Pididdle diddle the cat has your fiddle
Ok so now that I got my rant on earlier, now is the time for some pretty pretties. First off some beautiful new skin from Tuli, the Emma skin is a lovely fresh faced beauty, and now with the new tones and omg lush eyebrows you can play all day with the variet of make up choices. Now the eye shadows come on the base skins themselves and the lipsticks are separate, so with the ability to wear that many lippies with one shadow is awesome. I really like the new tones, but I am so loving the copper eyebrows as shown in the main skins pics.
All the better to show off the new hair from Exile, va va voooooom they get sexier each and every release. The second blonde style Stephy is actually a donation style for the fundraiser that Voshie Paine is running, so be sure to go and grab it to help out the little girl Kajsa and her family.
The other day Mel and I were out and about and he saw some leggings on a girl, and said wow that took some work from the designer, and I told him that I had them, and yes, lots of work to create such a complex design so well. Osakki since they reopened has had not only these leggings but many more, and some fantastic outfits that are very out there fashion wise, in the good look at me way.
In the top pic I am wearing some fun Pididdle items, with the fab patent belt from Maiiki, the yellow in the high waist skirt is just wonderful and the sweater is a cropped length so it is great having both items on all layers, giving the ability to make sure it all works. The Pea Coat trench I am wearing is system skirt love from Eclectic Apparel.
Eclectic has used the template superbly to create this lovely design piece. that can be worn as a dress on its own, or over pants or another skirt due to the use of the system skirt. This is the type of outfit that just screams late night rendesvous with dark and handsome men or women, whatever way you roll.
The boots I am wearing are the most recent release from SLInk, they are a great hiker style boot, and I just love their ruggedness that makes them totally wearable in the opposite more clean and sleek fashion conscious way. Or you can just go hiking, but I like my way better lol. There is an option to wear with or without the sock at the top, which is nice and easy to do with the hud, the leather is soft and comfy, and I am so looking forwards to more in the SLink line I hear rumors of other accessories :P.

Fly nowhere this Christmas
So spoiled for choice in Second Life, whether it be an item for yourself, or a gift for a friend or loved one, we are an incredibly lucky group of Second Life residents. Because we are residents, and such an incredible community, those that want to, can always know what the public overall want, what drives their customers and what comes next.
Handy tools to have at your disposal me thinks. Mon Tissu nailed that with the release of their new lounger range of clothing. It is the holidays, and after all the fancy party frocks and what not, the snuggliest and most comfortable clothing is going to be the go…whether its sitting in front of the telly watching reruns, or watching the little ones as they wear themselves out with their new toys, the clothes you can love in are the most wonderful. It could be your first Christmas with a partner, and the new lingerie pieces from Mon Tissu are gorgeous, in such stunning colours and print…the long pants, not shown are unisex and well it all comes down to the idea of cosying up at home for the next few days.
I mixed the clothing with some pieces from LeLutka, their military range is so fantastic, the hat I have on doesn’t even need hair, and the pants can be worn with or without the puffed out sides, which I think are just awesome for old movie lovers. In all the pics I am wearing Isabeli, a skin by Glance, the body is stunning and the face is rich in wonderful make up options with some very strong features. Glance is great at the range of ethnicity in her skins, and so you should definitely demo Isabeli, it also comes in pale.
Now for the love of BOOTS. I have been waiting for Maitreya boots forever…every few months I will just IM Beau and declare BOOTS! and move on again lol. I finally got mine and everyone elses wish, as it was in fact in my mind boots that put Maitreya on the map in the first place. The shearling boots are incredible, not only the amazing soles, and straps and leather work to yet again die for…but the ability to change textures on the features, gives you so much bang for your buck. it also gives you something RL shoes don’t, that little extra ability to coordinate with our own looks.
So many colours to love, one of my favs would be the army, you can of course just go with the solid colour throughout, but I did some picks of mixing it up. They are on Marketplace for gifting, make someone stoked this Christmas.
All the hair is Exile, and there is an awesome style out for xmas gift if you hit up the subscribomatic in the store, but by now youshould already be in it 😛
P.S I almost forgot it is my Christmas already down here, so I hope you have an awesome time with those you care about, and if you can’t then I hope that you know you are blessed and loved.

