In my time in SL I have experienced Gala moments a few times. Little moments were it was all about Gala . I don’t mean big releases and such, but snippets of conversation, being tp’d to her older sim to give opinions on a make up, and of course many a time fashion emergency went to mentioning Gala toes as being perfection.
I even remember consoling an old customer when she was so distraught that Gala hadn’t released new skins in a while, it’s funny the older you get in SL the more those memories mean, for me a New skin by Gala Phoenix @ Curio is like a pleasant time line that turns into a much louder affair.
This affair will definitely be remembered. The NEW Skin line by Gala @ Curio consists of three beautiful skins, and I am only showing one of them today, the other two I will show soon after.
This is the Vixen skin by Gala Phoenix of Gala@Curio , a few things about how this skin has been released.
You have 4 Beautiful skin tones, Acorn , Petal, Moonbeam and Sundust. Each tone comes with 6 make ups in a light/dark option, now at first I thought that was brows, and was really surprised to find out that light and dark was in fact a variation of the
tone.
The other option you have is
freckled which is just beautifully done on these skins, being someone with freckles RL I am not a fan of freckle skins with an abundance of make up, makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever.
With these skins the freckles are more across the bridge of the nose and lightly across the body depending on tone of course, but as these come as part of the range, they will come in handy for different looks I am sure.
The other new feature is the light glossy lipstick and then a dramatic coloured gloss option, which makes it easier for those that don’t like to
change skins too much. By having so many options in the one make up pack this is definitely a more bang for your buck kind of dealio, but let me say it again PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give us a shaved option.
I know I say this a lot, I know I sound like some kind of maniac about
such a whacko thing, but I want to be able to not stress all the time about what skin I have on , whether or not I can just wear a folder and not end up walking around and finding out that I have been showing parts of what no one should see in public ever.
If all clothing makers suddenly stated that they would all end their clothing at the exact same part of the template as everyone else, then I wouldn’t care, but they don’t so I do :P. I also tend to think that we all – females that is – have different views on that area, and shaved/waxed it all ends the same, but all the other variations are just bizarro world…ok ranting again I know, back to the beautiful Vixen Skins.
I have mentioned the lipstick but not as yet the mouth, it is a beautiful full lipped shape, worthy of the best pouters in sl, and not just any kind of pout but that well practiced one with the upper lip curl. The overall lines to the face, and I don’t mean on the skin as such, but the details that make up the character of Vixen have a beautiful maturity that as a 36 year old I am very glad of.
The Vixen skin by Gala Phoenix of Gala @ Curio ( it’s confusing to me when I hear people call Gala Curio ) has such a wonderful
nose, and the eye make up is captivating. The tones and shading on the body of the skins is just gorgeous and I totally recommend either getting completely nakey or putting on your skimpiest beachwear – at home of course – and really checking out the bodies of these skins.
As you can see in the pics, the overall sheen to the skin is just delightful and sexy as all get out. The shading to the ribcage is really well done, and moves incredibley well with poses, the stomach is very trim and taught but not overly so, and the bum and collarbone is a dream.
One thing I seem to pay more attention to these days is the nails, the french polish on these skins is just gorgeous, and with so many beautiful rich colours in make up and clothing in SL the nails can stay bare and still draw attention when they are as lovely as these.
Vixen is possibly intended to be the sexiest of the new line, but I think all three are, but again as I am only showing Vixen today lets focus on that. Each pic has the two lips stick options, all four tones are shown, some with freckles, most without…and two of the pics are the light variation of the Sundust Frex and Petal.
The make up colours in this first range are an autumn lovers dream, the soft browns, lilacs and rich natural colours are bursting with flavour and richness, the glossy lips are fantastic and over all they are just beautiful, so make sure you DEMO DEMO DEMO them all.

Moving on to hair, Here Comes Trouble has done another big release today. One of the styles I am so in love with I had to wear it more than once lol. Dejay is the first soft wavey pony tail, a few loose tendrils and its so sweet.
Fritz is AWESOMETASTICAL!, as a person with wavey hair that can tend to get ultra curly underneath if left to dry naturally this is the hair scrunchers perfect do. This hair is all hair, it’s shortish, medium, going into long, its bed hair, its sexed up hair, its styled and not styled all at once, I LOVE ITTTTTTT.
