June is traditionally a time for weddings, which in our country makes no sense as its usually windy , cold and wet lol.

But luckily thanks to Phils Place, and the amazing weather conditions, June Brides the wold over can have beautiful skies and incredible weather.

But its not just the weather that can be incredible. With the release of the NEW Enkythings Baba Yaga Bridal Collection, it was high time to do a Bridal Post, and these shoes are just stunning for during and after an event such as a wedding.

One of the hardest things for an upcoming bride to get just right, is the shoes. So many white shoes to choose from, but not so many that are styled with a Bride in mind. The Baba yaga collection is made to cater to as many options that may be needed. With white, cream, gold and silver as the key ingredients.

Great thing about the options, is that then not only is the bride covered, but you can consider doing an offset combo for the bridal party. Also as the Baba Yaga bridals are a remix of the Original Baba yaga there are endless colour possibilities to choose from, if you go with more vivid colours in your party, YAY the choice abound.

Now onto the Dress. There are incredible wedding gowns in Phils Place – I should know I have about 30+ lol. This Unforgettable Gown from BLAZE is just that, truly Unforgettable. The lace in this dress is STUNNING , Drop Dead Gorgeous. I have all sorts of love for this creation, but of course my first love is the System Skirt Love, I mean LOOK AT ME!- lol.

The two prim skirt options are beautiful, my personal favourite is the one on the right , slimline and chic. This Gown is the kind of style that can totally transform your mind to ‘After the Wedding” the delicate Lace and sensuality of the gown itself, makes my mind wander to the Wedding Night, and being a vision by candlelight.

There isn’t a Groom in Phils Place or RL, that wouldn’t fall in love all over again when you do that walk towards him. It’s simply breathtaking. I know this because, its rare that I poke, and whine, and carry on all girly girl crazy like, trying to get Mel to say I beoootiful, but when he was working; and I was taking pics , I kept prodding him to do so – lmao. I seriously almost turned into Bridezilla.

The skin is the Pale Linda skin from Minnu Model Skins, that I just love , and is no longer available as of yesterday :o(- but a nice clean looking skin with subtle make – up is always a good look for a Bride.

The wonderful Cameo Necklace is from Kalon, a stunning Pearl Choker with a divine Cameo at the centre, which goes into that ‘Something Old’ traditional very well.

Sasy Scarborough gave me a gift yesterday, the “Determined” outfit from Digit Darkes, which is perfect for a dramatic entrance into the boudoir or just wearing around town to wash your car. Okay, it’s perfect for enticing some poor sap to wash your car for you, not that I would ever use my feminine wiles to get anyone to do anything for me, unless you feel like giving me a shoebox full of lindens in which case I just loosened the robe and leaned in a little towards you so you can smell my perfume. /me coos sweetly and bats her eyelashes at you, then promptly trips over the train and falls down. I’m just not a very convincing femme fatale am I? Still, since I know my readers are full of femmeness and fataleness, there are going to be lot of guys (and girls) succumbing to the charms of this outfit. Chi Junot has only recently started blogging over at Fashion Finds, and in a small amount of time she has really started to nail it. She has a fabulous writing style as well as an awesome dress style, and I couldn’t resist asking if I could post this on here too.

My introduction to REDGRAVE; came when I saw the Brown Glitter Club Dress in the most recent Sexy Second Magazine 50 sexiest things in SL. My next exposure to REDGRAVE came when I saw a photo of someone (it may have been Alaska Metropolitan) wearing this Silver Sequin Club Dress. Both of them reduced me to a state of helpless primal longing, which was not eliminated by actually going to the store and looking at the display photos. In a cruel irony, the vendors for the two dresses happen to be mounted on the wall next to each other, which means that picking one only must leave you facing the (temporarily) spurned object of your clothing lust.

