This is another marathon post, and so worth the time it took to do, in between all the other things I do in a day it astounds me that its already nearly 11am so that’s 12 hours gone wooosh, since I logged in.

All fun to put together though, todays post is about two things mainly, boots and skin. The boots are the latest releases by Enkythings, and the Cypa boots are Enktans first sculpted boots and you have to have to check out the DEMOS as soon as possible, and then buy them all lol. I have always loved his Pinson and Cupo boots that are prim work as they were the first boots I ever had that were streamlined to the shape of the leg.

The Cypa has that same beautiful shape and the leather work is marvelous, not just plain leather boots these ones, no that would be too easy for Enktan, he has this habit of liking to release a multitude of colours in every release and he topped that with these. Each boot has incredible texture work to the calf of the boot topped and bottomed with leather in tan brown or black.

For the first look I am wearing the brown version in Snake, which are just lovely. Wearing with them the Brown Cords from Celestial Studios – yes I know you have seen them lots of times before and will again in a moment in another colour lol. The Essential Wrap Sweater in Choc from CKS and the divine and easily tintable Helena waist sash from Persona – I love those. Tinting the sash the same colour as the boots leather ties in the whole outfit.

Another piece of leather love today is the New Paddo bag by TRUTH, now in Australia we don’t have that many traditions, well we have a lot but usually they involve hangovers – Aussie’s don’t take offence you know its true. But one thing we do have is incredible Markets, and one tradition for a Saturday in Sydney, especially if you are from the East is Paddo Markets.

This bag totally depicts that whole thing for me, whether the bag was bought from one of the ever so talented designers – many big names started out at Paddo – or whether its the one you take with you when you go, because you know you are going to need lots of room for buying fabulous things. This Paddo bag has the size and the style down pat.

It also comes in many beautiful colours of leather- this being the Camel – and the texture work on the sides with the zipper and the discreet TRUTH logo are just wonderful. It comes with either hand hold or shoulder animations, so you are set either way.

Another set that would be in total keeping with the beautiful items you can buy at our markets would be the Tiger’s Eye Gold Jewelry set from Essentia, this was made by request of the Lovely Jaydie because she couldn’t find any at the time. The Hair also from TRUTH is the NEW Caitlin style in Chocolate, I am a Brownzilla in the making today, Mel would be proud.

The next Brown foray is in the form of the Cypa boots in Brown Swirls, giving a lighter look. Celestial Studios Stone Cords this time, I can’t help it they really are yummy pants, you are lucky I didn’t go with the Choc Suede pants too 😛 – get those as well when you are there.

The shirt I have on is from the Sonya set at AnnaH, a really cute shirt that is usually worn with a leapard print coat but on its own it has that kind of safari – omgosh I just got the connection – ok safari shirt and leopard coat umah thats naughty *grins*, it’s adorable actually and no orange leopards were harmed in the making.

Ooo that reminds me , I am using the New Dela poses in this post BUT , one or two of them are from the fantastic Le Boudoir Mode d’Ambre – Look at my Shoes set, the one in the middle of this pic is for sure, so check those out they are really cool, ok just looked up slurl and It is in my always thankful for section , but I’m getting invalid location, but Ambre Jun is the creator so tackle her for the place to see the poses.

The hair I am wearing is from Magika and is one of the recent releases from there called Nameless – the speed that those two girls create hair I’d run out of names too. How much are you loving these boots.

If brown isn’t your thing, lets go to the Cypa black Peonia shall we. I have been wearing the black as much as possible this past week, they are a delight and the ability to wear with just about anything rocks my world. In this case I went with an absolutely delightful dress again from AnnaH called Camila.

The gathered silk look of the bodice and then carried over to the incredible ballon skirt style dress bottom, this is such a sweet babydoll style dress, perfect for a night out or even a formal do, with the boots though it just adds to the fun of the style. What also adds fun is the bows at the back, those were a treat I didn’t realise were there until I turned and YAY how cute are they, I want this in a bazillion colours and I think there are only three, so I suggest getting those three and begging with me for more lol.

The Shamanic Necklace is by Uzuri, a great design and it comes in another colour too, but I went with the Monochrome for this look , so many wonderful and unusual designs at Uzuri that I have yet to show, but will very soon, but go look and beat me to it.

The hair is the Lucy hair by Magika again and another adorable Bow atop the crown of the hair, this is a really cute style as it seperates at the back to look like tails.

I honestly feel like I have already worn this outfit, again by AnnaH and it is the Ana Lu set, named after Ana Lutetia. While AnnaH was making it we were there every step of the way on Plurk and the pics in the store on the vendors are actually Ana herself.

A beautiful Cowl Neck sweater with an elastic belt look – I had that exact belt in the 80’s lol, finished off with wonderful pinstripe capris in black, the great thing is that the attachments for the pants don’t effect the boot tops as they are above the knee and use a different attachment point.

