Ok to start off I’d like to declare my love for JB Gazov of J’s, and not just because he makes wonderful shoes, because we all already know that. My love is the fact that with the NEW prim/sculptie toes YOU CAN’T WEAR FACELIGHTS – gigglefits.

I mean you can if you want to, technically, but the lights will effect the toes and you will look like your toes are dead lol.

Ok so the title is Work, Rest and Play, so three looks for those categories today, just because I wanted some inspiration to show off some New to me yummies.

The first Play look , comes from Miu , these beautiful knit Slip dresses are just fabulous , and OMG the price. Not telling what it is but you will be so happy I promise as the three dresses are less than what you would pay for a – ok I have nothing that comes to mind that low in RL lol.

The knitted texture is just warm and snuggly, clinging to all the right bits , and the lace accents are just divine.

The hair is a Newwy from Mirai and is the Jule style with incredible tight twists on the side giving it a razor shave look. Sooo much fun and way to wear big hair lol.

The Gather Wedge from J’s are just gorgeous , you can get them with or without prim toes, thats up to you , me I love my toes normally so I don’t really mind either way, but all the fun with these is you have so many scripting options. You can click to make your toes darker or lighter depending on your skin tone , and they come pretty close. Then you have wonderful nailpolish options as you can see in the pics , allowing for you to co-ordinate with your outfit , or go completely different , depending on your mood.

Toe rings there are three options to choose from which is always fun , a lovely anklet you can wear in two styles and of course the fabulous option of Cork wedge or coloured to match the gather top part of the shoe.

The skin is the lovely Venus Pale from Redgrave in the Nude no make up look, pure and simple so that all the colour comes from your clothing.

Now its Work time, and these incredible Shiphone Dresses are by B11, Beanie Canning actually sent us here for their free swimsuit last week and I couldn’t resist these dresses , and believe it or not they come in even lower in price than the Slips, talk about shopping on a budget and looking fabulous THANKS BEANIE !.

I adore this look of a shirt dress , and sheer too with the cami underneath its so easy to look great. Now sheer isn’t easy to do with micro minis, and the good thing about these is that the bottom half isn’t really sheer enough to get you in trouble, but its definitely a style you can add so much too.

With the beige as you can see the Persona Sash Belt came out and tinting the brown a bit darker to match my Hobo Bag from Celestial Studios, it came up a treat.

Loving the bag idea and keeping true to me , I added the Cherry Bag to the black from Artilleri as I in RL used to often use old retro lunchboxes as a hand bag – my ET one is my fav.

Another tip from the great Beanie , is the SK Galliazo shoes store, wow what shoes , and these two pairs have both been freebies , this store does a new freebie pair every week you just have to go look and enjoy the full range.

I am wearing the Marie FH Pointed Pumps – Pecan, and the Maxine D’Orsay Pumps Red, both wonderful styles and more colours can be found in the store.

The hair on the left is the delightful vintage style Pearl and at the moment this is only 50L a pack at Gurl 6 as she is having a huge sale on older static styles at the moment.
Earth by House of Heart is the other wonderful hair do , and also has a wonderful braided leather band that actually trails down the back from its tie underneath, really lovely and soft you feel very clean in this hair.
I am also wearing from Artilleri the fabulous Gladys Glasses vintage catseye style that are just wonderful, I actually wear them allot when working.

Now for the Rest , often when cleaning my inventory I dance around in my undies , lol makes life easier if I have to see what something is, and well its just fun :P. The Boyshorts are from Popfuzz as is the tank which is seperate.

The boyshorts range come in so many different fun prints and colours , these are just a taste, Popfuzz Bamboo does INCREDIBLE underthings, stay tuned for her release for the Lingerie Expo it will blow your socks off.

The hair is the beautiful Tesa hair by Analog Dog thats available FREE at Savoir Hair Headquarters , so bouncy and fun , great for dancing around in your undies lol.

In work and rest I am wearing the MMSZero_Sun-Kissed-makeup3b from Minnu Model Skins , very diverse make up , so you can actually go from completely different looks in it with ease.

Style Starts Here is part of the Simone Stern product line, and the 70’s Chic full skirt set , is part of that collection.

To me it is totally late 60’s early 70’s in the fact that the skirt has poodle all over it – not literally. Every decade of fashion has that crossover time , right into the 3’s at least, I mean men were still wearing ugly shirts well into 93 :P.

I’m wondering if thats why I love vintage so much, being a 72 kid , I was on that cusp so to speak, always a girly girl; I loved wearing skirts and pretty frocks – and did every girl of that time have a red cord pinafore ? .

