Recently The Loft did a huge release of a mesh house – which is amazing looking – and interiors that are texture change with so many beautiful colour options that you will be in decorating heaven for ages. Today I am showing the Tribeca Bedroom, which is set inside the Casa Bramasole house by Deer Co. I also added an older mesh item from The Loft which was the Frezza Sofa, also with texture change options that brought it together well with the use of blues and orange/coral colours. The headboards are sold separately, so for those that have their own beds already, this will definitely give it an uplift, but the bed itself has so many fun options besides the obvious love of texture changing and pillow accents. There are so many cool animations included, for single use, couples and friends. I really like the fact that you can also exercise, as the bed places you at the foot end of the bed on the floor and rezzes a workout matt and other bits and pieces. The bed even gives you handweights so you can get into shape for the Olympics in 2016.

With the Olympics comes sporty looks and Boom has recently for FaMESHed released the Twenty Three t’s, with 23 countries represented. If your country is not there, and you have enough people wanting it, Aranel said she may do some more if it is a real want from her customers. So get sporty and represent your country, even if it is only in your wonderful bedroom by The Loft.

Three whole sims full of newness. It is definitely building into an event to remember and it only just began. The Vintage Fair 2012 build – by Cory Edo – is full mesh and incredible work. There are hundreds of stores, and if you keep everything to your left you can weave through all three sims and back again – just in case you missed something or decided to think about it.  Each booth is a great size, and everything is easy and clear to buy from.

Three different looks today, and all such fun looks that I would wear day in and out. The first is the Dotty look. This is definitely a frock worth picking up, it is pretty and girly and fits and moves well. The Simplicity Dress is by Sakide, and I just adore the large polka dots with thick white banding to the dress. There were belt options, but I was not digging them for the overall look. I flew over to Toki Doki to grab another of the oversized bow packs I just love, and I was blessed that there was in fact a very similar print as the dress – I did edit the texture just a little bit to make them more in keeping with the dot sizes of the dress.

The headband on this recent release from Elikatira of the Studio hair was just perfect, gorgeous straight style with thick heavy bangs, perfect. The other two styles are also from Elikatira, the control hair is a lovely side braid medium length look, and the swept bangs on this style were a great way to show off my new from Vintage Fair glasses by Artilleri. I have just about every pair of glasses ever made from that store, and was so chuffed that these were not alpha ones as have been great in the past, but now these are just awesome. They are called Meredith and you really need them. Other must haves from Vintage Fair are the Maxi’s Jewelry releases. In this pic I am wearing the Beatrice earrings and Necklace – short – there is a long option as well, but this worked better for the outfit. They would normally be a dressier evening kind of look, but they also worked so well for this outfit.

The Tartan Corset is one of many fabrics available at the NV booth at Vintage Fair, this is a stunning print and the corset fit so well. There are also latex and leather options, but this tartan one is a MUST HAVE. It works so well with the older One Bad Pixel Cigarette Pants, and then following them down to the NEW released at Vintage Fair 2strap Vintage pumps that are ADD ONS for the new Medium Height – on your toes – bare feet in rigged mesh by SLink. Gosh that was a mouthful. But yes the new medium height bare feet are rigged mesh and will allow for bare foot walking on your toes and looking all dainty and stuff, and as an incentive to buy them, there are the new pumps that slip over the top of them – use add not wear – and this is just the first of many shoes that will be made for them.

I am wearing them without the pumps – which are delightful as a shoe for those that don’t always want a death defying heel – in this next pic, which you see them just barely poking out the bottom of this gorgeous boho skirt by Crash Republic. I love this skirt, I love it so much, I have to go back and see what other prints it comes in. This floral print though is just everything, it has that home made grandmas quilting circle shabby chic awesomeness about it. Perfect fit size wise, and it went so well with the tied top by Le Primitif, which work as a perfect backdrop for the different length necklaces by Maxi’s. The floral print on the skirt worked so well too with the oversized amazing flower that comes with the Unfold hair from Elikatira. It has a HUD for colour changing included.

Now about that skin. Meet Betty, she is the newest Belleza skin and released at Vintage Fair. There are only four tones at the fair, the rest will be released at their final release date, but I am wearing the Tan and it is beautiful. Now the reason you HAVE to go and get this skin at Vintage Fair is that there are four make ups that will only be at the event apparently, unless they get beaten up afterwards by angry customers. But as it stands now, they are only there and they are HOT HOT HOT. Also as a special for the event, you can buy the individual special make ups for only 1000L but you get them in all four tones, so for those that like to lighten and darken your skin from season to season, this is the deal for you.

