skulls – you know it does :P.
The other item is the fantastic NEW High Oxfords by Tesla, these make me happy, very happy. You have seen me rave in the past about her Diva heels, and those are just adorable , but these are to me the total Must Have, often I wear boot bottoms as shoes with pants that have prim cuffs, these being only one attachment let you have that very stylish look without having to compromise. Plus I have always been a huge fan of this older style look with a new slant as Tesla does so well. These would also look fantastic with a dress and some fab socks or stockings.
I got to meet up with Ashia Tomsen of FreeStyle the other day for a project I am working on, and she had on this divine hair, always willing to share her finds she let me know it was from House of Munster, a store that has only 4 styles at the moment but they are all fun and lively.
The hair is called Vira, and the way it’s sold is in packs but with a menu script for not only resizing but also texture change, so you wont be filling your inventory with extra items, just one wig you can click to choose the colour you prefer at the time. The more I wear this hair, I have to say the more it reminds me of David Bowie in Labyrynth, so I am suggesting to all you stylin Men to go and try on the demo as well.
This is Military Jacket again by PanJen, there are two – remember brass buttons 🙂 – This one was actually a jacket that kept on giving, sometimes its a certain feature that jumps out at you and you miss others, such was the case with this one. I had already purchased it and was wearing it when on rezzing it I saw the wonderful embroidered detailing on the waist and the cuffs, seriously I had to relook at the vendor because I had totally missed that lol.
I haven’t and rarely mention the prices of things in my posts, but let me just say that the prices on these two coats will make you very happy indeed. So with the extra and very pretty extra embelishment it was a total win. I am wearing the Grey Dress Slacks from First Impressions Monochrome pack – another bargain. All the Dress Slacks at First Impressions are wonderful as well as all the other seperates.
The shoes are the Starley Pumps from ETD , I got so excited when these were released and grabbed the ginormous pack, and am so glad I did because a lot of times the colours in there have totally worked with outfits, and at the moment with the big SALE on it’s a great idea to get them if you don’t already have.
This hair is another I got at Hiccup the other day, the first actually, it is called Alala – something about that name just makes you want to love it, and I do. A great style also for all the big coats with high collars out and about at the moment.
The skins I am wearing today are both from La Sylphide. The Erin skin is just beautiful, I find myself wearing it often just for the character of the face, it doesn’t take from your own shape just enhances it superbly. It has a fresh youthful and healthy quality to it, you need to try on the demos and see for yourself, also tackle the lucky chair there.

What kind of Pette are you?
What kind of Pette are you? well I am hoping that doesn’t really mean something as it was the only title I could think of to play on words.
Salopette is a recent release from Dutch Touch, as are all the items about to be shown. This set mixes some wonderful things together, overall style dress/romper with a divine wool blend plaid. There is something about plaid that always feels cosy. The skirt to this outfit is actually sculpted and easily resized – pretty much if I can do it you can, just remember to click on stretch both sides so you get even stretch, and also hold down shift as you do, keeping it a little more steady.
This great look comes in lovely colours, some earthy tones and some playful ones, such as the pink. The Salopette can be worn with or without the black top that is worn underneath, and the stockings and suspenders are part of the ensemble, very cheeky indeed. I have worn them with the J’s Goth Lace up Bow boots , a great design that has so many options that you end up with four boot looks from one set.
With all the clothing today I am also wearing the NEW London skins from MMSkins by Minnu Palen, the London was teasing everyone, and with many many requests to have it in further beautiful make ups it has finally been released. I really like the four soft tones in Fair, Pale, Light and Sunkissed. Also the make ups are subtle in some cases and more daring in others, the return of the much loved glossy lips with this release has me very happy.
One thing about this skin though is it is very shape orientated, the stomach has muscled detailing for that fit look, not too heavy but definitely there, so make sure you try on the demos in your favourite bikini/lingerie.
The hair today is also all from MMS, the first style was released during hair fair and is the Aradia style, named after Aradia Dielli , the straight across bangs and straight long length of this style makes it either casual or very effective with a more dramatic look.
This is Esther, one of the NEW Releases from Dutch Touch. Three things to adore with this set, first off the jeans, look at those back pockets, I mean HELLOOOOO, they are just too cute, and I particularly like the waistband of these jeans, very well structured. The other two things are the great long shirts with a hint of tummy with the last button being higher than the end. Then lastly the wonderful Knit cami/tanky top, with the lovely buttoned straps, very old school that top is. The Esther set as you can see comes in various colour combo’s. so you can mix and match to your hearts content.
The hair styles are Donatella at the top, a lovely style I can’t help but wear in blonde because of the name, and the Mary Kate that has me in fits, because it is so obvious by the style who it is named after.
More cuteness on the back end comes in the form of the Jeans skirt from the seperates section of the Dutch Touch collection. The shape of the skirt is great and the hearts are just wonderful, but I also really like that worn and frayed look on the hemline, the look that most of your favourite denim eventually gets.
The tops worn with the skirt are also available as seperates, in both sheer and solid options, I am actually wearing both layers of the solid to make sure nothing is visible – yeah yeah Im a pride apparently. It is the short top with long sleeves and its a great mixy matchy option as well , wearing this with your favourite tank underneath would be a great look.