With the 70’s chic set you can revisit that swish swish cusp time, and the brilliant colours will brighten up any day.

Now the being a kid in the 70’s also meant that some things were like currency lol and also making stuff out of stuff was a big deal. Who can forget those windchimes made out of cutlery , omg and jewelry too, I used to pine for a fork bangle but I was way too little.

The Bliensen – BottleTopChoker and Earrings from Bliensen + MaiTai, brings all that childhood fascination with recycling back in full force, back then things like bottle tops and can rings were childhood currency, playing cards and marbles and anything with real staying ability became things of hours of joy, trading them was always fun, until of course some girl takes your barbie bride dress and a family war occurs – true story lol .

The hair is the Freebie Heather, from Tousled the new Brand Name for Haedon Quine, and the shoes are from Tesla and are called Diva , absolute JOY these shoes are , and if you watch the Brady Movie the second One of those silly ones , Marsha wears very similar shoes in the Mall Songfest scene – Yes saw it recently and went OMG TESLA !.

The skin is the beautiful Chaton Vivant skin by Fleur , love the lips and the eyes in this skin LOTS and LOTS.

Yesterday my day of inspiration started because of Beanie Canning from, yes again one of the members of Fashion Finds, seriously if you haven’t stopped by yet you should.

I was checking out the lead Beanie had given us all, on the latest releases in 3 Japanese hair stores , woot.

Off I ran and grabbed 2 styles from two of the three stores, and one demo I still am holding on to.

Once I was all styled up I knew exactly who’s yummies I wanted to share, and that is Myllie Writers latest from Persona.

The first combination is the Mini Skirt called Mollie and the Mollie Lace top and tank. The tank also comes separately and is a sexy combo, but with stylish charm.

The leggings that come as part of the skirt set can of course be worn without the socks, so you have pantyhose in an opaque look, which will be fab in boot season , or the leggings, I opted for both looks.

The hair I am wearing in this and the next two pics is the =TEKUTEKU= coco from of course Teku Teku , there is an abundance of fabulous styles there, even an adventurous dreads style. As well as walls and walls of hand painted hair textures for sale.

Later that night I went to Garfield and ran into Yabusaka Loon and Anju and so many other wonderful people including Sai Pennel and Lucas too. After buying some shoes (will be shown later Im sure ) I went to Yabusaka’s store and got this heavenly Choker , not only did I not need to edit it other than moving it forwards a smidge, but it has 7 different coloured stones on click, absolutely perfect and so girly girl that with the lace of the wonderful Mollie top it was perfection.

The Hair Rose in Grey and Purple from Essentia was a perfect match, and I realised yesterday that not only have you not really seen the Hair Roses up close and personal, but that you don’t really get to see a lot of the additional pieces I wear -if any – when I do, so Im trying to see if this way works better. The skin is the PXL Linda skin Gold_SmokeEyes_BlackEB that I showed yesterday with Efe, thats just adorable.

The NEW incredible Peep toe heels from AC Creations are something I have been waiting for, I suggested Aphrodite to a pair of peep toe ages ago , and when she got the time after her big move of the main store -which is always a stack of work – she created these beauties, they are called Sasy Chic *blushes* and they are just wonderful to wear with pretty frocks and dressed and sexy as all get out poking through he cuffs of dress pants or jeans.

The texturing on these too is divine, really classy and chic is what she was going for and she succeeded.

The next 2 sets are the Incredible Liane dress in Gold and Turquoise, I am sharing two today but there are other colours available and all the contrast leggings options are wonderful, I especially love the white with grey – lol like thats not typical.

As soon as I put this one , I knew that the Sasy Chic were going to be a perfect companion. Totaly modern Greek Goddess styled dress , and the shoes are made by Aphrodite , NO BRAINER , and of course as I gazed into the shoes folder, all the colours matched up perfectly – meant to be meant to be.

Liane is as I said truly a vision in old meets new, the wonderful tie at the shoulder in this one strap marvel had me feeling very luxurious and had anyone proposed running off to some island to dance all day I would have – Oh wait I did that *giggles*. perfect use of the layering options, with the leggings on the underwear layer and the dress on the top and pants layers.

I also love the symbol in the midsection of this dress, I am not sure what it means if anything but again it made me feel magical. With the Liane in Gold I am wearing the Medallion set earrings and bracelet from Essentia , the fabulous Tortoise shell Shades from Dernier Cri – love these and there were all sorts of tint options to choose when buying, as well as other frame colours .

