Body hugging items are fantastic, especially when it is hugging the Slink Physique body, such as this incredible skirt by SySy’s does. High waisted pencil skirts are killer sexy, and this one going below the knee to give a tight seductive look, is all that and a bag of chips. The high waist allows for wearing a cropped top look, without baring anything other than your curves and not your skin, unless you want to. I love the style, and it comes in three options at this round of My Attic. The sweater I am wearing also from My Attic, is by Tutti Frutti and also has a striped versions, that are just so cute, going into Autumn, when needing a little more warmth in your look.

Moving down to the footwear, these sexy high feet shoes are Statice by Glamistry, available at My Attic also, and that means you just have to get all these things while the prices are incredible. The detailing, the texturing is all on par with elegantly sexy footwear. You have different options to access, and there is a hud that allows for all sorts of options. The heel on these is extreme, in that wonderful way, and supportive enough in the sole so that you can wear them all night, and into the next day, if the mood strikes you.

I am wearing Elizabeth hair by Lelutka, and the flicky style is so pretty and casual. I can see wearing this all the time for some that do like to commit to one style for the long haul, a go to hair for the rest of us. I had a hard time deciding on the colour, but I really love how rich it looks in the dark browns, so went with that. I do so love the choices we get to make when it comes to hair, I think that in many cases, it is the capture for many when starting Second Life, Hair was definitely my first love and addiction.

My Attic is now OPEN and I am so excited about the way in which the designers embraced this theme. I always tend to go with themes that are loose enough that the items will adapt into their store after the event really well, and it is always really interesting to see what comes of it. The theme this round is “Between the Lines ” and the Frang Purse by David Heather is the most amazing bag I have ever seen. You often see bags refered to in Movies or TV Shows as being the bags worth fighting for, or having to order in advance and pay exhorbant amounts of money for, and honestly now seeing and wearing this bag, I get it. This is the MUST HAVE bag, and as all items at My Attic it is only 95L during the event. There is unrigged and rigged versions, as well as Male and Female, so get on it.

I am wearing the Sidelines dress from Girl Thursday and the wrap around look is so sexy and it fits over the body well. There is clipping in my shape when walking, but I don’t need to walk, I just need to feel fabulous, I have also decided, I would rather have something that looks good and moves well and clips a little at the leg, than something that is made badly and alpha hides that it is rigged badly etc. This will differ shape to shape, and if you don’t wear a body you will have the alpha options. The dress, the bag, and the stunning hair by LeLutka, with the gorgeous jewellery that is at this round of C88 by LaGyo, all come together so well with the addition of the beautiful shoes by Bushu for My Attic. The shoes have stunning leather and strap work, and work with the Slink High feet, and I am loving the styles coming out of Bushu, so stay tuned for more in this brand, a new brand to keep your eye on.

I have taken my head off again, because there is no resisting the fact that League now has body appliers for the Slink Physique Body. I was so excited about this, to be able to put back on a skin that is so familiar to me. I am also looking forward to the release of her Visage appliers that are planned for the future. Nena has actually made her appliers work on the head and neck patch so that they go all the way up, there just is no face as of yet, so I did not have to take the neck patch off and it works very well.

I love when creators use elements of Second Life in their work, something that makes sense only in SL but can make you chuckle or empathise a lot. I remember watching the movie “The Castle” and when the lawyer was fighting with the photocopier, everyone in the cinema related to it – well those of us that have ever had to use one in a work situtation. That is what this Neon Sign by The Loft is like, ‘Keep Calm and Reset Scripts’ we can all relate to the feeling of panic when something scripted doesn’t work, and all the flapping until your brain kicks in and you realise you can just reset it and it will work again. I think this sign needs to be prominant in many stores in SL, just so customers know it is an option.

Anyone that has ever read my blog for any amount of time over the years, will know that I have much love for Hat/Hair. This latest style from LeLutka is a stunning style, sophisticated and just spot on perfect for the upcoming seasons. The hat has a texture change option of six colours, and while this colour was not originally my first love, it went so perfectly with the leather leggings by Emery. I am so in love with the two nude colours of champagne and provence.

