You so could, and in this skirt I wouldn’t care. Aptly named in my opinion, the Aria skirt and Aria shirt are most melodious. Actually I might have to talk to The Diva about arresting me for the Fashion crime of not having worn this earlier.

Incredible work on this system skirt, that can be worn without the beautiful flexi bottom, as you know I love love love love system skirts, and would happily wear this one without, but it is so incredibly effective with. The shading and detailing on the Aria skirt works so well on bringing attention to all the assets of this style skirt, and the love heart placed were it is draws the eyes up and then back down, it really is so beautiful.

The Aria shirt is a stylish sleeveless blouse that works in harmony with the skirt, but would have allot of uses as a staple in any wardrobe.

The shoes I am wearing are the Newish Akamai shoes, stunning metalic wedges, with a mix of silver and gold. These come in incredible metalic finishes in I think it is six different colours, you need to try on the demo for yourself, they really are very chic. To round out the silver I went with the petite Clutch bag in silver, its small and discreet but adds that little something to the look.

I went on a bit of a hair frenzy yesterday, buying up from two stores, the first style is Heart J , now this style comes in two ways, one as shown and the other has fantastic hair clips in it but the big 80’s kind that are like ducks bills, it wasn’t suitable for this look, but so much fun for others, and you get both in the pack.

The Jewelry is the Tiffany series, necklace, bracelet and earrings, all in a ruby and platinum finish. Scripted for size changing these are also delicate and so pretty, you could wear them stylishly like this, or go into the more elegant formal look, I love rubies, and with this make up it was a great merge. The skin is from DV and thanks to Whimsy WInx for blogging it the other day, I was able to venture over there with Efe, to snap up the skins for the incredible price of 5L each, but there is actually a box somewhere in the store for 70 of them for 100L.

This is the Temptress skin and it is a mod, the whole box is comprised of different make ups, looks, and really out there costumey looks, you could grab it and sort through it and find some great effects for halloween, one or two terrified me you will see why when you get it.

All the colours of the Aria Skirt are just beautiful.

The Beatrix Capris are equally adorable, not just because they also have hearts on the buttons. But because they are cutely turned up and clipped with some very nifty prim work at the base. All the clothing today has little extras that let you know hours of work went into constructing the pieces.

These are a great style for daytime dallying, the Kara sweater w/ tee is really cute for the chillier days, or just because you don’t want to bare your midriff. With or without Tshirt, the sweater is snug to the body and buttoned up with lovely stud buttons , sleeve length on these is perfect too, for collaborating with the Capris, in the covering but not all the way way.

More fun hair, this time the other store and its one I ended up wearing all day. Josephine hair is so bouncy and fun, I really like the light brown texture as worn which is kind of a summery blonde, the bangs are a delight and the way the alpha curls have been worked are just right.

This skin is the August Hybrid from the pack , and so cute and fresh looking, great skin for this casual look. The shoes are the Haleigh Wedges , stacked cork wedges with gem adorned black straps, super casual and vintagey all at the same time.

Lastly , because I am still in one of these looks since last night when I took the pics.

First off OMG THE SOCKS! seriously these are just all kinds of naughty delish, if these were food they would cost the earth and you would never recover from the taste, imagine that step sister in Ever After tasting chocolate for the first time, that is these socks. The Jeyne Hose come in fantastic colours and are sheer and netted, and omg they are just awesome.

Wearing the New Platform Mod shoes, that have fabulous and chunky heels and soles, the big silver button on the side front is fab, as well as appearing again in a smaller version at the back, DEMO DEMO DEMO they are yummy. Tabatha sweater is a zippered midriff style top , the fabric and print is great, the colours are just beautiful, my favourite parts are the little stars at the back and the two hand pocket at the front.

The NEW Minami skirt comes in beautiful denims as well, and I just love a great Jeans skirt, and this is definitely one. The combination of this look is just fun and sexy and, well I love it. Speaking of love, the hair also another purchase yesterday, and one I think I will keep on wearing because its hot hot hot. This is the Heart 7 hair , and not just the working of the hair itself do I love, but those criss crossed ties around the tails, wonderful prim work and so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute.