REDGRAVE does not believe in either subtlety or false advertising. This dress and its sib are named club dresses for a reason. I cannot imagine wearing this for any purpose other than trying to make heads turn on a dance floor. Were the sparkles not sufficient, designer Emilia Redgrave has attached pearl strands to both skirt and bodice for additional glitz, almost leading me to wonder whether the dress includes some sort of subliminal bling. More pop art than clothing, it is strictly for those rare occasions when only the very brightest will do.

Efe has done a great post at Fashion Finds on the latest release by Digit Darkes, so with all my whats new and notices and in Phils Place promoting of the wonderful set, I like it when I can hand over the reigns to someone else, or Im lazy you decide lol.

OK, so I’ve been quiet. Worryingly so in fact for me!! But don’t worry, I’ve not been plotting total world domination – yet. Just that RL has been… uncooperative recently, so I’ve hidden myself away in inventory sorting, all the better to regale you with more posts once I can actually find stuffs!! But, sometimes something comes along that you just have to post now, now, now and today was one of those days.

Isn’t it yummilicious? The new Glimmer dress by the talented Ms Digit Darkes. And it’s got sequins, and sparkle and swwwwwwwwwish! And you remember how much I love the swish, right? The way the light is baked into this texture is just amazing, and frankly puts all those horrible frocks with added bling to shame. And the black belt makes co-ordinating a dream. As I said with the Determined outfit, be great if SL would allow extra layers for more belt colour options, but as it stands, you just can’t go wrong with black!!

But this is such a versatile outfit too. Just look at how gorgy the swimsuit is once you take off the skirt!! *purrrrrrrrrrrrrrs* It gives the impression that lots of skin is on show, but the way the cutouts are placed, it’s perfectly modest – just the right balance to be sexy, not slutty. And I’m just adoring the buckle on the back, tho I must admit wouldn’t fancy it RL – can you imagine a) how uncomfy, and b) how hot it would get in the sun?

And just to turn the sexy up, I really wanted to try something totally brazen, and I just love the splash of red from the “stripper heels” in contrast to the black. Oh my, I can see this is another outfit that’s gonna get plenty of wear. And best of all – I’ve only shown three colours here – it’s also available in Amethyst, Champagne, Gold, Silver, Wine, Golden, Mocha and Navy. So that’s a total of eleven colours to choose from ladies, and if there isn’t something to suit you in there, there’s no hope for you! *giggles*

Second Wave Apparel has released some beautiful Twisted Glitter Bikinis , is stunning colours for this upcoming *shivers* summer.

Beautiful textures on these allowing for that divine cleavage twist effect that we know just accentuates that area so well.

I love that these bikinis also have a full coverage bum with the hip slung look.

Sioxie does incredible work on her smaller pieces, I adore her undies sets too, there is so much love in my inventory for my peekaboo frills sets , you MUST have them lol.

The skin I am wearing is the fabulous Isabelle normal eden orchid lips skin from Damiani , the make up on these is really lovely and a fabulous body for swimwear and tiny clothes lol. The hair is the Tessa style by Analog Dog that is one of the Excellent Freebie/Dollarbie hairs in the Savoir Hair in world location.

I am wearing the Nyoko body oil light, for a nice out in the sun effect, and if Oil doesnt rock your boat, lets pretend its SPF30 shall we :P. Also adorning my hips is the YUMMY Belly chain from the Fantasy dress at VR Fashion – LOVES that Belly Chain so delicate and so well fitted to the body.

Have fun swimming or bathing or just dancing around your living room sorting inventory, its a must to do that in sexy little things like this lol.

EDIT :Have since found out that it was Allissa Demar that helped me that day, so again thank you for wonderful service, and to Blaze for a fabulous Shirt and gift.

A long while ago, I was shopping with the Lovely Jaydie and started whining that I didnt have a shirt that was a mens style, but that was supposed to look like I stole one from Mel.

A few days later she IM’d me to let me know that BLAZE had such a shirt , and not in the store for sale, but as a FREE item for joining her Subscribe-o-matic.

