Running across the sandy spaces, to another row of the Noirette sim, this time featuring No.Match, Kokolores, BonBon and Decoy. Now between No.Match and Kokolores is The Barbershop and their booth does not let down their brand at all, it is wonderful in there and the hair for Men is great, I especially love the included sunglasses on top of head option that one of them has, so you definitely need to check that out and I wonder if we can convince him to make a girly version :).

Many more styles than shown but these are ones that I personally grabbed, I want to point out that some have styling huds, some don’t and there are gifts in some of these stores also. I also want to point out that the gown in the decoy picture is standard sizing and I am using the Slink Petites augment attachment to fit my chest in there 🙂 how cool is that, opens up so many opportunities that alpha does not do.

The sims are less packed now through the day, so you can shop with ease, return if you have been already and there are so many beautifully decorated booths that it is really just kind of nice to stroll around and look. I again had a great time with the Axis Face HUD by LeLutka giving myself different looks for the styling of the pictures.

Hair Fair is in full swing and with every purchase made a portion goes to Wigs for Kids, so it is definitely the time to not only stock up on great hair for yourself but also to makeover some alts or create alts, whatever you like, spruce up those store models and so on.

I shopped hardcore and was aiming to do a sim at a time but ended up 8 pictures in and thought, I think I might just separate by row if there is enough to show. So starting with the far right side of the Noirette sim of styles that I got, and sometimes more than two but was loving my couples shots of two girls same outfit, that is what friends do right. I was also having way too much fun with my Axis Face HUD by LeLutka, this thing is amazing, with each individual bone on the face being controllable, you can save options you like and just give so much detail to a face now for photography, it works with all bento enabled heads, looks may vary, but it is a must have for anyone that enjoys photo taking in SL.

So many of the hairstyles at the event have style huds, some fitted hair some unrigged, some short styles that can be unisexy some long styles the same. With style huds that put the hair behind the shoulders, do not give that a miss if you like long hair and are male you never know. There are so many male styles this year too, and there are ♂ icons above the booths that contain them, they are not only male booths some are a mix of both genders.

I hope you all take a spin around the four sims, visit the bandana booths, grab this years Hair Fair Hares, they are adorable. Everything supports Wigs for Kids, and if hair is not your thing then you can also drop some lindens in the donation kiosks around the sim.

Hair Fair Bandana Kits 2018 NOW AVAILABLE

We are products of our parents, literally and in my case, I am definitely what my Mummy made me. When it comes to clothing, fashion and style, my Mum taught me early on that classic pieces were so much more important than trends. That spending copious amounts of money on junk jewellery was not as good as buying some really quality pieces – this one did not stick, I was obsessed with chunky and large and dangly and once made earrings from some stolen chandelier pieces that I may or may not have acquired from the lobby of a fancy apartment block. In my defence, the thing was hanging much lower than it should for me to be able to comfortably reach the dangles.

My favourite of them all ‘When you start buying your own shoes, you can wear what you want’ ok that last one was in reference to me not wanting to wear sensible sandals as a kid, because other kids had silly shoes, and I wanted silly shoes too, so when I got old enough, I became a shoe addict. That and having big feet, which means if you find shoes that fit you buy them, sometimes more than once.

This dress by Ison is classic elegance to a tee. The plunge, the split, the fabric choice, and the billowy sleeves with the cinched waist detailing. I loved it on sight, and the colours are perfect, there are even some amazing floral prints to choose from, and if you fatpack there are even some bonus prints. If this came in animal print it would just need the addition of a tiny yappy dog and a turban, and all my hosting soiree fantasies would come to life.

The backdrop is actually much smaller when purchased, it is by soy, and makes a lovely background piece but is meant more as decor for an outdoor or indoor setting, but with it being mod, and I do so love to make things bigger or smaller, this sized up so well.

I picked up this amazing choker the other day, and also purchased the matching cuff bracelets, but left them off, the choker has a great range of colours, and two pearl options white and black. I am tentacle wary usually in SL, because of something I sat on in 2006 – true story – but this just looked too good to pass up, and it did not let me down, it is simply divine. Which would also describe this hair by Stealthic. I am prone to blacks or blondes usually in packs if a variety/naturals pack is not available – I do wish all hair-stores would do them – but with this style I got their brown pack and I am so glad I did, because it added so much richness to the style, that I do think I will have to go back and the styles I got in blonde will have to be bought in brown also. The hairs also include a tint hud and honestly, tinting hair can often not work out so well, it will look tinted, but in the browns with just a little something, it can really add a dimension to the style that I adore.