The belted blazer I am wearing is by Fashionably Dead, it is featured at this months Collabor88. It has fabulous wide shoulder pads, very 80’s and there are some incredible metalic colours available. I was actually really torn with buying the black or the silver, but decided I will get more wear out of the black, and definitely more combination options.

The mid feet wearable Ankle Booties style shoes from Essenz are their New York shoes, so fierce and perfect for a pants wearing look. The zipper is available in silver or gold, and I should have worn the gold, because of the zipper on the beautiful clutch by Ison, but I was having a rebelious moment….If after all these years we can wear blue and green together, and brown belts with black etc, then I can use silver and gold together.

I have removed my head for the first time in months, it took me some time to get used to seeing my default face, and worth it to have a romp around in the Pink Fuel Group Gift skin for this month – if you are not in the group, you better hurry. I wore it with one of the luscious lipsticks that Pink Fuel makes in a glossy red – wearing the with teeth visible option. I have been meaning to wear the Pink Fuel skins for some time, as they released Physique appliers with many different options of stomach and breasts, which is very cool, especially for those that like a more athletic body look. You have the options of Regular, Regular + Small Chest, Athletic, Athletic + Small Chest, Ripped , Ripped + Small Chest and Curvy. Great options, and now I just have my fingers crossed that Pink Fuel will eventually release Visage head appliers too, I would love to see her skins on the Slink Head as well.

One of the stores that I don’t blog often enough is Miseria, and that is appaling of me. I love her work, always have, but she tends to take little breaks and then I get sidetracked. Lately though she has been creating beautiful mesh items, and I fell instantly in love with the Bliss sandals by seeing a snapshot of them over someones shoulder during a plurk the other day. I ran right over to Miseria and snapped up the fatpack as they are not just a great slip on style, but it is the attention to detail in them that I love. The shoe doesn’t just have thong straps but they wrap all the way around the shoe giving a support kind of recessed fit to the foot, and they just look adorable on. Not only adorable on, but adorable off, I love that she went through the effort of making them a rezzable item as well, perfectly baking shadows of the straps, that just look so pretty I had to picture them as well.

While there I also fell for the Buffy skirt, I mean seriously it is a skirt that is just Buffy all over, and it fit beautifully with the Physique body, so well in fact that no alpha was needed at all with my size. Topping off the look, I went with some appliers layering with the great knot tshirt by Tee*fy. Again working so well with the body, and without any need to size up. I love when mesh is that well made that it just works.

I am wearing a new skin to me today, I have often wanted to try a Pink Acid skin and realised that their body appliers were only 1L and the head appliers are really cost effective as well, no make ups or any options but it worked for me. What didn’t work though is something I have noticed on a few appliers makers, that the nipples don’t line up with the nipples because of artistic license on where they are placed on the original. Please check this against the product you are putting them on please creators, because it is a bit of a let down, regardless of price if not wearable in all situations. So this skin for me will be a clothes only option, but other than that error, the skin is lovely.

It is interesting though, things like that, I have noticed it a lot lately. Like my old post, to shave or not to shave, where I lined up the hairline of dozens of skins, oh what a post that was. I have noticed that over the years things like belly buttons, nipples and ladyparts, all have a strange wiggle room by some creators, and with the template being layed out as precise as it is for creation on, it is surprising in some cases, I am guessing it is just for a little bit of ‘difference’ to the “norm”.

 EDIT – I have spoken to Stasey about the skin and she is going to look into fixing it today, which is an awesome response so quickly, I am really looking forward to it ♥

The heels are for the Slink high feet, and HIGH is an understatement, the heels on these are wickedly sexy, and MUST HAVES! The theme for this round is Miami Electric, and the shoes have that in abundance.

To show them off, I knew that BOOM would not let me down. Firstly I found my own Neon based nails I did for Flair and even though usually not a fan of the purples, I loved the neon orange and purple combination in set 12. So with that in mind, I went and found the violet shorts and tangerine bikini top, and together they are just fun and a fabulous way to sign out of summer.

The hair from Ploom is New for the we <3 RP event that is going on right now, and it has additional strands that come down from it, but this shorty bob, was so cute, and in the violet that matches the shorts, it has that Alias wig thing going on that I love. I took a spin at The Arcade, directly running for the Yummy machine and squeeled with delight at RINGS! they are fabulous royal inspired rings, and you need to just keep on spinning to get as many of them as you can, they are all fabulous.