I was overjoyed, not because it was free , but because I could finally have one lol – free was just a bonus. Now of course this was one of those crazy crazy days of items not delivering, and I ended up speaking to the Manager of the store – I really really wish I knew her name right now as she was awesome.

I wasn’t getting the item delivered and really wanted the shirt desperately, even wanting to buy it if it was at all possible – yes it was crazy longing lol. Anyway the lovely lady with the name I don’t remember Manager, sent me the item with much stress, as profiles weren’t loading and all sorts of crazy, but I was so then and am still now very grateful, again its system skirt Genius using the skirt layer to make the bottom of this long loose shirt just look fab.

I wore this shirt for days in all sorts of combinations, and today was a day I wanted to just look thrown together in a stylish way, so immediately I went to the Boyfriends Buttondown. I have had these Capri style Leggings in my inventory for a while from N° 9 Nylons for a while, and they were just perfect for under the shirt.

I really love the 80’s look lace ends to these, so perfect for under flouncy skirts or like this with an oversized shirt. They come in an abundance of colours, and both layers for ease of wear. The NEWISH as I am late blogging them, Dolly Sandals from Dela look fab with this look, beautiful stacked wedges in a patent leather texture, are fun and the deep rich colours mean you can mix them up with all sorts of light or dark clothing choices.

Mouse Mimistrobell of Dark Mouse at Whimsical Creations, sent me some lovely Jewelry and Accessories recently. The gorgeous Catty Eye Sunglasses are just adorable, made me feel like I was working in my den reading or writing, wearing my mans shirt etc etc lol.

Amber Necklace and Earrings and the beautiful Flower Necklace are all divine pieces for Jewelry lovers. The Amber pieces were perfect when wearing the rich browns of the Dolly Sandals and the light Cocoa leggings, and how adorable is the flowers sitting in a beautiful blue vase, I loved that.

Hair is the Kenzie 2 by Aden Breyer, loosely drawn to one side low pony that I love the texture of and the style itself is so graceful. The skin is the Vivant Blossom 1 Skin by Fleur, light lips and deep eyes make this skin a favourite.

I went to check out a skin I saw on Free*Style yesterday, and got sidetracked by another store completely lol., the store is called Acid and Mala.

So doing the sensible thing I TP’d to their main store, and found many delights.

The first item I bought is the Tiras de piel roja 9 piece set, which are the arm bands and choker you see in the red, also there are black and white ones available. I have allot of black armbands and black sets of accessories, but the red just drew me in to it. I adore the choker and can see myself wearing this often, I have a lock necklace I love that I don’t get to wear too often as its not released, so at least this one will tide me over,

The full wrap around done many times on all pieces is very well done, and there are also leg straps too for the set, but I just wanted to show the arms and choker, you will see the rest when you get there :P. The next love was for the brilliant unisex Blind Hat/Hair – yes seems to be a hat and hat/hair week for me.

This hat hair combo is just fun and edgy, the texture is marvelous on both hat and hair, and I adore the little studs coming out of the rim of the hat, its like a subtle DO NOT TRESPASS message lol , and you can just imagine all those broody men we know wearing this and becoming even more mysterious.

needing more black and red, I dived into Inventory and decided that typing red in search was as time consuming as just looking in each folder lol. But I came out with the Vicky dress from Artilleri and just put on the shirt piece, as the style of this top is yummy. The fabulous tights are from TRUTH and are the Veruca Salt leggings – on the underwear layer, so perfect for boots – I giggled when I turned my camera and saw that they don’t exactly cover all the bum, but that just made it cuter. The TRUTH is out there – ok sorry just had to say it coz it was driving me nuts in my head for the day lol.

The skin is also available at TRUTH and is the Arcane Liquid Skin (Latte) Smoked/Strawberry, I love this skin, its so pouty and delish, make sure you grab some DEMOS. Needing some fab boots to go with this look , I went to Beckenbauer and got the Chantal Cherry boots, having grown up in the Doc Martens age , these are just fabulous and come in lots of yummy colours.
Moving from Edgy to adorable, some more pieces I picked up at Acid and Mala, are the snuggly Bufanda y gorro neko Hat Scarf , and the leg and arm warmers texture change pack.