The last skin is Kate is Great, remember these are either 5l each or just 100L for the 70 if the box is still there, make sure to head over, and if its not there , IM the creator and see if she plans on bringing it back out.

Slice me and dice me

I am a huge fan of HCT as many know, and one thing I love is the costume time of the year. Babyboo goes all out every time, whether Halloween, Easter or Christmas, it just depends on her mood for the other two, but Halloween she embraces.

Best thing about her costumes also is that they always come with hair, and lots of it. This latest costume is Kruger and it’s totally awesome, I haven’t seen anything like it thus far, and so sexy a concept. I was a teen when the Nightmare movies started and remember seeing them at the movies, and a few years ago hiring all of them with my Goddaughter who had never seen them, we stayed up until about 3am watching them from the first until the last and scaring ourselves to death.

Now I think had Freddy been in fact female as this costume suggests, she would have had way more fun with Johnny Depp :P. The costume is fabulous and fun, the cut out slashes across front and back are somewhat revealing, which is always fun at Halloween, and the glove is spot on, if any guys want to go as Freddy they should look into this set just to get their hands on the Glove.

The wonderful bowler hat also is part of the look and the hair has been created to wear with a hat with no top prims for convenience, either that or the blades cut a bit close when styling my hair.

Wearing the Halloween gift from MMSkins this Moscow adaption is perfect with the nice clean slice near the eye, just goes to show that you can’t always be so careful. I am also wearing the desert boots from Maitreya in black, a lovely soft leather boot for men or women, with tied and untied laces options that I love.

So go get your Halloweeny on, and check out all of the HCT costumes, I love last years sooooooo much and this year just ads to the love.

This took research

It is true, I had to do allot of background testing for this post.

I mean you can’t just do beans on toast, and not HAVE beans on toast, and when it’s all you have eaten all day, you have to make it super special and add things, like CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE. Yes yes the other day for Linner ( yeah I have lunch late enough for it to be almost dinner) I had baked beans on toast with melted cheese on top, and it was AWWESOMMMME!.

I have known for some time that beans on toast was in the cards, as it started out as a ‘it’s ok you could call a dress beans on toast and it would be hot’ kind of convo with SySy. But then a few dresses in between and I was still waiting for my yummy. Well it finally came and sure enough I am still so behind I have only now been able to share, the dresses I will share, my gourmet linner you have to get your own :P.

So Beans on Toast with a few extras it is. I wanted some belts with this look , so again with the search belts and came up with the Light Strider Belt from Bare Rose, which I tinted a different colour brown, the Chunky belt from Adam n Eve in the Silver, which is just so rich and vibrant, and the Adena belt from AD Clothing (Diversity Hair) which is a texture belt on all layers and as the dress comes on shirt and jacket it was a match YAY.

Beans on toast comes in three wonderful colours, and the length and the plunging neckline make it a fab outfit to do lots of mix and match with, the neckline leaving your cleavage bare for some wonderful adornment possibilities. Todays adornement is the beautiful Regal Pendant by Rosie Barthelmess, now I am not sure if Rosie has set up shop yet, so you might just have to IM her and harass her for this beauty, she also has others that are just lovely as well, so get her cracking on setting up shop, ok .

The dress comes with scrunched down socks that are at different heights per leg, and thats such a nifty look, they even have prim attachments for them, I am only wearing one because of the boots but you get the idea, so versatile to wear with other fun casuals too.

I also opted for some old favourites in the sock department in the form of the Skelly socks from Celestial Studios, yes I have worn these socks a few times in the past, but I have them in every pack she did, and each one has like three colour variations, they are fabulous.

The Hair I have on left to right is all from Exile , Kavar Cleanslate (love that name) does beautiful work on hair and so many other things, his costumes I have seen on his blog look wonderful too. I am wearing Voodoo, Wild Orchid and the latest release Natasha which is an asymetrical messy cut thats so full and fluffy it’s just lovely, and with Christmas just around the corner a hair named for the festive season is appropriate, mind you Halloween is festive too , so yay.

