Time is Fleeting
Everyone is feeling that things are just whizzing past right? it isn’t just me. That being said, I still do the oddest things, like instead of watching a show or movie, I open up Youtube Shorts and 2 hours will go past at what seems like a blink, but mathematically it means that I have just watched on average at least 300 shorts, based on the concept of not watching every single one to completion, and just skipping past some within seconds. That is way too much intake in two hours, and it is just horrible, but it is definitely addictive. A lot can be said for the less is more factor though, taking in a lot more information, in shorter bursts, there are times that some of these videos teach me something, I feel lucky to have seen it etc. Sometimes they are reminders of things you forget, especially when it comes to shorts on software, quick blender tips, short photoshop tutorials, things like that. Snippets that make you wonder why you pay 190+ dollars a year for a product that you barely use, and only use about 10% of it even when you do…sorry my subscription is due next month, I am a bit ragey at myself.
There are many discussions about waste, fast fashion is often thrown about, how stores waste perfectly good food and so on. There are definitely other huge wastes that we participate in, wasting time is just the one that seems to hit home more often, especially with Social Media…I spent years never really going near it, other than to post my blog posts and run, I enjoyed my time with my friends in world, in skype calls and I liked it like that, it also meant you could stay away from drama, as was often a daily thing in some of them. That has faded away in a huge way though in the past few years, so it hasn’t been so eeek, argh, run, and more oh I like what this person has to say, oh look at that, and the peppering of RL content in there, reels and the like, mean that I can also lose time and unfortunately focus by going to do something for a moment and realising I just spent an hour scrolling stuff. I feel that the constant scrolling, the constant short form content and the bits and pieces of way too much going on has broken my brain. That is why this graphic cami top by The Kiwi Co. resonated with me so much…that and the fact that it was one of the few that was not being naughty. I can just imagine how hilarious it was compiling the options, and making the HUD, absolutely tickled is my guess. Also from The Kiwi Co. these boots are made for all sorts of things, not just walking…So many colour options and the special inlaid two tone option in black and beige had me very pleased. I had mentioned a few weeks ago, buying the Yui set by Orphic and how the shorts were a tad ‘oh my’ at the back, well I decided that if I was going all graphic, I may as well really be graphic, even if it was just on my own studio platform. They look so innocent from the front, and they really are not that bad, I am over exaggerating, but they did surprise me that first demo, they also have a great assortment of colours in the pack. Trying to keep my thoughts in check, I went with the Artist Tablet by Stoic, another thing in RL that I have spent way too much on over the years, I think my current tablet is my third, and the only time I ever use it is when fixing hair if there is some kind of alpha situation from lashes or something, honestly it is not easy being a banana – that is what Mel says to me when I say some of the things I say or do ‘ well it is not easy being a banana’ he is not wrong. Adding a bit of colour to the very black and white look of it all, this awesome ombre black to pastel pink texture option in the Truth hair Pillow was perfect, I love the lose waves of this style, and of course the behind the shoulders option, which allows me to show off the great country themed style of this necklace by Sigma.

For Whom the Bell Sleeves Toll
“Everything old is new to someone’ has always been my creed, when it comes to buying power in Second Life. That and ‘Everyone deserves their sexy school girl/bling shoes moment’. It does not matter if you joined Second Life if 2006 or earlier, or you walked in yesterday, the things that excite you do not have a lot to do with a release date. We discuss making it clearer in Marketplace in the Web User group meeting all the time, the idea of putting the date on things – they have added a date system of sorts, but it is not functioning correctly, so currently it is a bit more ‘ignore that thing’ than actually helpful. There are so many sides to the need for this, and also a good case for it causing more harm than good.
