‘Its not a House its a Home’ part two / Whopping Great BIG Post
Truth Hawks of TRUTH Designs, just rebuilt his sim, and I am LOVING it. If you’re Australian like we are, or you are a lover of Aussie movies, you will understand the title of this and the last post….if not then you have to learn :oP.Ok Ok you may work it out anyway, when I start going on and on about how Truth hasnt just set out to build a mall around his own Beautiful Main Store, but has invited friends he cares about to join him on his sim.
In doing so he has created a ‘Home’ for them, and you can feel it. The sim is stunning in its design, but there is a definite energy surrounding it that makes you want to stay. As you can see I tpd back to write this post sitting by the wonderful fountain in the courtyard.
The sim is very italian piazza, and thats such an aussie thing to do too, you really have to know what we are all about down here to get that lol – looks around for some Gelato.The stores all over the sim are some very very familiar names , and a few NEW ones too including of course Arcane, the fabulous Aussie Skinner.
I am so glad I got a New pc this week, just to be able to enjoy the spectacular beauty of Sweet Sorrow, and omg everything rezzed for me *sniffles* and the waterrrrr omg the water.
But lets get to the goodies shall we, the skin I am wearing in all shots is of course from Arcane. The first picture is The Gypsy Coat by TRUTH and the incredible Loose fit Cargo Pants.
This coat is fabulous, not just in colour, and there are others..but the overall style and detailing is just YUMMO!. I love the open style of it the most as it allows you to show off not just one item of clothing but lots, or in this case my fab new tummy lol.You can of course wear it without the prims, but look at the great fit of the coat, didn’t have to edit a thing, I LOVE when that happens. The belts is fabulous, the structure of it is great, it really really looks like a belt should when unbuckled.
The lapel and hoody colour is divine and rich in contrast with the fabulous deep cherry of the coat , it definitely is a great choice for daytime casual moving into nightime dressy. The Loose Fit Cargo pants were a Must Have for me, they are grey, so I really don’t have to go into that lol. but the shading and length is just fab, with their prim cuffs for that rolled up look, and my favourite part is the side waistband, I love when pants do up a bit to one side, its just a little sexier.
The fab and quirky hair is Lilo, a NEW release by Truth in his hair section and OMG the hair this man is creating is just fantasorgasamastic – Truth gets a new made up word. The shoes are the Heel Strap Platforms by ETD.
Savvy? is also there another well known Aussie, Dakota Buck… as many of you know Dakota has joined the team over at Armidi, which is hell exciting, but unfortunately means no newness for Savvy? well I for one am all about the oldness too, and for me today two sets I am going to show are brand new to moi.This is the Eve of Destruction set, and its just all degrees of splendid. For one it has a SYSTEM SKIRT – quickly puts it in the right category so I don’t forget – The divine Pencil skirt is, well divine lol. I love pencil skirts and again this one is done properly, fantastic length, shading and design.
Dakota’s use of not the norm colour wise is what I adore about her creations, many couldnt envision that kind of yellowy colour in a set like this one, but its what made me buy it in the first place lol ok second I lie, we all know it was the skirt.
One thing I will ALWAYS hands down commend Dakota for, and strongly stand by my claim she was the ‘first’ to do it, is her implementing of layers. Ok she might not have been, but she was definitely the first to grab everyones attention for doing it lol. It definitely is those little things that make her shine though, not just by seperately packaging all additional layers in the one set, so you dont get confused…but also the additions of things like glove layers for sleeve lengtheners, and in this top that looks fab.
The Military collared crop jacket is stunning as well, and you will get lots of use out of that in other outfits I am sure, as well as the tights added to the mix to create a complete ‘look’. The hair is Dorothy by TRUTH and not only is it a fabulous style but again I am so in love with the Browns 2 pack, the colours are scrumptious. The shoes are the Fujin Saena heels from Enkythings that I spoke about yesterday ALL money from the sale of these lovely shoes will go to Charity, so please buy them
Artilleri is also at Sweet Sorrow WOOOT! and though Antonia isnt an Aussie she is like coming home as well, there is something comforting when you see Artilleri at a sim, its like a nice little stamp of approval that the sim is good apples.
