No Regrets
The other night, probably for the 100th if not more time, I had a flashback to a regret. The regret was not buying something in Second Life, that ended up being a limited edition item. For the nearly four years since as it was a 2007 item, I have remembered it fondly and jealously…wishing that I hadn’t hesitated, thinking that it would be around another time, I also wish I had read the bloody sign that obviously must have said ‘Jewelry Fair item only ” or something like that.
So rather than scream from a tall building I took the regret to plurk, asking others if they also had purchase regrets of things they ‘didn’t’ buy, thinking like I did that it would be around long enough to get it ‘later’. I plurked the regret, even finding an old blog post pic from Fashion Victim Blog and it was even more beautiful to me in pic form, but I had never actually forgotten it, or even for that matter made it shinier and prettyer in my memories, it was exactly as it was.
On reading back through peoples responses I found that Chav Paderborn had responded with regretting to not buy a Canimal skirt, one which I knew of immediately, it used to actually be set up to buy right at the begining of her store, so you saw it every visit, and I had blogged it a long time ago. I rushed to my inventory and there it was, and even better it was transfer, so I sent it sailing in the direction of Chav with best wishes, to be able to fix that regret made me so happy.
Today I stopped in my tracks as a drop down appeared and my heart beat faster, and instant tears welled in my eyes, it was the Paper Couture set but not only was it the one that I had always wanted, but it was being given to me by an Angel, the beautiful and so generous always Milla Michinaga.
She is not only an exceptional blogger, designer and all round beauty, but she has always been so amazing to me. One of my fondest memories regarding her, is at a fashion show held about a billion years ago, and her and I were both there with many other bloggers and customers, it was so laggy while we waited that every so often one of us would crash come back resit and end up upside down in the corner of the sim – remember that delightful bug . While there Milla was being very cheeky and she tried to steal my inventory – yes I remember – and today she added to it in the most giving of ways, the set is beautiful, not only that, but it is something she cannot replace, something that didn’t loose it’s lustre and something I will always remember….thank you Milla you made me cry with such joy today.
So I was thinking, what do you regret not buying, because I would love to hear about it …..
Now for things I have that rock, these Magnifico boots I have had for ages, and blogged eons ago, but was looking at them the other day and thought, damn they are so incredibly textured and made, they need to sashay around my blog all over again.
Mixing them up with some great items from Nyte n Day, Decked is series that has the skirts and pants, tanks and long sleeved tops, I decided to incorporate those with the torn jeans and very very cute flexi skirt…adding to the overall looks the incredible new bodysuits from Royal Blue, these are done in a series of solid colours in varying shades of block colours, they are just wonderful for adding to any look, either under a top or over, or just worn on their own with skirts or pants.
Wearing the last and most recent releases of hair from Elikatira, the new Here style of a tight low back bun is going to be a favourite of many, I had a particular squeeling moment with Marni yesterday when it came out, it is such an awesome professional looking style, that works so well for those in business in SL. Frost is the style that was recently in a hunt, and of course everyone wanted it in all colours, so yay for that. Make sure you grab them all, no regrets ;).

Jasmine smells of sweetness
Themed skins are not that common with established skinners, but Gala Phoenix always has such a knack at incorporation both a themed look and a regular every day look for Gala lovers. The make up is incredible, and the gloss as usual on the lips is superb, but it is the asian look that will have many an asian girl or lover of asian looks squeeling with glee.
As usual this skin is shown on my shape, so you can see that even with no body tweaks at all, it is still incredibly asian looking, so if you have a no mod shape you are still good to go , but of course DEMO DEMO DEMO. I was considering doing the whole Geisha kimono thing, but then was feeling a bit wilder and went with this remorseful killer look. Because even though I just killed dozens of people – they deserved it of course – I am sad that I had too. Actually my Prince Mel helped by providing me with a gorgeous Katana to hold onto, actually no transfer but with the power of edit, we were able to line it up right, and the Olice Juice pose with a bit of animare tweaking came up just perfect, it was actually the pose that made the image come to mind.
Often is the case with poses, and I do often adore how completely different ideas can come to mind than the pose was intended for. They may create a set of la di da dancing poses and I see someone reaching for a jar of peanut butter in the kitchen, hair in rollers and family waiting for their toast at the table. It is fun to find more out of what can sometimes be limited.
The Gala skin will be out sometime later this week, so keep your eyes open for that release.

Swanny
Using another Second Life Stock Image created by the wonderfully talented Cajsa Lilliehook, they are so much fun to use, and seeing as I usually shoot on white, made my life easy peasy lol. So last night I got to meet up with a whole slew of people, and I was wearing this outfit so that I didn’t forget to.
It is a stunning cocktail dress with many beautiful ruffles and a lovely cinch waisted look. The top without the ruffles is so nice you could easily wear it with longer skirts or dress pants. I was fixated with the Nymph hair attachment hair yesterday, It came with the Lola skin to my recollection, but it is so beautiful I just had to wear it with Kit. There is something in the air at the moment, maybe I wanted to look like I would for a date, with the upcoming Valentines Day around the corner, whatever the reason, there is never a bad time to feel beautiful and Second Life definitely provides the resources.

