Slink has updated all their body parts. Updating to include a tinting hud, Omega compatibility as well as new skin tones and no nipples options which make me happy, because sometimes you just peek through a little bit on the side of things, so having that as an option is great.

The tinting hud also works on the tattoo and clothes layers, that is pretty neat, not one for generally tinting clothing as it can lose detail, but sometimes, a tiny addition of colour can help with being properly co-ordinated. Collabor88 has a very bewitching theme this round, and I am wearing this incredible two piece outfit by Spirit. The effect of both pieces is wonderful and I can see definitely mixing them with others in the future.

All that fringe gave me a chance to take my new shoes by N-Core for a whirl, with their strappy highness. I went to the Arcade the other day with Ashia, and was lucky enough to get the rare item I wanted by Nomad, this stunning iron daybed, so beautiful. That and about 5 candelabras, but one can never have enough of those in SL.

They work really well with these great pendant lights by The Loft, also at C88. The Rug and table are also part of The Loft’s release at the event. I really dig these great branches in the rusted old milk can by Cheeky Pea at The Fantasy Collective. I need more branches to just throw around the place, always fun

I noticed when going to add my picture today, I have been doing a lot of red/black looks lately. It really is a favourited combination, not just of me, but a lot of the grid, as they are often the best selling colours of many brands. I remember back in the early days of my SL, that you had to release, red, black , leather and lace, and then you got all the customers, because events at clubs were often themed around those colours and textural styles.

I am wearing the Ison Structural corset that now comes in fits for the Slink body and Maitreya body as well as standard sizing, much joy. It is part of this round of MIX and definitely worth running over to Ison to get…mind you when is it ever not the time to run over to Ison to get something.

I paired it up with the sheer knotted tee from Sn@tch that I grabbed the other day, this is an appliers tee, and the great thing about sheer plain items with appliers is that if you use the alpha mask options on the Slink body hud, you can make them non sheer, for different looks. That is why I bought them, because I can use them as solid shirts. In this case though, as my breasts were covered by the corset, I embraced the sheer.

These pants are also by Ison, and while they fit under the corset in this pose, you will get a bit of clipping with a more moving ao. Mind you we do so much standing around in SL that I am fine with that, as the pants were made a lot earlier than the corset was, and they are standard sizing…so depending on the size you wear, you could probably go a size down and not have that at all, me though I wear xxs perfectly, so no where to go from that :).

I pulled out an old favourite pair of shoes. These are the margot ballet flats from Slink. One of the first mesh flat shoes she made I think. They also come with an off and on option for the ballet slipper wrap around straps, so that you can wear them like this as a casual but elegant slip on. They are so pretty, and look wonderful with pants, and the colours of them are so pretty, especially in the lighter colours.

The fantasy collective items are from Cheeky Pea, and these are some beautiful pieces. The large mirror, that has that marvelous aged look to the glass, the lovely hanging lamps with candles ( I edited them larger) and the sumptious chair in the wicker that you just want to snuggle in with a good book. At the moment it is holding my bag from Rowne, that I think is so cute with its hanging open look. I might see if one of my puppies from the latest arcade will fit in that.

While I am about to “Spring Forward” the rest of you are about to “Fall Back”. I love Autumn, it is my favourite season, I was probably born in the wrong countryto really enjoy the beauty of it, I see such beautiful pictures of the U.S in that time of year, and it is marvelous. Lucky for me I have Second Life, and while it is warming up down here, I will get to enjoy all the upcoming Autumn fashions and my main love is BOOTS.

Every year I harass Onyx about boots, where are my boots, it is time for boots, BRING ON THE BOOTS! so rather than harass her this year, I decided to slip into some favourites, the Jazz boots, and warm my toes in preparation, sort of a gentle nudge into boot making mode ‘hint, hint’.

It is the perfect weather for layering, and having the pieces that mean if it gets too warm you are covered, or a slight chill, you are definitely sorted. This combination of an outfit I pieced together works in that regard. The stunner of a tight fitting tank dress by Blueberry, teamed up with some really high thigh high knitted socks from Izzie’s…not full leggings, so that you do not overheat. Then a lovely oversized cardigan from Lavian, that brings it all together.

The hair is a great off the face style by Mina hair allowing for attention to be brought to the COMING SOON skin by Glam Affair, it has been a treat of new appliers by Glam Affair this week, and this one is such a youthful and soft look, the lipsticks are charming, I love this aubergine colour, more of a matte finish, very nice.

The necklace is actually rigged mesh by Emo-tions, and there are different sizes and combos included, it is really lovely and I do enjoy when Mirja makes accessories. Standing on the verandah of a lovely garden cottage by Trompe Loeil that just makes you want to spend the days and nights snuggly and drinking cocoa if it is cold and lemonade when it is warmer..or probably iced tea, depending on where you are.

Tell Whimsy you want to do a feature post on a particular designers collection, and she is off and running. It takes her less time to put together an incredible location shoot space, than it does to get dressed. We could not wait to put on the new items by Lavian & Co. that are part of their FAD September Collection.