This Lingerie is Deanna polka dots, and I have had it for a while and made sure it was in the store there. I have been dieing to wear it – hee hee I am so bad – The style is typical Vintage Gorgeousnessness, which Antonia does incredibly well.
You do have with or without Garter options and the style of panties is just YUM!, teamed up with some divine fishnets this set is definitely provocative
.The hair another NEW style by TRUTH , is Polly and I love love love this style, you only saw the front of it in the Arcane Skins post, but now you can see how delightful this uppy-do really is.
The shoes are the Nana heels from Enkythings, which you know I love bunches especially for shooting lingerie, and you do get to see some more of the body of the divine Arcane skin.
Dutch Touch and Fuse are also at Sweet Sorrow, The top I am wearing is from the Cam(O)Lis set from Dutch Touch, a set that I blogged a long while ago on Appearance Mode, great style tank, which you get three colours of in the set…I really like the high back of this style and the detailing around the empire line and hemline.
The pants are the by FUSE, fabulous cut of pants and the belt detailing is done really well. I adore the colour of them so they were a Must Have!. I am also wearing the cute Bloom Freebie Ring from FUSE thats in the store, the Hair again by TRUTH Is the Yummy Rachel Hair, the headband is change on click, but I did tint it to reach the right blue I needed.
Heel strap Platforms are from ETD and look how great the Arcane Ghost skin looks in this combo, as does the skin in all the pics as they are all as I said, but I am loving Ghost more and more each time.
Have I mentioned to you yet how much of a perve Truth is lol, well its true. If I moved my hands you would see its true just by these adorable Border Line Crop tops…there are four in the pack and they really are pervey, but really well made and great colours.
Would look great over your favourite tanks too as a closed in shrug look- why I say LOUDLY layers of everything even if it doesnt make sense- these are only on the shirt layer though but still I have stacks of tanks on the undershirt layer, as I am sure you do too.
LIX is also at Sweet Sorrow, the store owned by Ryker Beck who did a lot of the posters in Truths new Store Build, Ryker started off making jewelry and has now moved into clothing, with a small so far line of separates…and with all her PS skills I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in the future.These are her Essentials Corduroys in * hee hee * Ghost, couldn’t resist them. They are really well designed and I don’t think I had a really good pair of white casual pants., I do now though.
The shoes are the Nana heels in white to match of course – and will someone explain to me that no white after labor day thing, seriously I see that in movies so much and have no clue why?- from Enkythings.
Another Aussie designer is the owner of ROT Designs, a very eclectic range of clothing and accessories, this one jumped out at me though, done all one one layer, its very very funna…I used to wear vests alot in the late 80’s and always stole ties whenever I could lol -not from stores silly but people.This is the Broder Vest in Violet,and i just like its overall Geeky-ness, so I just had to add some glasses by the fabulous Prim-Optic store.
These glasses are called Sleek and are so many kinds of cool. You might think they are just glasses but they are so much more. Each pair comes with click to colour change the frames and lenses separately, yes you can also tint the glass but colour it also. Then you actually have a built in radar that tells you range of avatars in your proximity.
They also have built in flight assist, which for me who lives as high as I can, is a great tool to have, especially as whenever I delete part of my house and fall 600M its always the damm home setting piece *blushes* told you I don’t edit well. They also have the ability to be worn normally, or on the top of your head, for those that like to keep their glasses on at all times. They are very very cool.
What should I find in the little shed in the garden at Sweet Sorrow but Sand Shack Surf, another incredibly talented girl is Emma Gilmour *moves my glass of milk to the side just in case its catching, and her pieces in her store are just fun favourites even if you dont have them yet.This is the Frills Trim Cardigan, and the style is just delish, the length is great for wearing over your favourite pants or in this case Loose Fit Cargo pants from TRUTH Designs. See not only do their stores go so well together but so do their clothes.
