Thankfully Whimsy has all sorts of bits and pieces in her inventory, so while she was rezzing rolling hills for her own blog post, I took the oppurtunity to use them as the backdrop for my own. The delightful ao from Body Language for this round of Collabor88 is made for the great balloon attachments you get included with the purchase, lovely big balloons that will make picture taking fun.

The hair of course helped a treat to give it more realism, which is by Exile and also at C88 this round, there are two wonderful windy styles to choose from, my suggestion is get both as one can never have too much windy hair, or for that matter too much Exile.

The super sweet frock is by BCC, and it is a delight in femininity. Such prettyness abounds, and whether on ground or in the air, you will feel very girly. I loved matching it up with my new G*field shoes that are texture change mix and match if you get the packs, and why not, when they are all so pretty. They are now making for Slink and Maitreya feet, so much more love to give G*field, these are their first heels for feet, they also have flats which I got at an event a few weeks back, but am looking forward to the heels they produce in future.

Lode is one of my favourite hair accessory stores, honestly probably my favourite these days, as not too many tend to run into that area, so YAY for them. This also has a facial attachment of more butterflies, but this was enough for me, and so pretty. If you see their work at other events and it is gacha items, play until you have no money left, because they are definitely worth it, and the multiples will make your friends extremely happy and pretty like you.

The other day I mentioned going to the Mesh Body Addicts Fair, great event, if you have not been yet, do go over there. This Jewel skin is another from Lumae that I picked up, it comes with everything you need head to toes, all appliers as well as base skins, so it is a must have for people that have bits of everything.

Yesterday it started with the shoes, today the hair. This spectacular style is by RedMint and honestly the tendrils, the rams horns, everything about it is divine. The horns come with a texture change option on the hair colours hud, and there are enough options to go with everything.

I of course immediately thought of doing a picture on rocks, and rocks = Whimsy = Slink West…trust me it is a natural progression – Whimsy did the landscaping at the Slink West outdoors area, and the surrounding commercial areas. Then I decided that I wanted some faun legs and remembered the ones I bought years ago from Epic, so they are sculpts not mesh, but still look great. I did however think of wearing black ones, but when I purchased those they were so black that there was not the same detailing visible as with the white, so I went back to those.

Applieing my Vixen Catsuit from Slink, and I was ready for action. I also found these really cool mask and eyepatch sets on Marketplace, they were only 70L for the set, which was bonkers inexpensive, and the fatpack is a great deal, I did end up going back for black as I mentioned, so all in all the fatpack would have been the smarter move, but so inexpensive I could still do that and save.

Red is a great colour, it is so empowering, so enriching and the right red, such as this one, is so vibrant. Finding all the pieces to put together the look was easy, starting at the shoes, with the great heels from Breathe. Cherry red became the order of the day, and with a bit of love for Mandala – what is not to love – some great hair from Mina, and this cool jersey tshirt dress by Bueno.

Thanks to this great pose by Ma Vie you get a real eyeful of the footwear, and that is the definite call for the day. Pouty red lips with the stunning Milla skin appliers by League on my Leda head by Lelutka and the day could lead anywhere…

Spending some alone time in the middle of the night, with my grand piano. This lovely piece is by Lisp, and is an item at the still on round of C88. It actually plays real music and the animations are very realistic. Having the oppurtunity to show off my new mesh hipster panties by Maitreya, with their fun little slogans, or just plain and sheer heart versions…the sheer hearts are a bit naughty, they are made for the Lara body.

The hair I am wearing is a new style by Oleander, and has a great texture change hud for the hair bow. The bustier is by Tee*fy and as always snug and perfect, comes in solids and floral or lace type patterns, must have items all of them.

I am not sure where this week went to, it has already been 5 days since Hair Fair ended, and My Attic is ending tonight at Midnight, and I swear it is still only Mondy.

I had some bloggers fate again today, standing in my studio, about to take a picture when Nantra creator pops into my IM telling me of some shoe poses she is about to release at Designer Showcase tomorrow. I was in the middle of setting up a pose for my shot to actually pay attention to the shoes by Essenz at My Attic and this pose worked out perfectly.

From head to toes I am perfection today, you can think what you like, but I am going to love on myself all day. I got to wear one of the NEW COMING SOON hairstyles by LeLutka, while running all around Mesh Body Addicts Fair that starts tomorrow. Take a large wallet, because you are going to need it. I saw the event mentioned by Valentina.E’s creator in plurk and headed on over, as they have released their first Slink and Maitreya fitted versions of this sexy dress.

I went for the dress and came home with everything else that wasn’t nailed down…seriously you are going to need to allocate some serious time for this event, it is a winner before it even opens to the public. You can keep up to date on all things to do with the event, and Mesh Bodies in general on the Mesh Body Addicts blog. There is also a group in world to join.

While there I also picked up this beautiful skin appliers set by Lumae, I have featured them in the past, and marvelled at how many appliers options you get, my favourite is that you get both Visage and LeLutka appliers for the heads, which means I can keep my skin and change heads as needed, depending on what I am doing. The skin is Fae and she looks amazing on the Lelutka Leda head. The skin appliers are also 50% off for this skin only during the event.

