After the third crash I had to come back home, it was fun while it lasted though. Callie Cline just finished her latest build, and an impromptu party occured, a good old fashioned  barn raising I think you would call it. I had to come home though and type this up, lots to do, lots to do.

I was checking out What’s New SL as I do, and realised that Izzie’s had a release, I ran over to get me some of the fab new items, and grabbed probably an oldie or two while I was at it. The frill suit is so win, and comes in many colours, I went with the black and put it on immediately, swanning about and realised I better jump on my VR Posestand or I will end up wearing it and then forgetting to blog it at a later date.

Now while this is just gorgeous I am a bit weepy to the fact that it was done all in one. As in the shirt/undershirt layers are the top white of the shirt as well as the top of the shorts, rather than making the high waist on a jacket layer separate. Even though I do love as is, I really wish it had been done the other way, so that I would be able to mix and match the bottoms with other items, and the top also with other things, even items from Izzie’s own range of wonderful things.

Note to Designers, don’t flatten and merge separate pieces of clothing, it makes the fashionable cry. Maybe I can find some other highwaisted pants that go high enough to wear with the top of the top and frill, so cute.

She left a comment on my blog yesterday, and I went snooping on her blog and fell for many things, but mostly this hair, so Yay, thanky Desiree ♥

Now onto things I keep wearing and forgetting to blog, this was a gift from my favourite Xstreet shopper Mel, lol seriously he is getting so good at finding me treats I just die for. The other week he bought me this stunning new corset set, and to my shock it is made by J’s , the same J’s that gives us our fabulous footwear.

Not only is the texturing divine, but the cups to the corset are actually sculpted, and so well done with scripts and a hud to resize exactly how needed. If J’s goes into clothing it is going to be amazing to see. You get the stockings and garters, corset and panties as well as full length gloves. I have been wearing the corset with pants and it is just beautiful to wear, if you click on the sculpted breast covering you get the option to choose lace or no lace in the cups category.

I decided that if I was going to show it in its full lingerie look, I was going to do so old school style and be a bunny. With ears and whiskers from Cobrahive that I really think are just too adorable.

Izzie’s again for some bargains, the lace tops are a steal and everything from there can be found on Xstreet if you aren’t in the mood to tp. Well worth a visit to the store though. These tops come in lots of colours and in two different options, I am wearing them with the tube skirts from Goth1c0 which are slung to the side and lowrise. Again a bit weepy that the top and skirts don’t give all layers options, but that I guess is just us getting used to that becoming the norm lately.

Taking more time to spin the UnBra skin Mayara around, the skin comes with four cleavage options and such dramatic make ups. There are pics included that let you know the rgb values of the skins so that you can tint shoes or gloves for nails with ease. Make sure you DemoDemoDemo.

**As I say to many when we have this debate though. You should never want someone to put your items aside to wear something else, just because you didn’t provide all layers.

It sucks to have to make them, and it is a lot of work – believe me I have done my fair share of making thousands of layers options over the years -  but in the long run customers appreciate it, and people will wear them more often. There are items that I always go to as back up, knowing that what I want to finish a look will be there on all pieces I may need, and I am sure I am not the only one.

EDIT and IMPORTANT Fabulousness : Since this post went to print (lol) Izzie of Izzie’s has redone the Frill Set to now include the seperate layers and ALL layers, so that you can mix and match to your hearts content, HOW AWESOME IS THAT ! especially since the post only published a few hours ago… Izzie Button you get todays AWESOME DESIGNER Award – which is invisible but still heartfelt.