Now look up at my neck for a moment, Faery Sola created the incredible Bone and Silver Engraved choker, bracelet and belt set just recently, I am of course not wearing the belt – which Faery will be stunned by Im sure, but not for not wanting too it just didn’t work with the combo, but I couldn’t go by another day without wearing the chocker, especially after seeing Winter Jefferson wearing the Male Version in the early hours of this morning *waves*. So whether Male or Female get on over to Studio Sidhe the set is just perfect.
The hair I am wearing with this look is Peta from MMS , a stylish do that can easily go cas or formal.
So much so that I have to admit having wished Id saved it for the next pic, but then once I was all dressed I was happy with the choice. The hair is Lisa from MMS the style has soft waves that are created to sit at the back of the shoulders allowing you to show off not only the neckline of the beautiful dress and skin, but to also make the stunning Victoria set by Kess Kreations more visible.
This jewelry is just dazzling and not in the bling way, but purely crafted to add glitz and glamour to your look. Not only do you get the bracelet, necklace and earrings in the set, but in reality so much more when you take into account that each piece is scripted to not only change the metal that frames each gemstone but also a lovely range of gemstones to change, I have chosen pink diamond and emerald.
If you are looking for something special for your loved one this coming holidays, this set deserves a good look, and all items come with demos that are fab fun. The Sunny dress is a great style and the fabric is amazing, depending on what mood you are in, or the occasion there is a colour to suit, whether it be the white which gives more of a frock feel, or the stunning bronze or rosey that are very rich and would make great cocktail dresses with as shown the right kind of accessories.
Some more of the seperates, I know you saw the white long shirt already from the Esther set, but as it is sold seperately here you can see how versatile it can be, whether again worn with jeans – this time a low waist hip hugging style in the light. Then you have the Long Woolen Cardigans with hoodies in grey and dark grey, shown with the shiny leggings and the stripey pants, lastly the short cardigan with hoodie.

Now with all these lovely clothes I have been wearing lovely shoes. I promised the other day that I would show more of the fabulous Coron heels by LUCE.
The textures are fantastic and there are different packs, I decided for the finale to show you one style from each pack, to give you a peak at the possibilities. I know many are going to go WILD for those leopard ones, the silver glitter at the end are just dazzling, and the wood and cork blend of the second pair are fantastic for casual looks, and glossy bubblegum pink, again HELLOOOOO.

Tease Me
I swear if I don’t get the Dear Prudence song out of my head, I might just go mad. But on that note might I suggest you all take a whirl around the newish viewer called Imprudence HERE . It has all sorts of bells and whistles, some fab building changes, and my favourite Offer Teleport Button right in your IM – how much do we all need that YAY.
The maybe bad, maybe good thing about it, is that at the moment it doesn’t have voice options, so if you use voice a lot , then you will need to switch back and forth, if you don’t or you want a reason to not use it – lol – there’s another reason to get it.
Ok so on with todays post. I shop lots and lots, and often I have every intention of blogging an item or the ten or so I purchase in one store, but find that lately those items don’t come out to play as much. The reason for that lately is that I used to put EVERYTHING in my to blog folder, and that can be very overwhelming, some items are still there, but lately I have had to take charge and put them where they are going to live permanently.
Paradisis is in two places because of this and now that todays pics are done, they are finally all in one YAY. I came across one of their satelite stores in one of our regular jump all over the grid days; that Fia and myself do often. I fell for both the edgy looks and the girly girl pieces and bought a few sets, then a few weeks later decided to hunt down the main store – Usually I try and do that straight away, often finding so many more delights than at the satelite, and not buying in them at all but at the main, but trust me those little places do bring in the business.
This is the first item I bought, and can you blame me. This is Doll and it is as pretty as one. Such a soft delightful pink with a beautiful sheer babydoll ruffle and bow. For those girly girls like me, this set would be beneficial, because if you love pink then I see absolutely no reason you couldn’t wear the top as just that, underwear as outerwear is very captivating if done in the right way, plus there are tanks like this in RL and here as regular wear. The shine to the fabric is just lovely and you do get the tiny tiny thong panties and the sheer white stockings with the set.
Yesterday I was in a shopping frenzy with Newdoll, first thing when I get on and I went into hyperdrive, but the best thing was finding new to me places and buying things that I had seen in the past in some and giving them a new look see. One such place was Hiccup, I have to admit that in the past I had not given Hiccup hair the real attention it deserves, because I know I have seen it before, but possibly the hair I purchased yesterday is newer than then.
Regardless of the reasons I am smitten. This first style is Amelieish, the bangs the length and shape, it all works to give a vintage look that I so cherish.
The skin I am wearing is more of the Pulse Blessed range, finally getting through all those incredible make ups. These if you remember are the range that give you the three options of skin look, Beached, Natural and Radiance. Giving you an all over look dependant on your needs at the time. This is the Kiss Me Make Up in the Radiance option with black brows, thats another thing about Blessed is you get all brow colours with the skin choice.
Now with the pants, called Teasing in the bleached black, I do have to admit I was given these as Fia saw them first. I know I didn’t show all the way down, but as the main feature is of course around the somewhat middle, I decided a close up was in order.
Whether you want to show off your undies, or you just want everyone to know you have skin on that offers shaved as an option 😛 then so be it – I am thinking of making these my other skin test pants but I have just the right panties for that one lol.
