What the hell is Drank ? who wants to drink soda to go into a coma
Whimsy and I stayed up all night taking pics, Newdoll joined us, and even though her and I have the same timezone roughly, it is getting late for her too. Last night just before Whimsy was going to bed, I begged her to come to one more store with me, I found a link to a store I blogged almost two years ago, and wanted to go back and check in on it. WOAH what a transformation, from a few swimsuit vendors to a multi story – there were too many to count – store.
Meghindo’s is an all growing store, from Lingerie and swimwear to high falutin gowns, and everything in between. Much to Whimsy’s dismay though a lot of it is done in a way as to combine whole looks and only have them available that way to buy, even shoes are included in some cases. Every single level there was more to ooo and ahhh over. One thing that was stand out stunning is the use of metalic like textures in her work, and the fact that they come up so beautifully, when it is really hard to keep that from out of world to in.
The accessories, the shoes are all part of the outfits or buyable in the store, so many incredible pieces available, and I am so in lust with the lace bag and boots. The clothing in this store is all about Sexy, so if you are looking for something to wear to the local girl scout meeting then this is not the store for you, but if you want to turn some heads at the local PTA and show them who’s boss then hell yeah represent.
New New Newness is about to be released at LeLutka, and the build about to be unveiled is incredible. I got a guided tour yesterday afternoon and if Thora ever needs a break from clothes and hair making, she can certainly take on the building world. The new build is a total return to all that is LeLutka, and the individual areas are going to have people really immersing themselves in the store as a place to spend time, not just buy and run.
You will notice a definite lag reduction, and also with the use of their new vendor system you will have full redelivery options on any future purchases, which is just awesome. The new Ava skins are the ones I am featuring today, and they come with 8 make ups eyeshadows on the skin, and lipsticks on the tattoos layers. So many possibilities with some amazing new hair attachments included as well.
All of the hair in this post is also part of the about to be released collection at LeLutka, stunning styles in their usual gorgeous textures. So me thinks that today should be spent spending hours of time shopping and enjoying Meghindo’s while you wait for LeLutka to re-open or you could just convince Whimsy to stay up later while she rants in voice, in a crazy whacko stupor cussing like a sailor being all ghetto.

I wanna be sedated
Wow it seems like ages since I blogged, but only a few days. Through the week we have caught up with so many things, the other day Whimsy, Marni and I went to a Haiku Speed build, Whimsy and I came across this concept a few weeks ago, and it was our first attempt. We had a blast and are hoping to do some more in the future.
If you have been under a rock in the past 24 hours the fact that Elikapeka of ETD is back will be news, with the new name elikatira, and two new styles have been released on the MarketPlace. It baffled me at first when ETD closed, not the closing part, as that was just shocking, but more the part where no one talked about it, or blogged it. I felt that something should be said/acknowledged about such a big deal…but then I realised that it was better to leave things unsaid, because she would be back, and talking about ETD as though truly gone might make that a reality.
For this post I am wearing one of the two new styles, Fresh. Fresh is a modern take on an 80’s look. The sidepony was a huge hair statement back then,.and only really achievable with certain length hair. The hair textures Elikatira have now are just beautiful, soft and pretty, and I for one cannot wait to see the styles that will come forth from this incredible creator. I also hope she makes more accessories and shoes, as that was a definitely growing aspect of her store in the past.
Marni Grut of Royal Blue has been creating up a storm lately, and I was lucky enough to see some of that process this week. It is just amazing from designer to designer how they go about similar things, by that I mean the steps they take to get to a final product. She is incredibly talented with sculpt making and her latest botties are proof of that. They are that perfect base of a boot shape that I love to wear, especially with pants. I don’t know what it is, but there is such a difference between boots and shoes, even when you don’t see the upper. These manage to give you that, without having an upper at all.
Whenever So Many Styles is in FLF I somehow manage to buy more of the store than even wondering about the item, it is the actual event that gets me over there. This time I was truly captivated by the outside of the store, I swear it is a new build, because I do not remember it ever looking like that before, but I could be hallucinating. Either way, I really wanted to shoot a pic outside, and generally I steer clear of location shoots, they annoy me, but that is usually because I want to find one, rather than having already found one.
The interesting thing about the sim SMS is on, is that it is encased in a sphere, so the sky is their own, no windlight no messing, it is easy no matter what settings you use. I logged in an alt to take a pic using Kirsten as you know I play with that viewer from time to time, with not just shadows but the every day. It is easier to have the alt log it in as there is no inventory to load, and the settings to shadows are already there, so it was a point and shoot, done! moment.. The pose is actually also from SMS as are the others used, that was a purchase on another flf day that took me there lol.
I adore the tweed corset I have on, it was instant draw, one day I will get the rest of them I think. Beautifully sculpted and a stunning green. The skirt is from Luck Inc and if I have something in fatpacks you will see it more often, being able to just go direct to the item you know you want and grab the colours your thinking of is bliss.
Back to my VR Studio and onto some in sphere shots, changing to a cardigan I have from SMS’s contribution to The Dressing Room in the past, this colour is not in the store, but I did check it does come in others that are, gorgeous colours too, so you wont be disapointed. I love Orange, always have, citrus colours rock my world, the legging also from there come in one great pack. Both items and the addition of another colour of the fab ruffle skirt go so well with the necklace also made by SMS, Irie Campese really does have a creative knack…from clothes to poses to accessories, shifting from one to the other.
I am wearing the beautiful Trinity skin by Redgrave, this is a recent release for Redgrave and the make ups on this tan tone are just stunning. The skin started with the paper tone as far as I can tell, and I am pretty sure that many begged for a more human like tone so they too could look as lovely. I do not know for sure, but from watching how it seemed to evolve it seems as such.
The pouty mouth on this skin is a big draw, if you love a good pout then DEMO DEMO DEMO. The different tones have different make ups, so you may just have to get them all lol.