The other day Whimsy and I ran around some events, one being Kustom9, we hit up the gatcha and the furniture pieces are ones that I was able to get, all the pieces are wonderful, and I really wanted the laddery piece, which I got very easily, so much love for that gatcha machine. When it comes to furniture pieces, I am happy with pieces I get, as they come in handy for pictures and the like, we do not tend to set up house, as we are always changing so much at our space. Plus Whimsy takes all my prims 😛

Happy Bandana Day, as Hair Fair draws to an end for another year, I was able to take another spin around the sims…met some lovely people as Whimsy and strutted around in our Bandana’s. I hope everyone has enjoyed the event this year, and we hope that you all found some new stores that you enjoy and will treasure their releases in the future.

So it is that time of the day when I start to stutter, my eyes start falling out of my head, and I am definitely going to start hallucinating any moment now. It is 11am and I have been on all yesterday and last night and now today, and it is time to drag myself to sleep. I tried very hard to get as much of Hair Fair covered as I could, but by the time I wake up it will of course be BANDANA DAY!

Bandana Day is traditionally the day we all “Remove our Hair to show we Care!” by wearing the Bandana’s that have been for sale at Hair Fair. If you have not gotten yours yet now is the time, and that means no hair blogging for me tomorrow.

I have done as many as I could in this last post, and there are so many more styles to see…if you have not checked out the full coverage of the event, you should definitely check out SeraphimSL and EloquenceSL both blogs did an amazing job of covering all booths. As well of course all the incredible blog posts that got done by individual blogs.

I spent some time having a break earlier, needed some new clothing to wear with all this great hair, ran over to Project Limited…not usually a limited edition purchaser, because it makes it complicated to blog in the future, when the items wont be around…but I wanted to see a few things that had caught my eye….nothing like the incredible Anchor tail though, this thing is awesome, it moves around as fast or slow as you want, all hud controlled and is just kind of brilliant, definitely a must have kind of item.

Some amazing items at Kustom9 as well, and also Uber just started, with some great styles by Ison and Emery in my post too. My Attic is still on until the 31st , so I had to represent with this great Maxi dress by Sn@tch and the wonderful shoes by Bushu. Other items I picked up at Project Limited were not limited items, as it seems you get to have both in your booth. The boots by Razor I had had my eye on a few weeks ago, but they had not been updated from V1 of Slinks body to V2 until  NOW. I had spoken to the owner and they had told me they were updating all, so I got very excited to see them again, and sure enough BAM! Sexy as.

Everything just works so well with all of this great Hair, and I really hope you have all had the chance to visit Hair Fair 2015 and enjoyed it…you still have just over 30 hours left until it closes for another year…so make sure that any hair you have your eye on you purchase while it can help Wigs for Kids.

In all the years that I have been blogging, I have often mentioned “Bloggers Fate” it is when you are in the middle of a shoot, and you get a drop down or an IM from a creator and the item just happens to work so incredibly well with your look, or your location, that it was just meant to be.

There are also times that it happens that you are behind on blogging something, and you stress out about it, reminding yourself over and over you have that thing that you need to blog, and then when you do go to do so again something just happens that shows you that holding off on doing so was incredibly worth it.

Both of those things happened today. One of the funniest things about Hair Fair for me, and yes it is odd, but it happens every year, is that I spend so much time checking everything over and over again, I often do not actually see the hair. I do eventually see it, whether in bloggers packs or of course all of the shopping I do at the event…but I mean leading up to the opening, I have the advantage of being able to see hair hot off the presses and yet rarely do I ever look up at the ads, but instead am nose deep in the contents of the vendors checking everything I need to check.

So while I had seen the trailer Video of these styles, and of course the booth, I somehow just managed to not grasp the small details of the styles. One part I completely missed was that two of the styles are windblown but in such a marvelously subtle way, that both were just perfect for my shoot, inspired it really. Then out of the sky came a release notice, and while I was already so close to being nose deep in the ocean, a fantastic bikini was released by Mimikri, and not only a stunner, but including Slink fitted options, TADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Fate I tell you. So between that bikini, which is just beautiful, the amazing dresses by Fishy Strawberry – one if which is limited edition so get on over to N21 ASAP – it was a mix of blues, wind and denim today, and I loved it all.

The addition of the beaded jewellery by Meva was also a lovely kaleidescope of blues, with the bracelet and necklace just enhancing the whole combination. Really lovely work on their jewellery.

So feminine, as usual the Wasabi Pills styles at this years Hair Fair did not let my girly girl down. These styles are just all adorable, in that girl next door you want to do more with than take home to meet the parents. More like you hope the parents are stuck in traffic for at least 3 hours and you both have the house to yourselves.

Teaming it up with my new favouritest skirt by SySy’s that is at this round of My Attic, the Ginger skirt is delightful and will be a firm favourite for many , as it is so versatile and really just flat out lovely. Also from My Attic the Meva items are lovely jewellery pieces and the really cool sunglasses that have texture change options.