The Calor top is a little longer than the cropped jacket from Hot Stuff, which means you could always wear it underneath for a little extra covering. I really like the texture in this top, it has a real stretch velvet kind of look to it, which I am assuming would make people just want to cuddle you lots and lots, that and the fact your jeans are already open *gigglefits*.
Ok now this skins name had me confused, it is called Feed Me, I IM’d Lorac the designer behind the Pulse brand and asked her why such a name, once she told me I had to laugh. What it boils down to is this, it’s an ego booster name, based on the idea that when you know you look hot, and you know that others know you look hot, they better damn well tell you, LMAO.
The hair is from House of Heart and is called Callie, the style is wild and full and decorated with intricate weaves of silver thread, this would make a perfect style for the upcoming Holiday Season festiviities, but also a wonderful RP hairdo.
Looky looky prim cuffs 🙂 , I didn’t say Paradisis didn’t do them, just not in the items so far shown. This is Mischievous, I have a thing for overalls and this set tickled that thing. I think this posibly comes in other colours, I am not totally sure but the next one did, so it just might. I do really like the black though, more of a charcoal than black black and the shading again is fantastic.
The great thing about overalls, is that you can usually wear them as seperate pants also, as is the case with this set. Also whether hidden by the bib or out there on its own, you get to show you are by name and nature exactly that, Mischievous. The tank again with a flattering neckline allows the ability to show off another lovely set from Primagine, this time the Silver Curlz set of Jewelry.
The hair in this pic had me in fits at the little Hiccup Boathouse store, it is called Dungeons and Dragons and the vendor pic model had nerdy glasses on and its just such a hoot. It looks like the perfect plain jane at the front with the flipped up sides , but then the back is a great short style, Fia called it the female Mullet, business at the front, party at the back.
The shoes I am wearing -Which I will show in more depth soon – are the Coron Snake A shoes from LUCE . These shoes were the perfect platform height and sivery grey shades for the pants. The textures and combinations of textures in the LUCE Shoes range are very dramatic and beautifully done. As I said I will show these in more detail in the future :).
Pulse Blessed Purrrr is this skin and I wear this one often, I like the softness it has in the make up and the tone is just lovely, I am a big fan of the Pulse lips and the newer releases are stunning, those will be coming soon to the blog also.
Lastly and on a been back a few times since, visits to Paradisis I came across the Mischievous Dressie , that I snapped up in the grey and the black and just a word of warning, this overall dress doesn’t come with a shirt and it doesnt come with panties or even glitch pants that cover up, this style is made in the fabulous Pantie Less way of using the band only of the template and leaving the rest alone, so do not do as I did and wear folder in the store *blushes* the top part I realised first because there was only one, but the pants part I didnt realise until i cammed downstairs and back up and got a shock.
Don’t get me wrong i am a HUGE fan of the Pantieless dress/skirt look, but I love it to be able to wear some of the wonderful underpants we have in our inventories. With the top underneath for this pic, I went with the Lavish Style Poeme top in grey, this is another item that has been around for a while, and its just cute.
Also cute is the recent release hair from BP* BettiePage Voyager is a real sweetheart , during hair fair I got to speak to her a few times and she just exudes joy. So does this hair, Newdoll was talking about a trip to BP* and I asked if she had gotten the Big Bomb Hair – I think everyone needs it – so when I met up with Newdoll the next day she had one this and we had to make it one of our trips so I could get it, one thing I really like with BP* Hair is the bangs, and this style the Autumn Loose Braid is just a mix of my bang love and all the whispy and lose tendrils of hair love.
feeling the need for some socks with this look , I went searching and found the Dark Grey Knit Socks from SySy Designs, these I have had for yonks and they come in a pack of many colours. They remind me of mens business socks but longer and sexier . The MaryJanes called Marie are from Tesla they come in a two tone look and are just gorgeous MaryJanes , the two tone works really well with this blend of monochrome tones.
Blessed Stunned is the last skin to show by Pulse, again divine lips and a really character based face, make sure you try on all the DEMOS.

How Challenging
Ok so the handsome and talented Winter Jefferson started a challenge you can see it HERE , I only found out about it by seeing it on Cajsa’s post, and I was so excited. I had been sorting out my BareRose this morning, finding a few random boxes in objects folder that I had yet to unpack. I was also only telling someone the other day that Fia only comes in world now to shop at BareRose, he opens Whats New and if he see’s B@R stuff he lands in the house and tells me brb, and off he goes in a puff of smoke, often I am lucky enough to get a TP lol.
It’s a weekly thing for us to go there, and sometimes more than once, we worked out a long time ago you have to go that often or the items will end up in the actual store store, and only once a month or so do I venture past the actual New Release section.
I have one pet peeve about BareRose *giggles* nearly every time I take someone there they win the ‘Just for being here’ prize, in nearly three years and over a hundred visits I have won once. I have come to the conclusion that it’s rigged to only give to those that are ‘Just There’, and not those of us that are shopping like crazy lol.
I didn’t find BareRose until a few months in world, but then I started working my second day so didn’t get out as much as I should have – don’t do that if you are new, spend a month at least just taking it all in.
I realised as soon as I decided to take up the challenge thrown down by Winter that I was going to find it very difficult choosing what to show, one thing about my inventory is that its all alphabetical, often I will ask friends to pick a letter and thats what I will go to for clothes, hair and shoes, it’s fun a bit whacky but its in order.