You have people like me that strongly lean into what we like, not when it was made, but then you also have those that have no concept of history in Second Life creation and can unfortunately fall into the trap of purchasing items that have no use to them in todays mesh climate – bodies, sizing, uv layouts etc. I cannot tell you how many times I have personally had to explain to a newer Resident, that what they just purchased is actually no use to them at all, and they cannot wear it. Whether it be incorrect skin types, system layer skirts – which do not work with mesh bodies even with bom (fun fact, by making sure that was still the case with the system skirts I found a bug that made me crash 3 times, there are so many behind the scenes things that happen when blogging) and things like Sculpties that are of course not rigged and will move independently of the way our mesh bodies move with our skeleton now…all of these things are horrible for newer people to wrap their heads around, on top of all the other things, so its a tick for putting dates on things in those cases. Then on the other side you have people like me as mentioned, that love exploring older items, and do not want everyone to decide that newer is better, which would kill the income of some incredible creators, who have items that very much do work with the current bodies etc, but may have a 3 or 7 year creation date on them, so people think its ‘old’ and yes, you can see how this gets debated often.
We have had resident created mesh bodies for 11 years now, and resident created mesh for 15, which means we have had these incredible options for far longer than we didn’t, which is funny to think about, because the years before it dragged on forever…we only had sculpties for about 3 years, there was of course overlap, but stand alone closer to 2.5.
Add to that the debate on older items no longer actually supported by creators, people that have left Second Life, but left their products active, they may still collect their income, but do not log in and have an actual presence or any kind of customer support, so you buy it, it is broken, or you do not understand how to use it, and you are out of luck, no one is ever going to reply to your IM (instant message – another thing that you realise when dealing with newer Residents, is that people outside of Second Life do not call them Instant Messages, so IM’s is absolute gibberish to them). There are also creators not collecting the money, they just left Second Life and did not look in the rear view mirror at all, now unfortunately this can also be because they are no longer with us in Second Life or Real Life and that is a horrible thing, but those items are still there, and we are often wondering what happens to that money just piling up. This topic has caused a few meeting flare ups, because we are more aware over time, that we as a platform are being held back by older items and the want/desire for them long after their creators are gone – however that has happened. This brings me back full circle to the everything old is new to someone but also leans into the, sometimes the thing we love is wanted on all accounts and also wanted as an item to share with others, through gifting etc, so the idea that one day we may not be able to send a newer account the _________ is a terrifying thing. Back in the day every time Whimsy made a new account she ran off and bought a particular pair of shoes, did not matter how much time had passed, those shoes were her base love affair with footwear, so every account had to have them, those shoes no longer exist, it happens, we have all experienced stores actually closing down and their items not being available, but when it comes to marketplace we seem to be holding on for dear life, probably because it feels like we do have that control. Interesting ramble I went on there.
This actually came about because while I was having my blogging break – unplanned – a few items were released that I really liked, but at different times, and I was musing over the fact that if I had blogged them the instant that they had been released, then this look would not have happened so easily, it was lovely to be able to just love the look, see the hair, want the hair to be an idea, then see the top and realise what better top, and then to find the pants and be supremely pleased with the outcome, then on top of that, be able to find footwear that fit under the pants and had a colour in the same family – always a golden moment. So again, it does not matter when an item was made, it is about how much you enjoy the item, the other stuff for some of us is noise, but it does make me hmmm over the idea that there has to be a better way for people to understand without help that it is not the right purchase for their other needs, the look might be right, but it is a system layer not mesh, or it has sculpt parts or all of those other things that at the time of listing were not a need…that then brings about the review options, but that is a whole other blog post.
This hair is by Truth Collective creator Litterbug Salon, as soon as I saw it I was really impressed with its 1960’s Mod vibe, I especially loved the cutouts with their metal rim, that is not an easy thing to do with mesh, it is tricky, I have tried. There are options to colour change the band, with the hud and there are many colours to choose from, as well as a tinting option – which I used – then you have the metals, and I went for the warmer gold look today. Then to Lamb, for this amazing tied crop top, with amazing sleeves that have options of closed, which I am wearing, or open which has them very flared and elongated, or the off, and the off is absolutely an interesting idea, as it cuts out the flared sleeve entirely, which gives you a less themed look, which is an awesome thing to do. Sometimes you want to be able to wear your clothing in various ways, and this top gives you those options. Also a quick tint to one of my Nuve bras – never leave home without it – and I was matchy matchy.