The black and red combination was perfect for the Cypa Aztec boots, they are a must have for all you red black fans. The hair is Zero from Magika a french twist style ponytail with lovely thick bangs.

Just a nibble of some of the other patterns you can get in the Cypa boots from Enkythings.

Aren’t they just divine, and seriously this is just a taste, there are more to see up close and personal.

Now about the skins, SLink just released Anya a more photo realistic skin with such beautiful and glamorous make ups, and not only is there Newness but a SALE on the Newness and everything else in the store.

You MUST Join the SLink update group in world, not the Subscribo, and when wearing your tag you need to pay full price for the item and then half will be paid back to you within moments. Make sure you are wearing the group tag at the time or it will not work.

First off the 5 wonderful tones in Anya – Bronze, Fair, Light, Pale and Tanned. I probably completely messed the order up then, but you will see which one you like best when you DEMO DEMO DEMO.

The make ups are shown on the Bronzed tone and this is most of them,not all. There are also freckled versions of some of the makeups. The lips are stunning and the eyeshadows are smokey and alluring.

The gloss effect to the lipstick is fantastic, giving you a moist rich look that wont wear off. The body is superb as usual with SLink skins and I have this thing about the knees, it’s such a strange thing to focus on I know, but I really like them in all of her skins. Again it is all about the DEMOS but dont take too long to decide because at Half Price you wont want to miss out.

The Lacy Lingerie is also from SLink and I am finally able to share it from the last time I went shopping there, I really like the panties on this set, having a distinct vintage look to them. Again at half price you will be shopping up a storm. The heels worn in the tones pic are also from Enkythings and are the Nana heels.

I keep saying I am behind, and I know I haven’t done the star signs for Dec yet :(, I will try and get those done today. First I wanted to share some items that gave me the chance to blend two very talented design houses together. They do their own blending, as the designers of both are huge fans of eachother, so without further delay todays post is predominantly Fleur and CKS Designs.

This past week saw the opening of a brand new Fleur, if you have been in world for more than 12 months this occasion always generates much oo’ing and ahh’ing. One thing that Fleur does astonishingly well is rebuild. I have to say though , that I wish like when Relic shut down the Opera House, Fleur would do the same and auction off their build for charity or something fun like bits and pieces as prizes for something lol, you see no matter how long or short a time a build exists in world, there are always many of us who find themselves very attached to them, and I still would love the ballroom that was built for the launching of the Spring line collab with Nicky Ree.

Who can forget that train station that they had two builds ago, that was just stunning. This new build is definitely more of a mix between old and new, and it has a real village square ambiance to it. I especially like the cinema advertising the next Divas Movie :).

Anyway, so my point was, that with the reopening there was a group gift – gosh it takes me a long time to get to the point 😐 , if you aren’t already a member of the Fleur group you should definitely consider joining as a way to live in a skin of such lovelyness for a while, and then go buy them all.

This is the Fleur Shoujo Da Ni Ban in Lotus, Lily and the NEW Tone Azalea. Azalea was a much requested slightly darker tone for the Shoujo series. So there was me jumping for joy and Lovin Life yesterday when I was trying on these wonderful Group Gifts, then followed by the New release items.

Lovin life is the NEW Poses set created by the adorable Newdoll Nikolaidis , her business name is Roodie Noodie and currently you can buy these poses at Philotic Energy thanks to the kindness of Aemilia Case, or on Onrez and Xstreet SL. Being an avid photographer Newdoll started making poses to give herself the oppurtunity to capture exactly what she wanted for a picture, a great way to start out, and there are more to come – after just recently reading the Da Vinci Code, I find it too hard not to giggle at the V behind the head.

The outfit I am wearing is the PJ Princess Pack by CKS Designs, Kit really needs to make a whole Jimmy Jamm collection, because she just loves running around the grid in her sleepwear and its infectious. Every girl should go to sleep and wake up feeling like a Princess and this is a great way to guarantee it, and the lovely floral motif on the side of the face of the Fleur gift skin will have you in a beautiful slumber.

The PJ Princess set has many colours to choose from, and mixing as I have done in these pics is just fun.

The hair I am wearing in this pic and the next, are the NEW releases from Dutch Touch. Now if you haven’t been to Dutch Touch in a while you really need to revisit, Iki has done some extensive remodeling also; opening her store right up to make shopping much easier. The landing point is now very open , giving you a chance to find your bearings and go in the direction you need.

This style is the PhYllie Messy2 a nice shoulder length style that has a layered effect framing the face, this is again one of those all rounder styles for ladies that like a natural look that doesn’t need much maintenance. From PJ’s to a business suit this style would be a keeper.

This is the Parker set by CKS, and I have to admit to being completely thrown by the name, but then realising that I was paying more attention to the sound of the name rather than the spelling *blushes*. In Australia we tend to elongate words, it was funny to see a texan picking on Newdoll the other night for her No, saying she adds about 5 extra letters when she says it, every since I have to agree we do do that – No becomes something like Noyuuu hell I can’t even spell it phonetically to give you an example lol.