V for Vanitas
Vodka, Midori and Pineapple Juice delish.
Now Vodka starts with V and so does Vanitas Vesture, hee hee I am so corny. The fabulous creations usually have what appears to be hand drawn fabric patterns, which I love, and such girly girl looks to them all, the tunic in red is super short and probably should be worn with leggings or pants etc, but I had to get my inner sexpot happening. There is something for all in Vanitas Vesture, and Sarah has such a great colour pallette going on that mixing and matching is cake.
Look at the yummy shoes, these are the latest OC shoes Chandra, wicked colours and as usual a fantastically easy peasy HUD. Not only can you choose the colour of the sole and heel you are wearing, but you have black or wood options too, so you get more bang for your buck.
I am still wearing Kit the recent release from LeLutka, and soon coming will be her more mature sister skin Gem, which GoGo has been doing some teases with the past few weeks. I love the maturity of Gem, but Kit and Natasha are my favourites for now lol. DEMO DEMO DEMO.

Long Walk
A quickie post for now, feeling incredibly sexy for 1am on a monday morning is odd for most people, but then again, I have to confess to it not being the first monday morning I have been roaming around in clubwear, ignoring the fact that outside the doors a new week and a new day is begining.
The other day I showed the Red Mint skins, I am not sure that I mentioned that the matching prim nails come with, random colour set with each skin, but now with the latest release of some stunning Red Mint hair we have elf ears that not only look fantastic, and have wonderful piercings etc, but also a handy hud to match each and every skin tone that Red Mint have in their line.
Elate has just brought out these beautiful shrugs, they are done in a metalic square sequined look, they are really fun to wear as shown in a clubby look, but also make such lovely formal shrugs over the top of gowns and/or cocktail frocks. All the gold and yellow really worked for me, with the black contrast, but all good club looks need some killer shoes, and the tough love boots rock that out, they have a wedge platform style base, which for me means that extra support you will need for dancing and that long walk home because the stupid cab companies always seem to swap driver times at the exact times nearly every club closes its doors, leaving nothing but cast roads to walk down….WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?

Hee hee Whippet & Buck have out a dress (NOT SHOWN) and the nifty unisexy long sleeve shirts, I am actually wearing the mens version so that you can see that the shading is done for men specifically, and the ladies have their own too, it is not just one shirt worn two ways. Anywho, while I was there I poked my head inside and saw the Phoenix Shift dresses that I didn’t have until now, and yum system skirt love as usual. This dress is fabulous, and the colours it comes in made a fat pack necessary.
I am showing some Tesla foot love today, have you all noticed she is back, not only giving away ducky avatars as gifts at her store, but also making special pose props, now you all just have to send her some love and encourage the shoes/boots. The lovely floral top I am wearing is another flf item from So Many Styles, so perfect in colour to wear with my Jade set from Essentia, and all that green made getting both colours of the Clawtooth and Clawtooth flf hair a must as well.

Apple Bottom
Whimsy says I forgot my skirt, I on the other hand know it is there and she is just being an old lady – lol she does of course know I type these things about her at the time of typing, as we are in voice. Red Mint was a surprise to me, a great one in fact, being a Red Queen fan already as many of you know, to suddenly find out there was a new sister type brand, that is lighter and brighter in build but still connected to the fabulous compound that is rQ.
The skins I am wearing are their latest release, and wowza, these are amazing, not just for the incredible bursts of colour, but even the tan versions with the face paint look are sexy as hell. I was having a great time not only dressing for them, but tinting my hair and squeeling in delight that the new GOS boots have a great teal that worked so well with the Acqua version of the skins. If you want to try the skins before you buy, not only are there demos, but you can also join their group and grab the group gift in their store, hopefully still there.
Now about these boots. First off you not only get solid colour options, but suede and leather, or exciting as it is, a combination of both. You can change the buttons or zipper from metals to fabric colours, and the sole and heel also have colour change and style change options, giving you either a chunky heel, wedge or stiletto. These boots can have you entertained for hours and hours with all the possibilites.
All of the super sexy clothing – ok not ALL but I love the bolero from LeLutka so much I had to wear it again lol -Â I am wearing with this post is from Cynful, a combo of new and older, with the wonderful new leather skirt and tank, the skirt comes as a really low slung or a hipster version and is actually the work of Beertschi Lytton, newish designer for the Cynful brand, and now I finally know why one of the dresses of the past was a combo name with Beer, which was so odd to me at the time lol. The skirts show off how incredible the skins bum shading is, honestly I now understand apple bottom.
Stunning hair by Exile as usual, and so much fun colour wise, it was easy to tint the blue hair so I had that red blue combo thing going on, and I got to show better that there is in fact a braid running down the front, that is not so visible from afar in the same colour.I need more exile hair, I am thinking something dead straight next thanks :P.