Made on the Jacket layer this fab Cardi will look great as is or with any layers you choose to wear under it. The opening at the bottom will allow for a nice splash of colour on your favourite t shirt or tank. I have on one of the Great NEW shorter Unisex styles from TRUTH called Danny 2, that is at the moment only 1L for the Fat Pack so hurry up because it will go to regular price soon.
Lastly, and again a Savvy? item, is the Dear Stephanie, WOW, it looked great in the picture but WOWZA on the body. Everything about this set is stunning.The blouse is a divine grey colour with that incredible collar, the cropped vest is also a wonderful addition to the set as a whole or worn seperately. But the absolute LOVE came for the Jodhpurs, OMG look at them, take my word for it they are BUM-tacular!.
I love love love the realism of the fabric, real joddys are tight tight tight, and they are made with that freaky space age polycottowoolystuffs thats probably been nuclear heated, and then sent to the antartic to test on polar bears during mating season, whatever they do to it, its TIGHT!. Well Dakota managed to get that look spot on, and my bum thanks her for it.
Again the additional love in the form of sculptie sleeves, and then traveling down my pants, if you can get passed my bum you’re doing better than I did. The set is finished off with fabulosu Opaque stockings, you know the really thick private school ones- why oh why in this country would you ever make kids wear such things when its HOT, barbarians- but for this set they are spot on perfect- sorry had to have a tanty for a sec, us public schoolies had to wear them too sometimes.
I went with two looks with the footsies, the first being the Metal Pinson boots by Enkythings, as they have an equestrian look to them in their sleek lines, so suited the pants well. The second being the Diva heels by Tesla which I love for this outfit when I took off the stockings and blouse it had such a carefree look to it, very very northshore, but with sensible shoes :p.
The hair oh my the hair, is the Paris style by TRUTH and I am so in lust with this hair, the hat/beanie/floppy thing is just gorgeous, and look how divine the whole ensemble goes together. The hat is colour change on click and its staying black on mine lol I LOVE ITTTT!
Remember all the Gorgeous Liquid Skins shown in this Huge post are by Arcane, and make sure you dont miss out on the LTD Opening skin pack or the 3 fab 1L fat packs of hair this weekend , but save all your lindens because you need to buy everything in this post .
But definitely get to Sweet Sorrow for a really lovely time, strolling around in the spacious courtyard and enjoy the sim as a place where Truth has brought incredibly talented people together to share his HOME!.

SKINS SKINS SKINS Droools, Stand back everyone there is a New Skinner in town, an Aussie to be exact and a real life friend of Truth Hawks.
His name is Ignite Nightfire and Ignite is what he is going to do it you, a spark that will grow and grow and grow, until your so hot! you wont know what to do with your cam, but look at yourself.
The store is called Arcane which means obscure, secret, mysterious. Which can be found thankfully on the Sweet Sorrow sim, which I am going to go into more detail about in this and the next post.
First off you have to be FAST! for a limited time only, Ignite has been so generous for Easter and has a 5 pack of skins in his store for FREE! The LTD Opening skin Pack, has all of the delicious tones in one, and the make up is just divine.Also in the pack you get a face light and brows but that is only a teaser of what is available when you purchase one of the incredible Liquid Skins from Arcane.
The skins come in five tones. Caramel, Creme,Fudge,Ghost and Latte…seriously if it wasn’t for the Ghost I would be sure Ignite was hungry when he named the, and you are going to want to eat them up yourself.
There are Four Make Up ranges in all tones, and they are Colours, Galaxy,Smoked and Vivid. I have shown each make-up in each tone and then doubled up on the Vivid, as its so dramatic seeing it in Ghost and Latte.
What are my favourites? I dont have one because seriously I love every make up and every single tone in this skin, the Ghost is INCREDIBLE, I have always liked the idea of Goth/Vamp skins but they are hard to do without losing something in the shading and not ending up sickly looking…there are some incredible Goth/Vamp skins in SL definitely dont get me wrong. but something about the way Ghost is done is just right for us tan loving folks.