Ok now that I got that out , reason was in Aus. a Parka is like a padded coat sometimes with hoodie, so you can now imagine my surprise at unpacking an outfit like this lol – Confesses that for a moment I thought Kit had lost her mind :P.

Definitely a sweet outfit, for days spent pottering outdoors, the checkered pants are adorable and coming in many colours again gives you a chance to mix them with other types of tops, but the darling Parker top is just that, a sweet use of a sculptie to make a flared top.

The outdoors pottering is what has lead to the soft blush to the cheeks, but really its the New Strawberry Trois Parfait 3 skin by Fleur. The mouth is just wonderful, the lips and the colour so ready for kissing, the healthy glow to the skin makes it so obvious why this is a favourite look by many. All Fleur skins as I have said many times in the past have a divine softness to them, especially on the body, so if you aren’t wanting an athletic or toned skin then Fleur; and a whole lot of DEMOS is in your future.

The hair is two variations Eefje and Lieke in the Sculpted Woolen Beanie, the variations that I notices I believe have more to do with the style of Beanie and its texture than the actual hair. Both by Dutch Touch, the hair itself has a rich and also very healthy thickness to it, heavy and straight, a layered cut like this one would definitely make people envious of those bangs, mine always parts down the middle RL so I gave up.

How cute are those Geta, I have this thing about Getas in world, I think it started because there didn’t seem to be many thongs when I started, thongs have become a love much later for me, I hated them growing up.

The Neko Geta are from Dirty Lynx and I did have to play a little with the sculpted base, but they are mod so that wasn’t difficult and it was only because I wanted them more as a chunky thong look than an actual traditional Geta style. These were really inexpensive and the texture and detailing is really wonderful – sorry I didn’t do a better close up but there are demos.

Lastly is Savoy, oh how I love thee. This beautiful ensemble comes again in stunning gem colours. I am showing Ruby, Amethyst and Sapphire, the top is finished off with the beautiful bow collar atop the sheer halter style neckline.

Then sliding slowly down the body, you get to the skirt with a sensational thigh split on one side, the options with the skirt are wonderful also, you not only get the normal height but also a jacket layer high waisted version, perfect for wearing with a multitude of other top combinations, I just recently wore it that way with the Essential Wrap Sweater also from CKS and it looked great. The dress also comes with stockings and suspenders which is definitely sexy and in theme with the era the combo represents.

The Fleur Da Ni Ban Azalea Shoujo 6 skin is another of the New releases, soft sensual lips with minimal lipstick in this make up option, but smoldering plum shadow, making the combination very effective. It also has a lightness across the eyes that reminds me of Soap Opera camera tricks in the 80’s where they would lighten the make up around the eyes and zoom in when wanting to show some high impact emotion ‘ But ThornRidgeBeau I love Yoooouuu ” see how that works *giggles*.

The Shoes I am wearing are the Dela Thaelle Pumps, these shoes are great to wear with the Savoy, with the seperate ribbons at the ankles matching the collar bow of the top. Also from Dela are the brand New Poses by Eitaro Igaly, the very talented sister of Kuranosuke Kamachi , both girls put so much effort into Dela and the poses again came from the desire to have poses that represented their products, poses are used in the second and third pics.

Hair left to right, Flapper from ETD a great take on the vintage style but with a definite moderm relaxed look, Nurse Bettie by Old Gravy definitely a Bettie Paige style that I have had for so long and love returning to, and Olive my favourite of this kind of style from Gurl 6, sleek and sexy this hair comes in a pack of three styles that are only in black.

Every time I go to write the date this week, I go to write 12 not 11; it’s crazy enough how fast time is flying without pushing it to go faster.

I adore Ponchos, I mean what’s not to love, they are warm and snuggly, but its more the mystery surrounding them I enjoy. Dela recently released the Sarah Poncho, and this stylish creation isn’t your one piece of fabric with hole kind of look, but a layered creation in a large range of beautiful colours.

Now the fun part, is that not only do you get the full Poncho look, with a sash like belt tie at the mid section, but because of the luxury of attachment points – and in this case it’s a bonus – you end up with varying looks from the one item.

Far left I have gone Sarah Poncho in black, the way it’s intended to look. But underneath we have the Kitties Lair Booty Call gold mini dress, and MAiiKI black leggings – from their strapless and patent set – this way it’s an ensemble with the intention of partying hard. Flip off the Poncho and you have a sexy dance the night away look.

Now in the middle I removed the mid section attachments, removed/didn’t wear, whichever you like. This gives it a slim waisted look, while keeping the large collar and full sleeves, a very fashionable style especially if you add a wonderful belt like the Jill Tank Top belt also from Dela. Adding the Wednesday set pants from Cachet, this is a powerful look, from boardroom to function and then boarding a plane to some retreat for the weekend.

