    A shocking disaster happened the other day in New Zealand, last I heard over 65 fatalities and the images were horrific as this happened at noon in Christchurch one of the largest cities in New Zealand. Shelly Toonie has organised an event to help with this disaster, by organising space at Jori Watlers sim, to be involved you need to contact Shelly Toonie, you can set out an item for 100% proceeds and it does not have to be new or exclusive, but we are hoping that many will attend and everything will be new to someone.

    Also Puarangi Jewelers which is owned by Hibiscus Flossberg a New Zealander who is an ex Christchurch resident, is donating ALL money made in her store up until the 31st of March to this cause, so please check her out also.

    A new skin at the fair by Gala of Curio is Pout, and also another skin pack is Yum 2, I am showing pout today though, and it is definitely pouty. What I love about not only the face is the names of the make ups, Pout, Tantrum, Whine and so on, so fun, and so true to their names.

    Clawtooth by Clawtooth has released some delightful blowing in the breeze style hair, and it’s subtle enough to be perfect for overcast days like the background I shot for Second Life Stock Images a few weeks back. I actually used blur on most of it in PS, so the sky stood out more.

    I am wearing a set from Sn@tch and I actually had these pants in RL in two colours and you wont believe me I am sure if I told you one of them was purple, I didn’t always have an issue with that colour. The pants were so popular down here and woven in such a way that they would stretch and lose shape so easily that to get them back you had to wash and twist tight and air dry, and boom back to new again. I loved them, wore them to death, but mine had a much looser leg bottom…anywho as soon as I saw them at Sn@tch I had to have.

    I really like the cropped jumper too, yes we call sweaters jumpers down here, It is the perfect style to show off your divine skins body, or layer over the top of a dress or other top for a completely different look. More showing off of the body with the new Ooh La La lingerie, these sets are set out in the party area at Lula and are just gorgeous, there is also a gift pantie and bra set if you aren’t too late, so run over and look for the dance area and little market stands.

    Trying the beautiful new skin by Glance, this is Emanuela, a darker tone skin that has a very sophisticated look to her. I am not one for changing ethnicity too often, but when a new skin so pretty comes out, you have to share the info with the masses. There are many make ups in the range, this is just a taste, and don’t forget to DEMO DEMO DEMO.

    Bare Rose has come up with the goods again, such a gorgeous release is the Mimo set, the tops and harem pants on the left in various colours are just stunning. The top is going to become a firm favoutire for many, it has a low back with even the extra detailing of a single clasped strap as though a bikini top underneath, it is just perfect and the sculpted base to it is awesome and so easy to fit. If harem pants are not your thing – Mel said if they are Harem pants they should have more than one girl in them lol – , I went to show it with the Anouk pants from Michami, similar in style but less flared out, then also some new Nora highwaist shorts from Addict, not showing the highwaist option yet, but you can see the cute rolled legs look so fun for upcoming warmer weather.

    All of the luxurious locks are from Exile, absolutely stunning styles, in length and waves. The shoes are all adorable soft leather slip ons by Teefy.

    I think jeans lovers of the grid rejoiced when Bela Tolsen hit the grid. I have said it before, and it only gets proved every release, the woman really knows how to do pattern work with pants, and the jeans in this post are all incredible. Even if you are not into the overly patterned, there is so much range in her prints that there is bound to be something that catches your eye. I could seriously stay in the grey stiched pair near the window for yonks.

    Also wonderful to have as a staple, and I do love that these are solids not prints, the off shoulder tops, also from Tutti Frutti. A little raised on one side, perfectly styled for off the shoulders, and also a great piece to do layered looks with. I decided to keep it simple today though, some ElikaTira hairstyles – please Elika may we have some MOOOORRRREEEEE.

    Shying away from the sun, in the new Glam Affair skin Jadis, in the Yuki pale edition. Different brows to choose from, and option of with or without hair base.The hair base is a creamier white than usual, so you will have to be careful when choosing hair attachments, yay for demos. I opted for the full styles though, and with the brow options going to black it was a no brainer really. There is even a no brow option for those that wear tattoo options.

    More of the Jadis to come in other darker tones, so don’t worry you don’t miss out if you don’t go for a paler skin. This one is lovely though, and the make ups are delightful. Not only am I taking the Tee*fy flats for another spin, I am also wearing the yummy and snuggly scarf that is another item at the Albero Dollar Market, these items are made as transfer for gift purchases for Christmas, so don’t miss out.

    The Happy Holidays Hunt is in full swing.It started the other day, and people have been going to and fro to grab all the goodies while they can. The items are priced at 10L each item but the items are incredible value, and usually have a ticket price around the 400L mark I have heard.

    Some of the stores at The Deck even have items in the event, see HERE. I most likely wont be able to get through all of them before the event is over, but I am going to try. The items in todays post are from the hunt. What I have liked about all the items so far, is that you can incorporate them into other looks when you are done with the originals.

    You can see I am also wearing the incredible hair attachments from Amacci, these formal do’s are just magnificent.With the Amacci hair bases being available in so many incredible colours, you will be able to coordinate looks that are right for you. The cute little flats I have on are from Tee*fy at the Albero dollar fair, they come with three options, in a great range of colours, and there are also some adorable scarfs there too.

    Each store that is part of the Hunt should have a poster out the front with the details of where you start, but you can just randomly move to stores you are familiar with first and so on, some incredible releases as mentioned and lots of fun can be had if you hunt with a group of friends, so far the hunt clues provided have all been top notch, so you wont spend hours pulling your hair out :).
