As I mentioned previously Skin Addiction Skin Showcase is in full swing. So this post is of course a skin post, but with some beautiful Mesh swimwear recently released by the same creator.

Baiastice skins have always been so lovely for me, and the make ups on this Kate skin are super sexy. The full lips and stunning eyeshadows are all part of the Kate package for this event. The make ups are actually on tatoo layers, and the skins themselves come with hairbase options or not, with brows in blonde, brown, black and red. The skin also has freckles, cleavage and pubic hair add ons included.

What stood out for me in the face, apart from the make ups, is the brows. They are mid range when it comes to thickness, not too thick not too slim, but have a coarseness to them that leads to thinking they have been very well groomed. I really like that idea, that this skin is about doing the most to achieve a very beautiful look over all, and showing a more mature facial structure as well.

The Bikinis I am wearing are also from Baiastice, they are MESH and modeled really well in the Standard Sizing sizes, in these I am wearing small upper and xxs lower. The texturing is lovely, and they are perfect for the upcoming sunnier weather.

The hair is by Mina and is actually one of the My Attic @ The Deck items for May, this style is shown in the default way in this post, but there are also three extra attachments you can add, for the back and front sides to add even more length and volume, so cool to have that option, but I had to keep it shorter so you could see the bikini.

June 3rd which is right around the corner will be Chic’s 2nd Birthday Bash, this event was huge last year, and proves to be huge again this year, so look out for that one as well.

Often as is the case with photography in Second Life, there can be a feeling of too much space. If you aren’t a location photographer, you can sometimes opt for kitting out your space to fill that void. Unfortunately though, you can spend more time than you have, searching all through your inventory for bits and pieces to fill that area, and then as a blogger, you have to gather all the info and credit it – well you should, I don’t know if you do or not. With the introduction of the WinxBox though, that has all changed. The first of many to come is the Artist Studio WinxBox by W.Winx, and it is available at this edition of My Attic @ The Deck. 

The first one is actually a collaboration effort with Adorkable Poses, they not only provided the poses that come with this awesome box, but also did an additional add on pack called Paint Me, that are also part of the My Attic event. The WinxBox and all the ones that are yet to come, were made with shadows/windlight in mind, so that you could get really beautiful effects from not only the windows and skyroof, but also the props within. I am using my two favourite poses that come with the WinxBox and one that comes with the PaintMe pack, so as you can see, you will definitely want both. The WinxBox is small enough to fit inside your own skybox or outdoors, it has a transparent front, so you can see in, but you cannot see out, so you can take shots from any angle. Also all the pieces are included as separate items, so you can use them for other scenes if wanted.

Another two items shown are the amazing MESH bustier and hotpants, they are by One Bad Pixel and are guest designers at My Attic. The leather work on these is fabulous, and the fit is standard sizing, but there are of course demos to try before you buy. With items shaped around the breasts you may need to tweak your gravity and cleavage a little bit, it will depend on your shape. Not only is it a raunchy outfit, but the top is definitely going to be a perfect wearable with other looks.

The other beautiful My Attic item, is Aria the Mesh hair by Ploom. This pigtail do is naughty school girl perfection, with a little Sucker Punch thrown in for good measure. I especially like the dipped and tips options of texture when it comes to this style, so seeing as it’s such an incredible price until the 31st, definitely the time to test out those packs.

Now in a day from now, on the 25th, the Skin Addiction Showcase event starts, I mentioned this yesterday, but it really is well thought out and beautiful to attend. There are so many incredible skin creators in attendance, and so many new and exciting skins to try. There are also as I mentioned before, GIFTS! You do need to join the Skin Addiction group to be able to get them though, but the group is free to join, so do not delay. One of the NEW skins being released at the event, is Isla, a stunning new skin from League. The skin is being released in this sexy Deep Smoke make up, and the new Isla face is just beautiful. The Isla skin comes with many features, including brow options in blonde, brunette and black…freckles which are just so cute, and there are some matt lipstick layers, as well as nail covers so you can wear prim nails. Make sure you grab the demos at the showcase, because Isla is going to definitely become a fast favourite.

My Attic @ The Deck is now in full swing, and has been so wonderful to watch people taking real time to peruse all the fabulous items created for this event. Last time I posted I showed all the items really fast, this time I decided to spread them out a bit, just as I do other events. Speaking of other events, Skin Addiction is about to get underway on the 25th, which is exciting. The event is a showcase event, with many amazing skin stores showing items from their latest lines. Check with the Skin Addiction website, and Join the Skin Addiction Group as there will be Gifts set up during the event. Another great event that I cannot wait to visit is the RFL Home Expo…I did not know about this event early enough, but I am glad to have found out about it due to great posts by Willow Zander.