There are three different packs to the arm and leg warmers but this set had the same texture as the scarf and hat I couldn’t live without.

The hat fit was perfect, I only had to change one prim in my hair – the lovely Saleen hair from HCT thats only 1L for the fat pack- at the front , made a copy of the style first and then pasted the new edited version straight into the scarf and hat folder for the next time I wear them. Look at the cute little buttons/embroidery things on both the hat and the scarf, and OMG ears with piercings lol so cute, I have always wanted one of those that you see on babies lol now I have one of my own .

Whether legwarmers are your thing or not, the armwarmers are just fab and a great way to keep snuggly with OUR winter thats already frosting up my window, sheeesh its cold this morning, but at 5am what does one expect lol.

The cuteness of these accessories made me feel young, and you know when you are young and silly you tend to want to wear as little as possible even in cold weather, well I know I did lol. So as long as the zones that all the heat needs to be are covered, you can do the minimal clothing option, and there isnt much as minimal as the KC Jeans Skirt from Kimberly Casanova Designs.

The top is the Keyhole top from La La Foo Foo, and is the white one tinted. Now somehow, I don’t know how, but Roslin of Fleur always seems to know when I am on a posestand, she dropped the NEW Vivant Bronze Dig Ophelia 2 on me and its just beautiful , the sad side of that though is , if you look at the picture on the far right lol thats me contempating life WITHOUT there ever being NEW Vivants *sniffles *.

Yes, unfortunatly this is the LAST one , and there ‘may’ be one or two done for RFL, but thats just a ‘Maybe”.
But do stay tuned for an incredible NEW skin line to come from Fluer in the upcoming months.

I did get asked though, does this mean Fleur is going to retire Vivant ? or still have them in the store for ever more, well I HOPE SO , I hope they stay, because I’ll chuck a big wobbly if they go away lol.

The other hair I have on to show you the face details better , is the Reica hair from Diversity Hair , cute as a button on a scarf lol, and the Tangerine Hair Rose from Essentia was the perfect combo with the scarf and warmers colours.

The shoes are the Ballet Wedges from ETD , and thanks to Fashion Emergency and Whimsy Winx and Efemera I worked out how to change the colours – lol dont delete colour change notecards :P.
Two more things I just coulnt resist at Acid and Mala , were the Collar metal rojo, and lol the Organic Boots with Bears.

Why the Organic boots ? I have no idea , but they just wanted to be mine lol.
The bears with nails going through them all voodoo doll like are cute in their creepyness , and the idea of heshan bags tied around your legs with rope was too much fun , I couldn’t resist lol.

The collar though was all about the Chains and Key and such and just too cute for only 80L I think it was , but yeah everything in Acid and Mala is really inexpensive.

While I was in my TRUTH folder and wearing the Veruca tights, I saw another long forgotten EVIL folder lol, some of you may remember TRUTH and the HOBO Store , well not sure if the store ever happened , it was a lot of Truth being naughty. But he did go as far as to make teaser clothing for it , and even though I don’t usually wear things you cant get lol this one was perfect for my Organic boots that I couldn’t resist.

There was a skirt with the set too of newspaper pages – sooooo DOLLY 86′ – but it was too long , and the license plate belt is just fab, so if you dont see these in his store IM him and harass him – he deserves it :P.

The skin is again Arcane in the Ghost tone , which seemed fitting and again available at TRUTH . The hair which I love is Trash by Old Gravy and thanks to Efe talking about the hair she had on in IM it reminded me to venture to my Old Gravy folder for perfect hair to complete my look.

