Hair Fair 2026 – Apika & Loveholic
I was waiting to show off this cap by Apika at Hair Fair 2026. As soon as I put it on I had this whole sense of celebrity spotted by the paparazzi. You know the tabloid pics you see of someone walking down a street or leaving a cafe or on their way to pilates, and they are wearing a baseball cap, because you are not meant to know they are celebrities, but everything they are wearing and how they carry themselves says LOOK AT ME! This hat is definitely that, and so cute, with texture change options for all the parts.
I had mentioned the other day that the hairbase from the Linda rollers hair by Loveholic at Hair Fair was fantastic, and knew that it would be the perfect base for under this hat. The finger curls, and the length of it, just works perfectly as under hat hair. The whole outfit went from there, with these bow jeans that I love because you can hide and show the bows, in the past I have shown them as only at the top, and this time only at the bottom. Matching influences of gold throughout and the tshirt of course had to have something on it, because again, they want to be anonymous but wear something that says something enough for you to take notice, but Kindness was a lovely thing to put out there.

Hair Fair 2026 – Kuni & Flair
It has been an exciting few days, I ended up buying the last name Style at Hair Fair (exclusive last name information 100% donated to Wigs for Kids) for one of the Flair store accounts…so now FlairManagement Resident – that was so much typing, is Flair Style. Then I woke up this morning and bought Strand for Sasy Resident who was just not living her alliterative life well enough for me, so she will be Sasy Strand. Which I like a lot, also because it tickles me that she is a Strand of Sasy Scarborough.
Speaking of strands, I am so loving this Kuni style at Hair Fair called Manu. It has lots of options and the Bangs are also controlled by the HUD, which is awesome. You can wear them without intention of having them visible, and hit that hud and appear they do, or don’t it is up to you, just makes for more on the go kind of styling which is great. There is also a much fuller bangs look, but I wanted to transition from the front of face to the behind ears look, because it was an option if you get the styling hud that is sold separately.
I also wanted to get a chance to wear our Flair release at Hair Fair, one of two, the Tamarama Trio Headband, because I love it, and we made it, and you can texture change all three parts, as well as it being mod.

Hair Fair 2026 – Jewik, Dark Mouse & Martyr
One of my favourite things to do is hybrid things, mix things up so that you get a bit of a unique take on something. So when I saw this hair by Jewik at Hair Fair 2026 that was already a mix of base and regular hair with headband I was smitten. I was hoping it would have the ability to wear the headband that comes with it separately, but even better, while the headband is included as a wear alone item, the hair with headband has the ability to turn it off, meaning this is the hair for wearing with every single headband you own for an instant fit. Now in the first picture I went with the way it comes, hairbase included, hair and headband. The headband also has texture change options, and it was a perfect matchy match to my very citrus like outfit. Perfect for me and with the hairbase included, you will probably find other styles to use it with.
Then I dove a bit deeper and pulled out a hair base that I feel in love with on sight in the Martyr booth at Hair Fair and that it was called Mel was just added love. A perfectly centred part, and just a really great base, I have been wearing it on and off all week, and it has different colours that also tint like a dream, as mentioned in the litterbug post. Then I reached for the Dark Mouse release at Hair Fair, this wooden headband that has stunning metal and pearl accents, and while it comes with different wood colours and metals and pearl colours, it also tints like a dream, with it being modify I was able to get a nice rose pink to match my outfit (sounds a chorus of Angel trumpets – that is a thing right?). So wearing the hair component of the Jewik hairstyle, with the headband that comes with turned off, I added the headband by Dark Mouse and the hair base change, and I have a whole new look that I love. I have mentioned in the past that I wear Dark Mouse earrings (in my ears in the pic) like all the time, so getting my bling on with hair accessories by Mouse is a groovy thing for sure.
This hair is already in my favourites tab, with the Mel Hairbase, because with my own Flair headbands and the many I have purchased over the years, this is a go to often style, and something you should definitely grab.

Hair Fair 2026 – MyBags & Merit
I love hats in Second Life, and when they are made so well and we now have so many options for what we can wear with them, it just magnifies the joy. MyBags makes stunning hats and accessories and their Lakshmibai was a must have. The pearl detailing has texture change options and it just looks so pretty. It is a great military structured style that I just love in the pill box look for hats of this kind, and it worked perfectly with the ponytail and hairbase from Merit that you will see better in the next post on it, I get to wear it twice.