The lace up dress by DCNY is so beautiful, it has a short sexed up version, or the long full gown. You get both in the pack and the beautiful rose attachment brooch, which will be a great addition to many other looks. For the short version I paired it up with the Love Lust Lace Leggings from The Strand, these are lace front and back but have solid sides and inners, so they are definitely more leggings than stockings. There are five pairs in the pack, and I went with the ones with the large rose to tie in with the dress brooch.

With the gown version of the dress, I chose the beautiful red as it looks wonderful with the hair by EMO-tions called Memory. This hair is very vintage in style, and with the rose attachment – separate – it has a beautiful Spanish look to it. The hair is constructed with prims as well as the use of a hair base tattoo as well. I love the way the strands have been made at the top of the hair, to see what I mean, wear it without the base first.

Another stunning hair at My Attic @ The Deck is the Secret Summer hair by Exile, this hair has texture change options for the floral print on the headband – it is edit, so I dragged it to the ground and tinted it – this hair is so beautiful and the way the soft waves flow down one side of the front, allowed me to move the brooch to the other side.

The skin I am wearing in two different tones is by Ploom and a previously unreleased make up for My Attic @ The Deck. Beautifully pouty and gorgeous eyeshadow. You get the skin in blonde or dark brows as well as cleavage options, and nail covers to help with prim fingernails.

A big shout out to Gogo for helping me get back some posts that I had lost in a recent update, I was so sad about it as I really liked them, and didn’t have the info to repost them or I would have. But through Gogo’s genius, she made me aware that if you add blogs to your Google Reader, that they often don’t update for a long time, and can still retain old posts even if deleted, sure enough I added my own blog to my own Google Reader and there they were in full, so copy and paste and VOILA back on track…I am so happy and greatful that she knew this, so THANK YOU Gorgeous Yongho !

Second Shout Out goes to Dove Swanson of Long Awkward Pose, if you haven’t heard, she is CLOSING DOWN her store in the next few weeks forever. Until then all poses are reduced, so you need to go and get all the ones you never did before then. Dove has been an incredible Pose-maker for many years, she saw holes in the market and filled them often. She definitely did a lot to make mens photography expand, as there was such a small choice in that area of poses until she came along. Also many have such fun memories of her ‘Poop Hunts” and her April Fools jokes. She will be missed as a creator, but she is staying on as a resident, and she has definitely contributed to making Second Life a very photographic space. Thank you Dove xoxox

Another big shout out to all the incredible designers that are about to be part of the next edition of My Attic, I am so excited, the items I have seen so far are just HOT HOT HOT, the theme is Memories of Love and Lust, and I am loving and lusting over it all. That will start at 00.01am 21st May, so just after midnight. I am actually featuring two of the designers participating in this post, not their items, because that would be cheating lol.

The Mesh delights from One Bad Pixels most recent release are these amazing leather pants, and the beautiful Blossom Cheong. The cheong comes with a mesh thong and a HUD that lets you change the piping off the dress to the same colour as the dress, black or a contrast colour…so three dresses in one so to speak. I love the subtleness of this version, the mainly solid silk texture with just enough embellishment across the bottom with the sakura.

I love great leather pants, and one of my previous favourite pairs were actually made by Sachi Vixen of Adam n Eve/One Bad Pixel…so to now have the combined efforts of Siddean Munro and Sachi Vixen using Mesh it is all win.

One thing I always notice in sci-fi themed movies, is that there is always a woman or man somewhere about wearing something that is asian inspired…so to mix sYs with these items was easy, first the bodysuit you can only see from the back because it is sheer, and I don’t do nakey, so you will have to just trust me, it is hot. Then you have the boots, these are so adorable, they expose a fake foot heel at the back with a hud you can use to easily tint to match skin, they also have lace up detailing at the back, but it is the obvious jump around bouncy look to the bases I just love the most, I could romp around on these all day and night with ease…and they just look so cute with the dress.

If you haven’t seen the latest sYs collection you really need to check it out, there are also mens items, and they are all so fun and inspired.

New today and so beautiful are the two styles of hair from LeLutka, the first is Daisy, which you cannot see the front because I was hiding my breasts lol, and the second is 6122 which is so adorable. I love their new ad layout too for the hair, so dynamic, you can see the Daisy front on HERE, but I assure you it will be worn numerous times again.