Shaken not stirred
Recently released skins by Glam Affair, this is Jadis. You saw the paler version last week , well this week we have a medium tan, as well as other tones, but I am showing in that one, the golden body is just lovely. There are 12 make ups for this skin, as well as a base skin, and they are all superb, luscious lips and dramatic eyes, she has such a summery look to her overall.
The hair I am wearing is a new release from Exile and OMG isn’t it sexy as hell, it has that dried by the sun look I love, and frames the face in a revamped 70’s look. The length is great, it is truly all win. The swimwear I am wearing is from Has Been, if you haven’t been to Has Been then you are missing out on some amazing pieces, especially the latest lingerie release. But the vintage swimwear caught my eye, and I just had to have.
The background I am using from Second Life Stock Images, is another one of Whimsy WInx’s . She got a group gift the other day and we thought it was so beautiful, that it was perfect for some kind of arty look…and she nailed it with this one, I just couldn’t resist it. The store where the chair is from is What’s Next, and the iceberg she has in her pic, is part of an awesome floating escape from her own store W.Winx.

As I went down to the river
I have been having a lot of fun with the stock images I have taken, in these pictures again it might look like they were shot on location, but no, all done in my VR Studio. I was absolutely floored by the picture that Anya OhMai did in a post the other day using one of the backgrounds from the Second Life Stock Images flickr group, she is so talented, that it rocked to have something from the group used by someone so wonderful.
Both backgrounds are from Lula the home of Mon Tissu, that finally opened today, to much aclaim. Everyone I know has gone gaga over the release, and I myself was so impressed by the detailing of the items, you really cannot understand how amazing they are just off the vendors. An item I haven’t shown yet is so well structured it totally had me fooled.
The other day while Whimsy was swanning around in her Mon Tissu goodies, I was intrigued by how ‘real’ the skirt she had on looked…now don’t get all persnickity about photosourcing, because there is a big difference between sourcing and just taking a pic or downloading an actual garment and shoving it on a template. Things are sourced in SL all the time, for instance try handdrawing a knit pattern, can you imagine having to draw some wool make it look like wool, then mold that piece into what would look like one part of a stitch? then to repeat that hundreds of times until you get one row of knit, to then again copy that over and over to be able to get a patch big enough to make a texture for a scarf.
Or good luck getting really beautiful leather shoes/boots if leather in some varieties wasn’t sourced. Anyway, not saying these things cannot be achieved, just saying it isn’t always practical, and if there is true work done to the item, and the sourcing is just a small part of the overall finished product, then you need to learn the difference when throwing around accusations. This is all coming out ranty, but that is not the intention.
What I was getting at in a round about way, is that the skirt had me totally fooled, what ‘looked’ like it might be more sourced than not, wasn’t even on the mesh texture at all, the skirt was done so well at the front with sculpties that I had to zoom and cam and turn and go ‘OMG’. That is what you will never realise from a flat image, that often what can look flat or have a more realistic look than you assume it should, is actually just made so well that it looks real.
Just like I remember when Maitreya Gold first came out, people were actually accusing the pics on flickr as being images from another programe that they couldn’t be second life, Maitreya sure showed them. Anyway, I will show that skirt one day soon, and you will see what I saw, because the Mon Tissu blending of real and handdrawn is wonderful, and I cannot wait for more.
The party dresses in the first pic are so adorable, and I can see wearing the tops or skirts of the dress as seperate pieces for other fun looks. So many bows, even my hair is a bow, loving accented with some divine and delicate pieces of jewelry from Whippet & Buck another incredibly talented duo. Wouldn’t you just love to sit in a room and pick the brains of creators like these two fashion brands, I know I would.
Boot love all over the place, how Elie Spot – otherwise known as Emma Gilmour – was able to top her recent cowboy boots with these ones is just amazing. If we could somehow convince her to spend the next two months only making shoes and boots OMG. The cardigan in its beaded vintage beauty, with the underneath beaded tank, is a true showing of how meant to be Mon Tissu is, and how it’s creators are really in eachothers creative space in such a great way. I took the belt from the Park Avenue top and wriggled it down to the hips, stretched it and voila a great bow belt for the jeans as well. Even the jeans are mod, which is just amazing.
I am wearing Curio hair in the top pic, and Exile new and old in the second pic. The new hair is Hannah and so cute, love the loose braid on the side, again Kavar just makes such stunning and feminine locks.
Make sure when visiting Mon Tissu you take your man with you, he can look around the incredible sim, add pics to the stock images group 😛 and get used to being there, because future releases are going to include ones for men.