Wear Gray on Bandana Day
I tp’d over to Wear Gray first thing upon logging in today…and grabbed some lovely items. Not all of them shown, but the ones I bought are all 100% going to this worthwhile cause. With it being also Bandana Day and the last day of Hair Fair 2010 I decided it was perfect for a combined post.
The first outfit is from Izzies, this combination outfit is both nautical and perfect for whatever the day piles on you. Whether it be business or pleasure the outfit is both smart and casual, and desirable for all age groups. Worn altogether, or mixing the pieces with other sets, you will get a lot of vaule out of this ensemble. The Bandana I have chosen to wear with it is by Miel, and this style is their own creation, which actually alludes more to having your hair encased and tied off, which makes it a great accessorie for all year round.
what Tekeli-li was able to do with the bandana kit blew us all away, this armor style bandana is just amazing and you can get the male version also. Do not miss out on any of the great work done by so many different creators this year, not just hair people. The lingerie is another Wear Gray item by Sassy Kitty designs, and yay for Grey stuff, I love grey as you know, and having the ability to donate and get more beautiful grey stuff is just a bonus. Make sure you head on over if you haven’t already and get your Wear Gray items. The cause is great and the organisers have done a fabulous job.

Gasps and Exhales
Ok, I ran out of energy, definitely not motivation. I realised that once it hits Midnight tonight I will not be able to wear hair for any more posts about Hair Fair, as it will be Bandana Day… one of my favourite parts of the whole fair. So even though I did not get every hair I have shot, it just gives me more hair to wear in every post after it ends lol.
I feel a bit like a Brady in that last combo pic, either that or a guest on Celebrity Squares – wonders if you even have such a show, as I only ever see the concept in satire/comedy skits. I am not going to drive you crazy and talk about every single thing as I often do, this post is too big, and I am seriously starting to see disney birds flying around my head.
So lets pretend I know how to skim and get to the point of things. First pic bottom right, the Ty style has been originally shot for Men, but even Kavar has realised that women have a fondness for dreadlocks and may reshoot the ad, mind you have you seen that ad, wowza. The texture on this hair is amazing, scares me to think of hair in that condition, but in Second Life you can totally rock that. ChiChickie did some great looks with so many different ways of doing hair, which I find really interesting, from regular prim manipulation to alpha textured curls.
Hair on the right again in the next pic, that is Shag, and even though I only shot the girls, it is the mens hair that got a lot of talk around town, even down to men wizzing past me at the fair in desperate search of the booth – true story. Raspberry Aristocrat on the left has done amazing things this year, as she did last year also. I had a chance to chat with her about her experiences with Hair Fair and it is always lovely to get that feed back by those that matter, the ones giving of themselves and their creations to such a worthwhile cause.
Iren did a lot of hat/bandana looks, they are either your thing or not, I am a huge fan of hat/hair as you know, and I really liked the braid cap look. MadDesigns went wild with some amazing hawkes, not only the male one but also this ‘I am woman hear me roar’ kind of look, incredible work, reminds me of a curly DD. It is truly amazing what hair bases seem to inspire. I am wearing the ZombiePopcorn or Bust polo by Boom, they have a few items going out with that event, and if you aren’t in their subscribo you may have missed the news that they have started rewards for shopping in their store, you should all look into that, so cool.
Ah fri.day so feminine and so divine, the bows interwoven in the locks, these will be worn forever and always. Wasabi Pills did some exciting and out there styles also and I couldn’t help but wear some coming soon items naughty me. Rezlpsa Loc is a name that we all had trouble pronouncing preceding the event, and it doesn’t even matter, because their hair is enough to remember them by, lovely thick locks. Damselfly is one of those stores that produces an abundance of hair all year, but I think that the style worn with clothing is just amazing, with its own hair base tatoo giving it a real pulled back look.I am wearing dandy set and boots again from Miel but who can blame me I love this set, and when I get all colours of something, you will always see me work them back into future posts.
LoQ came out of nowhere as a hair creator, and this hair fair release shows that they are here to stay, the cloche bunny lace overlays are genius and very alluring. Rosy Mood is another happy return to Hair Fair this year and the styles are so adorable, I especially like the pretty floral textures in the headband that changes for this lovely bun. I am wearing another polo from Boom this time with a surf print, showing off my tummy from the new Sonja skin by Idiosyncrasy being released this weekend. If there are still any lefft, a special make up was released in all tones and options for a drastically reduced price today, so you should get on over and try it out.
I love what Surf Co released this year at the fair, her first fair, and I hope not her last. the hair I am wearing in the main pic is so reminding me of the little girl in Monsters Inc lol.
Ok I have completely run out of air, love to you all, don’t forget tomorrow its bandana Day but also last day at the fair, so do not miss out on helping the Wigs for Kids charity, Mark their rep came in world last night to say thank you to everyone and we had an awesome time talking to him and his wife, their first time in Second Life and they were amazed at how generous everyone has been.