The next style is the Mally hair, a lovely asymetrical style with very forward bangs, the Sasy hair (loves Babyboo) is a great uppy do, for your formal pleasures, but I am all about the Fritz.
The beautiful lingerie I am wearing in all of the pics is from Popfuzz, the Lace Lingerie set which is the first three pics is the latest release in the Popfuzz Lingerie line and it is gorgeous, we showed some of it last week on Whimsy. Garters, Panties, Bra and stockings…it is all there and on all layers in beautiful lingerie colours.
The Bra and Panties sets in the next two pics, are the perfect basics. You get straps and strapless versions of the bra and in my opinion this set could double as a bikini if needed. Lastly and because of the fantastic red lips in the :GP: Petal [Light] Vixen-Roxy 1 skin I went with the Lace Corset in Red from Popfuzz, I have said it many times, this corset set is brilliant, get one, get them all, you will love them.
All of the shoes in this post are the Nana heels from Enkythings, my favourite Lingerie Shoes in such beautiful fabrics…yummy.

I recently swung by Elixir and noticed that there was lots of New lovelies, as well as a much easier to navigate store layout, the older one was much smaller. I really like the way they have layed it out this time, as well as admiring the new arty pics that show off the items in such a way that vendors sometimes miss out on doing.
This first Dress is the Solid Mini Dress, which is available in a slew of vivid colours and stunning latex shading. The style is sleeveless high collared, and the length is barely there, thank goodness for the addition of some thong panties or there would be all sorts of complications.The shading or highlighting possibly on this latex is wonderful, especially at the lower front showing that it is as tight as can be and only prayers and possibly spray adesive are keeping it from sliding up the body.
I am wearing with them the fantastic Yoke from VR Foundry that has so many features, that can be used just as decoration/accesory like I am, or more to the way its intended, you can find the features on the vendor pic and info notecard at the store, but it is RL compatible and has the evilest features I have ever come across when it comes to locking.
The hair I have on is the Hayden style from Goldie Locks, a fun fanned out style that has a realy lovely softness to the flex.
The incredible Ballet Boots that I am wearing are in chrome and from WarDoom Shoes, these boots are amazing and look just like brushed steel, WarDoom has a huge assortment of fetish and regular style shoes and boots, my only upset with these boots is the inability to change the laces colours, but I did notice that other versions of boots do have that option, as these are possibly older, I have already had mine for a few months.
These also have lockable features and what not, so read the vendor to see what fun you can possibly have with them…;).
Love love love this dress, this is the Mini Driver dress from Elixir…so aptly named as it looks like the pimped up mini’s, but I also have to giggle because of the actress, seriously what were her parents thinking.
Everything about this dress is hot, the length is sexy, the colour combo and the fantastic latex detailing is gorgeous, but the style and those fabulous shoulder pads, just make it a MUST HAVE!… note well too, the front of the cleavage is actually a prim to give it a pulled off of the body look for more realism. It’s just HOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.
The boots I am wearing with it are the Goth buckle boots from J’s buckled fabulousness with laces up the back. The hair is Fab, by name and look, and is from Magika. I really like this style as its so formal looking but can be used casually or for fun as well.
The really cool thingy on the side of this pic is supposed to be a roll of pics, and I didn’t exactly do it as intended but it is so cool and thanks to Zoe Demar for showing the link on one of her Flickr posts…you can find the tutoral and download HERE.
Khorus of Elixir asked me if I do male items on my blog and as some of you know in the past I have morphed, or worn mens items many times as myself…but as Fiachra is also a fan of Elixir Khorus sent him some of the shorts that are new to the range and Fia then went shopping for more, lol.He is wearing the Mens Undergear shorts with the underpants as well underneath in some pics that show the white straps. These have a great rubberised wetsuit look to their structure and are great for RP situations. He is also wearing the Latex Tshirt in red, the Rubber Biker Gloves in Red and the White Gauntlets, with the black latex tshirt.
His skin is the Male Cheetah skin from Nomine and his hair is from the Good Life and is called Broder.
Last up from Elixir we have the Dark Star set, this set has many options for wear as you can see, and again is more of a wetsuit rubber look which is so well done. I really love the high cut of the black full piece as I am sure many will, and the lightning bolt cut out is neat.The white portions come in both a bikini look and full piece, if you can call it full lol, and has such a depth to the textures that you would swear they were solid protective wear like dirt bike riders wear.
