Yesterday for you, still today for me, I saw a notice from Unfad, Torie Senne had released NEW skins called Tara. Now whats amazing about this is that for Torie this is her Second release of wonderful skins in over a week…and more incredible is that she is less than a month old.

We have been blessed with Torie coming to us from IMVU, that other chatty place that allows content creators to make all sorts of things for its residents. I spoke to Torie last week about the transition to Phils place from IMVU and asked her if it was a hard move, her response was no, that she couldn’t imagine anyone going the other way, as in from Phils to there, as Phils Place is so real- ok I am paraphrasing but the convo did go something like that lol.

Torie has been creating for a few years and her talent shows in the latest, and last skin releases she has blessed us with.

Tara is the name of the latest skins she released yesterday, and how it came about was working on her first Mischa and ending up with a completely new skin, lol love when designers do that- its like me endeavoring to clean my inventory and ending up taking pics of beautiful clothing and skins instead I swear its the same *giggles*.

The skins have 3 beautiful make ups and 4 gorgeous tones , the detailing on the body of the skins is YUM, but you know the drill DEMO DEMO DEMO, because you will have to see it for and on yourself to be even more impressed.

The skins also include eyebrows in Black, Brown and Blonde, face lights free in the demos and eyes in ocean and brown. I have on the Tan Tara tone and the colour is just yummy, make sure you check out all the tones because it was a hard choice between tan and the pale.

The lips are pouty and glossy and the eye make up is just perfectly themed to match your occasion.

My occasion last night ended up being the opening of LoLo’s new store but not before I was able to take fabulous pics of one of my favourite Party Dresses POSH by CKS Designs. If you don’t already have Posh your a bit whacko in my opinion. This dress is THE Party Frock.

Everything about it screams take me home and ravish me. Its stunning colours and its divine swishy fabric is just vintage negligee turned into night outerwear, with the perfect accent of a big poofy bow at the back its just delectable.

Teeming it with the fab new sandals from Dela which are the Namid 2 Sandals, a larger gemtone with the same wonderful texture change on push feature as the Namid 1’s , these are just lovely and look so elegant with the Posh Dress.
I am wearing Tara skins with the pics and the incredible Group Gift hair from Minnu in advance of the incredible new sim opening later today , woot cant wait , it is for group only, and group join is locked at the moment but after the event you will be able to join up and grab the incredible Venessa hair from archives, and stay forever as Minnu does so love to spoil her group.

The next pics are the Mischa skins also by Unfad, they are her first skins if you can believe that, as the quality is wonderful and the tones are lush.

The make up again is dynamic and look at those lips, again DEMO DEMO DEMO. I love the detailing around the eyes and one thing I have noticed in these and the Tara are the incredible lashes, I am not wearing any prim lashes they are wonderful.

The hair in the skin pics is from Truth Designs, the lovely Lindsey hair is a fab loose pull through low pony, again in the incredible textures from the Browns 2 pack.

What do you do when you get some incredible pretty leather sandals, you pair them up with some lovely day dresses and drool all over the place.

Ok maybe only I do that, but still. These amazing Venus sandals are from The HUB, previously Hubby’s Boutique – ok doesn anyone else say ” on Buffy” after Previously in their head, or is that just me too?.

There are so many features to love in the Venus Sandals – and you can click on pic to get a bigger shot. The first thing you notice is the incredible funky heels, done with the wedge platform style incorporated into an every day sandal heel, very different and definitely stylish . The sturdynes of this is a great concept too, as with sandals like this you can spend hours out shopping or socialising and your feet wont ache forever after.

The next stand out feature is the incredible leather work on the upper part of the shoes, stunning draped leather across the toe cleavage, then threaded leather wrapped around a ring moves up the foot across more leather until it warps delightfully around the ankle, and that is no mean feat at Phils Place….wrap around shoes are HARD to achieve and JH Gervasi and Jessie Gervasi have done an incredible job of it.

I really hope they bring out more colours in these shoes, but for now the colours they have done are superb to mix with many items, the two options of Noir, one matt leather and one patent are stunners and the chocolate and sand are so versatile if you love earth tones like I do, then of course the cherry mmmmm cherry’s, they will go with so many floral prints that are coming out already in time for the hot weather.