There were pants that went with the Groupie set from Lamb, but I love to spread the joy, as we know, and I do love a great Cynful moment and she delivered. These pants come in either solids or floral versions, with a sheer overlay, there are so many features seriously, it is a great pair of pants. I turned off the overlap, because while I was going for that Mod look, it was just a bit too clubby with the overlay vs me just being an out and about look that was highly curated for a moment, living my best 60’s life – cue a montage scene similar to Notting Hill but in a different decade. Simple accessories, stylish and elegant with the necklace from Sigma and my go to hoops by Dark Mouse, I am ready to strut through London.

Hair Fair 2026 – Truth Collective – Litterbug
I mentioned the other day that I celebrated my 20th anniversary in Second Life last month. It is honestly pretty amazing when you consider, I originally came here just to salsa dance one time. Instead, I ended up modelling for a store on my very first day, started working at a region with a mall on my second, and Second Life just completely took over my life.
Over the last two decades, I have been aware of people raising full families. I’ve heard children playing in the background of voice calls, and been part of endless conversations about schools, first boyfriends or girlfriends, and all sorts of major life happenings. For years, I waited for Whimsy’s kids to finally get old enough to join us for one massive shopping extravaganza, only for them to be completely over the idea by the time they reached the right age. They wouldn’t even give us a sympathy log-in, how rude.
Then along comes Litterbug. As the daughter of Truth Hawks, she has been surrounded by content creation her entire life, and now she is taking on hair making as if it were written directly into her DNA. She probably knew what a vertex was before she even learned that I goes before E, except after C. She is absolutely lovely to talk to, and she’s taking this “born into it” TRUTH fanbase completely in her stride. I honestly love to see it, because if I had been born into a hair dynasty, I would be putting the K in Kardashian—I have no real idea what that means, but it certainly sounded oooo ahhhh in my head.
So, instead of what is going on in my head, let’s talk about what is on my head. This is Mochi, and she is absolutely adorable. It is a mid-length style with cute “bun-buns” that just pops. It features slender ribbons with heaps of texture options, including some incredibly fun polka dots. You can also tint the ribbons – which I did to match my dress – or turn them off entirely. The style portion of the HUD gives you plenty of versatility, with options for fuller bangs, delicate tendrils, or no bangs at all. At first glance, the hair seems youthful and fun, and it is! But when you pair it with the right clothing and the perfect colour (this vibrant red is a whole mood today), it shifts the look entirely, giving off a beautiful, sophisticated vixen vibe. I went back to the AlaskaMetro brows, and another thing I love about Bakes on Mesh is that you can stack, so I actually went with two layers of the brows to get what seemed like a closer look to the hair colour. I am also wearing a hairbase by Martyr called Mel that is also at Hair Fair, and I love it so much and tinted it to match the hair. Perfect tint first go, I am skilled, it is mostly the side areas that it is visible.
Hair Fair is open until June 14th and ALL purchases made at the event donate to Wigs for Kids, Exclusives and previous releases. Not all stores have previous releases out, but so many do, so it gives you a real taste of what the stores have created over time, and some things you may have missed that donate with each purchase, a great way to get it all in at once.

When you have been a Blogger as long as I have, you have seen so many items come out of long standing stores in Second Life. Today I was able to mix and match newer releases with recent-ish releases, and some releases that I am not sure if they even exist anywhere for purchase but are by the same creator. That is the joy of Blogging though, styling a look together is not meant to always encourage someone to run out and buy it all and replicate what you did – mind you, if you want to do that go ahead – but more to inspire someone to go out and shop for elements they may not have, and then to remember components that they may already own in their inventory, to then use in a way that maybe they had not thought of in the past.