The detailing on this skin is just superb; and the face OMG the face, look at my lips. I don’t know if you want to kiss me, but I want to kiss me *giggle fits* we so need more mirrors in SL, or someone neeeeds to make that animation of fake kissing, you know the one, where you run your own hands down your back and what not lol.
The first thing that I noticed about these skins is the ‘Healthy’ look they have and the overall outdoorsy tones, even Ghost looks healthy. But they really have that glow about them that makes you look well treated, and seriously if you treat yourself to these skins you will be so all about that.Also when you buy an Arcane skin, you not only get brows and lights, but you also get HAIR from TRUTH *squeels* a Shape , omg omg annnnnnd LASHESSSSSS! seriously as Ignite says and I second, the only things you need once you buy an Arcane skin is shoes and clothes, but if you TP home really fast you dont even need those, but you wont want to and I will go into that in the next part of this post.
The hair in this pic is the latest release from TRUTH and isn’t I dont think the one in the pack, but GORGEOUS so Yummy , and its called Polly. The loose curls and sideswept bangs are just divine.
All I can say is GET TO ARCANE , GET THE LTD Opening pack , GO HOME, GET NAKED and love yourself for half an hour in the right sun setting, then RUN RUN RUN back to Arcane and BUY BUY BUY ! Bossy aren’t I ? :oP .
NOTE: the lashes I am wearing in the pics arent from Arcane, so the make-up around the edge of the eyes will be a bit different without them, but thats why we Demo :oP.

I want to be Joan Collins
I have had this incredible dress sitting waiting to be shared for too long, Gentle Creature is a recent release from Big Booty Big Money (BBBM), and it totaly tickles my Dynasty- oh yes I have one, and I bet if you looked or admitted to it you would too 😛 .
This creation is just divine, with its over the top puffed out sleeves, and the incredible feathery fur embelishment on the right sleeve, its all sorts of Joan Collins. When Dynasaty was in full swing I adored her, I also adore her real life sister too, Jackie – Hollywood Wives was the first non kids book I ever read, at um 13 lol.
This dress has all the makings of a magnificent events dress, as I said the sleeves are just incredible, but look at the delish ways you can wear the dress. With both sleeves, without sleeves and with one sleeve, this dress keeps on giving.
I swear I want to make a whole new category for System Skirt Love , this is another case of a designer getting it sooo right.
The shading and length, the texture itself, all of that goes into making system skirts work well.
I am going to too, which means some older posts may appear on the feed,because I found out editing does that, but you will survive I’m sure.
I wanted to draw your attention to the without sleeves pic in green, there is something so sensual about that option, the one thin strap just draws your eyes to the no strap, which with this style of dress looks to me like I am in the process of taking my clothes off, which Joan did sooo well, lol.
There is also a brown version of the Gentle Creature Dress, and I don’t know why, but every time I take pics of all colours I seem to lose one , and I loved that one so much, as its a divine Golden brown which worked fabulously with Tesla Leopard Jane shoes (deserves credit even if you don’t see it ).
In the green I am also wearing Tesla leather Vixens in Avocado– I love where Tesla draws her inspiration for her colours from with her shoes. The hair is Laynie from Bewitched hair, and the tight at top and feathery fullness at the ends style was just perfect, also named after one of our favourite people Laynie Link.
In the black Gentle Creature Dress I am wearing Grable hair by Ingenue, love love love this style, its so incredibly structure just like real hair had to be to create this look. Shoes are the Classy Grey Strap Heels by Digital Dragon Designs, as the dress isnt black black these worked very well and are as the name suggests classy.
The blue Gentle Creature Dress inspired some playfulness with the Babycakes Hair by Tami McCoy of TM Hair, I love how the tails fan out on this style, and all those heavenly bangs allow it to look dressy as well. I am also wearing the Verve blue heels by Maitreya, the style of these shoes is divine and the tan sole or black sole options is fab.