The third look is a bit more dressy casual, again only wearing the collar and this time the lower portion of the sleeves, you get a very attractive look that can accompany some pants, in this incidence I opted for the Celestial Studios Suede pants in blue, you can’t see them really but they are there, and a really nice match to the blue in the Sarah Poncho.

Having a blonde moment, and not the usual kind, but just really enjoying the styles that I had in blondes. A revisit to an older style on the left is Riha from Mirai, now recently I moved older blog pics to flickr and saw this hair and went OMGosh I own that ? I am terrible with hair, its an addiction I have had since the begining, I used to buy hair every day and more than one, and often never wear anything but the last style purchased – see why I need to blog lol. But then often I wear a hairstyle in a post and it gets put away and like this occasion it’s like buying it all over again when I find it. Such a wonderful short spiky look, the kind of cut that straight out of the shower you can run your fingers through it and you’re done.

The next style is from Magika called Zoey, I have shown this before also, and it is actually a long ponytail style, but the way the sides and bangs are shaped it’s a great concave effect for this look, so even without the tail, this is a style that with such a collar really works.

Camilla is a NEW release from Diversity which as an updo is just GLAM, when I put the clothes together though I realised that this hair doesn’t have to only be formal, as there are many that would wear this kind of style in such a way – Plus I wanted to wear it lol. The cover pic is another New style from Diversity called Calista a beautiful braided surround style, that can go from Casual to Dressy easily also, very flower power to me, I love it.

The Stella shoes and Devon boots are also from Dela, so while you are getting your Sarah Poncho on you can check those out also. The skin I am wearing I have shown before, and with the mature look to these styles it was a no brainer, the Bijoux skin by SLink just has that air of style to it, so DEMO DEMO DEMO.

A night out can take on many different looks, whether it be high formal or just smart dressy you want to be prepared. These three dresses actually remind me of things, and memories are always good.

This one actually reminds me of my best friends mum, don’t laugh that woman had a killer wardrobe. One thing she was really into and could actually carry off what animal print, the woman looked like Tina Turner with more tude, the woman was a cracker.

The Zebre Accent dress is not something to wear lightly, a mix of animal print in this gown/dress is definitely an entrance maker. I really like how the creator behind the label WigWamBam really likes to make a splash with prints. The lightning bolt effect running up the middle of the dress and finishing with a one strap look is daring and fun.

Also daring and fun is the SiREN-Amber-CHASKA skin from The Obscene, this was actually a give away skin earlier this week at Crush Row, not too sure if it is in fact still available but definitely go check. I have been finding excuses to change back into it over and over again all week. Definitely dramatic, The Obscene skins that I have seen are very noteworthy, the highlighting is very adventurous and there are some splendid makeups for different dressy looks, DEMOS DEMOS DEMOS.

Zoey is the name of this wonderful hair from Philotic Energy, the style is a razor cut, with loose tendrils falling at one side, the tendrils are fab, as there are three to play with, for all those fidgety people braids and twirling and if you can reach and pull, some definite sucking action- cant wait to see how often that comes up in keyword search terms lol.

I really adore the tendrils and the overall spikey shag look of this style, but one of my other favourite features is the back, underneath close to the neck is the short close cropped hair, done in such a way as to look very natural, sculpted and textured really well, me likey a lot.

This is Sasha, an evening dress by SySy Designs. Now this reminds me of another person who used to wear shrugs and cardigans over everything, now sometimes it worked and most times it didn’t, this is one of the good working times.

Where I used to work in Phils Place I had a very different clientelle, many of the women were professionals wanting business suits and what not, and I used to have to really explain the necessity of having some good evening wear, or they would come in looking for such things after at that time – this was 1.5 years ago – not finding anything with a mature sensible feel to it.

I definitely think Sasha is that kind of dress, its very pretty and depending on the accessories, shoes etc, could be killer sexy, but if not in the mood to let your freak flag fly , then this potentially covers that need. Very sweet and with the Alicia Heels in black from Adam n Eve you have a winning combination.

Now seeing as I like being a bit freaky at 3am, I went with the LionSkins SUZANA-pale 82 skin, this skin has stunning eye make up, but with a subtle lip colour and overall make up look. Just peeking out from beneath the fantastic bangs of the Nico hair from Maitreya , whether it be a work do , or a potential networking occasion, this look gives you the ability to settle in and feel your way around, then when you know it’s time to let the hair down, off with the lovely lace crop and dancing on tables till dawn is the next step.

Now this look was huge in the mid 80’s, the tuxedo gown look, a few girls at my formal went that route. The Elegance dress from Second Wave Apparel does actually have a collar part but I opted for the Pearls. The Jewelry set is the Tahition Pearls set from Primagine, beautiful pieces by Trixie Bumbo…I really adore the strand/choker combination with the knot of the pearls wrapped around a diamond brooch like disc, very effective work.