The hair I am wearing is the Lolita style from Magika, which has adorable bows on the tails, and really as cute as it is supposed to look it definitely has a raunchyness to it also.
The fabulous skin I am wearing is the SUZANA-pale 82 from LionSkins, this make up around the eyes is incredible , I don’t have lashes on in the last pic because of the hair and there really isnt even a need for them with such intense liner and detailing. The body on this skin is superb and if you haven’t done Lion Skins demoing yet you really need to.

Pop Pop Pop Music
Ok so we went hair shopping for Fiachra, and of course take me and Whimsy anywhere near hair and it’s crazyness from there. We tried on the New hair at booN and I ended up trotting upstairs, and then downstairs and my peripheral vision kicked in big time.
After much squeeling and screaming at the server to let me load the demo, plus of course the yelling in Fia and Whimsy’s ear that I had found hair heaven I was able to try on the Demos for SKN151 and TDE092, instant love for me and dragging Whimsy over she was in agreement, then came the I’m going to blog this in my relay post, and I was like well Im blogging it next post :p, so to make it so we were both in it at the same time I shot these pics of us together.
So then a quick tp around some more stores, just so Fia got a chance to actually buy some hair, and back to Popfuzz we went to do a duo post. The other day as I mentioned in my DE post, I am all for the love of suspenders over clothing, so Whimsy and I went about incorporating that look with something old and something new from Popfuzz.
The New Belted Mini Skirts by Popfuzz have a fabulous eyelet belt look incorporated into the texture, you can’t see it really in this post but it is there and wonderful. I am wearing the Black and Whimsy is wearing the Red.
Over the tops of them I have on the Lace Trim Garter Belt with polka dots and the stockings from the Lace Lingerie set, which is a gorgeous set with bra and panties and stockings all included in every imaginable layer option.
Whimsy is wearing the Satin Lace Garters from the Satin Lace Lingerie set from Popfuzz. I really can’t decide which ones I like best, the polka dots are sooo cute, but the straight satin is super sexy too.
Both of us are wearing the Cut Out Racerback tops that have been out for a long time now, but I just love how much they accentuate the shoulders with the halter style neckline.
The Skins we are wearing are also from Popfuzz and these are the Glamour skins, Whimsy did a fabulous post on them earlier this week HERE , these skins are just beautiful but OMG wait until you see the upcoming Indulgence skins soon to be released by Popfuzz, but for now we will be radiant in the Glamour skins.
I am wearing the Cats Eye make up in the Dark Tan tone of Glamour, and Whimsy has on the Tan tone in the Black Glitter Make Up.
We are both wearing the Bloom boots from Maitreya, old favourites from both of us, and such staples for many, the style is ageless and the buckle on the sides with the strap is totally a great companion to the Belted Mini Skirt.
This hair is the SKN151 from booN and wow just wow at the style, shape and the new line of textures I had not had the pleasure of seeing up close and personal until today, the textures are so rich , and OMG I am so happy that the five pack comes with the browns and black colours, which makes me very very Happy indeed. Whimsy is wearing the Chestnut and its such a lovely healthy red that suits her so well.
We were loving the look so much we went and colour contrasted it, upping the flavour and having a ball with the options that Popfuzz allows for with all the layers.
This time pulling apart the Chemise dress by Popfuzz for the wonderful top layer with the ribbon trim across the cleavage, the dress comes with matching stockings so those met up with the fabulous Garters worn in the first pic with the adorable polka dot embelishment.
The Belted Mini Skirts come in so many rich and fun colours too, so those and the Cut Out Racerback tops underneath the Chemise on the undershirt layers made quiete a splash of colour.
The hair for this pic is the other beautiful style from booN is TDE092, again such a wonderful style and this time the addition of the bangs just makes both styles MUST HAVES, this is hair you could totally wear for many days straight no matter what kind of a hair addict you are.
The shoes we are wearing are both from ETD, I am wearing the Heel Strap Platforms and Whimsy is wearing the Starley pumps.
Whimsy is wearing the Tan tone Pink Cat Eyes in the Glamour skin by Popfuzz and I am wearing the Medium tone in Emerald, the make up on the skins is just wonderful DEMODEMODEMO.
I am wearing Hair Roses by Essentia and Whimsy has on the Essentia Medallion Bracelet in Silver, this was so much fun to do together and we have both kept on the second pics outfits, because we look wayyyy too cool, thanks Poppy, and thank you Whimsy for being so much fun…and Fia for tolerating us stealing his hair shopping moments.