In the Divine Purple Gentle Creature Dress– and yes I said Divine and Purple together lol- I am wearing the Careless style by TM Hair, and the yummy evening Black stitched Silver bag from House of Nyla, this bag is too cute, and has attachments for both hands in case you wear rings.
Lastly the White Gentle creature Dress, this is a very silvery white, which I adore as you know. The shoes are the Volar heels in silver from Adam n Eve,I love how the texturing is done on these, and now I have wind light lol they are even Yummier. The hair is the latest Whispers from Gurl 6 that is on special in the fat pack for a crazy 100L and is just YUMMY.
The skin I am wearing in all the pics is the Kevin Pale by Minnu Model Skins a fabulous eye make up skin with pale lips allowing the colour to come from the dresses.

Big Heart Fabulous Shoes
If you are not already-like me- a HUUGE fan of Enkythings, then today is the day to start.I have over the last year or more spent lots of time in Designer Enktan Gully’s IM Box and one thing I know for sure, is he has not only incredible shoe making skills….BUT a HUUGE Heart. Today that has been shown to the grid in the form of his latest release the Fujin Saena Shoes.
I will share with you that haven’t already seen it his notecard that he sent with the release of these shoes but honestly, when someone this talented creates something and lowers the price and donates it all to such a cause, you know you just have to hurry on over and grab them.
****The Fujin version of the enkythings Saena were a request by ShujinTribble Kawanishi and his ‘End of Cycle for Sarcoma’ team.
In May 2005 ShujinTribble lost his wife Fujin after a near 3 year-long battle against angiosarcoma, an extremely rare form of cancer. She was 34 years old and left behind a daughter and her husband. The ‘End of Cycle for Sarcoma’ team rides in Fujin’s honour..Mimika Oh made a Second Life version of Fujin’s favorite dress, a red cheongosam. The Fujin Saena shoes were made to go with this dress. The dress is available for free on SLExchange, search for ‘Fujin’.

LIV’in La Vida Loca
Not only am I tricky on my title name :P, but I actually spelled it correctly hee hee.You totally have to bare with me for the next few days as I have a new PC and have no idea what I am doing, but DAYUM its a whole new sl for me.
Who knew flexi was that flexi. I am wearing in todays post- one of many I am hoping to catch up on- the LIV Gown from SY Designs– goes looking for my slurls doc.
Seriously everything is soooo weird when you change pc’s. Ok so this beautiful gown as I said is from SY Designs, and I really loved the look of it on Sy’s personal store blog, that I really wanted to share it with you, first off the wonderful sculptie shoulder wrap, that is sheer in texture and structured to fit over the upper part of the body neatly, it is also mod so you are able to stretch it depending on your shoulder width, as I had to.
My next favourite feature to this gown, is the T-back of course, it strikes such an elegant line down your body, and the gown itself just accentuates all your curves on the way downward. Once you do get down this is another feature I adore…Sy made this gown with the full gown skirt, as well as two attachments to the legs so that when you move, because it is a fishtail style…you don’t lose the volume. Thing is though too when striking an elegant pose, it creates another lovely look entirely, well done Sy.
The LIV Gown is definitely striking and you will get a lot of attention with the sexy cutout at the front, wear it to a private one on one occasion, or dazzle your friends and acquaintances at your next social gathering.
I am wearing the beautiful Mollie style from Here Comes Trouble, and the fabulous Grace Heels by Maitreya, they are brown soled yes, but the straps are divine for this kind of look.

Canimal recently released the Allegra dress, in an assortment of rich colours as accent lacing on this stunning LBD.
The dress comes with two skirt options, the first is a one layer mini flex style, and the second is a fuller two tiered style, depending on your mood for the day they both rock it out.
The fab feature to this dress, is the collar and laced detailing up the front and back, even ending through the skirt for a realistic look, nothing is sexier to ‘some’ than the idea of being tightly laced into an item of clothing.