Lastly and so worth the wait is this new skin by Pink Fuel for LeLutka heads, the Kiera skin is so beautiful, I am wearing it on May, and just love the options included, not only the brows and no brows, but the eyeshadow and lipsticks are so fantastic. The lip options are plentiful, not only lipstick in gloss and matte but balms and dolly versions, so you are covered for any occasion. Pink Fuel is doing a special promo price on this skin too until August 20th so make sure you try it asap.

I saw an ad on Facebook (mine) this morning, and it was so realistic, the layout the style of pieces that I thought it was an RL ad that had slipped through my filters. I then realised it was a legit Second Life item, at this round of 50L Friday by Cae, a delicate set that I am wearing the necklace of in this picture. Whether you make it before the flf ends or not, it is worth visiting the store, especially if looking for a truly special piece for yourself or someone dear to you.

As a lover of silver, I left the jewellery as it was out of the box, silver and diamond, but you get the option of metals and gemstones and this would be a lovely birthstone type of set as many a represented.

The silver allowed me to also go with the silver buckle option on these killer heels by Breathe that are at this round of Fameshed. You have the option to change the upper leather or base, then metals and soles, if you go with the fatpack that is, you also get additional leather colours.

I have been desperate to wear this hair since I saw its release, and it is so adorable. It is by Exile and the options with the style HUD really made my picture taking fun, the two tails down at front in the sitting pose and one forward the rest of the hair pulled back behind the shoulders for the standing. Gives us way more realism for picture taking, also gives us so much more love to keep one style on for at least a few more days or longer, when we can click the style hud.

Boyfriend jeans are always fun, and these latest by Vinyl are that and more, with many colours of denim to choose from as well as damaged options with sweet fabric patches sewn inside the rips, very cute. They are called Sheeran after her music crush Ed, it is really cute that he may never know about this, but if enough of us blog them and put his name out there “Ed Sheeran you have a big fan at Vinyl store” maybe someone on his team will see it and tell him and then he will come to Second Life and do a concert and she will be on stage and – ok I got a little carried away. They are at Uber and this older sweater by Tres Blah fits over them perfectly and is just delightful.

Mesh Body Addicts Fair is on at the moment, and I released two items at the event, some Diva Lashes and Sheer Shadow for LeLutka heads, which I am wearing in the picture.

Epiphany is a very popular Gatcha event that runs every few months and pretty much tilts the grid. This round Blueberry has created the most divine collection of wedding inspired pieces, from lace lingerie, and short dresses for the wedding party or even as leaving for the honeymoon option, then there are the gowns themselves, with such amazing floral detailing that you will be enchanted. So many options and so many lovely colours from traditional white to black and a rich red as well as others in between.

I went a little away from the norm because I feel there is so much going on in the day, that the bride-to-be needs to just bring herself a little bit of calm and what better way to do so than to chew on some Gum Gum Boom by LeLutka. I made sure to use the styling hud on this beautiful hair by Lamb to bring the hair away from the face, no mishaps there – mind you a little eucalyptus oil can take care of gum in the hair.

The Forever Berry collection is collectible whether for planned nuptials or just a photographic inspiration such as this and while it is a gacha, the cost only leaves you more for the honeymoon.

Months of catching Mel and Thora just as they log off, it was like the sheepdog and the coyotes clocking in and out in a cartoon. So worth it though as I am now able to chew in public and make a mess of myself, these are SLife Goals! What am I talking about, well the LeLutka Oral Fixation release is only days away, and the first two items are the Delights Cream and the Gum Gum Boom.

These are interactive treats that work with your LeLutka Bento heads and are so much messy fun. The Delights Cream has a huge assortment of flavour choices, I changed my mind four different times during my pictures then asked Mel to change his gum flavour so we could be matchy.

Once you get all your flavours and toppings sorted you then have to make the executive decision to be a clean eater or a messy eater. You wear the napkin that is included if you go with messy and once you choose messy you select which face layer on your LeLutka head that you want to mess.  Then the fun begins, as you click on to enjoy the Delights Cream is randomly brought to your mouth, you like, you devour and then also randomly you may end up with either a small bit of Delights Cream on your upper lip or look out full on messification.

The animations will lick off the mess or the handy napkin will wipe you clean and take all the mess to its soft folds. You can have a break by selecting hold, or stop altogether, then if you want to take some still shots, you can use the lick or lick more buttons on the HUD.

Then with the Gum Gum Boom that Mel is wearing, you have all different flavours of that also, then you can adjust as needed – remember to wear the gum size that is the same as the teeth size you wear with your head – and you can chew only, stretch which I love love, and blow which is all three with bubbles. Stretch is my favourite because its just pushing your tongue through the gum which a lot of people do with chewing and bubble gums.  The variables are random and entertaining, I love the animations when the gum pops and how it maneuvers back into your mouth with the chews having the gum also move around in there, it is great to have that much realism.