In the Turquoise Liane, I went with this colour because of another fabulous Beanie tip, the *UnTone Quily* free bracelet(navy) which is a freebie and comes in two sizes, just look at all the work that went into this fabulous bangle cluster. The of Earrings and Necklace and the Gem Deco Silver Turquoise set – the Gem Deco collections come in gold or silver and many other incredible hand painted semi precious gemstones to choose from –and the Blue Harmony Hair Rose are all from Essentia . Because of the wonderful contrast leggings the Sasy Chic heels in the deeper turquoise matched wonderfully.

The next two sets from Persona are the Nola dresses, what I love about these straight away is their femininity with a definite old fashioned charm. Of course in my blogging land everything is timed to perfection, just as I changed clothes Roslin Petion of Fleur delivered to me the stunning NEW Lady Aurora skin, in the Vivant line of skins.

Unable to help myself I tried it on to be instantly in awe of not only its beauty as I always am with Fleur skins, but also the of course lol perfect match of the make up to the Cherry Nola dress I already had on – seriously sometimes, well most times my blogging kharmic energy is super duper lol.

The one other fabulous thing about the Fleur Vivant line is the absolute confidence that if you like the make up, you dont have to look over everything else, you could be covered from top to toe and only your face showing and if its a hit its a complete hit , thats so reassuring in skins buying . But if you haven’t had the pleasure of Fleur skins yet, then of course DEMOOOOOOOO.

Back to Nola now, the lace top of this dress had me all worried that I wasnt going to be able to love the lace on its own, of course Myllie being Myllie had Mollie up her sleeve -thank goodness. So Nola is able to be Nola, an attractive and very beautiful babydoll style dress, but with as I said , an old fashioned charm to it, so that even though short, its not revealing – amazing how that can be portrayed depending on the design.

The boostier style bodice look over this delicate keyhole lace top – combined layer, not seperatable – runs down your body as you swish as you walk. Again beautiful additions of pantyhose but this time patterned ones *squeels* love them , spent a fortune in the 80’s every weekend on patterned stockings only to have some (censored) smack into me with a cigarette when sitting on some ripped vinyl bar stool in some smoke filled dive at 4am – ok I probably deserved it then , or my mum would definitely say I did lol – but I DID LOOK FAB , and now you can too with these lovely detailed pantyhose.

Other standout feature is the lovely silver and feathered brooch that comes with the set, now in the cherry I am wearing the one that comes with , in the Grey I am wearing one from Kalon -more about that in a sec- another beautifully feminine adornment of earlier times, that don’t get seen enough these days, mind you vintage brooches in the style like this one are very very chic right now. So make sure you make a copy of this one and put it in your favourite Jewelry pieces folder , will look wonderful when just wearing something like jeans and another style top.

The hair is the second style I got yesterday because of the Beanie one, its the BP* anna mori/dark brown from BP* , I adore the backcombed look to this and the length being not too long, so its even cuter the amount of work you would need to do to achieve this look RL . This style would look wonderful with a headband or even a little tiara .

Now in the Nola Grey I went with bare legs , just because I can :P, but opted for even more traditional jewelry in the form of the Cameo Pearl set from Kalon , I have been dieing to wear this for so long , and every time I went to , something just wasn’t quite right , but see its because I was waiting for Nola . Love the choker and love the brooch , again definitely something you could use to add some uniqueness to something a bit more casual and even more modern .

Moire Georgette the cheeky minx, sent a notice today on fash con to cause all sorts of heart stopping..The notice claimed Closing Down, tired of the drama etc.

That part was a prank :p EVIL! the rest wasn’t. Bossa Nova IS Closing Down, but to make way for expansion to the Bossa Nova brand.

With being so speacilised with incredible Vintage styles, I guess her wanting to be able to move in all sorts of fashionable directions has finally taken its toll…totally understandable when you specialise and have such an incredible gift for creation, such as Moire does.

Now for the closing down part of preparing for the re-vamp, Moire has reduced many sets in her main store, wondeful dresses and styles that you will have to have, they are clearly marked with a word balloon stating LAST CHANCE!

What is equaly divine is that the picture showing 6 full sets is FREE! *picks you up off the floor* Yes FREE, there is a big box at the landing point, that is the last chance box full of incredible freebies such as this and a few more pieces, so even if like me; you have lots of Bossa Nova and can’t take advantage of the SALE, be sure to go and grab the Gift Box, and take all your friends there too, so they can experience this wonderful present from Moire to us all.