So I looked at my BareRose folder, that while open fits my whole screen and noticed that I have one of almost every letter, the strangest thing is that I don’t have an x, y or z, but even funnier is that I don’t have xyz in hair either.
I’m probably losing you on that. It goes Body Parts> Hair > Letter > Store Name > items, same with clothes, skins and shoes.
So I thought that what I would do is one item from each letter of BareRose with the same letter in a Hair Store.
So as much as I will want to talk on and on about every outfit I am going to try and not too much, that’s also because ive been on since ten last night and it’s now 7 tonight and I am starting to see triple.
I couldn’t start without the start, these are the first three items I ever bought from BareRose. I loved them so much then, and I still adore them today. I used to run around in Harajuku Pank all the time, it’s just such a fun outfit. Commando was dead sexy and also has pants that are longer , but I was fixated with my bum back then thanks to the Passport skin by CS . Shy Vixen I thought was very dark and goth like and for the time I guess it was, I really liked the knit effect of the fabric, but didn’t actually wear it much after the first purchase of it.
Being nostalgic and against the whole letter thing, this pic wasnt part of that, but the hair is all Gurl 6 and all purchased around the same day I bought these three outfits, and I loved them so much then and still do now.
Ok really not loving this WP thing argh, so anyway this next pic is the start of my alphabet. One thing about BareRose is that her method has always been to allow people on a budget the ability to still shop, this has always been something I admire and something that also Dark Eden has always given June credit for doing and has always wanted to try and keep along that same path.
This pic is A is for Alicia a stunning suit combination that gives you a few colours to choose from, I went with the pink because who doesn’t want a pink pinstripe suit like this one, and ooo la la look at what you get underneath. The hair is from Aden and I did have all of the styles names written down ,but my pc locked up and none of that text doc was saved, thank goodness all my pics were.
B is For Basilisk, it has open laced sides, chains and feathers, is there any need to explain the love, one thing I will admit to is having a die hard addiction to June’s Latex and Leather, if she only made that for a month I would be in heaven. The wild and fab hair is from bOON.
I am so cheating in this pic, I will explain in a sec.
C is for Cross Bones Lady , that tshirt always reminds me of a hershey bar wrapper, and clothing made to remind me of chocolate wins. The coats and colours of coats in this set are just stunning, superb leather work and I think the pants and belt are wonderful too. Hair is by Curio. I do know the names to at least 98% of the hair shown , I just feel bad if I get one of the 2% wrong, and I had to log out because seriously strange things are happening in world right now.
Now about the cheating, some of you know I used to blog on Appearance Mode a million years ago, well this challenge gave me a chance to revisit those posts, and wow there were a lot on BareRose, so I took the pics from there and put them on my flickr, it’s amazing to see the difference nearly two years can make to your posts, I still talk as much then as I do now :P.
So anyway in some ways I am redoing some older posts with this one, you can see old ones on there if you are curious. One particular item I was so hot for, and that was the Decadence set.
D is for Decadence, but in this case D is also for Decadence Maia, you see many many moons after the first June released a second set, she used to do that often, and the second was incredible because of the amazing bright colours, the yellow is amazing. She did change it a bit too, the original had a more open front jacket with a prim tie, but the second and that sweeping open neckline is just awesome. The hair is Deviant Kitties.
E is for Envy, this cute parka pack – theres that word again – comes in a few colours with denim capris, simple and fun to play around with, I am a fan of the toggle buttons on the ties of the hoodie, its that attention to detail that makes us all wow at Junes talent.
F is for Fantasy, I wore this so much when it was released, its a stunning style and the colours and prim work are exceptional, incredibly stylish and who can resist high waisted pants, this was definitely the sign of more high fashion items to come from BareRose. The Hair is from FFS.
G is for Gabrielle, again a stylish combination suitable for the business minded, the texturing on the skirt and jacket is wonderful and the way that June has managed to make a long tight look skirt with prims and pants is just remarkable, she is always pushing the envelope.The hair is from Gritty Kitty – confesses that thats one of the 2% I don’t know the name of off by heart.
H is for Hell Fire Lady, again incredible coat work with graffitied pants giving a very urban edgy look to the combination, complete with bandage wraps for the arms and thighs. You will notice too that many of the sets have incredible accessories, Jewerly and other items, and this is where I have to disagree with Winter on the transfer love :P. The hair is from HCT.
I do adore being able to run to BareRose and grabbing something I know someone likes, or I want them to see, and at the price if they don’t like it once I give it I don’t mind, but there are so many incredible pieces that come with sets from there, that I wish there was a no xfer option, but in BareRose doubling all those prims would be horrific, I don’t want to break up sets, but I know I would love to make use of all the pieces by having them in different places in my inventory, I’d also love to be able to make copies to keep safe.
I is for It’s Only a Paper Moon, I have no idea where the inspiration for this outfit came from, but it truly is incredible, the texture , the prims and the adorable lily and hat attachments, this gown is art. The hair is from Ingenue.
J is for Judy Tweedly, everyone has to love tweed, I saw that written in some really thick book once, so you know it’s got to be true :P. This combo comes with either the flared flexi jacket bottom or a tighter fit with the system skirt, Junes ability to shade a system skirt has me in all sorts of rapture. This is a definite need for this seasons cooler climate. The hair is from Junwave.