It never rains at Hair Fair
What a day, so Whimsy and I went over to Paper Couture to see the newness again, ended up tping in a whole slew of people from Fashion Emergency which was fun. Then when we were done we went walkabout.
Sofia a while back told us that we just had to go to Ooh La La and I had not had the chance until today. I guess with missing Mel so much it was time to be all girly girl and prepare for his return. This lingerie by Nylon Pinkney is incredible, the textures used, the detailing, all of it is true to the exceptional quality she always produces. The awe factor doesn’t stop there though, the prices are incredible, this is lingerie you will dream about, at a price that will allow you to go and add all the other bits and pieces you may need. Champagne quality at beer prices.
I am again wearing some of the stunning Paper Couture shoes, and there is so much more to love since I worked out they are modify with help from a clued up friend lol. I am going to try my hand at moving the bows to the solids lol stay tuned – if you attempt this make copies first – All of the hair that I am wearing in the first pic is by the lovely Man Lady Bubbles Clawtooth, he was an absolute joy to spend small moments with during setting up at the fair, so fun and vivacous. Clawtooth by Clawtooth hair is every vintage loving girly girls dream store, so to team the three together for pics was a no brainer.
Next pic is me channeling Anya, lol. The hair she has created for OhMai Salon is just adorable and everything you would expect by such a talent. I am so glad that she wanted to be a part of this years fair, there were so many creators this year that came back to making hair, or launched their new lines, its always been a tradition at Hair Fair to do this, and we have always kept those people a secret unless otherwise prompted. We always take that part of being on the committee very seriously, if a designer wants to launch at the fair, we do all we can to make sure that they get to do that…funny how that works, but we are always so honored at the trust in us to do so.
Anyways, rambling, the hairstyles that Anya released are so unspoiled and carefree, the colour names are a classic, and I could not resist wearing fanta, mmmmmmmmfanta. If these styles are her first foray back into hair, then I for one am way too excited about what she will reveal once she reopens her store in a few months. The skins I am wearing in the second and third pic are Tess2 by LAQ and soooo cute. Fresh faced and innocent me lol. They come in all the usual beautiful tones, with gorgeous make ups, and you can of course now get the brow and hair base add ons seperately to enhance your experience. DEMO DEMO DEMO.

Rock Paper Scissors
As I said the other day, I am going to have to run on all cylinders over the next few days, still so much hair to post on, and so many other incredible items being released and what not.
The styles I am wearing in this pic are all from Curio, now Rita wasn’t sure she was going to make it in time, but she certainly got her goods on with these releases. I don’t know what it is, but ever since 2007 Curio always seems to impress me with their short styles at Hair Fair, and of course when it isn’t, there is just something about how Rita gets things to work in that regard. Louise is the type of style that if you were a short hair girl, you wish your hairdresser could achieve. The fun bow and jade styles are fabulous for glitz and glam but also just for getting those stray locks out of the way.
I ran into Neferia Abel of Ivalde earlier today at Modavia, and she has out some charming and elegant styles there at their stall spaces for fashion week. The first look on the left is combining one of her new sets with the pants from last seasons Paper Couture…reason being of course that all the shoes I am wearing are part of their release today and so gorgeous. Yes lovelies, Paper Couture has a new cobbler and the first release is divine, these are just two of the styles and I will show more later…I hope that we don’t have to wait too long between PC releases if these are the kinds of footwear creations they are doing now.
The other great styles from Ivalde are vintage love, the dress in the middle is so stylish and would work for business or pleasure, the dress is the perfect little cocktail number, and even Whimsy was surprised at my all purpleness, but as much as it isn’t my first choice usually, I do like to rock it out because I know how many out there just love it to pieces, plus I look FABULOUS Darlings lol.
Don’t forget that Hair Fair will be over on the 19th so make sure you get there and buy up all the charity wigs, so that you can help Wigs for Kids help a child.