It is a whirlwind of wonderful events right now. Vintage Fair 2012 is about to open on the 4th of August, and FaMESHed has opened its doors for the August session. The clothing I am wearing are items from Tutti Frutti for Vintage Fair 2012, the pants are of the wide legged variety, and they are really beautiful, especially the stunning print options they come in. These evergreen ones are beautiful and really easy to wear with the solid ruffle top, also by Tutti Frutti. I really like that they are doing solids now, it gives so many more options to wear their items.

Other Vintage Fair 2012 are the amazing Birdy ring and earrings by Glow Studio. They have those green hunter type ducks amongst oversized gold earrings and a lovely oversized ring. There are other colours available, but the gold option just worked so well with this combination. I did have to move the earrings around a little, just for realism, as the skin I am wearing has ear pierced hole marks, and you have to keep it real right.

FaMESHed August is a huge session with so many great designers showing their original mesh work. The hair I have on is Sylvie by Wasabi Pills, this is a high crown low pony with full bangs, and is really nice dressy or casual. As FaMESHed items are only available at FaMESHed during the session, you will want to get over there to grab it, and not wait for it to be in the store.

The options on the New LeLutka hair Swish are awesome, it says it is a 4 in 1 style but with a bit of resizing and imagination you can do more. You can resize the bun and get a really great formal updo, or quirky bun look, either way it is gorgeous, then if you add the Cachet ponytail to the bun, you get a really retro gogo dancer kind of look that is beautiful and sexy. Then if you add the Cachet pony to the Swish base hair, you have another great high pony look with the added bonus of texture change ribbon. Then take the tail from Magdalene and add to the bun and the base and you have another look, remove the base and just do the bun and the tail of Magdalene and you have another. These add on attachment pieces are just incredible and fun to find new ways to wear. You can see I labeled the pics so you can work it out from there. I love that these work so well also with the LeLutka Hairbases which are now only 100L a pack of ten colours and tintable.

The shorts I am wearing are from Tee*fy and will be part of August session of FaMESHed, which starts tomorrow. You can find all pertinent information about FaMESHed and upcoming designers HERE. I think this style of shorts is so sexy, and very 70’s in design, there are twelve colours that will be at FaMESHED and others will be in the Tee*fy mainstore.

The poses I am using for this post are by oOo Studio who are one of the sponsors of this years Vintage Fair. You have got to visit their booth, even if you are not a pose user, because their pose set posters are incredible. They have been able to recreate the vintage style of advertising and promotional movie type posters from way back, and it is remarkable to see. Vintage Fair starts on the 4th of August so mark your calendars, because the builds are beautiful, the items on show that I have seen so far are wonderful and there is just so much shopping to be done.

The lace undershirt I am wearing is also from Plastik for Vintage Fair and I knew it would be an instant wearable with so many different looks, this was so easy to wear with the corset from Tee*fy.

Today as is the tradition, it is the last day of Hair Fair 2012 which means Bandana Day, where we “Remove our hair to show we care”. Do you have to do this, nope, is it fun, yes.  Every year residents from all over, send in bandanas they have made prior to the fair opening and they are sold for 50L and the money goes to Wigs for Kids. Every year I am floored not only by the great imagination these bring out, but also the kindness and some even include notecards explaining why it is important to them to be part of this. Those always make me cry.

Some over the years have become collectibles, and I am showing just five of the dozens for sale, so you can get some idea of how fabulous they are. Tekelili Tantalus always wows me, and this years armor style bandana is AMAZING, it even has wings this year. There is a boys and girls option to purchase and a few different colours you can choose.

The top left is actually by KittyCats co-creator Callie Cline, so you will find that if you have the breeds she created, then you will be all fabulous and matchy to your cats, but if not then its all about the faux fur awesomeness.  Bottom left is by Dita Tran of Fulo Jewelry and is a very stylish look, that can be purchased in four colours and is really classy looking.