Canimal Zephyr is one of those designers that you can honestly imagine her in RL running around in such items of clothing, Allegra and all of the clothing that Canimal designs just really goes with the type of girl we see a glimpse of in her posts in her own store blog or in the past on fashion blogs.
Also another great feature of the dress is that the top is made on jacket and shirt layer, so that you can wear your favourite shrug or jacket over this dress to add more flavour.
One of my favourite styles of dress whether formal or casual is T-Back, collared style with strip between shoulder blades, this is that style front and back , which having broad shoulders RL and SL is why its a great look, to accentuate and really make your bare shoulders a stunning feature.
There are leggings that go well with the Allegra dress, but I decided to fish around a bit and found some others that worked really well, and wanted to show the versatility of the style. The stripey leggings are awesome and are from Skanks-R-Us and not only have the stripes in similar colours to the dress, but also have fishnet detailing over the top of the stripes, you can see those better if you click the picture to enlarge, or of course just go straight to the store lol
The other Large Fishnets are older than moses in my inventory and I looked up the creator and they do have a store called Brissot Designs , I am not sure if they do still sell the tights but worth a look, as really good large nets are a great thing to have.
The boots are both from Dark Eden the higher ones are the Deimos boots and the shorter ankle boots are the Thetis boots, both yummy styles in all the Dark Eden colours.
The skins by Popfuzz provided brilliant make ups in the Future Range and I love that the cleavage shading is so detailed it highlights the collar laced effect of the dress.
The wild hair is the Peppa style from Diversity Hair which has a click colour chage headband but I dont know anyone who hasnt just kept it black lol. I love the bangs and the spikes on this style so much, its fab fun to wear.

Dark Eden home of a Prim-cess
What I learned today: while talking to Etain she let me know of something VERY important to people that run businesses in SL, about how LL has finaly made it possible to keep more detailed records of what sells where…go to her post on the matter HERE.
Everyone knows I have much love for Etain of Dark Eden, not only as a fabulous lady to be sure…but also as a huge fan of her skills.
She has released for RFL Clothing fair an incredible Latex Jacket in a fabulous assortment of colours (not all shown here) One of them- the pink one -is set up in her RFL Vendor at the clothing fair.
These are absolutely fabulous in design and structure, the colours and texture is yummy..showing how fashionable Latex can be. What I also adore is that for those of us who love mixing Dark Eden pieces with other designers, this just gives us so much more range.
Etain has also made it a dream for us edit disfunctional types, by providing two sizes, and I am wearing the small and didnt have to move, edit, squish , cry over any of the pieces.
What I love the most about this sensational cropped jacket, is the military style buttons, its and just the whole structure of it…you also get the underjacket on all layers in case you need other layers for things. There is also a vest option that is full prim which is fantastic also but not shown, I was getting too carried away with my looks lol .
First off I started with the black seen on the outsides of this pic…I went with the darker look, combining the Kitty top and skirt in black latex from Digit Darkes.
The amazing NEW Enkythings Pinson Metals boots – I am overjoyed that Enktan released these in metalics- The slim fit achieved with prims is and always has been incredible work, and one of my all time favourite hairstyles Zombella, from Old Gravy that unfortunately for the time being isnt open, but hopefully will return, as her styles have always been so unique and fabulous.
With the White Latex Jacket, I decided to become a sexy snow bunny, lol- I dont know what it is but for some reason when I show white I like white hair.The hair is loella by Maitreya, that was a gift on the opening of the sim, but all of Maitreya’s white hair is just divine, actualy ALL of Maitreya’s every colour hair is divine.
The boots are from Digital Dragon Designs and are the funtabulous Snowball boots, I had to have these when I saw them, they are just so fluffy and hardcore all at the same time lol. The jeans I have on are appropriately the Frosted April jeans by Aleri Darkes of Diversity Hair and can be found in her Boutique store inside Diversity.