K is for Kaguya , When this set was released I couldn’t blog it,Torie knows why and thats cool, but now I have the chance to do so, this is a style that June has redone recently but this is still such incredible work and just made my jaw hit the floor when I saw it. It actually does come with its own hair also, but this hair is from KUROTSUBAKI.
L is for Leo Lady, when this series first started Fia and I were so worried that she would only do one per month when it was that zodiacs turn, thank heavens she didn’t or I would still be waiting for my starsign. The whole concept of these is incredible, and the detailing is divine, the claws do scare me I have to admit but everything about it is just Queen of the Jungle like. The hair is from Lagroki.

M is for Mystic Lady, this is again a time to point out that many many sets at Bare Rose have incredible seperate pieces, and often you can search all over the grid for something that you would find in a set at BareRose, I know from years of seeing people ask for things that capes and cloaks are often much desired items. The ones in this set are fantastic, and yes ONES there are at least three from memory. The chainmalle loincloth armor is so damn sexy.
This is the kind of set that when you put it on you wished you roleplayed – ok maybe YOU don’t but I do. The hair is from Maitreya.
N is for Night Gazer, again the latex leather love comes shining out. this set makes me happy that my Vista AO has a crouch walk that does back flips, because thats the kind of moves you want to do in such a high action set like this one. Definitely a second skin it even made my bum perky. The hair is from Novocaine.
O is for Open my Black Heart, this is another older set I have blogged many moons ago, and the chance to revisit it thanks to Winter made me happy, the cute latex love mixed in with a night out on oxford street look that is unbeatable. Think the skirt is hot look at those pants, yes sculpted shorts that are just HOT HOT HOT, and you really can’t beat that hat. The hair is from Old Gravy.
P is for Pirate Princess, once a long time ago I used to have half a pirate ship in my living room, yes it was a pirate household, when this set came out with also the Pirate Queen version I was so overjoyed to have something so incredibly made that was also exactly what I imagine a female pirate would want to wear. The hair is from Philotic Energy.
Q is for Queen V,I have to admit this is the only set I don’t really get the name of. It’s an older style and really cute for just chillaxin, but again don’t really get the Queen part. The hair is from 69 oh I forgot Q was the other letter no hair stores for, so if you know any let me know, and if there arent any and you plan on making hair soon, then definitely consider starting the name with Q, X, Y or Z because myself and Whimsy both don’t have any with those letters – just realised she should look on the savoir hair blog before she makes such broad statements.
R is for Ran, this dress is just beautiful, simple and extremely elegant, system skirt loving all over the place , but if thats not your thing then totally consider the top with pants. The hair is from Ravenwear.
S is for Sentry Lady White, there is a dark sentry lady version that came out later. This was also a much loved favourite that I wore often before working in clothing stores. It has three different combos and I thought it was just too cool, I still do, but I clearly remember tping to a friend once way back when, and them just being in awe of such an item, that day they became BareRose fans too. The hair is from Shop Seu.
T is for The song of an island , another item I have shown in the past and last time I was with Jaydie and the lovely Manager of BareRose Tori ♥ , she is an incredible lady who I enjoy talking to often, she loves me for my chimera, and I love her for her. This set also comes with the shoes shown I mean WOW and that banjo WOW again. This is definitely one of those pieces sets, even the goggles are adorable. The hair is from Tekili Li.
Last one because I crashed at W and I have blogged it before lol.
U is for Ukifune, again a wilde and sexy combo in a huge array of colours in the set, what I really like about this one is that June has made the system skirt appear sheer at the ends to blend in with the sheer in the prims. This is very Xanadu/Amazon like looking to me, and thats all I need to make me whirl around all Wonder Woman like – thank you Jim and Kit for that gesture ♥. The hair is from UA.
V is for Vampire Fish, did you even know there was such a thing, this outfit is blood heating sexy and we know the Vampires like hot blood lol. A Few different options in this set, not only with either pants or skirt prim, but also the way the tops have been done, the one on the right is a bit revealing through the netting, so you will have to get your own :P. The hair is from Vixen.
That is my partial ode to Bare Rose, I personally show my love for Junes creations regularly as do many , and I wish that Fia had been able to get in world to take some pics too, but he starred in his own BareRose movie some time ago , so he is off the hook, if you haven’t seen that it’s HERE.
I want to thank Winter very much for this challenge, as sometimes blogging takes on a different kind of tangent; and it’s nice to step back and just appreciate why we do it in the first place. So thank you Winter Jefferson you made my day.
About those skins, I know you were getting all excited while I changed make ups and such, they are the NEW Anael skins from Bebae, and the other lovely Torie has moved to a new Main Store right next door to Nyla Cheeky of House of Nyla, I am planning on sitting right between both one day and having a singalong , Nyla will love that :p.
The tones are just lovely , and right now if you join the Bebae group there is a special Winter skin – hee hee Winter is everywhere – that is just beautiful and I am wearing that one in C is for…you can get it out of the archives and use it as a great demo to see the incredible shading on the body, I mean don’t look at my chest look at your own but you can soooo see what I mean, divine.
The Make Ups are ranging from simple to dramatic and there will be more in the future I’m sure, the new store looks fab and you really need to check it out, along with all the DEMO DEMO DEMO’s.

These Boots are made for Lovin
This is another marathon post, and so worth the time it took to do, in between all the other things I do in a day it astounds me that its already nearly 11am so that’s 12 hours gone wooosh, since I logged in.