Putting together a whole ladies that lunch kind of look with some Rowne and some Coco, and it could be off to the races.

Hair Fair 2026 – High 5 Loveholic and Monso
Watching the process of Autumn of High 5 set up her booth each year is a treat, she just keeps going, and going, and going, and it is like watching a story come to life… and this time at the end of all her hard work she even spent time cleaning up. Before I saw her pull out the mop, I had mentioned that her booth reminded me of a 1950’s home expo you see in movies. While there was only me in these pics, I really hope I captured enough of the vibe of this amazing piece at Hair Fair.
The Vintage Salon Dryer set is just amazing, the whole set is animated for solo use or a group of gossiping girls or boys getting their hair done. The textures are amazing, the seating looks like a quick spray and wipe and NEXT! it is so realistic looking, I admire it every time I walk, run, fly past. The animations are so fun, there are gossip animations, that actually have you elbowing the person in the dryer next to you to engage with them…that was my favourite, but because I was solo I did the only thing I could think of and added a cellphone so that it looked like I was gossiping to someone somewhere else. There are so many options, even a consultant standing in front of you running through your options if you like, and as mentioned at the end someone comes by with a mop and clean up in aisle five, High 5 that is.
We are only a week in and I have had a lot of use out of the Linda hair by Loveholic at Hair Fair, I ended up using it for a video for Flair, and I just love the work that went into this in rollers style, and it works perfectly with the props of the Vintage Salon, especially seeing as the dryers stay up or down, so you can be encased in your Linda look. Not only does the hair have the hair and rollers, but also tendrils of loose curls that just add that realism, but another absolute win is that the hair base is the most beautiful finger curls base, that you could and should wear on its own. I loved it so much I included a pic.
My outfit was based on the idea that girls that salon, are going to do so not only looking fabulous but feeling comfortable, and what better way to show that than in leopard print sweats.
Then after those curls are let out and the hair is a whole gorgeous look, such as this Shy style by Monso for their Hair Fair exclusive, this style is so beautiful. I was chatting to a girl at the booth who is not usually a shorter hair wearer, and she just loved it. I feel the combination of Linda to Shy works so well, that I used that in my Flair video too. But Shy by name not by nature is the outcome, because getting my twirly dress groove on and out on the town I go.

Sock it to me – Miel, Gala, TRUTH, DarkMouse, Bliensent + Maitai
It started with a glimpse at Cajsa’s blog post at It’s Only Fashion, that then ended up me unable to get over to the store. Then on the weekend Arabella came to visit us at The Deck and she was wearing a delightful dress/pants combo that was just too pretty to ignore.
On tping I was to find that it was the same store I had been meaning to visit, and Newdoll and I bought up most of the store. Since then Miel has joined us at The Deck for a spell, and now everyone is hooked. So much to our delight tonight they released their New Sock Factory items which allowed me to quickly add new pics to the already planned post, and tada this is what you get.
The Miel items are the perfect combination of staples,whether you opt for wearing the items as compiled on the vendor boards, or change it up a bit with other pieces, you will have way too much fun with the pieces.
The first pic I am wearing the Bo Lace top, this top actually has a lace collar, but I went without because I just love the wavey finish at the top hidden underneath. The tank style top comes at the moment in black and brown, and the back is incredibly detailed. Wearing some shorts from Twosome that I have had for ages and not yet shown, they are the Autumn shorts in grey and very cute.
Needing a little something around the hips, I went with the Efemera belt – wishes she would come back – by Storin, a lovely sculpted belt with a great buckle. The socks, oh the socks… I have decided I am going to rename this kind of sock to a Socking, it is too thick to be a this day and age stocking , but too high to be a sock. These definitely remind me of partially rolled down woolen stockings of the start of last century, and earlier lol.
The Lo Socks are to die for, and they did at the time only come in the black and the brown, and then later that night Miel gifted to myself, Newdoll and Ashia the New Plaid in black, oooooo we were an excited bunch, so much so we struck a pose in our newness and Newdoll took a pic and put it here.
Anywho, the socks are lovingly slipped into the 3 way Engineer boots by J’s these come with scripted options of up down, and different colours to choose from, its like a fat pack in one. Wanting to add a little more girly girl to the look, I couldn’t go past the beautiful and delicate Burst of Colour Necklace in Copper from DarkMouse, the jewelry and now hair from this store has just blown me away with each new release.