Top right is by Thora Charron of LeLutka, and is all mesh and the scarf ends are separate and rigged, so it will move with your body. The top portion is non rigged so you can resize it to fit, as all Bandanas are modify. The tiedye fabric is so soft and pretty in this one. Hinako of Hinako Hairstore made the adorable one on the bottom right, and it is so cute with the little doll and banana sleeping on the top.

2.5 hours until Bandana Day, and I didn’t get all my hair posted in time but I still have great hair to feature after Hair Fair 2012 ends as it will all be in the stores after that. Not enough hours in the day and night, but I did try, and my hair goes off to all of the incredible bloggers that did such amazing posts all during this past two weeks to help spread the word on Hair Fair 2012, not only for Wigs for Kids, but for the generosity of all these hair creators all coming together for this event every year, some new but the majority are veterans of  Hair Fair and impress with each year.

All four stores in this post have been in previous fairs, one of them was the original founder of the event back in 2006. That would of course be Elikapeka Tiramisu of Elikatira. I remember my first year on the Hair Fair committee in 2007 and how welcome Six Kennedy and Elika made me feel, it was an honor to be part of it all, and has been ever since. The two styles of hers I am showing are the Sparrow and Flattery, these styles are gorgeous, and Sparrow was so much more than first glance. The bangs are beautiful but the sides and how the tail is constructed in this hairstyle is just skillful beauty. Flattery is vava voom hair, super sexy and I can see it being a full time hair for many ladies in SL.

With these styles I am wearing the beautiful and sunny Valerie dress from Decoy, which is so pretty and simple, an easy to wear favourite. Speaking of Decoy that leads us to the next two styles. Decoy doesn’t make hair that often and SHAME ON HER. Seriously these two styles had me at Glow…lol I almost lost Mel to Annette during set up for the fair, they are both big fans of the glow function in edit, trying to send me blind they are, he put glow on in her whole booth I swear you could see it from space. Aella and Ren are beautiful styles, and Aella comes in three sizes and Ren in two, so you should be fine for fit, I was on both and so yum over the red packs. I did not change brows though for them, but I do like the brunette brows on the Isla skin for these anyway. Aella is another style I can see being a very popular all time style for many. The beautiful top I am wearing is also Decoy, and really if we could just find a way to have her create clothes with her left hand and hair with her right, we would be very lucky shoppers.

Another fantastic hair creator that rarely makes hair…I am praying that changes with mesh now. Every single Hair Fair Toast Bard blows me away with her hair. From quirky and playful styles with tin pots on their heads, to beautiful delicate braided tails and goggle  hairs, to this years Saturday and Sunday styles that just make me want to wear them both at once. I want to be that girl, the kind of girl that wakes up with hair like this. It is just so sexy without even having to try. A lot like the Tres Blah clothing I am wearing with.

Lastly Esk-imo, their booth last year was so adorable, and this year had me super excited to see their styles. Gaia is a lovely bun style that has great longer tendrils at the front , very sexy secretary inspired. The other Tara style is a sleek straight medium length style that I really liked, both are being worn with a great dress from Epoque because not only does it work with both looks, but they are friends so I thought YAY.

As you may have noticed in past posts, I am really all for the hybrid mesh usage, as in mixing mesh with regular clothing layers to create a mixed effect. That is also true of hybrid mesh hair, and how you can utilise the concept of rigged and non rigged styles by mixing them together. I like the idea of non rigged hair tops and rigged bottoms, that way if you do have to edit around the face you are good.

One store that was a new store for Hair Fair 2012 as in new to hair releases but definitely not new to content creation, are the sisters that make up sYs. Their futuristic styles are wonderful and with this hair release I was so excited to see what they would do. They didn’t disappoint either, the orbital hair is awesome, so damn cute and fun..the Jazy is sleek and sexy and comes with a shaved tattoo layer that is actually so close shaved it is intense. I just love that the styles worked so well with my new Viron items from Rosal, the corset and neck corset are mesh and so detailed and have incredible colouring options.

Amacci, a long time favourite created very lovely styles, this medium and full high pony style is really pretty, and the demure bun style is great for functions and dressier looks. I am wearing the new Toki Doki dress with them and I just love the back of this dress, its like a maxi racer tank, very cool and pretty. The third store featured is Tameless Hair, and one of the styles is definitely that.

