The other day there was some ‘drama’ in SLFacebook, those of you that didn’t know there was such a thing, it is just regular facebook you just follow SL people/stores etc…anyway there was drama, and someone made a comment about bloggers, so I investigated their profile and saw they had a store, and saw an item they had just put out for a sales day, and tp’d over and snatched it up, because it was so cool, so I am really glad that I saw the post and investigated and found myself a treasure. It is fun how stuff like that can happen, you just end up following a rabbit hole so to speak and end up with delights that were not the intended outcome. It was not a bad thing they said, nor where they being the drama, it was just a random comment and I wanted to see who they were, bloggers fate if you will, because I found something that I ended up basing the whole outfit on.

Also as some of you know, I have an issue with purple, I mention it a lot, and I always have to explain or often explain that it is not all purples, it is only one of the many purples, it is the saturated ugly hippie store purple that I am not fond of, but even that has its place. Todays purple usage is a more desaturated deep purple, and it was one of those wild coincidences that everything had that colour available to me, when the rose crown itself only came in that colour in the pack I purchased. I didn’t actually remember the crown at all, it was paired up with something else, and it was the something else that I bought it for – which I am not even using….I am confusing to follow along with.

The crown is on top of the item I mentioned was the root of the look, this cap/visor with goggles, and the visor hat part can be hidden to just have the goggles. I did only purchase them in this one style, but if you go for a pack there are so many options. I just really liked the Punk Ain’t Dead aspect of them. I then went to town on the whole look, adding the crown of roses which fit perfectly on top. Then to the footwear of these awesome stomper shoes by Breathe, that had the bows and the trailing ribbon look that just made me feel all girly and crazy at the same time. They have optional garter like ankle pieces that you can left, right or both and colour accordingly. They also have a v2 with chains and pearls adorning the stomper platform portion of the shoes,I opted out, I wanted a less is more approach.

I grabbed the beautifully boned bodysuit by Rowne that I just had to have in this olive green, and while I was going to at first go with one of Rowne’s torn denim skirts, that the v2 fits perfectly over the suit, I went with the balloon skirt look that also fit over perfectly by tentacio – also the creator of the rose crown. I was super excited to find out that the ribbons that fall down the side and the band around the waist actually have HUD options and they had the right purple to match in.

The loose ribbons trailing down the shoes reminded me of these leg wraps I had from an outfit, and it just looks so good, because the size of them matched well with the ribbons on the skirt. Now I just wanted something for the arms, at first I was going to just grab some regular armwraps and then I found these – by Asteria who also made the leg band –  that are a combination of armwarmers with a choker and epaulettes, and while they slightly clip and only one one side of the shoulder it is so minor that there is no way I am giving up the look because of that, if I cared I could just wear hair that covered it, but honestly in the amount of wiggling we do in Second Life, something will always clip and again this was so minor, and because of the pose used, I have no idea nor do I care about how it would be with just an AO, I have so many that I would work out which works best when out and about. Even the bangs on this hair clip through the hat, but again I do not care, I am loving this look and can make it work differently if I want to. We are definitely not starved for choice in Second Life, besides this hair was making me very happy, and Kuni does fantastic ponytail styles.