A Second Wave
Second Wave Apparel has such an array of different styles and items on offer, from complete sets to seperates, as well as some of the cutest pantie and bra sets.
This first creation is the Lace Cami dress that is a perfect little black dress look. Lovely satin fabric with lace trim on the top and bottom of the dress, it is done in a micro mini style but a really well structured prim skirt that doesn’t need to much modification.
The dress comes with the beautiful long gloves, but for a more casual look you could wear without, this is definitely a dress for a special date or event.
I am wearing it with the lovely and extremely delicate Love Song necklace by Sable Rose, it is so pretty and really works with the theme of a special evening.
The hair I am wearing is from Here Comes Trouble and is the Karrie style, a lovely updo style that works really well formal or casual/dressy, with its loose tendrils and swept bangs.
A perfect all day look the Poofy Sleeve Outfit comes with a fantastic pair of jeans, belts in two options – either black as shown or animal print – and the poofy sleeved turtleneck top. This look is perfect for days spent socially and just tping around shopping and getting chores done.Did I mention the jeans are fantastic, if not I will again, they aren’t too low and not to high they are just right, and a lovely greyblue denim that will make mixing and matching with other colours easy.
The hair I am wearing is the Pink Style from Here Comes Trouble, this style is a great half updo look with tails, you know I just have to say; that while trying to write this post Whimsy is in Drag, half naked except for polka dot bra and panties and it is very distracting lol.
The gorgeous shoes are the Mistral heels by Adam n Eve, these shoes are delightful ,with their wood soles and heels with rich and shiny textured leather uppers. I love the idea of a maryjane look style with an open toe, these shoes come in many colours and the next pic shows them in grey which I am so happy about.
I can see wearing these shoes a lot in the upcoming warmer months.
This next set from Second Wave Apparel is the Wool Vest set, grey love all over the place, the skirt in this set is a must have, the vest is also super, and the turtleneck option for keeping the cold at bay is a great look.I have to say the skirt is fabulous and I hope that Sioxie sells these as seperates as well in other colours, but I am more than happy with grey grey love.
The hair in this pic is Stella by Here Comes Trouble, again lovely tails but full and fun high up on the head, and beautifully parted bangs.
All the skins are the Onyx skin from Dutch Touch which I just couldn’t resist wearing again, they are so beautiful and you really need to try on the Demos and see for yourself. The mouths on this skin are just beautifully detailed and I really hope that Iki does more make ups in this range.

Circus
Roll Up Roll Up the Circus is in town.
Well it was here last year and it has taken me this long to get the photos processed * hopes you believe me :P… The Circus Treats dresses by Canimal are bright and colourful, filled with merryment and playfulness, all of the things a Circus has.
They are a baby doll design, with such wonderful striped texture that the upper portion of the dress is just gorgeous. My favourite feature of these dresses, is that when you rip off the skirt portion you end up with the most adorable romper/vintage looking style suit that could double as swimwear or playwear.
I was bouncing around the grid the other day in mine for hours. This dress was released in december, and for many that means cold weather and wanting to rug up, for us down here it meant hot and sunny. I am not a big fan of summer as you may have guessed, but this time of the year, mid feb to march is that transition stage for all over the world, a change is approaching and wherever you are, to fend of the doldrums you need some vibrant colours just like this.
Plus nothing is funna than romping around in a romper suit look.
With the first pic I went a bit mad hatterish, in the form of the Dr John hat by Kari, this I have had for eons also and not as yet had an oppurtune moment for it, well today is the day. It comes with a texture change band and other cute embelishments, you can see it displayed at the Kari store.
The boots I have on are the Revolver boots by Beckenbauer Productions, an older style but still a huge favourite, these boots kick bum and are perfect for the ringleader in your household.
Starla and Distini are two AMAZING Hairstyles from Here Comes Trouble, the sculptie styles that are coming forth from HCT are just gorgeous, I have always loved my HCT hair and cannot wait to see what Babyboo has in store for us in the upcoming months as she has just completed classes in all sorts of stuff. It’s all about the Demos because once you try on the huge array of newness at HCT you should well be hooked.