The Red Queen/rQ Crush hair is a semi latest release in the wonderful New build, the detailing amongst the twisted locks of this style is fabulous, make sure you try on all the demos, they are so much fun.
The next pic is the dress/pants combo that drew us in. The SF outfit by Miel is so adorable, with the softest looking fabric tightly stretched across the bodice of the dress, you could be in for some trouble if one of those straps tore. The tunic is just lovely and what better addition to the mix than a pocket with flowers, and I don’t mean embroidered or printed on the fabric, but actual flowers inside of it, it is so dreamy a look, but you do have the option without.
The drawstring leggings come with and the whole combo is perfect for a spring stroll in the sun. More beauties from Dark Mouse in the form of the Flowers are Blooming Necklace and Earrings, so delicate and beautifully crafted. Aradia is a hairstyle by TRUTH , a lovely loose pony tail that actually features a flower, that you can make invisible or colour change, I am wearing the Plum Hair Rose by Essentia. Sorry to say I couldn’t find any info on the bag other than Kotoricco Basket , and it was a gift, but you can see that any basket or bag would look fun with this outfit.
Speaking of bags, I got overly excited to find that June had made new Bellissima bags for BareRose, only reason I saw them was she set them out at The Deck, otherwise I would have missed the release somehow. These are fabulous, they come in a range of colours and you actually get 4 different ones in the pack, different places to hold them from as well as a bonus clutch purse, all for less than 200L.
The top is again the Bo Lace Top from Miel, this time with the CH Silver shorts, I coudln’t resist these at Miel as they are of course Grey and well just yummy. Adding to the mix the New MI Knee High Socks , these are so cute, prim topped kneehighs that have buttons to fasten to, they come in solid or plaid as do the NEW LO socks in more colours, I mean this is just a SOCK explosion, that you will not want to miss out on.
I love the plaid versions in both styles bunches, but seriously that ribbed waffle effect that the solids have as well, IT IS TOO HARD to not be able to wear both at once lol. I cannot wait to see more incredible designs from Miel.
So much stunning jewelry today, the Art Deco Onyx Necklace, Belt and Earrings are from Bliensen + MaiTai, they come with some great options, not just resizing, but also gem and metal change, and not just one gem but you get to change two different sections, so you can go all one like I did, or have a mix for more playful colour combos.
The flats are the Mina flats from TRUTH as is the Hallie hair, a ncie sideswept pony, that has a loose fit look to it also, he does that well with styles recently, that not too tight casual but classy look.
Recently Gala Phoenix of Gala @ Curio released the April skins, a skin that was all youth and innocence, but with a slightly fanciful make up line. Blending her usual two different tones and freckles options, with two varieties of each make up, the Gala skins have fast become a must have for lots of people and rightly so.
The full lips slightly pouted, and the button nose definitely gave a purity to the face. The make ups come with two variations of the same idea and the April Skins that were first released were a big win, especially the pure 1 and 2, as they were the two that were the most every day all wearable. But I think something happened, because April 2 came about, I suspect a much requested further line of make ups was called for, something that people had more choice in than the fantasy blends.
Seriously though I think more than just make ups happened, because DAD’s LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS, April 2 could get you and yours arrested. DAYUM this skin is way sexy and wayyyy too pure at the same time.
The bodies on the April skins are the same as the last few releases, incredibly detailed – and I do mean incredibly – with such a divine cleavage for those of us that don’t like to look too lifted when it’s obvious we aren’t, that is one of my favourite parts of the Gala @ Curio skins, the fact that if you are wearing a shirt or top and obviously no bra, your shading and detailing between the breasts shows that, it is wonderful.
The make ups are wonderful as I said, and they do have such a freshness to them, so try on the whole store and find your favourites, and make sure you are wearing a low cut blouse or shirt, naked will not give you the same effect neither will a bikini, you really have to see what I am talking about clothed the right way.
The hair I am wearing in most of the skin shots is the Angelina hair by TRUTH , this is a must have, I am so in love with how it frames the face. THe Bikini is the LeeLee bikini from Artilleri, the follow up to my all time favourite Leo Bikini, with super cute ties on the side and in more animal prints.
