Hair Fair 2016 - Analog Dog

This Hair Fair post is a Trio post. Because the three stores involved are not only great stores that have been part of Hair Fair for many years, but are also three of the co-owners of Hair-O-logy that is a monthly Hair Event in Second Life, that is about to hit its first birthday in a few months.

Vanity Hair, Analog Dog and Emo-tions Hair owners Tabata Jewell, Queue Marlow and Mirja Mills are all such wonderful ladies, who I have been honored to know for a long time now. Mirja was a tenant at The Deck for many years and there was never a more amazing tenant EVER! so organised, always on time, and just a joy to have around. Tabata I have also known for many years, but it was indirectly through Flickr that I met her, she was one of my first Pile Ups, if you do not know what that is, it is when someone takes pics and lets you edit them. I was so inexperienced at Pile Ups and editing anything but my own things, that I made her yellow, and she praised me for it…because that is just how lovely she is. Queue I first met as a Mermaid, her not me…I thought she was amazing, that her whole SL was spent as a mermaid that created beautiful hair, and it would explain why it swished and swayed so beautifully. I remember when Analog Dog was launched and we all came running, with the long ponytails that just bounced like we had never really seen do before. Always so fun to talk to, and who has definitely created some memorable styles over the years.

Now the three of them, as I said run an amazing event, and are so caring that they have it set in stone that during Hair Fair the event does not take place, and the month prior they do a Discounted price month, so that the Hair creators involved in Hair-O-logy have the time to focus on their Hair Fair releases…they are awesome!

We at Hair Fair love that they have combined forces to make such a great event, and spreading the hair love in SL is always important, it was and will always be my first love and addiction in Second Life. Anyone younger than 6 does not know the pain that was hair releases back in the olden days. We used to wait two or three months for releases, from only a dozen stores on the whole grid, I would seriously jones for new hair, climbing down sewers (this is true old gravy was once down a sewer) to find new hair to wear, we were deprived, it was painful, and no one ever released Hair before Hair Fair, so those 3 months prior were just spent making hair and it was safely guarded until release…and we all would wait, crying in pain for lack of prims and flexi.

I am seriously starting to feel the pain of those olden days, dives head first into my recent items tab ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh all better.

Stunning updo’s, and a hat hair, seriously these girls know how to party.