Perched atop my Distini hair is the Mini TopHat by Scribble, there are two styles of top hat, one regular and this cute bow style mini version. Hats like this are so much fun, and because they are just supposed to be worn as if clipped to the hair, you don’t have to do much editing around your favourite styles.
The Estella heels are by Tesla, I have so much love for this shoe , the maryjane look with a more pointed toe and the beautiful ribbon bow at the back is just so cute, they come in an assortment of colours and the blue was just perfect for the pink and blue Circus treats dress by Canimal.
The luscious skins are both by Pulse, the first one is February which is a new thing started this year where Lorac makes one unique makeup/skin for the month, I missed showing january but February is divine, so you will need to make sure and check it out before the end of the month as I am not sure if they are going bye bye each month.
The second skin is the Kissed Passion-Liner by Pulse and the make up is so delicate and feminine, a slight gloss to the lips and the incredible use of shadow underneath the bottom lids as well, I adore this combo of colours and hope to see many more glossy lips in Pulse skins in the future.

One of my favourite looks in RL is a style that a friend of mine started selling at the markets many many many years ago. By merging vintage pieces, she came up with a look that would be now considered steam punk, but back then was just way too cool.
Recently I saw an item that just brought that memory back and was so excited to be able to show you.
DE Designs is a store that has been around for four years, which explains the recentish release of the 4 Year Gown. This set has multiple looks all merged into one fantastic effect. I was talking about my friends creations up top and this is very in keeping with what she used to do, taking vintage underwear, full petticoat skirts and then using suspenders and corsetry to layer and lift.
This set has a long system skirt that you can see in the middle, a fantastic tail style flexi gown skirt that is sheer tulle at the front sides, and doesnt cover the front of the skirt at all, its magnificent. The pants are a replication of the skirt and are so much fun in unbelievable textures. There is a sculpted waistband that also comes in a tan colour, but my preference in this case was for the black, and the cropped corset top with beautiful ruffle details has both spine and chest attachments so that you can wear divine jewelry with it.
Another fabulous feature of the 4 year set is the Gloves, sculpted tops and cuffs in more of a sleeve style than actual gloves, are something that you can mix and match with many other items. As soon as I put on 4 Year I knew exactly what hair I wanted to wear with it, the Garden Hair from Scribble is excentric and innovative all at once, the bubbles ascending from the top with the curly frond detailing which sits on top like a tiara, it is very out there hair but in many ways it is extremely elegant as well.
This hair reminds me of Emilie Simon’s incredible film clips, actually the whole Scribble Sim does, look HERE ( especially the Flowers song) if you haven’t seen her work before on You Tube, it’s not just the music that is wonderful, but who ever does her film clips is a genius.
The boots I am wearing underneath are the Goth Belt boots from J’s , the straps and buckles on these boots so suit the look of the suspender straps coming down the front of this outfit.
With Jewelry I went again with the Byzantine Cross set from Essentia, I showed close ups of this a few days ago, and there are demos in the store. The Skin is from Pulse and is the new Kissed/ Delight-lined skin, such beautiful skins always come out of the Pulse store, and this one is no exception.
The lips on this and all of the Pulse skins are just beautiful and full, glossier than some in the past and the make up around the eyes is just beautiful, each new skin release shows a little extra in the way Lorac executes her line, whether it be as simple as a slight change to the mouth, or the inner corners of the eyes, she gives you a simple but ever so effective lift, DEMO DEMO DEMO.
The next set also from DE Designs is the Paper Angel set. Again you get an assortment of pieces for this set, starting with the delightful and delicate – and no you arent seeing my bits – underwear and camisole top, take my word for it the front of the camisole is beautiful, which you can see under the jacket partially.Then moving down to the fabulous laced front pants, these are superbly done, as many try and do this effect down the sides and deal with seam issues, 4 years of dealing with templates really shows when coming to things like this, placing the lacing at the front of the thigh instead you get just as much effect as if it was on the side.
The pants come on both pants and underpants layers, so perfect if wanting to wear boots such as I am. The boots again are from J’s and are the Goth Lace Up boots, which also have bows options but I went for the plain look, such a steal are these boots as you get varying options of wear.
Finishing off the set is both the cropped open jacket, and the gloves, both have cuff detailing with prims and are defintely wearable items with lots of looks to come, the jacket would look especially great with the pants and suspenders combo of the 4 Year Set.
