Do you modify things you buy, do you take copies of things and see how far you can push them? Do you know how to give yourself more natural light? – if the build allows. This great apartment by Soy allowed for both.  The walls were a more beaten up old build look, and while that works in some cases, it is not always a want in a good build. So I looked at the texture panel and made sure the item was copy, and then just threw in a texture I had full perms in a lighter cream colour. It still had some rough natural paint on it, so it still fit well. I didn’t have much to lose either, it either worked or it didn’t. As for the light.

Depending on the direction of the sun, and how you rez your build, you will get different sun direction. If you don’t feel like picking everything up, or you can’t, there are ways to bring the sunshine in. If you go to edit the item and if linked select the face option, click on the outside walls, and if possible you make them transparent enough to let the sunlight in. This is why WinxBoxes are mod and separate panels for the outside so that this is possible when using them, and this build by Soy is the same kind of thing. You can’t do it if the inside and outside wall are the same mesh piece with a shared face.

The build although an apartment is a great little size for an office kind of look, so adding this great Coffee Station by Cheeky Pea made that a reality. Individual pieces give you the option to set it up as you wish, the curtains and plants are also a part of the collection. Again using mod options to resize the plants on the windowsill so that they didn’t look too much like copies of the same thing.

Keeping warm with my Hot Chocolate – I do not drink coffee, I just make it – and this wonderful outfit by Kaithleens. The vest is a separate attachment so you can mix and match that with other outfits. Then down to these incredibly classy shoes by Utopia. I love the stitching leatherwork and ability to change colours of leather in the various portions of the shoes, making some great combinations. Make sure to demo so that you can see how much of your wardrobe these will take to a new level.