The Sojo hair by Tameless is wild and curly and so sexy, I even love the arty pic in the store, so cool. The Victoria hair is superb, I really wanted a Peg Bundy kind of look for it and then thought pffft Peg would be so stylish now, because Al would have been divorced and she would have married someone rich and become high class, so this is my Peg Bundy 2012.

I am almost running out of clothes – just kidding. Ok so last two days of Hair Fair 2012 as I said earlier, so do not miss out on having another run through with friends or on Alts because you definitely don’t want to miss out on helping Wigs for Kids while the stores are donating to this great cause, not to mention all the fabulous gift items that are around the sims.

These first styles are dreadlock and braided styles from Discord Designs, now that they are mesh I just really like the length on the braided one a lot. Both are unisexy which is a great thing, and you definitely need to try them for yourself. I am wearing the sexy new shorts from Cynful in mesh, and the dark ones are in a special event this weekend at 1<3 Fashion. I am so loving mesh shorts this week, and Cynfuls have the usual bum cleavage awesomeness that you need in your sexy short shorts. Also new from cynful are these really cute jeans, also mesh and they have really nice stitching seams and detailing on them.

Next hair is from Epoque, these cutesy bun styles are great for so many looks, from the sexy to the deep and brooding, the intellectually obscure or the aged, it all works, but the bangs on the second Stabilizer style are retro fabulous. The other thing I really like about the Epoque hair is the textures, they are very soft looking and there are a great range of colour packs to choose from, even some mixed dye packs.

Thirdly the Ploom hair with a bit of Deviant Kitties for good measure. Those of you old enough to remember will know that the owner once had a store called Deviant Kitties, it was closed and a new brand Ploom was born. There has been many requests for the return of Dk and so instead of having two stores, DK is a line within the Ploom brand. I do hope there will be some packs that differ, so there is some difference between the brands but there is definitely an edgier look to the DK line which is definitely how that store is remembered.

I am wearing the Mesh Update of the KAS Waist Corset, if you have the original and I know many do, then if you haven’t been by the store in a while pop over put it on and press the update terminal and then update the corset and you will be sent the new mesh ones. I really like this corset a lot and the ability to change to as many colours as it has in the HUD and more is wonderful. Also there is a recent update of the ballet boots, but not mesh ones, hopefully they are on the horizon for thigh hights perhaps.

Second last day of Hair Fair 2012. I felt like showing some summer beachwear and these new items are perfect, especially with the hair shown. The bikini is the latest release from BOOM, and they come in an abundance of colours and prints. The style is sexy and has adorable ties on the hips. I especially love the chevron prints and camo, but showing the brilliant Lime and the doll pink chevron for this post.

The hairstyles from Hair Fair 2012 are by Lollipopz and have pretty flowers that I tinted green on the coconut style in edit linked parts. Both styles come with add on flexi attachments, but only worn with the coconut and not the winter rose, which is a lovely braided band style. Both so pretty and great for beachy looks or even some RP fae looks, or something along those lines.

The gorgeous mesh skirt I am weairng is Elymode’s release for the Zodiac event running at the moment, so be sure to grab those, they are so pretty and especially look great in this carefree summer days way.

I had so much fun with these two looks, different hair but same outfits, and it works. But it was definitely the second look that was my geeky favourite. It has that studious girl thing going on, with that carefree fashion sense, so fun with lime glasses to boot. Two hair stores in one post this time from Hair Fair 2012…I am running out of time to do posts as it is Bandana Day on the 29th and I am looking forward to “Removing my hair to show I care” as we do every last day of Hair Fair since 2007. You can still purchase your Bandanas for only 50L at Hair Fair, and so far they have raised over 100,000 lindens that will be added to the other donations and go to Wigs for Kids. The two stores are Mina Hair and ChiChickie. The Mina hairstyles are soft and fluffy with lots of flexi in the long wavey style. They come HUD controlled for colouring and the low pony is just lovely and loose. They are both really nice go with everything looks. My outfit is sporting some new stockings from BlueSlush, who has been creating up a storm lately, so be sure to check out the new thigh highs and cropped tank tops.

The first pic has the adorable updo that can be casual in this way or a lot dressier dependent on what you wear. The Amanda style is the longer style and I really like the swept bangs of this style. One thing about the ChiChickie booth is that they have styles in Petites sizes available for purchase as well, so if you are a petite avatar looking for hair, this booth is for you. I swear the me on the right is miffed at the me on the left.