Bring on the Mod Squad, seriously that is how I felt as soon as I layed eyes on this beauty.
The latest Belle dress from Elate is just marvelous darlings, and what better way to show off your sexy legs, than with knee high boots, an expanse of skin and this beautiful retro fashion. The fun thing about the dress is it’s ability to look both casual and fun, or sleek and dressy, it will all depend on the accessories, boots/shoes and how you flick your hair.
Speaking of flicks – see how I lead you right there – the new styles from Exile are scrumptious. The Nyx hair is amazing and Lake I really would love to have in a hat hair combo. Kavar as I have said before, really levels up each and every time he releases.
I could see wearing any of the colours of this dress, to christmas parties and the festive activites bound to occur over the coming weeks, the colours and style are perfect for it.

Under the Sea
I issued a Plurk Sunday challenge today, but it doesn’t have to stay confined to plurk. The challenge is that everyone comments on ten blogs, they can be store blogs or fashion blogs, just share a positive thought and spread some joy, as it is always nice to get feedback, and with the many thousands of readers out there, it always amazes me how rare it is to see comments, even if it is just ‘ I love those _____ I am off to shop ‘.
The post today all four looks started with the divine hair from Exile. Kavar Cleanslate is so amazing at offering such a wide range of styles with his hair releases…and these latest ones are just divine, another hat/hair for me to love love love. The first look because of the length and style of the hair under the super cloche hat style, was not so vintage but more modern, which makes for a nice saturday morning brisk weather look,while heading to the local cafe for some breakfast.
The second look is a lot more va va voom, mixing Cynful and Zaara is done twice today, the first with this look has the beertilicious dress with the beautiful distressed shrug. This fluffed out hair is the perfect length to show off how incredible the texture work done by Zaara is. The third hairstyle was very student like, so I went preppy college girl…I know in reality that no college students around here dress like this, but in my mixed reality they do. The skirt was a flf item, but am pretty sure it comes in other colours. The jacket is from the Jane store, which is a new store for creator Janie Marlowe of older Mischief fame…really cute store, and the tank I have on is actually part of a free tank table she has.
The dress on the right is the latest from Zaara, this comes two ways, wrapped with bare skin revealed, or with an underlining colour. For some reason SL ate my underlining version, and while I could have shown the bare, I wanted to experiment with the idea that find the right dress, you can make your own inserts in your own colour choices. Sure enough the Beertilicious from Cynful fit like a dream, and so I wore the light tan colour, which matches the colour of floral print in the crimson dress…YAY.
All of these looks are also showing the latest boots from YS & YS, the creators behind the brand recently took a much needed break and are back and making stuff already. These boots are beautiful, and have a sculpted sock that can be worn with in contrast or not worn at all…there are two tone, and solid versions, in a variety of beautiful colours.
I am also wearing the Amber skin by League, stunning make ups, so many incredible options, cleavage, hair base, freckles. WIth two different packs of make up colours to choose from in wonderful rich tones. Try the demos and I will show more in my next post.