The skins I am wearing are all from Gala , and are the Brownie, Nocturnal and Fever, the glossy lips are wonderful and remember DEMO DEMO DEMO, she has such an abundance of tones you really need to try them all.

Lastly are the Billow Boots from Maitreya, it has been instant love of these from everyone I know. With all my begging for more boots from Onyx and Beau in the last few months , I am so glad the boot making process has begun , and I look forward to seeing so many more in the upcoming months, YAY for cold weather , even though its stinking hot here , my avatar can just mess with me while I sit and over heat in RL and dress all snuggly and toasty in phils place- ah the sacrifices we make.

These boots are heavenly, with their so incredible leather – my goodness Maitreya textures get more real looking each release – the elasticated band at the top cinching them in is also incredible in detail, I love the idea of these boots protecting you from the cold by keeping you all snuggled and tight fitted at the top , but allowing for warmth to be trapped inside, and as for how stylish they look , that just goes without saying.

It took a year but I got ittttttttttttttttt

Over a year actually, yes when the Pink Bikini in the skins pic came out, I begged for a dress version and I finally got it. Not only that, the skins that were released recently also sat around waiting to be released for many many months, but since then there has been different changes to not only clothing lines but also skins.

BRAND NEW released today Diva Stella Skins, different than the previous Icon and Starlet, and with a fab array of make ups. The body of the skin is perfect for the line of clothing, swimwear and lingerie that the same store creates in a beautiful array of styles.

Now lets look at some shall we. The first dress is the dress lol, the Medallion Dress in lush pink with a very similar look that the kini I loved had, a softer pink this time around though, and I am still happy :P, but not for long coz next year I want it in a gown , lmao.

Beautifully shaped and definitely a fitting cocktail dress for many nights out on the town, or for that special night, thing is that sometimes you just need that kind of pink to make as much impact as you would in say a little black dress.

Speaking of little black dresses, lol don’t you just love how I do that :P. The December dress I kind of expected to be red, or green , funny how those colours are so connected to that month, but it isn’t it’s a lovely sheer babydoll style and the December tie in for me is that lovely bow perched at the left side of the chest area.

Cute polka dotted bow, and the lovely sheer fullness of the frock will have you delighting your guests at your next party. The dress also comes with floral lace pantyhose that are so delicate looking if you come near me with a cigarette I might have to hurt you – don’t you hate that, the amount of expensive stockings I have bought in the past and had the dreaded someone bump into me when perched on a stool and bang big hole and burn Growls.

A honey of a dress, and this is ironic,  is the Honey – I think all bets are off on that one Arielle 😛 , if I call you honey in your IM box I am going to use this dress as my excuse lol. Lovely deep red velvet like texture , trimmed with a golden sequined look, I especially love the scoop and plunge at the front keeping you all secured and such. Cute little flexi pleated skirt finishes off the look and you are going to be partying until January for sure.

All the hair worn in these pics is from TRUTH , beutiful styles in dynamite textures, and the shoes, because Im that corny are the delightful Stella Heels from Dela, such adorable shoes with their bows at the toes, the bow is actually similar to the one in the December dress , so you can be all matchy matchy.

Make sure even if you have been to the store to check out the skins in the past few days you return , because these are too yummy not to try , DEMO DEMO DEMO.

I’ll get you my pretty

No seriously, how yummy is the Witch. Both beautifully crafted costumes for this coming Halloween , or just because you love to dress up, I mean why wouldn’t you dress outlandishly every day in Phils Place, at least for some amount of time, not only is it fun, but it’s certainly refreshing.

Cinderella the first set, is available in beautiful and rich textures, the detailing is just beautiful and as its so not over the top specific to Cinderella it could be worn for so many reasons. I am wearing it with the Juliet Hair that I adore, and there you go, see, you could so do a Romeo and Juliet coupling in this same dress.

The beautiful sculptie Tiara I found in a completely different set called Lotus and its just wonderful , got to love search in your inventory, you find so many nifty things.