Again from Scribble we have the Stitch Knit/Black/Piggies hat/hair , I love this style not just because of the adorable texture change knitted cap ( changes pattern featured not colour ) but because of the adorable little pig tails that so remind me of the little girls hair in Monsters Inc * giggles and yells Mike Wazowski* .
The skin by Pulse is the Kissed/Magicial-liner, one thing I noticed about this skin earlier, is that without lashes it looks amazing, the lashes are drawn on the skin itself not using the template lashes, so it is effective as all get out, and again look at those lips YUM YUM YUM.
So if you haven’t been to DE Designs in a while, and that is definitely neglectful you have to visit soon, also take note, if its not something you are aware of or have noticed, all the backgrounds of the vendors are done well in advance of releases and are the highlight of DE Designs blog for me, I love when DoC teases us with the backgrounds for releases to come.

Fashionable Relay Challenge, Post One
Today is the start of the Fashionable Relay Challenge Click HERE for Info, I am so excited to see what happens, what people put together, and just the overall fun of it.
I am the first post, which made me nervous as hell, but someone has to do it. Ok so Yesterday I was so in love with the Green in the outfit that I wore that I decided to tap into that again.
Starting off with the delightful *sUmi* ruffle tube top apple, which is actually an item from Tuli , Sumi being a working alt that inspires her to do different things. I really enjoy the Sumi products, they have a great flare for colour and a 60-70’s kind of feel going on. The strip at the top of this tube top definitely has that going for it, and the ruffle hemline is adorable.
Now CKS Designs is an all time favourite, not just because Kit is a friend, but just because the ability to mix and match her products is so very easy, she does most of the work herself, always giving you an extensive amount of options and colours, and then vendoring them in such a way that you really see mix match concepts start to appear before you.
One of her huuuuge releases last year was the Summer Safari range, an array of pants, skirts, tops, shorts and jackets that were full of colour and vibrancy. The Summer Safari pants by CKS Designs that I have on are in black and make a great staple piece, but as mentioned, so many colour variations to choose from, and the jackets in that collection are MUST HAVES!.
It was great to pull out all stops in the accessories department, I knew for days that I wanted to wear a hat in this post, and totally flaked on being prepared for all this, but lucky for me I have a large enough assortment of hats to choose from and was totally overjoyed to pull my Geurilla hat by Kari out of mothballs. It also has the addition of two badges you can wear as well that add a bit more to the hat, but I kept it simple and effective, this hat looks wonderful on guys or girls.
Underneath the hat, some perfect in my opinion hat hair, this is the Saleen hair by Here Comes Trouble one of my favourite styles for years now , and only 1L for a fat pack at the main store, this hair is BRILLIANT for a straight hair lover, but also it is so easy to fit under hats, this time I didn’t even bother to edit seperate prims I just shrunk it a touch as the hat covers perfectly anyway.
I haven’t had a chance to show the Black version of the Bone & Silver engraved Choker by Studio Sidhe, I have shown the original and both are just fantastic, if you are a fan of bone jewelry this is also a MUST HAVE, I have at least 4 different variations in RL so I am stoked to have such beautiful pieces in SL too.
Sliding down my back we come across the Chibi Wings by Pink Fuel, I love these, they are soooooo cute, but seriously if someone doesn’t explain to me what a Chibi is I might just implode; I don’t want to google it , I just want someone to tell me lol. They have sparkle versions as well as spine or chest attachment, which is such a considerate thing to do, because not everyone can edit and if you have items that you can’t remove it is nice to have options.
On my left wrist I have the fabulous and often seen Medalion Bracelet by Essentia, I love this bracelet, and the earrings that you can buy as well are just fantastic, i would have worn them if you would have been able to see them lol; the reason I think I love this bracelet so much is the fact its so chunky but not a solid piece, its lots of little pieces that in my head make noise as I move, it reminds me of a charm bracelet – which I have to admit to always having been jealous of as a teen, not having had one.
On my right wrist I am wearing the Dian Bangle in black by DeLa, this is a great bangle as it has the appearance of many bangles in various design stacked on top of one another. When limited to attachment points like we are, this is a great design and beautiful piece to overcome those limitations.
Going down to my toesies, I am wearing the Frenzy Shoes by Maitreya, in such suple green leather, that your feet will be greatful to you. This style comes in so many brilliant colours, that are all so rich and you can practically smell that new leather smell. These are the kind of style shoes that when you come back from your overseas holiday everyone at the office wants to kill you, not because of the trip but the shoes you got that they can’t have.