Ison is one such brand, they have been around so long now, that it is hard to really remember a time we didn’t have them. I for one am glad we do, because Harry is such a lovely creator, and has such classic staple style, that as you evolve fashionably in Second Life he is there to guide that growth. I went to Collabor88 to grab this gorgeous cardigan and tank top from Ison, and they come in all the gorgeous packs that Ison is known for, I look forward to wearing each piece in many other ways in future. Their colour palettes are always so pleasing. Adding some accessories that are much older. The bag I was able to size down and the glasses are still perfect, with a colour hud that worked out so well with my look. I am and have always been – not that this is even news to anyone – a colour co-ordination addict. I cannot help it, I am that kind of person. So the mix of red, black and gold came up a treat for this look – we will ignore the fact that the bag has silver metal, sometimes you just have to go with what you have. It all paired up nicely with the high waisted jeans by Rowne.
This hairstyle by TRUTH was also just perfect for this strolling around the city look. I really like the smoothed upper to the soft cascading waves look to it, then being able to pair it up with accessories like a headband or even just resting sunnies atop your head, whatever works, it is fun.

I do so love fun names for things, and the Gothy Mothy had me captured, the fact that the set is just so fun is besides the point, the name grabbed me first. I am just wearing the wings part of the set, there are antenna and eye coverings that are all texture change and animesh and just all sorts of fun to be had. Gave me a reason to put on my Baby Goth makeup by AlaskaMetro, as you know I do not need an excuse really for that, but how cute does it all look together, and can we applaud these horns by Celesticat, more HUDs of awesome, and the texture work is just fantastic. Inspired me to colour my hair, with this lovely TRUTH style called Angel, and well they wear wings right. I especially like this half updo style, because instead of a band around the pulled back hair, it is hair wrapped around hair, and I often use my hair to tie back my hair, I did it today actually, you have to do what you have to do when all your hair elastics turn into wire coat hangers.

Hair Fair 2024 – Truth Sparkle Skye
I knew as soon as I saw this adorable fascinator hat by Sparkle Skye, what I was going to wear it with. Then the whole look came together, and when you have an inventory like mine, it is no wonder you have street lights just laying around for prop use – mind you they are also the same street lights I used at Hair Fair, so that tracks. I loved the idea of a dapper look, with the fascinator being so girly and feminine, I wanted to even out the scales there and add a bit of masculine to the look. Then it turned into a whole singing in the rain kind of vibe, and what better hair to pull that off with than the Breeze style by Truth.
What I like most about this hair, is that with the settings options for style, you can tame it down or really lean into the wind. Lucky my Kaori Mini Hat is well pinned on. Again I am playing around with the lovely colour options of this style, actually adding the streaks option for the soft greyish pink to the more grey overall colour, it really came out lovely just a subtle add to give more realism.
I have mentioned my underwear a few times this week, so wanted to point out that the bustier portion of the suit, is sheer, but can also be turned off…now we know I do not do sheer with nothing under, so I grabbed one of the newer underwear sets by Nuve the cherry set, and tinted the white lace away, and it was the perfect fit – I love me some mod! The hat is also mod, and I am going to be making it different sizes in future for different looks for sure. It also comes with net or silk fabric options, as well as feature options of colours depending on what packs you purchase.

Sock it to me – Miel, Gala, TRUTH, DarkMouse, Bliensent + Maitai
It started with a glimpse at Cajsa’s blog post at It’s Only Fashion, that then ended up me unable to get over to the store. Then on the weekend Arabella came to visit us at The Deck and she was wearing a delightful dress/pants combo that was just too pretty to ignore.
On tping I was to find that it was the same store I had been meaning to visit, and Newdoll and I bought up most of the store. Since then Miel has joined us at The Deck for a spell, and now everyone is hooked. So much to our delight tonight they released their New Sock Factory items which allowed me to quickly add new pics to the already planned post, and tada this is what you get.
