    Move Me

    Move

    H1

    H2

    H3

I don’t dress as “out there” as I used to in the past. I often costumed up, and did posts on more of the unusual items in Second Life. When I did get the chance to look at the recentish – last year is still recentish – Unfold collection from MiaMai that is all sorts of delish, I knew I wanted the chance to show at least some of it as soon as I got the chance. You often have to be in the mood for creations such as these, because forcing a post is never a good thing.

Tonight I was in the mood, and the combination of the all in one skirt, pants boots in mesh with the bandages top from Sn@tch was just too fun not to wear.

I have always wanted to see Monica Outlanders RL art on things, she is incredibly talented, and without actual verification, I am assuming the lovely doodle like drawings on the sides of this set are just that. Mind you, everything she does for Second Life is still RL art, but she has in the past shown drawings that just blew me away, I really would love to see them more often on clothes.

The little wing like details on these leggings, and the back of the heels are adorable. The skirt leggings footparts are all in one mesh, and they come in standard sizings. The waist part of the item is system, so you can have a lot of fun deciding what kind of top you will wear with it, or maybe no top at all. So if you haven’t been to see this collection that debuted last December, then definitely go take a journey through the imagination of Monica Outlander, it is a trip.

I am wearing the Harlow skin from Izzies again, this time showing the beautiful eyeshadows that come on tattoo layers with. There are also lipsticks, but I wanted you to see the shadows, because they really are beautiful.

    Lay me back

    Lillian

The 1920’s was such a beautiful decade – in the movies at least – I don’t know how they were for the people experiencing them. Watching old movies, you had such a feeling of everything being so glamorous, especially for those that had money. It seemed like every single night, was a night spent entertaining or being entertained…dressing up and being escorted to fine establishments the normal way of doing things.

This new hair released by LeLutka had me knowing exactly what dress I was going to wear with it. The Lillian hairstyle has a stunning netted snood covering, that can be turned off or on using the drop down menu once the hair is clicked. It also has 8 different colours in the net, as well as beautiful teardrop pearls at the sides. The belt of the gown goes so well with the net, that I was excited to be able to finally wear it – I had been holding onto the gown from Baiastice for some time.

When I was doing the pics, I realised that even though I wanted to show how beautiful it looks from behind, and without the net…it needed more of a reason to show the back, so the idea of a girl of the 2013’s looking at a pic of a girl in the 1920’s was cool. I hope you agree.

The skin I am wearing is the latest Harlow Skin by Izzies, this is a lovely skin with the base skin and then make up layers on tattoos. There are brow, cleavage and freckle options. There is also currently a Group Gift of the Harlow skin in a redhead version if you join her group, there is a fee to join, but it is well worth the price for a new skin.

I used a second life stock images picture for the background, changing it up a bit in PS. The pic is HERE by Elle Kirshner, so thank you Elle.

    You’re Magan me crazy

    Magan

I am wearing Chloe again , the mesh head by LOGO. The reason being, is that the NEW Sadie head is about to hit the store this weekend, and I wanted to revisit Chloe before that. There are many wonderful NEW features coming, so stay tuned over the next week to see Sadie. I have to say with all this wonderful mesh on, taking pics and getting them prepared for a post is getting a lot faster, seeing as there is no need to really edit anything, more presentation than fixes.

The jacket I am featuring in this post is one of the recent releases by Maitreya. A big release last week. Stunning shoes, clothing and accessories all complimenting each other. Today though just the jacket from that release, as the other items are from Fanatik. The double breasted button down short coat style is wonderful, but my favourite part is definitely the sleeves. Their fullness gives you more wiggle room when it comes to fit, but it is definitely the style of them that really compliments the movement that mesh generally needs in that area.

The jacket comes in suede or wool, and because of the flared bottom and cinched waist style, you can wear it over just about everything that is slim fitting, and even in some cases fuller – I did actually try it over the Tee*fy flared skirt and it fit well. The hair I am wearing is actually also by Tee*fy creator Azure Electricteeth, for her other brand LaViere. The Natalia style is a recent Collabor88 item, and its straight style and gorgeous blunt bangs make it a must have, in my book anyway.

Fanatik has been working very hard to build up their store over the past months. With a brand new build, that you must go and see, as well as just creating wonderful mesh items, either to wear or to live or work in, they have it all and are getting very firmly placed as a go to for it all, kind of brand. The spiked heels come in 21 colours, and have a silver or gold spike texture change option. Incredibly high, and so many small spikes, these shoes definitely are attention grabbing. The other attention grabbers, are the leather leggings. They have a very nice derrière, and great colours available.

Lastly the other spiked item in the mix, is the bag from Glam Affair. This rivetted bag is so perfectly sized and comes in a great range of colours. It also has gold or silver rivet options and hand or arm hold, which makes it very wearable indeed.