Happy Anniversary Beulah
First off seeing as I am so slack and did not participate in the actual request…I wanted to aknowledge that it is the one year anniversary of Beulah Mills blog One thing at a time. A year is a huge achievement for any and all bloggers, it is that milestone that carries you into the nostalgic transition phase. You will question the way you blog, how you represent your blog, and what it is that you want to say or do with your blog. Beulah has always represented herself as one classy lady, the Manager of Ivalde and a very professional person. I have had dealings with her over the years both work related, blog related and more recently friend related…though we don’t talk that often, she is always so kind, and really lovely to know, and an incredible right arm for her Boss, with whom she is loyal like crazy for. Happy Anniversary Beulah and I hope that you see many more.
A stunning recent release of hair from Exile, these styles made me happy happy joy joy. Especially Crissy which is the updo that has two versions, one with bangs and this one without, I think both styles are fun, but I do adore the without more. Jennifer is the hat hair and we all know I love my hat/hair, this one is super fun, the style of hat is creative, and straw with different colour options is all win. The 3rd style Mella is a very flouncy curls style, not exactly beachwear style, but in this case, I only got into the water as high as you can see on the dress.
How fun is that, I have an old tshirt from a freebie box back in 06′ that is wet look, and I cannot throw it away lol, but the tank dress from deetalez may make that possible to do. You need something to cover up the mini micro kini, so little and leaves nada to the imagination. I am wearing the jolie pied feet from SLink, they recently sent out an update on these, so if you didn’t get yours, maybe check your inventory or ask the creator, these are the mid ones, that are partially on point, not sure if it was all of them.
The skin I am wearing is from Amacci, the skin is a recent release and as usual comes with a huge array of options. Cleavage, hairbases, and a hair bun for wearing the base with, so pretty too. Losing my head
I just got back from the store with Whimsy in a ballgown, the one in the last pic, it felt so 2007…don’t many of you miss those days? I know I do. The buying hair because the 63765654 styles you already have don’t go with your gown. Or you realise that your date is wearing the wrong colour tie for your dress, and rather than have him change to match you, you totally think you would be faster, as you have had your eye on a cute little number only a tp away :p. Then you find the cutest shoes on the way and rethink your whole look, while he stands at some landing point twiddling his thumbs, and playing WoW in the background.
Call for Couture has been a huge event, and it is drawing to a close next week sometime, argh so many things to still post on. First off Fishy Strawberry did this adorable babydoll, in a colour I love, it matches my rusted hair rose perfectly. Newish hair from Exile is so lovely, it got the colour blown right out of it in the further back pic, so just focus on the colour up front , or my cleavage, whatever works for you.
The second set comes from Nemesis, great corset skirt combo, the corset did have trim on one breast, but I opted for without, add a little black coat and this could totally power suit work it. New hair from Magika, OMG have you seen the incredible options in her hair now? not only do you get the style your buying, but the mirrored version as well, as in if the bangs go left you also get the version with them going right, AMAZING idea, and saves on having to release them that way in future releases at future expense…genius I tell you, and such a bargain. Also you have hair pack colours and streaks all in one hud, so you can mix and match to your hearts content. Then there is also colours for hair ties and accessories, and the chewing hair option comes with all now WOOHOO. One click on or off, so it is great fun for pics etc, or when you just have to chew and concentrate.
Lastly the all in one gown from Kouse’s Sanctum, this gown is lovely, and comes with the fabulous hair, I decided to wear not only the fabulous and also at Call for Couture Tiffany mask, as well as some Jewelry from Carolines Jewelry, who happens to be 7 years in SL now – Congratulations. The whole combo was so delightful that I decided to Halloween it up a little, with the help of Fiachra, I lost my head and that’s all folks.

I’m in Chains
I am not sure how many hours until, but it is today. All of the fashion shows rehearsals have been filmed and all sorts of things are happening with Call for Couture, so keep your eyes on the blog for more info. Jewelry fair is in full throttle mode, and I heard that 10.10.10 starts today, which makes sense seeing as it is the tenth of the tenth in the 10th year. My understanding of that event is that you will be shopping a lot, and have the chance to get some great deals. What I do like, is that you will be shopping for other peoples items at other peoples locations, I once mentioned to an organiser of on of the weekly events that that would be a great way to get brand awareness for smaller stores. Anywho, on with the post.
Zaara has told me that this is her first short dress in three years, on thinking about it, I cannot remember ever having seen a short one from her, not this short anyway. It is the one on the left – like I needed to actually say that – the fabric is divine, and the use of chain like texture to add some oomph is just great, a fantastic clubbing dress, and uber sexy. Because of the neckline jewelry was a little more complicated, but I remembered the fun nails I picked up at Jewelry fair from U+R Dogs.
I have many sets of nails, but I don’t think I had any in multicolours, and these are fun and inexpensive, so I couldn’t resist. The new Maitreya Gold shoes FOXY that will be released at Call for Couture are as Onyx put it, the little sister of Shanti, which I myself think is great, I know how much people love Shanti, so to have an even sexier version is all win. Adding a little bit more pink with my hair from Exile, both styles are today, but I wanted a similar pink to the lips so tinted the candy version of this cute as pigtails hair. Kavar the sexy male hair designer has his finger on the pulse when it comes to girly hair…and both these rock it.
Since starting WoW I actually know what Ganked means now, which is funny because when Whimsy screams in my ear about some crazy ‘several cusswords’ horde person ganking her, all I keep thinking is how did she get so lucky lol. Beautiful Cameo style necklace, with an elongated drop, because of which I did not wear the upper prim portion of the Simple Black Dress from Muism, believe me it is shaped beautifully, but because they did finish it off well, I was able to wear without. The dress is actually really cute split up into skirt and shorter top too.