The Elegance dress is a mid length pleated satin combo, with a great big bow cinching it all in at the waist, my other favourite feature is its dipped back, allowing for the innocent batting of lashes and the accepting of a mans dinner coat to keep away the chill – seriously its a great way to acquire tux coats *grins*. The long gloves come with the dress and are a great addition to the look, also great for copying to your gloves folder when you need some like this.

With the Peta hairStyle from MMS still keeping the shoulders bare, I really like this semi pulled through loose bun look, but seriously what was with us, how did that become a trend, its not like we didnt pull through ponytails a billion times a day, and not one of us thought to stop pulling until the 90’s, that boggles my mind, and I have wanted to get that off my chest for many years lol.

Another fav feature is the loose strands across the top, again done with a alpha texture look, to make it appear that some stray wisps got loose, without using full prims to do it, bravo, hair creators lately are getting trickier and trickier.

I was having fun with my out there skins mood today, so with this look I went with the Blessed It’s My Party skin from Pulse. I would think at one time or another we have all done it, the crying at some event or party, and the mascara running blah blah , or well if you are old enough , before waterproof mascara and dancing in a crowded smoke filled club, you always ended up with panda eyes, so this make up works for both fun looks lol.

The shoes are from Hoorenbeek,and it is their first foray into womens shoes. They come with so many features, you get to choose bow on or off, strap on or off, what kind of texture you want, whether pantent, croc, zebra, leather, different heels than shoes and so on, it’s fun trying all the variations, so give the demos a whirl.

A whole lot of TRUTH

Truth has been creating like a man possessed lately, I have had things backing up so much that I just couldn’t put it off any longer. One of my favourite things is the Xanadu leggings, they are vibrant and shiny and so perfectly named…mind you I wish I could stop repeating one line from the song over and over in my head for the last 3 hours.

Worn in this picture with the also stunning Asymetrical Pleat top, this top has so many distinguishing features. The cute little bow neck tie holds the top in place, and its just so delicate and sweet. The pleated black panel coming up over one side is a really nice touch with the black lace underlayer on the flared bottom to this top. As it also comes with its own panties it is possible to wear it as a mini dress and I am sure many will, but worn over the Xanadu Leggings its glamorous and stylish, and the colour contrast works really well with the options available, of course you can just opt for the black.

As you can see I also chose to wear it without the skirt attachment, as the style works so well as just a fitted top, and gives you the chance to see the fabulous detailing in the tops of the pants, they look tight and body hugging, just as they should.

As you can see I wore them again, and again and again tonight. This is the Shanghai Dress, strapless with really pretty art work on the sides and a gathered effect down the length of the dress. That look reminds me of the 80’s – so much does this decade, it seems every 20 years we repeat, 90’s was about the 70’s and so on – reason being that so many dresses in the 80’s had this look, but it was usually up the sides.

Definitely a frock this one, as the colours and style are just so girly girl, the addition of the texture change belt is wonderful and if you like playing with colour combos this gives you that advantage. Sweet and twirly and perfect for the warmer days we are in the middle of right now down here, but as every day in Phils Place can be filled with sunshine this style will never need to be packed away for a season.

I really like this top on its own as well, again with the Xanadu leggings, and I got creative and pulled apart one of the skirts, but silly me forgot to change the texture first so it stayed pink once I made it just a belt, so if you are going to do that make sure you change the belt to the colour you want first lol. Even without the belt its a fun look, and Truth told me that belts are in the near future – YAY.

Now with both looks I am wearing the Savanna Florette Pumps, the latest shoes from TRUTH that are so sweet and definitely 80’s hands down, it was all about adding things to the toe area of shoes back then and the silly things would fall off in the middle of a night out, but just one, so you ended up looking strange if you weren’t sober enough to realise – I didn’t drink so my shoes were perfect lol.

My favourite part to the florettes are that they actually look like leather pieces turned into a flower, so definitely a crafted kind of look, these are just a few of the colours available.

The Spy coat is another item you can wear with pants, or in this case the leggings, or without as a dress. I am all about that zipper and the collar in this one, it’s a great effect and has been done very well. Again the belts in this are texture change, but I did mod tint both in edit just to get a closer colour to the leggings worn – I am getting way better at that.

So whether roleplaying a spy character or just wanting to look all stylish and well put together, this coat wont let you down. I am wearing them with the Huntress boots also from TRUTH in the midnight, I really want them in lots of other colours, especially the ones he does his belts in lol.

Now pretty much everything in this post is from TRUTH – except the Essentia Hair Roses – so that is going to make shopping way easy today. The skins I am wearing are the Rejuvenate skins, in Orchid,Viper and Mandarin in the Kashmir tone, beautiful skins with such lovely lips and eyeshadows. Also all of the lovely hair from TRUTH are Morgan, Hallie, Ruby, Polly, Nikhita 2 and Emma not in that order I don’t think, but when you get to the demos you will work it out :).