The Wicked Witch set again a delight and I just love this dress, again so many other uses for it, could totally wear that as a cat lady in some scary house themed look lol. For some reason that movie frighteners has come to mind, that movie scared the bejeezus out of me, and I have seen it like 6 times it rocks lol.

The broom is wonderful and comes with a sit pose or just holding it option , great broom flying pose as you can see in the back , I am really getting into it. The hair is Beautiful Mess, an oldie and stil a fav one of my first purchases at Gurl 6 back in the day.

I am wearing the Nana Heels in Cinderella but you cant see them, but perfect slippers for this look especially in the golden texture, as well as the Cupo Boots with the Wicked Witch set.

The lovely skins – even though I made one look frightful lol – are both from SODA and are the Alice and Cecily skins, I love the unique faces in these and with the NEW make your own system at SODA you too can create even more of a unique to you look.

With so many events based around Halloween and they have certainly started early, this is your time to get your costumey fun happening. I am also using Ana Lu poses in this post, she has released two new sets since yesterday so give them a whirl.

Lure me in

Simply Elegant on all counts.

These incredible formal affairs are just created with such attention to detail, and an abundance of incredible prim work.

The first gown is the Black Leopard Ruffled Silk Gown, and there are many different attachments needed to take on that incredible full gown skirt. But you will not regret using any of them. Firstly the shape and length and the train like structure of the skirt is just marvelous.

But it is so much to do with the fact that each section is an intricate pleate carefully placed in such a way as to flutter with movement. The pleates are a fold of wonderful fabric and the way it has been textured is a delight. This is not a gown though for a laggy affair , as all up the skirt alone has over five hundred prims, but again soooo worth each and every one of them.

The bodice to this gown is a beautiful leopard print in a black and grey combination, so that is me loving it just for that alone. Though when its made in such a beautiful way with carefully laced back and a stunning corset style, I think I would love it if it was green with purple polka dots lol.

Another stunning part to this Black Leopard Ruffled Silk set is that gorgeous Black Pearl Necklace, I love the high neck choker look and this is that and more, its elegant and extends the line of the neck with grace and style.

The next dazzling dress, is the Red Leopard Ruffled Silk Babydoll, again just splendid with the same stunning pleat effect in this full layered babydoll style, I would love to see more layered babydolls, allot of work would have to go into them, but it really is effective.

You can see in that picture a bit closer how amazing the ruffled pleats really are for both stunning creations. I also love the way the bodice on the baby doll has been made , with the small cut out at the empire line moving upwards to the cleavage, giving it a strapless bra cup fit and so effective, the clasp at the centre is a small ruby clasp that ties it all in together.

With this dress I am wearing an old favourite, which are the Bonita heels, beautifull strapped slip ons that come in an abundance of colours as well as two tone combinations, like these in the red/black, perfect for this adorable and stylish look.

Almost lastyly is the Blue Leopard Ruffled Silk Dress, this time a cocktail length style, with a halter neckline that ties us at the back in a perfectly drawn bow, again to keep you cinched and possibly perky the lacing down the back is scrumptious. A tiered cocktail length skirt in again the primtastic silk ruffles, its coquetish and fun , especially with the cute as a button hat perched at the front of your hair, with lace or without you get both options, but I have always always been a die hard fan of veiled hats like this, they are soooo striking and mysterious.

The shoes worn with this set are the Ekota heels, a cross strapped front heel which I think is in keeping with the timeless beauty of the dress and hat.

Now before I get too distracted by the beautiful Allure skins, I want to point out that not only does the Black Leopard come with french cut lace panties, but so do the Blue and Red dresses, just so you know ;).

Ok so, months and months of work has gone into Allure and it shows, there was always a wait for more in the other skin ranges in the past, and were always heavily anticipated by all, but the NEW Allure skins we have been teased about for what seems like months and months, with the lovely Samara dropping little hints and reminding us of goodies to come.

Six beautiful tones – somehow I lost one in my shoot, I have no idea which one will be mine this time around, as I used to have a set one that I used to always buy even though on occasions I would hesitate and um and ah about making a change to a lighter tone, but would always leave happy with my usual lol. But this time round they are definitely more distinct and so beautifully shaded.