Truth Hawks of TRUTH Designs, just rebuilt his sim, and I am LOVING it. If you’re Australian like we are, or you are a lover of Aussie movies, you will understand the title of this and the last post….if not then you have to learn :oP.

Ok Ok you may work it out anyway, when I start going on and on about how Truth hasnt just set out to build a mall around his own Beautiful Main Store, but has invited friends he cares about to join him on his sim.

In doing so he has created a ‘Home’ for them, and you can feel it. The sim is stunning in its design, but there is a definite energy surrounding it that makes you want to stay. As you can see I tpd back to write this post sitting by the wonderful fountain in the courtyard.

The sim is very italian piazza, and thats such an aussie thing to do too, you really have to know what we are all about down here to get that lol – looks around for some Gelato.

The stores all over the sim are some very very familiar names , and a few NEW ones too including of course Arcane, the fabulous Aussie Skinner.

I am so glad I got a New pc this week, just to be able to enjoy the spectacular beauty of Sweet Sorrow, and omg everything rezzed for me *sniffles* and the waterrrrr omg the water.

But lets get to the goodies shall we, the skin I am wearing in all shots is of course from Arcane. The first picture is The Gypsy Coat by TRUTH and the incredible Loose fit Cargo Pants.

This coat is fabulous, not just in colour, and there are others..but the overall style and detailing is just YUMMO!. I love the open style of it the most as it allows you to show off not just one item of clothing but lots, or in this case my fab new tummy lol.

You can of course wear it without the prims, but look at the great fit of the coat, didn’t have to edit a thing, I LOVE when that happens. The belts is fabulous, the structure of it is great, it really really looks like a belt should when unbuckled.

The lapel and hoody colour is divine and rich in contrast with the fabulous deep cherry of the coat , it definitely is a great choice for daytime casual moving into nightime dressy. The Loose Fit Cargo pants were a Must Have for me, they are grey, so I really don’t have to go into that lol. but the shading and length is just fab, with their prim cuffs for that rolled up look, and my favourite part is the side waistband, I love when pants do up a bit to one side, its just a little sexier.

The fab and quirky hair is Lilo, a NEW release by Truth in his hair section and OMG the hair this man is creating is just fantasorgasamastic – Truth gets a new made up word. The shoes are the Heel Strap Platforms by ETD.

Savvy? is also there another well known Aussie, Dakota Buck… as many of you know Dakota has joined the team over at Armidi, which is hell exciting, but unfortunately means no newness for Savvy? well I for one am all about the oldness too, and for me today two sets I am going to show are brand new to moi.

This is the Eve of Destruction set, and its just all degrees of splendid. For one it has a SYSTEM SKIRT – quickly puts it in the right category so I don’t forget – The divine Pencil skirt is, well divine lol. I love pencil skirts and again this one is done properly, fantastic length, shading and design.

Dakota’s use of not the norm colour wise is what I adore about her creations, many couldnt envision that kind of yellowy colour in a set like this one, but its what made me buy it in the first place lol ok second I lie, we all know it was the skirt.

One thing I will ALWAYS hands down commend Dakota for, and strongly stand by my claim she was the ‘first’ to do it, is her implementing of layers. Ok she might not have been, but she was definitely the first to grab everyones attention for doing it lol. It definitely is those little things that make her shine though, not just by seperately packaging all additional layers in the one set, so you dont get confused…but also the additions of things like glove layers for sleeve lengtheners, and in this top that looks fab.

The Military collared crop jacket is stunning as well, and you will get lots of use out of that in other outfits I am sure, as well as the tights added to the mix to create a complete ‘look’. The hair is Dorothy by TRUTH and not only is it a fabulous style but again I am so in love with the Browns 2 pack, the colours are scrumptious. The shoes are the Fujin Saena heels from Enkythings that I spoke about yesterday ALL money from the sale of these lovely shoes will go to Charity, so please buy them

Artilleri is also at Sweet Sorrow WOOOT! and though Antonia isnt an Aussie she is like coming home as well, there is something comforting when you see Artilleri at a sim, its like a nice little stamp of approval that the sim is good apples.

This Lingerie is Deanna polka dots, and I have had it for a while and made sure it was in the store there. I have been dieing to wear it – hee hee I am so bad – The style is typical Vintage Gorgeousnessness, which Antonia does incredibly well.

You do have with or without Garter options and the style of panties is just YUM!, teamed up with some divine fishnets this set is definitely provocative.