Definitely go and grab the Xanadu leggings, they are going to be great for mixing and matching this season and well into the others, also I have to point out that the sculpted cuffs are just adorable and with minimal effort fit over the heel of your shoes which looks great. Mind you Truth doesn’t get forgiven for no grey or silver :P.

RIDDLE

I got completely mixed up on the date yesterday, first post was my 19th as it was before midnight, but the second was definitely the 20th, so it will seem like I skipped a day, but I really need to keep to aussie time for sanity sake.
Lets get to it shall we, RIDDLE as I have blogged in the past has some really wonderful casual and fun items in the store, I have had some items for a few weeks now and realised that RIDDLE Is in the middle of a SALE. So not only did I take pics of what I had, but I went over and grabbed more, and I am so glad I did, the items I hadn’t seen before have made me very very happy indeed.

Lets start with the items I already had. From the Every Day Denim selections there are different varieties of Dark denim. With each set you get jeans,cargo’s and shorts. So I decided to show you three of the styles in those three options.

Left we have the Oil Stains Jeans, beautiful dark denim with sculpted semi flared pants legs. Then we have the Dark Blue which is just a simple dark in the cargo style with again sculpted cuffs with a nice clean folded and scrunched effect. Lastly the Paint Splatter shorts version, which are kind of long shorts which is very nifty, I really like that the paintsplatters are in shades of blue, giving it a more arty look than messy.

Around the waist of the denim I am wearing the lovely sculpted Nirvana Bead Belts from Studio Sidhe, Faery Sola has been doing some divine and playful pieces with sculpties lately and they are all so in keeping with her Fae ways.

The tops I am wearing are also from RIDDLE, as are all the clothes today. They are called the Smexy Shoulders tops, and they are snuggly, sexy and just plain adorable. I think this style is very cool, reminds me of the 80’s when it wasn’t cool unless you took the scissors to it. The long sleeves which just defy gravity, as an addition to the perfectly fitted tube top are just great, but I really like the cheeky white straps factor, this is all one item but you do get to wear them on all layers – just not as seperate pieces, which would be fabulous in the future as an option.

I adore knits, doesn’t matter what time of the year it is, and as you know already or should, I am a grey lover, big time, but I am jumping ahead, so lets go to my head instead. I went a bit crazy at MMS yesterday, it seems somehow I missed one or two hair releases, which is a catastrophic to me, but I sure made up for it.

This hair is Messy by name and nature, a short shaggy look which is great for casual days or crazy nights. I really like not only the straight cut style, but also the stray curls just poking out from under, as though its more of a style growing back than just perfectly coiffed. The other thing about Messy is that its an older style, again how I missed it I don’t know – I see the hair on Thora or Minnu in ads and sometimes in person and it’s always coming soon, and then it comes and I miss it lol – but my point was that because its older, for some reason its priced lower than the newer styles, all the hair on the second floor at MMS are reduced, so make sure you cam up while you are there, or be a daredevil and take the stairs.

Now about those shoes. *slips in some more pics*

Last week I logged in to a big surprise, an IM from Zoey Pinkdot of Digital Dragon Designs telling me that her and Ninja had named some shoes after me. I was honored to have such talented creators think of me when naming these wonderful shoes, the Sasy Stilleto’s are just gorgeous.

The textures are just beautiful, and the colours are spot on delightful. What I love the most other than the honor of course, is that they totally nailed my style, I am tall in RL but have always worn heels, the higher the better, but one style I particularly love is the built up platform front with the high heel, giving the illusion of an arch but with the stability of actually being very firm footed as you aren’t really extending the foot much at all. That kind of style allows for many many hours on the dance floor and those torturous walks home at 3am because you can’t find a cab to save your life as its change over time.

So thank you to both Zoey and Ninja for the honor and the style- I am so in lust with that beige, and I forgive you for no grey :P.

Speaking of grey.

OMG could they be more heavenly. These are the items that I got last night, and the added bonus of them being on SALE made my night. The SALE at RIDDLE ends on the 23rd by the way, so do not miss out. These are the Skully Argyle sweater dresses, more fantastic knits and I am going to beg here for these without skulls in the future if possible.

The fat pack price of these on sale is a steal so if you love grey and love argyle then thats the pack for you. The sculpted collar is just wonderfully shaped supporting the neckline, and the actual knit in the skirt is just fantastic , but just as I was about to leave, out of the corner of my eye I spotted something so incredible, it’s a MUST HAVE ! – KIT OMG you have to get these.

Not only are the combinations of the dresses already just perfect, but the Cable Knit Stocking set thats just to the left in the corner of the store are TO DIE FOR !. Not only do you get the thigh highs, the full tights and the knee socks in this amazing knit, but they are TINTABLE!, seriously could they get any better?.

