A little bit different today, but still so much fun.
In the first picture I am featuring some of the styles from Boon and Emo-tions. This will be Boon’s third hair fair now, and he always has a showstopper goodie bag, this year it being the vine shaved hair tattoo, one year it was a balaclava and another it was fire hair lol. This years other showstoppers are his styles, because as usual they are just beautiful.
Emo-tions I have blogged in the past for their wild hawkes etc, and today is no exception, this time with a self drawn tattoo, and the addition of feathers and all sorts of adornments and awesome earrings – not shown. I am actually wearing a panther girl outfit that is actually from way back in 07′ and I knew as soon as I saw the hair what I would wear. The other styles are great, and the one in red has seperate attachments for shoulder pieces so it doesn’t stick in your chest as you move.
Next pic Bliensen + MaiTai , who went from Jewelry to hair effortlessly, the hair theme she has run with this time is based on her ode to time spent in a speakeasy in SL when she first started, and that is so nice and included in a notecard in the hair packs.Very 1920’s themed, that with the top I have on from Vanitas Vesture for Wear Gray it has the perfect match of bead work. Make sure you get over to Wear Gray as it is a wonderful event, there is a link to them in my ads on the sidebar to the left.
I laughed hard when I saw the name of the hair on the right, with head band and all it is called Fonda, after Jane of course the fitness freak. So funny I had to dress in theme. Other hair from Fab.Pony came in the form of hair attachments, with hair bases needed which has become so popular this year.
Next on the left we have Amacci, as usual her work is amazing, and the way her hair is crafted just blows my mind, how the hell do you line up all that alpha and make it make a style how she does. A newer take on an old theme with the school girl look from Nyte n Day , they are having a sale at the moment, so don’t miss out on that, this outfit may not be a part of it, but so many incredible items to grab. The shoes I am wearing are the new Cassandra heels from SLink, very stylish and strappy with an easy to use hud that matched my new skin with ease.
Yay new skins by Idiosyncrasy, Ashia has done some incredible make ups and divine body work on Sonja, so be sure to check out the upcoming release this weekend. Light and dark brows, cleavage options and tattoo hair bases. Caly’s creations came out with some funna styles this year and another style I knew what I was going to wear was the bunneh…so striking and fierce, it just needed this amazing set from Deviance. Whimsy and I had spent all night in WOW once that I dragged her back to SL and said we had to find WOW esque like outfits, this was mine.
Last up is Lollipopz on the left who were a last minute add to Hair Fair this year, lucky we had space because they are so nice, and their hair is really cool. I especially love this marie Extra pack that has all the mixed textures options which go so well with this make up Ashia has in Sonja. Teagan Blackthorne of Savoir Hair also makes hair, and these next two styles are from her…you will have seen her hard work posting all the styles from the fair over the last two weeks, she does so every year and we are so glad. I really like the Daisy darling style, so pretty and fun, using flowers with hair is popular this season and this one is adorable.

She’s having my baby
It is getting so close to countdown for the end of Hair Fair, so hard to imagine how fast the event actually goes by, when you consider how long these can take to get up and running. I am seriously running out of time to post even a fraction of all the incredible styles that are available there, so I think you just need to go buy it all :P.
First pic today features Xplosion, we have all been fans of the work of Xplosion in our group, and especially what she can do with hair. These styles are fab, and I especially love the beadwork draped over in a bindi style finish, very stylish detailing. The store does a lot of banded or cap finished hair, and I am a huge fan of both. Further down you will see my shoes, these shoes are the strangest flats you will ever fall in love with. I would find myself admiring them and not ‘getting them’ so many times and then once on it was love. Newdoll wears hers all the time, and I really need to wear mine more often, the colours available by menu are great, especially the snot green. I have worked out the creator really loves pink and green because there are so many options of both.
Next pic are some very dramatic styles, one from JE republic that is just a charming way of linking hair together, and then MiaMai with the incredible hair and headpiece creation, to be worn with hair base skins or tattoos. The gem work in this and the others featured in their booth are just mesmorising. I am wearing both styles with some more L’Abel clothing by Ivalde, two stunning gowns, one of which is at Modaiva fashion week this week.
Finishing off with some more avant garde hair from L + N Signature, the hair in this store is a must see, if you haven’t been to their main it is very entertaining, Whimsy and SarahtheRed and I once spent ages there admiring the wigs. The hair fair styles are just as fun, and can work casual or dressy, as you can see with my newer Royal Blue goodies and older LeLutka, still so in love with those jeans…and now that Kianna has a prim baby to feed – dodges the smack that is going to cause.