All fun to put together though, todays post is about two things mainly, boots and skin. The boots are the latest releases by Enkythings, and the Cypa boots are Enktans first sculpted boots and you have to have to check out the DEMOS as soon as possible, and then buy them all lol. I have always loved his Pinson and Cupo boots that are prim work as they were the first boots I ever had that were streamlined to the shape of the leg.
The Cypa has that same beautiful shape and the leather work is marvelous, not just plain leather boots these ones, no that would be too easy for Enktan, he has this habit of liking to release a multitude of colours in every release and he topped that with these. Each boot has incredible texture work to the calf of the boot topped and bottomed with leather in tan brown or black.
For the first look I am wearing the brown version in Snake, which are just lovely. Wearing with them the Brown Cords from Celestial Studios – yes I know you have seen them lots of times before and will again in a moment in another colour lol. The Essential Wrap Sweater in Choc from CKS and the divine and easily tintable Helena waist sash from Persona – I love those. Tinting the sash the same colour as the boots leather ties in the whole outfit.
Another piece of leather love today is the New Paddo bag by TRUTH, now in Australia we don’t have that many traditions, well we have a lot but usually they involve hangovers – Aussie’s don’t take offence you know its true. But one thing we do have is incredible Markets, and one tradition for a Saturday in Sydney, especially if you are from the East is Paddo Markets.
This bag totally depicts that whole thing for me, whether the bag was bought from one of the ever so talented designers – many big names started out at Paddo – or whether its the one you take with you when you go, because you know you are going to need lots of room for buying fabulous things. This Paddo bag has the size and the style down pat.
It also comes in many beautiful colours of leather- this being the Camel – and the texture work on the sides with the zipper and the discreet TRUTH logo are just wonderful. It comes with either hand hold or shoulder animations, so you are set either way.
Another set that would be in total keeping with the beautiful items you can buy at our markets would be the Tiger’s Eye Gold Jewelry set from Essentia, this was made by request of the Lovely Jaydie because she couldn’t find any at the time. The Hair also from TRUTH is the NEW Caitlin style in Chocolate, I am a Brownzilla in the making today, Mel would be proud.
The next Brown foray is in the form of the Cypa boots in Brown Swirls, giving a lighter look. Celestial Studios Stone Cords this time, I can’t help it they really are yummy pants, you are lucky I didn’t go with the Choc Suede pants too 😛 – get those as well when you are there.
The shirt I have on is from the Sonya set at AnnaH, a really cute shirt that is usually worn with a leapard print coat but on its own it has that kind of safari – omgosh I just got the connection – ok safari shirt and leopard coat umah thats naughty *grins*, it’s adorable actually and no orange leopards were harmed in the making.
Ooo that reminds me , I am using the New Dela poses in this post BUT , one or two of them are from the fantastic Le Boudoir Mode d’Ambre – Look at my Shoes set, the one in the middle of this pic is for sure, so check those out they are really cool, ok just looked up slurl and It is in my always thankful for section , but I’m getting invalid location, but Ambre Jun is the creator so tackle her for the place to see the poses.
The hair I am wearing is from Magika and is one of the recent releases from there called Nameless – the speed that those two girls create hair I’d run out of names too. How much are you loving these boots.
If brown isn’t your thing, lets go to the Cypa black Peonia shall we. I have been wearing the black as much as possible this past week, they are a delight and the ability to wear with just about anything rocks my world. In this case I went with an absolutely delightful dress again from AnnaH called Camila.
The gathered silk look of the bodice and then carried over to the incredible ballon skirt style dress bottom, this is such a sweet babydoll style dress, perfect for a night out or even a formal do, with the boots though it just adds to the fun of the style. What also adds fun is the bows at the back, those were a treat I didn’t realise were there until I turned and YAY how cute are they, I want this in a bazillion colours and I think there are only three, so I suggest getting those three and begging with me for more lol.
The Shamanic Necklace is by Uzuri, a great design and it comes in another colour too, but I went with the Monochrome for this look , so many wonderful and unusual designs at Uzuri that I have yet to show, but will very soon, but go look and beat me to it.
The hair is the Lucy hair by Magika again and another adorable Bow atop the crown of the hair, this is a really cute style as it seperates at the back to look like tails.
I honestly feel like I have already worn this outfit, again by AnnaH and it is the Ana Lu set, named after Ana Lutetia. While AnnaH was making it we were there every step of the way on Plurk and the pics in the store on the vendors are actually Ana herself.
A beautiful Cowl Neck sweater with an elastic belt look – I had that exact belt in the 80’s lol, finished off with wonderful pinstripe capris in black, the great thing is that the attachments for the pants don’t effect the boot tops as they are above the knee and use a different attachment point.
The black and red combination was perfect for the Cypa Aztec boots, they are a must have for all you red black fans. The hair is Zero from Magika a french twist style ponytail with lovely thick bangs.
Just a nibble of some of the other patterns you can get in the Cypa boots from Enkythings.
Aren’t they just divine, and seriously this is just a taste, there are more to see up close and personal.
Now about the skins, SLink just released Anya a more photo realistic skin with such beautiful and glamorous make ups, and not only is there Newness but a SALE on the Newness and everything else in the store.

First off the 5 wonderful tones in Anya – Bronze, Fair, Light, Pale and Tanned. I probably completely messed the order up then, but you will see which one you like best when you DEMO DEMO DEMO.