I honestly dont think I have seen any like this before, and if there are some out there then I hate that I missed out, but I am so loving the ones from RIDDLE they are just superb.

The hair I am wearing with the Skully Argyles is Lisa, also from MMS and just lovely, straight fronted with loose corkscrew curls buried underneath to give it some body, as you may have noticed I am a bit of a fan of the red pack at MMS – they use the same heavenly textures as Maitreya so that just makes choosing so easy.

Lastly we have some swimwear from RIDDLE. Always fun to have a bikini boardies combo, you never know when you might want to duck up to the shops for a cornetto, I used to do the markets near a busy beach and I swear to goodness people, if you have to cross a road you need to cover up, there is nothing more damaging to my brain than budgie smugglers first thing on a sunday, unless of course they are on our life savers, then all is forgiven – but alas they never are.

This is the Hawaiian Hottie set in blue, as you can see you get both options, the bikini bottoms with their fab string ties effect, as well as the short boardies. The added bonus to this set is that it comes with the thongs – those things on my feet – every aussie needs thongs and when they come all included in your swimsuit set well its just extra fab. The ability to just wear folder and trudge down to the beach, has me happy.

Other things that make me happy are this last hair style called Tate, Newdoll was wearing this last week and thats what led me to realise that I missed out on hair releases, I just didn’t realise how many. This ribbon/leather strapping hippie look hair is just perfect for lazy days by the beach, correction ; this hair is just perfect for anything you want to do lol.

Now about the skins, all the skins shown today are from Pulse, as I have explained in the past with the Pulse skins you get three options of overall skin look, as well as two down there options -both shaved – and eyebrows in blonde, black, brown. I have never bothered with the other colour brows in the past , but today on the cover pic I went with the blonde and it really is amazing what a difference it makes.

Reason for me to always have dark brows when wearing blonde hair, is that to me I’m dyeing it, my hair in RL is dark to red tones, and so even if I did go blonde I’d leave my brows their natural colour, but I totally get how you might want them to be your natural colour, so the choices are there.

Now as you can see also I have opted for the Beach look in the Blessed Pleasure Skin for the last pic, I love the Beach option, giving you that lotion look without losing layers. You can say what you like about Oil and Lotion you don’t have to wear it, but many do and enjoy the difference it makes to a look, so with skins from Pulse you get that and the Radiance and the Natural choices to play with.

With the top picture I am wearing Blessed Desire and the Skully Argyle is Blessed Emotion, all such gorgeous skins with divine makeup and sensational shading. The soft blush on all three’s cheeks is also something I think is just lovely in the Blessed from Pulse range and there are so many more make ups to choose from, so DEMO DEMO DEMO.

Make sure too if you are a MMS hair fan and you haven’t seen a release notice lately that you go check them out, don’t be like me and miss out for weeks on fantastic hair.

Back to School

I came across some sad news as I was logging in today, a much loved designer is having to close up shop. This does not mean her items will no longer be for sale, but due to economic reasons she has decided that closing her in world location is the best way to stay creative. Thank goodness we have alternatives to land, or we would lose so much talent otherwise.
The store is Ashia Designs, by Ashia Tomsen. You will also know her as the ever enthusiastic blogger over at Freesyle. Everyday she spends hours putting together wonderful finds for us all to ooo and ahhh over, as well as running her business and working RL. Her message to her group was totally heartfelt and I hate to see her have to pack up, but thank goodness she isn’t leaving us altogether that would be too heartbreaking.

So as you can see, everyone will benefit from this situation, as from now until the date set, all the skins in her store are drastically reduced to 100L each and many of those come with freckles options as well. I went over as soon as I logged in to find a store full of people and grabbed some skins I didn’t already own. Two of which I am showing today.

The skins are the Cat Beige 2 and Bare Green 1, both come with freckles options- not shown. There are many reasons to adore these skins, one of my favourite parts is the collarbone and chest area, and I don’t mean the breasts themselves – even though they are fab, but more to do with the breast bone area, as its incredibly featured in this skin, you will be able to see that better in the next pic.

Other details I really like, are the mouth and eyes, it’s a very expressive face, and if you are into fantasy skins you will have to check out all of those too, I got some drow skins that are aces. DEMO DEMO DEMO at 100L each you would hate to miss out.

Ashia like moi lives in Aus, and down here right now is manic school time, I mean crazy stuff goes on for the next 4-6 weeks roughly – depends on if you are a private or not. But it is exam time and formals for the high schoolers, and not to mention the insane schoolies week up top. The weather is getting hotter too, which makes for irritability all around.

So as I had these two deliscious sets from CKS Designs in my waiting to blog folder, I thought that now was the perfect time to show them. This first set is the Old School set, I have been hording this forever and as soon as it was released I ran around like crazy so excited. First reason was because Kit was back in form, the other is because the skirt has the pantyless option WOOOHOOO!, no I don’t run around the grid pantyless, but I do like the option to actually wear panties with a skirt – yes I have gone into detail about this before so I will save you the rant.