But still managing to keep that softness I have always talked about in the past, yes CJ Carnot and Roslin Petion of Fleur have definitely done a tremendous job on Allure, and so need a foot rub and a bottle of their favourite beverage for the rest of the week, maybe two bottles.

The make up that I am wearing is the Lounge, three make ups in one style as per the usual Fleur way. Smokey eyes and full lips, with a very distinct nose and cheeks , I so adored Vivant, as did many of you , but this is definitely a hybrid of the Vivant line, similar in the beauty it always captured, but with a definite change all round. DEMO DEMO DEMO. Oh and Allure Accessories heehee, panties and eyebrows for hair options in Blonde, Brown, Black and yes RED .

The stunning hairstyles I am wearing with todays post are the New Nikhita and Nikhita 2 , I love the upswept and twisted front of both styles, and the loose chignon at the back of one or the lose cascading curls of the other, two styles you could interchange for many occasions.

Wiggles for BamBam – no wait that can’t be right.

What about calling it ‘OMG I LOVE THOSE PANTS! ” yeah that would work I think.

” What pants are you particularly reffering to ?”  you ask, well I will tell you when I get to them – I so heard you ask that with an accent.

I had a shocking occurance late last night, it happened at about 2am, I was ready to show some items that I had finally all sorted into sub folders in my to blog folder, and when I opened an accessories one that I have shown in the past, just neglected to move to new lodgings, I found a folder had landed in there by mistake.

Now I know I have been behind allot of late, but this was just terrible, as I usually have extra windows open and drag across but sometimes I end up being lazy and not opening a second and try and drag scroll :(. That’s the only way that I can think this happened, and I am truly glad I found it, because it was hiding so many yum yums.

The first outfit is Animal Jumpsuit, now this set has me looking at it in so many different settings. Settings as in people and places it could be worn, I guess is what I mean. When I added the Miranda Hair which is big and boofy – others say poofy which I just cant get my head around, and aussies tend to say boofy because of bouffant, we likey the slang down here.

So first thing that popped into my mind was Vegas and Dolly Parton to be more precise, because I could so see her wearing such an outfit. Then I actually went to Rio and imagined lots of gold and diamonds and rich woman with yap yap dogs, it all works. The plunging neckline of the Animal Jumpsuit over the silvery bikini top is just fun and daring, and the shorts have rolled up cuffs and a shash belt that comes already sized in small, medium and large.

The second set is the Candy Cane dress, there is allot of vintage love for this look, bit of a lucille ball look mixed in with your favourite frock from that era. The pink and white stripes are just delish, and the sheer white shirt with collar and cuffs in the same print are an added bonus, my preference though is without, but could so imagine that shirt with other items.

This could be a party dress or a casual frock for a day out, either way its fun and girly. The hair is the adorable Ringmaster hair which is scripted to change not only texture of the hair itself but all the parts to the hat except for the black hat itself. Great fun to mix and match with whatever you are wearing.

Ok now for the pants love, not only are they houdstoothy brilliance in all ways with the divine red interspersed with the black, white and grey, but the other features are that you get TWO pairs, in the pack , one is the beautiful dress slacks lenght and the others omg the baggy short pants, I so love these to death, I want them in so many more houndstoothyness prints.

The set is called Prince de Galles, and the whole combo is just delish, the ring kini top has that gorgeous print and a relaxed carefree appeal, and again a lovely blouse you can wear over the set for the chillier days, but it has to be the pants love first and foremost and again another reason is THAT BELT!.

Oh MY Goodness its just heavenly, I am actually scared to TP over there right now to see if there are more, because I know I will never finish this post and get all distracted and stuffs, but it is sooooooooo yummy, if it hasn’t already been done, my big suggestion plea, begging on hands and knees, is that that belt be made on all layers on its own , pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

The divine one sided ponytail is called Sable and this style is so sleek and luxurious, it’s very well maintained hair and as sophiticated but casual as this ensemble is it’s just perfect.