So run around, get your bits and pieces, and start formulating your go to neon stash – that everyone should have – and prepare yourself for one electric c88 this month.

I love old studies, those really leathery and wood filled rooms, with large leather-bound books and brandy decanters on the trolley bar in the corner. They are in all those old movies and power fueled movies…they are the epitome of success, and this framed map and stone key table from this round of C88 really give that vibe. Adding  a light feminine touch with the vase of beautiful flowers.

I am wearing the NEW Maitreya 80’s jumpsuit that was released yesterday and joy of joys, fits the Slink Physique body really well. The lemon animal print is perfect to go with the new sawtooth flats by L.Warwick that are at this months Uber event, mixing the grey and yellow, with the yellow, black and white.

The jumpsuit has a casual elegance that allows you to wear it with this wonderful gold necklace by Pure Poison, and the flats make it easy to wear day into early night. Add some earrings, some bracelets and some high heels and you would be spending the night dancing until the wee hours.

The hair I have on is the NEW The Arcade style by Exile, and the long tendrils from this stunning french twist style are so cool, it looks as though it is an asymetrical style at first, until you look at it closely, and you are going to want to look at it as close as on your own head.

Whimsy and I decided to share the wonderful fluffy sweaters and divine leather leggings by Emery for this round of Uber. The clothing fits the Slink Physique body without any need for alterations, just the alpha options and I am ready for action. The Shoes I am wearing are from Essenz and are part of the Rock the Rack event. They are platform style but using the mid feet by Slink that makes them just perfect for dancing the night away, and the metal comes in gold or silver accents, so definitely must haves for co-ordinating with your favourite jewellery pieces or even other metal options on clothing such as buttons or zippers.

The hairstyle is by Tableau Vivant and part of Fantasy Collective event and comes with a super sexy tophat that I didn’t wear this time around, but definitely will in the future, as I love me some hathair. So with all these events on and starting up, make sure you pack a lunch and hydrate often, and have a great time exploring the grid.

Diva is the word with this lovely lacey bodysuit by Sn@tch, it comes with system layers and all the appliers this blogger needs, with them having both the underpants and the clothing layers of the Physique body covered. The highneck and long sleeves style had me straight away – but thanks to the left arm right arm toggle option on the Physique hud I was able to make it short sleeved. It was definitely the hotpants style of the lower portion made it an instant MUST HAVE item. I can see this being my new go to run around SL option for a long time. I even played around with some older flexi just for giggles to see if I could turn it into a formal affair, and teamed it up with some dress pants for a sexy business atire look.

But with the Pagan sandals from Bushu, I had to show a lot of leg and these beautiful snakeskin heels that fit the Slink high feet. Bushu is a NEW Brand and the footwear being released so far is excellent, I cannot wait for more. These especially are splendid for all kinds of fashionable combinations, from elegant to casual, because even with a pair of skinny jeans these definitely rock it as snakeskin often does.

Finishing off the look the beautiful long back from the shoulders style by Tableau Vivant that is at this months Collabor88, you don’t have that much time left to get it while the getting is good. The style also comes with a lovely crown, but this is an super sleek style that will be a firm favourite for many I am sure, and with the off the chest style of it, a definite must for those that do a lot of appliers wearing, or just for perfect product photography.

It has been a few weeks since I have done a blog post, and a lot took place. The latest UPDATE to the Slink Physique Body took place, and if you do not have 1.4 you need to get over there and redeliver it so you can have all the new features. There is a full notecard of changes included, and the new hud is a really attractive looking hud, maybe more so because we all get to look at Siddean in her undies.

One of the most saught after updates is the alpha zones now turn off front and back instead of the previous left and right. I have obviously not had as much problem finding clothing that fits with my body, as I have only worn it with everything since the release, so I was doing ok, but this new ability to hide the back definitely opened a whole lot of doors to older items. We also have a few more alpha areas at the waist/bum area, so lower pants are just perfect.

Other features are sheen and droplets, which are making use of the fantastic new abilities to control materials through scripts, that will open up a whole slew of possibilities for creators. There is even an option for clothing details that will mean designers that will want to use added options for realistic looking clothing will be able to do so with the appliers they can create for the body…I am really looking forward to seeing how that works in the future.