Pie’s Anyone
Now we all know by now I could talk underwater with a mouth full of marbles, or so people keep telling me. But as I will be spending every single moment I can taking pics of all the incredible hair from Hair Fair that I can, I may have to talk a little less – waits until the cheers die down to continue. I am going to fail miserably though I just know it, too many beautiful things to talk about.
For instance this years Bishwear release of hair would have to be my favourite to date. The elegance and fun, combined with really pretty hair textures is just wonderful, mind you one being called roach – the hair texture not the hair – makes me shudder just a touch. Sweeny is definitely magnificent, so get on down to their booth and grab all the goodies.
Whippet & Buck has had a big showing on my blog this week, and always deserving, this top is no exception and totally beautiful, I wish I had included a back image. You can either wear one layer for a sheer effect or stack them for the more conventional, but either way this LE Look exclusive is just YUM. If you do not have the One Boy set from Ingenue, you best be heading over there, both skirts in the pic are part of that set and it is all win, what is not to love with a bustle skirt as fine as that one.
The skin I have on is the latest The Dressing Room skin from Tuli, this is Helena and she has a perfect for vintage wear make up and just a wonderful all over skin. Incredible price point too, so if you aren’t already a die hard Tuli fan, try this way and become one.

Feeling like death
There is a project going on at the moment, a collaberation between a dozen or so different designers, all at Potters Field. Now the idea of the theme, and location is although morbid, quite dynamic all at the same time. I got these great clothes that can be used as seperates… and what is not to love with that hat.
The skin is the new Audrey skin by Tuli, a beautiful faced skin, that comes with many different options, but be very very aware, the options will not do you any good if you don’t use a viewer with tattoo layers. The lipsticks are all on tatttoo, so without tat options you will have bare lips on all skins, which is not that big a deal if you are not overly fond of lippy. The cleavage this time around is also on layers, so if you use a viewer that only allows for one tattoo, you are going to have to choose as well. This could be very unfortunate for those that have their own tattoo layers occupied with something like tattoos.
It is a shame that many residents that refuse to use the viewer 2 and 2.1 options, or those that will not use 3rd party viewers that have them, will miss out on the options of this skin, but then it might just be what motivates them enough to give it another try.
Very old and new hair from LeLutka, the old being Aradia, a wonderful straight style that so suited the looks, and Sugar and Deja Vu again, so soft, and fluffy. I am also wearing SLinks Charity shoes from Shoe Fair, these come with the option of colour or cork wedge, the colour option being the colour the shoe is. So sleek and shiny the leather is, and so versatile, them being perfect for this dark and sombre look, but fun and funky for another time.
The shoes have the sculpted foot part built in, so instead of tinting to match my skin on the second, I went and tinted to match my socks, so funna with the ability to do that.

O to the B to the Noxious
Ever since I saw a sneak peak at this skin in an ad for another item, I was smitten. I have been waiting impatiently, and finally today it was released.
This is Bianca, the latest release from Adam n Eve, a pouty and sexy skin, with 12 make ups and four beautiful tones. There are two skins in the pack, one with and one without cleavage enhancement, as well as a whole lot of hair base and down there options on tattoo layers. The manicure and pedicure sets also come with as usual, so you get lots and lots of bang for your buck.
The make ups are fabulous, and Sachi said that in the future she plans on doing more make ups as separate layers, so yay for that to look forward to. I noticed a subtle difference in the tummy area, so make sure you DEMO DEMO DEMO these skins because they are lush.
The Edge dress is also by Adam n Eve and its a great Micro mini, but also has a flexi fuller mini skirt option, if the micro isn’t how you roll.
New skin deserves delish new hair, and the three newest styles from Magika are todays treat. The one on the right is such pirate hair, I can just see guys that RP giving that one a run. Texture change bands too, so lots of fun to mix with your wardrobe, and I couldn’t resist wearing the booty bay boots with it .lol.
I got new nails this week, aren’t they Speshul. As obnoxious as all get out, that is why I loves them. Blinged up and fabulously long…I got them in hot pink as well :P, you know you want some too lol.