The hair another NEW style by TRUTH , is Polly and I love love love this style, you only saw the front of it in the Arcane Skins post, but now you can see how delightful this uppy-do really is.

The shoes are the Nana heels from Enkythings, which you know I love bunches especially for shooting lingerie, and you do get to see some more of the body of the divine Arcane skin.

Dutch Touch and Fuse are also at Sweet Sorrow, The top I am wearing is from the Cam(O)Lis set from Dutch Touch, a set that I blogged a long while ago on Appearance Mode, great style tank, which you get three colours of in the set…I really like the high back of this style and the detailing around the empire line and hemline.

The pants are the by FUSE, fabulous cut of pants and the belt detailing is done really well. I adore the colour of them so they were a Must Have!. I am also wearing the cute Bloom Freebie Ring from FUSE thats in the store, the Hair again by TRUTH Is the Yummy Rachel Hair, the headband is change on click, but I did tint it to reach the right blue I needed.

Heel strap Platforms are from ETD and look how great the Arcane Ghost skin looks in this combo, as does the skin in all the pics as they are all as I said, but I am loving Ghost more and more each time.
Have I mentioned to you yet how much of a perve Truth is lol, well its true. If I moved my hands you would see its true just by these adorable Border Line Crop tops…there are four in the pack and they really are pervey, but really well made and great colours.
Would look great over your favourite tanks too as a closed in shrug look- why I say LOUDLY layers of everything even if it doesnt make sense- these are only on the shirt layer though but still I have stacks of tanks on the undershirt layer, as I am sure you do too.

LIX is also at Sweet Sorrow, the store owned by Ryker Beck who did a lot of the posters in Truths new Store Build, Ryker started off making jewelry and has now moved into clothing, with a small so far line of separates…and with all her PS skills I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in the future.

These are her Essentials Corduroys in * hee hee * Ghost, couldn’t resist them. They are really well designed and I don’t think I had a really good pair of white casual pants., I do now though.

The shoes are the Nana heels in white to match of course – and will someone explain to me that no white after labor day thing, seriously I see that in movies so much and have no clue why?- from Enkythings.
Another Aussie designer is the owner of ROT Designs, a very eclectic range of clothing and accessories, this one jumped out at me though, done all one one layer, its very very funna…I used to wear vests alot in the late 80’s and always stole ties whenever I could lol -not from stores silly but people.

This is the Broder Vest in Violet,and i just like its overall Geeky-ness, so I just had to add some glasses by the fabulous Prim-Optic store.

These glasses are called Sleek and are so many kinds of cool. You might think they are just glasses but they are so much more. Each pair comes with click to colour change the frames and lenses separately, yes you can also tint the glass but colour it also. Made on the Jacket layer this fab Cardi will look great as is or with any layers you choose to wear under it. The opening at the bottom will allow for a nice splash of colour on your favourite t shirt or tank. Lastly, and again a Savvy? item, is the Dear Stephanie, WOW, it looked great in the picture but WOWZA on the body. Everything about this set is stunning.

The blouse is a divine grey colour with that incredible collar, the cropped vest is also a wonderful addition to the set as a whole or worn seperately. But the absolute LOVE came for the Jodhpurs, OMG look at them, take my word for it they are BUM-tacular!.

I love love love the realism of the fabric, real joddys are tight tight tight, and they are made with that freaky space age polycottowoolystuffs thats probably been nuclear heated, and then sent to the antartic to test on polar bears during mating season, whatever they do to it, its TIGHT!. Well Dakota managed to get that look spot on, and my bum thanks her for it.

Again the additional love in the form of sculptie sleeves, and then traveling down my pants, if you can get passed my bum you’re doing better than I did. The set is finished off with fabulosu Opaque stockings, you know the really thick private school ones- why oh why in this country would you ever make kids wear such things when its HOT, barbarians- but for this set they are spot on perfect- sorry had to have a tanty for a sec, us public schoolies had to wear them too sometimes.

I went with two looks with the footsies, the first being the Metal Pinson boots by Enkythings, as they have an equestrian look to them in their sleek lines, so suited the pants well. The second being the Diva heels by Tesla which I love for this outfit when I took off the stockings and blouse it had such a carefree look to it, very very northshore, but with sensible shoes :p.

The hair oh my the hair, is the Paris style by TRUTH and I am so in lust with this hair, the hat/beanie/floppy thing is just gorgeous, and look how divine the whole ensemble goes together. The hat is colour change on click and its staying black on mine lol I LOVE ITTTT!