The beautiful softness of the textures really resonate for the countryside, but of course not any old countryside..this is Whimsy we are talking about here. It had to be a glamorous and very expensive estate, and that is fine with me, I can silver spoon it when I want to, plus I am Australian, so I am closer to Royalty :P.

I got to work in the bow heeled shoes from Breathe with the great bow detailing on the clothing, and the tailcoat style of the jacket is just wonderful.

The pieces on display are a wonderful mix of gatcha and event items we have both collected over time, our inventories are insane. The dogs are a beautiful addition to the mood, and I was very excited to find that they are mod, so they resize down very well. We always have fun shooting pics together, spending the time in voice in Skype, we either talk and laugh the whole time, or we just don’t speak at all and just zone in companionable silence, it is the best way to be sometimes, together but silent, but sharing the silence.

I am wearing another COMING SOON Skin applier set by Glam Affair. Wearing with the Karin head now, it really changed my look from Stella to Karin, and it had beautifully suited make ups for the look. Definitely need to try on all the upcoming options of skin appliers in the Glam Affair offerings.

I urge you when at all possible, get friends together, especially if you are bloggers and do some posts together, send each others readers to eachothers blogs, and not only that, share the experience from different points of view. Whether by taste and style commentary or just how you angle your camera.

I am working my lights that come with the VR Studio again today. The venetian blinds look really adds to the overall mood of my picture, and helped me really feel the whole look. I had bought this hair at Vintage Cool Fair last week, one of those purchases you make knowing that one day you are going to need that exact type of hair. The time came around much quicker than I expected, with the purchase of the amazing kimono top from Katat0nik at Festival of Sin – I noticed today that event is not listed in search anywhere that I could find, so you can use the slurls listed below to find it.

The Spoopy Nurse kimono top is just lovely, and I am really hoping that it eventually gets released in solid colours without print, as I could see mixing and matching this with so many looks. It is one size mesh for the Slink body and the Maitreya Body, as the style of it allows that leeway, very tricky.

I adorned my hair, neck and wrist with some divine pieces from Mandala. I had oggled them in the past, but had not grabbbed them as yet, so today was the day. Such beautiful floral pieces, and the hair corsages are all separate attachments, you get a few different locations set, but they are mod so you can move them around, but using add meant that I created this really lovely look.

The skin I am wearing is COMING SOON! It is appliers for LeLutka heads, and named Mavi, so you know it is just beautiful. It comes with such stunning make up options, that are mix and match as they are make up layers. All by Glam Affair and named after a very special lady to all of us, the great Mavi Beck ♥

I saw this dress by Valentina.E and fell head over heels, luckily at the time I was not navigating this staircase, because that would have hurt. Years ago in RL a friend of mine started making skirts like this, collecting vintage pieces of lingerie corsets and suspenders and then connecting them to fuller skirts and mixing prints etc. She was ahead of her time for sure, but I still see the look come around every so often and delight in it. This is the functional beauty of mesh now, that you can create masterpieces like this one, and have it move, and work exactly as needed. That you can create each strap, each buckle, all the pieces and transform them into something that you will ache to wear, and have a place to shine. On top of all that, that it will fit, because now Valentina.E makes sizes for mesh bodies, as well as standard sizing, so there is much joy at Casa del Sasy (and Whimsy).

The hair is by Vanity Hair, and I wore it all around Vintage Cool Fair, loving myself in it. Honestly that event had me change outfits about 87 times. So much to buy, so much to love. The shoes I am wearing by Essenz are also at the event, and they are strappy and beautiful and with the hud options you are covered for wonderful colours and details.

Today La Petite Morte released her LeLutka head appliers. I ran over because they looked wonderful, and there is even a special going on for this weekend only I think, that you can get tone 5 for only 75L so do not miss that. I am wearing tone 6 with the Slink Appliers for the body, hands and feet, and everything just looks great. The body appliers came in all tones, so I grabbed tone 5 on special as well, because you just sometimes want to go a little lighter, depending on the outfit, or the time of year.

Needing a little more reasons to show off the skin, and the footwear, I went looking for a nice strapless lingerie, and looked no further than the DE Designs set. DE Designs has been creating some marvelous mesh and applier items that work with the Slink and other bodies, so that makes me very happy, as I have always loved their work.

While taking my pics I of course was using the VR Studio, but this time adding the twist of the great lighting pack you can now get that works with the system, this time choosing the great Dotty look, so that it tied together the wonderful print on the dress.

I have not logged in for a few days, so there was a lot to pay attention to today. I was standing there and typed Uber in my navigation bar at the top of my screen and bam, I was in…so that seemed fated to happen, no effort needed, got to love that. Whimsy got in straight away too, so we had a good time running around shopping all the fitness and workout goodies at this round.

Mixing the bits of furniture and props available at this round, with pieces we made, as well as others we had laying around – yes Whimsy decided Mel needed some weights one day and bought him a gym, which of course benefits us props wise lol, she is not silly.