Lastly I am wearing the Lelutka London 7b Sunkissed skin, I really enjoy how fresh this skin makes me feel , with the combination of such vibrant colour in the top and shoes, the simplistic ‘bare of make up’ look in the London range; makes you feel like you are putting your best face forward. I cannot wait to see what future skins LeLutka has in store for 2009, in not only skins but everything else in their range. But next time a skin does get made can I PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE get a shaved option, pretty please with Milo on top ?. I is homeless now so I need public changing safe skins and to not have to swing my cam around to check that nothing is showing when changing clothes, yeah yeah I know you have heard my plea’s before,but *bats eyelashes at Minnu* PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAASSSEEEEEEEEEE ??? ( still love you anyway mwah and a big tight hug to Ara just coz )

The skills that creators have here are just inspiring. Some items can have you so excited not just because they are new and they are fabulous, but in more ways; example is to want to really play with the item in different ways, and in this case I had a blast. Read on for a detailed run down of the items shown today, so many options you will be relieved to hear about I am sure.
SLink recently released the Glamour Platforms , these are sculpted feet set inside magnificent open toed strappy stilettos. Forget the sculpted foot and toes for a second, the style of shoe is pin up perfection. The double strap cross-over front, with the strips of leather down the side supporting the shape of the foot, and the fantastic heel support which then go on to become a collaboration with the ankle straps, way too much to love in just one style shoe.
But then it gets better, there is the sculpted foot and toes, with the high sexy arch and the subtle shading, way down to the perfectly pedicured nails. But wait there is more, adorning said toes are toe rings, and not just any toe rings but a choice of metals and patterns for both toes or one, depending on your mood, which you also have the choice to not wear.
Now you may ask how does that happen, a dropdown perhaps ? nope, nada, no… you see Siddean Munro has a secret Mastermind in her den of shoe creation, and his name is Caine Munro and he is a *drumrolls* SCRIPTER! *giggles*. Sorry he was very deserving of the build up, Caine has created with input from his lovely Siddean a HUD that not only lets you choose what colour toe rings you want, but also what colour nailpolish you desire to wear – there 36 to choose from, but you also get to choose what the metail and buckle colour is from four metal choices.
But wait there is more, now you are wondering I am sure how I was able to perfectly match my shoes to my legs, you know from the past that sometimes such things are very complicated and hair pulling out inducing. Welllll the wise Siddean who also makes skins added her three skin range tones to the hud as well, so now you can put on any of her Miyu, Bijou or Anya skins and VOILA click what tone you have on and you are good to go.
“But Sasy I do not have a SLink Skin” , well my answer to that comes in two forms, the first is WHY NOT? and the second is ‘That doesn’t matter” also included is a full colour scale interactive thingymadoozie that you can click on and it will colour your feet and toes to the specified colour, now that will take a bit of trial and error , but once you get it you have got it.
BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE!, so some of you have PS or GIMP and other painty programs, well if that is the case and the colour thingy is a bit beyond you, you can take a snapshot to your harddrive of your skin, then use the eyedropper on it in one of those programs, and then use /13 skin number, number, number in chat and you are good to go, it really can’t get much better than that ;).
With each shoe colour you get three choices for the heels of the shoe, coloured heel, which is the colour of the shoe itself, Metal Heel which is silver, and Gold Metal Heel, as well as small, medium and large in both the foot portion and the ankle straps, I myself mix small shoes with medium straps, don’t ask me why because I don’t know.
In this first pic I am wearing the Glamour Platforms by SLink in the black , with the Anya Skin in Bronzed Tone and Smokey Eyes Make Up, as I said all it took was a quick click of the correct tone and I was done. The hair is the Babydoll Hair by ::69:: as is all the hair shown today. The Lingerie is the Lacy Lingerie by SLink in black as I have shown in the past but thought it was way funna to wear it all over again.
Now the chair you see me posing on today is the Modeling Chair by Lost Dog Designs, it has 8 fabulous poses in it and is a ridiculously low 200L , definitely a Must Have for anyone that likes taking pics.