Ok so the One Bad Pixel Designer guess who contest ended tuesday night, and if you didn’t enter then don’t be too upset, because even though you will not have won their next release, you will still win in being able to purchase it, because it is going to be just as awesome as their first collection. The answer is HERE and many of you will not be surprised at all, knowing that the two content creators are an incredible pairing, and that they are both chock full of talent. I for one cannot wait to see more from them as One Bad Pixel, but also always look forward to the items released under their own individual stores. Now onto another duo…

Mon Tissu had releases last week, and two of the other items released are these fun cuffed denim shorts and the ruffled shell tops. One thing both designers of this duo do well is shorts, and the denim cut offs from Tres Blah are some of my favorites, so mesh cuffed ones are equally awesome. The ruffled tops come in both sheer and solid versions which is wonderful, and so in the black sheer version I am wearing a bodysuit underneath from Maitreya, and went further along and included the girdle and stockings. In the first look I am wearing the Triumph boots again from GoS they are so punky fun, so they tied up the look perfectly.

Speaking of tied up, the hair I am wearing is called Tangled, by Magika. Magika has been releasing a lot of great Mesh hairstyles lately, and their hair packs are a steal, with 25 natural colours in one and 25 not natural colours in the other at only 250L each. At the moment, if you are a group subscriber member you can get a great style in a faded coloured colour, like a cherry glaze, so make sure and join up and grab that while you can.

New Dress, New Bag, New Shoes, New Hair…Oh Yeah!

When it has come to texture clothing, I have always been a bit meh about layers being combined, not really a bit, more like a lot really. But that was because of all the possibilities I could foresee with pieces of each item, the chance to incorporate parts into other looks and so on. That desire has not changed, not really, but with Mesh one thing I have noticed that when on the go, having all in one looks is such a timesaver, and also just this side of really innovative. Yes it can allow for a quick snatch and wear, but it also gives you a real idea at the full representation of a look. Do I still wish the items were broken up, sure, of course I do, but when items are so good together, then I will just relish that we have them at all.

Such is the case with the new Silk Tucked Pencil Dress, the all in one look has a sleeveless silk blouse, and it really is a blouse look, I especially like the open mandarin style collar, allowing for just enough of a line towards the cleavage but not too much. The high waited skirt portion of this dress is belted with a slim belt, enhancing the shape. I am also a big fan of the sleevelesness of the dress, seeing as with sleeveless items I am back to a S not an M. It is because of my shoulders that I need the larger size, but with this style I still get to keep my broad shoulders.

The bag I am using, is the Sophmore Satchel bag, also a Mon Tissu release, which is a great satchel style, and the leather work is really beautiful. I like how the long strap is brought up towards the shorter hand strap, which makes for more sense.

I am wearing the new J’s shoes which are adorable with the bows at the front and the sling backs. But I especially love the use of lace as the fabric encompassing the foot. They come in six colours and have a hud to change the feet. These shoes are MESH so even though feet in shoes, the ankle will bend with your movement. They also come in various sizes, I am wearing the M/L size, which goes well with my height. There are skin presets, and rgb options, I am never good with that option, so it did take me some work, but as many people know their skin rgb these days, they should be easy enough to tint to match…DEMO DEMO DEMO.

The New hair is Cacey from Ploom, a Mesh style also, with so many different textures in each pack now that the textures have all been revamped, so make sure and check out lots of the options. Also the hair comes in two sizes now, in case you need more of a fit with Mesh.

Buying a new dress in RL is something that can be so exciting, depending on what the dress is for. Whether a first date, a night out, or a special occasion. When you find the right one it is even more exhilarating, you cannot wait to wear it, cannot wait to be complimented on it and in it.

All those feelings came to the surface with this new release from Celoe, the mesh dresses April and May are just delightful and sexy. April is the strappy style that as sexy as it is, can also be very innocent and demure looking at the same time. You can dress it up, or wear it very casually as I have done in this post, with again the favorite flats from Mon Tissu. The Parasols are the LISP item at Collabor88/April so make sure you grab them because the poses inbuilt are just great, and they are so very colourful and pretty.

May is the sexy and sophisticated cocktail dress, with the strapless bodice, and the flared out hip shape that is very creative, and just looks wonderful as you move. The shape and shading around the bottom and backs of legs just allows the eyeline to travel down to your legs, and be an overall look of class and elegance. The thin bow belt just gives it a touch of innocence that brings the whole look together, it really is so beautiful and comes in four colours, I only showed three of them.

I had an exciting evening last night, it was the launch of the New One Bad Pixel store, and what a night, and what an incredible MESH collection. The whole night was surrounded by intrigue, “Who are the Designers?” behind One Bad Pixel…have you guessed yet, have you sent in your note-card with your guess so that you can win the contest? I will give you a hint, and hopefully not get in trouble for doing so but here goes – LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. So make sure you go and grab the info note-card when you are in the store buying all the goodies. Also when there you will want to join the subscriber as there are a gorgeous pair of cigarette pants in copper as a gift. Also if you have the group room you will want to join and get an extra dose of store credit on your purchases if you are wearing the group tag.