All items for sale have been kindly donated for the fundraiser and ALL proceeds will go to the Red Cross divisions in Myanmar and China. Donated items include everything from shoes to clothes to jewelry!
If you wish to just donate we will have a donation kiosk setup at the teleport site as well. Please join us for a great cause to give these people a chance at survival during these very difficult times. Every Linden helps! 🙂

So I am always saying things are fated when I blog lol, and seriously yesterday was another of those strange stepping stone moments.

I had seen a blog post from someone on the feed about skin the other day, and yesterday in group IM someone asked about the hair from that pic , I asked in Fashion Emergency and no one knew, so then I conferenced and got the answer, deciding that I hadn’t been to that store yet, I dragged Fia over with me.

Then decided to go look at the actual skin, so tpd off again, after grabbing some demos, I jumped the wall- literaly- and landed in a really yummy build and smashed a scooter into the sim line lol. Then Fia found a stump, a tree stump he thought was fabu, so we tpd to that store, then once I got there I realised that the store wasnt the main – not in picks why arent mainstores always the FIRST ? – so after much banter in voice about how we MUST go to the main lol we tpd again.

The next build was even more incredible, I am sure many of you have already been to Isle of Tranquility , but if not you really need to, today – oh and try and go in the day time , because there is a club there so green chat spams you if you are trying to shop at night time and gets kind of hard if you are with others.

Ok so now you know how I end up at one place 😛 , its not just a tp and shop kind of deal with me, there are steps to finding the goodies lol. So every single store there had something worth seeing, buying , drooling over.

I had the best fun too, since my new PC and the ability to walk- oh yes I can finally walk , it wasnt me after all lol – I am so in love with actually walking, after spending nearly two years cam shopping its nice strolling around , its driving Fia nuts but yeah me is enjoying it lol.

So I got this incredible outfit called Salopette_British Punk from Ameries Naughty , ok so the funny thing is that after I shop and do what I have to do , I go to the feed and right there top of the feed is a post from Amerie herself on her new rug :O , I was like OMG had I waited an hour or so I would have had direct access lol, but then I wouldn’t have gone on my little trip around the grid lol.

This set is just YUMMMMMMY , it has all the looks shown, and only 200L , and you know I am all for the Grey Love, but Grey and Red together OMG YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY ! and to then throw in a Union Jack AND a Skully well its too much Bliss.

The one shoulder strap overall bib style top is fab and comes on both shirt and jacket layer, the Kini/bra top is delish – again wishes matching bottoms to that – The pantaloon puffy shorts are adorable as is the tiered skirt , and I just love the shorts on their own as well , they will look fab with a blazer of some sort too.

So then just about to pop up on the stand and a Fash Con notice drops down for Couture Chapeau and its instant love for the Carrie Fedora, but as most hats have to go somewhere, I IM’d the creator Chigadee London and asked where it attached, unfortunatly it was the chin and as my hair roses go there I said Poop! lol. But Chigadee was so lovely and attached it to the mouth for me and delivered it YAY – yeah yeah its not that I couldnt do that, but unfortunatly when you re attach hats, they never sit exactly how intentioned if you arent sure of the exact placement in the first place.

So now I was most of the way there. Putting on my new incredible outfit and hat , with the scripted sizing thing – is great for hats – I looked at my colour pallette and prayed what I wanted had those colours, and sure enough Tesla Athena opentoed ankle boots had the perfect match with the Dark Heart combination WOOOHOOO.

Diving into my skins I came out with the Arcane Liquid Skin in Vivid Ruby Make up and omg Purrfect , but now there was a gap from cleavage to head and I needed something there that wasnt too ostentatious, I grabbed my Byzantine Choker from Essentia and the beautiful prim work and divine dark silver just worked wonderfully well.

The hair, opting for a straight style as it woudl fit neater under the hat, is the Sweet Violet hair from FFS, that I did have to do some adjusting too, but YAY for Copy and YAY for Mod hair , sighs thinking how that might change soon :o(.

So you see the outcome and you need to show the love , so off you go and have an incredible day shopping, and enjoying hopefully the beautiful build of Isle of Tranquility.