I love that Aleri made these jeans without belt, and also not too low in the waist, so it was perfect to be able to wear the Adam n Eve Chunky Belt by Damen Gorilla, part of the latest Catwalk Collection release, sculpted yummyness these belts are. The bra underneath is the white leather bra from the Meccanista set from Last Call.
Moving on to the fabulous RFL Pink Latex Jacket. Again the latex and the colour is just divine, so in keeping to that theme I went with more latex greatness, in the form of the Neko Dress from Allessandra that I will feature soon on its own, the texture is INCREDIBLE, and the style is of course super duper sexy.
I wanted to let you know also, that huge post I did on Allessandra and the hotsuit and my comments on finding the right skin etc, well my set was older, there are other tops in the set that will cover ALL skin types.
The hair is Smitten by HCT a wonderful messy style, and the shoes are the incredibly high fabulous Destiny heels by White Rabbit, that come with an abundance of strap options also.
With the Blue Latex Jacket, I wanted to go a bit more casual, showing again the versatility of this fab style, wearing again the April jeans from Diversity Hair in the dark wash option- these jeans come in regular leg and prim attached options, so can be worn with or without depending on what you want your prim count to be that day lol.
The hair is the lovely Lynne2 style from ETD, I just love the tawny texture to bits. The shirt some of you ‘may’ recognise from your mens closet lol, I perved on Mel in this shirt soooo often and just loved how it looked, so when I was at Moderno during the big sale I bought the Bello set , comes with jeans as well and soooo yummy, has a semi sheer and not sheer shirt version, so seriously if you can still grab it get ittttttt.
The belt is the Neon Belt in Blue that matched like a treat from Adam n Eve, and the shoes are the Blue Linen Destiny shoes again, by White Rabbit really perfect heels for pants as they are so tall they dont get lost in prim cuffs.
So you can see from 4 very different looks, how incredible these Latex Jackets truly are, and you are going to love mixing and matching outfits together with them, make sure you grab one or all as soon as you can, but definitely get the fabulous pink, as ALL money from its sale will go to RFL.

When Template Skirts are used for GOOD not Evil
There is always so much debate about the poor template skirt, I sometimes feel very sorry for this unloved and underappreciated little template.I have in the past done posts on some incredible texture skirts done all over SL, and sigh in RL when I hear ladies refuse to even look at them,as there is a big difference between template skirts of old, and the very very good ones.
I also have one or two or maybe more items in my inventory, where someone has used the template in ingenius ways to make an extra layer on an outfit possible, and I LOVE THAT sooo much, and today I am going to share one of those ‘other ways’.
At clothing fair, and I do believe it was directly opposite []::Tuli::[]’s booth is a store called CreamShop , after my amazing find of Gwen, I almost went home, I am SOOO glad I didn’t.
CreamShop has an unusual array of goodies but one item at the back right of the booth beckoned me -ok it beckoned my cam :p – this is the Check Charm Waistcloth , and its incredible…done on YES the template skirt is is low slung draped tartan yummy. The addition of prims for a smoother sash like look drapes fabulously around the hips and is clasped in place by a huge safety pin, not the nappy kind but the kilt/punk kind.
But the delight doesnt end there, as you can see all the wonderful charms attached, anchor and lovely strips of leather cord with divine feathers at the ends, this Waistcloth is as I said a wonderful and innovative use of the skirt template, no flexy just body contoured charm and style.
I went to one of SAZAE Yoshikawa’s CreamShop locations to see if there were more colours than this brown one, which has stunning burgundy and cream through the tartan also…and there is a divine green as well, the men get Grey and Black *POUTS*.To put together this look, I zoomed over to Celestial Studios to get the Cords I should have gotten last time I was there lol, the Burgundy with the skinny leg attachments, I also couldnt resist the Brown Suede Hobo bag while I was there, so then zoomed out and back to posing.
While I was at Celestial Studios her sisters store items where on the wall, the LaLa FooFoo items,and I realised Peeeerrrffect, the Shrugs I got from there a while back will be great, so the burgundy shrug it was, now for a top underneath.