The make ups are shown on the Bronzed tone and this is most of them,not all. There are also freckled versions of some of the makeups. The lips are stunning and the eyeshadows are smokey and alluring.
The gloss effect to the lipstick is fantastic, giving you a moist rich look that wont wear off. The body is superb as usual with SLink skins and I have this thing about the knees, it’s such a strange thing to focus on I know, but I really like them in all of her skins. Again it is all about the DEMOS but dont take too long to decide because at Half Price you wont want to miss out.
The Lacy Lingerie is also from SLink and I am finally able to share it from the last time I went shopping there, I really like the panties on this set, having a distinct vintage look to them. Again at half price you will be shopping up a storm. The heels worn in the tones pic are also from Enkythings and are the Nana heels.

I keep saying I am behind, and I know I haven’t done the star signs for Dec yet :(, I will try and get those done today. First I wanted to share some items that gave me the chance to blend two very talented design houses together. They do their own blending, as the designers of both are huge fans of eachother, so without further delay todays post is predominantly Fleur and CKS Designs.
This past week saw the opening of a brand new Fleur, if you have been in world for more than 12 months this occasion always generates much oo’ing and ahh’ing. One thing that Fleur does astonishingly well is rebuild. I have to say though , that I wish like when Relic shut down the Opera House, Fleur would do the same and auction off their build for charity or something fun like bits and pieces as prizes for something lol, you see no matter how long or short a time a build exists in world, there are always many of us who find themselves very attached to them, and I still would love the ballroom that was built for the launching of the Spring line collab with Nicky Ree.
Who can forget that train station that they had two builds ago, that was just stunning. This new build is definitely more of a mix between old and new, and it has a real village square ambiance to it. I especially like the cinema advertising the next Divas Movie :).
Anyway, so my point was, that with the reopening there was a group gift – gosh it takes me a long time to get to the point 😐 , if you aren’t already a member of the Fleur group you should definitely consider joining as a way to live in a skin of such lovelyness for a while, and then go buy them all.
This is the Fleur Shoujo Da Ni Ban in Lotus, Lily and the NEW Tone Azalea. Azalea was a much requested slightly darker tone for the Shoujo series. So there was me jumping for joy and Lovin Life yesterday when I was trying on these wonderful Group Gifts, then followed by the New release items.
Lovin life is the NEW Poses set created by the adorable Newdoll Nikolaidis , her business name is Roodie Noodie and currently you can buy these poses at Philotic Energy thanks to the kindness of Aemilia Case, or on Onrez and Xstreet SL. Being an avid photographer Newdoll started making poses to give herself the oppurtunity to capture exactly what she wanted for a picture, a great way to start out, and there are more to come – after just recently reading the Da Vinci Code, I find it too hard not to giggle at the V behind the head.
The outfit I am wearing is the PJ Princess Pack by CKS Designs, Kit really needs to make a whole Jimmy Jamm collection, because she just loves running around the grid in her sleepwear and its infectious. Every girl should go to sleep and wake up feeling like a Princess and this is a great way to guarantee it, and the lovely floral motif on the side of the face of the Fleur gift skin will have you in a beautiful slumber.
The PJ Princess set has many colours to choose from, and mixing as I have done in these pics is just fun.
The hair I am wearing in this pic and the next, are the NEW releases from Dutch Touch. Now if you haven’t been to Dutch Touch in a while you really need to revisit, Iki has done some extensive remodeling also; opening her store right up to make shopping much easier. The landing point is now very open , giving you a chance to find your bearings and go in the direction you need.
This style is the PhYllie Messy2 a nice shoulder length style that has a layered effect framing the face, this is again one of those all rounder styles for ladies that like a natural look that doesn’t need much maintenance. From PJ’s to a business suit this style would be a keeper.
This is the Parker set by CKS, and I have to admit to being completely thrown by the name, but then realising that I was paying more attention to the sound of the name rather than the spelling *blushes*. In Australia we tend to elongate words, it was funny to see a texan picking on Newdoll the other night for her No, saying she adds about 5 extra letters when she says it, every since I have to agree we do do that – No becomes something like Noyuuu hell I can’t even spell it phonetically to give you an example lol.
Ok now that I got that out , reason was in Aus. a Parka is like a padded coat sometimes with hoodie, so you can now imagine my surprise at unpacking an outfit like this lol – Confesses that for a moment I thought Kit had lost her mind :P.
Definitely a sweet outfit, for days spent pottering outdoors, the checkered pants are adorable and coming in many colours again gives you a chance to mix them with other types of tops, but the darling Parker top is just that, a sweet use of a sculptie to make a flared top.
The outdoors pottering is what has lead to the soft blush to the cheeks, but really its the New Strawberry Trois Parfait 3 skin by Fleur. The mouth is just wonderful, the lips and the colour so ready for kissing, the healthy glow to the skin makes it so obvious why this is a favourite look by many. All Fleur skins as I have said many times in the past have a divine softness to them, especially on the body, so if you aren’t wanting an athletic or toned skin then Fleur; and a whole lot of DEMOS is in your future.
The hair is two variations Eefje and Lieke in the Sculpted Woolen Beanie, the variations that I notices I believe have more to do with the style of Beanie and its texture than the actual hair. Both by Dutch Touch, the hair itself has a rich and also very healthy thickness to it, heavy and straight, a layered cut like this one would definitely make people envious of those bangs, mine always parts down the middle RL so I gave up.