Make a statement
So many incredible footwear releases this week, starting of course with the much anticipated Elite & English boots by Royal Blue. If you are a follower of Royal Blue you will remember that Marni Grut has been spending the last few years as both designer for her own brand as well as LeLutka.
Definitely sharing with us her UK origins with these incredibly authentic looking Riding Boots, you will not be left out in the cold stuck in a bog as long as you have a pair or three of these handy. Not only for women these are adjustable with ease for the horse breeding men folk too. I adore the colours they have been released in, and if we are lucky and everyone buys them all, maybe she may consider some more.
They look fabulous with the min nutary pants without the bloomer attachment portions, but also with these new released harem style pants from Fishy Strawberry, how cool are they, while they don’t have the proper lower portions on at the moment due to the boots, take my word for it they are fabulous. Coats and Shrugs, you can’t go past the last release of LeLutka without drooling over something or other, but the bolero shrugs in faux fur had me at rawrrrrrrrr.
Kit is the new face coming to LeLutka in the next day or so, and the all in one pack is just perfect. Eight skins that are base and 7 make ups with the gorgeous dark hair base option for all, my fav feature on top of all that is the NEW curl lashes that will have you begging for more – and believe me there will be more – but these that are now the come with skins packs curl lashes, are to die for. Sculpted lashes four lashes to a prim are so incredibly easy to fit, and colour change options at the click of a button, but seriously OMG the fit and look of these is remarkable, you will never take them off.
Dita Tran of Fashion Emergency and the famous former Model of some of the biggest agencies in SL has just opened her Jewelry store Fulo, her first release includes the statement earrings I am wearing now, bigger than texas these earrings are just YUM.

Everything Old is fun
Neener Neener Neener you can’t have meeeeeee….Yay for Achariya coming up with a very cool challenge. Something old, that may be from a store that is no longer in SL, or just items that the designer has MEANLY discontinued and not added to marketplace lol. Ok the look on the left, first off Hair, Old Gravy when I discovered its manhole in the ground I fell instantly in love, the hair back then was priced dependant on the uploads it took to make it, and there were no demos, it took about a year to get demos, but regardless of price changes and store builds relocating every few months, I was a huge fan, and this is one of my favs, hiding hoar hair, just because it is also awesome to say…alas no more Old Gravy, but I pray for its return.
The Gothica latex is some of my favourite hands down, but again another store gone bye bye, this set came with so many options, and luckily hotpants options so that I could ditch the skirt glitch latex that was too different and go with them. The half tulle skirt was always my most favourite of the wicked collection from Digit Darkes, if you ever saw it you may or may not know it was all inspired by the Wicked Musical and so well done.
Some of you will remember when Domestic V skins were suddenly all boxed up and sold for like 100L for the pack, and there were so many of them, well while trying to do this challenge I found mine and this was the first I pulled out and what a win. Once upon a time Mel and I were looking for Ballet Boots, Whimsy’s least fav thing ever lol, we tease her so much, but all the places we went to were blech, then I looked in search and there was such a pretty build in the pic that I thought ooo they must have good stuff and for the time they did. Alas another closed sim, but we have memories, especially as Newdoll did some incredible Shibari rope pics in their shibari room, you can check them out on her Flickr.
The look on the right is a bit of a mix, deviant kitties may still be around with Ploom now their rebrand, but not everything was moved over, the hair Anette my all time fav is a gorgeous updo style, that I hope she recreates one day, and the skin is from a million years back, so much so I originally blogged it on Appearance Mode. The outfit is all GLAM, which became VG Republic and I am not sure if it is anything right now, or changed yet again, because for sure it has changed and deleted whole collections so often its just WRONG. SKG another closed store made amazing sculpted shoes, and used to do a 5L colour each week of a different style, I unpacked my boxed ones, and the next thing I know I had heel clicks EEEEK, so funny because I did a mad dash somewhere the other night in this look and got totally busted by Celebrity Trollop, so embarassment. At least I got to tell her about the challenge lol.
Every single thing including lashes and eyes and so one are not available, but it was sooo much fun just doing a post to do it. Thanks Achariya ♥

She bangs
Ok first off I am a dork, I managed to somehow hide the fact that the lush red berry top on the left actually has a keyhole cutout at the neckline. So as good as it looks now, it is actually even better.
I got to relog into some great news tonight, and also found Whimsy and Newdoll in world, so it was all win. I love when we can companionably stand on our VR Studios a few metres from eachother and do our stuff, it actually makes blog pic taking so easy, and faster, just because there are no needs for other distractions.
Good timing tonight by Lexi from Stellar, the Skinny Jeans will be released tomorrow and these are fun and totally in keeping with Stellars ongoing tat print looks. You get both tat print and non printed versions, in all layers and with cuffs, but I opted for sliding them inside the provence boots from Mon Tissu. The two incredibly soft and supple tops I am wearing are from Ingenue, a little layed back and casual with jeans, but you can totally dress them up as they have that twinset look going on which I love, especially the grey with the cute buttons down the back.
Lover is a new style by Lamb, it to me being a big fan of the bang styles feels as though it is the big bang bob grown in length lol, which is all win. I am wearing some skins by Mayden Couture called Raiji, they are lovely in the face, the lipstick though for me is a bit caked on, but that could just be more my mouth shape, so Demo Demo Demo.