Due to time I didn’t get in the second make up options in the Gala @ Curio April 2 line, so make sure you try them all on, and also really understand that the dark and light in the packs are actually a variation in skin tone, this is so that if you are feeling a bit in need of a tan you can go darker , and if you are feeling a bit chilly and want to snuggle up you can go light, this is a dreamy skin option, as many of you I am sure have actually gone out in a fit of omg Im too pale, or too tanned breakdowns and bought a whole new skin – not that thats a bad thing :P.

Callie Cline is always up for some fun, and with the Tarty Girl sets it’s that and more. I love tartan, checks, plaid, gingham it’s all fabulous. The cute girly girl dress has an edge to it with the tartan in this case, and I really like the semi scoop in the boostier top.
One thing I did notice about the dress, is they don’t come with glitch pants, so make sure you have some sort of leggings or tights handy or you may just be invited to more parties than you want to be :P.
I am wearing it with another Callie Cline creations which is the Snow Baby Forever Sweater, these sweaters come in three different lengths with the prim collar, cuffs and actually a very scots like beanie hat – not worn.
The necklace and earrings are from Dark Mouse and are the Big Flower sets, stunning long chain for the necklace that is really appealing, drawing attention to the lovely scoop of the dress.
I saw Thema last night at an event and she had on hair to die for, I hadn’t seen that release from LeLutka and was so over there first thing today, only to find that with the new layout there were wayyyy too many styles I never saw released :(, I made up for it though lol. This is the Dianna style – not the one Thema was wearing – a beautiful smooth bun.
Wanting a bit of an edgier look with the tartan I opted for just the top, as it comes with variations with the dress. This is the Zippered top from the Red Tarty Girl- Tarty Party dress. I really like this as a top, especially with the zippered look, the pants I am wearing are fantastic Leather Pants from Adam N Eve, they come in lots of colours and the leather work is great.
Speaking of Fantastic, the New J’s 3 way Engineer Boots are INCREDIBLE! these aren’t just Must Haves these are more like, omg if you don’t own these you are bonkers. I am all about boot love, and especially biker/engineer boots. These are so well textured and the colours are amazing , but in the usual J’s style you do not just get one pair but numerous options in the one pair.
These boots are scripted that you get full up look, turned down look, and turned over 2 look, but even better is that you get to choose right or left as you do it, so you can wear one up one down, swap them around etc…that is a lot of looks with one pair and such a bargain.
The belt I am wearing is from Virus Co. the Scrap Mechanic just added a bit more fun to the look, it even comes with a hand held wrench as an extra with it, and is in a few sizes as well as mod.
This hair is the DJ style from LeLutka, another New to Me style which is actually a fab Unisexy style. The Leather Wrist Cuffs are from Sable Rose and they come in various leathers as well as other fun styles, they make a great addition to your edgier looks.
Lastly another mix and match look using the fun pieces from Callie Cline. The Forever Sweater in Brown is a beautiful shade for this time of year, I love brown mixed with other colours, especially like here mixed with pink.The sweater also has a second option for the collar, shown on the top pic with the scarf, Wearing also the beautiful Jeans Sculpted Skirt from Dutch Touch in brown, this skirt is lovely, the texture is great and the fit on the sculpties was easy. This skirt comes in other colours and the new seperates from Dutch Touch are perfect for coordinating with each other.
Recently when Newdoll, Whimsy and I went on our last big shop we ended up at Jaywalk, and while I was praising and ooooing about the fantastic socks there I realised there were many I didn’t own, so fixing that these are the fabulous Kelly Socks. These are the 3way Engineer boots in another colour, these are so fabulous you really Must Must Must get them.
This last hair style is the Sasha hair, a fantastic concave cut from LeLutka, beautifully styled and covering one eye, it really is lovely.
Now about those skins, Bebae recently released Coral , a New skin that is just all of the things we already love about Bebae and more. Beautiful bow shaped mouth in the glossy lips that Torie does an incredible job of everytime. I really don’t know how she manages to create such a natural gloss but it is definitely her fortay.
I will show more of this skin in the next post but as a glimpse the cleavage and shading on the upper body you can see is just beautifully orchestrated. Each skin comes with three eyebrow options depending on what colour hair you wear you have choice, choice is wonderful :). The make up in the Coral range is as superb as usual too, some rich and glossy looks combined with some basic looks for day to day wear.
Lastly and importantly 😉 they has shaved o/, lol. Remember DEMO DEMO DEMO.