It never rains at Hair Fair
What a day, so Whimsy and I went over to Paper Couture to see the newness again, ended up tping in a whole slew of people from Fashion Emergency which was fun. Then when we were done we went walkabout.
Sofia a while back told us that we just had to go to Ooh La La and I had not had the chance until today. I guess with missing Mel so much it was time to be all girly girl and prepare for his return. This lingerie by Nylon Pinkney is incredible, the textures used, the detailing, all of it is true to the exceptional quality she always produces. The awe factor doesn’t stop there though, the prices are incredible, this is lingerie you will dream about, at a price that will allow you to go and add all the other bits and pieces you may need. Champagne quality at beer prices.
I am again wearing some of the stunning Paper Couture shoes, and there is so much more to love since I worked out they are modify with help from a clued up friend lol. I am going to try my hand at moving the bows to the solids lol stay tuned – if you attempt this make copies first – All of the hair that I am wearing in the first pic is by the lovely Man Lady Bubbles Clawtooth, he was an absolute joy to spend small moments with during setting up at the fair, so fun and vivacous. Clawtooth by Clawtooth hair is every vintage loving girly girls dream store, so to team the three together for pics was a no brainer.
Next pic is me channeling Anya, lol. The hair she has created for OhMai Salon is just adorable and everything you would expect by such a talent. I am so glad that she wanted to be a part of this years fair, there were so many creators this year that came back to making hair, or launched their new lines, its always been a tradition at Hair Fair to do this, and we have always kept those people a secret unless otherwise prompted. We always take that part of being on the committee very seriously, if a designer wants to launch at the fair, we do all we can to make sure that they get to do that…funny how that works, but we are always so honored at the trust in us to do so.
Anyways, rambling, the hairstyles that Anya released are so unspoiled and carefree, the colour names are a classic, and I could not resist wearing fanta, mmmmmmmmfanta. If these styles are her first foray back into hair, then I for one am way too excited about what she will reveal once she reopens her store in a few months. The skins I am wearing in the second and third pic are Tess2 by LAQ and soooo cute. Fresh faced and innocent me lol. They come in all the usual beautiful tones, with gorgeous make ups, and you can of course now get the brow and hair base add ons seperately to enhance your experience. DEMO DEMO DEMO.

Rock Paper Scissors
As I said the other day, I am going to have to run on all cylinders over the next few days, still so much hair to post on, and so many other incredible items being released and what not.
The styles I am wearing in this pic are all from Curio, now Rita wasn’t sure she was going to make it in time, but she certainly got her goods on with these releases. I don’t know what it is, but ever since 2007 Curio always seems to impress me with their short styles at Hair Fair, and of course when it isn’t, there is just something about how Rita gets things to work in that regard. Louise is the type of style that if you were a short hair girl, you wish your hairdresser could achieve. The fun bow and jade styles are fabulous for glitz and glam but also just for getting those stray locks out of the way.
I ran into Neferia Abel of Ivalde earlier today at Modavia, and she has out some charming and elegant styles there at their stall spaces for fashion week. The first look on the left is combining one of her new sets with the pants from last seasons Paper Couture…reason being of course that all the shoes I am wearing are part of their release today and so gorgeous. Yes lovelies, Paper Couture has a new cobbler and the first release is divine, these are just two of the styles and I will show more later…I hope that we don’t have to wait too long between PC releases if these are the kinds of footwear creations they are doing now.
The other great styles from Ivalde are vintage love, the dress in the middle is so stylish and would work for business or pleasure, the dress is the perfect little cocktail number, and even Whimsy was surprised at my all purpleness, but as much as it isn’t my first choice usually, I do like to rock it out because I know how many out there just love it to pieces, plus I look FABULOUS Darlings lol.
Don’t forget that Hair Fair will be over on the 19th so make sure you get there and buy up all the charity wigs, so that you can help Wigs for Kids help a child.