So many gorgeous outfits at the event, especially by the great set of designers that all share the same sim, the Blueberry, Bueno, Just Because, Vinyl and Addams clan. Love that they do all the bodies and so well too. I also love that they do extra options if you fatpack, not that I need any encouragement to do so with their stores, but lately it has been some great add on prints on the Blueberry items, so that is all win.

This fun hair is a new Little Bones style, and so happy that they do sizes now, as hairs were not fitting me, but now do again, so yay. Also this style comes with three bangs options, so essentially three styles for the price of one, bargain.

These shoes are from the past Uber, and as soon as I saw them I almost broke myself trying to get over there. I actually saw a pair similar to these in an op shop years ago, but in like size 5, I am sad now I didn’t just buy them to own them – yes I am that odd – but they were so cute, and I have been waiting for someone to make a great rigged mesh pair, in the past the ones I have seen have been static, so that was not as fun.

I turned on the sheen options on the Slink body for my pics, to give me that nice ” I work out” look, are you believing it ? Whimsy is of course the other person in my pics, she is looking fabulous and keeping me working out, if you want the information on her outfit, you have to go visit her on her blog at Virtually Dressed.

I went shopping the other day, and I had to tp in Whimsy just to help me make sure I did not miss anything. This of course resulted in her also shopping and we just took over the whole store. A beautiful store it is too, not just the clothing items which are marvelous, but the build itself is just so in keeping with the style and fabulousness that is Mimikri.

We love Mimikri, and I wanted to show you some of the beautiful pieces that I picked up, there are more, but honestly you need to go shop yourself…have to leave you some excitement. My most exciting thing is that she has started creating for Slink and Maitreya bodies, so the fit is wonderful…I found with the Slink body, you can fit a lot of her older standard sizing options really well.

I even picked up some footwear while there, the amazing snakeskin ankleboots, I need more of these they are just delish. Mixing and matching tops and bottoms, adding a bit of Emery to the mix, it was a really fun day of clothing choices. I also got to wear some great footwear from Essenz and Breathe, great styles and beautiful colours.

I used the recent skybox build by Cheeky Pea as my location for the day, adding bits and pieces I have picked up over the years, some recent, some older. One of my favourite things is the triangle mirror from the recent East Side set, combining them to make the pattern that I did for the walls, and then linking them together, it actualy made it all come in at only 3 land impact per side…then enlarging one for the corner landing of the staircase…fun.

I am rocking out a NEW Gacha skin by Glam Affair that is at this round of Kustom9. I am wearing the Jamaica tone which happens to be the rares, and really beautiful options both of them.

I am channeling my inner Gogo today, this outfit is so her in my mind, except the hair, as she would be blonde in most cases. This adorable sailor girl dress is from C88 and by U.F.O which is a lovely store, and you get such a cute little UFO to unpack – it always reminds me of the Happy Meals at McDonalds in the 70’s and 80’s when  your meal would come inside them and you could use them as frisbee’s afterwards. They did not have them here in the 80’s but in Paris in 85 I got one then, and may or may not have frisbee’d it off the Eiffel Tower ( is it littering if you do that with a frisbee? )

I am wearing it with these delightful shoes by Breathe, they come with or without the socks option, and there is also a hud that lets you change the bows and the socks, and the base of the sole. Great fun the shoes from Breathe and ever so sexy too. I am using the furniture from a set by Cheeky Pea that is at this round of Uber. I really love that the items are mod, as I took one of the rugs from the set, and made it my wall background, which made a great monotone feature wall, then with the bits and pieces of the set, I am ready for a night in listening to some old vinyl and reading a great book.

I actually finished two great books this past week, one of which I read in a day. Shakespeares Secret I loved, and the Lilac Bus, I also enjoyed and read in the day, as it is only a small novel.

Stop the presses because you will need to drop everything and run over to On9 event. If you have not seen the latest dress from Valentina.E you need to get right on that, because it is so hot, so sexy and the latex lovers of Second Life just let out a collective Sigh…the male ones their sigh will have sounded a little different.

Now that you have all fanned yourselves off, we will move on. I tried on a few different hairstyles with this dress, but Stella by Elikatira has that vava voom that was definitely needed. You want nothing to hinder the view of all that is encased in this divine dress. The hair has that look of both innocence and daring. It reminds me of when Jennifer Garner wore those sexy wigs in Alias and usually a dress very much like this to distract and entice.

The necklace I picked up from On9 also, was the perfect fit and look to highlight the attraction of the neckline of this dress, but without taking away too much attention, the gemwork is beautiful and the colour combinations really accentuated my whole look.

The shoes are an EXCLUSIVE for Gacha Garden by Essenz, perfect colouring for the dress and the perfect strappy and zippered design that is in keeping with the whole look, I mean buckles, Zips, Leather and Latex, what is not to love.

Using two of the C88 furniture people releases as my backdrop, the wonderful lights from Floorplan come in single strands with different sizes, so you can make up your own little designs. The big win is the sofa, which ended up being modify, so I went from the beige that was a bit too pale with wearing all this nude colouring, to this vibrant gold colour instead and held onto its leather brilliance while doing so, so if you maybe went um about the colours available, in the correct lighting this sofa tints like a dream.