I knew I wanted to break up the burgundy and brown a little so looked to the tartan and as you can see there is a lovely latte/cream colour in there, so remembering that Awesome Designs has latte coloured sets I went to my folder and found the lovely Latte Tank from the Campus 101 set.Knowing Elikapeka thinks her last shoes release looked so wonderful with the Cords, I went to the latest release from ETD of the Hampton Wedges and found the brown pair looked great, that was too easy lol. The skin is the Raj Pandora skin by Adam n Eve and the high shine to the lips went very well with the colours combo of the outfit, the hair to tone it down a bit colourwise is the toffee colour of Gypsy 2 by Truth that I just love and wear often.
So even if you can’t get into the fair but MUST HAVE this wonderful Check Charm Waistcoat, you can go stright to CreamShop and get it with ease, it really is divine and again an incredible use of the template skirt.

Limited Items at Clothing Fair
I just had a comment asking if there were any other ‘Limited’ items, prices etc things going on at Clothing Fair, so that people knew where to go to first.
I am hoping that if anyone does they will use the comments here to let others know, many many of the RFL Vendors are items that are only going to be at the Fair, or colours not available after the fair etc, things like that. DONT MISS OUT on these limited items, if they appeal to you now get them now, as you may not be able to again.
So far I know of
ShadoWiccan Designs : who has the Autumn Breeze Dress, only place in SL it can be purchased and all proceeds go to RFL… Ok just found out that this dress will be available after the fair BUT the awesome Shadow Weaver will only have it for sale at his sim eventualy in a RFL vendor meaning it will always go to charity YAY.
Awesome Designs : Petal Dresses are brand new with sculpted petals and it’s $100L during this fair, that price will change after the fair, so buy them now.
Digit Darkes: Twilight Gown made for RFL and only available during the fair from the RFL Vendor.
Like I said there are sooo many incredible items, every single booth at the fair has one or more items in specialy scripted vendors that all money goes to Relay for Life, if they dont have a vendor that means that a percentage of ALL sales will be donated. GO SHOPPPPPPINGGGGGG!

Breathless
As I have already said today, I spent some time at Clothing Fair, I was really enjoying myself walking down the middle of the path and camming left and right, swinging cam around corners and out again.I came across a booth that had placed its own walls at an angle and went straight through them out to the water, adjusting my cam I ended up freezing, no movement, completely locked up.
Nothing new in SL right ?, this wasnt SL this was me, I dared not move in case I never found this vision again- when you do cam shopping, often you have NO idea where you are lol.
I waited for what was still unrezzed to fully rez, it was already THAT breathtaking, and then it fully rezzed and OMG…….the Gwen set from []::Tuli::[] is incredible, it comes for the time being in three divine colours that are incredibly feminine. As you can see in the pics, you not only get the incredible long gown skirt but also a micro mini version in either no flex or flex.
I spoke to Tuli Asturias briefly once I found this delight, and she does have plans to make it in other colours, but these ones are all MUST HAVES!!!!!! The 70’s inspired set is just heaven, from top to toe there isnt any part of it that isnt incredibly detailed and beautifuly formed, you also have sleeve options too, the ones I have on with the Powder Blue set are the plain sleeves- nothing plain about them- and the Blush and Golden are both worn with the trim.
The shimmery base fabric is stunning but the total love is for the incredible beaded ,sequined and embroidered fabric of the waistband and trim, I could go on and on for days about Gwen, but you really need to be as captivated by it as I am.
I am wearing from left to right, Jackie, Tyra and Lacey..all beautiful styles from ETD, the skins are all by the talented duo of Fleur, and again left to right, Sultry, Blossom and Chaton… I couldn’t get over how perfect Blossom looked with the Blush.
The silver grey shoes are Nana from Enkythings, which brought up the slight silver to the Powder Blue very well.
Do yourself a favour GET THEE TO THE FAIR!