The Miel items are the perfect combination of staples,whether you opt for wearing the items as compiled on the vendor boards, or change it up a bit with other pieces, you will have way too much fun with the pieces.
The first pic I am wearing the Bo Lace top, this top actually has a lace collar, but I went without because I just love the wavey finish at the top hidden underneath. The tank style top comes at the moment in black and brown, and the back is incredibly detailed. Wearing some shorts from Twosome that I have had for ages and not yet shown, they are the Autumn shorts in grey and very cute.
Needing a little something around the hips, I went with the Efemera belt – wishes she would come back – by Storin, a lovely sculpted belt with a great buckle. The socks, oh the socks… I have decided I am going to rename this kind of sock to a Socking, it is too thick to be a this day and age stocking , but too high to be a sock. These definitely remind me of partially rolled down woolen stockings of the start of last century, and earlier lol.
The Lo Socks are to die for, and they did at the time only come in the black and the brown, and then later that night Miel gifted to myself, Newdoll and Ashia the New Plaid in black, oooooo we were an excited bunch, so much so we struck a pose in our newness and Newdoll took a pic and put it here.
Anywho, the socks are lovingly slipped into the 3 way Engineer boots by J’s these come with scripted options of up down, and different colours to choose from, its like a fat pack in one. Wanting to add a little more girly girl to the look, I couldn’t go past the beautiful and delicate Burst of Colour Necklace in Copper from DarkMouse, the jewelry and now hair from this store has just blown me away with each new release.
The Red Queen/rQ Crush hair is a semi latest release in the wonderful New build, the detailing amongst the twisted locks of this style is fabulous, make sure you try on all the demos, they are so much fun.
The next pic is the dress/pants combo that drew us in. The SF outfit by Miel is so adorable, with the softest looking fabric tightly stretched across the bodice of the dress, you could be in for some trouble if one of those straps tore. The tunic is just lovely and what better addition to the mix than a pocket with flowers, and I don’t mean embroidered or printed on the fabric, but actual flowers inside of it, it is so dreamy a look, but you do have the option without.
The drawstring leggings come with and the whole combo is perfect for a spring stroll in the sun. More beauties from Dark Mouse in the form of the Flowers are Blooming Necklace and Earrings, so delicate and beautifully crafted. Aradia is a hairstyle by TRUTH , a lovely loose pony tail that actually features a flower, that you can make invisible or colour change, I am wearing the Plum Hair Rose by Essentia. Sorry to say I couldn’t find any info on the bag other than Kotoricco Basket , and it was a gift, but you can see that any basket or bag would look fun with this outfit.
Speaking of bags, I got overly excited to find that June had made new Bellissima bags for BareRose, only reason I saw them was she set them out at The Deck, otherwise I would have missed the release somehow. These are fabulous, they come in a range of colours and you actually get 4 different ones in the pack, different places to hold them from as well as a bonus clutch purse, all for less than 200L.
The top is again the Bo Lace Top from Miel, this time with the CH Silver shorts, I coudln’t resist these at Miel as they are of course Grey and well just yummy. Adding to the mix the New MI Knee High Socks , these are so cute, prim topped kneehighs that have buttons to fasten to, they come in solid or plaid as do the NEW LO socks in more colours, I mean this is just a SOCK explosion, that you will not want to miss out on.
I love the plaid versions in both styles bunches, but seriously that ribbed waffle effect that the solids have as well, IT IS TOO HARD to not be able to wear both at once lol. I cannot wait to see more incredible designs from Miel.
So much stunning jewelry today, the Art Deco Onyx Necklace, Belt and Earrings are from Bliensen + MaiTai, they come with some great options, not just resizing, but also gem and metal change, and not just one gem but you get to change two different sections, so you can go all one like I did, or have a mix for more playful colour combos.
The flats are the Mina flats from TRUTH as is the Hallie hair, a ncie sideswept pony, that has a loose fit look to it also, he does that well with styles recently, that not too tight casual but classy look.