Same tent
Ok today I used my smarts, this post is all under the one tent lol. Which should make it easier to grab everything you can.
Ok firstly we have Jester J’s you will have seen his crazyness if you are in What’s New SL or come to The Deck already. He is the clown with the most annoying laugh EVER…but we love him deeply. He actually made the balloons that are part of the donation kiosks at this years Hair Fair, and those balloons are so amazing in their usual form.
Lets get back to hair though, the first style was made a while ago, in preparation for Hair Fair, and actually before the hair base tattoos craze hit, so I am so chuffed he waited until now to release, because they are the most funna little twist curls, and with the Boon shaved Vine hair tattoo as an under base for those fearful of full bald, its a match made in crazy town. The hair is texture change, and so are the ribbons, incredible prim work on all of these. Then you have the ability on top of that to tint to your own crazy colours. So runway Chic, especially in this insane coat from Modern Gypsy that is a Designers United 4 item, I am so ready for a 1980’s filmclip right now.
The next style is so ‘hair inspired by other things’ looking, to me this style whether intended to or not, looks to me like a trojan helmet, and that is so cool. Again texture change, and me combining the fierce hair with the incredible DU4 items from Royal Blue. Marni has been busting out new releases lately and they are all amazing, this corset has a spine that is just amazing work. You will have to make a copy and edit it a bit, but once its fitted it’s great.
In both pictures I am wearing the new shoes Milano by Adam n Eve, these are their first foray into toe/feet shoes, and they have done a marvelous job. Now if only I can get Damen to add a real pink to the colours I will be happy :P. Easy to use HUD and v2.0 and regular options which is great for all those still not using v2 options.
Next we move to Scribble. Radio worked so hard on creating her styles for Hair Fair, as it has been an age between hair releases for her, and with the releases she did, I cannot wait to see even more in the future. My absolute favourite of the styles featured at Hair Fair was going to be the Cleaning day style, the tied kerchief is so pretty and when the kerchiefs came back into fashion a few years back I for one was a big fan. But looking at all the styles and wearing them with different looks, from cleaning and bumming around the house – omg sock puppet socks – to daytime strolling with friends looks, then onto a night out on the town, the styles that Scribble produced work so well.
Another store to floor me was Calico Ingmann Creations. From way back one of my favourite updo’s was from her store, and I used to love her reds, then Fiachra was a big fan of her facial hair and wore that for an age. Over the years I pop in from time to time, but BAM the hair she has produced for Hair fair is incredible. Not only are the styles amazing but the textures are so pretty, I fell in love with the blonde in the vintage style, but the fire texture in the updo is amazing.
One pic up I went with a bit of a green throughout theme, and the me in the middle has on a beautiful tunique top by SySy’s it was her birthday last week – as well as nearly everyone of her friends, how bizarre they were all born around the same time – waves and blows kisses…the style of this is very folksie which I adore, but the fabric is just beautiful and shimmery also, which is great for casual or dressy.
You may have noticed that lately I am having a big love affair with skirts , system ones are not a new love, but the more calf length flowy style, and these two are OMG awesome, if I could have them in every colour imaginable I would.
In the post I am also wearing a recent skin release from LAQ, the Isabel skin is so petite, the nose on this skin is adorable, and the make ups are fun and playful with a range of natural to out there, I love the eyeshadow options in this skin, so pretty and colourful. As usual DEMO DEMO DEMO you won’t want to miss out on trying this one, she is lovely.

Get out there and Dance
Ok so you have to quickly dash to the credits and such because some of these things are only available until the end of today EEEEEEEEEEEK. I had no clue about this event, until I came smack/bam up to the poster promoting it at one of the stores. So when I came back online this afternoon I quickly dashed to the stores mentioned and grabbed a few goodies to post on, the 25 stores involved in the Adorable Grid Wide Sale all have an item or more out for less than 99L but the sale ends tonight so don’t miss out coz so much of it is YUM.
Ok now don’t forget to come back and read about the rest of the goodies. So the hair I am featuring in the first pic is all from Epoque, Vintage did an incredible job on those that love sleek and sofisticated styles, of course drawing some inspiration from Lady GaGa with the Alejandro style. So in that vein I went with a dancer kind of group setting for my pics. The hair comes with pack huds, so you can swap between colour choices on the run.
I did also buy some non sale items while doing the run around, some of them are in this pic, the set in the middle for instance I couldn’t resist, and of course the panties and gloves, all worked wonders for this look. The top on my back up dancers lol, is from Nyte n Day and it is extremely revealing, I really don’t imagine I would do much dancing in it unless it was gaffa taped to my breasts.
Moving down, I was so excited to see Gurl 6 return to Hair Fair this year, you know it was her that pretty much started the ball rolling on the very first Hair Fair in Second Life that was held at the Panache sim, and if you noticed there is actually a 2006 poster up at this years Hair Fair that Zyrra found and was kind enough to share with us. I love these new styles, and so awesome to see Six using Sculpties, the pixie style on the right could totally be unisexy, and has that just out of the shower look.
The three items in this pic are the ones I grabbed from the Adorable event, the dress in the middle is Sassy Kitty designs, and the two bodysuits are from PIG, the much loved Olivia bodysuit without the ruffles.