More love would have to go out for this Sweater Dress, not only do you get the fabulous chunky knit dress, but these fabulous bright harlequinesque leggings. WIth dress pants even this Sweater could be a dress or just a favourite long sweater, the turtleneck and sleeveless combo is superb and again vintagy yumyum, with the added motif to the mix you are ready for whatever and wherever the day takes you.

Some fab big glasses and the right bag or bag holder in the shape of a man, it will all work to accessorise lol. The hair is Margo, again a boofy style that lifts the hair well out of the way to show off the lean neck and stylish curves of you.

The beautiful skin I am wearing in this post is a group gift, one you will want to hurry to get from notices if thats your thing, but I do encourage you to try on all the demos from the store as well, this was a group only make up and all the others are equally fabulous. Its Surreal by name and just beautiful work overall.

Also great fun to be worn in all the pics is the Chunky Maryjanes, these are so cute they look like Mini’s on your feet, they are so groovy baby. I like the chunky soles very much and love the metalic look with the contrast running down the middle, but I so want to see that in some mix match contrast, I mean white pink , red black tooo cute , that would be fun.

Whole lot of Wicked- VR Foundry

Reason 512465698741325456 why I love the VR Professional Posestand and HUD, from VR Foundry.

The ability to be able to take your own group shots is just one of them, yes they are all me in that top pic, using the hud to lock my camera into the view I wanted, and then taking my time to unlock set up stands in various parts of the yacht just makes it so easy to use your imagination and come up with all sorts of uses for it.

All I had to do was pose go to camera lock setting I had saved, take the pic, jump up and fiddle around with other stands , change clothes, and do the same in another posestand in another part of the boat. Then take the photos into PS layer them over the top of each other and erase where I knew I posed, and voila ‘A whole lot of Sasy’s’. You can see it much larger if you click it to go to Flickr.

Also just think of the fun you could have with different shapes skins, different genders and what not, you could do a family portrait and be the only one really in it, because all the others had RL to take care of lol.

VR Foundry also released the NEW Wicked Bikini, I’d like it to be called the Sheerkini but Wicked works too :P. It is only a small percent sheer, and I have actually got on both layers top and bottom, to show that you can make it allot more opaque if you choose to. There are fifteen fabulous colours, the same colours as the Licentious set came in, and they are all yummy, one of my favourites would have to be the tan.

All completely handdrawn I just love the fabric, its like wetsuit styled but the sheer means its all stretchy goodness, and I love the belting and loops, it’s a great effect and has me believing I wont fall out of it :P. With the tan I couldn’t take it off last night , so threw on my Celestial Studios Stone Cords that I love in all colours, and as a top the Wicked Bikini top really works well.

The New Tesla release of the Hylda Boots had me all nostalgic , they are so late 80’s early 90’s for me. I had this exact style boot in every possible colour they came in back then, but unlike these with the zipper, the style back then had the cut leather with the elastic backing so you could wiggle into them.

Fantastic boots for pants these are, adding that necessary heel when wearing pants with prim/sculpted cuffs. The textures available are great too, not only the lovely leather in solids but also some snakeskin, I know that I myself and many people wear the foot part only of boots they love the shape of with pants, so this style is so that without having to leave anything off.

I am wearing hair from Analog Dog in all the pics today, the hair with the tan look , is the Janet style with the actual hat it comes with this time, I neglected to show those last time. The hat comes in 10 differnt leather colours, all fab and very stylish in a Biker Chic kind of way, the other two styles are Astrid in the close up pics in Wicked and Sedona in the background pics.

The beautiful skin is from Lion Skins and is the Sunkissed 28 Make Up , really beautiful lips and eyes in all the Lion Skins range and the bodies are just gorgy. Love the smokey eyes in this make up particularly. The cleavage is also perfect for this look with the Yummy Wicked Bikini from VR Foundry, showing the overall tones body of the skin. The Belly Chain I am also wearing in all of the shots, is also from VR Foundry and comes with the Fantasy Dress, It fits so well around the waist and I love it, mod copy so you can have different attachment points if needed and you can tint and untint the metal to look either goldish or silver.