Recently Gala Phoenix of Gala @ Curio released the April skins, a skin that was all youth and innocence, but with a slightly fanciful make up line. Blending her usual two different tones and freckles options, with two varieties of each make up, the Gala skins have fast become a must have for lots of people and rightly so.
The full lips slightly pouted, and the button nose definitely gave a purity to the face. The make ups come with two variations of the same idea and the April Skins that were first released were a big win, especially the pure 1 and 2, as they were the two that were the most every day all wearable. But I think something happened, because April 2 came about, I suspect a much requested further line of make ups was called for, something that people had more choice in than the fantasy blends.
Seriously though I think more than just make ups happened, because DAD’s LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS, April 2 could get you and yours arrested. DAYUM this skin is way sexy and wayyyy too pure at the same time.
The bodies on the April skins are the same as the last few releases, incredibly detailed – and I do mean incredibly – with such a divine cleavage for those of us that don’t like to look too lifted when it’s obvious we aren’t, that is one of my favourite parts of the Gala @ Curio skins, the fact that if you are wearing a shirt or top and obviously no bra, your shading and detailing between the breasts shows that, it is wonderful.
The make ups are wonderful as I said, and they do have such a freshness to them, so try on the whole store and find your favourites, and make sure you are wearing a low cut blouse or shirt, naked will not give you the same effect neither will a bikini, you really have to see what I am talking about clothed the right way.
The hair I am wearing in most of the skin shots is the Angelina hair by TRUTH , this is a must have, I am so in love with how it frames the face. THe Bikini is the LeeLee bikini from Artilleri, the follow up to my all time favourite Leo Bikini, with super cute ties on the side and in more animal prints.
Due to time I didn’t get in the second make up options in the Gala @ Curio April 2 line, so make sure you try them all on, and also really understand that the dark and light in the packs are actually a variation in skin tone, this is so that if you are feeling a bit in need of a tan you can go darker , and if you are feeling a bit chilly and want to snuggle up you can go light, this is a dreamy skin option, as many of you I am sure have actually gone out in a fit of omg Im too pale, or too tanned breakdowns and bought a whole new skin – not that thats a bad thing :P.

Faith – Tuli, TRUTH, Dernier Cri, Studio Sidhe, Kitties Lair
Through the whole time I was taking these pics, of course all I could hear inside of my head was George Michael strumming a guitar.
Those of you that are part of the Tuli group, know that recently Tuli suffered a loss in her family, during this time Tuli named the skin she was working on Faith, in honor of her Aunt that she loved dearly. A few weeks ago she shared a sneak peak of Faith with her group, and they adored it, and I am very glad also sent her the warmest of wishes in that time.
Then Tuli came to The Deck , and before her main release of the Faith skin she created an Exclusive Faith make up that is only available at the Tuli @ The Deck location, and again her group and loyal skin wearing fans came in droves. Then yesterday she surprised everyone yet again with a fantastic Gift Exclusive. The giving nature of Tuli is known by all of her group, and those fortunate to know her ♥, we are blessed.
The release was going to be Sunday, but so excited was she, that she couldn’t resist releasing earlier than planned and again her Group of admiring fans and friends went wild, so today you too can join in and find the Faith love.
Wanting to show the skin in as much of its glory as I dare, I went in search of some Tuli smalls, there are in fact none to be found, but I heard a rumor that that may just change shortly :P. So wracking my brain I suddenly had a burst of evil genius and love all rolled into one.
You see the day that Tuli came to The Deck I was running around in some cut offs, and Kit, Camilla and Tuli were teasing me, saying such things like they couldn’t concentrate with my bottom hanging out, well I showed them 😛 .
The shorts I am wearing are from Kitties Lair and the best way to show as much as I dare , or in this case deriare , was to wear the Santa Monica Torn Hotpants, these actually come in five options this of course being the most baring :P, Tuli loves these shorts, so I had to combine lol.