Now the perfect dress I had to show for these, are the delightful Lace trimmed Halter-neck dresses by Popfuzz Bamboo, as usual a plethora of bright beautiful colours, with pretty black lace trim on the neckline and hemline of these dresses, but wait, it of course always gets better with Popfuzz Designs.

The halter dresses come in two skirt options , short and long, and the long is really a mid length that is just beautiful, with the divine trim at the hem it really is a lovely dress, also it has short and long glitch pants with their own lace trim, and the short under the long gives you a glimpse of tanned leg, and the long under the short is just cute as all get out.

I adore the halter necktie tops of these dresses too , for the ability to wear them with pants or other skirts , wonderful colours -more than shown- and all layers too which just makes it such a versatile set, but again even better, the tops and the short bottoms become a DIVINE vintage look full piece swimsuit , and with those Venus Sandals and the Lovely Lorie Hair from Diversity Hair, with hat attached , you can lounge by the pool or stroll along the beach totaly stylish and safe from the harmful sun.

The other hair shown is the Jaya hair also from Diversity hair a lovely tight sticky uppy bun, and the Pale Skin Midnight , is also from PopFuzz Designs and a collaboration with heart cupcake (print heart as the symbol doesnt work for me in blogger).

So there is this thing right, a contest of sorts lol, well its actually a lot more detailed than that :P, The wonderful Whimsy Winx and the Cafe Society Group, came up with a devious plan.

Its them so it has to be devious. Its actually a wonderful idea, of a design Challenge.

**Create an item of wearable clothing (no Skin, Shape, Avatar, or Hair) using “flamingo” as your guide to theme. You may make companion pieces like skin, shape, avatar, and hair, but these are not to be considered part of the design entry. Examples of acceptable items are: Skirts, Shirts, Jackets, Dresses, Aprons, T’s, Tanks, Sweaters (get the hint?), and accessories like purses, shoes, jewelry. See quite Simple, if you right click and wear, and its NOT Shape, Skins, alternative Avatar, and hair, then you are on the right track.

Set the item in your store for sale on April 25th.

Fun right?, exactly. Well I have been seeing some fab and fun items, that Whimsy has blogged about over at her blog HERE… and nothing prepared me for this.

Rose Farina of Rose Petal Creations has taken on the challenge and NAILED IT! The Black Flamingo Flamenco Gown is just STUNNING!.

You don’t even have to be a pink or flamingo fan to enjoy this beautiful gown- but it helps lol.
Firstly the use of the soft satin in pink is just delighful, the prim work moves fabulously as you glide across the room, prepared to dance the night away.

If the swish of satin isn’t your thing the gown turns into a body hugging slip gown that is hell sexy. But get a load of those gloves, the tuxedo bow tie finish to the tops is genius, I LOVE THEM , I want them in every colour there is in the world, the bows too, I want to be able to do ten bazillion options lol. What is equally charming and how it ties into the challenge is the delicate – you can see it if you click on the pic – flamingo brooch just perched nicely on the top of the bodice…. again not so overpowering that you cant love the gown with or without.

This Gown is inspired and I am hoping that Rose takes it further and creates more contrast options using the wonderful colours available – makes a list hee hee. Make sure that you head over to RPC and grab this incredible Gown ASAP, you wouldnt want to miss out on such a beautiful creation.

The shoes are the Thaelle by Dela in black with and without the ankle bows, the hair is Sofia by ETD a stunning Uppy Do.

I’m only one person, but I now have 72 NEW Lounge suites. Ok seriously, 72 is only the minimum amount of combinations that the NEW PFE Infuse series has.

Thaumata Strangelove of Plenty for Everyone, has really kept true to her store name with this incredible series.

All pieces shown have drop downs on click that allow for either 6 choices of wood, and the sitting pieces have another drop down for 12 choices of fabric, its amazing.

The textures for the fabric are vintage Yummy, as previously shown in her bedroom sets, she has a real knack for collecting retro inspired fabrics, and enhancing them for furniture to have that real weathered/worn look, and its wonderful in these pieces.

