Nova has returned to Hair Fair after a few years absence and it was with so much excitement…she has done some show stopping styles, and her texture packs are gorgeous. I used the beautiful hair clips created by Rowne that are also at Hair Fair with one style, and can definitely see them and the options of them playing a great role in many styles in future. I used the SAP hairbase with these styles to give a little more something to the looks.

Ayame Ame always makes such sleek and sophisticated styles, and even with the windblown look of one style I still feel glam. Then with the addition of the Poison Rouge hair accessories the violet fascinator makes it a perfect day time lunch with the ladies look. Then the Cleopatra headpiece is a showstopper.

Geek is the brainchild of Vinyl creator Toasty Banana, and in the past she used to do hair and accessories, and her returning to doing so for Hair Fair made me deliriously happy, on top of that all her hair is 100% donation. I loved the combination of this super high pony with the Gem bangs accessory by Ersch. They look fabulous together so with a glamourous gown you can go on a lovely night out.

You do not always have to have long hair to look glamorous, this style by KMH with the headband by Miura definitely gives that well put together look as well. It could easily be casual as well. I would usually go with black when it comes to dreads, but One Creations had their demo as red and it was instant love. Adding this great unihorn attachment by The Little Bat just made it extra fun.

Dela I have known forever, we go way back and one of her wants early on in creating in SL was to do Hair Fair, so when she started making hair it made me so happy that we could have her join us. This style is so lovely, and again I love these black packs that give a bit more with this great blonde fades look. It also has a great style hud option for different looks. Adding the lovely headband from NaaNaa’s gives it a bit more something and the headband has colour options and metal options.

I really enjoy the setting up Hair Fair process, it is like an Annual meet and greet in the hair community. It also means I get to meet new people, and having the experience face to face just makes it all the more meaningful. Such was the case with the creator behind the brand Sap, a lovely person who really enjoyed the whole process of setting up the store booth and we had a lot of fun chatting about decor obsession. 

The theme of the booth showcases her hairbases and add ons superbly, it was all very summer villa and sun streaming in and making everything just smell delightful. Swirling clothing and toe tapping music. I love the Solace hairbase and the Solari bun, for a very latin look, especially in the black. 

Adding the accessories by LaGyo that are also at hair fair, they were the perfect accompaniment for each other. The headband and veil adorned with the butterflies gave me those beautiful spring vibes, and the stunner of a hat, so mysterious so romance laden. 

Make sure you visit both booths on your visit around Hair Fair 2022, you will love it.

I am always so enthralled by the releases people make for Hair Fair, and when there are new to me stores that is so exciting for me. Funkystench is one such store and what a lovely creator Funkystench is. These are incredible styles with amazing features, an abundance of colour options for the hair itself and then amazing accessories, with such stunning materials. Their Dollarbie item the Rollers had me so excited, we have seen rollers in SL over the years and every set has always been fun, but I have never seen such a bougie set as these, the rollers have amazing options for colours, the pins gorgeous metals and then each roller is kept in check with 100 dollar bills.

The styles by Monso had me also enraptured. So much so that while they were setting up I could not help but sit on their store sign waiting, now I have to say that I did have to check the booth once done, but I really really also wanted get get my hands on the hairs too. Beautiful styles but the long braids has four options of look and while I am a huge fan of behind the shoulders which it has, I really had to wear this one in front.

Mina has created this amazing half hairstyle that in the picture on the right is a shaved base – worn on the left pic just to confuse you – it is a great Unisex style, and I do have plans to also try it with a hairbase of actual hair to see how that looks. You get the shaved hairbase with the hairstyle, and there are other shaved bases at the event. So you can try different looks and really rock out the hair. The Stringer Mausoleum Hazard style is a lot of fun, I was feeling fierce and rather than look for a shaved base from somewhere else, as mentioned I used the great one from Mina. TSM does this awesome thing where no matter what hair you buy, as long as you own one of their colour pack huds, you can use that HUD on that style, so that is handy. I also got some amazing eyebrows of mesh from their booth, but am wanting to save them for another post. When thinking Punk, Sn@tch is the store for me, so I combined some bom layers and some great makeup and loving the edgy look.

I still remember the first year that Argrace did Hair Fair, it was the Aztec build and their hair was a fast favourite for me, because they did hat hair really early in their creative career. It was 2008 and there were a few new creators at that years fair. I am so happy that they have joined the event year after year and they are always a pleasure to communicate with and always do incredible styles for the event. The store Manager Niema this year even did a bandana for the bandana booth and it is so lovely and she is so sweet.

The three styles are great, and very true to the Argrace brand, the Hanna style is definitely my instant favourite, with the tiers of hair cascading down the back in a style that once you see it you think, why do I not do that with my own hair all the time. I also really enjoy the black/white pack by Argrace because it kind of busts out of the greyscale box and adds some mixes as well as some colours that are definitely closer to blonde, so I get the best of all moods.

Zibska is another brand that has been with us many years, with her Editorial style she always brought amazing things to the event, but with the rules change she went in another direction and wowed the crowd. So many stunning hair accessories and each one of them donating 100% to Wigs for Kids. There are options of singular colour ranges or fatpacks with a hud that goes on for days in terms of how many options you get, also in the two floral pieces I am showing you have windy petals add ons so that you can look windswept and the one on the far left is literally coming apart as it blows away, such attention to detail.

How much fun are these two Hair Fair attachments by Tardfish, wearing them with the Hair Fair releases by Vanity Hair and it is just way too perfect the combination, but of course you can wear them with anything. They are animesh attachments, but you can move them into position which is awesome, and there are different options of the Medusa friends, you have up to 8 snakes options. The Neko Bell ears have a hud for the bell metals and the bow colours.

With animesh you must can only wear one animesh at a time for regular accounts, but you can attach two if you have a premium account. So worth it when you get to wear such creative items.

The hairstyles are glorious and the hairbase is built into the style, but there are bom layers as well in case needed for a better fit. The hairbase layer can be tinted to match as needed.

I am really enjoying the great new styles at Hair Fair 2022. There are so many goodies to be found, and it really is important to try demos on. These two great styles from The Mars come with bangs options, Selena also has the option of splitting the hair colours half and half, and Emiko has three bangs options and both have unrigged versions in case you need to move it around or need to resize.

Analog Dog styles are gorgeous waves and an abundance of curls. The Halo style is an amazing pony tail that when looked at from behind is like an amazing flower in bloom. There are options for bangs and different features to the styles but the wonderful thing about Analog Dog is that all the hair is MOD. So if you are one of those people that really loves having that as an option then this store is a you store.

Wearing some more Lunar with PIG mix, and the jewellery is Mandala, those plume pieces are divine. I picked up this duality necklace from Dark Mouse a few months back and love it.