Alpha Mask buttons have been also added, which are a work around for the Alpha Sorting (Z fighting) that SL has issues with…giving those that want their tattoos and clothing, or underwear and clothing on different layers to actually work with the help of these additions in the HUD. To use the masks you use the mask that pertains to the upper option of wear – if wearing clothes over tattoos you would use the clothes mask, undies over tattoos, you use the undies mask – the good thing is that you can toggle to your hearts content while you work it all out.

They also added a neck join gradient patch that you wear if you are wearing the SL default head, so that you don’t see a join and you can tint it to match your own skin, this may even come in handy for those that don’t have physique appliers for the body, but find something close enough from another creator, they can tweak the in between – possibly. This time around the neck portion that you wear if you wear the slink head is a separate attachment, this could also come in handy for other heads, not sure on that though, I haven’t taken my Slink Visage off in some time, maybe I will have a play later on and let you know.

Now speaking of heads and bodies, the NEW Visage appliers by Deetalez are the ones I am wearing today, and of course the appliers for hands, feet, and body. The body parts appliers are all in the one location in the store, but the heads have their own area, to avoid confusion for those that have not seen the head light yet :P.

Laura is a stunning face, I am wearing the powder B1 package, that has thinner brows than the B2 package, I actually like them both a lot, and may go back for the other but in the glossy version. You have to pay attention to what you are doing there, as there are B1 Matte and B2 Matte, and then B1 Glossy and B2 Glossy. Then you have eyeshadow mini hud, which has a fantastic smokey eyes, and a catliner look. The main head hud has 5 brown options , one of which is no brows. Then you have freckles and moles option, clear option and an incredible beauty mark look that is very European and striking….then four lipstick options and a natural look. Between all of this it is incredible value as options, and you only have to purchase the body, hands and feet appliers once.

I was scrolling through Zaara’s MP Store and dove into my inventory to find the Sana chintz jacket – we use MP and stores Flickr as visual inventory aids – the jacket fit the body beautifully and even allowed for the wearing of the Natasha bustier underneath, I didn’t even have to go sizes up to fit them, they fit like a dream and minimal alpha needed.

I knew instantly what pants I wanted to wear with them, and I hadn’t tried these with the body yet, but they fit everywhere perfectly except the lower legs. Nothing to do but tweak my shape a little in the leg muscle area, that would have been what my legs looked like without the body anyway as the shape of the pants dictate anyway…so it was as simple as sliding down and Save As name new shape Maitreya pants and I was done.

The colours of everything once the jacket went on were just fated, the shoes by Maitreya that are at this months C88 just brought it all home. These sandals are so Maitreya’s style and just beautifully created, with the beading, the leather work, it is just very much their whole ‘look’. The stitching is phenomenal and I adore the metallic disc work that gives it that tie in to the whole theme of the month.

I wanted some ambience for my picture and grabbed a beautiful chair from Trompe Loeil, which again fated, had the perfectly colouring for my whole ensemble, it didn’t take but a moment to grab the amazing drum set that is featured in our studio by 22769 that I picked up at a past TLC event and just adore so much. I love how soft and earthy everything is, and it really helped bring out the beautiful red in my Wasabi Pills hair that was perfect for the outfit and matched my new brows splendidly.

The background I am using in this post is actually a smaller art print that I have resized and put on the wall. It actually sits at an angle smaller usually, but I just really liked it big and dominating the image. The monochromatic look of it helped with the overall theme of the look, from the wonderful toeless boots, to the marble like texture of my GOD cap/hair.

This is why options are wonderful, you get a lot of choices with the cap, to change the lettering, the colours and then of course those lovely waves of hair. The top I have on is an applier for the Physique body, and it comes also with options of 7 other great colours and is a very easy top to wear with many things, this time I chose my toeless leggings that meant I still got the toeless look of the boots, but the same sort of tight fitted stretchy look with the top.

Changing the metal choice of the gorgeous necklace to silver from gold and I am ready for a dance off, this is such a fun street dancer kind of look, and I am putty when it comes to those kinds of movies, I love them, all the dance movies that change someones life are just the best.