Now if you haven’t shopped at CKS Designs before – WHY NOT? – you will be surprised at how much you get in a set , no seriously the girl is a layer magician. She makes layers you don’t even know exist. Let me try and explain, A shirt from CKS means that not only will you get it on every top layer, but you will also get the bottom of said shirt on both pants layers. For a skirt you will get the option of just the band of the skirt – in the case of this set I am speaking – on the pants, underpants and jacket layer, the band of the skirt with underpants included so that it looks like you have on seperate panties, and those will be on both pants layers, and lets not even go into how she does her socks:P. The girl is a marvel, and no not the comic.

With the Old School set though , she went above and beyond. You see unknown to me, until today, there was a seperate bag inside the already huge set. Each Old School set comes with double colour combo as shown. So there I was snapping away and went to wear a second set and all of a sudden I was wearing a bag, now usually I keep bags, but as CKS items are transfer I don’t usually, so I thought that this was odd, and why does it have a different name? so dragging it to the ground I realised that there was a second sweater option, and not just a regular sweater but a fabulous Letter Sweater – goes all American Love on you all.

We don’t do all that here – sobs – and I grew up wanting a lettermans jacket so badly as a teen. But again back to layers, she didnt just make this wearable as its own sweater, oh no that would be too normal :P, she made the jacket layers the armbands and letter so that you have the option of wearing it with the shirt layer with scooped neck ORRRRRRRRRRR wearing it over the top of the adorable turtleneck. One for each letter, I was so excited and snapped away wearing my S proudly.

Then I realised OMG I am doing this wrong, Growing up watching all the jock movies I know I am supposed to be wearing my partners letter, so even more excited and proud I was to put on the M, YAY Kit I loves you ♥ .

So the set comes with two skirts, two turtlenecks, a bunch of socks, white panties, because if you are going to bounce around you have to have your cottons on. Super sexy shorts in both colour combo’s ANDDD the lettermans sweater layers as well as scoop neck shirt. I would count the items this all involves but I don’t think I can – by the way Kit, tell Jim I think I’m winning :P.

With the pics, I wanted to wear hair in keeping with the look. These first three are from Magika, the first being a group gift – they give hair out all the time. It is called Connect, and as it wasn’t boxed but I wasn’t aware of that at the time, I dragged it to the floor to unpack to be green texted with the new copybot system, that also deletes it immediatly, scared the hell out of me…I certainly hope it does the same to thieves because now it will have my name in a data base for tracking. If this is something that you would like for your hair maybe contact Sabina Gully to find out how to go about it, don’t rez the hair lol.

Connect is a great swept back bangs style, with braided pigtails, the second hairstyle is Kewl, again pigtails but very long and with double ties, thirdly we have Zoey, this one is a side back pony which is so cute, because from the front you look like you have short razor cut hair, it’s like two looks in one.

The shoes I am wearing with these pics are the J’s Sneaker P.E’s so many great colours in these to choose from and all of them went so well with the Old School sets. I keep meaning to find out what the PE stands for as down here we actually call school sport PE for Physical Education, but I wasn’t sure others did that too?.

The next set is the Studen Body set, a mix of plaid and argyle which Kit loves and I am so glad she has returned to making, as she has such fun with it. Again many many layers make up this set, not as many as the other, but still a lot. The great thing with this one is not just the fabulous prints and overall style of the set, but also the ability to use each seperate as just that. It would be so easy to find other alternatives to utilise these pieces. The low scoop of the polo top would make it very fitting with a great pair of slacks or jeans, and I adore the ever so little skirts, their bold print makes them eyecatching – or is that the length that does that. Regardless any sort of top option would be an added look to the mix.

My other love and thankfully an addiction of Kits, so I am hoping we see so many more, is the socks, now the socks in the first set are just fab, but this set the not so knee highs are Tasssssssssssssty. I am wearing them with the Diva heels from Tesla which I love and they also had the right colours to go with these sets YAY.

The hair i am wearing is NEW from HCT , and is called Pearl, it’s so sweet but so booksmart looking I thought it was appropriate too, especially when teamed up with the SMP glasses from booN. HCT has added a new pack to its textures called Foxy , so if you haven’t been over in a while, you should check that out.

Now for some Eyes, Treasured Vision by Malkavyn Eldritch. Malkavyn is part owner of the Magic of Oz sim, if you haven’t been – WHY NOT? – lol. He makes all of his eyes by hand and the outcome is fantastic, many many layers of work goes into handdrawing these eyes, and the ones shown are some of his favourites in the Flecks series. They come in large and small, I am wearing the small. A beautiful assortment of colours and I really like how they are named very appropriately as you see such wonderful flecks of light in the eyes.