As you can see the body work on the Faith skins is just superb, the smooth and silky complexion runs from head to toe. I am a bit in lust with the backs of the legs, which as we all spend so much time looking at our backs is an important area, to me the back of a skin needs to be as visually stimulating as the front, and this one is that and more.
You can rest assured though that as much as you will enjoy the back, others will admire your front. The body is fit and fabulous without being overly toned. Then we move up to the face, that is just glorious. The Faith make ups range from the natural and classics, to the daring and captivating. Some of the make up definitely has an 80’s retro kind of feel without being too blue eyeshadowy…more of a coloured liner look which I love.
So many beautiful choices that you must DEMO DEMO DEMO. TRUTH recently as I have mentioned made some new hair, as he has been doing this every week lately my to blog folder is a mix of the last few releases, this being the Angelina that I find just lovely as an all day into the night style. As usual the style fits to perfection for me, and the colours are so rich with this latest texture release that you end up wanting to try different ones each time depending on style, or maybe thats just me.
The bikini top I am wearing is from Dernier Cri, the Shiny Silver Bikini has been a favourite since the store first came to the grid. A few finishing touches, one being the Essentia Burgundy Hair Rose, the other being the beautiful Elven Anklet by Studio Sidhe.
This anklet was created to be worn with prim feet, but I chucked a big tanty and proved that it could be worn and would be worn with or without, always a fan of anklets RL and always really surprised that there aren’t more of them in Second Life, these make me happy .
While I was at Tuli grabbing bits and pieces that I didn’t get time to show, I couldn’t resist her pose stands, so the poses used in todays post are also from Tuli.

Pony Play – Sanu, Gala, TRUTH, House of Munster, Essentia, Aitui
A few weeks back when we were in the process of building, Ashia Tomsen of freestyle and Inventory Episode came a calling. We were talking about fun and fanciful items, and she got all excited to show me the then soon to be released Dark Stripes Unicorn set from Sanu.
As soon as I saw her putting on the pieces I squeeled PONNNNNNNNNYYYYYY. No not pony, Unicorn, but it can be a Pony :P. We declared there and then that we would do a post on this set together, and today is the day. The items that we have on, are a compilation of the Dark Stripes Unicorn set, and the Dark Stripes Unicorn Silks. You can buy these items seperately, so if you aren’t into prancing as such, then you have a wonderful prim silks set to lounge in.Now I need to warn you, this set comes with no texture layers at all, so you will either wear the prim modesty layers for down below, or be a kinky prude, and wear panties. Becuase Kink is the New Chic don’t ya know, all the cool kids are doing it,, snortles.
The silks set is so lovely, and all sorts of options to make prim wear easier, Sanu has layed out the top in a variety of sizes pre done for you, as well as having them all fitted with resizer scripts, as all the pieces come that way, it is a case of click and + or – YAY. There are also different length skirts, and they are just so pretty to wear, again as I said you could so totally do the silks set solo, whether it’s your regular form of wear, or you just want to feel all prettyful. Isn’t Ashia prettyful ♥.
The Unicorn pieces, and yes there is a horn there – but we were playing so hard at being Pony’s I think we both forgot we were supposed to be Unicorns lol – as well as a variety of different tails, and the adorable hoofs, that come either cloven, and or bow legged. All these considerations in this set show me that real consideration for those that live this lifestyle was taken into consideration, as well as the fun in which creating such a fun pack would be.
Many other colours can be found in this set, the fat pack is HUGE, and again all the pieces can be used at different times, for different looks. The Dark Stripes Unicorn set by Sanu also has a collar, with a built in Pony Ao, that puts your hands in the correct position and allows you to prance, it is so much fun, and usually you have to buy those seperate, so thats a big bonus.
The lovely Ashia Tomsen and I are both wearing the beautiful Gala April 2 Skins, her in the Petal tone and myself in the Sundust – more of those to come from me later today. The lovely hair that Ashia is wearing is from House of Munster, and is called Wicked, This is a great sharp concave cut with tips, House of Munster hair is so much fun, you will need to keep visiting her store for more beauties like this one.