The seats all have great poses as you can see in the pics, and what I loved about the sofa, is that for once trying to sit on each individual cushion without anyone else there, actually did let me sit on the cushion of my choice – for some odd reason, usually when I try and do that on others I always end up where the sofa says I have to.

I really love the comfortable used look about this set, its so cozy and the wood, has a real seaside thing going on , with its stripped back finish , and hello PINK WOOD – that could be dirty in some households – but here its just FANTASTIC , actually for me its love for all 6 of the fab wood finishes.

As I have said before, and with the bedroom sets it was lovely, but for living room its fabulastic , they are all COPY , yes you can put pieces all over the house, want four sofas DONE , want an armchair or two in the den DONE , need an ottoman by the fireplace DONE DONE , and all of them can look different , 72 is the minimum, you could do all sorts of crazy with these.

Even better, there is the extra cushions , square and round for the sofa , that also drop down texture change for contrast…you have to go and see this set , its just divine in its YUMMY!. Oh and before I forget, the cushions are sculpty, so the prim count isnt as high as with prim furniture.

=DeLa*= has NEW incredible Sandals for the upcoming hot weather, were you are all going to flounce around in stunning light fabrics and I am going to be freezing my buns off.

Which was torture in all the yummy winter goodies just passed while I was Glistening down here, that is so appropriate a TV show quote too lol.

The NEW sandals by the talented Kuranosuke Kamachi are a delight in bright colours and slim straps, and more of those gorgeous ankle ribbons we love.
The sandals on the left are the Namid Sandals, with divine scripted grapes in gem like textures that colour change on touch. they start out as Black Diamond but you have Ruby, Sapphire, Platinum, Emerald and Amber to choose from. As usual a wonderful mix of fabulous rich colours to choose from, and DEMOS available in all.

The next divine sandal is Celine, the options to wear with or without the ribbon is wonderful. The textures are all about summer and fancy free days spent in your favourite frock, best time to stroll those outdoors markets and beautiful builds we have at Phil’s Place. The height and style will look also wonderful with pants, to add a splash of colour to whatever your look of the day.

I wonder if you guessed which show I was quoting from earlier?… if not then these wonderful Boots, also from =DeLa*= , will help jog your memory.

They are the Blair boot and they have such a great modern Victorian look to them, it was instant drool. What better to show them off with, then the stunning Mistress of Occultism set from BareRose.

This set like all of June Dion’s work is STUPENDOUS!. It comes with the Purple, Red and Black pieces, and its the incredible prim/sculptie work that just shoots it into aq whole new level of YUM!.

the style is wonderful, and the pieces fit so well I didn’t have to move a prim. Oh wait I lie, the fabulous Optical Eye piece I did have to draw out a smidge, shown in the picture frame, with wonderful chain, it really is a marvelous accessorie and the attention to detail is incredible.

the buttons on the collar and cuffs are also sculpted with divine textures, and the ruffles are just adorable, everything about this set is gorgeous and it also has a Male version. I just love how perfectly the Blair boots from Dela go with this set, while strolling along you will get a glimpse of the gold buttoning up the side of the boots for added authenticity to your look.

The hair is the wonderful NEW style Emma from TRUTH Designs, a medium length style swept over to one side at the back and onto the shoulder.

Teagan Blackthorne of Style Your Destiny passed me a NEW Gown release for April Fools Day, but I don’t get the joke ????

Its a lovely gown, with different options of wear, showcasing one of my dear friends Sock Monkey- ahh remembers fondly days spent in the jungle, squabbling over who had the bigger tic infestation – *Focuses as its not time to reminisce.

I especially adore the red bow displayed at the top of this gown, on one of the options of wear, but if red isn’t your thing, you can go without…so versatile sooo chimp chic.

You can go and get your own Sock Monkey Gown at Style Your Destiny, and swing by Bewitched hair for the fabulous flea dipped Layla hair which is a wonderful way of keeping your hair out of your face. My subtle make up today is from About, sometimes a girl just has to go with the Natural look, you know “Back to Basics”