Tooooooo Cute, yes I am all for loving myself to bits in this pic. I am also all about loving the Red Glamour Heels, with the Pale Bijou Skin in Retro Make Up by SLink , ahhhhhhhhh way too easy to look so fab.With the Red Lacy Lingerie I was feeling very Vintagey so the Bijou skin was a must, and then finding the perfect gloves from an Awesome Designs set called Masterpiece just made my day, got to love the ability to just type gloves in search inventory and pilfer items from other sets lol.
Now the Dolly Girl Hair 02 by ::69:: does not come with a red bow, it does have red or white options though, but instead of tinting I wanted something richer, so making a copy of the hair first I then added a rich glossy red texture and instant pin up goodness.
Then I got creative, why can’t you have sexy feet no matter what colour/tone you are? well you can, that is the whole point. The fascinating Tan Drow Cupcakes Bare Skin from Popfuzz had me wanting to try my hand at using the actual colour picker tool, clicking near the bluish tones I nailed a darker tone of this skin colour straight away, then using the side light/dark slider I was able to bring it down a notch or ten and bingo, it is that easy.To celebrate my match with a Popfuzz skin I wore more Popfuzz, this is the Brocade Corset, with matching panties in the baby pink – the Brocade sets come in a wonderful array of pastel colours – to match up with the Candy Pink Glamour Platforms.
This is the first time I have had reason to wear my Model Hair 01 by ::69:: and it worked a treat, the hair comes with a built in pose, which is hilarious when you are in the store trying on the demo and suddenly you are flung to the ground. It also comes with seperate poseball with the same pose which you can use with other hair.
Another try with the colour pallete, this time with the Dark Drow Cupcakes Edition Skin by Popfuzz…This time choosing the Gold Metal heels and base, with the Deep Sea coloured Glamour Platforms by SLink. As some of you know I am a true blue silver lover, which looks funny as a statement – thats twice in the last 24 hours I have said true blue with another colour, no wonder Mel says I’m nuts – anywayyy the combination is wonderful and it really gives you a great ability to mix and match and embrace metalics into your looks.Again the matching to the skin was painless and the beautiful Lace Corset from Popfuzz just added to my joy on the overall look. Those corsets are a must have, and I am very aware I am repeating myself on those, but truly if you don’t have at least one of them you are letting yourself down.
On one of my past visits to SLink I could not pass up this next set, it is the Ruched Blouse and Pencil Skirt set in Lime, oh lime how I love thee, as long as you aren’t the actual fruit and anywhere near my mouth. This combo is HOT HOT HOT, the Verde Glamour Platforms are the perfect match to this look , the slight metalic look to the green texture just adds more oomph.You know I am all about the System skirt love, and when you combine a system skirt with an adorable blouse and thin belt like this I am in heaven. Wearing with the combo, the lovely Green Hair Rose by Essentia and the Rush2 Hair by ::69:: which is a lovely pigtails look with really full tails.
The Skin is the Miyu Skin with Green Eyes Make Up, again one click and I was done, thanks to the SLink skins being built into the HUD.
Lastly I wanted to show you how fasntastic these shoes look with pants as well. Now these Skinny Jeans in Brown by SLink do have sculpted prims, but even with pants with no cuffs the shoes work incredibly well, the cuffs will remove the straps that do help in making the join from sculptie to leg less visible, but with cuffs from pants covering anyway you wont need them.I needed a top to go with , so running over to SLink tonight I grabbed this incredible top called Metal Collar Halter , this style top is just wonderful for dressy casual like this or more formal affairs, the sculpted necklace style collar is just divine, I have a think for that style in jewelry so I was not able to click on buy fast enough, I can see many wanting to wear that collar with other things, it really is just a stunning combo and the drape and shading on the halter is superb, I got it in the beige colour so that it could go with the Taupe Glamour Platforms and it comes up a treat as a mix, the Taupe are just beautiful in texture as they all are, but this one would definitely become a go to pair easily.
Also from SLink I am wearing the Milan Sunglasses in Brown, beautiful sculptie work yet again, and the hair is Envy by ::69:: , last easy click went with the Anya Skin in Merlot Make Up, this whole look is something that can bring you well into the night and then back out again, because we have all had those nights that ended up sunlit mornings where you thank the Gods you managed to have sunnies in your bag. I am also wearing the Medalion bracelet by Essentia, which you can now get seperately and for both wrists YAY, Demos available in the store.
Ok so that was my fun for the night, now its time for you to go make your own, but seriously try the Glamour Platforms by SLink if you haven’t already they are just superb.