How cute are those Geta, I have this thing about Getas in world, I think it started because there didn’t seem to be many thongs when I started, thongs have become a love much later for me, I hated them growing up.
The Neko Geta are from Dirty Lynx and I did have to play a little with the sculpted base, but they are mod so that wasn’t difficult and it was only because I wanted them more as a chunky thong look than an actual traditional Geta style. These were really inexpensive and the texture and detailing is really wonderful – sorry I didn’t do a better close up but there are demos.
Lastly is Savoy, oh how I love thee. This beautiful ensemble comes again in stunning gem colours. I am showing Ruby, Amethyst and Sapphire, the top is finished off with the beautiful bow collar atop the sheer halter style neckline.
Then sliding slowly down the body, you get to the skirt with a sensational thigh split on one side, the options with the skirt are wonderful also, you not only get the normal height but also a jacket layer high waisted version, perfect for wearing with a multitude of other top combinations, I just recently wore it that way with the Essential Wrap Sweater also from CKS and it looked great. The dress also comes with stockings and suspenders which is definitely sexy and in theme with the era the combo represents.
The Fleur Da Ni Ban Azalea Shoujo 6 skin is another of the New releases, soft sensual lips with minimal lipstick in this make up option, but smoldering plum shadow, making the combination very effective. It also has a lightness across the eyes that reminds me of Soap Opera camera tricks in the 80’s where they would lighten the make up around the eyes and zoom in when wanting to show some high impact emotion ‘ But ThornRidgeBeau I love Yoooouuu ” see how that works *giggles*.
The Shoes I am wearing are the Dela Thaelle Pumps, these shoes are great to wear with the Savoy, with the seperate ribbons at the ankles matching the collar bow of the top. Also from Dela are the brand New Poses by Eitaro Igaly, the very talented sister of Kuranosuke Kamachi , both girls put so much effort into Dela and the poses again came from the desire to have poses that represented their products, poses are used in the second and third pics.
Hair left to right, Flapper from ETD a great take on the vintage style but with a definite moderm relaxed look, Nurse Bettie by Old Gravy definitely a Bettie Paige style that I have had for so long and love returning to, and Olive my favourite of this kind of style from Gurl 6, sleek and sexy this hair comes in a pack of three styles that are only in black.

Sarah – 3 Looks
Every time I go to write the date this week, I go to write 12 not 11; it’s crazy enough how fast time is flying without pushing it to go faster.
I adore Ponchos, I mean what’s not to love, they are warm and snuggly, but its more the mystery surrounding them I enjoy. Dela recently released the Sarah Poncho, and this stylish creation isn’t your one piece of fabric with hole kind of look, but a layered creation in a large range of beautiful colours.
Now the fun part, is that not only do you get the full Poncho look, with a sash like belt tie at the mid section, but because of the luxury of attachment points – and in this case it’s a bonus – you end up with varying looks from the one item.
Far left I have gone Sarah Poncho in black, the way it’s intended to look. But underneath we have the Kitties Lair Booty Call gold mini dress, and MAiiKI black leggings – from their strapless and patent set – this way it’s an ensemble with the intention of partying hard. Flip off the Poncho and you have a sexy dance the night away look.
Now in the middle I removed the mid section attachments, removed/didn’t wear, whichever you like. This gives it a slim waisted look, while keeping the large collar and full sleeves, a very fashionable style especially if you add a wonderful belt like the Jill Tank Top belt also from Dela. Adding the Wednesday set pants from Cachet, this is a powerful look, from boardroom to function and then boarding a plane to some retreat for the weekend.
The third look is a bit more dressy casual, again only wearing the collar and this time the lower portion of the sleeves, you get a very attractive look that can accompany some pants, in this incidence I opted for the Celestial Studios Suede pants in blue, you can’t see them really but they are there, and a really nice match to the blue in the Sarah Poncho.
Having a blonde moment, and not the usual kind, but just really enjoying the styles that I had in blondes. A revisit to an older style on the left is Riha from Mirai, now recently I moved older blog pics to flickr and saw this hair and went OMGosh I own that ? I am terrible with hair, its an addiction I have had since the begining, I used to buy hair every day and more than one, and often never wear anything but the last style purchased – see why I need to blog lol. But then often I wear a hairstyle in a post and it gets put away and like this occasion it’s like buying it all over again when I find it. Such a wonderful short spiky look, the kind of cut that straight out of the shower you can run your fingers through it and you’re done.
The next style is from Magika called Zoey, I have shown this before also, and it is actually a long ponytail style, but the way the sides and bangs are shaped it’s a great concave effect for this look, so even without the tail, this is a style that with such a collar really works.
Camilla is a NEW release from Diversity which as an updo is just GLAM, when I put the clothes together though I realised that this hair doesn’t have to only be formal, as there are many that would wear this kind of style in such a way – Plus I wanted to wear it lol. The cover pic is another New style from Diversity called Calista a beautiful braided surround style, that can go from Casual to Dressy easily also, very flower power to me, I love it.
The Stella shoes and Devon boots are also from Dela, so while you are getting your Sarah Poncho on you can check those out also. The skin I am wearing I have shown before, and with the mature look to these styles it was a no brainer, the Bijoux skin by SLink just has that air of style to it, so DEMO DEMO DEMO.
