Aranel Ah of BOOM added an adorable picture to her flickr this week, but it came with a heartfelt message. She was kind enough to send me the info in world, and today Whimsy and I went to do what we could to help. I sincerely hope that you can take the time before this event is over to either do some shopping – with all sales going 100% to the fundraiser, or donate what you can, even 1L will help. The people that have organised this event are going to match dollar for dollar USD up to 5000 Dollars which is INCREDIBLE and so appreciated by all. As you are probably aware by now, the southern Philippines has been hit by a severe flood, claiming nearly 1000 lives, with tens of thousands in evacuation centres and hundreds of thousands otherwise affected by the floods. During this holiday season Dream Seeker Estates is focusing its attention on helping the victims of the Philippines flood disaster. Some of our Second Life neighbours, the people you rely on for help when your sim is laggy, as well as a member of our staff have been directly affected by this disaster. We are organizing a series of charity events between Dec 21 and Dec 26 and will be matching all donations up to $5000 USD. Please help spread the word!