Now lets talk about the actual items shall we. First up in the pic we have the divine cigarette pants, as stated you can get a pair free in the subscriber – these are really pretty and shiney fun. The top I am wearing is actually the Babytux bra, and as you will see I have removed the bow and straps in the laying down on my back pic, and removed the bow only in the side lay me. This set comes with a HUD that makes little modifications that just add so much to the overall style and value of the item. The hud lets you change the colour of bow and straps to either black or white, or make them vanish. I love those options so much, because it lets you wear the bra top as a top that can be sexy and also really laid back and casual. I also love the lines of the halter strap they are so lovely.

The Next pic where I am strutting my stuff is all WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The Glomesh halter is divine, this Studio 54 70′s inspired top is to die for and so on the mark it is not even funny. I grew up in the Glomesh days, and my Mum had some incredible Glomesh pieces, that this is seriously first rate recreation. I am wearing it with the Crop Jeans, also another lovely Mesh item, and they look and fit so snug. Lastly and a tad rique, is me in my Cherry Cheong Thong say that ten times fast. The thong panties come with the Cherry Cheong Dress, and they fit so well, of course everything at One Bad Pixel is Standard Sizing, so YAY. The Cherry Cheong is gorgeous and again it comes with a HUD, and the HUD is brilliant. You get not one, not two but three options for the piping on this dress. You get the same colour as the dresses main colour, then you get black piping which really changes the look, then you get a contrast piping that picks up a colour from the colours infused throughout the dress itself depending on the main colour. So each Cheong has a different third piping BRILLIANT.

The other brilliant thing in these pics are the hairs, ok so the first two pics are the latest and VERY FIRST HAIR from La Viere. Seriously for first time hair, these styles are not only cute, beautiful and adorable, but  textures are fabulous, I cannot wait to see more hair from them. The other two styles are the latest from Wasabi Pills and so sexy hot as well, the shaved side hair is at Fantasy Fair, and the base comes with…a really lovely relaxed hawke kind of do, and it is available in male or female. Also the Shiki hair is just all sorts of pretty, and I will wear it again so you can see it better.

I am wearing the NEW Favorite Flats from Mon Tissu in the first and last pic, I love these flats, so simple and mesh lovely. They come in a slew of colours and the texturing with the stitching around the rim is just delightful. I will show more of the colours in the future but seriously since their release other than to shoot the other pics, I have not taken them off.

The Disco Poses are from Frozen Panty Poses and the disco stage and walls are all part of that set, including the Disco ball that rotates, so much fun, with poses included in the item, and the one of the right is from another pose pack from their store. The Disco set can be found at their booth at Pose Fair. Also at Pose Fair are the FROOTI poses I used in the third picture, a mix of sweet and sexy just like their creator, so do not hesitate in going and getting all the goodies.

Other than the poses I of course used my VR Studio HUD and Posestand for all these pics, I actually took the poses out from the prop for easier use in the stand. The VR Studio HUD also allowed me to be able to lock camera with ease and take all the pics needed to look like there was more of me than there was. I can also use the VR Studio Library HUD to shoot on location or just when I am out and about strike a pose anywhere I want to. That for me is the most amazing system, always wearing my VR Studio HUD also lets me control the stands of my friends who also use the system, so I can take control of Whimsy’s Stand and move her all over the place if I need to…we have done shoots in the past that way where she went to cook dinner and I did pics lol.

I have been to Adelaide, and I probably daydreamed there. I was 13 so it is highly probably, plus I was like crushing a little bit on a boy while I was there, so yeah chances are pretty high that there was a lot of daydreaming done. But then I returned to Sydney, where the days are funna and the dreams are longer…and the men are HOTTER! – here I am representing again, but at least this time I actually live here lol.

So rambling you think I am doing, but it all makes sense, because the gorgeous vintage inspired bra and panties are actually called Adelaide and part of the Daydream Theme of this months Collabor88. Anywho SYDNEY ROCKS, and now that we have that all tied away, so do these sets of lingerie, seriously so sexy and shapely, love them…want them in darker colours next please Miss Buck.

The necklace I have on is the Daydream necklace from League, again at Collabor88, and so beautiful, it has three different strand options, single to triple and in between, two attachment points and moving textures of clouds across the pendants, or still, whichever you prefer. The hair I am wearing is by Clawtooth, again you guessed it…collabor88 and it is Clawtooths first mesh release and so sensual as a style. He has two at the event so be sure to try on both while there.

lastly the skin I am wearing is the lovely Dailyn skin from Izzies, this skin has all the beautiful add ons that come with Izzies skins. Eyeshadows in many colours, add on lipsticks as well as nail covers and cleavage options and brows…DEMO DEMO DEMO such a beautiful face.