Mama don’t preach
You try to do all you can, you make sure they leave the house with clean undies on. Put bandaids on their cuts and bruises when they fall…flash the front porch lights on and off when they spend too long saying goodbye to a boy. Sometimes when setting up a shot, another shot just pops out and makes you snort, and this one was perfect without even trying. All of the incredibly designed hair I am wearing in this pic is from Curio Obscura, formerly famous for so many incredible things, that to be able to top that this year is amazing. The puzzle hair is a challenge and a half, so much so that I still haven’t worked it out back to normal, it is the rubiks cube of hair. The carousel hair really moves and is such a delight, it even plays music…but the standout has to be the telly tower, not only a favourite of any nuclear house wife, but it has the ability to show the profile pics of those that click on it, asking permission first off course. Wear Gray has started, this event has been dreamt about and organised for months now. The contact person I know of is Sanura Snowpaw, and her dedication to this cause has been beautiful to watch from afar. There are so many wonderful exclusives that you can see teasers of on the website. I have not been in world long enough to get over there this weekend, but cannot wait to attend.
Today’s post was supposed to be yesterdays, but I logged off for a day due to RL. The hair is all from Dernier Cri, their Hair Fair styles are just beautiful, and so luxurious. I decided to wear them with the Dernier Cri skins Charlotte which I haven’t worn for a while and just love, ever since it was a gift skin for halloween in its Zombie form. Dernier Cri has the dye pack system that just makes changing hair colours a breeze, it has changed a lot since the original conception of it, and rightly so, as Asuka has been sure to keep up with todays wants and needs of the residents of Second Life.
It has been interesting watching how Dernier Cri has evolved especially as it came in island and all from the teen grid, Asuka has always been an inspiration on how to do things the right way.
All of the clothing – except the shrug – I am wearing is new Fishy Strawberry content, Fae has been absent for a while, and noticibly so, but this new release more than makes up for it, the style and detailing is superb, and I always love when she releases accessories, and these belts are just great.
Bandana Day will be the 19th of September, if you haven’t already purchased your bandanas from Hair Fair, make sure to go back and grab lots for you and friends. They are scattered around the sims, but also on two of the main sims pathways down the middle. 50L each and transfer, and such an incredible showing of resident unity.

Pie’s Anyone
Now we all know by now I could talk underwater with a mouth full of marbles, or so people keep telling me. But as I will be spending every single moment I can taking pics of all the incredible hair from Hair Fair that I can, I may have to talk a little less – waits until the cheers die down to continue. I am going to fail miserably though I just know it, too many beautiful things to talk about.
For instance this years Bishwear release of hair would have to be my favourite to date. The elegance and fun, combined with really pretty hair textures is just wonderful, mind you one being called roach – the hair texture not the hair – makes me shudder just a touch. Sweeny is definitely magnificent, so get on down to their booth and grab all the goodies.
Whippet & Buck has had a big showing on my blog this week, and always deserving, this top is no exception and totally beautiful, I wish I had included a back image. You can either wear one layer for a sheer effect or stack them for the more conventional, but either way this LE Look exclusive is just YUM. If you do not have the One Boy set from Ingenue, you best be heading over there, both skirts in the pic are part of that set and it is all win, what is not to love with a bustle skirt as fine as that one.
The skin I have on is the latest The Dressing Room skin from Tuli, this is Helena and she has a perfect for vintage wear make up and just a wonderful all over skin. Incredible price point too, so if you aren’t already a die hard Tuli fan, try this way and become one.

Join hands and hearts and voices
I saw this coat earlier today on someone and squeeled, tp’d over to the store, and squeeled more to find out it was a gift item, I have a jacket like this in red and white in RL, but the navy is so classy. The fun thing is that even though it seems to have been created for more of a school look, with my more mature looking av it came off making me look like a cruise director, or one of those employees at a resort, like the place baby and her family went to in Dirty Dancing, because I have been humming that stupid Kellerman’s song for the past two days, and it is seriously sending us all mental.

The blazer is from SF Designs, and this colour is the gift one, but there are others available. The even more funny part was that all the hairstyles from Beetlebones are such preppie looks, that work both vintagey and the good side of sacharin sweet. Beetlebones textures are lovely and as far as I remember from chats before Hair Fair, they are redone from previous.
I am wearing a newish skin from Adam n Eve called Jasmine, it comes in four tones and all the usual add ons that Adam n Eve provide, lots of exciting new skins coming out of there lately. DEMO DEMO DEMO