The hair I have on is Caitlin by TRUTH, which were some of my favourite teen series books as a girl, and she had a Pony too, with Hair Rose by Essentia to finish off the prettyful. The ink adorning the arms of Ashia are from Aitui, and she wears these and others full time, so make sure you check out the tattoo line over there, they are really good work, and only get better with time as his store just grows and grows – MORE HAIR PLEASE.

Fashionable Relay Challenge 34 – Rocker – Canimal, Lala Foofoo, Free Speerit, TRUTH, Essentia, Sanu, DeLa, Enkythings
I am not sure what happened somewhere to make it my go again in the Fashionable Relay Challenge, but YAY because I never got to follow anyone. The lovely Kira Paderborn of Shapes by Kira.
So running around with Kira as my absent guide, I ended up at Sanu. The Scribble Monocle set comes with 5 different monocles, they have different colour beads and the funnest names, this one is Smurfy – as if you could resist. The other week I went to Canimal shopping with Whimsy and Meko, and had a squeeling moment when I layed eyes on the new to me Rocker Jacket.
This Rocker Jacket is so cool, it is of course the Union Jack in leather in an open zippered style. The jacket is a semi cropped length with zippers featured on the arms and the back, I love this jacket and I remember when Canimal came back from the UK all inspired but somehow I missed this gem.
I am wearing it over one of my favourite Gauze Tanks by LaLa FooFoo, this is the white, and even though it doesnt have a jacket layer it comes with a tucked in underpants layer, that really works for this look. The navy blue Leather Pants I have on are from DeLa and these pants are such a rich colour, they shine in all the right places without looking too overdone, so you can wear them with all sorts of looks, the dark blue definitely pulls up the depth of blue in the jacket, which I really like in the darker toned flags.
Having way too much fun now with my red, white and blue look, I added the red Nana heels by Enkythings – have I mentioned that I love these shoes yet ?, the style and the colour are perfect for the combination and to really work with the cuffs to these pants.
Needing more white, I chose the Puschel Pez tail from Fifferling, a fun playful cat tail, adorned with pez dispensers and other various candy fun. The Kitti ears are from The Sweetest Sin, but you can of course get ears at Fifferling also, and vice versa if you aren’t in the mood for a candy tail.
A splash of luxurious red in the form of my hair, the style is called Willow 2 and is the latest release from TRUTH, itwas not just the perfect choice for it’s colour , but the swept and pinned back look gave it a fabulous charm but also the ability to see the monocle bangs free. Another splash of red, is in the form of the Tiffany ring by Flirt, it is diamond encrusted, with platinum detailing…it is also scripted to chage size which is fabulous as I had to increase it a smidge to fit perfectly.
Byzantine Choker by Essentia, which is my favourite silver choker. The detailed link work on this necklace is divine, true Byzantine detailing that you have to see RL to believe, there is a demo in the Essentia Main Store. The Skin that I am wearing is the lovely Kimberly skin from Free Speerit, the body detailing, and the lovely make ups are just fabulous. Make sure you try on the demos and check out all the other items at Free Speerit, as not only skins, but hair, clothes and poses.
Now about the poses, Marleen Vaughan of Marlys, put out a challenge to pose makers. This challenge was inspired and creative, it was for posemakers to create poses based on the Robert Longo artworks in RL. His work has people in such intense poses that for a posemaker this was certainly a challenge. So many jumped at the oppurtunity, and did such a wonderful job. Chance Greatrex from DARE sent me his pose set from this challenge and it was instant love and admiration for this set, and the pictures that can and will be taken with them.
Be daring and try them for yourself, they are so lovely, and from different angles and with some imagination, they can do so much.
Passing the baton to Shelly Toonie over at Moonshine, it was a blast being able to jump in and get another chance to partake in this challenge.
